Why can’t I swipe anymore?. I have been using this app for years and have loved it. I am not on social media and this app is how I share pictures of my son with far away family members. Family loves the app because they can order prints easily. The most recent update took away the ability to swipe left and right in a photo album to go from one picture to the next. You now have to click on a photo to see a full version but then close the photo and click on the next to continue looking at pictures in the album. Why on earth would it ever make sense to remove the ability to swipe and scroll through your pictures? The update has turned one of my favorite apps into something that is basically useless. I’m going to start looking for a different option to share photos if this is not fixed.

Messages unreadable. We use this site/app to help organize a baseball team. I have not had any issues with the web site on my computer, but the app is cumbersome for showing availability for games/ practices, and worthless for messages. I get an notification on my phone that the coach has sent a message, click on the message, and it is blank. I then go to the website, have to navigate that with my phone (it’s not configured for mobile devices), in order to read a message. In the app, in order to show availability, I have to go to the calendar, click on an event, select availability, make my choice, click back to go to the event, click back to go to the calendar, select the next event date, select availability, and make my selection. Very, very time consuming. Especially knowing that in the website you can go to the availability page and make all of your selections there. After a few years of fumbling through with this app, our team is going to be using a different app to organize our team. Maybe, if the issues are fixed, we will come back, but with all of the issues we’ve had....

Great Group Schedule Organizer. We have been using Shutterfly since 2015 to organize our calendar & volunteer schedule for our Cub Scout Den. The event info is easy to access & participants can choose to auto sync info to their personal mobile calendars. We create a yearbook each year with uploaded event photos. Great tool for communication, organization & photo memory storage. There can be glitches from time to time, but easily remedied by uploading current app update and/or mobile device settings.

Worthless app. I upload my albums from my P\C. It was a struggle to figure out, but at least I can share my albums there with no issues. But using the app has no value to me or those I want to share my photos with. My prologues to each album are not accessible on the app, it tells a short story about the album; if you turn your device horizontal for a larger view of the photo, the description covers the photo defeating the purpose; if you copy and paste your descriptions from another source, like FaceBook, hidden characters appear and can not be deleted; my friends must login to access the app, which defeats my purpose of leaving FaceBook. Think I will delete the app and recommend to my followers that they just use the web for access.

Please allow easy scrolling through pics. At some point with a new update you can not scroll through the pictures. You can see the small thumbnail ones in an album but when you select a picture you can not scroll through full size. You used to be able to do this - kind of like a slide show. If you want people to get excited about pictures, let them see them. The app is nice to be able to communicate with a team and share pictures.

Picture upload is awful. I’ve used Shutterfly for years and lately the picture upload process is just awful. It won’t let you select more than a certain amount of pictures. Selecting the actual pictures is annoying. You used be able to drag and select multiple photos at a time, now you have to go one by one and most of the time when you have to tap the photo multiple times in order for it to actual select the picture. The ironic part is this is a photo company.

What happened to this app. I have used this app with my families at preschool for 3 years. Loved it. Now, I cannot get it to work anymore. The Mobil doesn’t show you the same stuff that it does on the computer and is so limited. I am the app owner and can’t do anything unless I sign in with my computer. Parents have stopped using it because it is so limiting and allows them hardly any ability to see all the cool things I put on the computer version. I am going to have to look for a different way to share photos with parents next year. Which is really sad because this was so easy and simple before. And parents purchased things too. But now it’s like you traded a computer for a useless brick.

Latest Update Ruined Calendar. The app was glitchy to begin with but somewhat functional. Many parents are unable to update availability for games through the ap and they don’t see updated schedule changes. Even with those frustrations l, we were making it work by sending separate emails (more work on our end). Now, with the latest update, the calendar and dates are all wrong which will further confuse player’s parents. Please fix this issue asap!

Has Potential. My pictures uploaded easily from my phone and I like that I can access them quickly from the app. For the app to be great, more options are needed. I would like to be able to sort the order of the photos and easily send them to my personal Shutterfly account from the app. I’m sure there are other ideas that would make the app more visually attractive and enable functions that moms would enjoy like a memories from this date in previous years section. Overall, I do appreciate the app and how easy it makes uploading pics from our field trips and community days.

Worked well until latest iOS update to 13. This app WAS great! I could upload photos from my phone onto the my teacher site with ease. Now, since updating my phone to iOS 13, I am only able to see less than 10 of the pictures on my phone when I go to add pictures to my site. And he pictures I can see are from last year!?! I don’t get it. I deleted the app and re-downloaded but I am still having the same issue. Please fix!! It’s very inconvenient now to alway upload using my computer.

Could be better. I’ve been using this app for years and it has improved a lot though still lacking. I’ve never had this happen, but this year the calendar suddenly stopped showing the correct dates. Everything was off for the last 2 weeks of the softball season and I had to resort to sending individual messages for everything. The messages can’t be formatted. It changes the format you start with to a continuous string of sentences so it’s useless. I reached out about the calendar issue and have yet to hear a response. Great idea, but still so many issues that create more work if you’re using it for an activity with schedules and changes. Better for a family site or something that doesn’t need frequent and timely communication.

Not up to Shutterfly’s Standards. When I update my ShareSites on the website, everything looks great. The links are clickable and everything works great. When it is sent to the app, everything gets jumbled up. You can’t read the message board. The links that embed in the messages are not clickable. And, there doesn’t seem to be a way to make changes to what is seen in the app. Documents and links don’t show. Also, what is the videos part of the app for? I love Shutterfly and Shutterfly share sites and I have been using them for years – but this app needs some help.

