Long time satisfied user. I started using Sound Sleeper in 2012 with my 1st grandchild. I now have 3 grandchildren and I still love it ! It’s affordable and dependable. My husband and I even use the ocean sound or thunderstorm at night sometimes. I love how it gradually goes up in volume at the start and if you don’t have it on “continuous “, it will fade out gradually also. Also, a really awesome feature is, it plays even “off line” !!! Extremely great App !!!

Amazing. This was first shown to me by a photographer in the hospital. She used it on “Womb” to calm my son so he could get his photos taken, and it worked instantly! I downloaded it the same day and my husband and I use it almost every night. Any time my son is fussing for no apparent reason, I put on “Mountain River”, “Bubbling Brook”, or “Rain” and he’s out within the minute. Thank you for making my first parenting experience much easier!

Best app ever. I don’t know what it is about the sounds in this app, but my baby immediately stops crying and goes to sleep. I’m not kidding. The noises soothe him to sleep and we are able to go to sleep with them on too. I have this downloaded on all my devices and when I’m at a loss of how to calm him I just turn on his favorite sound and he is instantly soothed. Thank you sound sleeper for saving my sanity!

Mom of a fussy 2 month old. I hardly ever review but I had to give credit where it’s due . I literally just downloaded this app while my son was fussy . I put on the hairdryer, and no lie within ten minutes he is sleep . Not sleeping lightly either, he’s KNOCKED OUT ! I’m sitting here in awe because I really thought I was about to pulling another all nighter of trying to console my little one . I can’t wait to try out the other sounds the next time he is fussy . This is an amazing app, & from the all the other great reviews I have to say you all should pat yourselves on the back ! Great job !

Can’t live without it. So I’m just now leaving a review but I have had this app for so long almost 3 years about now? I’ve used it for my last two babies. Our youngest is 7 months old now (he’s our fourth) and as soon as we out on his Mountain River sounds he goes right to sleep! And plus it drowns out the noise of his older siblings as well. I love this app and I even use it for my naps for myself! So worth it

I’ve held onto this app for almost 9 years!. First it was my son I used this on, then I became so adjusted to using it on myself that once he grew past it I still found myself opening the app on my own! Lol I’ve used it multiple times on my many nieces and nephews (7 to be exact) and then babies in the nursery. This is a great app, even the free version! I’m so glad it’s transitioned with me through all of my iPhones. Highly recommend!

A Life Saver. I hardly give apps reviews because they either do just fine or I don’t care enough to write one but this app is different. This apps “Ocean” noise is the ONLY thing that will get my baby to sleep! It calms him down when he’s fussy, it was the only thing to stop him from screaming after an hour and a half on a plane ride (if you were on that plane ride I sincerely apologize it was the first time we rode by ourselves), and the only noise that he will fall asleep to at night! He has a noise machine with a projector in his room that plays an ocean noise but it’s more muffled than this one. This ocean noise sounds like you’re standing with your feet in the sand waiting for the water to hit your toes. I thought the free version would do us justice because 30 minutes is a long time, right? Wrong. The other night at 3am I caved and bought the full version because I wanted to go back to sleep but if I brought my phone back into the master bedroom, I knew our little one would wake up instantly. So I bought it, set it for continuous and went back to sleep for 4 more hours. This app is amazing and I will never stop using it! (I’ve had both of his grandmas download it and the nanny as well because it’s a godsend for them too :) )

Great for sleeping through the night!. I originally got this app back when my kiddo was a baby. I would put it on hair dryer mode to help her sleep through the night while her bassinet was next to the bed. Fast forward years and I still use the app, but now for myself. I love the rain sound, and I find that it helps drown out noises at night that might otherwise wake me. It’s much more convenient than a sound machine because I always have it on my phone, even when I’m traveling.

The update is a failure (fixed). Edit: the app developer fixed the issue in the latest update. Thank you. I bought this app a few years ago and have as loved it. However, the new update is a disaster. Since the update I can no longer play a sound continuously, which is something I paid for. I try to play continuously, the app tells me I need to restore my subscription, I hit restore, it appears to work, and then turns off after 1h15m. It does this every time. To make matters worse, the “report a problem button” is broken - it doesn’t do anything. I’m so disappointed. I no longer recommend this app.

