Great flying experience in this day of not so great flying experience!. Years ago when I flew from Montréal to NYC on Eastern airlines, I was in awe of flying. Especially settling the plane to cruise above the clouds when it had reached cruising altitude. Most everyone was dressed “to the nines” (whatever that means?) and everyone, to a person, shared a sense of “awe” as to what we were a part of…in the air. That was long ago! Air travel has been normalized and offers flights to everywhere from everywhere with everyone taking part. Nothing gob smacking or awesomeness any more-just get me there! With all that progress from awe to aaahh! one is left with not much to care about except when an airline like Jet Blue comes along and works towards efficiency and reliability-it works. So that’s what we do now we fly JetBlue!

Extraordinary service. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic our travel plans were put on hold until a safer time. When my out of town grandchildren needed me to come care for them I decided to take every precaution and make the trip from Florida to Boston. After 14 days of isolating, 2 negative covid tests, registering with the state of MA, I began my journey to Boston Equipped with protective gloves, masks and sanitizer, I was delighted with the precautions that were in place through Jet Blue. The plane was completely sanitized, flight staff wore masks at all times, passengers boarded from the back of the plane to the front, they even took an extra measure by preparing sealed plastic bags for each passenger that contained a water bottle, napkin & snacks! I was overwhelmed by their kindness and genuine care for everyone’s safety and experience as they travel! My heart overflows with gratitude!

Seat assignments. My wife and myself planned a trip for our honeymoon and they didn’t assign us seats together even though we bought tickets together. Don’t understand how that makes sense especially with her being terrified of plans and needs me to sit next to her. I didn’t get any help from anyone that I chatted with online or on the phone and for this very reason never have flown with JetBlue and honestly never will after this trip! Please be aware of this trap and if you have kids don’t expect them to sit with you when you buy your tickets unless you pay the 50 dollars per person to change them. Absolutely ridiculous and the main reason why I fly with southwest and not JetBlue! Be aware of this scam and know that they don’t care if it’s your honeymoon, birthday, or funeral as long as they scam you and get their money’s worth. Then they tried to badmouth Expedia and such saying don’t do it with them just do it through us. Sorry to say but the trip with Expedia was perfect and the only problem was the flights with this flaky company. Just lost another 4 customers and more because I will be letting the world know of how difficult and complicated it was working with this airline. I will be making a post telling friends and family to never fly with this company for this very reason! Absolutely ridiculous without any help from you guys!

Getting worse by the release. In the latest release you can no long switch from day to day in your search yet you can see the day before & after and the pricing. Every time you click on another day, it presents an error page and then the only option is to close which takes you to a view of the website browser page, not back to the app search page. You have to close the embedded browser page to get back to the app’s search page. Further, the loading of any pages within the app is taking an extremely long time. Regardless of where I am, Wi-Fi or using the internet. On several occasions I’ve opened other apps to see if it’s an issue with my phone and every time they work fine, it’s just the JetBlue app that is taking a long time to load. Disappointed overall, this used to be a great app and it’s gone downhill.

Most frustrating app ever!. No matter how often I update this app, I keep running into the same extremely frustrating issues. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve either opted to fly another airline or whipped out my laptop to book my JetBlue flight using the web after failed attempts at using this incompetent app. The app takes forever. I get the “Loading” spinning circle after filling in each individual field. More often than I’d like to admit, I’ve magically gotten as far as the final page before booking only to have the field for my billing address state be uneditable! It’ll just be gray and unclickable. I literally cannot enter my billing address state and therefore cannot complete my booking. When I tell you, I’ve almost — oh wait no, I have ACTUALLY thrown my phone out of frustration with this app. I don’t know if it’s just me, but every time. I mean EVERY TIME I give this app another try it ends up biting me where it hurts. And I end up flying Delta instead.

Ratings are a lie. Let me start by saying I love Jetblue; best flight experience going… the app? total crap… use to be better but the past year it is useless… you can’t “Manage Trip” to get into the details of any trip, change or cancel; just keeps loading and when it does stop loading? nothing as it keeps you on the same original page that just lists your flight… which forces you to use the chat function if you want a seat change, flight change, just access to general info about your trip and that chat function is constantly bogged down for actually getting a response…i don’t know who is manipulating the ratings for this app but beware, it is crap - would have given zero stars if I could… this app makes me rethink why do I keep Jetblue as my go-to airline; I hate Delta but gotta admit their app (and therefore my preflight experience) is awesome and far superior…. be better jetblue!

You’ve made it worse. The simplest things are now way more complicated. The seat change screen used to be super simple - now it’s buried in what looks like a ‘wrapped’ web page being framed into the mobile app and it’s a mess of a layout. I don’t want to see my entire itinerary and have to tap through multiple steps - I just want to view and change my seat assignment very simply like we used to be able to. Also, with the new seat change design, not only is it incredibly cluttered and convoluted now, but you don’t remember my payment information even though I’m logged into my profile, which has this info. Now I have to hunt for my card, manually type everything in, and the whole process is infuriating. Why can’t I use the saved payment info form my profile?! Why doesn’t it pre-populate or preselect like it used to?! The app is way buggier now and the ‘manage trip’ experience is garbage. Revert to your old UX - it was far and above way better than whatever this is. You’ve also now charged me for 3 sets of seats even though I’m traveling once because you’ve made the entire seat change process completely asinine. JetBlue has really gone down the tubes - the app, your operations, your customer service, and your reliability. The ‘only’ thing that is good about JetBlue is the inflight experience - everything else is atrocious. It’s why I’m flying other carriers now. I don’t even care if I lose mosaic.

Never fly jetblue. After changing wich gate my plane is at three times and being stranded in the airport of a new state far away from my departure and destination i finaly got to where I was supposed to be after three days. My grandma and I slept in the airport after they refused to put us in a hotel. By the time I got to where I was going I was so exhausted from having to carry my grammas stuff and my stuff and push her in a wheelchair all arround the airport for three days that i was seeing shadows and the walls of the airport were dripping onto my bags not one person in that whole airport once expressed sorrow for the situation we were put in but they laughed and told me matter of fact these things change all the time. I will never ever forget how I was treated in the airport and by security. I have bad anxiety and security yelled at me after seeing the state I was in after no sleep and nonstop crying for three days they decided they were going to make me strip down out of my clothes down to shorts and a tank top from my sweats and a sweatshirt infront of everyone in there not to mention they made me put every one of my belongings in separate X-ray machenes I’m under 18 and I was a visible wreck and no one showed me any kindness matter fact they treated me worse than how they treated anyone else in there I hope no one goes through what I went through and the best way to avoid that is to spend a little extra for a secure flight plan

Can’t get past the sign in screen. I just downloaded this app today and haven’t been able to get past the sign in screen. I tried going through the google browser with the exact same sign in method (touch id) and it’s working just fine. People down load apps for convenience, things available at your finger tips to make check in, boarding passes and all things travel move along smoother. Which would make this app perfect, if only it worked. I see there were just bug fixes performed with a new update yesterday so maybe I’ll delete and download at a later date. Not a good look though also because this was my first experiencing Jet Blue at all per my fiancé’s flying experience with them. He spoke so highly and although my only complaint thus far is the performance of the Jet Blue app...We’re off to a rocky start!! Update: Months later after deleting and downloading over again, the app is now shutting down immediately after opening up! Not sure what the problem is but I’m booked through them for my wedding and it’s disappointing that for such a special trip we won’t have the app at our disposable! Not impossible just an unnecessary inconvenience.

Buggy & Often. Non-functional. App struggles with basic things like checking in. Encountered around 4 different error messages all that told me to contact support (which isn’t much help because the chat and texting are often offline and the phone wait is 90+ mins). Also, the app can’t tell me things like where my bag is, which is important to know if your flight is suddenly cancelled (which mine was). Will it be on the rebooked flight? 🤷‍♂️ The app and the interface the staff accesses seems to have no idea. I couldn’t even track flights (i.e. enter flight number to see status). That feature also resulted in an error message. I checked the website and it also couldn’t track flights or really function for check-in / modify flight. Only option was to stand in line at JFK, which is ALWAYS a joy. /s Flight cancellations, changes, and delays are very common, but this app seems to seize and act like it’s a rare and unexpected IT apocalypse. I work in IT and UX design and provide tech support on a regular basis. The underlying infrastructure is way overdo for an audit, code-review, user journey simulation, stress testing, and bug-fix sprints. Time to halt new features until you get basic things back on track! This buggy system must be costing JetBlue lots of money (over-worked customer service, stressed-out IT help desk, and baffled customers).

Surprisingly not the worst experience. I was amazed that this app was little more than a URL redirect and thought it was the worst customer experience I’d ever had. Then I flew with jet blue and realized that the app was the least of this company’s worries. After a 4 hour wait because we weren’t able to check in, and after 3 hours communicating with the Jet Blue agent, she had no idea why we were blocked from checking in and told me that the gate agent must do it for us. After arriving a full three hours early for our flight, we are now in a queue behind ~500 other international travelers with 15 min till the doors close. When I asked if someone could help us to front of line with security, the JetBlue told us to be thankful we were able to MAKE our vacation because so many other JetBlue customers had canceled flights on the way here. I’ll gladly pay 2x to fly delta next time. They say every bad customer experience leads to 7 testimonials. I’m already to 1.5k views on this one and will make it my mission to let everyone know about our first and last JetBlue experience. Good luck with your company.

