Doesn’t work anymore. I contacted the developer and ever since my update to iOS 12, it no longer will provide an elevation.

Great app. Live in SC and this helped during flood to determine my elevation 5 Stars

Too many ads!. The app constantly served me ads to the point of being disruptive. So much that I decide to uninstall it after a few minutes. There are less intrusive apps.

Garbage. Used to work, last 10 or so times I’ve tried to use it just get a message to try again in a few minutes as an ad pops up that you can’t close!

Homework saver. I had a homework assignment where I had to find the elevation of places, and this helped me so much, thank you!!!

A little confusing. Doesn’t always work as I would like it to.

Review. Brings me back to my location when in gps mode and won’t allow me to change modes. Some elevations are not accurate. An example would be an intersection I checked. The elevation showed over 13 ft. However I know this intersection floods whenever tide is above 6 foot.

Use. Too difficult to use!

So unuser friendly. This is the most unuser friendly app I have ever seen. When I try to see the elevation between 2 locations with little distance it goes all away around the world instead . Most of the time when I click to pinpoint a location to see the elevation it doesn’t show the elevation. And let not forget about how it freezes every 2 minutes, literally. Over all this is a terrible app, probably the worst I have seen on the AppStore and I am on the App Store a lot Honestly a 10 year old kid could have made this app in his basement

Elevation. This app is nice to have since we live in Southwest Florida & need to know our elevation for Hurricane purposes. Often hurricane forecasts include storm surge possibilities. This app would be easier to use if elevations were reported in feet rather than meters. It takes an extra step to convert meters to feet after seeing an elevation on this app. Storm surges are forecasted on potential feet.

Totally useless app. No matter what location I try to view elevation for (and the “pinpointing” function is DEFINITELY NOT user-friendly) it gives me the “please come back in a few minutes” message. This happens at EVERY location except my present location. DON’T BOTHER TO WASTE TIME DOWNLOADING THIS APP.

Garbage. Garbage app. Non-functional.

Doesn’t work. Work in Sonora , CA up the mountains . The ellevation doesn’t work . Save your time downloading the app.

Good app. Works great and if you select settings on the bottom right you can change a lot of settings in there like meters to feet and so forth. Only complaint and why I gave them 4 not 5 was for all the ads and spam that come up and ruin the experience.

Broken to the point of unusable. The application frequently pauses to show ads, and has a > 50% chance of freezing and becoming completely unresponsive after each ad. Basically unusable.

Does work for me. I can’t figure out how to check an elevation without being there. I use oxygen and do not do well at high elevations. I want to be able to follow a road through mountains passes as I plan my road trips.

Altitude. Switched to free map tools

Worthless. Nice app if you pay the price. Otherwise, it has more adds than a soap opera

Harvey survivor. I live in Houston. This app was used numerous times every day during the storm to track my homes elevation vs where the news was reporting flooding. Great app.

Free version is worthless, I won’t waste $ to see if paid version is better. I found it extremely difficult to use and the instructions were not clear. Deleting it now.

Flaw since updates. This app used to work excellent in Matagorda County, Texas, but now the elevations are way off. The app has become useless. When you check a location that is at sea level and it reports 39’ above sea level something is very wrong.

Useless. The only thing working on this app is the adds. Either “try again” or just “calculating”

Not the best. Program fails to provide elevations of places I’m at. Keeps referring to home elevation no matter where I’m at. Program needs some work.

Useless. Every time I try to get the elevation of a location it says “try back in a few minutes”. Have not been able to get any information from the app.

Didn’t work. Title says it all. Instantly downloaded another app that worked right away.

Elevations do not run true. I know the elevations where I set pins. They were alarm from the edge of the lake where I live. I know the elevation of the shoreline of the lake. Also as I went around the lake setting pins on the shoreline they were off by at least 15 to 20 feet from each other.

Useless. I’m in the Rockies and it’s telling me Im at 790 feet.

“Please try again in a few minutes...”. What’s worthless app. I got the above message for ten minutes. Deleted.

Works. This one works great as long as there is internet connection. I’m very happy with its performance.

Simply no longer works. This app use to correlate with some database that permitted it to provide an approximate elevation wherever you moved the cross hairs. Now when you designate a spot on the earth’s surface with the cross hairs and request the elevation, you get a message saying “Please try again in a few minutes.” Unfortunately, you just keep getting that message no matter how long you leave the app open and wait.

Too many ads. Ads playing all the time. Only seems to give relative altitude which is no help.

Good but some suggestions. I would like if this app would have the pointer say the elevation before placing it and also please get away the please try again in a few minutes absolutely useless.

System Crashes. This app crashes as soon as you try to plot anything across a map. Waste of time.

Works well. Pretty good but not entirely accurate.

