Confused!. I is the program at work at my course, I am the main user. Why can’t I sign on on the mobile app?

Trash.. Downloaded it and you can’t even register on the app. Not at all intuitive. Keep plugging fellas

Superior Support. I have been a user of the Genius app from nearly the beginning. This company and this product is superior in every way to other scoring and tournament software apps. I researched multiple options and every year when my renewal comes up I look again. The features alone are worth the product, but as an admin and profesional, what keeps me coming back is the outstanding and quick customer support. I get better support from Genius than not just a “golf” company, but any company at all. Add to this their receptivity to product enhancement suggestions and you can’t go wrong!

Golf Genius vs GHIN. I wonder why a handicap with Golf Genius is different from a handicap with GHIN. I have played over 60 rounds this year and have an 8.8 handicap with GHIN. Recently, I played in an “event” that utilized the Golf Genius app to compute the results. I normally play from between 5,800-6,200 yards. During this event, I played tees that were 6,500-6,700 yards. Yet, my handicap was reduced because I didn’t play from the tees that were actually behind the tees I played from.

Can’t register from app.. Are you kidding? Downloaded app. How do you register? There is no way to get in without already signing up. Would be great, if there were directions on how to do so, but guess what? Nope!! Not even a link to a website. I’d give you zero stars if this would allow it.

Login. I work at a course and have login access to golf genius and I downloaded the app to use and I can not log in says I’m not part of any leagues, events or trips. I put in a GGID and get the same information. However if I go to the website on my phone the GGID works fine and so I’m not sure what the problem is. I love the program and would love to see how this end works to be able to have our golfers use this.

Can’t sign in. Not part of any league or events or trips. I can sign on via your website no difficulty but the app won’t let me sign-on

Okay…when it works. This app is just okay when it works. It usually lags at least two holes behind and on some days it doesn’t work at all. Not a great thing for parents who didn’t get to make it to the tournament due to illness or injury but wanted to keep up with scoring. The final round is always very important but many times the app just doesn’t show up to play! Even with trying all the old tricks of turning the phone off, refreshing, etc., nothing helps. Maybe some “golf IT genius” could actually fix the bugs in this app so we could see what was going on with our kids!

Will not work. Previous had access. Have app have all sign on deleted redownloaded will not let me sign in

Incomprehensible. Just cumbersome at every step. The opposite of feature laden. Worthless for my needs.

Scoring Issue. I think the app does a good job. I like how it tracks player stats for my club. We use the app for scoring each week. One thing most of us struggle with is when we accidentally skip a hole when scoring—we enter hole 12’s scores in on hole 13. Then it throws off the whole scorecard. Messy. It would be great if the app could warn me that I skipped a hole before letting me save scores on the next hole (when trying to save scores on hole 13 it should let me know that no scores were entered on 12).

Can’t log in. Same deal as most of the other people in here. Have a perfectly good GGID to use on the website and it works fine, but doesn’t work on the mobile app.

iPhone X support added?. Said it updated to iPhone X. App still crops the screen, it may now support iPhone X in other ways, but screen is the same.

Awesome Software/APP. Tell your PGA Professional to get this service!! Awesome for your Saturday Club game as well as leagues! Live scoring is an unbelievable feature...Know how groups in front/behind are playing!

Great app for following scores from far away. Love being able to follow scores while not at the tournament. Would be great if there was a way to save GGIDs. Also would be great if I could rename or tag GGID to be able to remember what tournament it was without having to open it. Make sense?

Access info. Literally can’t access info for the men’s Maryvale golf club, worked two months ago, not working now

Can’t connect. I have tried many times and I cannot connect to GG. Tried changing password and that didn’t work. Tried logging out of account on my computer. That didn’t work. Double and triple checked password, GGID and email address. I give up.

Public. Is there a way to create a tournament amongst friends or are events only able to be created vi the club level?

A complete waste. Our club is forcing us to use this app for tournaments and leagues. Everyone I have spoken to hates it and thinks it is worse than the old manual scorecards. It is impossible to determine the status of our matches real time and even the leaderboard is useless for our league.

