MiLB Comments & Reviews 2026

Great app but needs some work. Great app for minor league. Please fix app for iPad so it goes landscape like the MLB app.

MiLB sight. My only criticism is that I wish it were a little easier to access all team box scores.

Difficult. Difficulty navigating between MLB and MiLB sites… very confusing

MiLB. I love this so I can keep up with them iron pigs however there is a problem that would like it if it would auto update in stead of me having to swipe out of it and then check it out but that my only thing oh and finally I really enjoyed the ai bit its something you don’t see every where but overall 5 stars

Pile of garbage. I bought tickets to a Woosox game, set up a new account, followed all directions to access tickets on the app and it was literally impossible to login. The same login credentials work on a web browser and the app refuses to recognize me account and it won’t allow me to reset my password. Trash.

Good!. Works perfectly!

Wife goes to the game; I stay home with this great app.. It saves me time of course, I still get a thrill out of checking up on what’s happening. And we can talk about the game when she gets home. Love it.

Can’t live without it. My son & I travel to Minor League games every season & this app makes our trips so much better!

Good app but…. The standings section in this app refuse to display any filtering changes. For example if I try to look at the Overall standings for a team it only shows second half. Nothing I do seems to change the display. I’m on an iPhone 12. Other than that it seems to be flawless and I enjoy using it.

Good, solid app. A very convenient way to keep up with one’s favorite minor league team(s).

Bring back the other layout. I liked it better when it was set up like the mlb app

Why not just give the app same functionality as MLB app?. Why not just give the app same functionality as MLB app?

Love to watch. But often the audio is not available until sometime during the first inning and I would like to hear the pregame chat as well as the the beginning of the game. Very frustrating.

This app is great!. I love this app. It’s a great way to keep track of the players on the come up

Some good some bad. It seems that some of the broadcasts are very easy to see, and The Voice of the broadcaster is clear. Whereas some of the other stations are not as clear, both audio and video. Chattanooga seems to be the worst.

Terrible. Terrible product, doesn’t work, terrible support!

Adjustability. Cant rewind more than 30 seconds. Wont allow pause for more than 10 minutes or it restarts the live game.

Easy to navigate. I find what I need about the Detroit Tigers affiliate teams

Update spins. Standing, news screen icon spinning… refreshed, deleted and reinstalled… same issue. Team main screen ok if no Update is attempted

Ok But Could Be Better. The app is decent but could definitely be better. Two things that really irk me is that I can’t search for anything. I would like to search for individual players but that doesn’t seem to be an option. Also when I’m on a team’s profile, I would like to see recent news (game results, transactions, prospect news, etc) from that team. But when I click the “news” icon at the bottom it’s for all of MILB, which is ok but I want to see team news as well.

Jupiter. So glad I can listen

MiLB. Fun to watch minor league baseball. I am interested in Jacob Wilson with the Las Vegas Aviators. The GM for the Oakland As said: he would bring up Wilson if he continued to bat over 400. Well he is batting 446. Will he keep his word??

Terrific app!. Easy to use to catch up on any team!

Please update this app. I know minor leagues is low budget, but my goodness can’t we get this app updated?

Tickets. Unable to find purchased tickets

Says you should be able to look at the menu and that is a lie. You can not skip the line and order though this app even though at the ballpark it says you can

Mlib. Best app ever to see the games and highlights

Like Being There. 🎯

Very buggy. Half the functionality fails to work. Can’t access the team pages. And replays only work occasionally.

MIzlB TV Broadcast. I love the TV Broadcast but it drops quickly on my ATT mobile phone whereas I can get the screen live play by play.

The first time the two sides were in the conference was the last one that the. Great review

Login for tix. The login for My Tickets is a mess. It is inconsistent and half the time asks to change my password. Even though I just changed it. I have face recognition. It still gets hung up. Nerve wracking especially while walking up to the ticket taker.

Best app for AAA. Loving this app its a must have if you like to bet on triple A

Baseball fans best friend. Great way to keep up with games when you can’t be there to watch them.

Almost perfect!. Great app that lets me watch my Eugene Emeralds! Just wish it supported Chromecast so I could cast the games to my TV.

Phillies. I like being able to keep up with the Phillies minor league players.

Great minor league app but needs a lot of work. Please add these functions/ features 1. Landscape support for the app for iPad. 2. Quad screen or at least PIP for games for iPad.

A lot better but still missing some basics. This app was a complete mess but now it’s much better. The developers still need to add Picture in Picture support, and AirPlay does not work either. As such, you can’t do anything else with your device without the stream stopping. Other than that, it’s been great.

Team Default. It would be nice to set a team as a default on the scoring page

Such an upgrade!. The app has improved so much recently, such a better way to follow along with my teams minor league affiliates

Not compatible with iPhone 15 pro. I have been trying for over a month to get this app to work on my phone. Works on my old 13 just fine. Have not been able to watch a game or archived game in 6 weeks.

need improvement. I have contacted customer service many times about making this more accessible for the visually impaired. They do not respond. Do not seem to care.