Best thing ever!. 2 years ago I bought a travel size sound machine for my toddler and newborn that they slept with every night. We forgot it on one of our trips, leading us to finding this app. We bought the lifetime use for cheaper than a new sound machine, can put it on all our devices and it actually works better!! Every night we use the Rain sound for the kids and Thunderstorm for ourselves and found we just sleep so much better with it. It has a ton of options, suggestions for different age groups, and you can set it for unlimited time or just to help you fall asleep then turn off. I haven’t tried the option to monitor when the kiddos make noise for it to come back on, but I know it has many different features! I even recommended to my stepmom who had trouble sleeping with my dads snoring, and she said it’s made a world of difference in her sleep. I HIGHLY recommend this App. Best purchase I’ve made.

Purchase restored!. I have loved this app since 2014, and it’s held true through two kids. I knew the app developer would fix the bug that was preventing previous purchase restores. They were so very helpful during the week it was down, I wish more folks would have patience and compassion. We’re all just trying to do our best right now and flying off on something with a 1 star review is pretty crappy.

Finally. My seven week old son loves to fight sleep. He’s scared he’s going to miss out on everything in our big bright world. I downloaded this app last night after reading online white noise can help calm babies. It worked like a charm. After thirty minutes of crying non stop, I turned on the womb sound for new borns and amazingly he was calm within seconds. This morning he was fighting his sleep once again, so I turned on the app, the womb sound, and he’s out like a light! Thank you for such an amazing app!

Great!. I’ve used this app for almost 9 years since my oldest son was born. It’s been consistently the best sleep sound app I’ve been able to find, I have it on all of my devices. The recent update has broken my subscription but a quick message to Michael got it fixed in a flash. This app truly is the best!

This new update is a big NO For me!. I paid for the full version of this app years ago!! I use it everyday! Now they aren’t letting me have my unlimited time use to each sound I’m now limited to 75 minutes unless now I pay monthly!!!! Such a heartbreak I loved this app but I refuse to pay monthly for something I already paid for years ago and use daily AND THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO HEADS UP TO THIS CHANGE!!!! UPDATE:the new update came thru and I’m still not able to set my sounds to continuously go. Even after I restore it multiple times! So frustrating! I’ve been using this app everyday for the last 8 years!

The BEST. This app is just simply amazing. It is excellent. There’s a range of sounds to choose from - all of which are very soothing. I can’t say enough great things about it. I like that I have the variety to pick from, although, I do typically stick to a few faves. I’m one who loves to sleep with a fan on but my husband doesn’t because it makes him cold, so I can use this app and he actually enjoys it too. I often just use it for myself rather than just to soothe our baby. It makes me drift peacefully to sleep. I love the pictures that accompany the sounds as well! Very classic. A huge thank you to the developers of this app. You are simply wonderful.

Loved it until.... We loved this app and used it for our baby for over 6 months of his life. Then we didn’t use it for a while and updated IOS and phones. Now it keeps telling us to “restore our purchase” and when we do that, it says complete. But it doesn’t actually restore the premium app we paid for so we can’t use the premium features (like not having a time limit on the sounds) Very frustrating! Update: the developer reached out and helped solve the problem. Back to being our favorite white noise app!

Excellent!. My baby is over a year old and even now the second his jam is on he knows it’s time for sleep! Can’t thank you enough! The Night night album is our fav and always on repeat! The only one thing is since I’ve updated my software I can’t seem to play/pause from the control center on the iPhone 8 Plus. Kind of annoying as sometimes we just need to hit that button without opening the app. Please let me know if there’s a fix for it! Thanks!

Disappointed :-(. I bought this app years ago when my baby was born. He will be 9 in a few days. It saved my sanity many sleepless nights and to this day he asks me to play it if he is upset and can’t sleep. We used it A LOT during the shutdown and over the last year and a half during Covid. That being said, the newest update will not let me restore my purchase. I will be sad to let this app go if this glitch will not be fixed. Currently writing this review at 2:53am because I have to keep resetting the app. I will check back to see if the changes are made. Hoping I can continue to recommend this app to new mothers.

Puts my baby right to sleep!. I honestly love this app. I wish I had downloaded it sooner. I discovered this app while trying to calm my then 3 month old baby during a car ride. I played the hairdryer sound and after about 5 minutes he was sleeping! Fast forward to today, baby is now 7 months and we are still using it during car rides and even during nap time and bedtime at home. It just soothes him and calms him. I am so grateful for this app!