Login Screen. I’m new to using golf genius for our club events, but when I tried to enter scores it says to enter scores using the app while using iPad. I then go to the app and type in my GGID and it tells me I am not part of any events and won’t let me sign-in, but when I go to website and use the same GGID, it works just fine.

More like, Golf Idiots. If you want to have a simple login, link it with something like Facebook. If you can’t comprehend that, at least let us sign up easily. Your app is garbage. Easy sign up. Easy navigation and that’s it. Not that hard.

Youth Golf Instructor. Great real-time leaderboard tracker and it allows members to input their score for handicap averaging.

Good app. The Golf Genius software offers a far more comprehensive selection of tournament opens and customizability than any other mobile golf scoring app. One note, if your club/league did not purchase the premium version, you will not be able to use the app. Support is also incredibly quick at getting back to you on a question.

Terrible app with outdated UI. Our league has switched to this app and honestly it’s awful. It’s very difficult to read leaderboards and results. It’s like it was made for a PC and then simply “wrapped” and distributed as an “app”. Lots of scrolling left to right and up / down to see any information.

Constantly boots you out of leaderboard. Thanks for response. No way to recreate situation that happened at US Kids World event though. According to US Kids it sounds like app was overwhelmed by incredibly large number of players in field entering scores. Went away from live scoring for rest of tournament.

Sign in. The app page would not let me send this to support so 8m doing it here. I just downloaded the app and it’s treating me like I have an account. I do not have an account. How do I proceed. Because it thinks I have an account it doesn’t give me the ability to create an account.

Can't login. Does it make sense to anyone that a 'non-premium' user can use the website easily to register for club tournaments, etc but can't even log in to the app? Why the difference!

Cannot log in app for iOS. The app says I am not part of any leagues/ events/ trips when I try to enter either my GGID or email and password. I’ve deleted and reloaded app several times to no avail. Works great in web browser but not this app!!!! Arghhhhh

Great app - increase font size. Great app. Need to increase font size. Difficult to read scorecards out on the course.

Please fix the Login window. This app is awesome except for one simple thing: the login window. When the keyboard pops up it covers the text and you can’t see what you are typing. Great app otherwise but the first impression is not good. Please FIX this!!!!

Golf Genius. Too cumbersome. Can’t sign in. Can’t use.

On scorecard screen scores impossible to read. This app primarily used by country clubs. Average age is probably high esp. in Fl. And Az. You can’t enlarge the screen to make it more readable and in the Fl. Sun it’s impossible to see. Make the scores larger or allow screen to be enlarged when viewing. Our eyes aren’t that good and there is no reason for this unless you get a perverse pleasure in punishing seniors!

Log in. Downloaded app but can not log in. Where is this ggid?

User Thought. Yours is a great App. I use it 3 times weekly. My club uses it for Registration. There is a trigger (Pulled by unknown) that changes Registration to ‘Closed’. Okay so far. The problem is that a registrant cannot Cancel after Registration is Closed. Calling Pro Shop doesn’t always work. (Those guys are overworked.) It would seem being able to cancel at anytime would be a win for all stakeholders. Thanks for a great App.

Good app but heavy battery drain. Consistently drains battery at excessive rate even though location services off and only entering scores then immediately locking screen off. 4 hours match drains iPhone X 50% or more.

Great app for competitions BUT. but pls fix the fact that you chat have multiple match IDS entered at once. You have to log out and log back in. A real pain! Otherwise it’s great for seeing everyone’s scorecards post app and easy to enter the scores on the spot

Can’t log in. I’m playing on a tournament this week and we were directed to download the app. I must have used the app in the past but I’ve tried every email account I’ve ever had and no dice. In short, I am unable to register or reactivate a dormant account. Help?

Great App. If you are playing in an event with mobile scoring, this is an easy-to-use and fun app. Also very easy to upload candid pictures of participants enjoying themselves at the Tournament. If you are viewing the portal from an iPad or device with a larger screen, it’s better just to use the portal accessed via your browser.

