Cute! Too many typos though. This app is super appealing to the eye and has great potential for the followers of God who need a daily dose. However, there are quite a few typos I’ve noticed and I’ve only had the app for 10 min. This might not be a big deal to some but it ruins it for me. Now I question if the verses are even correct... a little more editing before publishing would be my recommendation.

The adds make it too unpleasant. The pop up adds are obnoxious. You get one second into reading and then the screen gets taken away and replaced with an advertisement. I had to delete because I just couldn't tolerate being interrupted with an advertisement every time. And some ads are videos you have to wait for seconds to count down before you can X out.

Great app. I love this app because I feel like it’s helping me find my faith again. The only problem is that it shuts down whenever i try to download a wall paper. Can this be fixed?

It’s okay.. The layout is cute and I really like the aesthetic of the app. I am not too fond on the fact that every time they use the pronoun for God they don’t capitalize it. Maybe it’s just the branch of Christianity that I am, but I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to always capitalize the “H” in Him or He out of respect. Also there are way too many in your face ads, and I think it’s annoying that I have to pay for the word of the Lord. I have a free bible for that!!

Its a great app. This app inspires me a lot its like if the lord himself was speaking me to me but theres one problem I’m trying to get on the app but it keeps kicking me out and I deleted it and downloaded it again and it still wouldn’t let me go on it please fix it

STAY AWAY!! SCAM FOR YOUR MONEY!!!!. Once you actually try to open the app up to see what it is all about it automatically makes you sign a free “trial“. But there is no way to get your self out of the “free“ trial until it auto renews into a subscription. Basically they want your money before you can cancel. The “free“ portion of the trial is a absolute scam. There’s no way to alter the versions of the verses you see. And There is no way to personalize, a just, or even cancel anything about this app until they had taken your money. This is an absurd example of a Bible-Based Christian Business!! This should be taken down and burned! The pictures are not only archaic, but the Business tactics are monstrously embarrassing!!

Terrible new design. Please change back to your original typefaces and design!!! This new one is ugly, horsey and difficult to read!!! I am so upset. This is my favorite app ever and I can’t stand looking at it it’s drab it’s not pretty like it used to be. I’m so upset I’m so upset please change it back. It looks terrible. I don’t know who the graphic designer was, but they didn’t do you are terrible disservice changing something that was wonderful the way it was!! Nobody wants to read bold text!!

Inspirational. I’ve been enjoying this for a couple years and have zero complaints about it. It’s one of three I check each morning as I start my day to be uplifted. It’s uncanny that on numerous occasions the verse exactly coincides with thoughts or concerns I have & the coincidence reinforces that God is with me. Thank you for providing this excellent resource.

Visually appealing, easy to navigate. I love this app, I use it daily! The reminder is a great way to start my day, or any time you schedule it to send you the daily verse. I really like the devotion feature as well. Easy to use and the wallpapers are so pretty!

Great App, even without paying for premium.. I honestly think using the app for free, benefits me fine. You have access to beautiful wallpapers and daily verses, and have an option to schedule them. For me, it all I need.

Good, but. I like the app for daily use, but when I share verses on Facebook the verse doesn’t appear I’m the post. Just the app icon shows up & the user has to tap it then is directed to the App Store. I wish the scripture would appear in the post for inspiration instead of advertising for app.

Ads volume on and on high !. This app has great daily verses. I have enjoyed reading the daily verse. However, I dislike that the ads have the volume automatically turned on. If I check the verse early in the morning I am waking up people because it takes a minute to turn off as you maybe half asleep. I understand the reason behind the ads but not the volume turned on. Very annoying and makes me think twice about opening the application. Please fix.

Same verse- same day- 1 year apart. Today is February 14, 2022 and the Bible verse for today is the exact same Bible verse for February 14, 2021. I know this because I screenshot it and posted it on Facebook last year so now I’m going to go through all of them and if I find another one I’m going to get a new app which is sad because I get up every morning and read my verse

Inappropriate ads. While I love the simple features and ease of use of this app the inappropriate ads are just weird. You’d think the developer of a Bible app wouldn’t approve lingerie ads with photos or “Russian women looking for men” with low cut tops. It’s a bummer because the app would be awesome without it.

