Great App & Bluetooth!!. The voyager 5220 is fantastic! I have owned previous versions and enjoyed them as well. Top of the line technology, great supporting app, and friendly customer service if/when needed. I have not had to call customer service in over a year because the app works so well and is able to help me solve the few issues that have come up!! I would recommend of the voyager 5222 anyone!! Excellent job!!

Peculiarities seem to persist. I love my new 6200’s. They’re all day comfortable . Noise cancellation is excellent. Several times today when I tried to use the app to report battery life, it said no headset connected, even though the headset has been on my head and in use all day. The only thing I can think of is that I left my phone on my desk and walked out of range with my headset. When I got back into range , the program audio reconnected but apparently the Hub app does not do that at this point . 5 stars for the 6200’s 3 stars for the app.

Great earpiece but...... I’ll make this short and sweet. This is a great earpiece for the price point. If I could add a feature it would be flash when you use the app ” find my earpiece” the sound the is emitted isn’t loud enough to hear even if you're in the room. I usually walk around waiting for the phone to pair and then conduct a though search. In a perfect world, I’d add a charging case like the Motorola has ( for protection) but you can’t have everything. If a strobe flash was added this would be gold!

Finally Tracker Works!? Only if it's ON!. Finally after losing 10 of these the tracker almost works! Now the tracker and app it will never be lost unless you Fail to leave it on! It will only give you a proximity of when it was last ON. I Love this earpiece over all others including wireless stereo, Beats, Bose and HereOne!, Just awesome works and lasts 7hrs of talk time and deep sleep 180 days no other even comes close. Just leave it on always and you will not lose it. I should be able to activate it remotely then you will get 5 Stars!

Looks matter. Design matters.. How are you not ashamed of the way this app utilizes the screens of nearly all new iOS devices? This looks like an app from the days of the iPhone 6 days. Your company has gone through a bit of a rebrand quite a while ago. It seems strange that this change isn’t reflected here. I’m super excited for my sync 20 to arrive, but looking at this makes me worry about the software. That said, I assume it works just fine. And hopefully I won’t need to visit the app too often. Perhaps a new app is being worked on where it would make sense to only deploy maintenance releases on this one. We’ll see. Good luck.

Best headset ever. Out of all the headsets I’ve owned including a few Plantronics, this is by far the best. The noise canceling feature works very well, the sound quality is wonderful, the Alexa feature is great and the icing on the cake is the ‘Find My Headset’ feature in the plantronics App. This is a feature that is a must for any headset app.

It works quite well and easy to update. Downloaded the app to update my UC 5200 firmware. Was easy to change headset setting and other features I never knew about, which is easily done over mobile than on desktop. The find head set feature is also nice as well as other apps.

Loosing my headset. I’ve lost it twice. Once while it was off and once while it was on. The app did help find the street the first time when I shut it off. So history is great. But in the case when I left it on, history took me to my house. It should have connected again when I got back in the house and it didn’t even though it was still on. When I found it I went into settings to get it to reconnect. Then tried the tone and I could hear it. It should have connected on its own. I was within a few feet. But it just said not connected. If I get 20-30 feet away I loose connection. And in the house with different rooms only 10-20 feet. On the good side it’s great being hands free. I can hear who I’m talking to and they can hear me clearly. If there was something they can do to help find the lost headset while it’s off (Like an emergency back up battery or something) it would be a “5”.

Awesome. I’m a truck driver and this headset puts the blue parrot to shame!!! It cancels noise better and is much more comfortable to wear! It also charges much faster than the parrot! I also purchased the charging clamshell. Another awesome plantronics device! This is by far the best headset I’ve ever owned! 10 stars to the engineering and design departments!!! Keep up the great work, you have in me a customer for life!!!

PLT V3200 series. Since the upgrade, once again this is my go to blue tooth. I am a blue tooth and hand free user since the first hands free came out 18 years ago. When wireless was introduced jawbone was the best pick. Then jawbone continually went down hill. Then I found PLANTRONICS, this series. What a terrific earbuds. Then the iPhone kept updating its IOS, PLANTRONICS didn't keep up. I was so disappointed. It repeatedly unpaired even during calls. Now with their upgraded device, it works perfectly. I now have the iPhone x. No problems. Thank you PLANTRONICS for a terrific head set. I have changed the part that goes in the ear for comfort. I would like to post a pic, but I'm not given the option. I use the jawbone replacement ear cushions. It sits snug over the PLANTRONICS cushion with the part that is suppose to place in ear trimmed off.

Very good Bluetooth earpiece. I love everything about this earpiece. It tells me who is calling. Fits either ear. It doesn't go all the way in the ear so it is so comfortable that you barely notice it's in your ear. If you move too far away from the phone it tells you that you are disconnected. Nice soothing female voice. Best of all quality is superb. Noise cancellation is awesome. The only thing I noticed is occasionally being in the vehicle with the air on high sometimes the caller can hear the air noise.

PLT 2900 won’t turn off. I have been using the Plantronics BT headsets for years. They all have performed well, however, This last one will not turn off. I keep two active so I have one while the other is charging. This last one, the 2900 won’t let go. The only option I have is to go into BT settings and say, “Forget this device” If I leave the house and use my other PLT BT headset, when I get back, the 2900 takes it back even if I’m in the middle of a call, or listening to a video. Constantly causing problems. I’d be hesitant to buy a replacement, knowing it might be the same way…

Find my Bluetooth plantronics 5200. There absolutely should be a way to find your Bluetooth when it’s off as most people try to conserve their battery life by shutting off their Bluetooth when not in use. I work around that by making sure I put it on the charger and shut it off because my charger location doesn’t change unless I take it with me.

This device is worth the price better than apple. This device the voyager 5200 is way better than apple device, believe me it’s way cheaper and better quality, built, I prefer this than using the apple EarPods I have to say you could use Siri and even has feature that the apple EarPods cannot. The app also works well it will pair up your device with no problem plus you get 7 hours of talk time and 5 to six days on standby

Happy User. This app has saved me so many times…from going absolutely MAD!! It has never failed to take me right to my Bluetooth Headset..as long as it was connected of course!! Much thanks and I would definitely recommend this app if only to help find your headset and keep your sanity!!