Easy to use. This app allows your Shutterfly site to be at your fingertips at all times. I use it for team communication. Post practice times, update tournament locations, and set-up snack sign-up for tournaments. It also lets me know when a parent or player has any questions. It is easy and convenient to use. It just takes a little time to learn how to use it.

Needs improvement. Love the convenience and concept of this. Have used it for years and recently there are many glitches. Can’t see all of my sites on the app. This one is the most annoying. I refresh and force close. Sometimes it works other times it doesn’t. Second most annoying is that it duplicates the pictures. I put new pics up everyday. On Tuesday when I upload app duplicates Monday’s pics. By Friday I have 5 copies of Monday’s pics... this is only on my app not on website or any other users app so it is NOT me duplicating them. Super annoying. Can’t add pictures to an album. Can’t see current members. Doesn’t function unless you’re on WiFi which is also annoying. I do love the convenience and hope they can work out these glitches soon.

Scrolling feature now gone :-(. ShareSites used to allow you to scroll through pictures inside of an album by just swiping across the screen on my phone or tablet. With the latest updates you cannot do this. If you are viewing a picture, the only way to get to the next picture in the album is to go back to the thumbnails and select the next picture from there. Very unusable now. I will be looking for other means to share my pictures.

Share Site is convenient. I like the fact that you can swiftly download an album to Shutterfly with one click and in a matter of seconds the photos are available. Just realized that his lately. I used to download a group of 5-15 photos at a time and it took so long. However, I also just got an iPhone 13 and things are fast.

Yearbook disaster!. Our school is signed how you lifetouch and they use Shutterfly to collect pictures. In testing the app out we realized that all the restrictions we setup such as restricting downloads and sharing of pictures only works when you are on desktop/laptop. If you have the app you can DL and share everyone’s pictures!! In today’s world why would anyone think it’s ok to allow open DL of children’s pictures??? Need to put in a fix to allow committees to restrict usage of mobile app (ie parents have to login via desktop/lapto), until the security issue is resolved.. Gave 2 stars because the app has potential..

Swipe to Scroll Feature is AWOL.. Not sure why it happened but since a recent update I am no longer able to scroll through the pictures. Instead, I have to close out and click on the next picture which is cumbersome and makes it difficult to view the pictures. If you can reconfigure things back to how you used to have it, that would be great. Otherwise, except for an occasional glitch, I have been satisfied with the Sharesites function. JW, Sonoma County

Busy Mom. I really appreciate the reminders and the groups updates from the share site. I feel like I am kept up to date with everything with my daughters Girl Scout group and her dance group. I would not be able to keep up with phone calls or group texts. The Share Site keeps me updated!

Shared sites not shown. This app worked great for accessing my kids’ preschool’s share site... until it didn’t. About a week after using it it suddenly stopped allowing me to access the site. I can still access the site on the web and have verified that I’m still a member, so the fact that I can’t access through the app is really frustrating. There also isn’t a way to search for the share site via the app - it’s says I need to accept an invite, which might work great if I weren’t already a member. I don’t know what gives. Would appreciate a developer reach out with a solution.

Suddenly not working properly - disappointed with this app!. This app always had its flaws, but just recently it really went down the drain....suddenly I can’t see names of volunteers and in the news section, the posts are cut off and you cannot read them in their entirety. Seems like there needs to be an update to fix these bugs! It’s is very frustrating to use and then to have to login to the website - which also has its flaws, just to complete a task. Please update and fix these problems!!

Great concept...... The app needs a lot of work. I frequently have trouble uploading photos. I have been trying to upload the same 15 photos to a new album for 2 weeks. I have restarted that process more than 3 times now and they still haven't uploaded. I have also invited five family members to share my site with and they say they have all accepted the invitation (I have now sent to them twice) but it shows they have not and they are unable to view photos

Grandchildren on Shutterfly. One of the unique pleasures of grandparent-hood, if you’ll allow me to make up words, is to see your grandkids grow before your eyes. Back in the day, photographs were made from “snapshots” taken on special occasions. Today, our grandchildren are live on Shutterfly...no developing required. Shutterfly provides an appreciated service and has done so for more than 20 years. We tend to look at technological advances and “ ho-him” the next iteration in a constantly changing medium. Every now and then, you have to stop taking everything for granted and pay homage to something that has improved the quality of life, at no apparent cost, to the lucky viewer. New Availability “Upgrade”. Must say since our organization has downloaded the newest version with the availability piece upgraded we have had nothing but problems. Access to update a kids status was basically lost to the majority of our organization. Only those with the previous version had the ability to update, otherwise all status updates have had to be funneled through that parent who did not upgrade. No bueno. Hearing complaints from 100 parents isn’t my idea of a good time. Please fix the bug or give us access to back out to the previous version which had its problems but never this far reaching or damaging. Sad in Pasadena.

Sharing Shutterfly. I have just started using the Shutterfly share site and I have enjoyed getting pictures uploaded onto the site. I have run into a problem when I invite people to become membership my photo albums. The invite emails are not going to the people that I want to share with. I have not been able to figure out how that works. Not user friendly on the sharing part. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or not. That is why I am giving it a 3. If/when I figure out how to actually share the site the rating will improve.