Wrong verse of scripture quoted. To my embarrassment I forwarded a verse of scripture from this app to some of my friends. First, I should have known this scripture’s location, so that’s on me. This app states that 2Peter 3:9 is “ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That scripture, in fact, is found in Hebrews 13:8. The good thing about their mistake is that it reminds me to be in the Word much more so I can know where the verses I rely on are found. ✝️

Great for verses but a little pricey for devotions.. I really like this app it’s nice and easy and doesn’t require any information like your Facebook account. ( I’ve seen lots of bible apps do that before. ) It has great daily verses that work amazing, which is what I got the app for. However if you are wanting this for like a daily devotion it’s kinda pricey when I can get something like solid joys for free. And there is also just a few occasional adds but NOT many. So if your getting this for the verses I TOTALLY recommend it!

Good but you have to pay. It’s a really good concept, and I love the app. You just have to pay for most of it. But it really is a good app! You should get it!! I really hope that the creator would see this and explain.

I love it. This app what is free is only the verse of the day and that was all I was looking for. The verses are very encouraging. At times I have felt very sad and the verse of the day is like the Lord speaking to me. I really appreciate this app. Also, the pictures on the background constantly changes and they are all beautiful!

Ads too in-your-face. I wish an ad wouldn’t pop up so suddenly when you first open the app. Or it would be much better if ads didn’t show up on the whole screen at all, but a little box at the bottom so it doesn’t interrupt your reading. The app also crashes when you try to download a wallpaper. Which is a shame because they are so pretty.

Great without pop ups. I love this app but it always pops up at the beginning that there is an error and then another pop up about not being able to connect to iTunes Store which is very annoying. I have adjusted all my settings to no avail. I would give 5 stars otherwise wise. If the developer is seeing this could you please try to fix this and I will delete this comment for a more favorable one.😊🙏📖 Thanks

Good. I love this app, I just got it on 1/3/19 and everyday that verse comes through my phone , it has given me something that I have a problem with each day , this app has given me hope and power through out the day !

🙏🏻. I like this app and have had it for some time. Try to check out the verse for the day before I do anything else in my phone. Noticed today though that the verse does not match the location. The verse for today said Ephesians 2:20, but the verse is actually Ephesians 2:10.

AUTO SUBSCRIPTION. I WOULD GIVE THIS APP NO STARS IF I I COILD. I downloaded this app and never used it. It never gave me any notifications like I wanted. So I forgot about until I couldn’t download anything to my phone because of it. I don’t keep a card on my phone however since the free trail was a scam and they automatically subscribe me, I couldn’t download or update anything on my phone until I paid for a subscription I didn’t want! I tried to just cancel it and they STILLLL WANTED ME TO APP FOR AN APP I COULDNT USE AND DELETED! The worst scam ever!!!

Allow sharing. I’d like to be able to share my daily verses-devotional- and stream if I want. I paid for a subscription, let me share the word. Isn’t that what this about?

Wonderful inspiration for the am and pm. I love this app. In this hectic life it is good to have access to comfort and inspiration for the day and calming your spirit after a difficult day, The ads help support the program and they are easily dismissed.

Would love a journaling option!. I love this app and I use it every day! I would just love it so much more if there was a journaling questioning to go along with the verse every day and a place to respond!!

disappointed. I have difficulty with this app. I cannot retrieve a verse by date if I have inadvertently deleted the reminder. I dont like the advertisement for the devotionals. I paid a subscription for no advertising.

eh. it’s okay ig as every day it notified you’re with a bible verse, but they’re random, basically like even on Christmas it was unrelated to Jesus’s birth. it also is really confusing when in the app, and it requires money/premium for “all devotions.”

Nice, But.... The app has nice photos and a clean design. I like that you can get rid of the ads by purchasing the app for $1.99. Not bad. One issue I have is that the references are wrong. I noticed that a year ago on this same day someone posted about the daily verse, Ephesians 2:20 being the wrong verse and it still is. I hope the developers read this review and can fix the references.

LOVE THE WORD but when it comes to cancelling NOT GOOD!. This app is nice for The Lords Word. I wanted to see what the devotional was about and in order to do that you must subscribe, so I did. Unfortunately I did not like the devotional at all there were lots of errors and it was very hard to read and understand. App states that all you have to do is turn off the auto renewal to cancel but there is no auto renewal so here are the correct instructions to cancel for anyone else who has difficulty doing so Launch the Settings app. Tap iTunes & App Store. Tap on your Apple ID. Tap View Apple ID when the pop up window appears. Enter your Apple ID password or fingerprint ID when prompted. Tap Subscriptions. Tap the Subscription you want to cancel.

