1942 Lives!. Awesome game. Addicting as crack. Reminds me of spending hours at the arcade playing 1942 as a kid, only without the loss of thousands of dollars in quarters.

Just like old times. In the 80's this was THE game at the bar to play!! Love it, just the way I remember it only better with a touch screen instead of the old button and joystick :)

Great Game. Love it. Entertainingly addictive. Would like to see high performance rewarded with extra 'lives' as you go through the game - I don't think that's in there, unless I just haven't done well enough to earn an extra 'life' yet (very possible).

Classic, but needs to be updated. Vintage/retro classic that needs to be updated, with all the iOS updates, to make it more smooth/fast, full screen etc.

Pacific wings. Hi guys I want to give your game a five star rating . Except on my iPhone when I play. my finger covers the plane. I wish that I could put my finger slightly behind the plane when controlling it. The way it is now you cover the plane your trying to fly you can’t see your own plane . Well barely . It would be much more enjoyable to play if I could see plane slightly above my finger. That’s my only complaint about this game. I was a big fan of 1942, the arcade game that this game is like. Please correct this issue. I’m sure I would play it more. And others as well. Great game otherwise. Thanks you. 3 STAR

Fun. This is a fun game. I used too like playing the arcade version and this is pretty close to the original. I would like it even more if there were more weapon upgrades like the original game.

Bad Capcom Clone. This is a bad clone of the classic 1942 arcade game. The controls aren’t very responsive and many times the enemies or power ups will drift off screen.

Good screen scrolling game.. Could use some more ship upgrades rather then maxing out weapons so easy. Otherwise a great time killer.

Needs more control options. The game is good, but could you add more control options? It would be great to be able to tilt the iPad or use arrows to move the plane. Tapping is not that entertaining.

Great! Need more choices. It's a great game, I personally love it, but it would be better if you got to choose your plane. And if each plane had a special ability that would be cool. This was based off a arcade game and it had bombs. Those would be great too.

Blast from the past..... It's a blast from the past...a frustrating game sometimes but kinda fun all the same..

Fun Throwback Game. Reminds me if the arcade game. Was fun then still fun now. Having to move using your finger sometimes blocks enemy shots, otherwise it’s s glitch free experience.

Ad's pop up. The stupid Ad's pop up constantly when I'm playing and covers the entire screen and then I get killed. How can I "Rate" this game if I can't play it? Make the Ad's stop popping up while I'm playing; can't see anything! Very disappointing!

Definitely a challenge!!. Great game! Seeing my six is a challenge, but the game warns you pretty good. Maybe the player can loop in a future version?

Nice little game!. Even though it’s a pretty simple game, it’s very engaging in the later levels. It’s tough but fair, you’ll get better the more you play. I finally beat the game today, it was an excellent diversion during my bathroom breaks the past year :)

Enjoyable and cool new features!. I've had and played this game for a long time now. Since they upgraded it with new weapons and the ability to restart without losses after watching a video, it's even more fun.

Pacific wings. Good game, the only issue for me is the controls. When moving the plane 80% of the time my finger blocks the plane. It's an issue trying to dodge enemy fire.

Classic. Really takes me back .. I use my stylus and it helps with the view..

Good, but could be much better. Need to change up the scenerio at the start so you dont have the same scene occurring all the time...boring! Also, virtually impossible to take out the bomber with only two guns firing. What the heck is that?

arcade fun. Fairly simple game play is easy to play in the begining, but gets more challenging by level 2. With 3 lives you can get some extended time in. Having a high score list lets you keep track of your best scores.

Horrible. It’s pure trash... so slow, horrible graphics and game controls... don’t waste your time on this game.

Fun, but needs more. I'd really love to see more gun upgrades available to keep it interesting. Once you get the third gun its just about seeing how far you can get, which isn't enough of an incentive to keep playing. Especially when you have to start at the beginning again. Maybe have a gun that can shoot behind you too, like the enemies can. Even an extra life bonus and an invincibility bonus or force field would be awesome. Good fun though.

Pacific wings. As a big fan of the original '1942' arcade game I'm more than happy. It's simplified but remains true to the original.

Good, but keeps crashing. Play can be jerky and it crashes mid game. But bring backs those 1942 memories

Uncontrollable. I thought it was bad how your fingers cover up the screen so you can’t see your plane but the latest update seems to “glitch”, I hope it is. So when I move the plane to the right it suddenly ducks off to the left just into the path off a missile. This of course kills you but you can keep your extra cannons if you “watch a short video “. I wouldn’t do the update , but this just means another game deleted.

Not as good as the arcade version. Not as good as the arcade version and annoying because I have fat stubby fingers. Still play it though because it's better than Angry Birds and Pokemon.

bringing back the great bombing of darwin. the game did bring a memory of my great grand father who was killed in a bombing raid at germany as well as darwin but it was in world war IIbut when i played the game it was a giant air battle when you get a pow it doubles your shooting it is a 5/5

Worth downloading. Very reminiscent of the arcade title "1942." Smooth gameplay; few complaints. The game gets really difficult at level 4. Wish I could win an extra life by shooting the power-up (as in the old arcade version).

Only one flaw!!. My only negative thing to say is how you have to start from the beginning when your 3 lives are gone. You should be able to start from the level you complete. But still a pretty cool game. Addictive!!
