Best app out there for animal tracking!. This app has been an invaluable tool out in the field it is easy to use and is filled with many interesting facts about the animals themselves. Plus the developer is very responsive to user feedback about any problems or issues that you might have about the app, I highly recommend this app very much when it comes to identifying animal tracks in the field.

Best out there. I have to say this is the best App in this category and worth every penny. Though the price is up there, it has paid for itself and is a great educational tool for kids and adults.

Like having a field guide in your iPod Touch. This is a great app. I never carry a track field guide with me in the field and there are often occasions when I wished that I had one. This app gives you the mammal tracks you a likely to want. I like the photos of scat as well...not that I like scat...but the photos are very useful.

Not what I expected. I wanted to snap a photo and find out what animal tracks I was seeing. These are illustrations with what animal made them; a $3 booklet at my local sports store. I purchased the pro app for $14 and it prompted be to upgrade to a bundle, so for 14 more dollars I get the basic version too ? I’m confused and feel ripped off.

Incredible Tracking and Natural History App. As an outdoor educator, I have been on a search for great tools to help teach the public about tracking and the natural world. Once I used this app it quickly jumped to the top of the list. This app contains tracks and signs of most of the common mammals that one would encounter in the United States. What is great about this app is that it shows actual pictures of the animal tracks, with descriptions as well. Along with tracks, there are photos for each animal's sign as well- what their scat looks like, feeding signs, etc. I also appreciate all of the information that is now stored in the app from Wikipedia. It is great to have the information stored in the app for offline viewing, which comes in handy when you want to look up information about the animal but you don't have a wireless signal. I also want to highlight the search feature which makes it easy to narrow down possible species based on size, toes, shape and your location, to name a few. Great job! I would recommend this app to anyone!

Pretty good material BUT.... As a wildlife expert I'd say this is a good app but as a consumer who has used the other related apps I'd say this is way too expensive. Though some other apps are only iPhone native in general I'm in the field with the iPhone not iPad. Anyway, just a caution that this isn't worth 3 to 7 times the price of other similar apps (some of which also include additional features).

It’s still the best out there!. I’ve been using this app for the past year year and a half or so after taking a tracking class here in the south west. It is by far the best way to identify animal tracks and sign. I would love it if he could upgrade and diversify the data perhaps by teaming up with someone who has done extensive work and is only published in books. Jonah, thank you for this great app and I look forward to improvements in the coming years.

Fantastic deal. The amount of information you receive from this app is invaluable. Itrack pro is an incredibly useful tool in the field of wildlife tracking and I would highly recommend this investment for anyone interested in tracking or simply curious about North American wildlife.

I had so much fun using this app.. I loaded the app and went right to our local State Park. I was able to identify skunk, raccoon and cottontail rabbits using iTrack. I found it very easy to use yet very comprehensive. I'm going to be checking the creek bed frequently for mountain lion and bobcat tracks. I'm really excited about all the information in this app, how easy it was to use, and highly recommend this app to hikers and naturalists. Also, it would be a great tool to use when taking kids and students on hikes or field trips.

I LOVE Jonah's iTrackWildlife App!. This fabulous app has been crucial to my tracking education. Everywhere I go, I can get in some dirt time with this app as an invaluable teacher. Mostly I track alone, but with this app I have master tracker Jonah Evans with me right there in my pocket! No need to lug heavy books! Best $$ I have ever spent.

Solid app. This a great app for figuring out what is wondering around in the woods. I use it all the time in my environmental education programs. I highly recommend this app even if you are an experienced tracker.

Great App. This app is so much better than any clunky field guide but is not as thorough as I had hoped. What you will see when you look at the sign button varies. I guess I was hoping for a more uniform package like my bird app. Definitely worth the money though!

A must-have for naturalists. This app has been extremely valuable! I've used it when consulting with landowners and to refresh my skills with ID-ing tracks and sign. The photos and descriptions are excellent in combo with the drawings/diagrams. I can't recommend it highly enough!!

Finally a real tracking app!!!. I've tried all the other tracking apps. They are filled with mistakes, bad drawings, and misinformation. This app is really easy to use and has tons of great info. But above all, its accurate! Well worth the money. Most tracking books are much more expensive and this one is always in my pocket. Thank you!

It's ok. It's expensive and there should be more animals for the money. But what you do get is pretty good.

Faulty portions of app. In the 'Tracking Tips' tab all choices cause the app to close out to the IPad homescreen. In the 'Help' tab the following choices causes the app to close out to the Ipad homescreen - *Getting Started *Using Ipad Search Tools *Provide Feedback *About All other choices within the 'Help' tab seem to function properly. Once this app is fixed and operating properly I will give it a 5 star rating - hope it gets fixed soon.

