Simple app but functional. This app is great. It’s simple functionality but I prefer that. Would recommend for kick counting and being able to view history.

A great tool. I appreciate this app and it has simplified counting my kicks and being able to leave and come back is so convenient.

Good until it asks for a rating. I was using this app for about a week. Then one night it asked me to rate the app and it froze. It didn’t matter that I closed and reopened it several times the rate options- “rate now”, “remind me later” , or “no thanks” stayed on the screen forever. That’s too bad because it was really easy to keep track of baby kicks.

Ad Problem Preventing App from Working. I was really enjoying the app except for one major problem; the ads would pop up right in front of the settings button and the button that enables you to see past kicks. Because of this I couldn’t click on either button, and the ad would not go away. This has prevented me from being able to use the app and I’m incredibly disappointed with this.

Hate the adds, but overall, effective. I hate that if you open a different app and then go back to this one, you have to close out of adds to get back to the kick count. However, overall it is useful. I’ve used it for all of my children.

Easy to use, recent glitch. I’ve used it for about a week, and I’ve enjoyed it. It’s very easy to log kicks and navigate the app. However, I’m being prompted to rate the app, and it’s frozen. I can’t click an option, or click out of the rating menu. I’m hoping doing this will alleviate the issue. Other than this little hiccup, it’s been great!

Does what it advertises. I downloaded the app to keep track of my kick counts. It does that. However I noticed that it has a limited number of sessions for the free version, which is why I gave it 4 stars. But it’s pretty intuitive, and it does what it says it does.

Review. Overall, it’s a great app to track baby movement for the last trimester. Eases your mind because it keeps track within an hour. The only thing I’d like to see improvement on is the advertisements— I have to wait for the app to load further when opening it and click on another button to actually activate it to open.

Does exactly what it says. It’s simple. Just one button to start session and then press the button each time the baby moves. It automatically stops at 10 movements. It’s free and has ads but you can remove the ads for 48 hours by watching an ad and I’m totally ok with that.

Ads. The Ads pop up and prevent you from entering the kicks on time. Every time I try to enter a kick I have to wait for the ads to clear. I am glad the app is free and understand that is due to the ads, but don’t let them block the button to record kicks.

easy, simple & free. This is my first pregnancy and today my OB explained that I needed to count my baby’s kicks. This app has made that task so much easier. It’s very simple to use and I’m thankful for that.

Gets the job done. This app is good for just your basic kick counts. It is annoying because there is an ad where you do setting and menu stuff and cannot move it so you rarely have access.

So Helpful. The automation of logging in the date and the time is so helpful when you’ve got 100 other things on your plate. Very much enjoy this!

Ads ads ads.. They make the ads unbearable. Every time I close and reopen the app there’s a new ad blocking the kick counter. You can watch a video to remove them, but only for 48 hours. I would rather pay .99c like other apps offer to remove them for good. I have three months of this and I’m already annoyed on day 3 of using it. Don’t waste your time 🤷🏼‍♀️

Love this app!. Love this app! It helps so much to relieve anxiety and to determine a babies wake and sleep cycles. After using for about 2 weeks I was able to document my baby’s wake times perfectly.

Really handy despite the ads. This app is really handy despite the adds. I’m using it daily and it’s basically exactly what the docs tell u to do. Counts 10 kicks within 2 hours. Good news is the apps don’t pop up until after you’ve made it to 10 kicks. Good app overall:)

Simple & Easy. This app is great for simply counting kicks! You don’t have to keep up with the time or date or type of movement! It’s so simple you just hit the button each time you feel movement and the app logs everything for you nice and neat and easy to access! I love this app!

Easy to use. Doctor says that I needed to start counting the kicks. At first I was trying to just remember counts and put them in my notes. This app is simple and easy to use. Tracks the kicks, date and time.

The ads drive me crazy but good app!. Would give a 5/5 if the adds didn’t pop up literally every time you go to record a kick. I understand needing ads but maybe not so often or before and after count is finished.

Helps Me Keep Track. My doctor gave me a card to keep track of the kicks but I prefer this app. It's convenient and very easy to use. Highly recommend minus the ads.

I wish that you could go longer than 10 kicks. This is an amazing app for how basic it is but I wish you could count more than 10 kicks or do a session where you you count kicks for a certain amount of time. Other than that, this app has been great for counting my daughter’s movements!

Too many ads. It started off great, I didn’t get an ad. I could leave the app and come back when I felt a kick, but now every time I leave the app I have to wait for an ad. Also, maybe add a widget feature!

Great for Kick Count. Overall, I am very happy with Baby Kicks App. The only think I dislike is that after you reach your 10 kicks it logs it which is great but you’re not able to see the menu bar on the bottom due to the ads that pop up. If you can relocate the main menu to be more accessible that would be awesome!

Design flaws. Works fine for what it is, but the way it's designed ads often pop up and cover all the bottom buttons and you have to completely close and reopen the app to get to them. They need to fix it!

Ads. The app itself is ok, I like that it vibrates when you record a kick but if you exit the app the ADS take over the screen and you have to wait to be able to record the kicks.