Doesn’t work with my iPad. I was able to instantly connect my Bluetooth Voyager Focus UC headphones with my iPhone and my MacBook Pro. But despite the App Store saying my iPad mini was compatible with the headphones, the Bluetooth connection was never recognized in system settings. Apple checked my iPad and said the Bluetooth was working (and I can connect other devices). Poly (after waiting 40 minutes on hold) could not figure out the problem.

Love the headset, even on cycle. I occasionally first to take my headset of when riding and it doesn’t get blown off by the air going by. Thank goodness. Love the feature sand the battery life and I have two cell phones (android/iphone) and it works with both, all the time. I have used the find my headset feature several times and it works great. Just have ot turn the volume all the way up. Extremely happy with this and the portable charging case.

They think of EVERYTHING. Plantronics continues to outdo themselves they are an innovative company that takes pride in their customers and their needs. I have not went back to any other headsets since I’ve experienced Plantronics. I still have other Plantronics headset Bluetooth that still are in excellent condition and works fine. I really like all of their features and the ease of using them

Still love the Legend better but. I have both the Legend and the 5200. The app works better with the 5200. I needed to use the find my headset feature on the legend and idle it wasn’t in your ear... never would be able to find it. Disappointing. The Legend give more commands and notices than the 5200. I especially like the feature where you push the button and it say if connected on not. Given both headsets will without notice that’s an important feature.

It’s the best. I’ve had a lot of Bluetooth devices over the years and this is the only one that people never tell me “I can’t hear you or your sound muffled”. I’ve even talked to people while on a bike tour (bicycle) that had me riding in the wind while doing about 25 miles per hour down hill and they had no problem hearing me with wind blowing all around me. I couldn’t believe it. So it’s worth the money!

Best Headset I’ve Owned!!!. This is THE BEST Bluetooth headset I have owned. And I’ve own MANY of the other brands. With those, either the sound fades, the battery doesn’t last long, the noise Cancellation doesn’t work as advertised or the background noise is so loud I have to put my phone on mute when I’m not talking. I never had a Plantronic because I didn’t like the “look”. Well, after owning all the others on the market, Bose Soundsport (2 different ones), 2 Jawbone 2s, iPhone Earbuds, Sennheiser . . . I broke down and got one. I could have saved myself ALOT of money if I had just bought this Voyager. Honestly, it great. Clear sound, no background noise, long battery life . . . If you’re looking for a headset that is functional and works great, get a Plantronics. Forget those others and save yourself some time and money. You won’t regret it. (BTW, I’ll sale you my old ones for cheap if you don’t believe me).

No connection. I have had a 5200 series for about 3years. Well as soon as they released. I love my original headset, enough so that I got a 2nd. The problem is it will not connect to this app even when other is off and charging. I have tried to remove both devices then add only the new one to phone. Immediately PLT hub asks for permission. I allow but when it brings me too the Home Screen of app it says it’s not connected. I need it to connect so can update firmware…….. flustered I guess. Will update to 5stars if you all can help me figure this out.

PLT app doesn’t keep up with iOS.... I have stopped using my Plantronics headset. Since the last few updates and the last upgrade for my headset, cannot use the headset any more. It goes dead after a few minutes and silently disconnects. Have to turn it off and back on again to only use it for a few more minutes. It worked fine before the update to this app and then the update to the headset. My NC-25 headphones work all day with no disconnects and the stereo audio is better. But the PLT 5200 is not usable any more. I like it better for traveling. If it would work.

Explorer 500 series PLT HUB. The headset it’s self is a great product one of the best I’ve owned anyway! However the main reason I downloaded the PLT HUB app, was for the “find my headset”. I am the worlds worst at laying it down and forgetting where! Unfortunately the only way it works is if the headset is on. And in my case that didn’t help me at all. I give the app (not the headset) 3.5 stars! Reason behind the half star is because this app was able to tell me the last location it was connected which was at work so I was able to save time looking for it because I knew then that I didn’t lose it at home or anywhere but had to be at work. All in all the app is helpful could use a little work but adds quality and is a good feature to go along with the headsets!!!!

What a great app!!!. The only thing that could be better is the volume of the find my ear piece isn’t that loud and it needs to have some sort of override so that you can take advantage of the find my ear piece app even if you have not turned the ear piece on yet also put a back up battery that only the find my ear piece selection can use other than those couple things it is genius!!!!

I would pay you to overnight me a a dirty sock in trade for this app. I’ve tried using this app multiple times, and I find that it is completely useless. The icon has nothing to do with what the unit actually does and there’s nothing recognizable about the icon so you would ever connect that it has anything to do with the headset. It’s literally nothing more than garbage where on your phone to collect data and provide you with absolutely zero services to operate your headset. So I shall delete it. And while the sound quality and noise canceling is great on this headset, it completely causes my iPhone 13 pro max to go goofy and switch itself back-and-forth from Bluetooth the speaker to phone so you have to in the course of making or receiving a call reset it back to Bluetooth to sometimes three times per call, so you sound like the idiot going, can you hear me now, oh, I’m so sorry I have so many Bluetooth things they just get confused. It’s not all the Bluetooth things it’s this headset/app. I literally think a Smurfs was contracted to develop this app. Like jokey Smurf. But jokey Smurf with a bad passive aggressive, dark side. It’s like giving me $100 bill that’s been rolled in a pile of Ebola juice. No thanks!!!

New Poly App is worthless - Doesn’t work with Tile. A big selling point for me to get the Plantronics headset has always been that it works with the Tile app. Once Poly changed to the Poly app, it no longer works with Tile. Unlike Tile, the Poly app can only track the location when the headset is turned on, and the headset no longer beeps when being located. The app also doesn’t have the same settings available. It is the most worthless app, and such a technological step backwards that it’s beyond disappointing and I will no longer buy Poly products.