Teacher. I love Shutterfly. It’s a great way to communicate with Parents. But lately, I’m having a lot of problems downloading pictures to change my home page pictures. I use share sites to down load pictures but they’re not allowing it anymore. It’s frustrating.

Clunky, but has some abilities others don’t. Uploading pics in the app is tedious, have to tap each pic individually to select, would be nice to be able to select a range. The app doesn’t even use the Album order that is setup on website. I took the time to organize my Albums into a logical order, but they become hard to find from the app cuz they are random, or only based on ‘last updated’. You can create Albums from the app, but cannot assign a thumbnail pic, & cannot organize pics.

Experienced share site user. It works but could be SO MUCH better. When adding volunteer positions, as an administrator, or sign up lists it would be great to be able to chose the order. Instead it only shows up in the order you type it. Thus, if you need to add a 2nd slot for a position you already have, it puts it all the way to the bottom. Also the desk top display and Mobil are SO different. Some good and some bad. Not being able to have more control stinks.

Long Time Shutterfly User - Love Mobile Share. I have been a Long Time (over 10 years) Shutterfly user and been satisfied that whole time. I’ve found the mobile Shutterfly share site and excellent way to show any of the multiple share sites I have created over the years. It is very easy for non-Shutterfly users to be able to quickly scroll through a volume of pictures. I do wish it had a search and sort feature but for ease of use it is excellent.

The pluses and minuses. The best feature of the phone app is that it is easy to upload photos from your phone into an album. The biggest drawback is that you cannot rearrange or delete photos once they are inside the album. You have to go back onto your main device to edit for any reason.

Great web tool, sub par app. I really love Shutterfly’s shared site tool. I’ve been using it for several years to keep my daughters Girl Scout troop organized. It’s not a perfect fit, but it really is a great tool to keep parents informed and information at their fingertips. Helps with communication and overall success of our troop. Unfortunately the app sometimes create major issues… It is so buggy and it doesn’t feel like it has been updated in forever, it isn’t accurate and doesn’t reflect the web tool. I’ve had numerous parents say that they don’t get updates, say that they enter information that never shows up on the web tool… The syncing between the web tool and the app is awful and therefore I’m getting close to just telling everyone not to use the app. Shutterfly, please fix this app… It really is helpful when it’s working and your shared sites are so great for youth activities. I love being able to post all of the pictures from a given event and my parents can see them print them and do whatever they need to with them… But this app is just bad.

Great stuff. The Shutterfly application is awesome for the iPhone. I really enjoy the web part of it but the iPhone takes it to another level One thing I would ask is on the roster you're unable to sort on the iPhone app by player number. Most the time when you're watching sporting event you look at the number first and then say who is that. If you could get that straightened out that would be very helpful for this application for anyone using this for sports

First time user. When teams are ghosting each-other on the “Book”, it caused us huge coms problems. Missed games, long night drives too late and tired to prepare cook and clean before getting everyone to bed, missing players, forfeited games cause someone got the Covid sniffles and missed test day at school 12 days ago but can’t play the last game of the tournament,…..kind of coms with coach and team leaders and players and super parent fans. We’re just trying to coordinate a non-profit community game. share ideas central to an easy to use, you’re already staring at your phone, how much did this cost?,. Easy, centralized communication. Coach was very responsive. Purchased beautiful treasured photos taken by the catchers Mom. Parents of young athletes wishing to be informed on a secure platform is a must. We didn’t win all our games but we were never the reason one couldn’t be played because of miscommunication.

Thank God for Shutterfly.. I Just Wish Shutterfly was back on the ROKU TV Devices. It is one of the Greatest Websites to Store Pictures for Future Reference to Later make up Picture Album Photo Books, add pictures to all kind of items, etc. Please stay the same way and do not let other websites purchase you. Disabled Vietnam Military Veteran. What a great internet website to upload pictures for Future use and other Relatives and Friends to use pictures as they wish.

No longer uploads from phone. This was a great app that I was able to share easily with family and friends... until it stopped working. There hasn’t been an update for 2 months and it won’t upload photos anymore. I’ve tried deleting the app, signing out and in... and the website is no help. Shutterfly is quickly falling behind with its issues and lack of custom service. I always make a family calendar and we always order about 10, this year actual dates from the year were missing and the rep said to change the start date, which sure helped the issue but I didn’t want that start date AND it kicked some of my pictures out of the calendar dates, losing hours of work!!

Long time user. We’ve been using Shutterfly for many years now, for sports teams, class groups and more. Our kids were in kindergarten or so when we first started using this app and now my oldest is in 8th grade. Through the years we’ve grown and this app should too. There should be the capability to have notices sent to the players email. As they get older, they are able to check their own messages and utilize the site as well, not only the parents.

Calendar Synch Issue. RESOLVED: the times are synching correctly now. Thank you for fixing it!! I have used Shutterfly shared site many times to communicate with others. I recently noticed that the calendar time when synched to the iPhone is 8 hours earlier. For instance, a practice this is at 4pm, is showing up on iPhone calendars as 8am. I have looked everywhere both on the phone and desktop and can’t find out how to resolve this.

Update somewhat better. It appears the scrolling feature is back on the albums which I am grateful for. I have now noticed you are no longer able to focus on a picture when you select it - meaning you can’t hide the “See it as a gift” line featured at the bottom of the picture when viewing pictures. You can hide this only when selecting pictures in your News section. If you view pictures from your album it will not allow you to hide the “See it as a gift” line. Please fix!!

