don't waste your time. the "recolor" option that they're advertising is basically a scam, this app isn't free, almost every feature you have to pay money to use. Complete rip off, don't waste your time or money

Pure Rip-off!. They advertise it as free… Then after you download it and try to use it they charge you $.99, then next thing you knowIt’s $4.99!! It’s just a pure rip off, starting with false advertising! Android’s Google play store is way better than this!

Extremely useless. This is one of those apps that you downloaded and find out you can’t do anything until you “subscribe”. Devs, get Apple to create a subscription category instead of making it as free. You get the one star until they change it. Also, I don’t like apps where the devs or the devs close buddies comment on the app.

It turns all photos gray. And the only recolor option is to paint over them with another color after you pay for the “recolor” option. It’s a scam.

Worthless. Not worth it. You have to purchase the different effects. I purchased the pencil effect. I used it a couple of times. It would not let me use it unless I purchased it again. I change my photos to black and white using my photo app.

DO NOT BUY. this app is an absolute scam, by "recoloring," the app is literally just referring to drawing on top of your picture with different colors, which you can only even do if you pay $4.99 for the pro version. You can do this on Snapchat for free. COMPLETE rip off and waste of money, I could not be more disappointed.

Immediate Uninstall. Not even worth downloading. You have to pay to even see how recolor feature functions. Don’t give money to Dev’s who want to double dip.

Do not purchase. Scam app. The “recolor” feature isn’t what you think. It doesn’t recolor elements of your photo. You just have to draw on top of it with a color. It goes out of the lines and looks horrible. AND you have to upgrade for $1.99. The free version does nothing.

100% False Advertising. This does not do what the app and images say it will do. No tutorial and no instructions. I demand a full refund! 🤬

FUN. Fun effects to highlight specific objects in your photos. I like this app; still just use the free color effect.

Does nothing. Not easy to use, makes no corrections. Limited controls that do nothing. And I'm not seeing how to finalize or done or anything that makes any freaking sense. All I wanted to do is take off some dark spots and it does nothing. I'm 60% sure it's me and I just can't figure it out. All I see are adds and nothing helpful.

Not free. OMG! Really!? Don't download this app! This app was made to recolor your photos and it's supposed to be free, but as soon as you click the option to Change the color it says you have to upgrade to the paid version, excuse me, but if you can't even pick what color you use on your photo on the free version there is no reason to get the free version at all. This thing should be flagged for false advertising, unless you have the $5.00 to pay for this app I would suggest not wasting your time on it.

Not worth your time. Can’t change the color from gray. Any other color costs money. Has no help as to how to do anything on the app. Most of it is just asking for more money for stuff that you could do on your phone without it and the other part is ads. Please do not download or give access. It worth the time of downloading.

Theif... Took my money. Me trying to X out the app. And I touch with my finger to go home and takes me ID and now I wasted my money on a dumb app that isn’t worth my while.

Too many ads. Won’t allow you to purchase. It’s an absolutely wonderful app but there are way too many ads an ad pops up every single time you do a picture even if you stay in the app to do three or 45 to 10 second ads will pop up every single time. Then you try to go and purchase it and it acts like it’s loading and then it just never loads I tried opening and closing the app several times to no avail

No point. There’s honestly no point to this app, all you can do for free is make the photo black and white. Everything else costs, instantly deleted this after 2 minutes of frustration.

Rubbish. Doesn't produce pics as advertised and samples provided. They have been done by a professional graphic artist. The pics the actually app produce looks like done by a 3 year old and pics don't look nowhere near sample pic provided feeling ripped off big time. I like you to refund me my money please. I will keep you all updated if I receive a refund.

Omg this app change my dogs life. This app like totally trips me out.... My dog only sees in black and white so, when ever she takes a photo and sends it to me, it's always in black and white. Do you know how annoying that can be. Especially when she is actually a really good photographer I just tell her she has to figure out a way to show her work in color otherwise, its always going to the same old dogs coming to her openings and buying her work. If she wants to reach a new audience she needs to add a pop of color.....well this app has changed everything for her! She is now selling all her work before the opening is even scheduled. Lastly, I would just mention the one drawback I have seen in her new found color app and that is, fame has opened a lot of new doors for her and I have noticed that she is sleeping less and drinking more, she also been interested in other male dogs, she has an interesting way of introducing herself, she immediately puts her nose right into their booty and often gives a little lick on the balls. " all and all I am happy for my dog and although this app has taken my best friend and my soul mate, it has given my dog an opportunity to experience the dark side and I know when she comes on all fours begging for me to take her back there are going to be new rules in the house starting with, morning walks. I need to sleep in on the weekends and this early morning s*^t just ain't going to fly anymore.

Horrible. This app is not free and is not something I would recommend to purchase.

Spot and recolonization. Automatically changes your photo to grayscale, then you can recolonization from the original colors of photo or you can pick a new color and change the opacity. Easy corrections with eraser tool. And you can change the brush size to get into those hard to reach cranny. Use as many colors or as few as you like. Excellent job! And saves easily.

Nothing is free. I cannot even tell you how the app works because I'm not willing to spend $20 to get the picture result I want. I was very disappointed with this app just like all the other free apps. I would actually pay for it if I could tell how it would come out. If they did a "create your first 3 pictures free" before all the in app purchases lock up and then you have to buy them, I think they would be a lot more successful. I'm not stupid and almost every single app I've tried so far, make it nearly impossible to figure out how to get your pictures to look the way they claim.

