Incredible!. I don't think I've ever enjoyed radio this much! Great music, DJ's, news, no crap commercials or gimmicks... This is how radio should be done! Awesome!

A warning would have been nice.. I used to love this app, but am bummed that you look away the tracks I love option. I had a sweet list going and poof, it’s gone. Why use this app now when I can trust ol’ reliable Shazam. Booo triple j. Booooooooo.....

Great Music Station. App is fickle. Whilst it is always a pleasure to hear Triplej, no matter where you are. The app can routinely drop out and you need to open the app again for it to re-commence.

Love Triple J. I have always lived Triple J for their music and morning shows. A great way to ride the bus to work every day. Lately though it has been crashing a lot and do I haven't been able to listen. Is there a fix coming??

Massive Improvement!. This app has gotten so much better since the 2.0 release, which I found to be lacking. Every feature I missed from 1.x is back and has been improved. I live in Cleveland and triple j is the only music radio I listen to... thank you so much for making it so easy to enjoy it from the other side of the world! Original Review: As a long time triple j listener, it really bums me out to leave a less than glowing review for this app. I was pretty excited when the triple j app first became available. It’s been great for accessing the live broadcast anywhere with ease. The redesign looks excellent and it’s nice to have access to Double J and Unearthed in the same place. Unfortunately, everything else about the new version is a disappointment. Nearly all of the great features from the previous version have been left out, and without warning. Here’s a short list of some of the features I really miss: - The option to have music start playing upon opening the app is gone. This was very handy for in-car use. - “Tracks I Love” is gone. So is the list of songs I had saved 🙁 - The on-demand content is gone. triple j, I love you and I’ve sent countless people your way over the years, but this new app is a big letdown in my eyes. I wish I could rollback to the old version. I really hope you plan to restore the excellent functionality that’s missing.

I love Australian music, too!. Did two residencies in Australia, and Triple J was my "go-to" source for new music. They always break new bands well before US stations do, often even ahead of NPR & other alternative broadcast sites. Also, love "Like a Version", Matt & Alex, etc. Reminds me of Melbourne and Bendigo! Great ap!

Best Music. As a California girl I love hearing Australia's take on my favorite genres. I'm tired of hearing the same old songs on my radio stations, this gives me lots of new songs to listen to!!! The app seems great, very easy to use, hasn't crashed :)

Love Hate relationship.. Love you guys, love triple j. Only problem with the app is AWST and AEST. Awesome for streaming eastern states time, but annoying as the overlaps change. I'm in WA and have been waiting all week for Ball Park Music live at Lorne, but the app just has Richard Kingsmill tracks playing, even though it's set at Perth 99.3 ☹️. Having to sit in my car and listen instead of socialising streaming it through the app playing on speakers with my mates outside. Maybe give the option of eastern stream or western delay? That would be wicked! Love you guys xo

Love this app. The Triple J app is so good to listen to and so easy just to have it on your iPhone/iPad instead of having to carry a radio around with you everywhere. I would definitely recommend this app for anyone over the age of 12 👍🏼

Can’t listen to old podcasts. I really love triple j. But ever since the app has been updated I can’t seem to listen to old podcasts as I sometimes miss them during the week. I really hope to see the next update bring back where you could listen to any of the podcasts.

No longer plays to HomePods. This latest update has broken the app - can’t play it to my HomePods, when the phone goes to sleep, the music cuts out about 20s later. Does it on my iPad as well. Was working fine 5 days ago. Other radio apps are working fine, just this one.

We all have a beat, that's why music so important. It would be great if we could dig in to save our favourites! Best turns and nifty little app. Though I also miss the old days when Triple J music was less mainstream. Raise a glass for all the incredibly talent musicians they have brought to the station for us.

Love it!. We can't pick up triple j radio station on the wireless, it's one of the things I've missed about moving to a country town. Now I get to listen to it! Thank you!

iTunes. 3 apps in one. I love flicking between jjj, jj and unearthed. If I don’t like something I can flick to something else. I think this app is very clever since it connects to my monthly iTunes subscription providing me access to add songs to my playlists.