This is Good. This is NOT scam but a common people who design any app they earn. There nothing to do with scam. And the. Daily Bible Verse is free and other than that it s up to you.. peace be with y’all and God bless y’all 🤟

I love it. 5 stars from me. This app is getting me back into Christianity. Thank the Lord. I love the verses they always make me feel motivated when I’m not. Happy when I’m down. You just have to remember that God loves you.

Pretty Nice. I like the verses they put up because it’s not just the same ones you hear all the time. But it actually gives verses about our God and his personality. Also if you do the FREE trial it may seem like you have to pay money before you can stop the autopay. However all you have to do is go into iTunes, sign in, go to settings, then subscriptions and you can see every app you have a subscription too and you can cancel and you can still keep the free trial! I think most people don’t know that and that’s where this company tries to get you.

This is Mormon and it isn’t Free. The Book of Mormon is NOT the same as our Book. You don’t see it until you have downloaded the app and the first screen opens up with a monthly subscription fee and it say MORMON! Why hide that in the up front app info? Not very honest for a “Christian” organization...

Too many Ads with no way to close them!. I've had the app for a few years but lately there is too many ads and no way to close them on iOS 13.5.1 so I just delete it and searched for another.

Great except for 1 thing. I like this app a lot except for one thing. When you are in the wallpaper section the verse is small and there is not enough contrast from background. The scenery is lovely but I cannot read the verses.

I WANT TO CANCLE MY FREE TRIAL SO I DON’T GET CHARGED.. I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. If I could give this no stars I would. You can’t view the devotional unless you enroll in the free trial or purchase a subscription. It says you can turn off auto renewal in account setting but it doesn’t show anywhere in the app. And lastly, the verses or devotional cannot be personalized or altered. Not a very user friendly app either. Would not recommend.

THIS IS A SCAM. Do not install this app!!! It’s just a scam to send spam emails and once you install it, it installs a permanent imap email account. You can only delete it when you go to General/Settings/Profiles. You can’t even “delete account” from the email accounts like a normal email account. Please stay away from this app, should be ashamed and shut down.

My toddler purchased. My 3 year old was in the app and handing me the phone my print enabled the purchase... oops however this little mistake has cost me $5 a month because I CANNOT locate how to turn it off!! While I have used the subscription because I have it, I would enjoy a more user friendly subscription controls.

Obnoxious at best. I’ve never written a negative review, at least in the past few years, but I thought this app was so terrible. I had to. The pop up ads make this unbearable. And then that’s not even the only ad, there is also another one at the bottom. This app is so cluttered by advertisements that it ruins the whole experience for me. I wouldnt mind paying for the app, if only it wasn’t $30 a year. That’s beyond ridiculous. You’re trying to make a profit off of His word by tricking people into paying this dumb fee when there are better apps that do the same stuff for free. Like I said, I wouldn’t mind paying 2.99 for ad free verses but $30 a year.... you’re smoking crack

:o(. Way too many ads. Every time you click on something you have to watch an ad. I even had to watch and ad just to leave this review from the app. Every time you read a verse there’s an ad. There are so many ads.

SCAM!. This is a terrible app! I have been searching for half an hour to find a way to cancel my subscription! There is no way in the app, so you have to search your entire phone for the subscription section to cancel it! I am not happy! Do not start the free trial because it’s not as easy to cancel as you think!

White Lettering. I love the Bible site. This is one of the better daily verse programs. The only drawback is that th verses are very hard to read. Please change the white lettering to. Darker color

Great app. The app is wonderful with amazing verses and very aesthetic backgrounds, however, I am experiencing some launching issues and when I try to save a verse from wallpapers I get kicked out of the app. Please fix!! Thank you for all the wonderful verses though:)

Nice. This is a great app, i enjoy the daily inspiration, however I would love to share daily scriptures. I am unable to do so when attempting to sharing with my Facebook family. The scripture will not post, only a link to the app.

