Too many ads. Downloaded this app and liked the content, but the ads are constant and you can’t even finish an article without being frustrated with the format. I gave it a week of reading and just deleted it this morning. A shame, but greed ruins the original intent of untainted news. Read TH on their website, it is much easier.

Is this going to get fixed?. The app now crashes when you open it up. For about the last 3 days it will open, but you couldn't open any of the articles. Quite a few times, trying to open the lead/top story & only the story below would open. I love the website & content, just wish it was easier to access on the app/phone. Update: sometimes you listen & get the app to work, most times not. I still hold out hope for this site.... When are we going to be able to view & add to comments on the articles? Update: again crashing when opening app. Can't even view an article. I'm convinced you don't really want mobile readers. I have zero time to read on a computer. So, you'll lose loyal readers like myself.

Functional Rating Only. First, let me say I love the content. But what good is having great content if the app is always crashing. Lately, I have to go to their website to read the articles. No wonder the message is not getting out.

So many bugs. Terrible app. The ads work better than the links to articles do. 99% of the time, if u click on something, nothing will happen. There are more bugs in this app than in Hilary clintons tw@t. Fix these problems please so I won't have to watch the crappy liberal news on tv. Thanks

Crashes & no comments functionality?. This app crashed within 5 minutes of my download. Also, where is the ability to comment on articles or stories. There are problems with the comments functionality on the website, too. I love Townhall & was even one of the founders of my local area meetup group several years back, but this app & the website need a lot of work.

Excellent Informative News. Townhall will now be my go to place for the latest controversial news. It is defiantly very informative with it knowledgeable staff writers6. The only problem is they need basic programmers to reformat application compatibility’s for noble devices. It is much easier to read articles from standard website on a traditional computer or laptop, but not their iPad or iPhone application. I see Townhall is still running on 1.0 version.

Page Two. I have an iPad. The first page is great. Then I tap on a story The second page is too large for the screen. I have to school to the right to get the end of a sentence. Back and forth. Yuck.

An app that makes news enjoyable!. easy access to conservative commentary and hilarious cartoons! Love this app!

Crashiest app. Love the content, but it's guaranteed to crash at least once while trying to read the columnists. There is no error message, broken link notice, or anything if a link is bad. The app just crashes. And the video popup ads are beyond annoying. I read this first thing in the morning, and do not like being involuntarily subjected to a video ad with sound. Otherwise, it's fairly easy to navigate, and does what it is supposed to do. So, three stars. Get rid of the crashing and pop ups, and I'll bump to 5.

Application. I have been trying to register but the app will not accept any user id’s I put in. Since this is only a news app it seems that having to create an account is overkill.

Keeps crashing. Or not loading to begin with. I’ve done a hard restart a few times, and have also deleted/reinstalled a few times. All it does is keep trying to open to no avail. Not worth the aggravation. Time to move on

Update needed.. Please. Please! Please!!! Update this app. I use it daily but I'm tired of it crashing all the time. Great website, articles, columns and content. I love Townhall but I expected much more from Salem. Definitely would update to 5 stars if Salem took the time to do an update.

Great content but crashes..... I love the content Townhall offers, however, I had to give it 2 stars because of the frequent crashes. Almost every time I try to share certain stories it dumps me out of my post. Needs to be fixed.

Great App. For those looking for great app to get wonderful conservative commentary and articles, this is the app for you!

VIP access. As a VIP member of Townhall, I like to access that content. However, neither the iPhone app (iPhone 11 Pro) nor the iPad app (12.9 iPad 5th generation) allows me to log in to my VIP account. Even if I try to access that content by trying to in through a browser instead of through the app, I am unable to log in.

What happened?. I have been a fan of the website for years, and when I found the app I started using it every day! I loved it even though I could never get the "all columnists " section to work. For a couple of months now it crashes whenever I try to open an article or column. I literally have not been able to read a single thing for weeks!

Annoying Advertisements. I really "used" to enjoy the site however after putting up with the constant pop-ups and "dazzling" ways of pushing advertising in front of your face, I gave up and went back to the dot com site. At least there I can control the advertising somewhat.