Doesn’t Work With Apple Watch. Bottom line up front—don’t purchase. Download ‘Count the Kicks’ instead. I purchased this for use with my Apple Watch, and am very disappointed that it doesn’t work at all. There is another app I found that works with Apple Watch, but it’s too complicated for my liking (it’s called ‘Baby Kicks’...it asks after each kick what type of movement it was. I am under the belief, after some research, that it doesn’t matter what kind of movement it is, the goal is just 10 within two hours and making sure the intensity of the movement is normal for your baby prior to counting the kick). I was looking forward to the simplicity of this app and using my watch to count kicks (for ease of use), and will now have to use my phone in order to do so (today’s type of ‘problem’, I suppose). I’ve actually found that I prefer the ‘Count the Kicks’ app more anyway, and have been using that heavily. (Highly recommend) I looked through many other reviews for this app (after purchasing, silly me), and it appears this has been an issue for a few years now (the app not working on the Apple Watch, which it advertises as being able to be used on). I am (super-cautiously) hopeful they will fix it, and since I’ve already purchased I’ll keep it on my phone. Would love to see it work, the app has potential, but falls flat in the end.

Easy to use. I like that it is simple and easy to use. If I use my phone during a kick session and come back to the app to record a kick I usually have to wait for an advertisement. I don’t mind advertisements because the app is free, but I wish they were not in the middle of a session.

Great App. The first review is so funny. That’s why I’m rating it too! Yes it’s a great app and I enjoy using it. The only problem that occurs is when it prompts me to rate the app and freezes, so I cannot follow the link to rate it or ignore the message, and it won’t go away unless I uninstall and then install again. Lol. Hoping this fixes my problems.

Makes counting easy!. Being a high risk pregnancy, I didn’t want to overlook and skip my kick counts. I’m so glad I found this app to make it an easy part of my daily routine!

Do not buy this app!. I tried using the watch app for counting, but it doesn’t properly sync with the phone app, and now I’ve lost data. My baby is high risk, and counting kicks at the moment is really important, so I won’t be paying for the app, and I will find something more reliable to use. Note that after reading other people’s reviews, this has been a known issue since at least Feb 2018, and the developer has not fixed it!

App Review. The app is easy to use and simple. You can minimize the app and go back to continue logging the baby’s kicks. However the app freezes and prompts you to leave a review and it doesn’t allow you to exit out. I have downloaded and uninstalled the app three times now and it continues to happen. Fix!

App Issue. I’ve had the same issue as other reviewers. Was using the app fine and enjoying it until recently. The app opens with a prompt to review but nothing is clickable and I can’t get past that screen at all to actually start the counter. Please fix ASAP!

Exactly what I needed. Does its job. Just needed it to help keep track of my baby’s movement and that’s what it does. I have zero complaints

Perfect. Really simple and easy to use. My doctor recommended 10 kicks per hour but this does 10 kicks every 2 hours, but that’s the only difference.

Used to love this but not anymore. I used this kick counter for 2 babies born in 2016 and 2019. I’m on my third baby and downloaded it today but it’s not what it used to be. When the app first loads there’s an ad which isn’t so bad because you can hit a button on the top to go straight into using the app. But now while I’m doing the actual counting there’s an ad again like every other kick. Deleted and will be using something else.

It does what it needs to. You are able to track your kick counts and it records the time + let’s you see the history. The ads are kinda annoying but what are you gonna do it’s a free app 🤷🏻‍♀️

Only 50 sessions free?. Where is the disclosure when you download this “free” app that only 50 sessions are free, and then you can’t record any more unless you upgrade? Ridiculous. The developers are clearly relying on you committing enough of your data to the app that you won’t want to switch to something else and will pay the upgrade. Please don’t advertise yourself as a free app - expecting mothers are not an appropriate group to mess with. This data is actually vitally important for us.

Great despite ads. The ads covering the whole screen at launch are invasive, yes, but the product beneath is great. You can track over a 2 hour period with the app in the background while you use other apps. You can see your history clearly.

Terrible.. Lost all data on upgrade!!!! Spams you with ads every use then forces an add every 10 records. Do not recommend this app.

Better than other free apps. I tried 6 different free apps to track baby kicks and this one works best. It hasn't crashed so far, allows for accurate count of kicks and timing and allows to go back one kick, too. I wish sessions did not stop automatically after 2 hrs, that's my only negative point.

Not so much love. My original review was that it was simple and easy to use. However, today I discovered you can only do 50 days worth. Not happy. I've now downloaded a different kick counting app and as there are many other free ones, I would not recommend this one

Baby kicks. Awesome!!!!

Good. The adds at the start every time you open the app are super annoying but the recording and functionality once you’re using it is good. Especially like the feature of being able to export to excel because I’m a data nerd and can make my own charts from it.

Great app. I have been using this app almost every day now that I’m in my third trimester. It’s great to help keep track of baby kicks, it’s also been helpful in recognising when baby is usually active. I like that it keeps a log of all of the kick counts so I can look back for patterns.