The ole switcheroo. I purchased 3 direct round trip JetBlue flights months in advance. Our flights were replaced with non-direct flights both directions. Our flight to Fort Lauderdale was replaced with a flight to Miami. Coming back, we’d now have a 5-hour layover at JFK. Contacting JetBlue via their app, I was told that the flights I had purchased had been cancelled— 4 months in advance. Both directions? I had started the app chat at 10:26AM and received a chat back at 5PM that night. I was told by chat rep Carol that she could not help me, that I would need to call in. Calling in would be a 100+ minute wait. I went online via my computer and cancelled all 3 JetBlue flights and booked for more money with Delta. Some things are worth an additional price to be done with. This whole experience has me wondering what happened in the time since we last flew with JetBlue. It had been great experience in the past. Those days are gone, apparently.

AMAZING. I’m not really sure how to express properly how wonderful JetBlue has been to us during our flights to and from Cleveland. The staff is amazing so kind and caring. The food was good… loved the scones. They let me have as many as i wanted!!! The wine is very good. The plane is comfortable and everything that is needed is there. We actually had a small issue that we would have never known about but the airline credited us $$. Walking down the runway to the plane it is all smiles and happy people. The crew greets you warmly and makes you feel special. It was the best experience from food to ticket agents to booking to flight attendants and everything in between. I look forward to the flights… it’s like being pampered after a long trip away! I’m excited to travel again!! Thank you!!

App is terrible. I am amazed that this app has a rating of 4.9, especially after reading some of the 5-star reviews that say nothing good about JetBlue or this app. I’ve had positive experiences flying JetBlue in the past, but their app is terrible. It took me hours to book a flight due to the app freezing so often, then erasing all my passenger information when paying for tickets causing me to have to start all over. This happened several times over the space of hours. I wouldn’t have known the flight had been booked if it weren’t for a confirmation email that I fortunately checked while the website froze on “confirming” your flight. I later needed to go back to my reservation to add a bag via the manage reservations button, but I have yet to see this work properly. Every time I try, I get a “503 backend” error. I chatted with JetBlue about this and their advice? Delete/reinstall the app. Tried that; no luck. JetBlue, please take these IT issues seriously and fix your app!

Almost Everything You Need. Maybe it’s because I bought my tickets through Travelocity but my in-app boarding pass was only available for my first flight from DCA to BOS. Had to ask my connecting Hawaiian Airlines flight to HNL to print a boarding pass for that flight, and then I didn’t have a boarding pass at all for my return flight back to DCA. Also, the info within the app was outdated by the time I was on my return flight from BOS to DCA. I had to use a third party app to figure out the most current gate for my flight, which caused me to walk back and forth between gates C19 and C26 which are on opposite corners of the Jet Blue Terminals in Boston. The app never updated the info even after the fact. It’s a great app otherwise but if I relied on it solely, I wouldn’t be able to get to where I’m going. Am I supposed to also have a Hawaiian Airlines app? I thought they had a partnership but it doesn’t seem to translate well into an ideal traveler experience. Still, this is better than the old days of having to print my boarding pass at home.

A simple fix.. On several flights I have noticed that only one of the bathrooms at the rear of the plane (in the flight attendants area) was being used even though there was a line of people waiting. It seems that the position of the flight attendants seat on the port side of the plane encroaches close enough to the bathroom door that people are hesitant to use the bathroom when the attendant is seated there. It effectively renders only one bathroom operational while the attendants are seated. I have also noticed that attendants on occasion flip the bathroom door lock to the occupied position in order to make it appear that the bathroom is in use so that nobody disturbs them as they rest. Perhaps if you moved both of the attendant’s seats to the starboard side of the plane (away from the bathroom doors) you would gain the use of the other bathroom and cut the wait time in half and make your customers significantly happier. If your customers can sit elbow to elbow, i’m sure your attendants could sit with their chairs a foot apart instead of 6 feet apart. I know they have a hard job, and they need their rest in order to perform well. Repositioning the seats would accommodate the flight attendants and serve the passengers better as well. Thank you for your kind attention to this matter. I always fly JetBlue wherever possible.

Irritating. On march 7th , I had a flight from LGA TO JAX 4pm it was a wonderful flight even though I forgot to eat before my flight and I didn’t feel to well I was very lightheaded and hungry . I told a flight attendant who told me I needed to wait until he came back down with snacks so I waited another 20 mins when he came back down the 2nd time he told me I needed to wait again because he was only giving out water on the 2nd run the first run was the snacks that were for sale. So I had to wait 45 mins altogether after telling them I felt very faintly and needed to eat something. Than on the 3rd run when the attendant got to my row he asked me what I wanted and I told them I would like one of each of the snacks and he rudely and aggressively grabbed the bags and aggressively passed it to me . I do not know why they were being so disrespectful and mean to me but it hurt my feelings. I understand ppl have bad days but it seemed more than just a bad day because everyone else received smiles. I hope it doesn’t happen again that was my second time my first time was amazing! Please speak to your attendants who flew that day they need more training for guest service

Application and 1800 number. I have flown on JetBlue since it’s creation and have never experienced so many tech delays as I do now. I have flown several times this year and if you experience an issue with your flight, covid testing arrangements or the need to extend your on hold for 3-5 hrs before you can reach a person or your disconnected hours in. The app is continuously under construction and fares you reserve spontaneously disappear! We have been on hold today for over four hours trying to reach a representative. The flight we tried to book kicked us out upon payment and went up over 200 dollars. We have pics to validate. What is happening with this company ? JetBlue has always been my go-to airline but now I am rethinking my preferences.

Trip. We have had issues in the past with jet blue delays and such. Today we were held up at TSA for a long time, as were seven other people. When we got to the gate the lady was very rude and said could not open the door. We understand but she was not willing to do anything for us at first. Said she was the supervisor when we asked for one. Asking her for another flight she said they were all full but could get us on a four o’clock flight. I went onto the jet blue app and found flights even though she said they were full. She did help us in the long run which was appreciated. We booked this flight as an emergency and my husband has health issues which was the hold up at the TSA area. She did pull through. We love Jet blue even through all the cancellations and issues we have had along the way. But we still come back.

Reviewing app, not airline overall. I’ve been frustrated with the app for awhile now. Searching for flights is a pain because it will only show a limited amount of airports that have a direct flight- airports that I want to fly to (that JetBlue does fly to at some point in the week) will not show other available days or flights with a layover. (For true functionality being able to search for flights “anywhere” during a specific time would be wonderful fyi). I also can’t use any TrueBlue credit “given” through delayed or cancelled flights through the app- I have to sign into the website and then go to a separate page. Pros: I was able to access my boarding passes and check in the last time I flew (Sept). The app at that time did notify me in a reasonable manner of the delays and eventual cancellation of my flight about a minute before it was announced on the PA.

Discourteous Assistance. Had the worst experience with this so called Jet Blue with a representative on the chat called Sophia. It was regarding my seating arrangement. I had purchased for my flight and i’m the process picked out my seats for ROUND WAY. The upgrade that I did to economy just so that I could “BOOK/SELECT” my flight ticket. And when I get to the airport, next to the gate after security . The representative on the desk gave me a seat at the back (29C) while the seat that I booked was in the 7 or the 6 line. And when I spoke the the representative on the cat(SOPHIA), I kept repeating what I did and how the process went and yet she insisted and forced that I did not book the ticket. The question is why would purchase a flight ticket where I can select my seat and not select it at the end? No refund was offered when I requested it to her multiple times and neither did she offer to change to another seat. Whether the seats cost extra money for your company or not, is not my concern. Your customer paid and selected for a seat and yet no seat nor refund was offered and instead was a conversation with no helpful actions. As a fellow representative of the upcoming tech industries, I strongly believe that jet blue is not welcoming to their customers and their money and is not worth it.

This app could be so much better. There are apps from other airlines that are a breeze to use, to check prices, book flights, check status, frequent flyer status, etc. The JetBlue app is VERY slow! The UI is very confusing, not intuitive at all. You can’t really look at prices days before or after the given date without losing the info already entered or selected. It forces you to select the departure flight again. Also, font is too small! And in some places you need to open a drop down list that is not very evident to you (again, the app is not intuitive or user friendly). JetBlue say they keep improving the app, but in reality they need to overhaul the entire app if they really want us to have a good user experience. Now, I know this isn’t related to the app, but as for prices go, JetBlue has become a pretty expensive airline to fly; can’t count it as a low fare airline anymore. You look at other airlines prices like AA, Delta, United and what’s the difference??