Fantastic App. I am using this on my Iphone 5 on my field trips. It is totally self-contain for off line use. Very accurate tracking expert guides me as I look around. Better than any field manual I ever own. The developer fix the small wording in two days. So the text is now easy to read. Support this app by buying it.

convenient. It is great to loose the weight of all my guide books from the pack and this AP helped me do that . Plus in many cases the information was better because of the quality of the photos and a picture of the animal. I love the section called similar as it is very helpful. Also included are photos of obscure versions of the tracks which helps in ID a great deal.

Awesome App!. I spend most of my days in the woods Photographing wildlife and Herping. I'm always coming across tracks, footprints, marks, scats and having no idea what animal left them. So I've been looking for an App that shows all of that in the simplest knowledgable form and this App is what I was looking for. It's easy to use and holds so much detail of each animal. I've actually learned quiet a bit from this App already. I look forward to future updates adding more animals and etc. Great job!!

Get this App!. This is a GREAT app! Most of the time when I'm in the field I'm carrying one or more field guides, but not always. I do have my iPhone, though, set on vibrate, just in case there's an emergency. Now that iPhone is even more of a "must have" on outings since I have iTrack Wildlife on it. It's very easy to use, and I love the "Similar" feature, which lets you pull up what you think it might be (say Harvest Mice) then hit "Similar" and see Deer/White-footed Mouse, Vole, and Shrew, so I can do a fast comparison. Does it have everything on it that you could possibly want? Not yet (get real; it's not Mark Elbroch's "Mammal Tracks & Sign" -- it's an app for your iPhone), but it's got a lot and I fully anticipate this app is just going to get better and better with updates. Very impressive!. I've been waiting for years for a quality tracking app to be developed. ITrack Wildlife exceeds all expectations. Not only does it have the photos and search features that you would hope for, but it also has a number of features that I never would've thought of but am sure I will use in the field often. This is a tracker and biologist's dream app.

ITrack Wildlife. I love this app! I'm a professional military tracker and survivalist. Tracking animals is a bit more in-depth though. They really do the things they do through instinct and not out of deception like humans do, lol. Great app PEOPLE!!!👍😎

iTrack Wildlife review. This app, for the price, could be more inclusive. When compared to current e-books on tracking, they have a lot more content for less money. It has over 60 of the common wildlife species, but would be more useful with many more. It works well on the iPhone, but using an iPad, it stays locked in portrait mode and does not currently support landscape view. If the developer can keep adding content and provide landscape view for the iPad, then I would up my rating to. 5 stars and it would be worth the price.

Must have for anyone interested in tracking. This is a must have for both the novice tracker and professional biologists. Having taken a tracking course instructed by Jonah, who is one of the best track experts in the USA, I was excited that he was putting his photos into an app. This app exceeds my expectations. The search function and information about each animals' track and gait is excellent when trying to identify tracks. I also like how similar species are listed, with explanations about common mistakes when identifying tracks. The number of animals listed is extensive, and I can't wait for more updates.

Makes Track Identification Easy!. This application is extremely handy! I've used it in the field many times to identify tracks and scat. It's so much more efficient and useful than a guidebook, allowing me to quickly correlate the tracks I see with the animals that left them. I highly recommend this app to hikers, campers, naturalists, and anyone else who encounters animal tracks and wants to know which animals they are crossing paths with. This app is brilliant!!!

Best track app I’ve found for the US. I found this app to be a handy reference to always have on hand. It would be nice to have the option of sorting the species taxonomical instead of alphabetically. A quiz feature could also be fun.

Best digital field guide to wildlife tracks by far. I am a professional wildlife tracker and wildlife tracking teacher with over a decade of experience in the field. This is by far the best digital field guide to wildlife tracking that I have seen. It was obviously created by a highly qualified and very knowledgeable wildlife tracker. It is full of numerous high quality photographs. The content is really good and it is well laid out. I like having the ability to look up track photographs, range information, animal behavior, and even mammal skull photographs all in my phone. I find myself using this app often while out in the field, as a track photo reference for my students, and to look up information on range and habits of specific species. Though this app is not cheap, it is well worth the money, and is half the price you would pay for a comparable quality paper field guide. All of the other wildlife tracking apps that I have seen are horrible. They are full of mistakes and even in some instances made up false information. They may be cheaper, but what is the point of purchasing a reference app such as this if it contains incorrect or misleading information? I highly recommend this app for anyone interested in wildlife tracking, animal behavior, or nature.

Itrack!. Love this app! Great learning and teaching tool. Couldn't return to the home page when first installed without closing the app each time. I emailed Jonah about the problem. Super impressed with the immediate response and help! He and Apple had the problem fixed and the update ready to go in no time. I spend a lot of my spare time outside in all seasons.