Marquee 2 M180. I lost my previous earpiece and replaced it with this model. The biggest issue I have is the lack of announcing a phone number or name with an incoming call. Also, I find the “find my phone” feature of the app useless since it doesn’t emit a loud tone when off the ear. If I’m wearing it, it isn’t lost. I didn’t see any update for the phone’s software so I deleted the app. For business, I prefer to hear who is calling before I answer. I may now replace this headset for something that meets my needs.

Find Your Headset Feature Works !!. I was skeptical of his feature set. However it works very well. This headset is no toy, it has lived with me on job sites daily for over three years. The battery lasts for most situations and recharged quickly on its charger protective base. Getting a full day of use is no problem. Everyone comments on the clarity of my voice on calls.

Great headset! Find headset feature stinks. The headset itself usually works great. Sometimes it does things differently than it did the day before, but once you know it’s idiosyncrasies it’s easy to work around. It still better than anything else i’ve used. However the find your headset feature stinks. I couldn’t find my headset save my life, though it was only 2 feet away from me. Little while later I happen to see it and found it. So I tested find your headset feature again. The tone that came out of the headset was so quiet, unless I was wearing it I couldn’t hear the tone.

Found in Attic. If you rename your Bluetooth device generic paired name in “General Settings - Bluetooth”, for instance because you have multiple identical devices you need to tell apart, this app will not recognize or allow the “friendly named” device to be selected from the connected device list. The app can only find / recognize the generic device model names used in the pairing or device discovery process. However, I lost a Voyager 5200 headset while working as a remodeling contractor in an attic filled with blown insulation. Normally I don’t take it with me into attics. So talk about a needle in a haystack exercise. The app feature allowed me to sound the headset and locate in 16 minutes

Device is great. The app is fluff.. The many times I’ve tried using the find device feature I’ve had mixed results. A couple of times it has worked. Today, not so much. It indicated that the last time I was connected was two days ago. I had used the device yesterday, couldn’t find it today. When I listed it not found, I was directed to a list of devices to purchase. Additionally when I opened the app I was prompted to chose my device AGAIN. So they use every instance they can to show you their list of products. Conclusion; it’s an advertising app first, shotty device appendage second.

Tracking backwards. I left my PLT 5200 at a building and it was on so I could see it on the app. I knew exactly where it was left. I was able to see also when the location was moved and what time the device was turned off. My only wish is that it would block out background noise better. This is a great device otherwise.

Love the Legend,. I am on my fourth Platronics Legend. I had the Edge before and that particular one was hard to stay in my ear. Great noice reduction. I can blow dry my hair and talk on the phone and nobody can hear the blow dryer. My only complaint, would be, you can only find your Bluetooth if it is on. I wish there is a way we could locate the Bluetooth when it is off. I will always by Platronics. Before Platronics I used Jawbone.

Found it only because I had the app.. Knocked my headset off in the Lumber section of the hardware store. Did realize it until I got home an hour and a half later. We had made several stops so I didn’t know where I had lost it. The back track told me where to start looking. Was able to reconnect when I returned to the store. Was able to pin down the general area. Asked at least a dozen workers at the store if they had seen it. Was told to give my information and they would call me if they found it. Was able to tell them I knew it was there because the app told me it was and I wasn’t leaving without it. Finally found a cashier who knew where it was. Got it back and didn’t have to replace.

Great product. The best headset I have ever own. The earpiece is unique to only plantronics and fits my ear channel perfectly. Even after wearing it for 24 hours. Better than all headsets I have ever owned. And I have owned some of the most expensive on the market. What I learned is price doesn’t always determine quality.

5200 App Review. All in all I love the headset. The app provides a location service if you misplace it. The problem is that if the headset is not connected, it won’t accurately show where it is, only the last place it was connected. For me, it showed my hometown 100 miles away. I used the headset on the trip and the app didn’t update the location. Also, sending the tone to locate the headset isn’t loud enough to hear unless you have the headset on your ear.

Plantronics Rules!!. I’ve been using Plantronics hardware for about five years and for me the Explorer 500 headset is one of the finest ones out there. It’s simple to use and is lightweight enough for me to wear all day. Also, depending on where you buy it at - inexpensive too. This app is just what I needed to hold on to my earpieces (I have three). While searching for one I’ve even found one that I had forgotten about at work long ago. Perfect timing with the app as it is greatly appreciated.

Great App. I ran a quick errand and realized my headset was missing when I got home. I used the app to try to locate it. I couldn’t hear the location tone even on the loudest level. But I could tell it was somewhere in the car, garage or house as the app was obviously communicating with it. So I began to think that the tone must’ve been muffled somehow. Then it dawned on me that I had folded up a blanket and stored it away in a wardrobe. Sure enough that’s where it was. I repeat, GREAT APP!

Best headset I’ve ever own‼️. Compared to other well known brands such as Jabra and even the Plantronics Legend (my favorite up to this point) The Plantronics 5200 is hands down the best headset I’ve owned to date. I would never have imagined being able to replace my Legend with anything better, but they pulled it off with this model. Crystal clear communication on both ends, awesome noise cancellation, and seamless integration with my virtual assistant (Siri). It’s sweat and water resistance, accompanied with the PLT Hub, it just doesn’t get any better at this point, but if I were to be critical at all, it would be the inability to alter headsets assistants voice ie; as with Siri. But certainly not a deal breaker. The only other suggestion I would have, and certainly the more important of the two, is a longer talk time. I’m on the phone a lot through the day for work and a slightly longer talk time would be awesome ie; Jabra Storms 10 hr talk time. Regardless of these issues however, until they find a way to trump the 5200s capabilities, and over the top features, I can earnestly exclaim there’s no better headset out there.

