NRL info is accurate.. I love the fact of being overseas and to be able to get the NRL news from an accurate source that’s updated that seems to be live with the team lists, stats and all the other pertinent info. I find it hard to get betting stats and tips. Clear easy access would be nice. Can’t bet from overseas but we can still be in local Tipping comps. Thank you Gonna go to go to three

Can’t login. Not sure if anyone else has issues though I am unable to login with the app. Have iPhone 11 latest software, current nrl app and after prompting for login it takes me to a blank screen. I can login from google webpage to the nrl with no issue Other apps on my phone work without any issue except the nrl fantasy app

Put the for and against back in the ladder. Why remove the two individual columns showing points +\-? It’s great showing the net points differential but I want to see at a glance the points for and points against as well. The new look ahead to future rounds is also terrible. You should be able to scroll up/down left/right through menus instead of having to click and select from a drop down menu. The only positive improvement I can see is the stats page

Best Way To Get The News For NRL!. I personally love this app the new update is great and it is so easy to use you can view the ladder and the draw at any time! You can look at the team lists, judiciary, and more! I definitely recommend I see a lot of bad requests and I do not .agree I love this app! The only thing I would request is a search bar I can’t search for what I want.... well at least I haven’t found a search bar yet so if there is one I request to make it more accessible and easy to find! Can’t see scores after update. After doing an app update I am unable to see the scores properly.. it’s like it can’t fit all the information on to my iPhone screen… and also now all the betting odds are even bigger.. sort it out NRL.

PUT BACK WHAT WAS REMOVED. Majority of the statistics are still gone you can individually select players or teams to get more in-depth info like you used to be able to do for example if I go to the ladder on the old version and click on a team the whole team page comes up with the statistics for the 2023 season the heat maps and ladder tracker you can then swipe right to see the full top 30 team list ALL PLAYERS HAD THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION PAGE WITH THEIR STATS FOR THE SEASON TIED TO IT How do you break something that wasn't broken

Please stop forcing the NRLW on us!. Seriously, I feel like the woman have cried loud enough and now to keep them happy we have to 'accept' the NRLW because of equality. It's not feminine! We don't want to watch woman tackle eachother. I love this app, but please don't parade the NRLW across the Home page as though they are equal with the NRL. Because reality is, they're not. In many ways woman exceed men and I am so grateful for them, but are we seriously teaching our kids to forget what's feminine and what's masculine. It's a bit of a joke...

More information would make it better. Players from Intrust super cup Canterbury cup and under 20s we need see more information and stats about the players! With it updated weekly! Same about the NRL! Be good to know where they’re from and junior clubs who they played for multiple times I’ve had to Google the players! When you follow NRL Club first grade side we need to know more information of players how’s the reserve grade side and under 20s future of the Club and the game!!! Would like to see more information about clubs as well history of the game and history about ex players! Few Examples Most appearances for the club Most tries for the club Lifetime members in all honestly you can see more information about a 5 grade side on MyCricket then this app and the players on this app are professional footballers

Loss of tips. I found after putting my round 1 tips my tips seemed to have disappeared which I only discovered half way through the round. Round 2, I already had to do the my tips a second time over because my choices disappeared. Would be good to see a saved button to push. Even though this has happened I still rate your app highy.

Video’s Freeze.. 70% of the videos freeze upon trying to load them. This happens on my wireless connection at home and also on my mobile data. This is ongoing over the last two weeks or so not sure if anyone else is having the same issues but I certainly am. It is not an Internet thing and it’s not a mobile data thing because some videos work but 70% of them won’t they just freeze upon starting. Using iPhone 11 XS should have no problem with compatibilities to the app but like I said not getting to watch the videos on the NRL app.

Spoilers have been added. What a dumb decision. They changed the app so that scores are visible on the draw page as soon as they are available. You can no longer watch the highlights of a match without seeing the score first. Previously, scores were hidden during a round so that people could choose when they saw them. I assume this is an oversight but really, the developers should have known better and the nrl shouldn’t have signed off on this.

