Great assistant coach!. Just downloaded this in advance of our first Tournament this weekend. Pretty simple once you get the idea of how to set up and view various options. I emailed with a question and got a response back quickly. Some new features in the works that will make it even easier. So nice that I can share easily with team manager and other coaches, scorekeeper, etc. Looking forward to being able to track some simple stats on our team as well

Pocket coach for the win!. For "coaching" (managing) a very competitive jack and Jill softball team; with tournaments, regular league games, practices, and 16 team members on the roster, this app was there for me. Making it super easy to have players tell me weeks in advance that they wouldn't be at this or that game, such and such tournament, and just being able to so "ok I got it" and swipe their name off that specific game/tournament took all the guess work out of "who's going to be there?." The amount of game winning batting line up's I was able to write because of the batting averages it kept up with was just awesome! Seeing whose had more fielding time than others, and who needs to get some fielding time in too was just fantastic! It took all the guess work out of the season, and really helped me keep it fair and win a lot of games. I highly highly recommend this app! Best pocket coach you'll ever need. 2016Updated version: still just as awesome as ever! A little glitchy here and there, but still my go to coaching app that keeps me and my team on top of it for each and every game, practice & tournament.

Must Have!. This app is hands down the best way for me to plan my defensive lineups for a whole game. It’s a feature not offered by any of the popular scorekeeping apps. The scorekeeping is very manual and not as fun as the popular ones, but it does allow for the more appropriate stat OBPE (On Base Percentage plus Errors), which is important for youth baseball and softball.

Great for little league...hope it gets better!. I coach T-Ball, Coach Pitch, and Minors. Couldn't ask for better tool. I used it for four seasons and will continue. I hope for some Apple Watch support(pitch counter, score keeper, etc)

It's great after you get used to it!. This far, I haven't had a bad wrap for this app! I've enjoyed it! Only negative thing is, sometimes it shuts down or "crashes" while your putting your lineup in or in the middle of a game! Thank God for books! However that started yesterday!

Great app!. I've been a coach for years and this app has rally helped keep my team organized. I love the lineup feature, and the parent communication function.

Great stat app. I love how easy it is to plot a roster and track the stats for a 6-8 year old baseball team. The developer is easy to contact and replies quickly. I wish there was an easier way to share the roster with my assistant coach so he can edit, but other than that it's awesome. Worth the money.

Promising. This app could be very useful. I say could be because it is not user friendly. The user spends a lot of time trying to figure simple functions like assigning player positions. It's not intuitive. I may change my mind after I use it more. But for the time being its too cumbersome to use during a game.

Makes me a better Manager!. Awesome app!!! Great for tracking stats on players from hitting, pitching, innings played, RBI's and on and on!!! I could not do without this app now that I have used it and the learning curve is quick.

Frustrating app. Ok if all you want to do is have a line-up. Can’t share with other coaches or someone keeping stats. Stats options are nice if you could share for someone else to use while you are busy coaching. Not a fan right now, but with simple improvements the app could be awesome.

Great App…BUT. The only BUT I have about the app is not having a section under the “fielding section” to take notes on errors made, putouts, etc to help me make good position decisions when needed

Vs Game Changer. I’ve been using game changer for a while now. After looking around I decided to give this app a try. The thing that appeals most is the ability to set positions per inning. I coach for my sons local little leagues (there are several). In gamechanger I have to change their positions every inning, so it has a tendency to mess with stats a little if I’m not on top of things. I noticed that the last update was a year ago, have there been any recent developments with this app? I’d be interested to see if there’s anything in the works.

Time Saver. I use to spend lots of time working a line up in a spreadsheet, then would have to make edits because a parent would tell me they couldn't make the game. This app saves me a ton of time when making my line up. It's a must have for any youth baseball coach.

Just what I needed. First day using it but so far it's been everything that I have been looking for. Love that it tracks practice attendance, defensive positions inning to inning and he score keeping seems super easy. The only thing I would like to see as of now is as part of the attendance and game tracker maybe an arrival time option, I like to track if my kids are on time or consistently late as that factors into play time etc.

Love it. Used this all season long. Great options, easy to use and fairly easy to share with other coaches. Didn't use all of the options available, but plan to explore more capabilities next season. This app truly has all the bases covered. Thanks to the designer.