Would be better with no ads. I love every morning going to see a Bible verse, but the ads are very irritating. They pop up all the time. But the app would be perfect without any ads. :)

Littered with ads. Plenty of other apps that give you access to daily verses without ads and the rest of this app they won’t let you access unless you pay for it. I understand people need to make a living but monetizing the Word with ads that are questionable and in such quantity……there are better apps out there than this. I’m deleting it right after this review

Only one version. I don't like this app for 2 reasons. Firstly, in your app description you didn't write which bible version your app took verses from, please put that in. I decided to download it and find out. Then I worked out that it's NIV verses. I'm looking for a king james version app, which brings me to my second problem, there is only one bible version option. This app would be so much better if you added the option to choose more bible versions.

Can not unsubscribe!!. Do not purchase. There is no way to unsubscribe from auto renewals. No support and no way to make an account in which to unsubscribe.

Ads ads ads. Could not even use the app because of the multitude of pop-up ads

Pretty but useless.. The concept of the app is great. A very nice design as well. But you have about half a second before a gigantic brightly coloured ugly ad pops up and 9/10 times there is no x to return back to the scripture. So the app is essentially useless unless you want to watch an add for candy crush for a few hours.

Great app!. Reading the verses each morning is what gets me through the rest of the day... even the most difficult days. Love it!! Praise the Lord!

Frustrating. I paid for this app to be ad free but it still has them. The reminder won't go off although I've adjusted it in my settings.

Why!?. The actual app looks nothing like the images in the description! It looks cheap and just plain bad! The verses aren't even in a photo or anything. They're just on the screen. So disappointed

ADVERTISING. The ads cover up the share and more options. I can't access my bookmarked verses due to this issue. Please fix this issue. I wouldn't download till they fix this

Frustrating. I’m trying to cancel before my free trial ends so that I don’t get charged, and they make it extremely difficult.

The ads ruin the whole app. The ads pop up as soon as you open the app and 75% of the time there is no way to get rid of them. Had to delete the app which is really disappointing.

Needs some work. I literally just downloaded this app and found a grammatical error. Who’s typing out these verses?!😑 I know that it shouldn’t matter that much but it does to me🤷🏽‍♀️ Ex: Jan 2, Revelation 19:6 The I heard what sounded like a great multitude.... “THE?!?” What he heck?! *pretty sure it’s suppose to be “then, and or I” *i screenshot it for proof too! Customer Support - how to contact?. There is nowhere to contact support or get login information if forgotten. Really frustrating! I am trying to cancel my plan that I accidentally agreed to (starting my Bible Study too early I guess) and now I can not find where to cancel!!

Wallpaper Crashes. Just downloaded this app and am frustrated already because EVERY time I clicked on a wallpaper to save, the app crashed. Overall the app is aesthetically pleasing and the quotes are great. Please please please fix the wallpaper issue!

Not good. Zero stars. Can’t cancel.. I clicked on the 7 day free trial and now apparently there is no way to cancel that and I’m going to get charged for a month!!!!???? No way to cancel subscription. I’ve been trying to canceling my subscription but there is no way to do it. If it wasn’t for that I would be giving it 5 stars. I am hoping someone reaches out to help me with this issue.

Don’t Buy. So I’m one of the dummies that went for the $30 membership. It’s exactly same as free! They are mostly Psalms verses so if your trying to get a daily devotional this is not for you. There is also no link to stop your membership so if anyone knows how please let me know.

Who are you helping us? Or yourself?. This app is all about the money. You can’t even read the verses in peace without constant adds popping up trying to get you to purchase the app. You are not about spreading the word of God you are all about the money.

No free “trial”. Just skip it—there’s nothing free here and other apps can do the same thing.

Honestly horrible. Only gave one star cause I had to. Why on earth would they think it’s ok to have a Trump add pop up when I open the app? God is not political and the fact that you would use a bible app to push a political agenda. Discussing. You should be ashamed.

Glitches, too many adverts. I’ve used this app for a while and since the update it continues to ask for my password when I’m using it to install something on my phone. The adverts are overbearing. Not enough good in this app to deal with the bad.

Great verses! But some bugs. It won’t allow me to download a wallpaper I really like. It shuts down the app every time I go to try and download it.

Book of mormon ad. Just opened up the app and a book of mormon ad popped up. Really? You’re letting other religious affiliations advertise on a bible app? Somebody should be screening these ads to make sure they’re what users actually want to be seeing.