Tracker. Love the app and the info on it. Just wish it would track the ballparks and teams

Brings you the action. Thanks to the mlb app fans from all over the country and world can enjoy all levels of baseball action in an easy to use app

Updates. This app was really good 6-7 years ago but newer updates have made it borderline useless

Tracking minor league stadiums visited. I am a huge baseball fan. It does not matter what level. My favorite team is the Milwaukee Brewers. But I’ve been to every one of their minor-league teams as well. I am also a host family for the Madison Mallards, which is a summer collegiately. My goal before I die is to visit every major league stadium. I love that I can track all of my baseball game visits when I use the Ballpark app. It would be very nice if minor-league baseball would include a similar function in the minor baseball league app where you could track every stadium that you have been to in the minor league systemby checking in just like you can on the Ballpark app

Terrible App. All the good reviews are fake. This app is garbage. I don’t understand how the MLB has a bad app. The main app works great. I can NEVER actually access my tickets to any game I’ve been to on the app. I have to find crazy work arounds to try and print it or finally get it into my Apple wallet after 14 screens. Half the buttons don’t work 99% of the time when I try to open anything in the app. Once you select your teams it’s impossible to find ANY OTHERS. Like serious get this together.

Awesome. Didn’t know that if I had At Bat I could watch all the Milb games . Fantastic .

Love the whole app. I love this app. I can watch the game. I can see live stats, and I love that I can check the box score to see all the players current stats like innings, Ks, BBs, and updated ERA after every score or scoreless inning. The best part is I can watch the game later if I didn’t get to watch it it just watch my kid again lol

Nice app. I love this app, though would like to see better alignment with the MLB app in terms of content and presentation.

How do I get my money back?. Subscribed through the app, it’s charged my card but won’t let me watch any games?? Total rip-off! How do I get my money back?

Why mess with a good thing?. I rarely write reviews but I have been moved to do so by the sheer awfulness of the recent big update - which was optimistically identified as an improvement. I’m not sure where to begin with how terrible the app now is. It used to be great, with Gameday, boxscores and all other useful information built inside the app in a logical well structured way. But now it basically acts as a set of links to the milb.com website. Except it is poorly organised and not as easy to navigate so now I just go straight to the site. It is totally redundant and I just can’t get my head around why you would make such changes to what was previously one of the most user-friendly apps I used.

Just does not work. I’m not one to really write reviews but this app just is a mess. It says my login details are incorrect and won’t let me login even though the same details work on the website (trust me I’ve tried many many times). A lot of the buttons on the app seem unresponsive when you tap them. Additionally, one annoying thing is that when you’re looking at the scoreboard it has the city team name (e.g. Charlotte v Durham) but the on the list of games to watch it only has nicknames (knights vs bulls)- so as someone new to Milb and looking to explore it’s hard to follow who’s who. I hope you can fix these issues and I can change my rating

Just awful. There was nothing wrong with the 2018 app, I’m not sure what the need was to change it, but it’s now terrible. Viewing from Australia, just getting the right date on the app to check scores is a chore, and while you can select a fav team, you have to scroll through the whole league after leaving the app, just to get a box score.

Broken. Paid for subscription and still can’t watch. I want my money back. Do not subscribe!

Overall Not Bad (except 2 minor issues). Overall not a bad app, certainly shows that the people that are in charge are trying to get the game out to the MiLB fans, especially those of us around the world. The biggest issue that I have is that a recent update/change to the app appears to be have removed the ability to minimise the video to a ‘picture in picture’ to allow use of the rest of my phone, like is possible with both MLB app and the BallySports app. My second complaint is the inability to customise notifications like the MLB app, they’re either on or off. I’d like to be able to select notifications for the team I follow of just game start and game end unfortunately you cannot turn off the other game updates like each scoring play and lead change.

Horrible UI. Why can’t they just make it the same as the MLB at bat app???!?

Please fix!. More often than not I can’t open the app, and when I do My favourite teams aren’t loaded, nor does the audio work. Could be so great, but it’s useless.

Why no landscape mode? WHY?. This is completely ridiculous and annoying.

No landscape mode for iPad. This is a video streaming app, yet it does not support landscape viewing on iPad. It does on the iPhone so this isn’t such a hard feature to implement. Just really mind boggling.

iPad version no landscape mode. This app used to work in landscape making it full screen on a TV now it won’t, just gets smaller on TV yet the iPhone version does! Used to give more information ( columns on both sides of catcher’s view) in landscape and that doesn’t work now either! Why would you mess this great product up like that?

Still not fixed??. I should be able to get to a player’s bio/stats when I click on their name from the box score. I should be able to scroll through past box scores from the top of the team page. These are things that used to work before last season, but are just gone and not coming back? Yikes

Terrible streaming. Locks up and replays logo sponsee screen over and over.

BS 2019. Just want Blue Jays teams but get teams I don’t want. Go back to last years.

Great!. This app is the best! I can follow all the yankees minor league teams and you have endless access to stats! Thank you so much! I love it!

Baaaad. Last year was really good, this year it is awful!!! Never wants to load and using tune in radio sucks as well!! So much for following minor league baseball!!