Our baby is currently 6 weeks old and we had some pretty tough nights before I found this, now I just pick my sound, snuggle her close and watch her drift off to sleep. My Secret Weapon for Colic. I never write reviews but I HAVE TO for this one. I found Sound Sleeper a few years ago for my now 3 year old (when he was about 5 months) and it was a miracle! It put him right to sleep every single time. NOW, I have a 6 week old little girl with colic. After trying seemingly everything I had just about given up. I downloaded this app for the heck of it, and when the hairdryer sound is on, not a peep! Smiling, happy baby! And she sleeps so good! Thank you for making this app, it has saved my sanity over and over with TWO babies now!!!

Life changing. The second day my baby was born a nurse introduced me to this app because she played the white noise (vacuum) sound to my baby for a picture and she immediately calmed down. Till this day (my baby is 7 months) and still use it to soothe her feelings and to sleep. Thankful for this app. ☺️

Best Sound Machine Money Can Buy. This is a simple but effective sound machine with just the right amount of features. To be honest once we found our favorite it’s been a two button play every night. Super simple. Super easy. Super effective! Sleep like a baby with this sound machine app.

A Sound Reward. I’m a busy mom; Sound Sleeper has become a part of my life. I use it every single night since my daughter was born four years ago. I was introduced to it from the photographer that took pictures of my newborn while at the hospital. It’s very relaxing. I love the range of sound options (although, I have my favorites). I love the options for continuous play or specified time. When it’s time for bed, I love that the sound drowns out the “noise” of my day. It’s not only for babies; my whole family enjoys it tremendously.

Must have app. I downloaded Sound Sleeper when our first child was born. He was quite colicky and this was one of the only things that would give him a break from the constant crying. Fast forward to our second child, fortunately she is not colicky. However, she is a night owl. Whenever it gets late I will turn on the Vacuum sound and she will go right to sleep. It was also the Vacuum sound that gave our son a break. Needless to say if you are a parent with a newborn this app is a must have.

A must for any parent!. I have had this app for 6 1/2 years since I had my first baby. 4 babies later and this is still my go to for naps and bedtime. It is especially great at settling a newborn with all the sound choices. I’ve even used it in the hospital after giving birth to settle baby. All of my kids use it to sleep and even must husband and I have better sleep using it. You will not regret buying this app.

Recommend to everyone and I even use it. This is… a god send of an app. My baby photographer showed it to us when baby was 1 week old. We all sleep so much better because of it. and baby is now 18 months! We still use the “womb” sound because it’s just so soothing! I (mama) love it too!

This app was a Godsend!. After so many rough nights with our firstborn son, we discovered he was calmed by the sound of the hairdryer. Somehow I stumbled upon this app that actually had the hairdryer sound on it and we’ve been using it for six years now. In fact, I use it just for me now because I got so used to it while the babies were in our room. So we will likely be lifelong fans! This tired mama is grateful.

Not just for babies. We got this to help our little one with sleeping during a trip, as I didn’t want to pack his sound machine. It worked great then and now I use it. Our second kid is a noisy sleeper and I have the monitor next to my bed. I use the thunderstorm one for me so it covers most of the silly sounds he makes but I can hear him cry loud and clear. My husband has switched from using his sound app to this one 👍👍

Fantastic app!!!. I never review apps, but after using this one for 7 years I thought it deserved to have my rating!! I downloaded this 7 years ago when my daughter was born because she had severe colic. It was such a life saver for us as it would help her fall asleep and kept her asleep. Now, no one in our house goes to sleep without sound sleeper!! The mountain river is my sedative and immediately makes me sleepy. I especially appreciate this as a shift worker who occasionally needs to block daytime noise! Here’s to another 7 years of sound sleep!!

Great with a couple bugs. Love this app, even paid extra for the great lullabies - I wish they were longer than 2 minutes each though. Also, it stops working a lot when I have the app in the background - it will stop playing all together or will buffer until I open the app again. Overall good app, use it every night with our 2 month old, wish it didn't have the little glitches.