Teri547. I agree with “losing my headset” Lancaster, KS: I would like to add to that: I think the pinging sound should be a little louder because you can pinpoint the location of the headset better. You give s warning that the sound would cause harm if it’s too loud but that would NOT be the case because I’m not wearing it— it’s lost so I’m safe all of the other comments I wholeheartedly agree with 200%, all of the plantronic headsets I tried were great my edge is wonderful, I’ll stick with the plantronics headsets.

Best app and earpiece on the market!. Hi! My name is James and I am a carpenter. I Work my hands all day remodeling homes and I work for myself so I do have to take a lot of phone calls. However the Plantronics your piece that I’ve been using for about 10 to 15 years probably ever since it came out is the best thing that ever happened to me and my work. Everyone is able to get their phone call through to me loud and clear. Even my dad with Parkinson’s who is only able to talk to me when I put my Plantronics your button. Find my headset doesn’t work all the time. The best feature of this app is find my headset. Unfortunately in recent weeks I have noticed that my headset shows as “not connected” even when I can see the battery meter and Bluetooth shows a connection. I can fix this by turning the headset off and repairing it... which defeats the purpose. Fix this and my rating will go to 5*. When this fails, but I see the device paired. I go back to playing a song off iTunes at max volume, which isn’t nearly as loud.

BEST LITTLE GADGET. Excellent device! Had one years ago that was so bad, I slung it out the car window into the woods and was happy to be rid of it. Development and improvement have come a long way, I’m happy to say. My hands are totally free to carry on whatever, and talk at the same time. Relieves stress on elbows/shoulders! Volume when trying to locate where it’s mislaid isn’t huge, but keep surroundings very quiet, no problem. Would be lost without it!

Definitely a time saver. This app has helped me find my headset to many times to count!! It’s a great headset however small so it’s easy to lay down and misplace in the midst of a busy day. The tone is easily heard from afar. When you’ve turned the headset off, it has the backtrack feature which also has helped recovery in my search. Just follow the dot.

Awesome Product. I bought a new Plantronics 5200 a few months ago and loaded the app on to my phone. What I love about this is it syncs up every single time so quickly. You can be on a call, put on the headset and turn it on without a break in conversation. The other thing is the customer support is fast, easy and simple. I wanted to buy a charger for the headset and after looking around, called customer support. They sent me the link with free shipping so I could conveniently buy the charger. Thanks everyone.

Great for two devices. I use it for both my phone and iPad. It connects to them both at one time. Which is better than any other headset I have. Also the find features are great and I find it every time. You can mute without having the device in front of you. The feature when a call come in it ask you to answer or ignore . I love all other features ! I have the iPhone beats. But I love this one more for music too. It is a must have. Muzik Diva!

Awesome. Lost my headset 2 days ago, forgot about this app. Realized it had to be around because it was showing connected still. Tried to send a tone, couldn’t hear it. Finally changed to the Loud and obnoxious tone and started 🚶‍♀️through the 🏡. Finally, I started hearing something!! It was buried in a 🧺 in my basement, fell out of my pocket or 👂 when I was doing laundry. Thank you for this app, I can return the headset I purchased yesterday that hasn't arrived.

Truly a Five Star Device & App. Like many others, I have spent hundreds of dollars on Bluetooth earpieces. This one is so nearly perfect I have three of them. And the app actually works, helps me find a misplaced device, and is accurate. I have three because on impulse I replaced one I was sure I had lost on the golf course (I always alternate between two). I went back to the course AT NIGHT and in the bushes where I remembered brushing against a branch, there it was. I have never had a complaint about sound quality or break-up. I have to touch my ear to be sure I have it on. Very comfortable even with glasses, exercise, all day use. Many times the reminder feature has prevented my leaving the office while forgetting my phone on my desk or side table. (I’m a doctor, so I can’t forget my tethered phone.) Plantronics has consistently brought DOWN the price while improving quality. Obviously these sturdy gems last for years, and firmware upgrades are a snap. Five stars. Addendum: The FIND MY HEADSET feature has saved me a ton of aggravation, time, and misery.

Decent app for headset. Great for managing settings without having to connect to a laptop. Average for “find my headset” feature because “loud and obnoxious “ should be exactly that. It isn’t. You pretty much have to be on top of it to hear it. It should be much louder to be useful. Yes, with BT it will reconnect and that gets you within 30 feet, but that doesn’t help much if it’s under or behind something. No app is ever perfect so I never give 5 stars anyway but can’t give 1/2 stars, so begrudgingly I give it a 4.

firmware update for voyager focus. allows firmware updates for other models but the voyager focus can only be updated via windows. is this some form of discrimination here.. why can’t a firmware be updated through ios just like the other models? firmware still on a 2015 version btw but still works. just don’t see the point of the app if it doesn’t aide in anything that i can already find online or on the manual. firmware would be the key reason but not for the voyager focus which is touted for enterprise use. certainly priced accordingly!

Great app for settings and finding a lost headset.. This app works seamlessly and is great for firmware updates and general settings.

What’s the point?. I HAD an app for my PLTBBFIT500 headphones, which worked fine. Then one day it disappeared and in its place, unbidden appeared this app for what looked like a completely different company and offered to connect headphones of a completely different brand/series. Not for my headphones. There is another app, Back Beat that PLT offer which you’d like to think SHOULD provide the same services as the original app, but doesn’t support my headphones. Really? ffs… Luckily my headphones connect easily to my iPhone 11 without the stupid apps.

Great earpiece and great app. I am living how lightweight my earpiece is - it has all features I need/want but keeps it simple. Great battery life, and how many times the app has saved me! I'm so glad I have a Plantronics!

RATE ME! RATE ME!! RATE ME!!!. Okay, for constantly hassling me to rate the app, you get zero stars. Unfortunately, Apple only allows a minimum of 1 star.

Background battery hog. Installed app and found it was the most battery using app. Topped the list for usage over 10 days.

