Used to work great. I used to love this app, but since the upgrade it switches the sound off as soon as my screen goes to sleep. What good is a sleep app that only works if you're actively using your phone?!

Pay to run in background. No way am I paying $3 for a mediocre app just so I can turn my screen off to save my battery.

CRAP!. Makes you pay for background noise and it doesn't even work!!! BOGUS!!!

Didn't work, where is the 0 stars option?. No audio in a white noise app? Lame.

Redesign somewhat problematic. Cute redesign, and does help me sleep (great on trips too). However the redesign put the start button too close to where you select the sleep time, so you often change the amount of time to rest instead of starting the count down. You have to touch it at just the right spot for it to work.

Review. The mask is a cool thing

Simple & effective. I've been looking for the soft versions of the other color noises; I'm glad they're featured here.

Must purchase but works well. Like the last reviewer I found it much better than carrying the sleep machine but you had to pay to keep it from turning off. The sound does not seem to repeat and it is very good at masking outside noises.

Will not play longer than 15 minutes. Paid 9.99 for this and can only be used for 15 minutes

Sleep Mask for daily use. This app is perfect for masking distracting noise in an open office environment. Really helps to cancel background voices, laughter, etc. works great when on telecom with a single earpiece. Put an earbud in the other ear, kick off the app--totally blocks outside sound while on call. Really glad I found this.

Broke a good thing. This used to be one of my favorite apps. Terrible update. Won't restore purchases. Code is super glitchy. Won't even let you BUY upgrades in app. Ugly new icon, to add insult to injury.

Needs To be fixed now!. Too bad I updated. Now I can't hear the noise while screen is off. I bought the app over a year ago and use it every night. It's says I have ads turned off but I still see ads. Won't let me restore purchases either.

Didn't work at all.. Lame.

Does what it's supposed to!. You can set a timer or just have it continuously running. I personally like the brown noise to sleep to. Great in hotels! Just try to have it charging if overnight, because it uses quite a bit of battery. Get it if you're a noise freak like I am!

Useless. Sound is interrupted every few minutes.

Helps cover distracting noises. Had to buy full version to get it to work but glad I did because we use brown noise to mask intrusive sounds in hotels. Saves carrying my sleep noise machine. Good app for us.

Best investment. I have had 3 white noise sound machines from Brookstone ($50.00 each) in the last 17 years and I loved them. But, when the last one broke I found and bought this app. It is everything Brookstone is except it is way cheaper and more portable!! Best $1.99 I ever spent!!

Brown noise. Use brown noise soft to sleep it’ll work for you

Perfect background sound for sleep. No music, note changes, animal or weather sounds. Just steady, smooth white noise. I use the "brown noise soft" setting and turn it up loud enough to block out smaller sounds that would wake me up.

Crap, unless you pay. You have to pay to enable the background audio, otherwise you have to keep your phone screen on all night. I'm deleting it right now.

Timer. The timer does not work properly. No matter what time limit you put it always will count down from 1 hour. A minor inconvenience, but it is quite annoying.

Fantastic. I love the different sound ranges of noise you can choose from. We use the brown noise which is not as high of a pitch as the white noise. It is really soothing and drowns out distracting noises perfectly.

Essential. Sleep Mask has saved me so many times. As someone who is super sensitive to noise while trying to sleep, I set it to "brown noise (soft)", pop some headphones in, and sleep like a baby. Neighbors testing the bass level of their sound system at 11pm? Sleep mask. Dad snoring so loud I can hear it through the walls at my parents house? Sleep mask. Children ruining my pool relaxation time by singing the chorus of a song 100x in a row? Sleep mask. Thank you for helping me cope with other humans.

Won't play noise with other music playing. In every other way I'm happy with this app... but it won't play anything at the same time as another music app. I want to be able to play music at the same time as white noise so I'm feeling very disappointed :(

Great app for years deleting today. My husband and I have use this app for years with great luck. Today after an update it is completely changed will not stay on after the power goes off and you try to purchase it and it tells you your ID is incorrect when it is correct. You've turned a great app into a piece of crap. Too bad.

What happened?. I bought this app a couple years ago and now today all of a sudden it says I have the free version and I have to buy it. Wtf? It shows ads and won't let me use it with the screen off. What a scam!!!