Life Saverrr !. One of the best apps ever. My son is 3 and have been using this app since the day he was born. I personally was having trouble sleeping due to postpartum and this app really helped me sleep better and my son falls asleep more quickly with this app. I’ve tried tons of other ones and nothing has one me over like this one ! I just got a notification to review this app bc I've used it so many times, and I never give reviews but I thought I'd return the favor since this app has been such a wonderful gift! I've been using the rain on Sound Sleeper to get my son to sleep since he was a baby and he's turning 5 next month! I put it on EVERY night for him as it's become part of our bedtime routine and now I even turn it on when I go to sleep. Absolutely perfect! My most used app by far!

Thank you!!. As first time parents, we were desperate to get our baby to get the best sleep possible. We looked into purchasing sound machines, but the ease of always having it available on our phones/ iPad for travel or car rides was a big selling point when we found this app. We tried the free version, but had to get a subscription once our baby was sleeping long stretches with the vacuum sound. He is now 9 months old and still falls asleep with it playing. Highly recommend this app!!

Really works. I’ve had 4 babies and nothing I’ve tried has worked as well or as quickly as this app for getting any of them to sleep. I can’t stand making my kids cry it out (more power to you if you can) but I literally just turn the “womb” sound on on this app and my baby tilts her head to the side, closes her eyes, and goes to sleep AND she stays asleep!!!! I can’t even give enough praise! I hope this keeps working so well for me! I wish I would’ve had this app 3 kids ago!

Love It!. I purchased this app back in August 2017 when my son was only 2 months old. He is now 14 months old, we’ve been using it for that entire time, and we love it! We use it on the continuous play setting so it plays all night and it has truly worked miracles. My son has been sleeping through the night since he was 3 months old! We had a few technical issues with the family sharing, but the developer provided us with fantastic customer service and helped us resolve the issue. I highly recommend this app!

This is a lifesaver!. It used to be a struggle for my husband and I to get our daughter to sleep before we discovered this app. Now, I just put on the hairdryer noise and she is out like a light! I just wish unlimited duration was included in the free version. I usually just turn it off after she falls asleep, but sometimes like when we were on vacation, we wanted to leave it running in the hotel room.

Use it every night!. I use this every night when I put my daughter to bed. I even use it for myself! So many lovely sounds for adults and baby. There’s even a lullaby section in the premium version that is beautiful! It plays seamless sounds for however long you choose has a nightlight and sleep tracking. The best!

Works great for traveling with my terrible sleeper. My two year old has been a terrible sleeper since day one. He’s slept through the night less than 10 times. (Yes, we’ve tried it) but when we’ve been traveling for the holidays this app soothes the noises of relatives out enough for him to at least get to sleep. Even on the free version. Will be upgrading soon.

Love this app!. We use this app almost every night and sometimes during the day if the baby is fussy. I tried a bunch of other white noise apps and the sound quality just isn't there. Either they sounded fake or they didn't work for calming down the kids. This app worked from the first sound we tried. Our family favorite is the Rain sound. I'm using it right now! We've found it sounds best on bigger speakers or at least the iPad (versus our phones). I even use it in the car for long rides! Sounds great over the car speakers. Thanks for making something that actually soothes the baby! Love the categories of newborn, toddler, etc too.

The BEST app for new parents!. Ok I never write reviews but this app is seriously SO amazing. When our son was born he was suuuuper fussy and had a difficult time sleeping and would cry a lot. This app would instantly calm him down. I haven’t used it in a while and now my son is 15 months. He was having a difficult time napping so I played him the Thunderstorm noise and boom- asleep! Love this app and thank you for keeping it free!

Don’t waste your time!. Would give -5 stars if I could. We purchased this app years ago so we could have continuous play of their few sounds. The sounds aren’t the best either as they were clearly self-recorded. Anyway we purchased and it worked good but then…along came an update and their manipulative ploy to make money off a subscription purchase with more bells and whistles we don’t need and unless we purchase AGAIN, we can’t have the. continuous play feature we already paid for! Thanks for taking our money and then stripping us of the features we already paid you for. This is not an acceptable practice and we will now be removing this app from all our devices. Plenty of other great sound apps out there that won’t rip us off.

Lifesaver with kids. This app is a total lifesaver if you have kids, or if you need a fan/sound machine to sleep at night. I have used this app for naps in the car, overnights at a hotel, during power outages, etc. The variety of sounds is excellent. Our favorite (fan) sounds incredibly realistic and is the perfect white noise. I recommend this app to everyone!

This app has made all the difference for my sleep!. I have had trouble sleeping through the night since I've had kids which causes me a lot of anxiety! The rain option has worked best for me and I now sleep through the night! I honestly didn't think it was possible after 4 years of broken sleep.

