great. like all your apps .high quality, amazing and irresistible.thanks for great job.

Fantástico!. Impecável, lindo, vale o investimento!

Nice but broken for iPad Air. This is (was) a great app, currently the tour portions just display a black screen on the iPad Air. Hope it is fixed soon as the extra power of the ipad Air should make it less laggy.

Awesome!. The title says it all! (Well not really.)I really like this app, is helps me with my homework and studying because I am only 11 and in middle school. This is one of the most amazing apps I have never seen! Is shows you many statues, and is incredibly detailed! And of course 3D. :) I rate this five stars, I don't blame them if it's $14.00. It has a lot of things to it. My teacher showed this in class to me and my classmates and we thought it was really cool! And it is!!! :P Great app guys!

Unbelievable. It's really amazing!

Very exciting...but needs more for the price. I enjoyed this app every time I tapped on the iPad(except for the few times the controls got tricky). The pyramids look great and I really liked seeing the hieroglyphs and sphinx close up. This app is awesome, but could use some more for the price you have to pay, maybe add in the Valley of the Kings another interesting site. Or the labyrinth under that area.maybe more enhanced wall paintings. I really enjoy learning more about Ancient Egypt and this app did educate me on a lot of things about the pyramids and tombs of that era. Good app, could be better, if we get good updates...

Love it!. I really enjoyed this app. Exploring Egypt on my ipad was awesome.

Ok. Good app but not worth $7!

Interesting but not enough substance. Like many people I have always been fascinated with Ancient Egypt. Unfortunately I haven't yet made the long planned trip to see the incredible sites for myself. With the recent political changes in that country may trip may have to be postponed for a while longer. Consequenrly I was delighted to find this app in the store with the promise of a virtual tour of the famed Giza plateau and guided narration. While the app is certainly fun, it falls short becuase the narration is so limited. The included "book" is fun but short and contains only abbreviated information...no real depth. While it is clearly fun to explore the 3D world, it soon becomes apparent how much detail is lacking in the 3D world when the actual photos of the areas are compared. This is also a pricey app for what it is. I'd like to see much more audio narration and explanation of artifacts.

Fantastic. I got this app when it first came out and I loved it. I still love it now. As for price, people don’t realize how much effort it takes to create apps like this. You pay about the same for a burger and fries and your money is gone (the stomach ache lingers for a while though). This app is great for children and adults, so don’t hesitate...get it now. Oh, one more thing: why are great apps hidden, while terrible apps are pushed? The previous App Store was bad, but the latest is as terrible as terrible can be. Please Apple, you can do better than this!

Wow!. This is an amazing app. The graphics are well done. It brought Ancient Egypt to life for me! It is definitely worth the money and the space it takes up. 😊👏

Love It. App is great!!!

Should be free. Not worth that much 😂

Lacks Content. Interesting but limited in content. The digital recreation is way off from the actual photo. King Tut tomb is not included which is a real letdown. Not worth the $ and pretty much a one time app. Good concept for the developer but the end user gets shafted

Awesome!!. What a fantastic app. This enables poor people and old people unable to travel to get close to seeing the real thing!

Picture Perfect 3D Pyramids!. This app is second to none! Visiting the Giza Plateau in person is the only thing that could possibly compare. Even then, not all the sites documented in this app are accessible to the public in Egypt. This amazing app will take you back thousands of years to life as it was in ancient Egypt and the wonders of the pyramids and tombs on the Giza Plateau. From the virtual tour of the plateau and inside the pyramids and tombs, to the 3D images of King Tut's death mask and a close look at the hieroglyphics on the tomb walls, this app really does cover it all. The views of these fascinating monuments (as they appear now and how they appeared thousands of years ago) are spectacular! There are so many truly beautiful images with such accurate and fascinating information, both written and narrated. This app is worth the price of a plane fare ticket to Egypt and the iPad combined! Thank you so much Dr Zahi Hawass, Sandro Vannini and Bram Calcoen for their areas of expertise towards this app and to Touch Press for bringing it all to life! It is very much appreciated by someone with an Egyptian heritage who has longed to visit Egypt to see the wonders of the ancient world. Do not hesitate in buying this app. It is worth every cent!

Visit or revisit Giza virtually.. If you've been to Giza, or want to go, you will love this app. Excellent detail, beautiful graphics, the chance to 'visit' several tombs as well as go inside the pyramids - this is a terrific resource. The accompanying book is interesting, too. If this is the way of the future in e-publishing, then it's going to be great fun. Recommended to all Egyptophiles.