Free?. I just downloaded this for an upcoming tournament I’m having and my phone said payment processed. How much does it cost? I’m not going to require 144 golfers to download the app if there is a fee.

Spectator. It would be nice if I could follow my niece on this app. Every tournament she's in says to use this to see live scoring and the leaderboard but I have no credentials and there doesn't seem to be any way to register as a user without them.

Good not great. Good app. Retains information but that’s good and bad. It retains my old GGID whether I log out or not (on iPhone) and only shows me information relevant to that, not upcoming events seperate to that last golf entity. It can be confusing and is not intuitive enough for beginner users. Some tweaks and it could be very good.

Terrible. one of the worst golf sites i’ve ever had to deal with. unreal.

Junk. I’d go as far as saying that I’d be embarrassed to creat an app so bad. No confirmation of scores and not user friendly at all. No one at the whole tournament could figure it out.

Personal Tournament Use. Great App for golf course run tournaments. The live leaderboard is fantastic, however is there any possible option for charity or personal small hosted tournaments? Wondering as the $250 purchase fee is quite significant if we’re running 5-15 tournaments a summer with groups of 8-24 golfers. E

Age restrictions. The app is great but the age restrictions is a problem. My child’s junior golf event wanted the players to download the app but it’s listed as 17+ and some parents either didn’t know their restrictions code or didn’t trust the app due to the high age limit and didn’t want it on their junior players phone. They need to change the age appropriateness level or juniors need to use a different app.

Need a little help…. I recently turned from a four round golf trip and tried to enter my GG Sunday codes to review the score/ event / tournament details for our group (16) and it says the code is invalid. ???

Set up fee? Ridiculous!. Used this app for a tourney where we were provided a code. Petty much a digital score card but I did enjoy the leader board function. Figured I'd create my own user ID and use the app to track my rounds. $2 per round? $149 set up fee? Last time I checked we set up our own information. Perhaps I'm missing something or don't take the game serious enough to pay this much for an digital score card versus a paper score card. Summary - for a single user, there are so many better solutions to track more valuable info. For a tourney director perhaps there is value but at thousands of dollars, I say pass.

App not recognizing me. My golf pro just put our league into GG. I can log in with the GG software on my computer but the GG app that I used last season in a different league doesn’t recognize my new league affiliation. I’m using the same username and password for both the website and the app.

Love this app!. Our Men’s Club loves this app. We use it on all our events. Noticed however that the latest update (V7.4) seems to have broken the app for some devices using Android OS. When attempting to enter scores, the app simply crashes. Hope the next update will fix this bug.

Email blacklist problem. My Club uses Golf Genius for our leagues and tournaments. Over the past 6 months - I have had recurring problems of not getting the weekly Player Tip sheet from GG. Their tech guy, Joe, has told me that my email Is being blacklisted. He fixes the problem, then several weeks later it happens again. The “fix” doesn’t seem to take. Joe says it’s my email - but I’m not having any problems with anyone but GG. They aren’t blocked in y settings - so I need a fix. Joe has told me to contact Gmail. At this point I’m frustrated. My only solution is to keep asking the ladies at the course to share the GG code with me. I would not recommend GG.

Log in. Downloaded app but can not log in. Where is this ggid?

Rip off. I did not sign up to pay 59.99 for this app but was billed. I tried to write them and got an error message. Ripped off.

Finicky System. Our club uses GG for all league and tournament play. The mobile app is ok if you know exactly how it works. The suite of GG offers do not interact well with one another. There are several ways to access GG and depending on the way you’ve accessed it depends on what you get. Using a username and password requires an entirely different navigation than if you use a GGID. The problem is with mobile phone use and notebook use and desktop use. The Pro Shop doesn’t have enough time nor staff to handle all the issues users have with GG…AND, there is no user guide or help desk to help us users resolve the problems. So, we hate using GG.
