Love it!!!. Perfect!

Seeing things in a new way. This is a great app for seeing your photos come alive with color blocking, line definition, cropping and more. Imagine changing the background paper that your image is sitting on. You can switch texture, color and depth to create as many different looks for your image with just one tool of this app! And this app has a huge tool box to enable your creativity to reach beyond your image. Let your eyes see the choices!

Not bad. Nice effects and cool presets. The load and save times are pretty slow though. I am on a 4s and my screen will auto lock before the photo saves. Hopefully that gets fixed at some point

Fantastic paint filters!. I don't normally write reviews, and I usually don't like art filters -- paint filters especially -- but Moku Hanga consistently produces gorgeous, natural results! This is definitely worth the 5 stars and the purchase! 👩👍

If there were 10 stars I would give this app a 10!. I have only experimented with a handful of pictures that I took in Thailand and Vietnam and it is fabulous. I feel like I am looking at a piece of art! It is the best!

Great app. I am loving how a throw away photo can turn into a piece of art. I use this app a lot. I do wish there were a "Hokusai" effect, but you can get pretty close. Glad I took a risk and bought this.

Big Love!!! One of the best!. Love this app. So much can be done with it. From subtle to dramatic. I do hope they can make it a little speedier to save the file. I often fall asleep while saving. Still worth it.

Need improvement. It’s cool but the texture it’s always the same. Just frames, colors and tones are different.

So happy!. I've always loved Japanese woodblock art, so when I came across this I had to give it try. It elevated the two photos I tried it out with from mediocre to interesting and beautiful art. I can't wait to use this with the photos I'll be taking on an upcoming trip!

One of the best. This app does a fantastic job of turning your pictures into art. Take the time to explore the different features and save your favorites as presets.

Awesome job. This little toy makes some extremely impressive images. Rendering is pretty quick, and the quality is so much better than I was expecting. Still getting the hang of which types of originals work best, but even the not-so-great ones are cool as heck!

LOVE this app!. I love the ease of use and results with this app. I have another app by jixipix- vintage style- and love it as well. I am planning on getting all of their apps- they are really unique. The one "issue" I have with this app is how long it takes to render and save. It is r e a l l y long. I just bought it for my iMac and hope it won't take as long to save. There are a few other things I wish I could do but no matter- it is still a five star game and developers. Oh- another thing- if you have any problems they get back to you ASAP! That in itself is unusual.

Create Japanese style prints from photos. Great way to stylize your photos into Japanese style prints.

Nice app with an original look. I use around 50 different photo apps and it seems that after a while so many filters seem to be duplicated in many apps. It isn't easy to find something that gives a photo a unique and original look. This filter is different. It may not work with every image but when it does, you get some incredible results. Experiment with different styles and adjustments and you'll have one of a kind images that look hand painted. Try their Haiku app as well.

Excellent App. I have been able to take some pictures and make them amazingly beautiful. I download many picture apps and most are deleted. This is one exception.

Fun, different, stylish....loves it!. This is an ap that turns your pics into amazing art and with easy. Updates and I've never had a crash not even one. That's rare with any ap. thanks hope to see more apps like it or with new stylin' art.

I'm creating art just like what I saw in Japan!. Amazing. An incredible amount of options allows you to edit images in a range of palettes, outline thicknesses, and hues. I've done half a dozen already and I'm hooked. If you like Japanese block printing, this app is perfect, versatile, and easy to use.

Manipulate Your Reality. The screen shots don't do justice to all this app can do. For those who like the unique and want a distinct and original look to their photos, this one is worth it.

Super results, easy & fun to use. As a fan of classic Japanese block prints this app was a have to have app. The results are spectacular. The adjustments provide real creativity and the random feature is just plain fun.

Hard to believe what this app creates!. Someone turned me on to this and JixiPix . Never seen anything like it. Turns your photo into all kinds of Japanese wood block print effects - but that doesn't say how gorgeous and amazing ... how effortless. Works so well, really puts most other photo apps to shame, especially the c**p, the copycats. Totally unique, JixiPix has Mac & PC desktop demos of all their apps on website. Just works, boom, automagically!

Beautiful App!. I love this app! There are so many artistic variations you can perform on a photo. You will never have a boring pic again with app. It's a little different from the others. Get it--you won't be disappointed!

Addictive. I've never really paid much attention to iPhone photo manipulation apps until this one came along. Absolutely amazing. Lots of features. Love to "roll the dice."

Moku Hanga. Excellent results and very easy to use. Results are superior to other apps that have "sketch" filters or "cartoon" filters. Very clear help file that is quickly accessible. Highly recommended.

Wonderful and unique. A favorite photo editing app! Creates such wonderful and unique edits! I've never used anything like this and I have used a lot of the photo editors in the App Store. Creates beautiful photos!

Most fun app ever. Some of us don't even want to think about trying to learn how to paint masterpiece. So we take photos with our iPhone and import the image into a wonderful editing program. One of my favorite apps and I have several.

Very well done. I very much like the effect this app creates. I would be even happier if I could "dial down " the overall effect closer to the original - a more subtle change sometimes.

Fabulous for quilters!. I use this app to change photos into woodcuts because woodcuts give me an idea of the color areas and stitch techniques I would use to make a photo into a quilt. It's awesome!

Outstanding effects!. Of all the photo editing apps that I've tried, this one has, by far, the best graphic effects available. They are not your standard overlay filters; they are overlays on steroids! If you are a fan of Asían style art, you will love this app! I used 'random' repeatedly, just to get a feel of its capabilities, and was so impressed by how many very different looks were presented! And they look absolutely stunning! This will be my new favorite go-to for photo enhancements.