Brilliant. This app is so worth the purchase. Brilliantly done. Exceeds my expectations. I really want to see the real thing now.

Brilliant!. This is an amazing application. Well worth the price.

Amazing, but may be expensive for some. This is an amazing app which brings the pyramids and surrounding tombs to life, but it may be expensive for the average user. The walkthroughs of pyramids are great, but through no fault of the app developers, there isn't a lot to see inside, except for zooming through narrow corridors and arriving in empty chambers. The eight or so surrounding tombs, though pretty small and for officials rather than pharoahs, have more content to look at, mostly on the walls, and the ability to see how many of the wall decorations (as well as the pyramids and sphinx) looked originally, is truly wonderful. I also liked the spoken introduction to each tomb, and the personal flavour of the comments, and I just wished it had been longer to give me a better feel for the person buried there. More suggestions (not criticisms) - A page or two of background on these people, or the roles they had, would have been really interesting. I would also have loved to see recreations of how these people actually looked - and dressed - in life, because the wall drawings are so stylized. The "then" recreations of the pyramids and sphinx would also be much more impressive if they were full screen, rather than relatively small pictures, and I would love to be able to download some of the art, for use as full screen wallpaper etc. There is a section allowing you to rotate various artifacts in 3D - this is very nice, but I wish there were some more interesting objects, as most of the items are plain little statuettes that don't really benefit from rotation. The two standout items are a gold funerary mask and full size funeral boat. I would have loved to see more gold jewelry and perhaps some of Tut's objects, like chariots. Again, that's a suggestion rather than a criticism, because I gather that 360 degree photography is pretty complex. However, I think it's overselling the app to say there are dozens of "exquisite" artifacts, when most are pretty unremarkable. The app includes a very professionally produced and detailed history that I found very impressive. There is some serious reading here. Now - without wishing in any way to be critical, you can get through everything in about an hour, or maybe two, bar the reading. So if you want to just see the special effects like the 3D and "then" and "now" comparisons, you may be disappointed by how quickly you get through all of it. Speaking for myself, once I got a taste for what the app could do, I couldn't help wishing there was more of it. However, if you have a genuine interest in ancient Egypt, you should find this app compelling. To be absolutely clear, I think it is an amazing app, and I congratulate the designers and developers, whose affection for their subject shows clearly. I just wonder if the pricing is too high for the average user.

The Pyramids. As with the earlier comment about the Dec update - y'all broke it for the large ipad1 audience. The APP opens and then immediately collapses - APP remains loaded but will not stay open full screen. Please fix ASAP. For a company that produces such amazing products (The Elements being my first experience) you show amazing shortsightedness when updating APPs. IOS devices tend to see long lives and the install base of older iPAD users is not shrinking so much as migrating - the trickle down principle. I understand updating APPs to support new iOS devices and releases but fail to see the logic behind compromising support for earlier versions. It would be simple, for example in the case of The Elements, to maintain an earlier release of the APP so that pre-iOS 7 devices may still purchase and install the APP. Rating will return to 5 stars when it works again... :-)

High Quality App. Got this for 3.99 special and it's well worth the price. This is a high quality app that works and looks great on ipad 4. It's also a great learning tool about ancient Egypt.

Expected more.... ...not worth what I paid for it.

Love it. I love love love love it! Totally worth $14, it would be REALLY cool if you could make an app that allowed us to explore the tombs of the valley of the kings😃

.... Interessant, mais sa vaut pas 13,99$ dutout !!

French please !!!. When a translation in french ?

Great app, but subtitles needed in some areas. This is a wonderful educational app, is really well done, and has lots of content. The only reason that I am removing one star from my review is due to the lack of subtitles during the voice overs when entering the various tombs and pyramids. It is puzzling that a developer making educational apps would ignore the needs of those who are hearing impaired. Hopefully, there will be a future update to address this issue, and which time I would upgrade my ratings to five star.

Not working. Recommended as a good app to show off the new ipad air... But although I get audio, no video at all. Hopefully this is being looked into.

Does not work on iPad. This does Not work on iPad. It opens then immediately closes. I am disappointed. Can't seem to contact the company from their app page.

Beautiful; with exceptions.. The app is very visually appealing but not very structured, with so many choices and so little information as to where to start, we found it difficult to take in. Also, once inside the sites it would be nice if there was a little more background information on the people or history surrounding them, as it seems like what is offered is really just window dressing...

Won't run. Last update was in December, no update to fix it. The app was expensive and now it is completely useless to me. Does not work on first gen iPads. I'm still hoping that they fix it.