What is this new format???. Missing the old format so much! Nothing is hosted on the app anymore. Schedule, score box, absolutely everything you click on sends you to the MiLB website. Really hope it is temporary until they come up with actual reasons to download the app. This app is absolutely useless for now

Not too bad. Nice working app. I wish I could add multiple favorite teams through AAA and AA. Wish they could add other leagues as well and player searches.

Crap. This app is awful, just keeps buffering. Last years was so much better. Tried calling for support, that too was terrible. Go back to last years!!

Awful. Used to be a fantastic app Now it's unusable. Ipad version still shows the schedule for last season. The mobile version is hideous and simply sends users out to the website. The website is much less user friendly. Brutal choices on this redesign.

Not broken, but fixed. This is BRUTAL. used to be an excellent site and easy to navigate. Not any more. Don’t know how it navigates now because it crashes every time I try to open. Please get this fixed before play begins.

Actually the worst app. So many bugs, it's basically unusable. Waste of money.

Could be better. The app gets the job done. I can find the scores and stats I’m looking for however it’s extremely annoying how it signs me out whenever it wants and I have to get a new password every time. If they could fix that issue it’d be a lot better.

Do you listen??. This app is horrible go back to the old format can’t even view box scores!!

Quick and easy to get started!. Picked my favourite team and had a live box score in no time!

Worst Professional Sports App that exists.. This app is designed terribly and has awful lag times. Why can’t I just open a box score? Why do I have to sit and wait for game day to open for a game that ended yesterday. Not to mention I’m lucky if the game day even loads properly. Last season this app was A+, now I’m deleting it and will just open box scores on my phones browser. Garbage!

Why is this app so bad now?. It worked so well last year, layout is horrible now

MiLB. Enjoining it almost every day. It is awesome!!

Ipad support. This is a good app, would like to see an iPad app at some point

Unusable in 2019. I’m not getting any value from my MiLB subscription this year because this app is so bad for iPad. The app redirects most things to external websites. It makes me re-enter my subscription info each time I select a game to watch. The app navigates in portrait view only. It requires tons of scrolling to ‘possibly’ find what you’re seeking. Even finding scores and stats is difficult. It couldn’t get worse, but at this point who cares? It’s already unusable. I’d give this app a zero star rating if I could.

Mudhens. Good app. Wish they just incorporated it more into the mlb app. Want more fans. Make stuff more available.

Well Done. MiLB is such a ‘fun place’ to visit!

So much potential. Discovered this app, and thought it would’ve great as now we can airplay from iPad to AppleTV. But fast forwarding is difficult, and when you awaken the iPad, it just drops. May have to go back to watching it on the computer.

Please update the app. This app needs to be updated to reflect the correct team names and MLB affiliates. ie. Las Vegas 51’s are now the Aviators.

Leave well enough alone. Why did you mess around with this app? It was so much easier to navigate in years past. I am only getting updates (notifications) from one of my selected favourite teams. I am getting notifications for all of Toronto Blue Jays minor league teams even though I have selected Boston’s minor league teams. I am from Canada so the app must think I am a Blue Jays fan (not). It was much easier to use this app when it was using the MLB template. Please leave well enough alone. Very hard to get boxscores.

Atrocious 2019 interface update, just terrible!. Last year app was intuitive and enjoyable to use. The 2019 “update” is a disaster. I hate it. Right off the top, it won’t rotate to landscape view. Extremely annoying and convoluted process to follow multiple teams within an organization. What the hell is someone thinking releasing this albatross.

Needs update. News is up to date but calendar and some teams are not

Voiceover issue. Cannot press play button on gameday audio with voiceover enabled, my husband who is blind would very much appreciate it if this could be fixed .. thank you

Please fix. The previous version of this app was much better then this current version. In the old version you could check the box score during the game. Now you can’t.

App crashing. Just updated app. Won’t open.

Update is horrible. I’ve used this app for the last 5 baseball seasons. The update this year completed ruined the app. There is absolutely no reason to even use the app. I can’t even get the box score of games anymore! Awful!

just bad. i was gonna sign up for the subscription but everytime I watch a video clip in news in freezes as it shows an ad. Also app isn’t usable in horizontal mode which is really poor design. should get some professionals on this.

Terrible. What an awful version of this app, just go back to last years version. I have to sign in every single time I want to watch, it crashes all the time or freezes. Also why did they make it so difficult to find a box score?

Ticket issues. I have received tickets via email for a work group and I have downloaded the app but I cannot, for the life of me, get the tickets into the app wallet.

Used to be better. Bad to see that very minimal work is being put into this app, especially for the team-by-team features. It’s very basic, in fact so basic that your experience will sure be better on the web mobile desktop version (where you get prompted to when trying to access players carrer stats). Still helps you to quickly access live play features like Gameday, MILB TV and Radio but won’t take it any further. It’s too basic for an app brought by mlb.com company as just too basic for an app in general.

New version. The new version does not open, just completely crashes.

