Where's the sound?. Looks great, but useless without sound.

Improving my timing. I am a visual learner and love this app. The back and forth timing is accurate and it helps to see the movement. Also, I like that you can punctuate the beats by setting the bell tone strikes according to the time signatures. This is helping me correct my timing mistakes and improve my playing. I highly recommend if you need a basic, accurate, and visual metronome. Perfect for my needs at the intermediate piano level.

Okay. Metronome itself is good. Sound needs to be stereo (it's mono now, so it doesn't work on speakers).

Very accurate metronome. This metronome is amazing, looks beautiful and functionality is perfect. I can adjust the tempo easily and the tone is easy to hear when I am practicing my flute or piano. This is just like the $50 metronomes you can buy at the store, so save your money by getting this app.

ok only. Okay but has an annoying anvil sound that cannot be removed even with a premium package.

Ok app, simplistic on features. I currently have Metronome+ and have not noticed any accuracy issues this app alleges others have. Any metronome app should be based on the mobile device's built-in timer, which also runs the device's clock, and is more accurate than any mechanical metronome, so I reject this claim from the developer, unless an app is so CPU-intensive that it causes the device to be "laggy," which I doubt. Additionally, Metronome+ supports accent beats, subdivisions, multiple meters, and multiple beat sounds. TrueMetronome has a single beat and accent sound. But it is free, and Metronome+ is $1.99. For a free app, it's fine, but when the price goes back up, don't believe their claims that this app is somehow superior - there are definitely more capable apps out there.

Terrific Metronome!. One of my favorite features is the bell on the first note; it’s easy to see the exact measure that things start going wonky. I also appreciate that the tempos on the metronome are labeled with both the number of beats per minute and the corresponding word for that tempo.

First class. I have had True Metronome for about five years. The woody sound is quite authentic and has a pleasing timbre. My only wish is that I could change the “ching sound which marks the time signature, but it is okay as it, too, is natural and non-electronic in character . I am a percussionist and it adds another percussive instrument, and I would like to be in control of that. Thank you—it looks beautiful also.

fine. It works fine. It is easy to set and easy to start and stop (though not obvious the first time). However, I accuracy claim seems overblown; I have not noticed any inaccuracy in the other metronome apps I have tried, including Metronome+ and Steinway. Well worth trying, especially if you want a loud, complex tick. I personally prefer Metronome+ because I can tap to set the tempo; a feature I use often. Neither has a silent mode that flashes, which is often nice to have.

Great, simple metronome. I’ve tried a lot of metronomes looking for a simple metronome for my students. This is it. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful. I really enjoy using this metronome. I have a problem with timing when I'm learning a piece so I'm glad I found this. It makes using a metronome fun.

Ok app. the app is just ok as a free app. 2 major problems. No sound if the phone is muted. No sound if connected to dock. Please add more feature and fix those problems

Few Features. This app seems to work well. The app costs a few dollars, but it has hardly any features. I’m disappointed in it and feel like I wasted $3.

Very good. It’s fine for my needs. Only thing- It’s hard to stop it. Other than that I’m happy w’ it. Use it everyday.

Can't make it start. I'm a potato, can't figure out how to make it "tick"

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT SOUND. This is a very well made app. Sound is still clearly audible over the loudest of my instruments. Guys who complain about no sound: turn your ringer off mute. You're welcome.

Outstanding sound. I am a professional classical musician. I have tried well over twenty metronome apps. A few of these have great functions; I still use them. But I've searched in vain for an app that has a sound like the mechanical pendulum metronomes I grew up using. Despite all the sound options offered by many apps, this is the ONLY one I've found that's truly convincing. Excellent. Thank you.

Amazing! Updated with more options. This metronome app is great! I'm so glad it was updated to allow no accent on the down. Makes a major difference for me when working on this huge project of mine. Thank you so much! It's dead on and consistent, unlike all the other metronome app out there, and yeah, I've tried them all.

Perfect simple metronome. I love the simplicity of this metronome and the realistic sound. I have found that paying to get the full capabilities of the app is definitely worth it.

This is my review of your TrueMetronome app.. I’m learning the classical guitar (beginner) and after trying about five other metronome apps, I’ve settled on the TrueMetronome. It is easily the best one I have used (in my limited experience). It has the most realistic sound, looks like a ’real’ metronome and you use it just like the mechanical one - no flashy bells and whistles, pretty colours or annoying sounds. Amazing!!!. TrueMetronome is one of the best apps in the 'music' category I have seen for a while. The beautiful animations and amazing graphics make for a wonderful user experience. The sounds created by the metronome are a perfect match for the iPhone speakers, and the ability to adjust the speed of the metronome is also great. Timing made easy. Over the corse of my music making life, I've learned to play the piano, I learned all the notes, perfected some songs and preformed numerous times. The one thing I actually had lots of trouble with was timing, then one day I was surfing the internet on my iPod touch and found the app "true metronome" I downloaded the app and it has helped me in so many ways! On the other hand it took me a while to understand all of its utilities, going back to my first point, I recommend this app to any musician or people who like random ticking!
