Was great.. I have had this app for awhile now and I use it daily for work. I am a licensed massage therapist. I went to open it awhile back and it force closes every time. This is a huge disappointment. I hope they fix it soon.

PLEASE ALLOW THIS APP TO WORK HORIZONTALLY!!!. please!!! i know it’s designed in portrait mode, but it makes it impossible to split screen the app on a tablet and take notes alongside the app. it’s perfect in every other way, but this is super frustrating

Great App when it works. I download this app because it goes along with the book I use for my anatomy class. After I first downloaded the app it worked great. Being able to quiz myself with the same pictures I’d see on tests was extremely helpful. However, after that first use the app always crashes whenever I try to use it. Very frustrating considering I paid $15 for it.

Amazing Study Tool. This app has saved my life on multiple occasions! The app allows me to review material any time and anywhere. It’s super convenient to use, and beats lugging books around everywhere. This app is a god send to physical therapist assistant students everywhere. Thanks for being awesome!

App keeps crashing after recent ios update. Hopefully this is temporary but there's no way on the app to notify developers.

Im having a very experience with this application the book. Im having a very experience with this application the book and also the palpitation guide. The make anatomy phone and the best part its that I can do it Anywhere On train and even whenever I have 10 minutes here and there. They group the information In a way that is easy to follow and learn. Best $30 I spend lately. Cheers

Well built. I appreciate the search tool and all the options! What I would change is to add an anatomical body with the ability to select systems, acupressure points, and more.

Review. This app worked great while it lasted, it was the only resource I’d found to help me pass my tests with studying. But for whatever reason, it’s not compatible with iOS 13 or later and crashes whenever you use it. So not only have I wasted 15$s I’m failing my tests because I have yet to find anything else to help me study that’s just as useful.

Hōkūlani Massage student in Kamuela, love our sm class. anatomy is a lot to memorize, turned off “AOIN” flash card practice works great for memorization- I was getting a bit of anxiety, until I downloaded this app. I tried essential anatomy 5, great app but this specific app correlates directly to my “Trail Guide to the body” textbook/workbook. It’s making studying painless - I also found my self utilizing the “voice memo” fr my iPhone to record ones I have trouble with and listen on my commutes, works great (I just don’t like listening to myself ;-) - might as well use that time productively, Vocab will only increase. Excellent study tool 👍🏽. Good luck you guys.

Occupational Therapy. This has helped me so much in really being able to visualize what I need to learn. I recommend studying with this!

Great untill latest iOS update. I got this to help study while learning my kinesiology and I used it to help on the go identifying muscles and their action. After I got the iOS 13.1.2 update the app does nothing but crash after opening the app and attempt to change area of the body because it always opens on legs. The information within the app is amazing and miss being able to use it because it is a good reference for my work as I work in a clinical setting and sometimes looking at one exact muscles is needed because we work on a very specific area to treat a patient.

Such a fun app to learn with!. I have been using this app for many years after completing my therapeutic massage program. It’s so easy to use. A good tool for anyone’s anatomy toolbox. Use this app with care. Do no harm.

Updates...?. I have two different books from the Trail Guide series, the newest edition has a new section dedicated to trigger point locations and referral zones. There are also changes to the picture and muscle references in the book. Will the app update for these changes as well?

On the go studying. This is great for studying wherever u are. I use the cards for study material & also if there is something I don’t remember it is quick & easy to look up the name of a muscle or bone.

I wish it could do just a little more. What the app offers so far is great. I would really like to see it offer even more though. Additional quiz questions would be an awesome and easy start.

Great when it works.. 4 stars because when it works it’s the absolute best app. But I wanted to take 1 or 2 stars off because it will stop working every single time I update my phone so when I really need it I can’t use it. But when it does work it gives great videos on how to locate and know your on a muscle using actions, BLMs, and other surrounding muscles. I used it throughout school and even now as a professional massage therapist. It also does muscle overlays so you can see what the muscle would look like under the skin there. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app (when it works).

Must Have!. I have been using this app for years. It has taken me through countless classes and I still refer back to it very often. Easy to navigate through, read, understand and remember. I only wish some videos would accompany the Movements sections. Other than that it is hands down the best (and I have them all) anatomy app there is. Thanks!