Needs native Pad support. Just to be clear, this is an iPhone app, that can run on an iPad, but the experience is pretty dismal. You can have one iOS binary support iPhone and iPad natively. It’s not hard. This would provide your iPad users a much better UX experience. I can’t even run this app in landscape mode on my iPad. Only portrait. Sad… Otherwise functionality is ok. It can use a UX designers input. It shouldn’t be hard to do. If you need, I can write it for you.

Pretty basic and that's awful.. I'm sure a teenager could make a better app. This one is clunky, doesn't allow you to select a picture (have tried multiple methods and I still can't get a picture saved in Shutterfly and showing up in this app to select). The look is basic as well. Would be nice to be able to look at a bigger version of people's profile pictures as I am trying to put names to faces on the team. Overall I would say there are better apps out there.

Glitchy app. It worked ok at first then came the frustrations. Unable to use certain features I once could was how it started. Then unable to upload pictures, this happened to several people in our group not just me. My final frustration is now the calendar section is unusable! The dates don’t line up correctly with the days of the week so trying to figure out what is actually scheduled on a day is difficult. Adding an event is next to impossible. The calendar issue is also an issue for more than just me. Wasn’t thrilled with the app to begin with but now I really can’t stand it. Will be looking at a new one for our group soon.

A big help!. I’m a camp counselor for 8 weeks during the summer. I take a lot of photos of the campers, which do to privacy rules had to be sent individually to parents. That took so much effort and time! I researched the best photo share sites and Shutterfly was recommended by teachers. I liked the fact that one can write a blog describing what happened each day and upload 100s of photos quickly and easily, placing them in albums. Photos can be tagged and labeled. It was also easy to invite the parents to join my photo site- you just needed to know their preferred email. I’ve had nothing but positive comments from the parents. I am very happy I found this site!

Worst update ever. I’ve been using this app for 5 years...it was always a bit clunky but generally just fine for sharing pictures with family. They recently removed the functionality that you could pick a folder from which to upload your photos...I used to save my favorites then do a quick upload every few weeks to keep family up to date. Now you can only choose all photos to upload from...meaning I have to search through every photo (again) to upload the best ones. It doesn’t even let you see which ones are favorited on your phone. Such a terrible user experience!! Please revert this change ASAP. I don’t have the patience to use this app with the new update and will be taking my photo sharing elsewhere if this is not reverted.

Crashes trying to view photos. On my old iPhone and new iPhone 12, Share Sites freezes and then crashes every time I try to view photos from my daughter’s class share site. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it hasn’t helped. Upgrading iPhones didn’t solve it. And moving to iOS 14 didn’t solve it. Now no longer able to view photos from phone. Additionally, the app is incompatible with Dark Mode. Anything written in the journal is just a solid black rectangle. I have to switch off dark mode to make the text visible.

Longtime user (10 years). Love the share sites and the app is OK. But this season has been a cluster! Availability function doesn’t work. Families put in their availability and it doesn’t save. Although the desktop version shows their availability. So basically the app is useless because to check everyone’s availability I have to go on to desktop site. And all the families have to do the same. I’ve complained about it multiple times and If it’s not fixed I’ll have to switch to a competitor next season. A shame.

Great organizer. I have been using Shutterfly for coaching my kids sports and for being team mom. I don’t have to remember to send out reminders about games and snacks. The site does all for you. Uploading photos from my cell phone is faster than the desktop computer. Overall I would recommend this App. I am planning to use it for our family’s spring vacation trip to share photos.

So clunky and difficult to use. If you enter an album and want to go back to the main page of all albums, it takes you back up to the very beginning. The shared site we are a part of has a ton of albums and for some reason the ones that concern me are towards the very end so I have to scroll frantically each time I want to move between albums. Plus, you used to be able to save the photos to your phone album, and with the new update you are no longer able to do so. I get that they're trying to make money with prints but no one is going to want to print every single photo, and if anything this is making me less willing to do so.

Incomplete & Lost some key functions. The app is worthless when trying to communicate with a classroom. The pages do not include all the Information on the regular share site. Most parents prefer the convenience of the app but then miss key details, like volunteer information. The app became less user friendly with the recent update. You can no longer scroll through photos in an album by side swiping. Instead each photo much be opened and closed. Photo uploading has become a much slower process as well. The concept is fantastic and a great convenience, but the latest update was a step in the wrong direction.

Needs updating!. I’ve used this for a few years now to share photos with parents for my classroom. The calendar, volunteer, and notes sections are great. I can upload newsletters, share contact info, etc. Lately uploading pictures are a pain. I’ve sent feedback to Shutterfly but received nothing back. It’s been over a week of the app saying the pictures are uploading!! My parents are wanting to see pictures of a Field Trip and activities we’ve done in class. I’ll be using a different app next year for sure.

Very poor. Either this app doesn't do what the claim, or the staff at shutterfly are useless. I tried using it for an existing site I have but only one photo showed. I couldn't work out how to get more content show , and after several support requests to shutterfly, looks like you can't.

Works for me. I am able to share photos directly from my iPhone to my shutter fly share website. Does not seem to work from iPad though.

Update sucks. I loved this app until I updated it. Now I can’t upload photos from my phone to my site. This defeats the point if the app. I would add photos to share with family and have them available to order things from if necessary.

Love it. My sons sports team is using it, its great for keeping track of whats going on.

