Great app.. This app has made life much simpler. Been using it for 3 years and it is so simple to record my expenses and mileage then email to accounts payable every month. EXCELLENT

Excellent App!!. This is a great app for mileage recording. I use it often to record business miles using toe option where you enter starting and ending mileage. It makes a good record for the IRS. I tried a couple of other similar apps but find this one the most suited to my needs.

Worth it!. A great app. Unclear instructions but you can stop and restart a single trip when you stop off somewhere for a while (before your GPS shuts off your iPhone) so you can create a multi-day several-stop trip. Can transfer info between iPhone and iPad.

Pretty good. Works pretty well for what I need. Wish odometer readings were easier to enter and would save for my different cars. Also wish it would stop popping up the 'do you like this app' thing, especially when I've already written a review!

Awesome in its simplicity. A simple mileage tracking app without all the gps stuff to set and manage.

The best!. Need an app to basically track my medical and volunteer miles for taxes. After looking at many mileage expense trackers, and after using Falcon Expenses for several years, I just switched to MEL and am loving it. FE pitched free use for unlimited entries at first, with an recurring monthly subscription fee only if you wanted to submit (export) reports. I was willing to do that for one month a year at tax time. But then they got greedy and starting limiting entries, at first to 10/mo for free, but since the beginning of this year 2019 down to six in a month, before requiring that I subscribe, and now the fee was increased too. I could see where that was going; every year I’d be paying more for less, and support was poor, defensive, contentious, and sometimes taking a week or more to respond - generally customer unfriendly. Even just cancelling the subscription required 10 days advance notice. Needless to say, MEL stood out by promoting no subscription necessary! And also by providing selectable and IRS current mileage rates which FE did not (only one rate which had to be entered in settings before entering a new expense). FE did have more filtering flexibility by using tags to group expenses, but I find that MEL’s two fields per entry, Destination and Purpose, by which expenses can be grouped when exporting, is adequate. I do wish there was one more field per expense for a note or comment, unique to each entry, ie not saved to a pick list. I also love the ability in MEL to back up my data to iCloud or Drop box, which can be also be used to transfer and synch data between devices, another feature lacking in FE. Thanks!

Outstanding App. I have been using this app for two years to keep track of the miles that I travel for business. It is a great app that is easy to use and it is reliable (i.e. it has NEVER lost my data and it ALWAYS functions properly). Running total monthly and annual totals are very convenient for taxes!

Great App. Easy to use works great. The only thing you need to do is to remember to enter your trips.

Great for what I need. I don't have the most complicated me, and this simple application needs mine very well. I do a lot of short trip commutes as a part of my job, and this app allows me to keep track of those for my expense reports.

Awesome!!!. This app is amazing! If you need a mileage log that keeps track of your miles to the decimal point then this is the app for you.

Waste of money. Is there a way to get a refund from the App Store? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still doesn't work right All is good until you push stop and the start pin jumps into The Atlantic Ocean. The customer service link is invalid

Nice App!. I use for tracking miles, would be nice to set rates for uses. I have to change the rate to zero for personal miles, and then re-enter the rate for business miles. Also it will only track odometer for one car. It tracks well, until changing cars, then you have to re-enter odometer. Minor points, otherwise it has worked flawlessly.

Mileage tracking miracle. This app tracks both mileage and the extra related costs. You can customize selections and enter things in a very easy fashion.

Excellent and simple. Buy this. It saves so much time and eliminates the scraps of paper that floated around my car. Gives easy reports for my CPA.

Better than the rest. I've tried a bunch of driving log apps and this one is hands down the easiest to use. I travel a lot for business and have put a lot of mileage on my car and the app is indispensable!

Works wonderful!!. Great app! I use it for my monthly expenses for work. I only wish the data would transfer between my apple electronics.

Does not work. I bought the app with high expectations of recording my mileage. I read the reviews. I loaded the program. I was able to get one trip locked. But when I wanted to add another trip, the program would not allow me to add anything. The price was a bit high to track 30 miles of travel.

DO NOT BUY. Total sham product. You can’t even SEND and email to support, probably because there is none. If you want to manually START and STOP you tracking EVERY Drive and manually type in the vehicle, destination, purpose, and tax dollar per mile EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU DRIVE... then this, YOUR F^^## IDIOT is the app for you. Is there a way to get my money back?