Buggyyyyyyy. I can’t even explain how much of my day was wasted trying to book a round trip for 2 people. The app forced me to update to a new version that doesn’t work. I got very frustrated and got my laptop running it would be easier. Nope. After about 2 hours u was finally able to make the purchase. Oh wait. The page froze. I got a confirmation number but was “unticketed” and told to call customer service. Wait time 87 minutes. I can very easily see why. Just kidding it ended up being 3 hours by the time I spoke to anybody. She was very nice and helpful and took care of everything for me but I told her I would just do the seats on my own on the app (because that hadn’t been working earlier and I honestly thought it might be my browser in need of an update) but when I try to “manage my trip” on both website and app it just freezes forever. Whoever designs your websites should come work for the MTA IT department. You’d fit right in.

Can’t get passed the sign up.. I tried this app for the convenience factor but there is non. First thing that bothers me was ,when you try to and your personal info, they ask for your birthday and a scroll with the month day and year pops up. Cool, wrong NOT COOLl! It won’t let you change the month unless you change the year or days first. Really??? Took me a few mins to figure that out. I was ok with that, but then after I entered all of this information in and agreed to the agreement, BOOM it won’t let me sign up. It says check your connection. So I turned the WiFi off and went straight to LTE, put all of the good ol info in the right places and. DOUBLE BOOM, (sign in failed, check your connection) Fooled me once shame on you, fooled me twice shame on me, you won’t get me again! Uninstalling...

Happy to fly JetBlue. JetBlue employees are nice and don’t seem to mess around - they helped me when my kids were little and loved running around. They helped me recently when I had a serious medical condition and I am forever appreciative! And thank you for being so strong each and every one of the JetBlue employees who had the courage to keep us all flying during COVID and the pathetic antics of Entitled Americans standing one their misunderstood civil liberties while fighting about a mask. I wish Americans had the interest, patience and fortitude to learn about the laws that keep our American civility in operation. Time to get edified… seriously, once you know how civil societies operate, maybe then we can be the country will were less to believe. Until then - be warned. Hard days to come.

pure frustration. This app is genuinely infuriating; error after error after error. The amount of times I’ve had to fully enter my information all over again to purchase a flight it’s insane. I’m sure they’re losing customers because of this. The only reason I have this app at this point is for the boarding pass when I’m at the airport, that I will say comes in handy. Although I think the people working for In-chat mean well, I spent in an hour and a half canceling a flight because I have covid but instead of cancelling the one flight I asked for, as the app wasn’t working nor allowing me to do it myself, the in-chat person canceled my whole trip home for Christmas. I just needed a delay but this whole process definitely doesn’t encourage people with covid not to travel. I have not gotten my 100 dollar cancellation fee back either.

COMMENDATION FOR SERVICE. Appreciation and gratitude for an exemplary flight experience to and from Orlando, Florida U.S.A. under the public health advisory. When my wife and I had to rebook our return flight to New York to an earlier date it was most convienient using the Jet Blue App. The flight was pleasant indeed. We expect to fly on Jet Blue for every trip. Since I am over 65 years of age I am expecting to undergo medical examinations for various conditions and when my health is improved I will be better prepared to take the journey. Passengers and crew alike need to rest and being a senior citizen is a reminder of my own health awareness. Once again best regards to all of the crew members and staff at Jet Blue Airways. Francis and Mirian Von Muller.

Worst “Live Chat” + bad rep = nightmare. A live chat option without an app notification option is way worse than emails. At least emails have notifications. I used this “Chat with us” option to make my life simple and fast forward to 3-4 hours later I still don’t have an answer to my basic query of fare class of my reservation. After 2 hours of wait I was assigned a rep. She was taking very long to answer a basic fare class related question. I had to come to this app repeatedly to check if there is a response and if needed I could ask a follow up question to avoid being disconnected before I get that opportunity. Even after 10-15 minutes she did not have an answer to my query. I politely asked how long would it take. To which she replied, “ I do apologize, if you are unable to wait for the review of the reservation please contact us at another time when it is more convenient for you.” I was like, what……. Is this how you treat a polite and patiently waiting customer? Even after explaining the issue of app notification, and missing the chance of a follow up question she disconnected the chat (without answering my question) later when I went for 15 mins lunch break. I wish there was an option to upload a screenshot here to show you guys how insulting the entire experience was. 3 hours wasted and I still have my query unresolved.

First timer... Didn’t want to write a bad review bc other then what about to tell you the staff was great and the seats were comfortable. In 2020 we all know Covid happened I got a credit for my tickets was my 40th Birthday Party. Then 2022 I decided to use my credits bc they were going to expire and almost everything is back to normal. I book to go to Nashville my flight was from Thursday-Sunday . Thursday night got delayed one hr. Ok no problem, then we are up in the air in TN circling the airport to come to fine out having issues mechanical. We finally land to find out the steering is broken so he comes the fire truck, etc. They had to tow us in to get out. Flight was only supposed to be 2 hrs took 5 hrs. It was late I was over that day . Then on Saturday I got email that our flight was CANCELED to come home on Sunday (Easter) I tried calling 153 min wait time 😬 are you kidding me? I went online no flights w JetBlue are going out. So I quickly made another one way flight home for 2 people cost me $519. I ask JetBlue to do reimburse me. They said they can only give my credit back of $183 and I have only 7 months to use it. I have ask for a manager can’t get anyone on the phone. Worst Customer Service. To be honest don’t want it to happen again scary to fly with them. Nice bday gift ugh!!

Love JetBlue, Hate Their Website. Have been trying to use the JetBlue website for the last two weeks and when it says I’m logged in and start booking a flight, it asks me to log in again, and then again after every step. When it came to applying True Blue points, it kicked me to the True Blue login which immediately states it is shut down. Then when closing everything down and reopening, the JetBlue app crashes 75% of the time after entering the booking info. This is not the first time I’ve had problems with the app. Update (this is actually laughable): Since I have been unable to book a flight using the app or the JetBlue website for well over two weeks, I decided to use their “Help” feature which opened an SMS window. When I typed in my issue that I’m unable to book a flight using points on their JetBlue and TrueBlue app or website, I received a message stating “Due to technical difficulties, SMS messaging is unavailable. Please download and use the JetBlue app to book your flight”.

Such a clunky, crappy app.. The keep putting out “updates” which are really “downgrades” and they keep dragging the app lower and lower. Interface is slow (because instead of the app using a native interface, it’s just a link to the crappy website), non-intuitive, sometimes confusing, the seat maps are too small, the seat maps don’t show up (this is during the flight select phase), no information about type of aircraft displayed that I can see (or at lease, find, during the select flight phase of the process). And why can’t I select a fare type before selecting a flight? You used to be able to do that. Now, it just defaults to “basic” (really? who chooses that crappy option?) and, if you’re not careful, you may book that by accident. Once upon a time, a long time ago, the JetBlue app was so easy to use. More intuitive, faster, and more responsive. Then somebody came in and, probably in the name of cheapness, decided to make the app just a shell for the website. Well, it stinks.

Customer service isn’t their strong suit. I purchased a flight through Priceline. Apparently Priceline combined my first name and middle name Into one data field. As a result I could not sign in for the flight. I called JetBlue, and after a 10 minute hold time I was told this is a known issue, that it happens frequently. I had to manually type in incorrect information, in order for the system to acknowledge my reservation. As I was then walking through the check in procedure, the JetBlue agent apparently felt that she had given enough Assistance. So she abruptly ended the call before I finished asking questions. I was midway through the sign-on process, and there was no way to return and correct a prior entry. So I had to finish the entire process, logout and then log back in and go back through it again step-by-step. Every bit of this process has been cumbersome, slow and full of errors. If this is a known issue, why haven’t they fixed it? Why should I wait for on hold for 10 minutes, and then have the agent need to end the call rapidly? Checking in for a flight is something every single passenger needs to do… How can you possibly design such a process without giving users the ability to go back one prior step and make a correction?

Best Airline ever. JetBlue will always be my first choice when flying. They’re airfare is beyond competitive with other fares. I actually SAVE money flying JetBlue. And it goes way beyond the airfare. I’ve never met a flight attendant who wasn’t kind and and wasn’t willing to go the extra mile to take care of passengers. I love the option of assigning myself a seat with extra legroom without having to fork out tons of money for first class. And the entertainment- One of my FIRST must-haves when flying cross country and JetBlue certainly offers more than enough current television and/or movie choice, as well as music. I won’t fly any other airlines unless absolutely necessary.

Can’t get boarding pass. This latest update is broken. I can see my trips and check in, but can’t get an electronic boarding pass. I get the message “Bummer. There was an error creating your mobile boarding pass. Please try again later.” I have flown 3 JetBlue flights in the past 2 weeks since the app update and I get this error every time, no matter how many times or how much “later” I try. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times, logged out and back in again, and even updated the iOS to 12.2 (and deleted/reinstalled and logged out/in the app again after). THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! There are a lot of other features JetBlue really should add to be competitive with other airlines that other reviewers have noted, and I agree. But at the very least you need to have reliable access to mobile boarding pass, this is an expectation of any traveler today to bypass checkin or kiosks.