Deserves zero stars. Bought this in September to help me with a class. Worked great for about 6 weeks. Now it doesn’t work at all. I can’t access anything. I want a refund. Also, I wish there was somewhere to let someone know that their system needs updating so that it works- if they want to keep charging people for this app that is..Don’t waste your money.

Great for Massage Therapy School and Beyond!. I purchased this app my first week of massage school and used it EVERY DAY. It’s so easy to navigate and quick to check individual muscles! I’ve been licensed and practicing for 5 years now and I still reference it sometimes. 100% worth the money because it really is a full textbook worth of information at your fingertips!

Won't work after updating to 13.0. I was using this app a lot and it is the great anatomy app for muscles. Unfortunately it stops working after I upgraded my iPhone to 13.0. I hope the developers can resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Good basic anatomy app. I like this app, it is simple and easy to use, but search function could use some beefing up and many muscles that I know are actually not included.

Terrible App. I bought this app with the bundle for palpations. I have to agree to the license agreement each time I long in and it immediately crashes as soon as I select a muscle. Unfortunately this is a big waste of money. I was hoping for a good app to provide me with origin, action, and insertion. I have an iPhone X with iOS 13.

Very complete, easy and fun!. I’ve been a massage therapist for over 15 years and just started in PT field, this app has helped me tremendously when to do soap notes and when I don’t have all muscle groups in the top of my head as well as movements of the body and bone structures. Highly recommended!

Massage therapy student. I’ve used a lot of different anatomy apps to learn muscles and bones but this is the most useful with the palpation explaination. I highly recommend this app for any student wanting to learn muscles and bones is a very exciting way. I wish however creators would make a recording audio for all the material on the anatomy app so people like me with learning issues can hear it out load at the same time as reading it just one more way to really drill things to the memory. I wish they would also create add on a app for quizzing the knowledge found in the trail guide and the different action, origins, insertion for the different muscles would be hugely beneficial for a anatomy student! ❤️

Highly useful app for learning muscle and bone anatomy.. I first purchased this app back in 2012 when I started massage school, and I still find it useful to this day. This app is great for studying and learning the bones and muscles, and it is great for refreshing your memory too. It has a fun feature where it tells you to locate the bone or muscle and you have to click on it and get it right. When looking at individual muscles, you can swipe the screen and it "flips" the card and on the back it says the origin, insertion, action, innervation, and location. I use it regularly so I don't forget my anatomy, and sometimes I use it as a visual reference for my clients so they can see what muscles I am talking about too. This app has never really glitched on me, and I have been using it on my iPhones and iPads over the years. This app is excellent for helping one study for the Mblex exam too.

This is the exact same as the AMTA app. AMTA gives the blue-themed version of this app to registered members and students. If your massage school is worth its weight then they probably registered you for AMTA don’t waste the $15 without checking first. If you’re just studying muscles for the heck of it, this is a fine app to learn from. Spend away!

Electronic flash cards. This is just like having flash cards but better. Instead of all the answers on the back of the card you can single out what you are looking for. Excellent for studying for A&P in physical therapy assisting school. I also bought trail guide to the body book and the work book that goes with it. I also bought the Palpation app that goes with this one. When you buy the book it gives you access to the videos online but I bought the app anyway because of the ease of accessing the videos from the app. The only thing they could improve is being able to use the app in landscape view.

Anatomy Made Easy!. OK, anatomy is never easy. I have avoided science classes my entire life. But I’m in massage school now and have to take anatomy and advanced anatomy. I was really struggling, but with the Anatomy Mapp I have a great tool to help me learn. The testing in quizzing aspects of the muscles of different areas is fantastic! The individual muscles with the diagrams in the actions insertions and origins it’s simple to use and makes visualizing the muscles of breeze. I’m learning and mastering the material in a way that I thought was impossible. An excellent excellent tool!

Is there an update coming??. I absolutely love this app, BUT I got a new iPad Air and it doesn’t appear to be compatible with the new iOS 😩. That is why only 4 stars. I used it to study for the MBLEX, and it was invaluable. Really hoping for an update to the app so I can continue enjoying its use.

Excellent study aid. I found this app to be extremely helpful while studying for my Massage Therapy License. I love having the option to bookmark specific muscles, and the quiz questions definitely help reinforce learning the muscle actions and attachments.

It’s ok. I have the flash cards made by Trail Guide and they’re gorgeous so I bought this app thinking it would be as useful and I’m a little disappointed. The pictures on the app are terrible compared to the cards. This last update made it worse.