Headphone great, app not so much. OK, so these headphones (Backbeat Pro2) are great, but having paired them to two devices, I can’t pair to another. It could be the new device, I don’t know, but I would like an instruction in the support section of the app which tells me how to either do a hard reset or forget a pairing...... then I could work out whether it’s my Sony smart TV that isn’t compatible with my headphones or some other problem. What’s available on the app is of no interest to me at all.

Won’t connect to my Edge. Ignores my Voyager Edge so I use my PC to update it. Ignores it even when it’s paired or not paired or forgotten. 🤷🏼 Pointless app.

WOW. This headset and app are awesome. The answer and ignore voice control needs a little work though.

WHERE ARE THE BACKBEAT 2100 SERIES. I get the idea of this app and its functionalities but they don’t have and of the backbeat 2000 and up. This is frustrating as my last headset got stolen I specifically replaced it with the same one because I saw this app and thought I would be able to track it if it ever got stolen or misplaced again. Needs to support MORE HEADSETS. Please add these.

Nice little app. Plantronics usually make great quality but generally ugly headsets, but its nice to see that with the M155 that they have taken design cues directly from the iPhone4. Just one little gripe, the beat box game needs individuaised icons so I can tell the sounds samples apart. --LATER EDIT TO MY REVIEW-- Just realised that this headset if actually inferior to the m100 that it replaces insofar as that it lacks the dual mic feature of the m100 that significantly cuts down wind noise. Why would plantronics do this?. The difference in quality when outside is so noticeable that I am looking to replace my m155 with another m100 (that I had stepped on) Bottom line; the m100 may be ugly but it easily beats the m155 in sound quality.

Very skinny app.. The app is bereft of anything useful. How about a battery level indicator of your headset ?

5200 Seies. Will not answer calls hands free on an iPhone. Announcements are loud. Dominants the audio from other apps and itself. Seems to be lacking a good QA design audit.

Good app, but resets all your settings with every update. Provides some really useful functionality for your headset, but every single time the app updates your settings reset.

Lost and found. I lost my headset in the house, and used the app to find it, great idea!!!

Fantastic companion app Voyager 5200. It gives a battery indication in Hours and minutes, can locate a misplaced headset, allows you to toggle just about every feature and set diff tones for things, and has an easy one step firmware update. I use the voyager for everything having to do with using my phone and is a fantastic Siri interface this app helps you take advantage of your headsets every feature.

BackBeat Fit. It does what is supposed to do brilliantly. I actually lost my headset and didn't even know where it could be. I used the app to find out that's it was at a friends house which was very helpful otherwise I wouldn't even know where to start looking.

Go2. Had this specific setup for five years or so and although it has never been subjected to constant use it has never been passed over or protected from real world use whenever it is called upon. It has not let me down yet and there isn’t much that I rate higher than reliability.

Pointless.. I have the backbeat 2 pro headphones, they are a little too big to lose so the find my headphones is almost useless, I do like having the gps map though. Other than that with my particular set of headphones there is no point to having this app. Unless you have a specific set of headphones you are wasting data downloading this app

Working, yet Updates/Notices needed!. Compared to similar APPS, yes this item does basically work. However, Plantronics IT do need to update their software, together with their hardware + online products. This way, all of the Plantronics ecosystem can keep synchronised. That’s where the larger powerhouses of Apple, Google-Alphabet & MS-Windows are aiming for.

Good for finding headset. I wish it can do more with my headset ie. Change settings, OTA firmware updates, etc but so far I have used it to find my misplaced headset a couple of times and it has been a lifesaver.

No settings show up. Also iwatch no connection. Please fix this ISP 9.3. Do not work. Can’t do the settings and connect with iwatch.

Plt 500. Love them, there light weight and have great sound. Also love the fact if a call come in while listening to music the call can be answered easily, and as soon as u hang up your music starts again.

Voyager5200 connected via BT but app said not connected. App never detected voyager5200. 5200 worked fine but app doesnt. Is it just me having this issue? Giving 1 star.

Doesn’t work. I have the Voyager 3200 bluetooth headset. I can listen to music and make phone calls yet this app only ever says “Not connected” even after selecting the headset from the list in the app. Latest ios and app version. Deleted app and installed multiple times, restarted headset, “forgot” device and reconnected, all good for calls and music so it is connected but the app still says “Not connected”.

Not backwards compatible. Where is the backwards compatibility? I purchased an M70 headset and I can't do anything in the app. The Andriod version for the Galaxy S4 is great. Come on guys, where is the support for the older devices?

APP useless for SAVI 8210. I assumed the app would cover all headsets, but older headsets are not listed - useless!!

BackBeat Sense. This app is fairly lame. Although it may be handy to have an indication of when the headset was last connected to a device, it does little more in terms of functionality. The "find my headset feature" seen somewhat obscure, in that, it tells you where you last used it, but there seems to be something missing. If, perhaps you may have misplaced the headset, every indication on the app suggests the headset will sound out it location. However that's not the case. The app does this weird locating postulation, counting down the seconds, and then nothing. The headset doesn't sound sound out its location. It would be neat if at least you could control the headset from the app. Meh! The app is really irrelevant.

Overhaul Update Needed. This app feels like it was built ten years ago and it has been receiving patches to keep it alive. Needs a complete overhaul to compete with others

Plantronics Bluetooth. The best product and love the navigation system 👍👍 I believe it needs to be promoted as this a great product unfortunately my previous one was stolen no one owned up to it and not found so I recommend planktonic is great for safety reasons and also needed by people in my field and driving I recommend it highly 👍😃

No settings to customise :(. I primarily downloaded this app to customise some settings. The Settings screen is empty though and there’s nothing to set.

Located myPlantronics legend. All I need is for the app to be helpful is locate my lost earpiece – did that easily within 22 seconds. Five Stars!

Good overall.. (5200 owner. Used with BT and iOS mobile) Good overall. Nice to have some options. One thing that is annoying, if I adjust volume up to maximum while on a call, the friendly voice says “volume maximum” loudly - over the top of the call. An option to turn this voice warning off (while on a call) would be great. I often resort to changing volume on my handset to avoid this).

