Missing Issues. New app version removed previously purchased issues. App support said they will no longer be available. Very disappointed.

Are you kidding me???. I am a paid subscriber to the hard copy version of Cottage Journal. Since I travel a lot for work, I stupidly thought that I could also read the iPad version for the same price (which isn't cheap, by the way). I can do this with Southern Living. Why not here? Love the magazine, but paying twice is ridiculous and insulting. Give me a break!!

Don't Purchase Magazines. I recently downloaded 2 magazines and was only able to look at them when they first downloaded. Haven't been able to open them since. Tried customer support but didn't even get a reply.

Cannot access on my iPad!!!. I love this magazine however, I can only read it in my iPhone. The app wants to charge me per issue to read it in my iPad. Cannot open/restore issues. When I try to re-order the subscription it tells me that I already have a subscription. The same happened with my Southern Lady subscription. I’ll probably renew my subscription with Amazon as I have no issues accessing Victoria, Souther Lady, or TeaTime on my Kindle app.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!. I purchased a subscription in May. I cannot “restore” (access, view, etc) any of my issues, even after being on an hour-long chat with Apple. I sent an email to the developer, but since others have gotten no response, I am sure this is just a sad waste of money. However If the developer does not solve this or is non-responsive, I will make sure to follow-up with Apple so they can remove this App from the App Store.

Love the Magazine, App Download Issue. This is a great magazine. I have a paid iTunes subscription for the digital version of the magazine, but the app does not always allow for the download of the magazine or alert me in notifications when there is a new issue. Please fix this issue.

New layout. Beautiful magazine! Sorry, I am not a fan of the new layout for the issue covers. It is confusing. It's challenging to tell what I have access to. I will not renew my subscription.

Won't restore. Love this magazine, but I'm been having a lot of trouble restoring all my purchases. No help from customer services. I want all my magazines back.

Great Magazine. I am not sure why all these reviews are bashing this iPad version of the magazine. Please remember to update your device as recommended. I noticed that the App is buggy right before an update from Apple. The pages are super easy to flip and orient either landscape or portrait. It’s nice to have this lovely magazine in an electronic version. I have no complaints.

Have to pay for everything!. This seems like such a great app! A lot of interesting articles, and aesthetic images. One problem. YOU HAVE TO OAY 10 DOLLARS FOR ONE ARTICLE! I understand having the special edition articles, like romantic cottage, having a price. But Autumn 2020 cottage!? Spring 2019!? Summer 2020?! All of those should be free! I’m not spending 10 dollars on a virtual magazine when I can get a 200 page book for 8 dollars. You might as well have to pay for the app!

Subscribed But Cannot Access. I have been subscribed for the past year and it just auto-renewed. But there is no way to get any issues. I have read the FAQ. Frustrating!

Great magazine, horrible App!. I've been a digital subscriber for a couple of years and love the magazine. The full color large photos are one of the best features! I hate the new layout of the most recent update. Before, I could see the magazines side-by-side which were laid out so I could easily see which ones were downloaded or not. This is important since annual subscriptions don't include special issues. Now, I'm forced to flip through each one - one-at-a-time to see which ones I have or not. It's not convenient. I find myself going back & forth to see which ones I'm missing. And it looks like a cheap, tabloid layout and this magazine is anything but cheap. It should be noted too that print subscribers do not get digital access. I changed it up this year to a print version so I could have the actual magazine too and now I find I have to purchase the digital versions too. Ugh!

Digital Download Issues. Enjoy the magazine & decorating ideas. The digital copy frequently needs to be restored during launching of the application. I have problems reviewing my digital download on my iPad but not on my iPhone which is annoying. The frequently restoring & unable to view my digital copies make it challenging to enjoy the magazines

Can’t read anything. With the latest iOS update, all I gat now is a blank screen. Where are all my purchases?

I love this magazine. This my style, tons of decorating ideas that I love!! I haven’t had a problem looking at the first magazine that I purchased. I noticed some people are having problems accessing. When I got my first issue, it downloaded. I can access it whenever I want the library button. Beautiful magazine!!!

Did not get what I ordered. I tried to use this app a couple of years ago and paid for a subscription. The app kept crashing when “restoring purchases” and I was never able to view the issues and just gave up. Didn’t even bother to get my money back. Well, I come back a couple of years later, install the app on a new iPad Pro hoping it will work. The past issues that I had paid for actually showed up so I decided to go ahead and get another subscription. However, instead of the Fall 2020 issue showing up in my library, I now have the Romantic Cottage issue! My iTunes account is showing a subscription for Cottage Journal so I know I didn’t purchase the wrong thing.

Beautiful, mag; Poor quality app. Titles don't match dates, no comprehensive display of purchased items for such expensive issues. Gimmicky app control at best, scammy at best.

It took too long. Took four months to receive my first issue. Got spring in august. Will I receive fall in December. We will see

No help or response on restore request. I have spent a lot of money buying issues. No problem until the most recent app update now I can't restore a single issue. Can't even read the issue I just purchased. I have sent multiple emails requesting support and have not received a response. It feels like theft. I love the magazine and still have my fingers crossed that I will get the courtesy of a reply