Great for grown ups, too. I've struggled with getting to sleep and getting back to sleep for years. When I was a baby, my mother vacuumed while I napped and the sound of a vacuum cleaner still makes me sleepy which is why I tried this app. Thunderstorm is my favorite and I use it almost every night. If I ever have grandchildren, I'll recommend this app to my kids.

My favorite app. I have been using sound sleeper for quite some time now. First found it when my second child was just a baby, she will be 10 in a couple months! Amazing !!. I usually hate writing reviews but I felt it in my heart that I need to write one about this amazing white noise app !!! I came across this app at a mommy and me group class and let me say I have not stopped using it for about 4 years now . My first son started using it around 4 months and eventually we put it on his iPad every time for nap time or bed time we Turn it on . He is now 4 and can’t fall asleep with out it . Now we have our second son we used to co sleep with him and used this app for him as well ! He is now a year and half sleeping in his brother room and mommy and daddy of course can’t sleep with out it . Best money spent .

Awesome App!. I’ve been using Sound Sleeper since my 5 year old was born. She was not a good sleeper and my friend told me about white noise machines. She carried one everywhere and I thought “there has to be an app for that.” That’s how I found Sound Sleeper!! It’s by far the most user friendly app I’ve found - and the free version is all I’ve ever needed!! Highly recommended (by the way, we still use it EVERY night with our 5 year old and she LOVES the newer night light feature!! She can’t wait to “pick my color” every night!!

Best White Noise App That Worked For My Newborn. I happened to come across this app on one of those midnight feeds trying desperately to get my newborn son to sleep. The Shhhh white noise is the best one he will pop off to sleep to and will stay asleep for most of the night. The great thing is that you can have this sound going on a loop for 30mins (free version) or indefinitely if you paid a subscription. I did trial the free version for a bit but needed to have the sound going for an hour continuously to help get my son and also me off to sleep. Now he’s 5 months old and we all still use this white noise to help us get into the REM cycle sleep. Definitely worth every cent!!!

Best thing since sliced bread. Anywhere, anytime is when I use this app. Not only does it help soothe my baby but I find it very relaxing also, especially the thunderstorm or ocean sounds. I've recommended this to so many other mum now 😀

So so good!!!. This is the first time I’ve sought out reviewing an app. My 3.5 myth old daughter was crazy- over tired and nothing I did would help. She ended up being awake for 7 hours.. after 5 mins of this app she was asleep and has been for an hour now. It’s the womb sound that’s done it - my 6 and 8 year old asked to have it too 😂... thankyou!

Love this app!. Have been using this app for my twins for almost 2 years and it is amazing how well they sleep when the have that soft noise constantly playing to drown out the other sounds of our noisy neighbour hood. Also worked well when we travelled for over a month, quick to help them settle to sleep in each new place we went. Also such excellent customer service provided by the app creators to promptly answer any questions or help with any issues.

When they stir it turns on and they instantly fall straight back to sleep. Its a life saver. The ability to make your own sounds and use their sounds as background noise is perfect. Your child can have your voice with white noise behind!

It was great…. We’ve used this app for 6 years since our first child was just days old. Paid for the full version for continuous play and it has been great. For some reason it now keeps resetting back to 1hr and 14 minutes. I can select continuous play but it jumps back either straight away or through the night. My toddler is waking far earlier than usual and the app has always stopped. Can you please fix this?!

Can’t live without it now!. I’ve used this app since my son was born and now 5 years later it’s still a sleep cue for him as well as blocks out outside noises. I now use it religiously to block out my husband’s snoring! Really can’t go without it ever!!

Every Parent NEEDS this app!!. With my first born, I used a white noise machine which worked a treat for us. When our second came along, I downloaded this app and played via Bluetooth. The quality of the sounds is far superior than the two machines I had. The womb noise had him settled as a newborn within minutes, it was amazing! From 6 weeks he was sleeping through the night. And with a VERY loud and exuberant big brother in the house, we played this during the day sleep and not once has he been woken, he sleeps through it all. The brilliant thing about this being on your phone is it’s with you always. We still get decent sleeps in the pram and car if we need to. If I was going to a cafe for lunch, I’d play the market sound as I out him to sleep in that pram, and when we arrived the noise didn’t bother him. Still at 15 months we use it. It’s absolutely brilliant!! Thank you so much for creating this and making my life so much easier! :)

Love this app!. I absolutely love this app, it has been helping us get our now 2 year old to sleep ever since she was born, she hated white noise so we wanted something with many different options and the ocean option has been used every single day since she was born! Thank you!!!