San juan flight 2131. I had the worse situation on that flight! Aside from the flight being delayed from 6:00 am to 9:00 am the Jet Blue Counter, is extremely slow and it takes about 45 minutes to get attended with perhaps 15 people ahead of you and to go through customs with maybe 50 people takes 5 to 7 minutes!! Also, Kimberly who was in charged of flight 2131 made it impossible for my son and I to take the flight because i did not have the eticket!! I understand, i had to have it but may son was already inside the plane and she called him back out of the bridge! The etickett would not go through cause one of the passengers was already checked on the flight! So, she took the decision to make us stay!! For another flight!!! The doors were open and she took the decision making a bad comment against my son, as she said: “i don’t deal with people who aren’t of good faith, close the doors” With out any consideration! I know that there were other passengers that made it on the plane with out it as well!!! Now that I remember Today is not the first time I personally have had a situation with Kimberly and I feel discriminated.

Last 2 Flights were Horrific. The last two flights on Jet Blue were the worst flights I have taken in the last 20years of flying. Don’t get me wrong, I love Jet Blue and Love Animals, especially Dogs. However, there has to be some enforcement on pet travel policy. The first flight I mentioned, I was watching a movie and the middle seat was empty and the passenger in the window seat took her dog out of the pet carrier and placed it in the middle seat and it started to paw me and lick me and I asked the person to please handle the dog and the flight attendant could have cared less after I asked what the jet blue pet policy. The second flight I mentioned there was 10-12 dogs on the flight they were all out of the carriers and that was if they even had carriers and it was like animals planet. Again, I love dogs and all animals, but on a flight Im paying for I would appreciate if folks keep their pets in the carrier as one dog ran down the isle and they were jumping all around the seats. One of these pets wasn't small. I feel like its unsafe and there is a reason jetblue has a policy to keep pets stowed and secured for everyone’s safety. When did this policy stop being enforced???

JetBlue app. The old version of the JetBlue app is not working at all on my I-6 phone. It won’t let me update the new version because I don’t have 13.0 iOS. I have 12 point some thing on my I-6 Phone. I spoke with Apple and they said that Jet Blue did not update their app properly because it is not allowing many people to use their app because they don’t have 13.0 iOS on their phones. Please resolve your app issue immediately so I am able to use it like I have been using it for 15 years. I don’t have iOS 13.0 so I cannot use the JetBlue app for anything, even though it says that I can download the other version. I already have the original JetBlue app and it’s not working at all because you have a new App that requires iOS 13. Many customers including myself do not have iOS 13 on our cell phones, so we cannot use the old app or new app! Please resolve this ASAP! I’m extremely frustrated and have a JetBlue flight in a week so I will have to download my boarding pass and cannot do so at this time.

Flight inaccurately indicates canceled. Since two app updates ago, a flight purchased several months ago shows canceled. I should also add the flight also indicates canceled on my laptop. Customer service says it is not. Each rep has very nicely directed the problem to my end in their “bless your heart” voice. For example, restart my phone or clear the cache on my computer. I’m not computer illiterate. I use two every day 8 to 12 hours a day. I also tried querying for the confirmation without logging in on both my laptop and cell. Very frustrating..... I’m tired of these updates that add more “features” than making your customers lives a bit easier with travel planning.

App isn’t robust as it could be…. Summary: Mobil app does NOT check to make sure it has access to cellular network (and maybe Wi-Fi) and gives ‘oops’ message if it can’t find one As a software developer, one shouldn’t assume that everything is already setup and ready to use. I discovered that the mobil app does not check to see if it has access to use the cellular data on a phone before asking the user to login. If the app does not have permission, any login attempt basically says, ‘oops, something went wrong’. Uh, yeah something did go wrong: In the development and QA efforts of the app! It’s not hard to check and put up a message which says the app needs cellular network access (and/or perhaps wifi network - I didn’t check that since I have none right now). As a quick stop-gap update to the app, add to the oops message ‘check cellular access’ or something like that. If you’re reading this now, and you’re see the oops message, and your email and password look ok, go to the Settings, find JetBlue, and check if Cellular is enabled. If it isn’t then enable it and try again. To the dev folks: com’on guys, you can do better than this. Really. Just think it thru a bit, get some real world beta testers too. There’s some road warriors out there that can help (maybe for a free snack/drink).

App built for local travel. JetBlue’s app is not built for international travel. Surprisingly the app only provides check-in for US nationals and green card holders. JetBlue developers seem unaware that there are people who travel to the US with visas, and if you are one of these travelers, good luck! They will subject you to painful lines at international airports with general passport checks lasting north of 20 min. One thing JetBlue is good about, is being consistent. Consistent with their general incompetence. Case in point, they send COVID vaccine forms that we are “required” to be completed prior to check-in and once you have completed them, they will require you to fill paper forms again as the online form is “out-of-date”. I’m a 1K member on United and travel over atleast 10-20 sectors a year on international airlines and haven’t seen such poorly designed airline app + lack of understanding about the different traveler types in a while.

AVOID THIS APP AT ALL COSTS. If you decide to fly JetBlue, buy your tickets on a computer browser. I bought plane tickets this morning over the app and it didn’t go through so I tried it again and it told me there was an issue with my banking institution, which was wrong. It ended up going through and it charged me, but I never got a confirmation email so I had to call JetBlue and their customer service is terrible. the customer service representative told me that the charges for my checked bag and reserved seat didn’t go through even though it charged my bank the full amount. She told me I would have to give her my card information over the phone so that I could buy the checked bag and the reserved seat. I did all of this and then she told me I would just be buying the checked bag and reserved seat, but then she charged my card all over again for the full amount of the ticket, bag, and seat. I didn’t notice this till later, so I had to call them again and they said that I should just be getting a refund in seven business days, but the first lady never told me this. This has been the longest day of my life, I will be needing therapy after.

Always A Great experience!. When I fly it’s always JetBlue if they are a carrier where I’m going. It is the easiest process ever to make reservations, get to the airport & get where I am going without stress. I had my first ever horrible experience where I got held up in TSA. I hear customer service calling my name. 3xs they called me with the final call being the gates are closing. I can’t go to the gate. I missed my plane. I finally get to the gate. I explain my situation to Dominic, the JetBlue representative. He was sorry for my distress. He asks if I’d like to fly with another carrier. I said “No, JetBlue is the Best!” He gave me excellent customer service, rescheduled me for the next day’s flight & I was on my way. All JetBlue needs to do for me now is fly into New Orleans! 😜

Worst airline service ever.. I had the worst time trying to get a connecting flight back from my location. JetBlue caused me to be late to my connecting flight because they delayed it three hours, and then continued to blame me for not being there on time. I sat in guest services for three hours, just to get an attendant who was extremely rude and aggressive. I asked for the supervisor and was talked harshly about in front of my face between the attendant and supervisor. The supervisor proceeded to be extremely hostile with me, again claiming that it was my fault I missed their connecting flight (even though the airline was the reason I missed my connecting flight). I am a regular flyer and have never been so disrespected by an airline. I would not recommend JetBlue to my worst enemy. The prices may be cheaper, but you will pay for it in the long run. I am still trying to book a flight 13 hours after the debacle, and the airline has taken no fault in this. If you want to be screwed over, then this is the airline for you.

App not user friendly enough. Aside from the issues i’ve been experiencing with updating my details for my flight both on the web and the app, the app is not great. I’m not sure if this is the use of API’s but almost every link seems to redirect to the webpages except that they’re contained within the app. This isn’t a god feel for user experience. Not to compare too much but the Delta App for eg, is a much smoother experience. Personally, I think each page should be designed and maintained within the app instead of feeling like i’m on a compressed version of the website. My issue also may have been resolved within the app had it been independent of the website as the error on the webpage wouldn’t necessarily have an affect on the page in the app. Hope my concern/suggestion can be taken into consideration.

Crashes and times out. I tried to book a ticket through the app but finally gave up and booked on the website. The app kept timing out when searching for flights so it took me a while to find a flight. When I finally went to pay for the ticket, the app would take a long time to refresh when I unclicked “same as billing address” to put in a different physical address. After I had put in all of my credit card information and clicked the link to pay, it just kept bringing me back to the credit card entry page. There was no error message saying that I had missed info, just a bug. When I finally got it to submit the payment after multiple tries, it went through the “verified by visa” process and said that my purchase could not be completed! I was able to book the ticket on my phone through the website with no problem.

Spirit or JetBlue. Most recent JetBlue exp, I purchase a one way ticket to DR for me and my sis and upon boarding the connecting flight was told to get in line to speak to gate agent, once it reached our turn Was told we couldn’t board because we needed a return flight and was told we didn’t have time to purchase one because they were getting ready to shut the door. As I frantically tried to purchase a ticket on the handy JetBlue app they began counting down 1 min, 30 seconds, 15 seconds Then sorry too late. You will have to come back tomorrow there are no more flights going out today and because you bought a basic ticket we can’t try any other connecting flights. I was appalled, instead of having us wait in line to speak to gate agent she could have just told us so we could have had ticket purchased by the time we got to the front of line. We could have been told in Cleve when we arrived at airport to board the first flight. And the 3 min it would have set the flight back for me to complete the purchase could have been made up in the air, instead we had to get a hotel in FLL and missed our appt for that afternoon. Felt like something I would have experienced with Spirit and I quit riding Spirit because of the horror stories.