No landscape mode. How is this very basic feature missing from a video streaming app? I can’t even charge my iPad at the same time because it only works in one orientation with the cord plugged in at the bottom.

Update sucks.. I used to love this app. Now I do not. The update is clumsy and a horrible user experience. Accessing boxscores / Game day is cumbersome and delivered through their site. Just go back to what you had.

Is this a joke?. I purchased a year subscription now. Downloaded the app. It won’t even open??

Website. Needs a review! Comes up on my iPad sideways and I can’t fix it!

I would give It less than 1 star if I could. This app has gone downhill. I have the app and pay monthly to watch games because my boyfriend is on a Minor league team. Video is horrible, I can’t ever actually watch the game. It constantly freezes, skips, stops all together. I’ve tried using this app on different devices and WiFi and It still doesn’t work. Not only that but I tried contacting customer service where all they did to help was tell me to delete the app and redownload It. Thank you but that was the first solution I had and that did not work. Now GameDay isn’t even working. The new 2019 version of the app is overall horrible. Thank God TuneIn still works or I would have zero way of staying in tune to how my boyfriend is doing since I cannot be there. This is by far the MOST FRUSTRATING app ever.

MiLB tv not working. Tells me to reauthenticate.

Worked great last year! Can't wait for update!. Loved using this app to follow my Astros farm system and also some local teams. People giving this app bad reviews because it hasn't been updated for the 2015 season need to do their research. Team rosters aren't finalized until the end of Spring Training, which is usually the end of March. Also, if you look at version history that's when they historically have updated this app. So, be patient people. This is a great app to follow all your local MiLB teams.

Works great as of 2022. I can’t honestly compare the app to previous versions but I can say that from my experience the app works very well. I remember reading previous reviews where certain aspects of the app were difficult to get to, but now it seems as though most of the things that you want to do are at your fingertips. The use of schedule banners and drop downs seem to be more logical. There are good similarities to the MLB app as well. As far as I’m concerned I think they listen to all of the previous complaints and address them.

Great App Devalued by Ads. I don't normally write reviews so hopefully that helps explain how annoying the ads are here...the app itself is exactly what you would want and hope for if you enjoy following minor league ball. I understand they need to make their money on the app, but now you have ads that pop up practically every single click to the point where the app is virtually unusable. I'm fine with watching an ad before a video but don't force one on me when I just want to quickly check a box score, and then again when I go back to the day's scores, and then again when I try to check the next box score. tl;dr- The app itself rocks, but the ads they recently added basically ruin it to the point where I won't be using the app as much anymore.

So much potential for baseball geeks. There could/should be a way to see all of your favorite teams news and stats at once. It can be a little tedious to have to switch through the teams you're following constantly. Furthermore, when selecting a players' profile, why can I only see one stat at a time? Give us their slash line or avg hr rbi or something that gives me an idea what type of player I'm looking at. Would be soooo Awesome if we could get sortable player stats of ALL my favorite teams at once (I.e. The whole Oakland farm system)

More MLB GARBAGE. Out of touch MLB ruining the game of baseball bit by bit, day by day, SAD.

Lacks features, difficult to navigate. Another year, another garbage iteration of the milb app. Nothing has changed. Can’t view a teams full schedule or past scores, have to look through day by day scoreboard for league or team. None of the players names are linked, so if you tap on a player name their stats or bio/profile don’t show up. Again see no support for complex/summer leagues. If you do go to the daily scoreboard and click on a box, there’s no way to return to the daily scoreboard. You have to navigate to a new tab, return to scoreboard, and start your search all over again. Year after year one of the worst apps I have to use on a regular basis. I’d gladly pay for a “pro” version of this if they mirrored the big league app. But this thing is trash.

Can’t read sideways. Why is the app locked into the portrait position? Please make it available in landscape as well. I can’t turn my iPad on its side without removing the case which is very inconvenient and not a realistic option. (I use the app on my iPad, not my phone.) When first opening the app, it is in landscape view. But once you get to the games, it’s locked into portrait. Obviously that can be corrected, so why not? I questioned this previously and nothing was done, maybe not even seen by the developers. I haven’t been able to use the app since I installed it. So currently it’s useless!

Used to be good, now it just stinks. 1)If a game was previously suspended you do not see the current game on the schedule you see that game and you have to scroll to the left just to find the current game. 2)You do not automatically stay logged in permanently, you have to keep logging in every few days just to be able to watch the games if you have the “TV” game watching subscription service. 3)With no season in 2020 you would think they would have worked on getting the ability to watch this on Apple TV so you can watch on a regular tv instead of mobile device, which still is not available. They had an entire year to improve the app but instead it has gotten worse.

Player search not available. It’s incomprehensible to me that a sports league would create an app to access content about its league but have no way to search for their primary source of fan interest (players). The app is fine if you are a fan of the local team and want to follow for scheduling or merchandise. But for anyone wanting to look up specific player content, bio or statistics it’s impossible — especially if you aren’t sure what team said player has been assigned or promoted to, which can happen multiple times per year. Please consider adding a player search function.