Almost back to perfect. On demand is finally back and now the only thing that could make the app even better is if you could download the on demand programs to listen to offline or if the play back position was remembered when the app was closed but for now I’m just so happy it’s back

Great, Handy App!. I love that I can listen to triple j at work without needing to buy an actual radio! I also like that I can listen live rather than the delayed radio cast for my Timezone. Everything works great. I’ve found it can get a bit patchy/stop-start when I listen to it outside of wifi (usually in my car) but that could be due to my cars Bluetooth.

Updated and tracks I love feature GONE!!. Hold off in the update peeps as the new update doesn't automatically play the Js once opened and you have to click on the station to start streaming and the biggest upset and disappointment are the features packed into the old app have all been stripped out. The track listing built up over years of selecting tracks I love in the old app are now gone. So disappointed.

Very buggy. Often freezes and needs to be closed, cleared and opened again to function but audio will still be playing after closing and clearing sometimes.

Great app.. Just wish I could stream catch up shows without wifi. Love the app for streaming radio, looking up songs I just heard etc. Works really well. What frustrates me no end is not being able to stream the catch up shows unless I'm connected to Wifi. All I want to do is stream Short Fast Loud when I'm at work to hear new music that I've missed. I have a massive data allowance, I'm an adult, I know how data streaming eats in to my allowance and I feel I can make this decision. There's also no way to over ride this and say that I want to use data and not Wifi. Please change this!!!

Love it!. What’s not to love? It’s my favourite music on my favourite station accessible from my phone. It allows me to listen through a Bluetooth speaker or my AirPods and works really well. It’s the only way I can listen to Like a Version while travelling to work on the train.

Loving it. Love how I can leave my car when a great song comes on or I’m listening to Hack. I just turn on the app on my phone and continue listening.

Excellent App. Easy to use and being able to add songs to custom apple music playlists make this app really handy and fun for fans of the radio stations (JJJ,JJ,Unearthed). Would be great if they added a few more features from the website like music news and the gig guide.

A great update long overdue. Finally some annoying bugs squashed, speed improvements and tracks updating in the recent track list as soon as they finished playing have been fixed.

Can’t listen with a lockscreen anymore. I used to always be able to listen with my phone locked, or while browsing through other apps. Drains phone battery. Don’t know what’s going on, used to be able to use this app all day. Rather not use it at all anymore.

Where are all the features we love?!. I absolutely love triple J and everything they do, however this new app has removed many features myself and many others use on the daily, mainly the on demand feature as I can catch up with hack after work. Please place these features back in the app.

Great app but. Great app but it would be good if you could put a function that shows the frequency near current position cause it's hard to tune in sometimes

Doesn't remember choice. After a recent update I noticed the JJJ app now keeps defaulting to Triple J, even though I always choose Double J. Please make it like before when it remembered your choice.

Disappointed with update. I’ve been using this app since it’s inception. My fave feature has been the ability to save the ‘tracks I love’ - I use it to look back on when deciding on a new album to purchase & for compiling my shortlist for Hottest 100 voting. I’m gutted that function has been removed without warning, & I’ve now lost my list of tracks from the last 8 months. Boo!!

No program catch up. The app is still missing being able to stream the last weeks programs from a year ago. It was its best feature. Why does the frequency finder not use location. If I am away from home I never have no idea which of the places in the list I am near. It’s pointless.

Version 2. Arrrrrrghhh. I just downloaded v2 and the ability to listen to previous shows has gone!! The new interface looks good but it only streams the three stations live. Please can you give back the previous shows and remove the wifi only limitation. I want to be able to use my data however I wish.

Love this app but issues with being in time with the radio. I’ll be jamming to a song on triple j in the car and I’ll want to continue the song so I put on the triple j app but they aren’t in sync at all

Great way to stay connected to my favourite radio station!. Love being able to listen to Triple J wherever I am and being able to flick between Double J and Unearthed.

Love it. Awesome app, use it daily at work seeing as the radio was taken away (dumb). Only thing I've found is sometimes what plays on the Brisbane station is different from what is playing in the car - and they both say they are on 107.7 Weird!

Was very good but now I wish I could go back to the previous version. Saved favourites all gone. I can handle that but my biggest issue is that audio no longer resumes if you momentarily loose your data connection. Also earpiece or headset button no longer pause/resume audio. Pretty annoying when you’re using the app while exercising.

