hopefully this is just the beginning teachers need to be upgraded. this app presents in the Italian language but if you go to settings and choose inglese then you can access all documents in English. However, the written lines do not resize to screen and it does not allow you to turn the screen sideways to view more of the sentence.it is too bad with all the assets available to the church they can't hire a teenager to fix this. also the videos I tried to watch have no audio working. Nonetheless to have access to all of the Vatican documents is a treasure

A link to God in a Sea of sin. I adore this app and the chance it provides to read homilies written by His Holiness the Pope! Some of the best writings one can read, not some third rate newspaper, I advise any Catholic or anyone interested in learning more about the Christian faith to download this unassuming application which can help you plunge into such mysteries, read the words of the impassioned (papal homilies), see the history of the blessings (virtual tours of the Vatican), and maybe know the waters of the passion. God bless you all and especially the Pope!

Ok app but in Italian only. This seems like a good app but I gave three stars because it is in Italian only with no apparent way to change Languages. As I don't speak Italian, this app is useless to me.

Wonderful photos, good information. After switching the language to my native language, so much more was discovered. Still, even just the photos are inspiring. Certainly worthwhile app.

English?. Yes folks. There is English. Though everything starts out in Italian. Click on the table (top left), then click on the Settings at the bottom. Then click on Idiomas, and click on what looks like English. I think it said, Inglese. Something like that.

Cannot change language. This looks like a great app. Only problem is that it is stuck in Italian. Despite having options to change language, they do not function properly. It will not change to any language other than Italian. I am sure this will be resolved with future versions....soon I hope.

Starting to Improve. Right now I can't get any information on it. I keep on getting a "Network Error" and a timed out. Perhaps, it needs to get a few bugs out it so it will work properly. I think once it gets fixed, it'll be a good app. I finally got some info from it, so I think it will be ok.

HELP!. I want this app to work so badly but every time I try to open a document the app crashes!!! I have deleted and reinstalled it several times over the past several weeks. It does the same thing every time, for every document I try to open. Ugh.

Another endeavor for the new evangelization.. A great way for the lay faithful to be connected to the heart of the Catholic faith through social media.

Updates and Organization. Thank you to whoever is updating the General Audiences lately! They are being posted the same day given by Pope Francis, which is much more quickly than in the past. Also the topic of the talk (e.g., the current catechesis on prayer) is being listed along with the date, which is very convenient. Is it possible to do that for all past audiences, as well? And Angelus/Regina Caeli talks? Thank you!

Language has been fixed. The problem in the previous version in that it could not be switched to English from Italian has been fixed. Thank You.

Change language. You can change language. Find the regular setting cog icon. Press and an option for language comes up. Easy

Not in English. This app is in Italian. Not one section is English. It is useless for me and I cannot use it. Also it would be nice to have an app that could replay a televised mass on the app for those people who live in countries or areas where attending a Catholic mass service is not possible.

limited home page and index. This app seems to function more like the vatican news app... finding substantial documents is so laborious this app is practically saying “go find a better Catholic app”. The intent of this app seems to be just advertising the latest events; if this is not the intent, then the index should display more usable, practible content (documents, etc).

Only the Italian version. Downloaded this as I had it on an older iPad, but this version is Italian only. There seems to be no way to get an English translation.

This App only has Pope Francis’ messages and writings. I was looking for a comprehensive app that would have church documents from our rich history, but it stops in 2013. Very disappointed.

Connection no longer working. The connection worked the last 4 days and now nothing works...

Game Changer. Wow! Just Wow. This app is convenient and intuitive.

Nowhere near as much content as the website provides. If you want to solely look for what Pope Francis writes, what he says in his audiences, access his previous writings, receive recent news from the Vatican, etc., then you can install this, but the website already has all of that, plus the writings from previous Popes. If you want to read anything from Benedict XVI or John Paul II for example, you have to go on the website anyways. If this was at all comparable to what the website has, then it would be an easy 5 stars, but it is incredibly limited in comparison.

Video not compatible. Everything works good except when watching video on the news section of any topic it won't play it because it needs a Microsoft silverlight plugin. I have iPhone 4s and that's not compatible.