Voyager update 5200 series. There’s no update for my iPhone XR what’s out now l just need to b update for my Bluetooth isn’t working at all which l had brought my earphone last year & now l can’t use them until u hv the new Bluetooth update for this

Love this unit. I tried 6 units (3 wired and 3 wireless: Beats, yrbuds, pump-mini Blue Ant) and this unit is the best for microphone quality (picking up my voice, and background noise) and speaker quality (in phone calls, music and voice audio playback). The "find my headset" feature is excellent too, and the app has a simple tutorial that helps learn the basic functions of volume, playback and multifunction buttons on the side of the unit. A+

No support for supported backbeat go 600. When I purchased my backbeat go 600, I was of the impression that I would have access to the find my headset functionality which is quite helpful when you have 3 daughters whom regularly forget where they left Daddy’s headset. Unfortunately this functionality is completely broken, likely due to the fact that the headset reports a slightly different name than is indicated in the docs. Plantronics support assured me this would be fixed in the next app release, yet here I’ve upgraded and it’s still broken. I’m a big fan of plantronics hardware, having previously had the backbeat go 2 for a number of years. I’m not, however, of this app and the fact that the documents all indicate that my 600 headset is supported whilst the reality is quite the opposite.

Don't bother. The application provides little in the way of functionality other than for specific headsets - there was nothing of use for my Voyager Legend. Even the user manual cannot be easily accessed - usually you will get an error indicating that the network is unavailable. I thought perhaps the "find my headset" function might at least save the app - not available for the Voyager Legend. A disappointing app for a great Bluetooth headset.

How about timely updates. This company is woeful at producing updates on a key accessory. How long and what excuses are there for not supporting iPhone X and XS series display formats after a year of new phones being released or several months after new models are are on the market? Do you your jobs and stop being so tardy.

PLT Hub fan. I have owned a voyager 5200 for a few years,it’s the only type of head set that feels so comfortable and doesn’t make my ear sore. When I they first came out, you had to fit them in a little brace .which was at least 7 years ago, then the charge port changed where you can plug the charger into it . That was the perfect for me because that was the only problem I had , which you guys change . So keep up the great work, I m proud to have one . I still have my first one it doesn’t have the hole at the end where you plug it in lol. I wake up I put my ear piece on my ear ,and the last thing I do is take it off before I go to sleep. Missing important features. Important features, which are missing - (1) Can not change device settings, (2) This App can not update Firmware update. [Unfortunately, even a Windows 10 PC is unable to detect this device when connected by USB 2.0, but it is a separate issue unrelated to this App. But finally, one way or the other, we are unable to change settings, or update Firmware, by this App, or even by computer].

Not working as supposed too. I’m connected to my voyager legend Bluetooth headset, the app says I’m not, also rhe smart sensor are turned off and the headset still routes the call randomly to the phone!!

Yes. Now if I could just find my phone…plantronics/poly engineers please make that happen with this device. I’m constantly wearing my headset, but lay my phone down all the time, then have to scramble to try and find which cushion it’s under. You can make this product better by figuring how we can home in on the phone from the headset device. I’ve suggested this before with customer support…..and must say it would be a competitive advantage for your product

Works fine.. Yes it found my earpiece. The locator is great. But as for the auditory alarm, unless you’re in a perfectly silent environment you will not hear it. I had it sitting in the desk in front of me and I could hardly hear it. Would be nice if it had an external speaker alarm but I realize that’s not possible.

Terrible locating. Unless your within 1 meter of your device you won’t hear it. The backtrack feature would be great if it would keep a last location even after the device battery dies. Unless the device is on, it won’t located the last location. This is really bad because many devices die before found. The backtracker feature has been very inconsistent for me. I have had to purchase a subscription to TILE to be sure of a last known location for my new device because of the poor backtracking. I love the quality about the device and the ease of use of the Voyager 6200. The new one I just got... an over the ear model doesn’t have the great features the 5200 has sadly.

Not connected. I have PLT Legend it’s connected and I’m using it but PLT App says can’t find my headset / I’m not connected tried restarting headset and phone but no change disappointed 🙁

This thing lasts for 7 hours. I fell asleep with it, lost it in the hotel room, used the app to locate it. Happy Camper!!! It’s a must download 100%.

One week past advanced coverage. I am blown away by the service I received by Plantronics. I am having difficulty with my ear piece and have gone over my advanced coverage by one week and they refuse to send me a replacement. One Week! Obviously they are not in the business of customer satisfaction and the representative was quite rude when I was trying to get help troubleshooting the issue. They won’t be getting anymore of my business and I don’t recommend them and won’t to anyone.

Bugged. Can’t find firmware version or how to update. The headset seems to be less buggy without the application. I uninstalled and now the music doesn’t stop on it’s own when I’m on open mike mode.

Does not see backbeat go headphones. The backbeat go app, which controlled my backbeat go 410 NC headphones, has been removed from the App Store. This purports to replace it, but it doesn’t see the device. All it does is take you to an HP “support” site that could hardly be less useful. I did, however, find a document that lists this app as supporting my headphones. A functional app is required to turn and adjust the noise cancelling. Maybe the backbeat go app can be returned to the App Store?

Needs some serious revamping..... - Not detecting V-Legend and functions limited to simple “How To”, defeating the purpose of an app meant to “manage” a “smart device” - Not iOS 12.1.4 capable (Xs owner having a “iOS legacy kind of display” of the app. - Some “Settings” fail with 5200 UC setup; - Good idea otherwise, but needs more creative ideas brought into it, as well as improving the devices features themselves.

Best headset & find app. Best headset I’ve owned for other people to understand me and for hearing what they say. The app is great for finding a misplaced headset. It’s “best“ if it was left on. However even turned off and out of range it showed on a map where it last was in range, which helped me backtrack to several retail stores the day before and find it.