Not so easy to use. Tried to enter the odometer and it wouldn’t take it. Tried it about 4 times.

Really simple. I used it for a year and it was a great help with my taxes. I like the simplicity of it. It saved me about six hours at tax time, because I didn't have to calculate my business hours by hand. Update: Now I have about 3 years with the app and still simple and easy to use.

Great app. Very easy to track mileage. No problems so far & have been using for a year.

Don't buy. This app is already listed as another app. I got confused because I thought my app didn't download and then I bought this one by accident and now the guy won't give me a refund according to his return policy. You're better off going with a different app from a different company so that you get better customer service.

Do Not Buy. I bought this app thinking it would be a helpful tool as an outside sales person and I finished a full day of work hoping to have a log. Nothing. Luckily I still have Mile IQ on my phone and it captured everything. I reached out to the developer to no avail.

Owner. The app works great on iPhone 5s and iPad Minnie 3. It could do better with reports printing. You will need too breakdown the category's yourself for the accountant. It has places for added expenses like tolls but it wold be nice to get added expenses for all other work expenses. Also be able to print reports of these separately as well. Other than that it's great.

Meh. Can’t figure it out, not user friendly

Great APP. This app is great and I use it with multiple vehicles that I have. I like using it for tracking mileage for Doctor Visits and Military Travel these are monthly tracking and the download is great for taxes and official usage for all my driving that is not going to work or personal driving. It can almost break it down to how much I really drive to work and home without tracking it due to appointments being weekly and military travel monthly. Great app to use for tracking mileage and expenses to include tolls, fuel purchases, and meals while traveling.

As promised. Does what is says it will. Helpful to track mileage. Makes reports simple each month and at the end of the year

Wonderful app. Love this mileage app. The export feature is great and the auto calculation is very helpful. Been using paper logs for years and now wonder how I ever managed without this app.

Great functionality but easy to lose data. I used another app for two years and constantly had problems with it losing data in the middle of a trip. MEL has great functionality, is easy to use and the reports work great. Only a few times has it lost data. But I find out of ha it I close apps and MEL doesn't work when it's closed like my other app did.

Top Mileage App. This is the best app for keep track of mileage. With automatic GPS and/or Odometer tracking and itemized expenses it helps me make sure I have the log I need to report back to my work and get reimbursed for my travels.

Mileage expense. I need a good app that can help keep track of my vehicle mileage this seems to work well except that it cuts itself off when you stop and your mileage is lost this is completely unacceptable this app must be updated to run continuously until I decide to turn it off and I don't need to be reminded to turn it off and it doesn't need to turn itself off if you don't fix it I'm going to want my money back

Excellent way to keep track. This has been what I was looking for in keeping track of mileage.

MEL. Simple way to track personal and business miles.

"Done" button is in the worst spot ever. When I go to enter a mileage entry and go to enter the number of miles the apps "done" button is covering my keyboard and number buttons in the bottom left. I use an iphone with the Swype keyboard. So I cannot enter a number in the miles traveled...very frustrating does anyone know a fix to this?

Disappointed. Phone had to be replaced...had set for iCloud backup setup. Got new phone but nothing in iCloud re this app. Maybe it was my phone, but I spent 10 months putting data into the app and now I have nothing. Guess I will get a pen and paper... When I try to send this review...all the nicknames are used...frustrated, disappointed, sad, etc. Guess I’m not the only one who wasted a lot of time.

Legend. Very basic and simple but helpful. Often has issues transferring odometer readings into actual km travelled so have to go back and edit the entry after the fact which is a pain.

Manual Entry. Total manual entry with this app. No need to pay anything for this app when there are others that have very automatic collection mechanisms. This is just a spreadsheet.

Will not save!. I make a new entry then app shows 0 miles after save is pressed? Really?

Atrocious UI. Not very customizable, and the look and feel are squarely back in the iOS 4-6 era. Not at all what I expected from a modern app. The ugly really makes me cringe. It works okay, but. Expect more customizability, and would like something a little more pretty. (Seriously, a chalkboard background?)