Takes up way too much of the screen. Still works well however after the last few updates and extra features, on my iPhone SE this seems to be about half of the screen left to see the map and navigate. Not impressed.

Useful but slow. Useful for elevation if you want an approximate number. I haven’t cross referenced it with a topographic map. You can’t check many spots in a short space of time, it tells you to try again in a few minutes

Does not even start now. After the last 2 updates, this won't even start now Please repair Another update that does nothing functional, still will not open at all, it does not work on ios 9.6. It took 4 updates for me to realise it is just not going to work, I'm a bit slow obviously

Precision +\-5 meters minimum.. I put the market on the river in front of my house and on street. Marking river 5 meters higher than my street!!! (Ne sense) And on close flat river, marker at 100 meters distant indicate 10 meters difference. Totally absurd.

Too glitchy to be usefull. Was able to get elevation numbers less than half the time. Switching M to ft wouldn't function consistently either.

Great app. I thought this app great for watching all reports on the hurricanes in the US. Made storm surge reporting easier to understand.

Traveler. Works great. Just used it on a trip to Arizona and it performed as advertised. It will not give you your altitude while in the Southwest 737, nor did I expect it to.

Works for Me. This app works for me without problem. I use it to get confirming elevations to elevation points on my other GPS. The only issue I have is getting rid of location pins...

Flawless. Check the elevation of a home before you buy it. Drop pins on several locations and compare! Awesome!

Not as great. Not as great as I first thought. I'm a truck driver, and some jobs take me Into the higher elevations. I check tons more then 50 times in a day... I don't see any point to having a limit when I found another app that does not give a limit. My ears are a lot more sensitive than most, so I'm sorry that I have to uninstall and likely won't recommend this particular app to anyone.

Crash. Like the reduced significant digits, it was silly to have 7 digits after the decimal. However, latest upgrade loads and exits several times before ending in error message that 20 lookups a day max is exceeded

Forget it. Reached its 20 lookup per day limit within seconds after I first loaded it - without even moving my location.

Doesn't actually find elevation at your location. Seems to use a pre-mapped location nearest to you -- so if you're at the bottom of a hill but the town you're in is obliquely mapped at a point at the top of the hill, it just gives you the town's/hilltop's elevation. What's the use of that?

Elevation. Very helpful in get elevation on cape cod water front property for flood insurance. You have to pay for register surveyor $2000 to get you information weather property is above or below sea level .With this app. you get a good idea if your wasting you money to have it done.

Shocker. I was checking elevations in the wasatch range and repeatedly clicking the get elevation button- little did I know I could only use 50 pins. That's really dumb. Not a good app.

Latest update killed location feature. Latest update fixed a bug that was showing location at 0;0 (longitude;latitude). Now it does what it says on the box.

It works. Perfect, I manage to get an idea about elevation for my home and other homes around me.

Why is it limited?. It only lets me pinpoint 50 elevation spots in a day... Why cant i have this unlimited? I would pay a buck if it unlocked it for unlimited use... I like the app. It works really well. Simple, fast, and easy.

Works, but needs refinement.. Is accurate and displays elevation well. Can switch between feet and meters. However there is no way I can see to remove a pin. And the app irritatingly snaps back to your current location if you scroll around with the map.

Not too bad. App is good for close estimate. We checked several locations, one was an old home we knew the elevation on, and it was very close. When using app, you have to make sure the location you are checking is in the crosshairs, then tap get elevation. It's pretty easy to use.

Works Great. Despite all these negative reviews I find the app to work great for mapping out differences in elevation within a certain area (to within the nearest .1 m).. I think that's impressive and the app is simple and useful for me.

Elevation. Love this program so i know how high i am. I hike a hill daily to 5650 and i thout it was higher. I start at 5050, so it is not bad.

Worthless!. The elevation at my house is off by 500 ft. Altitude in Auburn valley varies by almost three hundred feet, on flat ground, a block apart.

Needs help. Got blank page on all three selections. There was a pin in center of page. My elevation was -5002 meters I need this in feet. Thanks not good in math.

Needs coverage to work. If you are in a place with cell coverage this gives a pretty good estimate. I tried using it in mts. of Colorado and it just quits when you have no bars.

Elevations. Really a neat tool. Would like for it to be a little more sensitive to the touch when trying to pinpoint an area, but it is still accurate.

i like it. its helped us resolve several arguments and estimates. it does a great job of finding where you are.

Simply Doesn't Work. Press the + to find your elevation and app just closes.

Adequate app. Nice enough if you know where you're going and where it's located. Would be better if one could type the address whose altitude one wanted to know.

Inaccurate. I was at an elevation over 6,000 feet and it said I was only around 1,000. Not accurate.

Performs as Advertized. It does what it said, accurately and promptly. Don't need to reach the daily limit of 50. Thanks for a good app.