Keeps shutting down. I am unable to auto load my photos as the app keeps shutting down when I click on automatic upload. Hope someone can help me resolve this as I love Shutterfly!

Great App. We've created a site for each class in our lower school. It's a great way to keep families up to date with what's happening at school and the directory helps parents get in touch with each other, Everyone loves having easy access to all the photos taken at school. I just wish that I could make more edits from within the app like adding photos to student profiles or updating contact information. I would also like to see the release of a proper iPad app. S I don't have to enlarge the iPhone version.

Error. Can't create an account without getting an error. Then it becomes inoperable showing a window saying creating account. It's a safe bet it doesn't take several hours to do it. Only way to unfreeze it is to delete it. Tried it several times with the same result.

Good app. Very useful app to organize and keep the communication channels open for our soccer team. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because the app is not optimized for the iPad!!!!!!!, I'm not sure why its not ;-), can there be an update with iPad optimization? Thank you.

Great. Nice

Availability does not sync. Love the site, love “most” features of the app and the customizability for our team, BUT THE APP’s AVAILABILITY FUNCTION DOES NOT SYNC PROPERLY WITH THE APP. It is difficult to organize various events when you cannot see the availability on the app. I cannot always get to my computer, which accurately shows availability. It seemed to be fixed, then it stopped again! Very intermittent, and very annoying!

Frustrating. Since updating to iOS 7, it won't let me sign in. Hoping this is a bug that will be fixed soon!!

Needs one thing to be perfect. Overall good app to manage my kids soccer team. Nice integrated calendar and roster. FAQ needs to be updated so the user knows what functionality they will get based on the event type chosen on calendar, i.e. 'Game' allows user to update availability and snack schedule but 'General' is a very basic event with neither function. To make the app perfect allow the Team Admin to create events and reminder notifications. All events created in the app has zero set for reminder email notification to the team by default. You can only change this setting on the browser site. Please fix.

Bugs in iOS 8 - can't download. When I download the App it does not complete the installation. When I click on delete to try to download it again, it does not delete. Stuck in a loop... MAS

Convenient & Easy to Use. Well thought out.

Won't let me create an account. It would be nice if I could create an account to use this app. All I get is an http error and a message that says cannot create an account. When you press ok it starts trying to create an account with no password and just starts an endless loop without doing anything.

Can't log in.. Used to work fine but with IOS7, it won't let me signed in. I get stuck into an endless loop, when will this bug be fixed?

Calendar is wrong. The calendar has been wrong for half my team for over two weeks now and they can’t seem to fix it. Today is Sunday but Shutterfly says today is Saturday- it is one day behind on everything in our team calendar. We used to love this app for team sports, but this defeats the purpose because with the wrong day showing everyone is mixed up on practices and events.

Player availability on the app is now completely broken!. The app has been very reliable for many years but recently it stopped displaying and recording player availability… One can still use the Shutterfly share site web interface, but the app is completely nonfunctional for player availability. PLEASE FIX!!!

Great App for Team Site!. Very impressed with the app thus far and the ease of use to set-up and manage. My only wish is that the Scoreboard from the desktop version can be added to the app as well and also the ability to upload videos directly from the phone app rather than having to do so through the desktop site. All in all though, I would recommend this app to anyone managing a team/group/etc...

Cool!!!!. This app is really great for sharing photos. I am a not big fan of this kind of application but this has changed my mind. It needs some improvements and I'm sure the developers will do their best.

Fix The New Update!. I absolutely LOVE this app and share site for sharing team photos. I HATE the new update. This needs to be fixed. People can no longer swipe left or right to look at photos in an album, you have to click on each picture individually. It’s horrible. I use this site for team photo sharing and then make photo books for the team at the end of the season. It make for one easy stop for all my picture and photo book needs. I have ordered over 30 books in the last two months...please fix this horrible update!!!!

Issues checking out. Ordered prints App worked, 29 minutes later tried to order more prints app keeps telling me to try later! 2 Days Still sane Issues, My app is updated my OS updated now after waiting 2 days Shutterfly support tells me that maybe App & OS not Updated 😡👎 then they tell me to Delete App and Reinstall App!😡 WTH? And my 27 prints in my cart 🛒?? Maybe Shutterfly tech supporter should do their job and fix the problem on their end! They even suggested that I don’t have enough memory (128GB)! Maybe they should stop blaming the problem on the user! App was working 20 prior but 2nd time I wanted to place another order App stopped working!😡😡👎

Very convenient and useful.. What an awesome site. I can easily share my photos with my friends and family.

Need to fix bugs. Good app but since updating, the comments and like buttons don't work anymore on iPhone 6.

Glitchy. I found it quite good in the past however this year the site has not allowed me to post photos and now it won’t let access photos already posted!! This defeats the purpose of the site for me!

Calendar feature is not working. The calendar is the most important feature for our team. For some reason as of 2 weeks ago the days of the week don’t match the actual date, so it’s useless. I have to confirm dates and times via email which defeats the purpose of having the app. Will have to use a different app next year.

Browsing Albums. So far the most recent update has been disappointing. I’m not able to browse within an album by swiping left or right. I have to view each image within an album one by one (tap to view, exit, tap to view, exit, and so on). Very frustrating. Please fix ASAP!!!

Kindergarten teacher. An awesome tool for the classroom. I love that I can easily access site and send messages and calendar updates through my phone and tablet. Parents love getting the text reminders.

