Great app but needs a better name. Not the best name for the app since it what the app offers is really a great news and update feed about what the Holy Father is doing, including links to events, live broadcasts, text from homilies and speeches, images and links to other Vatican sites. Very good look and feel to the app and everything works well, have not noticed any issues at this point. I would suggest finding a better name for the app though, The Pope App does not convey the right tone. What about Vicar of Christ? That seems to more accurately imagine who the Holy Father is and the mission of the Church. Looking forward to using this daily. Thanks and God Bless the Holy Father and God Bless His Holy Church!

Lots of info on this app!. This definitely gives a lot of access to the Vatican that regular media doesn't report on. It's very fascinating indeed. For some reason all of the webcams stopped working though. Is it a result of the conclave? Viva il Papa!

Good app. Great way to keep up to date with the Holy Father. However, none of the videos have subtitles. Doesn't do me much good to hear Francis preach if I can't understand him.

Worked, but broke now. The app stopped loading the home page just before Christmas. It appears the Vatican redesigned the web site to be mobile friendly and I'm guessing they no longer need the app. The support link on the App Store takes you to the new site. It looks great

Loved version 1; trouble with version 2. I am having the same problem as "Bug" (#1) above. The app thinks I do not have wifi internet when of course I do ! A second problem happens when I choose 'video.' When a video begins a white square with options appears - from where I don't know, but I suspect it's from iTunes. This square will not go away ! One of the options is 'info for nerds' or something like that. I hope someone can explain these bugs, or better yet, knows how to fix them ! I loved PopeApp 1, but PopeApp 2 isn't doing its job !

Great app. This a great app to get access to pope Francis's daily messages. I'm grateful to explore the Gospel and the Church messages but also to have a way to connect my faith with worldwide events and news.

Useless. You’re better off with a daily google search than this. It’s a novel idea, but its not realized in any meaningful way.

Periodic crashes very slow to load. Great content when & if it loads.. While I relish the connection and content, I am dismayed when perhaps once every four months or so, the ap hangs up, and goes to black screen. I then delete it with all the data saved, re download it from the ap store and usually it works again. This time it didn't. Bummer . I really liked and relished the ap! An update:The latest version 8/7/14 or so is rather nice, but very slow to load, both on my iPhone and on my iPad mini. In fact there have been times when I give up because it has taken so long. Please fix this. As I said at the top, I do relish the content, but the bugs are disenheartening.

What happened. I loved reading the Pope’s words filtered only through a translator. His words were unfailingly loving, relevant, and challengingly. Now there is only a blank screen. Does it need funding?

?. Easy to use. I especially like the webcams and links to other Pope related media (Twitter, Vatican Radio, etc).

Home Button Not Displaying Info. The Home Button has not been displaying information for weeks.

Great app, needs one addition. Great app, but really could use a notification setting so someone could set alerts to stay up with the upcoming conclave!! It would be a great addition to be able to have an alert when any new news comes from the Vatican.

Keeps crashing!. I was having crashing problems, so I deleted, then reloaded. It's working fine, and it's a great app--lots of nice features.

Great but a problem. Great, but when seeing the twitter add on window, if you view the popes tweets, and go to retweet it with your own account it always exceeds the character limit.... maybe due to the picture that is automatically added by your app? I cannot manage to fix it. Please correct this.

Pass.... This app RARELY works. Maybe once a month or so. That’s it. It’s bad. No updates. Seriously pass on this.

The Pope Ap. Beautiful app. Does audio accompany the video? I have downloaded the app twice but cannot get any sound when I run the video. Please let me know if someone has the same issue And if it was resolved or if there is no audio to accompany the video. Thank you so much and God bless. PS. Several days later--the audio is now working. Txx.

Why does the app not appear?. It's been a month without this app offering anything but a blank page. I ave greatly enjoyed its content and now miss it. I'll tried all I know to restore content. I hope you will do likewise. As it is , it is useless.

What the Pope actually said. I can’t find any source to go easily to read the Pope’s actually homilies and addresses. The old Pope App had the tab “Words of the Pope”, which was the only thing I used it for. There are a million sources if I wanted to read Pope Francis reported on or summarized. (Which he really doesn’t need anyways.) What doesn’t exist is one where I can go directly to what he said, and if it’s not the Vatican app, then where?

Gave my Faith Back. After forty years away, This little app brought me back to the Catholic Church. Each morning, I arose early and the first thing I did was open this app and read what the His Holiness had been doing with joy. I used this as my devotional. Now there is a blank screen. I do not know why, but I only hope that the lack of updates is not caused by the twisted use of social media by a few misguided others.

Great App!!!. Wow! Everything about what Pope Francis is doing plus all the Vatican news up to the minute. I love the images and live video feed.

Amazing. It was so great to watch everything live today even though I had to work I was able to watch live. And when the black smoke came I saw it when Rome saw it! Amazing app! I have been blessed to see 2 Popes and receive a blessing from both, but could never understand what was being said. Now with this app you can read in English the addresses and blessings! Now I will watch for the white smoke and then start planning my visit for that 3rd Papal blessing!