A "specialty" high class app. My Friends love their portraits done in Moku Hanga. Pets work well too. Kids love it. I recently entertained three children at a wedding by taking their photos and letting them edit those photos in Moku Hanga. Then we sent the final product to their parents.

Great fun and wonderful results. I am relatively new to apps and photo editing software, but I am super impressed with this app. It is so easy to take a fairly common photo and turn it into a beautiful replica wood block print. The app works wonderfully and produces impressive results. How wonderful to take simple photos and easily convert them into gorgeous works of art. Love it!

Love it. Great app, great results! Fixes?, Allow adjustments to be made to a few of the options in saturation or line strength instead of rendering when you change each slider. Suggestions? How about a version to use on my computer so I can print very large images?

Addicting!. This app is so easy & fun to use. I've gotten many compliments when I've sent or posted a picture I've edited with Moku Henga - it makes me look like a better photographer/artist than I really am!

Wonderful photo manipulation. I highly recommend this and other apps by this dev. Great features including random select, return to previous random preset, square cropping. But the effect is superb and very evocative of Hiroshige And others of the period. The samples shown do not do this app justice!

Beautiful print effects. I always get something nice out of this app. Choose a simple, colorful image and make a print worthy of the ukiyo-e school. I would give it more stars but I’m sorry to say the UI could use a refresh. Dive in and give it a try because if you don’t get a cool image, you’ll get ideas for the next one!

Amazing w/2 Wishes!!. This an awesome app and it saves the ORIGINAL Size including quality of your pics!!! I would call this a Sketch-Like app with LOTS of Filter strength options to change them up! It also offers Mask/Overlay options w/Coloring of ANY Color! Another great feature is being able to apply a Texture paper to your pics !! Also can save all your steps to a preset. **Wishes: Offer more Texture Paper w/White Center area or let us use OUR OWN Texture Papers (So Texture doesn't go on someone's face) And BETTER YET Offer a option to Mask/Brush off our own shapes!!! Then this app would get. 5-Star from me 😊

This is a genius app. I've been using this app for over a year, and I still find it fascinating and useful for my art. I love to watch the transformation of ordinary snap shots into unique, unusual images. I haven't run across another app even remotely similar.

I love this app. I love this app because it saved my times so much!! Usually I had to go to my computer and do all the editing but now I have this app and I won't be using my computer that often anymore!

JixiPix have created a classic!. All of their apps are amazing. Use them all on a more than regular basis and have yet to have an image produced that I was not happy with. Get this and all of their other apps too, you won't be disappointed. Eventhough they can be a bit slow on my iPhone 3GS they still get a 5 star rating simply due to their amazing results. Keep it up JixiPix and I'll keep supporting you!!!

Different than other photo apps. Moku Hanga makes even ordinary pics into works of art. I recommend anyone who's considering getting this app to do it. You won't be disappointed with the results. My one complaint is that it takes a few seconds for the picture to render-but that's a small thing compared to the results. Still gets 5 star rating from me.

So much fun!. I love Jixipix! I have 8 of their apps for mobile and Mac. I plan to buy more as long as they keep offering them! I have so much fun changing my plain old photos into works of art! Moku Hanga is my latest purchase and my favorite so far! It completely transforms my pictures and makes me want to take more just to see what gets created! Thanks Jixipix! Beautiful app!. I've only been using this app for a few hours but already I'm in love with it. I'm a professional photographer and artist and I use various editing apps to create new pieces. One of my favourite apps now. Lovely to use, beautiful effects.

Many possibilities. This app is really different and according to how you use it, there are many possibilities for an image result. Personally, I like the subtle qualities it offers vs. the over-fried that so many do. The ONE THING I would like to see is- NAMES for the PAPERS. That would really help in remembering your favs and choosing a paper to begin with. Then 5 stars would be my rating.

Can’t access my photos on my phone. Looks to be a great app but I am unable to access my own photos. I can only use photos that I take with this app so I am disappointed.

Disappointing.... Wasn't expecting to see stolen food on a Jixipix table. This app is like a mixture of 'Shock my pic' and ToonPAINT. Shame.

Worth getting. Endless possibilities, easy to use, and lots of fun! Lost a star because it is a little slow to process and quite slow to save, but that might be the trade off for high res.

Garbage. If you don’t make Japanese prints then this is perfect for your watercolour like images. If you make Japanese prints this app is useless. It renders your photos into watercolours and not any type of print I’ve ever seen. For the price not worth it. I also realize it’s a bit of a gag app but if you’re going to tell people it makes your pictures look like Moku Hanga then it’s misleading.

Moku. Works fine though a little slow while saving but it has to calculate the fx algorythm...!

The rendering needs to disappear. It ruins the applications purpose, things need to be snappy. Work on optimizing it, I'd like to see live editing

Moku Hanga - it's great. Possibly my most used and favorite app, so far! My only gripe is the slow rendering, but the results are worth the wait.

Corrupts your iPhone!. Do not download! It will corrupt your iPhone and you will have to do a full restore. After downloading this app yesterday, my phone rebooted and would not get past the reboot screen. Don't download unless you want the same problem I had. Download at your own risk.

Incredible app!. This is my "go to" app for adjusting photographs. It does an amazing job and it's very easy to use. It let me be a creative as I want to be and I absolutely love the results.

Interesting app. This has different results than the other photo filter apps I've tried. Processing & saving is slow, but it's still one of the apps I use a lot.

Fantastic App. I just downloaded this app a few days ago. I hesitated because of the price. It is worth every penny. This app helps one be creative. It has over 30 paper choices. It lets you have control of the many various options. I have lots of apps. This is now by far one of my favorite ones!