App support came through :). A few days after calling app support and being told they would talk to the development team about my issues (the app started out great, but stopped working after an update - ie would not launch /would shut down when I tried to sign in and even after uninstalling/reinstalling the app) it works again!! A new update was released that fixed the problem and it's been working well ever since!!

Doesn't work!. Clunky and not user friendly. Doesn't sync with desktop.

Not too bad. Would be nice if the app allowed a fingerprint password instead of typing it in. Also seems to be missing the ability to post messages to a shared board.

It was helpful. Just this year I have played rep basketball and my coach used shutter fly and it told us all about the games practices and everything we need to know about it it was vary helpful

Very Disappointed Shutterfly. Adding new album is ridiculous. If you don’t add a photo right away you will lose the album because you cannot select all photos you want to add to the album. Nice to have all sites at your fingertips but I’ll stick to the old method until Shutterfly makes improvements. As I said, very disappoint. Not the Shutterfly I have been used to for many years.

One major flaw. I really like the layout, but it's really frustrating that you can't see the captions that the site owners put with the pictures. It makes it no different from the other shutterfly apps. It is the main reason I deleted this app.

Quite Happy. Since the iOS 7 upgrade I have not been able to log in.... app needs in update !!! Prior to ios7 this app was great - my only real complaint is that I can't see the sched outside of 2 months.... and for some reason whenever I add a game to the calendar via the app (as opposed to the website) the 24 hour 'reminder' email doesn't work. Otherwise this app is a great addition to the whole Shutterfly Sharesite system, which I have used for several years for several teams coaching several different sports !!

Almost there. I have used Shutterfly & it's share sites in the past and have always had a good experience. I will continue to use Shutterfly but am hoping the following suggestions can be incorporated into the next app update: 1) ability to choose whether or not to import photos from the app with file names and/or the time stamp. After I imported pics from the app & attempted to sort the photos... The only sorting option was by date and a large number of my photos had the same date which basically meant that the sorting function was useless. If the file name & date stamp were included it would be much easier to find duplicates and the photos would likely be imported in the correct order.

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Needs update. It won’t let me add photos anymore. It just says loading and never actually loads the pictures into the site. Even if i close the app and restart it. The only thing that works is deleting the app and reinstalling it. But this has happened multiple times and I’m sick of reinstalling the app every time it doesn’t work. If the app was fixed I would change my rating to 5 stars but currently this is too inconvenient when I have to use this app for work everyday.

Computer version is perfect. App needs work. There’s 2 big issues I have with the app. First, the calendar won’t allow to sync with iOS calendar. Second, there’s no options for push notifications and instant notifications for the message board of the app. People don’t know there’s a msg and for “sports” or team use, parents need to be able to get a notifications that the coach or manager posted to msg board.

Can’t get photos from iPhone. I started a share. site because a fellow teacher said how easy it was. I am sorry I did. It won’t show my photos that are on my phone so I can’t download them to the site for my parents to see. I called customer service, what a joke. After being on hold for a long time, the best they could tell me is that I have to download the photos I want to post to the basic Shutterfly app, then get on my laptop and transfer them over to the share site. Not worth it!

Great for teams!. I’ve used this app for years to share all the baseball and football team pics- all the parents can order their own and share and they love it!

Just okay. Love the ability to access everything from one app (calendar, roster, pictures, etc) BUT hate that the app crashes if I try to access previous dates on calendar. It also takes between 1-4 attempts to edit whether or not we are available for upcoming scheduled events. Great concept but lacking functionality.

Unstable recently. Been using this app for the better part of six years. In the last couple weeks all of my data including my roster was obliterated. Messaging is now unstable and messages occasionally get sent via email whereas before they were automatically sent to the parent members. Calendar entries get wiped out. I would have recommended this app before but given the difficulties I’ve had for the last five weeks, I question of wanting to use this right now.

I love Shutterfly BUT. This app is buggy as cow turds in the summer sun. If I try to upload ~15 photos at a time to an album I’ll get (for example) 3 copies of one photo, 2 copies of two other photos and maybe 4 of another, plus a half dozen or so single copies of photos but then 2-3 of my photos won’t upload at all. It makes uploading photos from a big trip a nearly impossible task that (best case scenario) takes hours of work.

Needs improvements on app. Works fine on laptop, but calendar is a day off and availability isn’t stored or shared with laptop version. If you actually hit on the event it will show correctly, but overview on calendar is not right. Essentially not useful for my players as everyone lives on their phone. Only can se to send out email reminders.

Doesn’t work in landscape. So this app would be 5 stars if when you turned your phone to landscape mode, the picture would fill the screen — which I think it used to do. But without that basic feature, this app is annoying to use. Since most photos are landscape (for me at least) I only see them at a fraction of the size they could be. Shutterfly!! This is a huge miss. Please fix ASAP.

Needs. It needs a scroll function instead of having to click back in and out of the pictures. It also needs to be able to get to the shopping cart without having to go out and come all the way back in.

Disappointing share sites are terminating. I built quite a few share sites over the years to share kids pictures across many teams and and school events. Now they will all disappear. I went with shutterfly figuring it would be around a long time. It’s pretty much a betrayal of promises made. The many people who had long term access to photos no longer will.

Love It. Have loved using this as my classroom website. Great way for parents to have info and photos at their fingertips. Have also used for family reunions. Great way for us all to share without using social media.