Never remembers settings. The app would be ok, but it can’t save my settings. I keep trying to set it to light theme but it always opens in dark, making it hard to read. Then I customise what information I want to see on the ladder, which would be a great feature if it worked. Unfortunately, every time I close the app everything gets reset to default settings. I tried resetting and re installing app. Kind of bloats my ladder with useless information in dark mode so I can’t even read it. Shame cause it looked like it could’ve been a good alternative to league live

Good but frustrating. It’s getting better but I still find the video player clunky. At the moment and ad will play at the beginning and then the sound starts with no vision. I have to play around with scrubbing to fix it and i miss the first ten seconds as it will only scrub to 10 secs and not 0 seconds. it would be great to have a 15 sec rewind and forward button like a lot of other video players do.

Useless since update. There was nothing wrong with the app previously, why on earth did they try to overhaul it with tjis new update? The app has become completely useless since the new update. Opening app says update is required to use but pressing the update now button does nothing, it just keeps going back to the “update now” screen over and over. No way to check scores and team updates now. Have deleted and reinstalled app and still no luck. Way to ruin a perfectly fine app.

Worse than last year, better than nothing.. The layout is a significant step back from last year where it was much more intuitive and easier to scan at a glance. The Telstra/LivePass button constantly crashes the app or simply doesn’t respond. I’m glad the app exists so mobile users don’t have to go through the website (except to watch all the games, which I hope is fixed soon to allow in-app viewing). I just wish they hadn’t tried to fix what wasn’t broken.

Streaming pauses after 15 minutes and never recovers, which then requires shutting down and restarting the app to get the video to start playing again. It's a shame as the previous version performed flawlessly.

NRL Live Pass feature not working. I used the 2017 version of this app a lot last year and really enjoyed being able to access live NRL games on my iPad when away from home. Unfortunately the 2018 version is a disaster and I have now deleted the app out of sheer annoyance and frustration. I have a Telstra mobile broadband account which the app recognises but when I try to link it to my NRL Live Pass account all I get is an error message and “ “Try Again Later” which I’ve been doing for three weeks without success. The CrowdSupport so called “Help” is also useless because there is nobody to reply except other unfortunate customers who are having similar problems.

New update not user friendly. The new update in May 2023 is not user friendly. Hard to navigate, cannot just click on the teams and see all the stats, draw, latest or players anymore. Even in the draw section you can’t just easily swipe across and see the next few rounds you now have to do so much unnecessary clicking to find anything. The old update was straight to the point, easy to navigate and simple.

I love the stuff the app offers but there’s one glitch I’m facing constantly. For some reason all the fixtures show the current time and date, for example for this week’s round every single game says it is on today at 7:38 (the current time I’m writing this) I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and signing in and out and it’s very frustrating because that’s the main feature I use the app for.

NRL on top. I really liked this app because if you were out somewhere you could easily just go onto the app and see what the score was see the highlights see who scored the tries in and you could always see the drawers for the round and I just really liked that so I recommend this app to everyone

Why no support for TV playback!!!!. This is the biggest joke going around! Our national sport not being free to air on all games, then you clowns have the hide to charge and make us watch it through a mobile device!!! First of all who the hell watches on their own? I have my whole family trying to get a corner of the iPod because you jokers won’t let us screen share to the tv or make a smart ready app for the TV!!! I turn the games off after 10mins because the experience is terrible. Subscription goooooooone!!! Way to many chances!

Video needs fixing.. 1. I can’t see the score when I watch the highlights on my iphone 14 The picture is too wide, this came with the last update, fix it. 2. When watching highlights for the week, the videos should auto go from latest to earliest for the round, the following videos come from the previous round for some reason .

Used to be good app but no more.. Bombarded with ads every video you play. If I want to watch a 15 sec highlight I get a ten second ad. After one or two highlights with ads I’m over it and go out of app. Bad coding as when you finish watching video the next one in the queue plays audio even if you’re in a different screen. A couple of years ago this was a good intuitive app without being bombarded with ads. Now it’s neither intuitive or good.

Gud. Works really, consistent with minis and bites, though sometimes, not due to network it can become an irritation when it glitches randomly. Great quality abd so many sports to watch to keep yourself entertained. Personally I watch NRL but for someone really engaged with multiple sports it great.