Suggestion. All round great app. Just wondering if it would be possible to build an alarm feature into the app? Definitely something I would love to see.

Great app but having issues with crashing. Love the app but when trying to run Mix Up replays it crashes every time.

App doesn’t show current song playing. I love that I can listen to all three stations from the one app and it’s super easy to toggle between them but for some reason, the “now playing” only displays the song that’s playing when I first open the app and hit play. It’s doesn’t update the song, artist or cover art...but the audio is unaffected.

Not to impressed. I have been listening to triple j through the app. I missed the name and artist when they announced it so checked the app to see what song it was. It definitely wasn’t the correct song on the app to what I was listening to. Re installed it to see if it was my phone but the song hadn’t changed on the app. Still the wrong song to what was playing.

Pretty good!. I like this app. Should make an iPad version of it! I like that it plays as soon as you open it (though maybe could have an option to turn this off?). Some bugs crop up occasionally.

Good but could be better. Wish it would pick up when I set my frequency that I’m in QLD and not on daylight savings time and play from the same time as the radio in the car. So annoying when been listening in car and jump out to a job and it’s an hour ahead. Really hope it can be updated to fix this.

Greatest radio station ever.. Have been listening to the j’s since the very beginning. Merrick and Russo were probably my favourite but all you lot are doing a great job.

Please Improve Chromecast. I absolutely love the ability to chromecast Triple J to my tv, however, the song or album cover does not change when a new song is playing (for example, the screen stays on the title/album of the song that was playing when you first set up chromecast). If that could be fixed, this app would be a 5/5!!! Love you guys.

Great app. Love the live streaming and song history. Only problem is when switching from wifi to data the app can drop out and needs to be restarted.

Please bring back CarPlay compatibility. Love the triple j app as triple j reception where I live is poor. However, it’s no longer working with Apple CarPlay on either of my car radios (it did up until about a month ago). Please fix.

Aww yeah buddy. I've only used this app to stream radio when an actual radio is not available. Yet to explore its features. But the stream is gooooooood 🤙🏼

Cannot listen to podcasts :(. I love the triple J app and love that I can listen live off my phone where ever I go. But the one thing I use to LOVE about this app was I could go back and listen to all the podcasts from the back and everything else if I missed them. This is why I have given the app a 2 star rating.. please bring the feature back so I can listen to the hack segments and Ben and Liam when I have missed them in the morning!

As far as apps go. Best app on my phone, (not including abc kids, that saves my life), but the only comparison that fits is, it’s way better’er and funner’er than the corona app!

Great.... but. Please look into the apple headphones functionality - volume works but not able to play/pause using the headphone button like it used to

Time difference. “Perth, you’ll never have to listen to breakfast at lunchtime again....” oops.... maybe rewrite that. That’s why you guys get paid the big bucks hahaha

Please bring back "on demand" and saved tracks. I love being able to listen to all 3 stations now but please bring my the list of saved tracks and on demand music. I don't always have good mobile reception so I love to be able to catch up on older shows.

Stops and won’t restart. Loved the old app - listened to it on train on way home - occasionally would drop out due to reception but would always start up again automatically when reception restored - new app stops when this happens and requires unlocking of phone and pressing play - happens multiple times on the trip - very frustrating

Morning show. I didn’t really like sally and Erica that much before they started the morning show but they make my mornings better now and I love Dave his voice is calming :)

Can't determine time zones!. Usual Eastern States centric programmers for this App. It does not recognise West Australian time and plays the AEDT timeline. Very frustrating when you listen from the radio on 99.3 then for instance go for a walk and listen via mobile, then revert back to radio as you are listening to the same playlist all over again. Strange when it has a setting for "Perth". Needs to be fixed.

Update. Just downloaded the new version of the app. Please bring back the change of listening to what I missed while at work. Like the new look

App Update bug. Love the App!!! I stream JJJ all the time. Re most recent app update the app now starts playing as soon as I open the app, even when I unlock my phone screen. It's inconvenient, especially if I don't have my headphones in & it projects throughout the room.

Ausome!. Love this app. I listened to Triple J all the time when I worked in Australia, and there's nothing quite like it back here in Canada. Now I can stream it while I'm working and its like old times.