Ridiculous baggage policies and service. Deleting this app and never flying Jet Blue again! Paid extra on this app for 6 carry on bags, were stopped by security, were told since they BARELY didn’t fit their sizer (although saw multiple carry ons on our same flight that were as big or bigger) would have to go back and pay more money to check the bags then refused to refund me for my carryons that we didn’t use. Is this Spirit airlines nickle and diming you? What a joke! We’ve flown multiple airlines with these exact same carry ons, zero issue. Then on top of it we were delayed over an hour because the plane had to go through customs (poor planning on Jet Blue’s part), and then when we finally leave the gate, we had to come back to service the plane because the toilets were full. Then when I spoke to customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do. Seriously disappointed at how the service of Jet Blue has gone down hill.

Poo Messaging and Glitchy App. I’m not sure if this is the right place to share this feedback but I’m very disappointed by how JetBlue handled my schedule change. I received an email saying that my schedule changed and I needed to log in to confirm the change or change my flight. After multiple times of trying to change my flight through the link, I received an error message that said I needed to call customer service in order to change my flight. So I did. After spending over 45 minutes waiting to speak to an agent, I was told that I am not able to change my flight because it is a points and cash booking. The only option is to cancel the flight and rebook. So I said fine, cancel my flight. I was then told that in order to conceal over the phone I would have to pay a $25 fee. Absurd. I was told to call to update my flight and then after wasting my time on the phone, I was told to cancel it myself or pay $25. This could have all been avoided if JetBlue had instead told me my only option was to cancel and rebook when I was attempting to change my flight in the app, or if the email I received was tailored to points and cash bookings to make it clear that if I did not like the flight I would need to cancel. This was a horrible experience and it always reminds why delta is the better airline. The app and the customer service are clearer and there are never fees for over the phone transactions. If you want to stop people from calling, make your in app messaging clearer!

Review. My experience with JetBlue has always been relatively good. On my flight in July from FLL-Newark we were delayed 3 hours and there was not even a “sorry” for the in convenience... I missed dinner with my family and it ruined that entire evening. The most recent flight I was on was on time etc... BUTTTTTT what is going on with all the animals being allowed without carriers on board????? Besides the 4 or 5 small lap dogs that were on the flight there was a Labrador 3 Seats in front of me- I could not believe it! I am so allergic to dogs and if this dog was sitting in the seat next to me I would have had a huge issue. Dogs , cats etc need to be in carriers if they are going to fly. He was allowed to sit on the seat and then peak over to the sit in front and back- just ridiculous.

Love Jet Blue app. I love their app. It is so easy to navigate and find the best fares. I get the best deals here compared to Expedia, Kayak and other apps. They never have the deals the Jet Blue app has. Of course you have to fly to a city they serve. We fly often to Washington DC from Hartford to visit my daughter. We have gotten fares as low as $34 per person. Cheaper than driving or taking the train! Of course you have to be flexible with the times they offer and the return trip is a higher fare usually but they still are pretty cheap. And also we have never had a problem with their flights from Hartford or Reagan and the planes are clean and comfortable and flight attendants and other staff are always very helpful and courteous. It’s our first choice for an Airline! Keep up the good work Jet Blue!

Racist bigoted indefensible behaviour. Who would want to download this app, let alone fly this bigoted, racist airline that defends and justifies the abhorrent treatment of the two Muslim ladies. The flight attendant lied. There was no filming. She made that up after she told her colleagues that she didn't like the way they stared at her!!

Joke of an airline. Never flying again. App is sub standard too.

Terrible. Slow and much less feature rich than other airline’s apps. Baffled that its rating is as high as it is.

Would be great if I could sign up/ sign in. Unable to sign up to new account or sign in to partners account. Really frustrating. Did you even test out this feature before releasing this update?? Terrible.

Cannot even open app. App instantly crashes and closes on launch. This new version does not work at all

Gate update on mobile pass in Wallet. Getting notification of gate change and also in the app the the info in the wallet mobile pass don't show the gate update. This must be fix in future version.

Bad. Unstable and unreliable app. Many times you’d see “Oops something went wrong” on the app.

Not user friendly app. Not intuitive not smooth. Not a good appp

Great app. Works well with my true blue account

V 3.2.3. Fixed Crash. Update version 3.2.3. Fixed the previous crash issue. Thank you!

Not a fan.... I've never been able to sign into my account

So excited!. I'm so happy about this app! So easy so very cool! Thanks JetBlue!

Jet Blue Ap. A1. Best airline to fly ...period 👍👏

Compatible with?. In the App store this says it's compatible with iPhone, iPod, iTouch, and iPad. But when I downloaded it, It's listed only in the iPhone/iPod/iTouch section of my apps and cannot get it onto my iPad???

Best airline app. Even compared to other apps it is great Seamless, easy to use and super fast!

Passwords won't work. Added this app to my iPad and iPhone, and it wouldn't accept the password that I use for TrueBlue on my laptop. So I changed it on the iPad, and it STILL wouldn't work on the phone. Changed it again, and it worked for a while on the iPad, but once I logged out and tried to get in again, no joy. Thank goodness I can still access my account using the actual website on the laptop, but the app is useless. Never could get in to my account on the iPhone😡

Steve Austin. Friendly Flight Attendants, plenty of Leg room and comfortable Seats.

Review the app not the flight dunkey. The itself hasn’t work for me says error in checking-in…

Awesome and easy. Great app. I'm not technically inclined however I can book flights, cancel them, check in and do just about anything I need to do without my computer.

Awesome app...when it doesn't crash. We are big fans of JetBlue but the app either won't open or crashes once it does open. Probably 9 out of 10 times it won't open.

Flight 655. Everything was great with app so far , flight was comfortable and smooth if the return flight goes as well. 100%

Jetblue. Pas capable de l'enregistrer

Vacations. The only problem with this app is that you can’t book a vacation package with flight and hotel only , only flights unless I’m doing something wrong

Easy-Peasy. Easy to use!

Seamless. This app works perfect! Very very user friendly. Looks great, easy to navigate. Never glitches.

Travellerzz. Great app

TSA Pre. App doesn't seem to recognize TSA Pre status after adding "Known Traveller". Led to an embarrassing moment at gate security. Otherwise, app seems fine.

;). Finally! Awesome app!

An easy to use time saver and information source. One of the best travel aides around.

Solid app. Has always worked without issues. Nice, clear simple interface

Impossible to book through the app. I love JetBlue but it is literally impossible to book a flight through the app. There are two many amateurish bugs throughout. Like in one spot the "phone number" field (required) gets populated by a drop down list of countries, with no way to put in an actual number. In another phone number field, dashes are required but the keyboard that gets displayed doesn't have a dash button. Also, don't tap any of the "info" buttons to see the difference between the different plans - there's no Close button. The only way to close it is to shut down the entire reservation process and start over. All in all just a terrible terrible experience. I tried twice, wasted half an hour, and was never able to book my flight.

Worst app. The American Airlines app is seem less when adding an upcoming trip. This app won’t let me add my flight so I can check in quickly when check in becomes available. I keep getting an error message. I tried to contact customer service via chat but it says they are experiencing a higher than normal chat volume? Seriously, that’s what chat is for! The app wants me to call them but I’m out of the country paying .15 a minute for calls. How antiquated is Jet Blue. Makes me wonder about the upkeep of their planes if they can’t keep something as simple as an app running. The fact that they’re receiving a higher than normal chat volume tells me that numerous people are figuring out that the app is garbage. Also, the 4.9 stars is garbage. Just scan through the reviews and you’ll see just as many 1 or 2 stars as 5 stars....that’s fishy. Next time, I’ll be sure not to use Jet Blue for anything.

Frustrating. The app can be very frustrating when you book a flight. No problem searching for flights and comparing priced based on days. But when you actually book, it gets stuck. Today it got stuck after I entered additional passengers(in the system as part of my family plan). Then I noticed that that TSA pre-check numbers were not automatically entered, although they are attached to our accounts. Great way to prevent a customer from making a purchase! I’ll have to go back and find the numbers on the TSA paperwork or make the reservation by phone, which reduces my points. The app got stuck over the summer when I was making reservations, too. Thought they would have cleaned up the app by now.