Good for reviews. I have been a practicing LMT for over three years now and I still review and refresh my anatomy knowledge. I enjoy this app because it's easy to use when I am on the go and have a few empty minutes.

Solid app for PTA school. I think this app is definitely worth the money especially considering my coursework and exams are all based on the content from this book. Only wish is that we could write on the images or make little notes

Great for reference!. I used this source as a massage therapy student and it has been as helpful, if not more, as a Massage Therapist. I can review muscles after seeing a client or research movements they do to pinpoint their area of tightness or tension.

Recent crashes. I first downloaded this app along with the PalpationMapp app because they correspond with my trail guide book for massage school. I always recommend these apps to my classmates who are having trouble with learning their muscle or bones. But after the recent iOS 13 update it has been crashing with each use. I love this app it’s very useful pleeaase fix it soon.

Great Way to Study. I have been using this app for a few year now, and I continue to come back to review. I would only recommend the designer to add pictures for the Action. It,s difficult to figure out adduction, abductio, flexing, etc. without an illustration. Five Stars!

Good pictures. I love this app! I’ve tried other anatomy apps but they’re complicated to use this is so easy and the pictures are detailed and from good angles. Totally worth the money.

iPhone update makes the app unusable. I used to find this app really useful for studying for school. However now the app closes completely when you try and click on a muscle making it useless. Hope they release an update soon to fix these issue.

Student review.. As a new student in massage school, I find this app increases my ability to study relevant anatomy anywhere I go. Having this opportunity to study at will anywhere is helping me learn the material instead of memorizing for a test.

Priceless. I chose to buy the bundle rather than use the flash cards for my kinesiology class. This app not only offers everything the flash cards do but they are conveniently waiting in your phone. Each section references the page number of the accompanying book and workbook so you can see it on paper and look at the surrounding chapter. This app is worth any amount of money it cost... just the cost savings in flash cards alone has saved me double! The only thing I would ask the developer to add to future versions is audio pronunciation in the anatomy map app because the flash cards have points you to tap to name the structure it it on and it would help to have an option to have the name sounded out because some of them are a little hard to say....

Must Have App for Therapy Students!. This app has everything you can ask for when it comes to testing and reviewing anatomy! I love how it gives you M/C questions with the muscles as well as having the accessibility to pull it out during my down time and for prepping for exams! If I can only change one thing it would be to ask questions over the nerve innervations.

Great App...When it Works. As others are saying, the new iOS update must be causing the app to crash. It is a great study tool when the app actually functions, but until they get it working again, save your money!

Is it working?. So I paid for this app and used it for school and it really helped a lot. Good app at first, but now when I open the app it kicks me back to my home screen and asked for me to acknowledge the terms and agreements. Something stupid is happening and I’m getting upset about, I paid for an app to work for 1 year and that’s it. Come on get your app working again please.

iPhone update problem. My iPhone just recently got an update, I tried to open the AnatomyMapp app and when I clicked on a muscle the app closed itself. I’ve never had this problem before and it wasn’t until after I have updated my phone that it started to happen. I absolutely love to use the app and now I’m upset that I can’t, especially since i had to pay money to use the app in the first place.

Great app. Wish that when you clicked on the name it would say the word so I knew I was saying it correctly. Other than that it is awesome!!!

Crashes. I just downloaded the app for a little extra help to assist in my college studies and I’m unable to use it. No matter what I click on, it crashes and closes out. I’ve tried restarting my phone and deleting and redownloading the app and the problem is persisting. Not worth purchasing. It’s been a month and it still isn’t resolved and it doesn’t look like it will anytime soon. I wish I could take back the money I payed for it because this app is literally useless

App not working with iOS 13. This has been an awesome app to use; but since the ios13 update it is continually crashing! No updates for a paid app is a bit too much as well. Please get this fixed, I don’t won’t to have to buy and carry the giant book around with me

Teres major insertion incorrect😡😡😡. Teres major is incorrect on this app. It is the medial lip of the intertubercular sulcus of the humerus not the lesser tubercle. Fix this please. I’m in grad school and I cannot afford to learn the wrong insertions!

Not working after update. Though the app is helpful, the latest update has caused me great grief as I use this application to study. The developers have not managed to fix it and I feel it is a waste of money because the final exam is what I ultimately purchased it for.