Great little league app. This app is great for coaching. It is very simple and easy to use during the game. It is a great timesaver in making game day lineups. Last year I made all my lineups by hand. This year I spent a quarter of the time with no mistakes, using this app. All the stats and game/player info is readily available. I really like the email/message the team feature.

Baseball pocket coach..... This is a great app. Very user friendly. It has all of the information I need at my fingertips and is super easy to navigate. I will be recommending this app to all of the coaches in our Babe Ruth League at our next coaches meeting.

Awesome!. This is the best baseball coaching app I have ever used. I have 3 teams stored on it and with the ability to text, make lineups and record keeping this is the quickest and easiest app i have ever used. Other coaches in my league have used the app and love it also.

Best app ever. I'm a little league coach and find this app very useful. Especially the ability to mad text and email parents, way better than iPhones group messaging. Kudos to the developer!

Nice organizational tool. I don't use all of the different functions, but a very nice app for the little league coach. Adjusting line-ups and getting an easy to read printout are key.

Very happy with this app!. This really a great app. I coach two teams. For majors team I use it for batting stat. Really easy to enter game information and the stats it produces are impressive. For my younger Minors team I use it to plan all field positions for entire game and print a copy and place in dugout. Works great!

User friendly and reliable. This app works great! I keep all my teams stats on here. Works better than keeping books. The report generator is a great way to let the team know how they are doing. Highly recommend it

Updated Version is Cherry!!. When I first got this App, I was disappointed. I had a line of communication with the creator, and expressed my concerns. He responded to every email I sent, and assured me of improvements to come. He made all of the right changes through he latest updates, and now I highly recommend this app to any baseball coach. It's easy to work, and allows you to make changes on the fly. Worth every penny.

Awesome!!!!!!. I love this app. If it had a section for fielding stats that would be great!!!!!! Can you guys work on that? Also, have a section to take notes on each player too!!

Great app for Little League Coaches. $4.99 was tough at first but this simple app gives you the tools you need to manage your Little League team on the go. Basic stats (though some need revision) are an added bonus. If you are a Little League coach, get this app!

Question. Would it be possible to add hit location/notes for player at bats?

Super Coach. Used the app at today's first game and it was amazing. Kept track of all the kids and was able to rotate all the players with ease. Had a last minute no show and was able to make necessary changes in minutes. Thanks again & other coaches were impressed as well.

Very COOL!. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out the layout and the detailed notes in the app make it very user friendly. I am really impressed. This is exactly what I was looking for. I only gave it 4 stars because there is always room to get better and I'm sure it will get better over time. But it is really a great app just the way it is. Thank you!

Exactly what YOU want. Coach or parent.. Managed the game better by moving the OBP leaders where needed to be in the lineup. Keeps an attendance log for practices. For games, keep track of rbi's, walks, hits, extra base hits and types of each out. Bluetooth the other team's roster. Know what positions each player was each game. It's a digital scorebook. Well worth the price!

Software keeps closing!. I've enjoyed using this app. It allows me to capture the stats I really need and make lineup adjustments on the fly. Unfortunately though it has started crashing and now it will only open for a second or two before crashing. I don't want to lose the data so I'm stuck.

Pocket Coach. I love the app, but now I am trying to update my roster by exporting my TeamSnap roster and the app continues to reject it. I login to TeamSnap fine...

Long Time Coach. Excellent app for keeping track of everything for your team. Keeps me organized between innings especially for leagues where all players have to play. Defensive assignments easy to set before game and have it ready for the next inning. Highly recommended....wonderful app.

Very Useful App. Really helps to organize and streamline a process I've done for years on paper. Saves me a great deal of time organizing line ups and field positions. Would love to see a feature that auto generates rotating field positions. The biggest challenge I have is finding a fair way to move kids around the field from game to game. I would highly recommend this app to any little league coach!

Great for Organizing. Keeps kids from always wondering where they will play. They used to ask to play various positions but now they just go look and see where they are assigned. Great AP.

Stick with Paper. Confusing. Not helpful for little league. Don’t waste your money.

All Star. App is a must have for youth coaches! So easy to keep track of who’s playing where. Just print and post! Also great for simple scorekeeping for younger kids!

nice update. This app is getting more and more polished. It's great when the developer is responsive to feedback. All the glitches in earlier versions have been fixed and new features added.