WILL. NOT. LOAD.. That’s all there is to it. This app has refused to load for days. The wheel just spins and spins and spins some more. I have shut off and turned on my phone...and it spins. I have eliminated and reloaded the app...and it spins. I have reached my end and have deleted an app I have used every day for years.

Crash and freeze. Unreliable app Crashes a lot . Click in a link to a main story the app often fails to open the story. Instead there is either a full page as you are forced to view for a period of time or a horizontal bar displays which essentially makes app and stories useless. Too bad a good news service has a poor performing app.

Crashes every time. This app has needing updating for a long time (think years). Much better to just go through the web browser - otherwise you're guaranteed multiple crashes during use.

Too many ads and login broken. I tried this app but there are too many noisy ads that pop up. I just want to read the news without slot machine noisy game ads pop up. Very distracting especially in a waiting room. I also thought creating a log in would help. Not so. It kept asking me to log in so I figured I needed a new password. Nope password reset did not work. I deleted this crappy app.

Bias Truth?. The making news great again app! Informative, thought provoking, and unbiased truth. Some would point out that conservative news is bias on the right side of things, but truth isn’t bias it’s just the truth.

Great conservative source. Full of breaking headlines and commentary on current events. Quickly becoming my go to source for Conservative information.

Needs Update. I like the site; I review it every morning. But, I occasionally get an annoying reminder from Apple about it not running on future IOS updates. So, here I am telling you to keep it working!

Frequently crashes. Great content, but the app crashes frequently when I try to view an article. Looking up the list of all columnists causes the app to crash every time. Please fix it!

Columnist link crashes. . .. Despite other complaints that are quite old, Townhall has never bothered to fix this problem. Click All Columnists, then click a letter of alphabet. Crash. I'm not wasting my time anymore. I don't know why the columnists put up with this.

Cannot make comments in the App. I like what TH has to offer. It is a fresh break from leftist propaganda. But they should fix it so one can comment on columns in the app, instead of having to open it up in Safari.

Townhall. I was very disappointed with the last major update a few months back. I enjoyed the political cartoons and now they are gone eith no mention why.

Time to update!. Are you going to update the app to work with iOS11??? You continue to advertise the app on the website but as you should know, it won't work when people update their iPhones/iPads with the new iOS.

No audio disappointment.. I’ve been listening to the Townhall news updates on the website daily for a long time. I downloaded the app hoping for a more convenient listening option. Very disappointing that there is none.

Great app! Thought provoking content. Every day you will find intelligent commentary on on the news events and people who effect ( and sometimes infect) our world. It's refreshing to have a place to go where perspective is not presented as "news", but is openly and honestly offered as opinion.

Freezes up all the time. Ever since I upgraded to IOS9 the app freezes up all of the time. Cannot use it all. No problems before IOS9 Title: All messed up IOS. 13.1.2. is all messed up. The article supporting the headlines is all out of proportion. Can only become close to readable in landscape, and then it is too large of a font to read. I always use the vertical, but cannot see but a few words. Virtually not usable. Too bad, I used to like Townhall.

Buggie App. Guaranteed to crash on the article you really want to read. Even the feedback page in the App Store crashes. Love the content but have no patience for the nonsense. Obviously they don't care because complaints go back a long time.

Please get an editor for the articles!. Good material. Seems fair (not blindly for Trump - some good hit pieces on him as well as on the left). But for Pete's sake, could someone please edit the articles before they are published? Nearly every article regardless of the author (and that is no exaggeration) either has grammatical errors, misuse of wording, or misspelled words. One would think they would want to put their best face on their work...

Just a few things. I personally think this app performs well. I read that it crashed for a lot of people in the reviews but I haven’t had this experience. I would suggest adding a search bar so myself and others can search for our favourite columnists and/or revisit articles. I also would like to see that when I click on the columnist section that I get a list of the actual writers rather than simply a bunch of articles like a repeat of the home page. I’d like to read the writer bios and see their articles in one spot. Other than those two things, this app is good on updating daily and making sure its readers get the news they want.

too small. I have a 9 inch iPad and this thing only takes up the space of a cell phone in the middle

GET IT TOGETHER!!!. This is ridiculous! This app used to be great but every time I search for an specific columnist it crashes. This is not a new issue...this has been going on for THREE YEARS!!! I've deleted the app and reinstalled it on three different devices and it's the same crap each time. You know, it appears you all are using the same IT Support contractor Hillary used to make her private server secure. Get it together!!