Does not work after iOS 13.0. Hi, great app normally... when it works. After the iOS 13 update, selecting anything from a list closes the app out (such as opening the list of individual muscles, and selecting an actual muscle closes the app). Is this going to be fixed in an update? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Doesn’t work anymore. I had a chance to use this for about a month before the iOS update that caused this app not to work anymore. Super disappointed that I paid for it and it doesn’t work anymore. Wish I could get a refund.

Convenient Study Tool - Use in Airplane Mode!. Really great App for studying overall. Very convenient; you can use it in airplane mode. Missing some detail in boney landmarks, an missing a few deep muscles of the back, but overall super great study tool!

Fantastic!. This app is a life-saver! It's the perfect tool for students! I have the textbook and workbook, but I can't carry those with me everywhere... So on break at work, or when I'm out running errands and waiting in line, I can actually study and learn the same content on my iPhone! I'm an Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant Student, and I absolutely recommend downloading this app! The price is fairly small if it means I'll grasp the information better, and improve my marks as a result. Thank you so much for creating it!

Love it. It wasn’t working for a while (bummer) but seems to be good to go now. Super helpful app, use it all the time in my practice (RMT). It’s great for studying too. I never actually bought this textbook when I was in school, just used the app.

Good reference for RMT!. As a RMT student, I found this app is very useful for me. Whenever I needed to find some information like origin, insertion, action and innervation of the muscles. This app got it all. All the contents are easy to find and understand; the pictures all very clear and precise. I highly recommended this app for all students or medical professionals to use it as reference.

One improvement I would suggest. Have a random button so they can be used more like flash cards instead of always having to go through the same sequence.

Comparable to book and flash cards. If you have the book and flash cards, then this is just the right source for on the go learning. The book introduces the concepts, the flash cards aid in memorization, and this app helps further memorization and quizzes you. If you expect it to do the job of the book you're gonna have a bad time.

Crashes Every Time. App used to work great. With the new iPhone update, every time I click a muscle to view a card, the app exists out and crashes. No longer able to be used at all!

Great app. But has been recently force closing when trying to look up muscles.

20 dollars ?. At 20 dollars this app should be a bit better. For one, it hasn't been updated since January 2015. But more importantly it isn't nearly as interactive as it could be! The pictures just feel like scans from pages in the books and the overall UI is very cumbersome. I'd just feel better if I spend say, 3-5 dollars rather than 20!

PLEASE UPDATE. I have an upcoming test in school and I can’t study at all because this app does not support iOS13. I’m afraid I will not do well on the test if I can’t study.

Bugging. Usually a very good and very reliable app, but for the moment every time i try to view a muscle group the app closes and brings me back to my home screen. If you’re studying anatomy it is well worth the money for the app, but they need to fix this bug.

Astoundingly detailed. I'm learning so much about my body from it already. The only thing I'm disappointed by is that you can't use it with the iPad horizontal, which is how I prefer to study.

Great, but.... Nice app. Used the print version of the Trailguide for class, and this is a nice adjunct with the quizzes. However, I would love to see them add nerves and blood vessels to the app. 5 stars if they included instructions for palpation (which is sort of the whole point of the Trailguide). Glad I purchased on sale (otherwise I don't think it's worth full price).

Pricey, but usable.. As a student of physical therapy this app is very convenient for on the go studying of anatomy, or a quick refresher of origin, insertion, etc. Two things it certainly needs to add is native iPhone 5 screen support, and the ability to view horizontally on both the iPad and iPhone. Other than that the other reviews have summed this up quite well.

This was good until. This app was helpful until they took away the bookmarks tool and never brought it back.

It’s ok.. It was a great app at first but now if I go to click on the app it just closes down. It’s updated but I have no idea why it’s not letting me use it now. It’s frustrating. The pictures and the concept is really nice though.

Massage therapist review. As a very busy massage therapist, I use this app to remind myself of OIAN's of muscles, as well as show my clients visuals of the muscles we worked in the session. Like any app there's always room for improvements, such as palpation instructions, but for me that isn't necessary. I don't use the quizzes or any of those things so I can't make comments about that. Over all, this app is amazing and it was worth every cent I paid for it!!

Crashes. With the new update this app not longer works. Not cool on the companies end as I paid for a product that shouldn’t have an expiration date!