Makes the Minor Leagues look Bush League. I don’t have the time to bother going through everything wrong with this app update, but here’s some things: • Gameday and Box Scores are not embedded, but are loaded from their respective webpages. • Not only that...EVERY SINGLE BUTTON on the team page just opens an in-app web browser. Roster, schedule, team news, tickets, everything. • Gameday and Box Scores are not available from the scoreboard page at all (???), only if you save a team page. • If a game is rained out, the box score shows that the game is final and the game summary shows placeholders (e.g.: Runs: RR; Hits: HH; Errors:EE). • Viewing any stats screen shows exactly one stat at a time. • Most of the interface screens are filled with abnormally huge buttons or ridiculous amounts of white space, which is awful UI on a small screen. • Still does not contain information for the AZL, GCL or DSL. This app wasn’t great before, it was still just a 2-star app. Now 1-star is too high. Congratulations on making the minor leagues look downright bush league.

Three Stars for Lacking Some Basic Features. This app needs dark mode. It needs the ability to adjust font sizes and it needs to allow you to only follow the news of the teams you follow. Just because I follow a certain team’s minor league system doesn’t mean I want news updates from other minor league teams as well. Outside of that it’s a decent app. The 1.9 App Store rating is unfair. What other app gives notifications for minor league news and scores?

Great, almost fantastic!. It is fun to watch what the baby birds are doing, but one feature that would make it 10x better would be the ability to follow players. With as much movement as there is in the MiLB system, the ability to track a player and have push alerts based on what team a particular player is on TODAY would rock! I'd love to get push notifications for only the current team someone is on. As it is now, I have to "watch" several teams just in case a player moves up or down. I might be "following" several players, so I MAY be following several teams. Add that feature and you have a winner!

Needs to be held to a higher standard. I haven’t been able to get on this app since last week Thursday. I pay a subscription fee for this app the last few years to watch my son play in the Minors, and sometimes there is no feed or the app doesn’t work. This app needs to be held to a higher standard just like your MLB app. Stop treating this like a step child. I haven’t been able to get on this app since last week, and couldn’t watch my son last Friday on this app pitching his last outing of the season. Every time I click on the app, it blanks out & disappears. At this point, you should be giving me some kind of credit. I would send you an email, but last time I sent one, you never responded.

Awesome App. I absolutely love this app and use it all the time. The only problem I have is that when I am on the Trenton Thunder page (favorite team page) the articles are just headlines. I looked at a bunch of other team’s pages and this problem seems to only be on the Thunder. Do they not have anyone writing articles or is it just a bug? Other than this I absolutely love MiLB and this app and I’d even be happy to write for the Thunder myself!😂(but i’m 13 so i don’t know if I could do that)

Used to love this app, now it’s useless.. I’ve used this app for years to keep up with my (now) husband, and I’ve always loved it. It used to mirror the MLB At Bat app, which was great. Now it’s like they were too lazy to handle the upkeep the app requires. You can’t watch Gameday or see boxscores in the app anymore, they just send you to the website (within the app, but still). Because of this, any notifications you have turned on are useless. No notifications for when games are starting, lead changes, pitching changes, etc., which for many of us is a huge reason we use the app. This update is supposed to be more “user friendly.” It’s not. It’s garbage. None/10 would recommend, and I would definitely not recommend paying for a monthly or annual subscription for the app until they revert to the previous format.

What have you done?. This used to be an useful app for me regarding my favorite minor league teams. Easily able to keep up with their schedules with a few clicks and who was getting called up. I don’t know what individual made you change the app into a cheapen version of the website but they are not the brightest individual around. I don’t care about food at a minor league park that is 20 hours away from me. I don’t care about most other team highlights, I want to see the teams that I care about. It’s clear the app has sucked for years with a path forward before this update but now, the app has been set back years. All for a new logo

Useful, but missing a key feature of it's bigger sibling. I would rate this three stars were it not for the free radio for the teams I listen to. That is a great touch, but only when I can remember a game is on! The lack of even a simple game start/stop push notification makes this app severely limited in usefulness, mostly relegated to checking post-game scores and post-season standings. The ability to add all of your favorite franchise's minor league teams at once is a great feature (it's easy to forget the short season class-a and what not...sorry guys). This app is almost on par with its more mature sibling At Bat, but the lack of even the most basic push notifications stops it just short of reaching that goal. Still, it's difficult to complain when the asking price is zero dollars; this should not dissuade anyone from picking up this otherwise flawless app.

What’s up with standings?. Standings are all messed up. Teams are with 1-0 or 0-1 with 72 errors. UPDATE to reply to response: Thank you for your reply. I understand the season structure. The point is that when one goes into the filter to toggle stats between first half, second half, and all, the stats don’t sort/filter. It stays the same. At the time of the review, it was the first few days of the second half. Now they’re updated for the second half of the season. But the app is messed up in that I can’t see the state for the first half of the season or the cumulative stats.