Love it!. I use this App every day and night each time the kids go down for a sleeo. Then at night i put it on for all of us to fall asleep too. I love the Thunderstorm abd Mountain sounds. So relaxing and really helps us all have a relaxing sleep :)

Free version extremely annoying. This app has the potential to be a miracle worker, but I have not been able to use it properly as the pop ups to upgrade keep blocking the app from working. I would love to try the app out before purchasing, especially the listen mode, but after the sounds play once in listen mode, the pop ups come and it ceases to work. This is SO ANNOYING.

Great app. It’s an amazing app to put the baby to sleep. The only issue is the baby station and parent station do not work as the app crashes on the baby station. Please fix that bug and it will be an amazing app for the world with kids around

Long time user. I have been using this app and the version before this app came out for many years. I started using as white noise for my babies and now my kids and I all sleep with white noise using this app in our rooms! It is always reliable and has many great sounds available.

Perfect!. Just the perfect app to teach your baby to self settle. I have been using it since she was a few weeks old and putting her down to sleep is as easy as abc. Love the Listen feature. She’s been sleeping through thanks to this! Best app! Better than the expensive sound sleeper machines

Lifesaver. This app has been a life saver with both of my kids. One was a terrible sleeper, but at least this (he liked Vacuum) would settle him some of the time, especially in the car. My second sleeps very well, with just a little Mountain River to help her fall asleep or resettle and she’s out like a light. Love it, thanks.

Shame about the latest update. This was such a great ap and was used religiously in our house. Sadly the recent update has rendered it near useless - we had paid for the full version previously which allows you to have continuous play, but with the new update we have to ‘restore’ previous purchase every time we want to go to continuous play. Even then the ap is automatically turning off after a period of time which wakes our baby. So lots of sleepless nights since the update sadly. Until this bug is fixed (I have reported it) the ap is not an asset. Two weeks ago, before the update I would have given this 5/5.

5 years and still using it!. I first downloaded this for my grandson when he was 1 week old, and still at 5 years old it puts him to sleep within minutes! I love this app, and love the variety of noises.

Excellent app. I’ve been using this app since my daughter was only a couple of weeks old (now 7 months) for all her naps and night sleeps and think it’s brilliant. I recently had an issue with the app not working correctly on a new device and received a very quick reply and solution so excellent customer service too.

Best App for parents!!. We have used this App for both our kids over the last 5 years, and without fail it has always helped. With my second son I can honestly say it has helped him sleep through the night with transitioning with sleep cycles. We used it from the day he was born, the vacuum cleaner works best for him and always calms him down. Be it during a nap, in the car or even a pram when we are out and about. There was a bug but the owners were quick to fix and also were very responsive. The latest update is fantastic. Highly recommend to all parents!

Have used for 7 years now.. Love this app, have used for two of my kids now, with my eldest needing that comfort going to sleep and some white noise in morning to help her sleep in ( as we have a noisy, creaky house). It relieved my anxiety as a first time mum, always worried about every noise waking my child. I even use it, if catching a quick wink of sleep in day, when the house is noisy. Easy to use, lots of sounds to choose from and love the continuous play mode.

Best app!. I have apparently used this app over 200 times now 😂. Clearly I love it! I don’t just use it for my daughter during her sleep but I also use it for myself. Game changer for sleep. Initially I started using this app For my kids before I invested in white noise machines for their rooms. This app has been a life changer not only for car naps/fighting day sleeps etc, but also for myself. My youngest has been coming into my room at night with nightmares, pop this on and we are both asleep and out like a light. I now just put it on when I’m going to bed. We predominantly use the Rain sound and it’s easily the best calming sound. My parents also have the app now and use it when the kids have a sleepover at their house.

Not impressed. Bought this app several years ago and just three days ago it updated and now the app no longer works on continuous play as it’s now subscription-based. Totally unacceptable. Had I known that the new version was going to be subscription-based, I never would’ve updated it. It should’ve been a separate app to subscribe to.