A splash of color here or means a hint of identity, leaving pictures dramatic and powerful. Giving pictures a meaning or giving it symbolism. This was really an app I had been searching for and I'm glad I've found it. I see no problems or glitches with the app whatsoever and it is very simple and easy to use, who ever created such an app is a true genius and must share a passion for photography just as anyone else who downloads this app. :)

OUTSTANDING! PLEASE READ!!. I love this app because it allows you to express yourself in many different ways. For example, my cousin took an awesome picture of the sunset. She wanted the sun to stand out more.. So what did she do? She used this app! She made the sun in color and then had the rest of the sky and the ocean in back and white! If you want to make you pictures look amazing, I highly suggest that you use this app!

The picture saves all messed up.. I have used this app previously & it worked great. I purchased the color change upgrade & I spend a ton of time fixing the picture perfect to what I want, but then when I hit save it has all kinds of color errors on it. I can use any of the photos that I spent so hours working on. Also, anytime I zoom in it will just zoom out at the most inconvenient times & quite often. So annoying. Save your money until they can fix these problems.

Why not free. Not free really so mad

Used to be better. I've had this app for a while, and earlier versions were legit the best. When the opacity was turned down all the way you wouldn't be like it is now. Now, when the opacity knob is all the way to the right, it's still very opaque. You can still see what's under where you colored. Which is very disappointing. It's really one of the main reasons why I wanted to have this app. So I could color over stuff. But now I can't. I love this app. I really do, but it's no longer 100% reliable to me now.

get creative and try it out!. I've tried several color editor apps and found this one to be the best so far. Like any other free app, you'll have to rate it to unlock other features and deal with ads but I can deal with that. A good app to have in your editing tools to make your photos look even better and get creative and have fun with it.

Pretty Rad, but..... This app is pretty easy and nice to use for when adding some color pop to black & white photos. However, when I save the photo to the library, it makes the photo blurry, making it not as enjoyable and less desirable to use, though the color pop looks cool. Even editing with sharpness, it just makes the photo look a bit more edgy, in a non-good way. Aside from this, the app is cool, but if that (what I believe is an) error was fixed when saving the photo, then the app would be a lot more enjoyable.

Great example: several of us gathered for the biggest rivalry in our state. I only colored the jerseys- really fun look. . The features are limited, but the app does exactly what it advertises. Sometimes less is best! Again easy, cool app.

G R 8. I'm a photographer, so apps like this are very helpful; considering the fact that we are always motivated to create a new piece of work, one that stands out to others. Grey and white is so simple, not enough to catch an eye ... But out of the grey a burst of color! Perfect ... Although I wish they could cut down on the advertising 😒 Otherwise, the app is great. Blew me away. In trying to find a balance between intuitive, powerful and becoming second nature without having to study on or off site, I've collected and tried a lot of apps. This, by far, exceeded what I imagined that I could get in a single app. I'm a relative rookie, so my rating must take that into consideration, as my stars mean either more or less than a pro's may, but all five of mine are happily given Five stars. I've never taken the time to actually review an app. But this one has blown me away.. I have had an iPhone for about a year now ; I have been taking pictures and editing them since 2006 - I cannot tell of how many different editing applications / websites / programs that I have used over the years . This is the first one that I have ever came across that had a side magnifier where it showed you where your brush , and have it be so accurate , easily seen , and so zoomed into the picture . I would and will recommend this app . The only thing that I have an issue with is that it doesn't have any other features , but it's flawless , without wax an astonishing app . Congrats .👌💋😘💯

Waste of money. This app doesn't let you do any of the cool things it says it does like changing the color red to stand out unless you pay 1.99$ and then when you finally get to pick the colors you want to stand out it has a paint brush that you have to use and try to stay in the lines of whatever you are trying to bring out the color in. If you are trying do do eyes forget it you will never get it to look like a kindergartner didn't color it. And no it's not all the user because I have fairly small finger tips and I could not get the little paint brush to fit in the eye area.

The worst I ever tried. The is without a doubt the most offensive app I have ever opened. I realize app makers need to make money and ads on free apps are part of that. But this app is obnoxious when it opens with a very loud ad for something. I don't even know what the ad was for as I was too busy trying to stop the offensive noise. It finaly stopped after tapping many times. But I could not continue without allowing this to finish blasting in my ears. This is why ad blockers are needed for apps like this. A written ad with an x to go on is less offensive and tolerable. When I find myself scrambling to turn off a horribly loud and obnoxious and unexpected ad, I do not even get the chance to try the app. So the folks who brought this to me are shooting themselves in the foot. Not only does their advertiser get ignored but the app is deleted before given any chance. Ads are ok. This app and it's ads are not.

Haven't used all the features yet. I downloaded this app because it received a lot of good reviews however, I haven't had a chance to really try any of the features because all of them have to be "unlocked" other than the basic stuff like cropping and regular photo editing that you could usually just do from your smart phone. I will post another review once I actually get to try some more of this apps features. Thanks!

Easy as pie. Great app. Very easy to use. The only thing I would recommend is the ability to click on an area that you colorized outside of what you want to be able to revert back to bnw without having to go back all the steps you had already gone thru before realizing you put color on something by mistake. Other than that, it's a very easy app to use and goes a long way to making a good picture very creative.

Don't bother installing if u don't wanna pay $2. This app is complete bs! You can do everything, EXCEPT add any color to a black & white picture, unless you pay for the "Pro" version! Had they been upfront about it, then I would've had NO PROBLEM paying the measly $1.99. But, since they decided to be shady, not to mention falsely advertising their app, then they won't get one red cent out of me! I don't know why so many Devs feel the need to pull this on consumers? I think they'd make a lot more money if they explained that this is just an EXAMPLE of what the "Pro" app can do. This COULD, easily, be one of the best/user friendly color splash apps out there, but they had to go & falsely advertise what the "Lite" version can do. What a shame.

Mind Blown. I think that Color Lab is great to make photographs that nobody has ever seen before. I think that because you are given a choice to either keep the color the same, or you can change it to any color that you would like.