Some improvements, some back steps. They did fix the bug about not being able to see the standing and scores for other leagues. They have also made it to where you can close the app, and still be able to listen to audio. However, I have some more ideas. I would like it if you could minimize the listening tab to make it smaller while still being able to listen, so you can use other parts of the app. I also was not able to find a way to see the elimination number in the standings. I know it’s early in the second half, but I hope that is around at the end of the second half.

Very Disappointed. I have been a user of the MiLB app for over 3 years and I have never been this disappointed. Feeds can’t be played on iPhone X unless you are connected to WiFi and you can no longer access box scores. This has been a major disappointment and all actual functionality of this app has been lost. The “improvements” for this app have been anything but and the navigation for this app is virtually non existent. This update has been a total flop and to say a disappointment is an understatement. The developers should be ashamed of themselves for assuming this would be an improvement. Update: This app slightly improved but is once again dysfunctional. Whomever hired these developers needs to be fired.

Useless on iPad. No PiP on iPhone. Won’t stay logged in.. This app is terrible and the live game video is absolutely not worth paying for. Why would you not enable PiP? Why must I provide my login credentials every single day I want to watch a game? Every data-viewing function just pulls up an in-app web browser and I can do that myself. How is this app so terrible compared to the MLB app, especially now that MLB commandeered the entire Minor League system? Get your crap together and provide an app and service worthy of the fee you’re charging. update: they haven’t fixed a single thing. Imagine having to watch video in portrait mode on an iPad with no picture-in-picture option.

Updated app is terrible.. I have been paying to watch the minor league games using this app for 5 years now. The changes that have been made are terrible. The schedule is no longer in a calendar view which makes it difficult to look at. The upcoming games no longer list the anticipated starting pitchers it only lists TBD. Initially thought the video could only be viewed using WIFI but now after trying to get into today’s game using WIFi I wasn’t able to access at all. Sent email logs but no response. I would recommend not paying for the video access because it is a waste of money if you think you are going to have access to the hundreds of games the advertise, you are not.

Do Something!!. The majority of the reviews here offer suggestions and/or complaints telling you exactly what is wrong with your app. Some of the complaints/suggestions have been the same for years but you do nothing to respond or make fixes. My main complaint is having to re-log on to this paid for app every day to watch games. This same complaint is here many many times but you do absolutely nothing for your paid customers. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Please fire whoever is in charge and find a professional that cares.

2019 version extremely disappointing. Last hear was great. Perfect way to catch practically any minor league game across the country. “improvements” for 2019 have significantly reduced the product’s value. Glitches are numerous and we are only one game in so who knows how else I will be disappointed in games to come: screen does not rotate. Games appear as unavailable in game listing once started but actually are if you ignore the text. While watching a game, we no long per have easy access to instant stats, other scores, line ups, with an easy swipe. Pregame coverage is gone. Even the customer service form isn’t functional. Still not sure how to access archived games from yesterday because navigation is screwed up. Not sure why, knowing this version obviously didn't work, MILB didn't just switch back to the 2018 version. I cant recommend it presently, not at $50.

Five Stars With An Upside. I really like the app a lot! No complaints on current function except agreement with others on push notifications. The other thing I'll suggest is Favorite Players in addition to Favorite Teams. Our hometown team is a short-season one and many of the players get easily lost as their careers continue or, in most cases, end before they make the Majors. Would love to be able to track individuals!

Poor experience on iPad and no Apple TV app. I follow Sugar Land AAA. They really need to have an MiLB app on apple TV as the experience on the iPad is quite poor. I cannot watch games on it and get an error about it not being supported. I can watch on my iPhone though. They also block Airplay on both devices. The only way I have found to watch games on my television is to use my iPhone and turn on screen mirroring. This isn’t perfect as there’s a border around the screen. The iPad app does NOT support landscape mode, which is also annoying. It’s a shame, as the MLB app is very polished, but the minor league MiLB app is very minor league by app standards.

What happened??. This app used to be exactly like the MLB at bat app. The update for this year unfortunately has completely destroyed the app and has made it useless. This was an app I used to check day in day out to follow minor league prospects. Who’s bright idea was it to remove box scores from every game?! What a shame. I am very upset by this. Please go back to the old set up. It actually looked better too! Who could have possibly thought this was a good idea WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!

Great interface, awful performance. This ONCE was a great app for followers of MILB. The functionality has diminished tremendously. In other words: used to be really good now it’s not! Access to box scores is clunky. The audio access has issues and won’t play in the background. It works with iOS 12 and has rendered many devices inoperable with this app. MLBatbat is amazing and this was a pleasant supplement for junkies of the game. I get frustrated listening to baseball... which is unfathomable. I’d go one star but there is a lot of content to account for and it is free. ****Not ONE 5 star rating in the last year. That would be worrisome to me!

What happened?. Why did you feel the need to “fix” this app. It worked perfectly well for the last 3 years. This new update has ruined The Who milb experience on my smart phone. We no longer can see a teams schedule by the month. That makes it hard to get a visual for where they will be and plan accordingly. Why do we now need to be redirected to a website when choosing to see the box score? Why doesn’t it go to the most current game happening when you choose your team. I have to scroll to today’s game for some reason. Why when i pick to watch do I have to constantly pick double A. It keeps returning to triple every time. Also why do we have to keep signing back in every single day. Get it together. Who ever redesigned this app needs to understand what it is like to be a fan of the milb. This app is complete crap and I want it back the way it was. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it!