Great app! Just a couple flaws. So i am a coach and i LOVE this app. Only a couple things i think would improve it. When generating a batting report. It lists the players in alphabetical order. There is no option or report to generate that “ranks” the players according to stats. I.E. batting avg highest to lowest. Also when keeping track of pitches. I accidentally tapped ball many times instead of strike. To remove you have to hold the button for about 2-3 second for it to remove ONE count. I went over by 20 pitches. So this was tedious to remove 20 pitches. Adding a simple plus or minus tab there would be great. Other than that, this app is pretty good. Update the report to reflect top to bottom performers and i this is a 5 star app.

Great for coaching. I was driving myself nuts working with spreadsheets trying to plan my Little League team's batting order and positions, only to have to change everything on the fly when kids didn't show up. Now I have a tool that allows me to see the order and positions inning by inning with the ability to make changes on the fly.

Great little app & getting better. Great little app & getting better. Used it all last season and kept good stats on every player which is good when all star selection time rolls around because there is no question who to send. Not to mention it really shows you what you need to work on throughout the season. If they added defensive stats and a couple other little things it would be almost perfect. Looking for more good things before this season starts! Keep up the good work.

Great customer service. I originally though paying for this app was a little expensive. Especially once i started trying to use the app for the first time. At first i wasdisappointed cause there was a little bit cause technology never seems to work for me the way i need it to. So i asked for help theough the app witha email and got a reaponse quicker then i could of imagined. By that time i figured it out but thanked john any ways for getting back in such a timely fashion. He even replied to that comment really quickly. For what i spent the app does exactly what i need it to to, plan out my line ups. Plus knowing customer service replies so quick to help makes this app well worth it. BASEBALL COACHES GET THIS APP

Easy to use. Intuitive app. As a manager, I use it to prepare for games mainly, and store results. I could easily be using it during games, but don't want to look like an idiot who can't put down his phone. Very helpful app!

Nice software. This software has a lot of nice options. One of the best I have seen. I like you can use it for different levels of detail. I would suggest a tab that would easily allow to keep track of general runs, outs , innings with out going into every player. Sort of like just a counter There is a lot going on with 7 year olds to keep track such detail as what base each player reached. It is a bit overwhelming while trying to Hurd cats. At the age I am helping with simple is better. The only other thing I would love to have is to be able to print the field position on the baseball diamond reference so I can post it for the kids to have a visual where they are playing. Right now I draw it on a white board and change it every inning. I thought this had that option when I purchased it because you can view it while choosing or changing their position. Overall a nice app, would be in my opinion perfect for my needs with a few tweaks. I also recommend that if you use the random option for field position it evenly distributs the kids that are benched. I like that you can change a position if you want but sometimes it will bench the same kid 3 times and not at all on others. Unfortunately my team is 15 played so we have to be sure the same kids don’t sit out all the time. I really like the swipe option to say they are there or absent but it would be nice if when I say they are absent it would switch their position automatically with some on that is benched that inning. Again this is a very nice software but not perfect yet

Great App. I use this app right from 1st base coaches position to record at bats. It is excellent for field position planning and attendance. I love the app, and have received a response the few times I have contacted the developer.

Ready for season to start. Without having any practice or game time yet with this app; layout and functionality are good and looking forward to having an easy tool with me in planning, in game.

Best baseball coaching app. Simply the best youth baseball coaching app!!!

One of a kind app. This app is awesome! I needed an app that would allow me to make lineups for my slo-pitch team. No other app allows you to make lineups for each inning to show the substitutions your making. It has an extremely easy way to keep track of stats so that you don't need to know how to scorekeep in a book to track statistics. It also keeps all my teams contacts in one spot to make a while team email or text easy. Definitely a must have app for any coach or manager.

Handy. A handy app to track who shows up at practices and produces during the games. Especially for RBI. Even the young kids like stats, once you explain what they are.

Not worth the headaches.. App is fine for the bare minimum. Unable to do any sort of data export to other coaches, all with paid versions of the app. Forced to duplicate data.

TERRIBLE!!!. I have bought and used many apps and haven't written a review on any until now. This is the worst app I have purchased. I can't believe I was duped into spending $4.99 on this thing. I have coached youth baseball for many years and am always looking to improve and use technology to help. This app isn't it!

DOA. This app does not work at all! I entered my entire team and trying to build my lineup for tomorrow's game. With every action, the app completely crashed and went back to the iPad home screen Simply does not work.