More than I was hoping for (in the best way)!. It has what I would typically have to search for on the Vatican website, but it's got a really intuitive layout for whatever you're looking for. Written communications, video, it's all there in a very nicely organized app.

Wrong wrong wrong. I used this app for years to read the daily tweet from the Pope. And now, nothing. I’m not in social media because I despise it. Buy this was a good way to listen to God’s voice and find daily comfort. I hope this can be fixed!

Worth Every Penny. For those interested in the Popes this provides hours worth of research. For an app It contains good information and histories for the popes throughout history.

I like it!. I enjoy the simplicity of this App. Easy way to catch up what is going on with the Pope and Vatican without having to sift through an overload of data. I hope these items remain so with the upcoming events especially the Conclave. Also Price Was Right!

Not for bad eyes, yet. Love the selection of stories. Trouble is, I don't see very well, so I prefer the larger font. Trouble there is, the viewing box doesn't grow, so I can't see the whole article in anything but the smallest font. I have to copy the text and email it to myself. Please fix this so I can enjoy the text in the app.

Love the app. Love the app but the latest update on the iPad only shows the picture, none of news items load it just stays white. Please fix it worked before the update

Please add liturgiae horarum!!!. It would be much appreciated by us in the world if we were able to listen to the liturgiae horarum liturgy of the hours that is broadcast thrice a day on Vatican Radio in Latin. I already use feedly app to receive the rss feed of these but it would be nice to receive them with alerts in the Vatican radio app. To listen to the liturgy of hours chanted in latin everyday brings me peace in the world where the news tends to be negative or filled with angry opinions. I hope you can spread these to a wider audience and save more souls!

Wonderful App!. This is a wonderful App. I was able to watch the installment of the new pope live and I got really excited because I felt like I was really there! Great job!

Really cool!. This is great. It is a well made intuitive app. Looks like the Vatican's media department is finally stepping their game up a bit. This app does need iPhone 5 screen support though. Other than that it is awesome.

A Bug. I have an internet connection when it says I don't, so it doesn't let me load certain menus. Oddly enough, it lets me see the Pope's twitter feed just fine. Please fix this! :)

Pope app not updated. So very disappointed in the app. Over 2 weeks since it has any news of the pope. Always looked forward to his sermons. Please update it daily. Why is this happening??

Excellent. App is very convenient. Love the ability to view live events, photos, read speeches and homilies. I feel like a Vaticanista!

No Sound. Can’t get any sound from the videos. Will wait to see if you do a bug fix before I delete.

Some pages cut off at bottom. I used this app to watch live feed of Pope Francis' election. And I look forward to how the app will unfold. May I just make the developers aware that on some pages the text cuts off at the bottom. What I mean is that scrolling down, the text box is too small for the number of words or lines it was meant to hold. Please correct this minor bug. Thank you.

It was better. This app Was much better. The text has disappeared and the only thing that can really be enjoyed is the videos nothing else that matters is available. I get better service from other sources then from this app. In my opinion it’s becoming useless. I tried to delete it and download it again thinking that I might be a problem with an update. But nothing happened much to my disappointment.

What I've been looking for!. Great UI and the chance to see Pope Francis' social media messages without getting bogged down by the Twitter app. Love the daily homilies. Please keep this app going!

What a great idea. Wonderful app. Helps me get right to the texts I want to read from the Pope. Also, good video feed that allows me to see the vatican. Great idea!!! Splendid new tool for evangelization!!

Surprisingly well done!. Great way to keep up with the Pope. So many Pope/Vatican apps are a bit dull and almost pointless - like they don't understand what apps are about. This one does.

Pope App "Great!". This app has everything you'd ever want to follow the day to day events and "catch up" with His Holiness, one word for this app, "Wow". It's free, but I would pay for it. I highly advise others get this app.

Language. Very nice app, but the language setting should be independent of the iOS setting... for example, I prefer my iPhone setting's in English, but my first language is Spanish and would like to set the app to it.

Needs an update. The home screen no longer fills in with the Vatican news. It’s just blank. I’m using the website now.

Great App!. Fantastic app! Lots of info. Slick look. Easy to navigate. Suggestions for improvement: scroll bar to indicate article length; share button for social network sites.

Okay. The app is okay for what it is, however it would be nice if it had a sleeker look and was easier to navigate.

Cannot retweet.. The Twitter retweet icon does not work for me anymore. I cannot share the pope's tweets through Twitter.

Language. It would be nice if there was a way to choose what language to display the app. Since my phone is in french, the app automatically comes in french and there isnt much on it...! I would definitely give more starts if I could have a better access to the content!

Terrible since last upgrade. I used the app on daily basis, it kept me informed about the Pope, but not since the last update, it takes for ever to load, some screens don't load, it hangs everywhere :-((

Catholic Girl. Loving it. First new media attempt by Vatican that really feels like it hits on all cylinders.

Poor news format. Each news article is incompletely displayed. Scrolling does not allow one read the entire story.

Great App- Need to Clean Cameras. Please clean cameras before the canonization ceremony! This App provides great insight into Pope Francis and his teaching. I love watching the live shots of the Vatican especially Wednesday mornings but the webcams are in desperate need of cleaning! I'd rate this a 5 with clean cameras:-)