Unbelievable.... First, it took 2-3 hrs to book tickets to the Dominican Republic. Then, didn't get the seats I bought beside friends that my wife and I were traveling with. We were put in the rear of the plane; we paid for seats w/I the first 5 rows. At FLL we were told by an unfriendly gate agent that we couldn't board because we didn't have an eticket required by the DR, and that we were not notified of at the time of purchase and rec'd no email notice of from Jetblue. Our flights were delayed and no alerts came to our phones til we had departed. Knew of gate change only because we reached the gate and asked the gate agent. Email notices, when they did come, stated one new departure time while the Jetblue app stated a different time. Frustrating beyond words. Wouldn't recommend Jetblue to an enemy, let alone a friend. Planes, flights and attendants were nice tho'

The least helpful of the airline apps.. I use airline apps all the time to check status, gates, electronic boarding passes. I haven’t traveled with JetBlue for a long time and was optimistic seeing their shiny new app. But sadly it is mostly just frustrating. It’s been years since I have had to use a paper boarding pass. But I have had to do that for 6/6 flights on this trip. Im already checked in, on my last legs of the rerun trip, and the app won’t let me get the electronic boarding pass. Sometimes it says I have to wait until 24 hours ahead to check in (I’m sitting at the gate!) and other times it says that electronic boarding passes are not available for this departure airport (JFK!?!). I’m so disappointed with this app.

My Favorite Airline. JetBlue has always been my favorite airline.I always have comfortable seats good movies to watch and great service. This very last flight I had enough true blue miles to buy my husband’s ticket, so he flew free. Can’t get better than that. I only wish we had the same confirmation number, but I guess that’s not possible when you get a free flight. As a result of different confirmation numbers, I ended up getting TSA approved and he did not. I guess it’s a small price to pay for free flight. I will continue to be a true blue member. Jet blue is the best

15 years and counting. I’ve been traveling with Jetblue since they open in Logan Airport, Boston, MA. having no complaints at all. Good service, quality and excellent pilots . You can choose your seats and can have a carry-on and personal without charge. Sorry that Mr. Nickname19 experience was negative. You should always asked about the seatings, luggage, etc. Don’t assume because one airline performes its way , the other airlines will do the same. Always confirm your benefits, rules , actions and everything that concerns your flight and what to expect. It’s your responsibility to make sure everything is correct.

“Manage Trips” Function Does Not Work. After receiving multiple error messages while trying to change my flights on the JetBlue website using my laptop , I finally gave up and decided to try the “Manage Trips” function on the JetBlue app using my phone. Very disappointed to find that the “Manage Trips” function doesn’t work on the app either. I’ve been a loyal JetBlue customer for almost 20 years when they managed to snag my brand loyalty as a child during the days of the JetBlue Baby commercial (iykyk), but it seems like JetBlue no longer values or is investing in user experience. I’m not sure what is going on with their systems but with so many airlines to choose from nowadays, they really should consider looking into their website infrastructure.

We love flying on JetBlue. We have been traveling for years on JetBlue and it’s definitely the airline of choice. We are now Mosaic members and enjoy all the perks that go with it, including free check in luggage, having our luggage come off first, the ability to change or cancel out flights, boarding next after passengers who need assistance, having a private telephone number to call to make changes to you ticket or just the ability to ask questions that are rapidly handled. But not the least of all are the personal who check you in to the flight attendants to the pilots are the most friendly and helpful of any airlines by far. We love you!! Luke and Mary Jo Pittoni

Why can’t they get this right?. After the “enhancements and bug fixes” update, I tried to book a flight and pick an exit row. I get the pop up of standard safety stuff and the fact that it’s going to cost me an extra billion dollars, along w a close button and cancel button...no agree/continue button. So basically there’s no way to chose the seat I want. While we’re on the subject, when showing your seating chart, why would you have 2 close buttons and one of them complete cancel your navigation and make you start over? You’re not a discount airline anymore, get rid of the tech that makes you seem like one.

gone downhill. I used to love jetBlue and fly them all the time, but this year and last year they have messed up every single flight i’ve been on. So many delays, and this past flight i was flying to Texas but they switched my gate 3 times and had a 4+ hour delay—longer then the actual flight. Extremely annoying and very confusing. Then on my returning flight, they canceled it 5 hours before it was going to take off. I had to book another flight short notice which costed 3x the amount the original jetBlue flight costed, and they only gave me a refund for the original flight, they couldn’t reimburse the costs i had to pay to get a different flight on such short notice. I’m done flying jetBlue and am going to find a new airline…

Only Way to Fly. JetBlue is literally the only airline I have ever flown consistently and am always satisfied with. I have even had some rough travel experiences using JetBlue and they have ALWAYS made up for any short-comings, above and beyond as well as extremely promptly including putting me up in a 4 star hotel near airport, paying for dinner and breakfast, and changing flight times and dates at no extra charge. I truly swear by JetBlue through and through and I honestly haven’t flown any other airline besides them in the past 5 years. Love em’ and their blue chips and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. 👌🏼😍💙

What’s Better than Blue?!. I can say that I haven’t flown with JetBlue in over a decade and since I stopped working for them when they stopped flights to ONT, so returning to the airline I was part of after so long had truly shown how much JetBlue has evolved in service, equipment and culture! The service has gotten better, the free extra perks are still free (minus the checked bag allowances), they evolved their A321 cabin and introduced a premium product called Mint and broke from the core cabin layout that they were known for having, and they tacked on some extra fees for priority seating, priority boarding and the premium snacks and beverages. Some of the old JetBlue is in there, just under a new shiny cabin and all still while keeping to the shades of Blue that first flew on the first flight! The App is always updated to be functional and still hip and trendy. Having all the features you do want and none of the features that clutter up an App. Any issues they’re just a tweet or phone call away and always are helpful and quick in addressing any issues or concerns!

App is terrible Customer Experience. App doesn’t work or not updated for most basic things. Examples: • Flight Tracker - shows flight times BUT don’t trust it because it doesn’t update until MUCH later than real time, if at all • Manage Trip - click the button to adjust seats, change flight…at least that’s what it’s supposed to allow you to do. It doesn’t. It simply puts you in an endless loop where you wait and then the “Manage Trip” intro screen re-populates. • Much of the app is just a re-direct to the website and not a functional UX/IX at all. Come on JetBlue. Spend the money and pay a team to get this right. I generally appreciate the in-flight experience. The pre-flight experience has me frustrated and looking for alternatives and, ultimately, impacts my feelings by the time I make it to the inflight experience. Do better, please.

Trip to Punta Cana. Arrived at the airport in Punta Cana . Went to get our free insider to bring us to our hotel and had us booked at the wrong hote. Took over 40 minutes to get a ride. 2 days before leaving Punta Cana we call to make arrangements for a ride from the hotel to the airport and once again they still had us listed at the wrong hotel. One again we call Jet Blue and spent over 2 hours on the phone and no resolution. The hotel even called Jet Blue and we were given wrong flight number and times. Finally the hotel made us reservations to get picked up from the hotel to the airport. Spent too much time wasted on our vacation trying to resolve problems that should have been fixed from day 1. Not happy with Jet Blue.. all around bad experience even with our carry on bags that they made us check.

JetBlue is Blue Chip All The Way!!. JetBlue if it were possible for me to give everyone in your company a big hug I would!! You have come through for me so big with last minute travel plans at an affordable price. I am so appreciative of your services. Your flight attendants are super nice and treat everyone like the whole plane is first class. I 90% of the time I book online and it's faster and easier than ordering at Starbucks. The 10% of the time I have to speak with a representative because I have some complicated change that needs to be done same day of travel I always feel like I'm talking to one of my friend's. Jetblue I luv you!!!

Features are great, but accessibility not so much. I enjoy using the jetBlue app to book my flights and manage my true blue account. However, as a legally, blind individual and a screen reader user, it’s not always the most accessible app. There is times where I needed help from somebody else to use the app and complete my task as it is not completely accessible. The app would be a five start for me once they have taken care of the little accessibility issues that it has and I am able to use it completely on my own and without anybody’s help.

Don’t trust this app. When I checked in, I was informed my flight was delayed for 3 hours. All day long it said the flight was delayed 3 hours. I was done with work and went to the airport super early (I thought). When I got to the gate I noticed the time was still the original take off time. The app still said it was delayed 3 hours. The worker at the gate LAUGHED and said those times are estimates. I will never fly jet blue again. I will delete this app. And I recommend if you choose this business you never trust a delay. My assumption, since the flight was 100%,booked, is that these crooks informed passengers of a fake delay. They had several passengers without a seat assignment, so it benefits the company to have no shows to hand out those seat assignments. Absolute rubbish business practices. Overbook and misinform to maximize profits.

I don’t think. I don’t you guys move with a sense of urgency to help people to get through the airport people will come to you including myself about something because your flight it’s almost ready to board and you people attitude is more, when I get to you I get to you…And I think the reason why you guys are like that is because you forcing people to upgrade to Mosaic…. And the last time I checked I think you have more regular passenger than you do mosaic passengers and if those passengers switch to another airline you won’t have any business…. Food for thought

JetBlue workers steal a phone from the bags. My dad was traveling September 24 from Fort Lauderdale airport to Quito-Ecuador. He gave his carry on bags to the lady in the counter in Fort Lauderdale Airport Before the flight, when He remembered he has left his new iPhone 8 Plus with the box and everything inside his backpack. He went back to the lady at the counter asked for his bag if is still there to get his phone and the lady told him the bags are inside the plane already. When he got home to search for his new phone the phone wasn’t there. They gave us a phone number in Ecuador that nobody answers, and we asked for help here, and they just told us to call that number. Do you think that people that work there will be honest? and wouldn’t steal stuff inside our bag? And if they do take anything shouldn’t the company be responsible for the stolen items and pay back the customer?