Landscape mode on iPad. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews for this app. I don’t think it’s as bad as they sound, but also, a lot of those reviews are from 3-4 years ago. There are things that can be tweaked for sure. Maybe model the app a little closer to the MLB app itself. But my main complaint is that there is no landscape mode on iPad. This is annoying when you are trying to simply navigate the app (get scores, standings, news, etc.), but it makes the app almost completely unusable to watch games on an iPad. Landscape video works fine on iPhone, so where is it on iPad?

Thanks for nothing!. Your free live streaming audio feature is useless! Cuts out after 2 minutes. Takes another 2 minutes to get back to team selection page to start audio again. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! whoever designed this app did not make it "user friendly" to say the least. . I was considering a subscription so I could watch the games BUT the fact that the audio feature is so bad I will not risk subscribing to the video broadcasts. Just think of the money you must be losing as I doubt I'm the only customer who feels this way. p.s. A nice addition to this app would be a glossary of baseball abbreviations

SO much potential.... I wanted to reiterate what others have already mentioned because I think it's important for unsuspecting potential users to know... There's a lot of spam on this app, virus-type BS that'll pop-up on your screen out of nowhere... That's the BIG issue #1. #2., after you click on a player's name to see their profile (and/or stats, ETC.) the stat-line for that specific player is, at best, incomplete... 10 game splits only show (for example) "1/3" (if you happened to be on the generic category, which is either "AB's" or something very similar like "hits", etc. (I know, it's ridiculous)) If you want to see the player's "hr total" it'll simply show you the date and whether or not that player indeed hit a HR.... Nothing else. This obviously needs to be fixed. But more important is the amount of adds and spam which pop-up into your screen as often as possible...

2 things that need to be fixed. I love this app. I watch games with n it daily. 2 things would make it perfect for me: 1. Let me watch a minimized view when doing other things on my phone without completely leaving the app. MLB app allows this, it makes the small tv window when needed so I can do other things on my phone whereas MILB app completely closes the viewer if I do anything else on my phone. I have found no way to fix this. 2. The AirPlay does not work consistently sometimes it won’t load at all and other time it will Work for a bit but then stops. Thank you!

Fun to use during games. I go to our local AA Affiliate team quite a bit and like to keep score. But even if I didn’t, sometimes strange things happen in the game and I want to know what the ruling was. So I fire up the app and use the Gameday feature, which is the pitch-by-pitch account of the game. It is nice that it is usually less than a minute behind live action. My previous review ranted about not being able to see plays but I've actually figured it out. Game day shows pitch by pitch and the most recent plays and Summary shows all the game's plays. I do wish the Plays summary had the arrow to pull down the pitch by pitch like on the Gameday screen, but no big deal. There also a weird bug when there a substitution. The text appears on top of itself until the next play is shown. And when you switch between Gameday and Summary, you always have to scroll down to the bottom to be back where you were. Tricky tack things.I've upgraded my review.

Only comes up portrait. Can’t get this site to view landscape … MLB app is landscape, not MiLB

Log in issues. I use this app quite often. My son n law is a player and spends time between MLB and Milb. When he is in AAA I watch his games by streaming through this app. My issue is not the app itself but with logging in. When I watch the MLB app I can log in one time and it stays logged in. I NEVER have to log in again unless I sign out of the app. The Milb app is frustrating because every time you close the app whether you log out or not you have to sign back into the app again if you want to watch a game. Please fix this issue!!!! You should never have to log back into this app ever unless you physically log out.

I wish this was like it used to be.. I had this app for about 2 years and I didn’t use it much at first. But our baseball team where we live is only about 25 minutes from our house. And it’s easy to go to games and this app “used “ to be very helpful. I have been having trouble even logging into and seeing seats availability and tickets and player stats and so on... now it will not even come up for me. I hate not seeing player stats and stuff like that bc some of our former players went to go on to the Majors for the Texas Rangers. It’s a shame that this app used to be so good now I don’t even use it. Bc there is really no point in it. Please change it back.

Review. Very cumbersome to navigate to team sites and see stats.

Great app!. Love the milb app! Great resource. I do have an idea to try and improve though, if possible. When I'm looking though a box score, I know I'd love to see which players are listed on their team's top 30 per MLB pipeline. I'm thinking next to their name they could have the number (e.g. Moncada, #1). Alternatively, maybe just putting their name in bold font or all caps to highlight that they are on the top 30 and then when you click on the players name it would show their overall and organizational ranking. I know most of the guys in my favorite team's top 30 but I rarely know the opponents' top guys. Again, just a thought. Love the app overall!

Could be great…but not until it fixes the issues. My biggest gripe is looking at box scores. As a fantasy baseball player I look at minor leaguers I own and scout others daily, if you click on any box score you are unable to navigate out of it and return to either the previous page, the home page, or any other screen outside of any links involving the affiliate who’s box score you opened. The only way is to completely close the app and reopen new. This is both tiresome and tedious. It needs to be fixed, I don’t recall having this issue in past seasons so I am hoping it is addressed shortly.