What’s with the HUGE, magnified type-set. Have been a reader for years via on-line TH website. Downloaded the app recently to my iPadPro & iPhone. App works fine on iPhone; on iPadPro the print is not scaled to the device, nor with any utility function to shrink/rescale. It is so huge that you are constantly having to utilize vertical and horizontal slider bars just to read an article/commentary.

Cartoons?. The desktop web site has links to cartoons. This app has no menu for cartoons that I can find. This forces me away from the app and to a desktop and a browser. Maybe there’s an explanation but I don’t use the app that often because is lacks other features of the website.

Too much crashing. And now two days in a row none of the articles open. Just going to delete the app at this point. Updated to say: now it crashes on the main screen if you just try to scroll? Are you ever going to attempt to fix this app?? I enjoy reading articles and commentaries on this app. What I don't enjoy is that certain commentators writings cause the app to crash. Consistently. There are several writers that no matter when you click on their article (new one, old one, doesn't matter), the whole app crashes. If an article gets removed from the website it sometimes still appears on the app and just gives an error message. Content-wise, a good app for those interested in politically conservative commentary. Technical-wise, needs work.

Update. Love this website BUT for some reason it takes forever to update their stories. I have to delete the page and re install in order for updated stories. It’s getting very frustrating. I know it’s not my iPad because it’s a new one. Please fix asap!!!

Needs update for iOS 11. Great app. No crashing at all for me. Puts all the content from the website in a handy app. Won’t open for me though now that I’ve updated my iOS to 11 or else it’d get 5 stars

Can’t login with my google account. Absolutely love the website but when I try to logon through the comments section it could not use my Google account or my Twitter account to establish my login. If you were able to fix this error this website would be perfect.

Useless. This is an update to a previous review. Love the content, but I can't read any of it because the app crashes so much. Has been this way for months. At some point you need to fix the app. Hard to believe but it's actually gotten worse over time. The app is pure garbage, don't bother downloading. Just go to the website.

New Townhall app. Worse yet! I can't even open up the application without running into an advertisement! In between each article is another advertisement which seems to crash every time I scroll the news application! Whoever release this newest version on the public should be fired! Guess I will just have to wait until they get their stuff together and fix it! Not worth having on my phone! Greed got to Townhall! When is this going to be fixed.. A week later it is .. Looks like Townhall is more interested in advertisement revenues than readers! You new app with all the averts and lookups aren't worth a one star rating!

FAR Too Much Ad Bloat!. Ads are EVERYWHERE. Totally distracting and overwhelming to a good experience with the app. I'd probably pay for the app if the price was reasonable but that isn't even an option. It's too bad because TH delivers good content.

Gutters. I deleted this app cause I got sick and tired of seeing a gutter advertisement every 5th headline!!!!!

Slow Down. Getting message that this app will slow performance of iPhone. Developers need to update to make full compatible/compliant.

Spam & spammy ads. Ever third time I look at the app, I get an obnoxious ad fowler a game. Plus, They add you to an email spam list, even if you select no , and ignore Unsubscribe requests.

Not Optimized for new iPad. App works much better on my iPhone but is horrible on the iPad. It needs to be optimized for the new iPads

Crashes on Columns. Dear advertisers, this app crashes when trying to read a column. I wouldn't pay for that. It crashes on the columns that have the townhall logo next to them. I have iOS 7.1.2. Please address ASAP.

IPad Pro. I have a new IPAD Pro and the app doesn’t allow me to sign into my VIP account and the screen viewing is small.

crash master. When your outfit sends out emails with ads claiming to have found "secret codes in the Bible that cure cancer" it undermines your credibility as a conservative news organization. The term "snake-oil salesman" comes to mind.....

IPhone OK / iPad unusable. There is something very wrong with how the app works on the iPad. It’s really unusable.

CRASHES ON ALL COLUMNISTS. If, under "columnists", I click "all columnists", the list is empty and then the app crashes. It's been going on for about a week.

Large print on iPad!. Why does this app have such large print? You can’t read an article without moving the article back and forth and up and down!!!