Great app. This is our first time flying jet blue. We fly delta most of the time but have flown several airlines. jet blues app has great notifications and is easy to use. It has been one of the nicest I have ever used as far as apps go. The planes are a little older looking and not as clean as some but the seats are comfortable as far as planes go and there is more leg room than most. I like that the have a snack and drink menu in the seat back so that you can know what’s available before they come By. All in all we are please with our experience

slow. i literally never leave reviews for anything but i have a trip upcoming this week and the app is so unbelievably slow. my dad booked tickets for my boyfriend and i and i’m trying to manage the reservation and assign seats for us and the selection process couldn’t be more tedious. i’m trying to shop around and book seats that fit our price the most, but i cannot simply select and unselect a seat after the price FINALLY shows. you have to completely redo the process because the wait for the app to load and recognize that you want to go back a step is not worth waiting how long you have to. and i have had to do this several times. united’s app has never been this slow and horrible to use 🤷🏻‍♀️

Customer Service has gone down the whole.. I had loved and travelled with JetBlue almost every year since I was 18. I am now 28. In this decade, I truly believed them to be the best reasonably priced airline. I was disheartened and disappointed by the lack of care and empathy they now have. I would not recommend them to a single person any longer and my biggest regret is having blindly trusted them with my money and their staffs’ words. If getting stranded was not enough, then the final straw was being stranded with zero guarantees, empty promises regarding “reimbursement,” and not even a fulfillment of meal voucher courtesies absolutely were. And to clarify our getting stranded being due to THEIR delay and reassurance our connection would “not be affected,” and yet despite this reassurance, we missed our connecting flight with zero regard and zero compensation or apology.

New phone new app list my information. Loading the new phone that I have with the new app lost all of my information and gave me a brand new number and now I cannot locate any of my flight information using the app. I contacted Jetblue and they told me to delete the app and try to reinstall it same thing happened. The only way I can get my information is if I go onto a regular desktop or go onto the regular jetBlue website and put in my old number which shows my credits and every part of the information that I needed for my flight.

By far the worse airline ever. JetBlue cancelled my flight then gave me a flight to a different state. I call and I’m on hold for 90 minutes. Some lady finally answers and ignored everything I said. She finally asks for my information but she couldn’t be more annoyed (if you hate your job it’s cool just don’t take it out on people just trying to get to their jobs) after asking for my information and me giving it to her she hangs up on me. I call back and I’m told I have to wait another 90 minutes. I get on the app and try to get a hold of someone that way and I’m told I have to wait 15 minutes. I wait about an hour and nothing. There is absolutely no one at JetBlue that is doing anything what so ever. The app is just as bad as the airline and everyone else in it. They are worse than spirit airline and that’s saying something

Like it but hate it during high peak time. Seems like every year when I need it around the high peak holidays, the app lets me down. I’ll be in the middle booking, going as fast as I can go (which is pretty slow because the UI has so many drop down fields) and then finally I’m down but I’ll get an error because the price changed. Someone else booked. And I couldn’t possibly move faster because of field limitations...and now I don’t have enough points to book. It happened both this year and once or twice last year. Once someone starts booking you should hold the seat within a session before increasing the price. Then the price wouldn’t update so it kept giving an error msg. I had to contact help since I didn’t have a desktop.

Airline Unpredictable, Unreliable!. This could be the best app ever made, but it doesn’t matter because Jet Blue is probably best the least dependable airline ever. And I have flown with Spirit, Alaska and Frontier before. Yes then actual flight may have decent seating but it doesn’t matter if you can’t even get on the flight! Always expect delays, and cancellations. The only thing you can depend on is for them to take NO responsibility for their lack of preparation, and communication. Since we know flights will ALWAYS be delayed or canceled, the app needs to have better programming, so that it can automatically update you whenever it changes, and also automatically update your ticket whenever saved into your wallet. But even then Jet Blue is still a joke and I will never fly with them again. I’ll take my chances with Spirit airlines. And no one ever wants to fly with Spirit Airlines.

App not working well. I was unable to complete a flight purchase on the app and had to move to a PC. It choked when I tried to enter my billing address (specifically, the state) even though I am a true blue member so it had my address. It just dumped me out of the app to home screen (iPhone). Same thing happened when I was picking a friend up at the airport and attempted to see the flight status, never could see that the flight had departed. I knew the flight was delayed but was never able to see its status online to anticipate the actual arrival.

SAD, SAD, SAD. Pretty upsetting.. Your software is all messed up. The seat assignments I made for myself and four others over a month ago seemed to have disappeared when we checked in today. Same thing happened to my wife and I a month ago. One of our travelers checked in today and got his and two boarding passes for two others when all he did was to ask for his boarding pass alone. Pretty sickening and disturbing but, unfortunately, what is one to do the day before the flight leaves. Same thing appears to have happened on our flight home next week. SAD!

Absolutely Terrible. I keep trying to Check in for my connection flights in Boston and New York. my first flight from Detroit to Boston is all set got my boarding pass and everything. but I’m trying to check in for my 5am flight to New York 917 and then my 9am flight to my final Destination St. Maarten 787 to get my boarding passes & the stupid jetBlue app says “we are having trouble processing your request check your connection and try again” EVEN THOUGH MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS WORKING FAST!!!!!! jetBlue you need to be on your A Game when it comes down to situations like this. This is the last time I’m flying jetBlue. I’m never flying jetBlue Again after I return from this trip. I’ve had a bad experience with jetBlue before and it’s happening again the first time was a long delayed flight and now this

Jet Blue Experience. We only fly JetBlue. There is only one item we disagree with- and that is the raised price for bringing a pet in a carrier under the seat. Cost to jetblue is zero- I could pay for the seat next to me cheaper than the $125 for the pet fee. Ours is an older well behaved cat. He bothers no one- he seems to enjoy his carrier and sleeps in it at home. My thought is that if a pet becomes a “known traveler” and is consistently well behaved- offer frequent flyer discounts. Fly twice, third is free or something. We will continue to always fly jetblue because we enjoy the jetblue experience- we recommend jetblue to everyone. We would just like to bring Dumbby more often.

Flights. There should be more options of direct flight from FLL to SDQ. That flight being at 5:50 am is way too early!! There should be a flight at 10 am at least!! Also, it would be great if there was a flight from PBI to SDQ, there are so many Dominicans that have to drive down to FLL in order to be able to catch that flight. If someone lives in Port St. Lucie and needs to be 3 hours before their flight to the Dominican Republic ( 3am ) they would have to start driving between 1:00 am - 1:30 am so they can catch that 5:50 am flight. But PBI would be great for all of us that live in Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties!!

Buggy App cost me $500. This app is an absolute mess. Tried booking a flight through it and there was no auto fill (you have to type the full cc number in instead of it pulling from you phone’s stored payment info). I couldn’t get the credit card section to work so I switched over to PayPal. I was able to complete the transaction there and got a confirmation ID, but when it jumped back to the JetBlue app, it crashed, my flight was lost and I never got a confirmation from JetBlue. After 2+ hours of waiting to talk to a human and after multiple rounds of horrible chatbot experiences, I went to rebook the flight and it was $500 more expensive. Needless to say I didn’t buy those tickets and will not be using JetBlue again for the foreseeable future. Word to the wise, stick with Delta.

What happed yo Jetblue. I am totally disappointed with JetBlue. I have been a JetBlue consumer for over 20 years. Lately, I have experienced nothing but flight cancellations, delays, and rude, unhelpful company representatives. After waiting more than 1/2 hour to speak with someone at 4:00 am in the morning, I was sent an email advising my flight was delayed and scheduled to land in a completely different airport! After finally being connected to someone( who barely spoke my language) having to ask her politely to speak up more than once, your representative put my call back in the “Q”. I had to wait all over again while in a cab to the airport, on my way to a flight JetBlue cancelled. I then had to pay for a round trip cab fare to and from the airport! Your people are tired to hearing complaints so they put your passengers back in the Q to wait all over again. Thank goodness I finally got a fabulous rep. After Ms. Rude. Shame on you JetBlue, my flight has had to be changed 3 times in a week, I’m still not sure if I will ever reach my designation! What in the world happened to JetBlue? You've now reached a new low!

Tomorrow is my birthday!. Tomorrow is my birthday! I’m just getting to the gate to wait for my flight and I’ve already been wished a happy birthday 4 times by employees that saw the date on my id or heard another employee say it! I felt welcomed as soon as I got to the counter and even though the baggage belt was broken, everyone seemed in good spirits! As a former flight attendant with another airline and having a long career in the hospitality industry, I always notice and appreciate great customer service! Jet Blue is always the difference! Thank you for making me feel welcome and for smiling!