Our kids bedtime is now ruined!. Loved the app until this recent upgrade. We have been using this app for more than 5 years now for both our kids, which they listen to all night long (even purchased for continuous play) and helps keep them asleep all night. Very disappointed with the unexpected upgrade to a monthly/yearly subscription use. Now we have to look for another app/ lullabies that’s affordable because that is way too expensive to pay for.

No longer working. I have had this app for 4+ years and paid the “one time fee” for unlimited play time. Now the app says I need to restore my purchase, but nothing happens when I click restore purchase. Also nothing happens when I click “report a problem”. Worked great for 1 night after update but now won’t even make a sound at all no matter what setting I use.

Cannot Use Features I Previously Paid For. I bought the full version shortly after downloading the app almost 2 years ago. With the new update I no longer have access to the full version without shelling out almost $21. There should have been an exemption from the new payment system for users who bought the full version before the new update. I will no longer be using this app because of this nonsense.

Auto-subscription!!!!. I was not informed that this would auto subscribe. I do not use this app anymore because my baby is older and I was just charged $7.49!! Ridiculous. I deserve a refund, but I don’t know how to request one.

Brilliant!!. We have been so thankful for this app... Used in in the car and for naps and nighttime sleep. It was great to have the options for the sounds as our baby grew. Highly recommend!

Good app - Eats Battery. We have used this all since our twins were born almost 8 years ago. It has always been bad at sucking battery but it has gotten worse and worse with each iteration. I would love a battery-saver mode where it’s just the sound playing and not the active listening or whatever is chewing up battery life.

Convenient. I use it multiple times every day, it’s so convenient because I always have my phone with me. Especially if baby falls asleep while we’re out for a walk.

Full version. I don’t like the fact that I have purchase a full version to have more time.

Great for mom and baby!!. I have used the app to put white noise on the stereo in our car, and focused the speakers on the rear passenger side where my sons car seat was to help him fall asleep while driving. He’s older now and I have a dedicated sound machine in his room, but now I use the app for helping me to fall asleep. I love the ocean and thunderstorm sounds!!

Great App. I use this app each night to get my little one to sleep, the variety of sounds is great. I used it for a couple of months before deciding that it was worth paying the subscription fee to get the continuous playing option. I love the idea of the parent and baby monitor, however I’ve only gotten it to work successfully a couple of times so far. The Hush sound is perfect for in the car to soothe my baby when I am driving and he is in the back in his car seat! Saves a lot of stress for both myself and baby!

issue in new update. This is a perfect app. i have used it for both of my kids. but I noticed something in the new release. I noticed after this update the sound volume is too low. at first i thought maybe there is something wrong with my phone but then I tested it on 2 other phones on it was the same. please fox this guys.

Annoying user experience. Two things to fix to make it great 1. While one sound is playing, don’t make it stop if we’re just browsing elsewhere in your own app. 🤦‍♂️ if I’m looking at other areas of your app, I’m not necessarily wanting to stop hearing the sound I chose. 2. If your app would continue playing its sound when we play something else, it would also be better ( other apps can do it). If I want hear the sound of water to calm down and focus but still want to play an audio book, why won’t your app do it?

Simple, baby loves it.. There isn’t too much to this app, but it gets the job done. This is my baby’s favorite white noise, and sometimes the vacuum cleaner is the only thing that will calm him.

Great sounds. Use this for my toddler, infant and myself! The kids love it and the sound quality of the tracks are great. Our favs are the ocean and rain. I also use it when I travel for work and stay overnight in hotels and need some ambient noise. Sometimes it’s a bit glitchy when I’m using it in conjunction with other apps (turns off for a bit).

Newest Update. I’ve been using this app forever, I paid to use it for unlimited time. Now with this new update my purchase is gone and it’s back to 75min play time without a monthly or yearly subscription! Super disappointed. I also found this out as I was trying to sleep, so in the moment I spent the 10$ for the month just so I could sleep. Will be looking for another app in this months span. My previous purchase should have been honoured.

Great app, few glitches. I’ve used this app for both my kids, it’s great. This version though does not allow me to use the parent and baby remote, that was a great function i used with my first baby but for some reason my phone and iPad will not find each other. A manual way to connect the two would be a great added feature to overcome this issue.

Works for our baby. I had bought the app on my last phone which was a Samsung, when we had our first child. Now I have an iPhone and cannot get my subscription switched over. I had emailed twice but no replies. So that’s why I gave the 3 stars. Sounds are good, but I’ve really only used the mountain river .