Worthless for iPad. I like Shutterfly Share Sites. Have used them for years for sports teams, fine arts groups, and family. It would be great to have a nice app to access them from an iPad. This ain’t it. It was clearly developed for use on a phone being held vertically. This is “compatible” with an iPad if you consider looking at a phone on your iPad compatible. I keep checking to see if they’ve considered tablets (held in landscape) in their design updates. They haven’t. Alas, still have to use a regular web page.

Cannot Swipe. For the love of everything good why would you get rid of being able to swipe left and right while looking at photos?! My kids teams use this to share with parents instead of putting on social media. Now, we have to close a picture to look at another picture. Please fix! Currently, parents and players are asking for us to find another avenue to be able to share photos because this is such a pain.

Great for sports teams. Love the ease of use for this app HOWEVER the newest update jacked up the calendar. The calendar is WRONG. The dates do not go along with the proper day of the week. I’ve contacted Shutterfly multiple times and have yet to receive any response. I may have to switch over to another app for my team. Sadly.

Worked well until latest iOS update to 13. This app WAS great! I could upload photos from my phone onto the my teacher site with ease. Now, since updating my phone to iOS 13, I am only able to see less than 10 of the pictures on my phone when I go to add pictures to my site. And he pictures I can see are from last year!?! I don’t get it. I deleted the app and re-downloaded but I am still having the same issue. Please fix!! It’s very inconvenient now to alway upload using my computer.

Overall great. I love using this app but ever since I updated my phone I can’t post photos from my recents photo album and to post the pictures I want I have to delete all my albums to get to them! I really hope you guys can fix this because it’s a real pain!!

Used to work better. Uploading pictures from my iPhone used to work well enough (though it would occasionally hang and lose track of what I selected), but now... wow, I wait at least a minute for the pictures to even show up to be selected, and then maybe selecting works or not. What happened?!?? — update: figured out that I have to tap slightly to the left of the selection icon

Girl Scouts. Alright, when I want to check my calendar for girls scouts it shows me everything and no waiting, I love it and it is so useful because I don’t now how to do some to I and how to ask so I use this to talk to my coach and find out what I missed

Calendar is Broken!. The dates and days are shifted on the calendar so an event on Saturday, 4/16 shows Saturday 4/15 in the calendar view, but says Friday, 4/15 in the list view. This has caused endless confusion and frustration for my team and resulted in us having to go back to mass emails. Incidentally, the browser site still is correct so it’s just the buggy app that has the problem. No response from customer support. I’ll never use Shutterfly team sites again.

Not user friendly. I installed because my sons football booster uses it for everything. I created an account but now I need another app to purchase things from the football team. And yet sign in again. I couldn’t find anything from my football team on it. On this app, the news is linked to the calendar and vice versa. What is the point to tell me the same thing in two different places. The app is pointless as less than 10% of the info on the site is in the app.

App keeps kicking me out of share site. The app was awesome when it worked. It won’t let me see my share site anymore, so I have to log-in (super annoying). I don’t get push notifications anymore, and the web browser doesn’t support one touch actions like the app UXI does. Please fix.

Ok. Great for viewing photos! Not for printing. Should not be this difficult to maneuver to print photos. Currently you must copy the album/photos to the actual Shutterfly site then print them. You cannot do that from a cell phone. Also, unable to create a photo book in this way as well. I love Shutterfly in general but this needs work.

Updated, now it won’t work. I did the recent updates for iOS 11 or whatever this last one was. I’ve been using the share sites for my Girl Scout troop for over a year and love the message boards as a means of communication. Since the update, I am unable to respond to anything through my phone. I can type the message, but the send button doesn’t work. Please fix this, I can’t function like this and will have to switch to another app :(

Spotty Behavior Makes it Unusable. The app keeps flipping between showing me the relevant share sites I need access to, and nothing at all. It’s very unreliable and causing my little league to migrate away to a different service. If it’s not dead-simple to use, parents and families won’t use it. The service has been amazing in years past and we’ve really gotten a lot out of it before, but the app has really fallen off recently in terms of reliability.

Great for Class Page. Love using the share site feature of Shutterfly for my families every year! I think my favorite part is that it is free and allows families to use the photos to create custom albums, etc.

When will the calendar bug be fixed?. When the formatting of messages was lost in the app, I rolled with it. When emails stopped posting to the message board, I made adjustments. Now the calendar is off by one day in the app! Posting a 1 star review to encourage Shutterfly to fix these critical issues with the app. As a coach, when it’s working properly, the Shutterfly share site and app are huge assets to my sports teams.

App Doesn’t Work & Good Luck with Browser. Downloaded this app to access our classroom ShareSite. I am on day 2 and still can’t login to the app without receiving the message, “Error - It looks like we’re having technical difficulties. Please re-login”. I figured it was just me, but my husband can’t either. We created profiles on the web browser and then tried creating new accounts with new emails to see if that would work...nice dice. I can’t access anything our teacher posts unless I login from a desktop computer. Useless!

Glitchy and unusable 80% of the time. About 80% of the time I open the app it doesn’t recognize my login and gives an error when I click the reset password link. So I can’t access the site when I need to. Then, unprovoked, it will work fine the other 20% of the time with the same login and password I’ve been using the whole time. Multiple resets, delete app/redownloads have not helped. It will probably give an error when I submit this review.

New update isn’t helpful. The new version doesn’t allow me to swipe right and left to look through all photos in an album. I have to close each picture and select a new one each time. For sports parents using this app to share photos, it makes it really inconvenient to view them. I would have given the older version more stars, but this new version only gets 2 stars due to the inconvenience of viewing photos.