Lacks frequent flier practicality. I only recently started flying JetBlue consistently in the last year and while the flying experience is palatable - their mobile app is near useless. I started to write this review prior to the latest update and even after the update previously it had extremely limited functionality for a major airline. The latest update was comparable to putting lipstick on a pig. Cosmetic not functional. The biggest issue is the inability to change seats through the app, view a real-time seat map and view standby/upgrade list. To me, those are the 3 most important features of any airline app. Also it does not show TrueBlue activity only your point balance. The update seems to have improved the freezing and crashing but the app lacks frequent flier practicality of which would be expected for one of the top 4 US airlines. A ways to go.

Can't finish a booking on my ipad... Bugs bugs bugs. Looked for a support / feedback email or form. Didnt find anything on the app itself and the app store link "app support" is useless, so i guess this is the only place I can contact jetblue developers to let them know they need to do better debugging / testing. I have the latest iPad / ios / jetblue app. Got stuck before i could select the seats. Had to go and start all over from my iphone. On the phone once I hit submit on the last step, it refreshed and the submit button was green again, as if I still had to submit it again, it didn't give me a completed confirmation, even though I did receive a confirmation email. So both apps have bugs, they need more testing.

Constipated Airline Can’t Unload. Last JetBlue flight from LAX via a JetBlue connection departed 15min early, stranding about 35 passengers in LAX till 3:30AM. That was about a year ago and I decided to try it again due to a scheduling constraint. Boy was that a huge mistake. I board the plane early, and having PAID for a carryon bag, tried to put my bag in the overhead, only to be refused by the flight attendant, because my bag was small. Meanwhile, gate agents let everyone board with their oversized carryon roller bags. Flight attendant was the stereotypical passive aggressive troll we all see in the movies. Then got to sit on the tarmac for an hour while JetBlue had some scheduling system error. This airline line deserves to be bankrupt, I hope the acquisitions are blocked so some new competition can get into this market.

Unreliable in an emergency. Worst airline app. For some reason it has a lot of bugs which makes the app lag when trying to book a flight. Someone or whoever is in charge of the app NEEDS TO UPDATE IT. Then when I called for customer assistance over the phone the clerk was rude and unprofessional when trying to assist me in booking a flight I had missed because my daughter had surgery that went over it’s time. But regardless I thought the app would save me time instead it waisted it. Take a look at your product it needs some modifications immediately

I LOVE JET BLUE. I have been flying Jet Blue for years and absolutely LOVE them!! I reached mosaic status for flying from NY to CA for work and let me tell you, the treatment is FIRST CLASS all the way. The staff is AMAZING and I always know in my heart that Jet Blue has hired the worlds BEST and most experienced pilots. I can’t tell you how many times I flew Jet Blue and the pilots announced that they were retired Navy pilots. I can go on forever with what I love about Jet Blue lol. Thank you for all that you do, each and everyone of you 💙 I’m writing this just as I’m about to book a secret getaway for my wife and I ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Jet Blue 😊

Booking Flights INOP. I’m a corporate pilot and have traveled all the major airlines and use their apps to book repositioning flights. JetBlue has by far the worse app for returning customers. Constantly freezes. Doesn’t save information correctly even when checking the box to “remember me” Everytime I’ve been on a time crunch to book a last minute ticket the app will freeze, then finally when it unfreezes and books the ticket, it’ll either tell you it’s sold out, timed out, or prices have gone up so you need to start the process all over. Delta and United I can find a flight and book in less than 20 seconds. I would expect the same for an airline like JetBlue to be the same but this is why they are lower tier air carrier unfortunately.

Nice App but Annoying Lock Screen Pop-up Persists. This is a very nice app. Very useful. Updates automatically when the gate changes for your flight, etc. I flew on JetBlue yesterday morning and the Boarding Pass showed up on my iPhone’s Lock Screen all day yesterday. That was fine. But, the problem is that the Boarding Pass keeps showing up on my lock screen TODAY also and I can’t seem to get rid of it!!! It’s really annoying. I don’t want to delete the app to solve this problem but I just might have to do that because there seems to be no way around it. I’ve tried changing the notifications in Settings but to no avail. JetBlue needs to fix this problem.

Buggy alerts. I have experienced several false alerts coming from this app that have caused minor confusion at a minimum, and at times full on panic. The latest false alert informed me that my flight’s departure time had been moved up by 1 hour and 40 minutes. I live 35 minutes from the airport so I rushed out of the house and drove as fast as I could through the rain, only to run into the airport at what I thought was 5 minutes late for my new departure time. While I was waiting in TSA, panicking that I had missed my flight, I was informed by a fellow passenger that the alert was bogus, and that the flight was scheduled to leave at its normal time. The JetBlue staff could not explain what had happened. Not only was this frustrating, it was dangerous. I foolishly took chances try to get to the airport that were unnecessary. All other functions in the app seem to work fine, if not a bit clunky. Until JetBlue fixes whatever is wrong with their alerting I would not trust anything this app tells you.

Excellent Customer Service/change of flight. I had the pleasure of speaking with Michelle, whose polite and friendly demeanor, changed my flights returning home to Boston from Saint Lucia, although Michelle rebooked them for the wrong day (perhaps it was miscommunication on my end), she was so helpful and eager to please! Once I received the confirmation email with the incorrect date, I immediately called back and spoke with Marie who was equally wonderful and happy to help!! I was so grateful that my layover went from 9 hours to 2 hours so I was able to save a whole day!! Thank you ladies! Kelly E.

App needs work. First time using Jet Blue and after using this app I have little confidence in this company. I keep getting bag fees added by their systems for a total of 8 bag charges for 2 people with only 1 bag each. Then emails about problems with their seat assignment system and i should go to “Seats” to make changes only there is no “Seats” icon or link. After calling their agents twice I was assured both times that the over charges would be fixed yet the 8 bag fees are still on app list of extra fees. The app overall is not as easy to use as other airlines so lower your expectations. They should try to emulate some of the other airlines apps to make it easier to use and find item like seat change. My first impressions are this airline will itself create other systematic hassles and snafus .

2nd review, the following year. Still buggy, this time the app loaded half of my ticket leaving me to wonder if I’m going to be stranded 800 miles from home on my return. The question is why am I even bothering with this app? Title if review 1: No place to sign out of this infuriating app. Have done the usual closing out; closing out and restarting iPad; and reinstalling app. None of these things have shut this app down. Also, attempting to send website feedback within app. Clicking the “send website feedback” link results in reloading the same page. After changing email, app threw me off. I figured I needed to sign back in w/new email. Once in, it started a crazy flashing by reloading at about 2-3 times a second….a big problem for anyone with epilepsy. Closing out & reopening didn’t stop it. Deleting & reinstalling app did. Will be permanently deleting app once feedback is accepted.

Free Fly-Fi is a sham!. I flew nonstop, which was great, BTW, from PDX to BOS. On both flights my in-seat TV screen didn’t work. When I politely notified the flight attendants, I was given a dismissive excuse. Take your pick: “oh, that seat must be broken,” “oh sorry, you’re sitting in one of six rows without a connection,” “they’re working on a reset,” “due to aircraft movement, the pilots can’t reset it.” And my favorite (on the return flight) “we’re flying too close to Canada so the service is spotty.” These excuses are lame! Listening to screaming infants is hard. Having earphones helps. Please don’t advertise having TV for 5-plus hour flights if you can’t provide it!

How this company it’s really working!!!!. I have since yesterday trying to communicate with someone they let me waiting two hours in the phone them call just get disconnect they change the time or my flight just like that I was having another flight with three people they put them in a diferente airplane different time without even let me know thanks god I’m always checking the app they don’t care even if you lose your money now I been calling since yesterday any respond right now I have 2hours and 43 minutes nothing I send also emails and nothing this it’s really crazy

Was a great app, now it’s unusable.. I adore JetBlue as a carrier. Best employees, best in-flight experience. But my goodness has this app going to ****. It is virtually impossible to book a flight anymore. App is stuck on “Loading” flight options for over 15 minutes. Tried re-installing the app, and it worked! Once! But it froze again on entering traveler information. There is something about this app that is completely wrong at the integration level with JetBlue’s database. Anytime the app has to interact with realtime information, it freezes. Started happening when the app introduced “Cookies.” From a Mosaic member, been traveling with you guys for over a decade: FIX IT. Until then, I’ll be booking via a browser.

App is glitchy. This is a review for the JetBlue app, not the airline (the airline is great by the way). I’ve found that the app is extremely glitchy and has limited functionality compared to other major US airlines. There are two things the app seems to consistently struggle with: 1) Authentication: the app seems to log me out for unknown reasons, and erroneously rejects my password, which I confirmed works on the desktop website. 2) The manage my trip function is often not working. It will return be back to the same summary page when I click on “manage my trip” without showing an error. 3) Other than a few primary features, many functions of this app open an embedded browser window and redirect to a page on JetBlue’s website.