Love the headset_HATE THE FIND ME FEATURE. The sounds that you have on apps to find my headset are muted and can barely be heard when your right next to the headset... It doesnt help you find the headset unless you are holding it in your hand bc you cannot hear the tones at all... Very disappointed and feel disenchanted in this feature 100%

Meh. The headset is amazing, but not so much for the app. I downloaded the app so that I could disable audio streaming when I’m in my tow truck. The app instructs you to go to “Settings” on the app’s home page, but there is no “Settings” menu or option anywhere on the app. Also can’t use “Find My Headset.” Apparently, the iOS version of this app doesn’t function with certain models, including my Legend. This doesn’t really make sense, since all models are in the device menu, and they all function with the same Bluetooth technology. Very disappointing.

Mostly Great. Would have given five stars if I could find it with the headset off or if it would show a location. I lost mine in the house and couldn’t find it because I had turned it off. Other than that, I love it. We have purchased this brand multiple times due to its’ durability and ease of use.

Recommend to anyone. Definitely a plantronics fan. And will recommend to anyone. Love the feature to be able to send a signal to find it. Also love the location and history. Almost lost it completely yesterday. The history log and location led right to it.

Great app but there are some bugs. Sometimes when I connect and test my headset for work everything checks out but then I realize I’m not hearing my phone ring. For some reason it doesn’t always ring when I have an incoming call and I don’t know why. It causes me to have roll overs and where I work that’s a no no.

Outstanding App. Works perfectly.. After I purchased the Voyager 5200, I then downloaded this free app from Plantronics to monitor my new model Voyager. It is a very helpful assert, especially when a new firmware upgrade becomes available. It tells me that, then makes it easy to perform the upgrade. Great App.

If it’s lost,, it’s gonna stay lost. Find my blue tooth is a waste of time and your only kidding yourself. If I could hear the tone it sends, I wouldn’t even need a Bluetooth bcc I could hear a mouse squeal around the world. The product is okay and I use it a lot but things need to improve a lot. Works 90% of the time. For the most part, this is one of the better Bluetooth devices I have found. Works well with the cell and my work app of RingCentral. Usually I lose communication not sure why that happens but I turn it off and back on. Seems to fix the problem, I would recommend it.

Great headset and app. Great headset for any application. I use at work and when I’m off. It took a little time getting use to it, but absolutely love it now. I recommend taking your time to figure it out completely. Try different ear pieces, try different volume levels, and take time to fully explore the app. Overall awesome headset.

Lost mode is amazing. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I lose my Bluetooth or misplace it often. Having the gps mode of finding it has saved me from having to buy a new Bluetooth twice already. Never had a Bluetooth with this amount of support. Absolutely amazing

Find MyHeadset Needs Improvement. My Voyager 5200 is excellent and I like the app, but the biggest reason to have the apps is the Find MyHeadset feature. This feature only works if you keep your headset powered on at all times, which I don’t. It would be great if the app would register the device to it and store the last location where the headset was turned on.

Lost and found!. This is an INCREDIBLE feature-being able to page it when ‘lost’. My only wish is for there to be a way to page it when it’s “off” like a back up battery only used for this reason. Thankfully I hadn’t turned mine off and it was still on-so I could page it successfully. Thank you!!!

Where did I leave my headpiece?. Gps is a little off shows up on the other side of the street but still a cool feature. I misplaced my old ones all the time. The only thing obnoxious for me is that it needs the app to run. Other than that it works pretty well.

Recently stopped recognizing my 5200 connections. It has been reliable for years but recently stopped working. I have uninstalled several times but still does not see that my headset is connected. Under iOS 13.5.1. In privacy settings, the app does not show up in apps that are allowed to use Bluetooth. Maybe that’s the problem.

Lost headset. What a awesome feature/application (find lost headset)... freaking out this evening after thinking I lost my headset, I grabbed my phone and found out that it has this “lost headset feature”... I turned it on and 45 seconds later it was found with the real loud “beeping sound”...!!!

Love It!. I had a Plantronics Bluetooth before but never turned on the find device feature. Once I left the device somewhere and couldn’t find it, I promised myself not to make the same mistake. Sure enough, I’ve misplaced the new device too, but found it immediately!

More money, less features.. I’ve had three of the Legends and liked them a lot. Thought I’d try the 5200. Not as many features and the external charging doc is iffy, at best. I have it linked to my Tile app and, even with the 5200 turned off, Tile can send a location tone so I can hear it. Not so with the Hub. The earpiece has to be on to locate it and send a tone. What’s up with that?

This app doesn’t do anything. This app has no useful functionality. It can detect my headset, only to tell me it’s disconnected. There’s no option to connect it. I was hoping to be able to find out which devices it’s connected to via bluetooth and troubleshoot connection issues, but there’s literally nothing you can do with the app other than find your headset on a map if it’s missing.

This is the worst APP try it for yourself. This app serves nothing, why do I state this? 1) if you’ve misplaced your headset, mine being the the 5200 PLT it will not give you a current location IF you do not power it down and power it up again, then it gives you your some what current location. Try it for yourself don't take my word for it. 2) in the event it is lost you better pray real hard that you hear the tone being emitted from the tone selection you’ve picked, MAKE SURE the volume level is turned up to maximum because for some reason it will default back to low. Again try this for yourself. Ive lost 3 headsets already and when paired to this hub when making a call or receiving a call Most if the time it will disconnect from headset and default back to the iphone receiver speaker

Same old Plantronics quality. Have had a device for a few years and the app has always been poor. This first gen Poly version is even worse. The app loads and allows you to create an account but does not remember it. It also does not recognize my Voyager 5200 headset. It gets 2 stars for hope the IT people are able to make it work. Incredible! Love it! Helps greatly!. This app is incredible you miss place it put it in the pocket put it somewhere you’re always able to find it! It is save me over and over I found it in the most obscure places but this app helps find it!

Meh. I don't see much use for the app. The sound that it sends to find the earpiece is not loud enough to hear unless you are inches away and it has to be turned on. If it's lost it's generally turned off. So far mine won't record history so that way of finding it doesn't work so well either. And that idea is sort of like "where did you leave it "! The earpiece itself works fine but the reason I bought this model is for the locating aspect of it.