Please fix!. I use to rave about how amazing this app is. However, with the latest update I can not upload pictures from my device on to the my shared sites. This is very frustrating as I have two classrooms I am constantly loading pictures for. I am having to log into the website instead of through the app to upload the pictures. And as you know that takes much longer. Please fix this!!!

The pluses and minuses. The best feature of the phone app is that it is easy to upload photos from your phone into an album. The biggest drawback is that you cannot rearrange or delete photos once they are inside the album. You have to go back onto your main device to edit for any reason.

Why!!??. Can someone please explain to me why in the world you would would remove the ability to scroll through pictures in an album. You have to open and close each picture one at a time! I have no idea how someone could think this was better? Sometimes you should just leave well enough alone!! I have been a Shutterfly user since the beginning, and I just think this is ridiculous!

Calendar bug makes it unusable. The new release a week ago introduced a huge bug in the calendar that causes all events to appear the day before the actual event. I contacted Shutterfly and quite honestly am floored that they have allowed this bug to exist for as long as it has. This should have been an immediate hotfix or a rollback to the previous version. I am now looking at having to switch all of my teams to a new app because this is far too confusing.

Something is wrong. I downloaded this app on my iPhone 8+ and Galaxy S9 and neither app shows all the tabs and info of my share site as it is on a PC. With most sections missing the app is useless. Here’s the weird thing my cousin downloaded the same app and on her iPhone she can see everything as if it were on the PC. So there are clearly consistency issues. We downloaded the app a week apart. But nevertheless the version Injave on both my phones are useless

Love it. Are you Shutterfly for my preschool classroom. Each week I post photos, send a monthly calendar, and send out volunteer and sign-up sheets. It’s all free, and usually works wonderful. When I am not able to load photos, I delete that app and then reload the app. Usually it works after that.

Can’t login in. I got the app so I could download pictures easier onto my phone but how can I do that if I can’t even log on. I reset my password to see if that’s what was wrong but it still didn’t recognize my email and password combo that works online. Then I tried to just make a new account but it said it can’t make a new account at this time and that I should try again later. I’ve been trying for 2 weeks now. This app is useless and doesn’t even work.

Calendar isn’t working. The calendar on the app with IPhones has been wonky for over two weeks. It shows games on the wrong days. All of my teams at our school use this. Parents use this. Students use this. It has caused so much extra work for me to get out correct dates and inform everyone to not trust the app. Such a bummer. This has been awesome for so many years, until this. Still nothing from their customer support team.

Doubling some and deleting some. I have never had an issue with this app before, but the past couple of months the app has not been working properly. When I upload pictures, some will double while others don’t load at all. I have deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times without the issue resolving.

Calendar shows the wrong dates. The calendar was working alright in the beginning. But it stopped allowing us to change our availability. After a few weeks into the baseball season, the dates showed up wrong and confused the entire team. I sent feedback, but the dates are still off (showing as Friday when it’s actually Saturday). I would recommend using another app.

Useful, but needs improvement. I love this app for sharing photos with my class’s families. We are using it to stay connected during our school’s pandemic shut down, but the comments on photos do not show up on the app because the background and text are both black. I tried changing the theme of my share site and it did not change anything. Please fix this.

Picture upload is awful. I’ve used Shutterfly for years and lately the picture upload process is just awful. It won’t let you select more than a certain amount of pictures. Selecting the actual pictures is annoying. You used be able to drag and select multiple photos at a time, now you have to go one by one and most of the time when you have to tap the photo multiple times in order for it to actual select the picture. The ironic part is this is a photo company.

Always works. I have a shared site for my kindergarten classroom and this app saves me so much time. The other app never works for me so sometimes I use this app to upload my pictures so I can transfer them to the regular account.

Somewhat unusable. What shows on the computer is not the same as the app and items posted to the sites are not always able to be seen or accessed depending on whether you try to access it on the computer or the app. (For example, will go to the app to print a document but it’s not there but it is available when signed in on the computer.) Very frustrating and unreliable.

A year ago it was amazing. I’m not sure what has happened to this app. I’m a teacher and used to use it as a form of communication with parents. My pictures would upload quick and smoothly! Now it’s such a mission, just for about 4 pictures I have to stay on the app for over 5 minutes, just for 4!! Imagine 20, it’s so sad because the older version was my go to and other teachers as well. Not anymore..

So much potential. The app has so much potential to be great but I wish it had more of the features the actual site has. I add pictures on the app but then have to go to the website to organize them or add to the journal section. It also stops working frequently (stops uploading the pics) and the only way I have found to fix it is by deleting the app and re-installing it.

App data not up to date automatically. I am logged into the app on my iphone but the app would stop staying in sync after a while. New calendar items or other new information will not show up and there is no way for me to know. I have to shut the app down and relaunch it every now and then to see if I am missing something.

FIX IT ALREADY! Please!. I’ve used this app for a few years to easily upload photos to share with families. It ALWAYS ends up not working and you have to uninstall the app and start all over again. It finally has stopped working and won’t upload any photos at all - no matter what I try. I’d give this rating only one star if the shared sites concept wasn’t so cool. It’s a great idea, love Shutterfly products, but this app is driving us insane!!!

Wonderful. Such a wonderful site for our school musical! I can add volunteer slots, update parents and share photos! Disappointed that there isn’t a similar site like this since apparently it will no longer be available in March.
