They probably paid these people to rate it 5 stars!. I had it for 2 minutes and it literally guessed every pitch! Once it said 2 mph then 70mph! This is a scam!

Good app. I tried the app out in a real baseball game in it surprisingly worked very well I recommend the app to many people.

Great. It is not as accurate as an actual radar gun but it is only a few mph off from a real one. You can get a good average though and the app is free!

Works well. The speed seems pretty accurate, at least for what we are trying to see. I do wish the start/stop button was bigger. Since I have to watch the ball during the timing process, a bigger target would be helpful.

Good app. Not sure the accuracy on the speed, it depends on your timing ability. It’s a good app for what I’m using it for.

Not bad. I’ve got no serious complaints. It has more to do with your response time than anything else. Maybe they’ll come up with a better way to actually read ball speed in the air one day. Nice app though.

I do not like it. The button you press to see the speed is fake if you tap it 2 times in a row it Just randomizes the pitch I think this app is a SCAM

Well thought no complications. I understand users wants to use their phone like speed guns but this app is as simple as it can get. It saves battery and you want to have an approximation of the speed and with the distance and time you get speed so apt attention and do some average after few throws you will have an idea of your kid pitch. Maybe having an average speed is not bad feature request.?

Very bad it’s said he threw 403 miles per hours not even MLB players can’t throw that fast so fake. So bad

Works for lacrosse. This is a great app that you can also use for lacrosse. The only hard part is trusting whoever is using the app.

Baller. I think it's fairly accurate if you type in the correct distance you can simply calculate how long it takes to get from A (release of pitcher) to B (catcher). It's math skills! And you can keep track of the strikes and balls, etc. Pretty cool concept and we compared it to a real gun and it was within 1-2 mph each time and that's because you have to use your thumb to start and stop!

GREAT APP!!!!!!!. I have a real radar gun and it is almost exactly accurate. But it is better because you can choose the distance from the pictures mound to home-plate and you can put in your custom length if you want. Another reason is that I can keep track if I am at my friends baseball game and the scoreboard is not working, I can keep track of the game all on my phone.

At least you can keep count. The radar gun is not good at all but you can keep count which is good. But overall I wouldn’t download it

For free can't beat it.. Used this type of radar before and u can't be as accurate as a real gun, but u can average the speeds to get an idea where u are at

Pretty good. Its actually a very good app with all the features that it comes with. It can be inaccurate if you don't time it proper but over all pretty good

Does not work even a little. Basically is a random number generator. Pointing at something stationary show fast numbers. Point at something moving is slow numbers. No pattern.. Basically author invented this fake app to what end? I don't know!!

Has no business mentioning radar. When someone is looking for speed estimation they want to use the built in phone functions. This just has you tap start and stop. Of use tonsome Insuppose but the description seems misleading.

Good app to estimate pitching speed.. It does have a lot of features other than to calculate speed from two presses of the pitch button. It has score keeping and so on that I have not used. I have used another app that lets you press at the start of a pitched and then release upon catching. I can’t seem to find that feature in this app. To be able to press and release and then press again upon catching in about 0.4 secs with accuracy makes it more difficult to get repeatable results. A press hold then release in 0.4 to 0.5 would be easier. Other than that I like the app.

ITS FAKE. I was testing in out and I didn't even do anything I was pressing the start and stop button without moving and it said it was going 216mph when I was standing still pressing the button

Great!. This works great! Enter your distance and customize to even stride length. Tap when released and when caught, and you get your time! Just a math formula but great and easy to use.

Idea for Improvement. Maybe it's just me, but trying to tap the start/stop button twice while watching the pitch just isn't working consistently. I suggest pressing and holding the button upon release of the ball and releasing the button as it crosses the plate - a lot less room for error.

Not Bad For Free. Sometimes you get the feeling you are testing your iw reaction time. There is no distance for 43' but it does give you a good relative speed between pitchers.