Game changer. I have been missing my headphones for over a month, didn’t know about the headphone finder feature. Just found headphones the old fashioned way by randomly digging around the house. Just tested this finder feature and it works beautifully. Wish I knew about this, would have saved me a lot of trouble.

Love This App. This find Plantronics Bluetooth is an amazing time saver as I often drop it into the black hole aka a purse! It would be great if the app developers would remove the loud sound warning as it is unnecessary since the Bluetooth is obviously not on, thus why we use the find my headset app. Remove the loud sound warning and I would give 5 stars!

No support for Plantronics BackBeat PRO 5100. The backbeat app i had used was discontinued and no longer available to download. Found this app and that HP bought Plantronics :( alas no support for my headphones and can’t find it in the list of devices. Registered this device and not even an email from HP letting legacy device owners know about the change and their decision to end support, classy move :( Plantronics Hub is useless for iphone. Done with HP and their lack of customer awareness.

The app works perfectly and is super useful. Have misplaced my earpiece more times than I can count. This app has come in so handy!!! Without it I would have likely bought a new Bluetooth earpiece only to have found the old one months while cleaning.

Backbeat fit Headphones 🎧. Plantronics has two apps that make these headphones great! The battery life is up to 9 hours take/listen time and when you lose them...you can Track them with your phone and even send many different very loud "pings" and obnoxious sounds to help locate. Standby time is a long time too!

Obscure much?. Trying to pair the headset to my new iPhone. Eventually found user manual online, only to find the Bluetooth button is super secret on the face of the headset. NOT OBVIOUS ENOUGH FOLKS. Downloaded the app and was required to rate something before I even had the thing active on my phone, lost my place in the process. Also, I suspect you use latex in the formulation of the ear tip and loop. I’m allergic, no wonder it makes my ear hurt after wearing a while. You need to find something else to make these things flexible.

Trouble finding my own nose. I can’t count the number of times I’ve taken my headphones off and put them on my desk or next to the bed or in the car only to not be able to see them. This app has saved me countless hours locating them.

Plantronics. Love the headset, extremely clear and great noise reduction, out going as well as incoming calls. Really like the “find it” feature, just make sure you leave it turned on. Only issue is that it does not fit my ear well, I do have large ears.

Device ok, app does not work if you rename it. I could not to get iOS app to connect to the device on my iphone. After fiddling with it for days I discovered the lack of connectivity is because I had renamed the device to something I would more readily recognize. If you do this, the app won’t recognize the device. Otherwise it works well.

Missing “Settings” button for most models. The app only allows you to change settings on 10 models of headset. There are 28 models listed in the app which have no “Settings” button when you select that headset. Poly support seems to be unaware of this, blaming Apple for having odd standards. My Voyager Legend, a model currently being sold, is not supported. Poly support told me I need to adjust settings (turn off sensors). They said this can only be done via the app, but in fact, the app does not work. (Poly’s Mac software is broken by a memory leak more than two years old, so that’s not an option.) Also, why all the reviews about headsets? This is an app, not a headset. It’s not helpful to have to wade through headset reviews to find out how the app works.

It works. Love the ear price. The app works, however, it could have the option to check the device to make sure all the functionality is working properly, that would get it 5 stars.

Bless. Honestly considering the price of the headphones, I'm overjoyed that there's a backtrack option to find your buds. I'm very forgetful, and once lost my phone in a fast food parking lot, in the middle of winter, if that says anything. Point being, fantastic headphones, and excellent foresight for having the finding feature. Love it!

Great customer service. I just want to say that they have really great customer service. I had trouble pairing my device on a new phone and called the 800 number, had no wait time, and the agent helped me in less than 5 minutes.

Love the app if it had not been for this app I would have lost my Bluetooth headset into a box which would have been shipped to China if it not been for this app I could not replace it thank you for creating this app thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you five stars thank you keep up the good work

Very good device horrible app. The unit itself for phone calls is very good and hard to beat. In fact I haven’t found one that I like better. However, the app itself is pretty worthless and unless you leave the unit on when you take it out of your ear, the find my device is worthless. So much so that if I find one that will work on or off I will immediately buy it.

Best headset ever!!. I have used this headset for many years and seen it progress through several improvements. It’s amazing and I hope I can always find it. I’m hard on my headsets and use them every day and these are very sturdy, and so very functional

So far. So far it’s ok. I just turned it on to help me pair my headset with my phone. It helped. Now I have set up the “Find my Headset “ option. I like that I can change the “find tone”. That might be helpful if my headset is on and charged when I try to find it. I could probably change my review to a 5-star after I use the app more. We’ll see.

Old app that needs to be updated. The app hasn’t been updated in a year. The layout doesn’t support iPhones with the notch, that came out 4 years ago! Even though my earpiece is connected to my phone the app won’t recognize it which makes it useless. Also, every time I open it, it asks me the same prompts to enable location services, etc even though each time I click on enable.

Barely lost, always found. As a student, I love using this app to help me locate my gadget. I end up finding it every time, with no issue. I’m always loosing my earpiece, and I don’t think that I’d still have mine without this thing. Life saver!! I always am loosing my earpiece, but I always find it with this app! Five stars!!

Great App!. I’ve used Plantronics headsets since I worked in call centers. I have the M165 and the M180. This app is a lifesaver when you can’t find your headset. Once I found it in the bushes next to my apartment! I must have dropped it or it fell out of my ear. I found it sitting on a leaf in a shrub.

Great device. While not as light as some other device, the clarity is terrific and the charge lasts a long time. I bought an extra charging case so I have one at home and one in the office.

Can’t imagine a better headset!. Super comfortable, lightweight, durable and good sound. App is a huge plus with the find headset feature (saved me a few times) and the ability to switch seamlessly between devices (ie from iPhone to iPad) with just the press of a button. If it ever breaks, I will absolutely replace with another one.