Great app for new moms!. After having my first baby, this app became very useful when getting the little one to go down.. it’s soothing for momma, too! There’s a time limit of 30 minutes with the free version which might not sound like a lot.. but it’s perfect for our needs.

One of my most used apps. I started using this app when our grandson came to our house. He is able to take an uninterrupted nap and sleep soundly at night. When I found I had trouble sleeping due to unfamiliar noises in our new house or to my husband’s snoring, I started using Sound Sleeper for myself too. It is great.

Sound Sleeper. We found out about this amazing app from the photographer at the hospital, and we couldn’t be more grateful! Since my son was born we have been using sound sleeper. He’ll be 1 in 26 days, and we still use it till this day. Highly recommend!!

Can’t restore previous purchase. Updated this app maybe a week ago now and all of a sudden it’s asking me to pay monthly? Or a yearly fee. Great for my infant and me too. Just like the title says, this works great for both of us. Mountain River is great white noise that knocks us both out quickly. And the cricket sounds on Pond really remind me of the quiet around my home when I was a kid. Helps calm my mind when simply thinking too much is keeping me awake

Best getting to sleep aid. I’ve used sound sleeper since my first child was born and though my kids don’t really need it, I still use it because they get to sleep faster with it! I even use it for myself and love the soothing sound choices!

Easy to use & good selection of sounds. We used this so often with our baby that once I upgraded my phone, I kept my old one just so I could have a spare device with this app! Now that my babies are older, I use it for white noise to quiet my mind at night. Thunderstorm is our favorite!

Not continuous anymore…. Oh no, this is disappointing:( I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review but I unfortunately had to on this one. I purchased this app back in 2019 for my infant, and loved that I could buy it for continuous play. Such a life saver in those days. But now it only lets me do a little over an hour and is asking me to buy it again? I just used this back in November when traveling with my son and it was working then. What’s going on?

Great app!. Use the app every night for white noise. Sometimes with iOS updates a glitch occurs in the app but the developer of the app is super helpful in getting that fixed. It’s unusual these days to get such prompt excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

A great soother!. Our baby heard a real hairdryer and stopped fussing immediately, so we tried the hairdryer on this app and it works a treat. Honor our purchase!. We paid for this app years ago. When we bought it, we were given full access with a one time purchase. Now they changed to a subscription model, but instead of letting us keep access and honoring our purchase, they limited our access and are trying to make us sign up for monthly or yearly payments. That just seems totally unfair, since we agreed to a one time payment for full access.

I like the fade in and out feature because it doesn’t wake my baby up by scaring her. Also this app plays continuously which allows me to get a sound sleep as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We Can’t Sleep Without It. I love this app. It’s gotten me though two babies and now I’m as dependent on it as they are. It has a really nice variety of sounds and it very user friendly. I did pay to upgrade it, but I have NO regrets in doing so. Well worth the money for saving mine and my boys sleep.

The best. My husband and I are on our second child and we have tried many sound machines over the years. This is by far the best one you can get one your phone.

Good app - difficult customer service. I really enjoy this app and like the variety of noises available. I use it when traveling to block out airplane noise or noisy hotels. My only problem is that the “restore purchase” feature doesn’t work, and customer service won’t return my emails. I paid for it once, but I am frustrated at the prospect of having to re-purchase something I already bought, just because of a developer error.

The best. I’ve had this app on my phone for over 3 years. It’s amazing for on the go when you’re out and about or traveling!! We have two kids now and I’ve used it with both of them. I actually use the thunderstorm one for myself to fall asleep some nights!

Fantastic!. This app has been so helpful for our newborn baby. Sometimes he just fusses and nothing we do helps. I downloaded this app and within 20 seconds he was soothed and sleeping soundly with the vacuum sound! And it's free so you can't beat that! I tried other free ones and they weren't usable due to constant ads running!

Use for both of my girls!. I started using this app 4 years ago with my first and now and using with my second daughter. We love it and it works so well!!! From time to time my husband and I will use it when we are having trouble sleeping or stay in a hotel. Best sound app out there.

Use it at every session. I have been using this app for newborn sessions for a couple years and it’s fantastic. Some newborns prefer the womb sound while the other fussier babies like the shhhh shhhh sound. Parents always ask about it