Growth of the game?. I have never reviewed an app before but went through the trouble of posting this to share my disappointment in removing box scores from the app. It is no secret that baseball is struggling to maintain its appeal especially with younger fans. Instead of adding functionality, they have removed key elements I suppose in an attempt to force fans to pay for the paid package. Between this and the recently released memo cracking down on the publication of video I question whether this is a sport that wants to retain this once avid fan or in fact any of its fans. Please MLB and MiLB please take your cues from the NBA and embrace the social experience that is being a fan. I hope this latest update is just a stepping stone to an update with greater functionality that hasn’t been released but if anyone reads these please consider adding back box scores. Until then my usage will be 0.

What In The World?. I’ve never felt passionately enough about any app to write a detailed review, but this most recent update has me so confused that I felt obligated on the small chance it may spurn a change. What were you thinking? Seriously, who approved this? You took one of the best sports apps out there - easy to use, convenient, gave all the relevant information quickly, probably the second best box score app in my opinion - and turned it into a glorified web browser. Why? Did you need more clicks on your mobile site or something? I seriously don’t understand it. It’s..awful. I used the old app every day, and now I will struggle to use this once a week but only because I have no other options. It’s that bad. And to top it all off, you waited until after the season started to send the update! It doesn’t look better, it doesn’t function better, and your webpages take forever to load even on 100mb WiFi. Pay the players, then pay for a better app support leadership team.

Used to be great. I used to use this app every day to check all sorts of games and stats, HOWEVER, they’ve made an update this year in 2019 in which the app is utterly and completely useless. The way to view schedules are garbage, you can’t view them by game, finding player stats and info is very difficult now, and overall this app is complete trash. If they want people to continue using it they better revert back to the old ways, because this is an absolute joke for an app in 2019. Update: The reviews about how much everyone hates the changes to this app continue to pour in, yet there is no effort of any change on MiLB’s part. This is a pathetic excuse for an app compared to what was our last year and before. I continue to only use a computer to check minor league stats and standings as the way the app is designed is so utterly poor it is unusable. Revert back to the old changes or continue to lose attention from fans you desperately need.

We all make mistakes. I also once hired my unqualified nephew to redesign my product because my sister and mom guilted me into it. I also thought the half-baked ideas he gleaned from his half semester at community college before dropping out sounded at minimum different than what we were already doing. I also lost revenue and respect as a result of his ineptitude and my own terrible decisions. (Hang on. That's not what happened with this app? Oh.) Well, I also worked for a group that provided an efficient and satisfactory service, which meant they really didn't need much from me. This made me frightened they might begin to see me as dead weight as there was little reason for me to work on something that already functioned so well. In order to justify my position with the company, I needed to implement a complete overhaul of the product to make it so unbearable they would need to keep me on staff for eternity to undo all of the problems my "improvements" created. Problems such as paying customers bailing like rats on a ship. (That's the one. Feels good. Feels right.) At least 75% of the streams no one will ever get to see via the app are theoretically in HD now. Y'know, 15 years after HD became standard. Maybe if I delete and download the app an eighth time it will work. Maybe? It might be working ... nope, it was just gas.

Not Functional, Support Non-Existent. I downloaded the app and subscribed to MiLBTV to watch Durham Bulls away games. I have an iPhone 6s and Apple TV. I wanted to stream games via Airplay from my phone to Apple TV. Games work perfectly fine while playing on my iPhone, but the moment I switch to Airplay, it no longer works and I get a blank screen. I tried a random, pre-recorded, highlight video on the app and used Airplay. It worked with no problems. I contacted the supposed customer support team regarding the issue and have yet to receive a response. Beyond that, the Standings page flickers/jumps every time and doesn’t include all of the information that the team sites do and it send a notification when a game is delayed due to weather.

New user, very disappointed. I’m new to following MiLB games closely, because my home town, Amarillo, just got a team. I was excited in the offseason when I found out there was an app supposedly similar to MLB atbat for minor league games. When they FINALLY updated it and added the Sod Poodles the day before the season, however, it became nothing like the At-Bat and basically useless. Everything you could want to look at (Box Scores, Highlights, Audio from the games) just takes you in a pop up window and loads it on the MiLB site. If I wanted to do that, I’d just pull up the site myself. Plus, I turned on the notifications for the Sod Poodles and haven’t gotten a single one. I’ve had better luck turning on Twitter notifications from the team and listening to games in the TuneIn radio app. A refreshed version of last year’s app seems like it would be a lot better. Not sure why this route was chosen.

Alerts disabled by resetting all settings. This is a common bug in apps. Resetting all iPhone settings disables all alerts. Some apps recover by asking to send alerts when you open them, some never try again and require the app to be deleted and installed again. This is one of the latter, requiring a full app delete to get alerts back. Please fix Also please share data with Apple so scores appear on Apple TV alerts and in the Apple sports app.