Too many adds!. Every video has a 15sec add which is usually the same add every time. And if the video plays up (black screen mostly) you have to watch the same add again just to watch the clip that’s only 1:30 max. NRL app could have adds playing in the background or at least when a video clip is longer than 2min sometimes the add is longer than the clip which is frustrating. Audio issues with the app happens frequently as well, where the same clip plays over each other than you have to close the app down re open start the clip and wait for the all annoying adds which I don’t watch just put the phone down until they are done. Rubbish app!!

Bring back a ladder with full stats. Please put Points For, points Against, win loss record and recent games back into the ladder. There is nothing more annoying than when and a supposed “upgrade” takes away basic features. We now have to go to the web app to get this information. Was the new version tested with any real fans as this should have been picked up?

Best way to catch up with NRL. To be honest, at first i was a bit confused as i had never used the app before. Now that Im using it more frequently, I’m starting to get the hang of it and its very easy to use. This app is very easy and convenient. You can see the ladder, teams, highlights and more. I definitely recommend it if your a big footy fan. UP THE PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopeless. I’ve had this App for a while and now when I try to watch the football with live pass , I pay $3.99 a week for , it just keeps coming up with error and I delete the app and reinstall but nothing changes I try to report the problem but get no support from Telstra or NRL !! Hopeless

Hopeless. Sound from videos will not go through Bluetooth speakers. Will only get sound from the device speakers only. Once in a video and playing there is no way of getting back to the app main page, have to close the app and reopen. Also once you open a video it keeps playing other videos with no way of stopping them, it’s on auto play but no off button to stop that. Very buggy these days, in fact it’s never been a well functioning app. Very poor form NRL, bottom of the ladder in app world.

Not happy with some of the changes. The ladder only shows points differential. It used to show points for, points against and the differential. I think most supporters like to track their teams progress in these areas. When viewing the player stats, the left margin with the player’s name needs to be fixed so when you scroll across you can see the stats against the player’s name.

The way as I understand the future for Rugby League from when technology came into it.. No doubt about how we live with the big picture of the game, is to give us the ins and outs of the game I played just like the Dads of the past the changes of the past to know and the future we should watch the game, I still like watching the Rugby League from local level RL to NRL. Videos won’t full screen. The new app version has a nice look however once again this is not TESTED properly before release. iPhone 6s+ latest update I cannot view the highlights of game preview in full screen you would think I would be able to work it out I’m a technician both of the buttons to change view don’t fullscreen- one minimises the video to tiny size the other zooms the picture in? Rotating my device to horizontal without orientation lock on does not make full screen either? Guys come on please test this stuff this is scrappy work from dev team

Watch app flakey. Official NRL app is the best option to keep up to date. The other 3rd party NRL apps that used to be a good option are now just overrun with ads. Only issue with the NRL app is the Watch app. Why does it default back to a random game from earlier in season when no games in progress? I’ve reinstalled and having same problem.

Choices. Reasonably good app; maybe a little tweak for next year, allow people to select the ground that they want to follow. I work at various venues and this would be helpful; as it is now, I have to select a club or clubs to follow, which means I get their away games as well. Also the venue says TBC, why does this not update in the calandar when it is known. You can add it? (again!) then you have the same game in the calendar more than once, and then you can’t delete what you don’t need. Just saying !!!

Not the best experience. The app is constantly signing me out and I have to verify every time I try to open it. I’ve researched to see if it’s a fix or whether the app has been updated with no answer. I’ve been trying to watch the NRL 9’s tonight with the app. I watched approximately 5 games with no dramas and then it completely stopped with a “can’t load video” pop up. I tried on my iPad and phone to use the app. I am a Telstra customer so I tried internet and data free avenues. I’ve exhausted all ways I can try and fix the problem myself including, ensuring the latest version updated, internet testing, checking the forum for other users experiencing the same thing and I’m not the only one. Hopefully someone listens to some of the shortfalls of this app and can turn it around.

New App is Horrible. This new app/update is so bad, did you even check it works?? Not to mention so many features have been taken away. In a summary for upcoming games, it used to show 3 previous games, I always thought 5 games would be better - but no, it got reduced to 2 games AND the results for those are always incorrect! Like at least if you’re going to show previous results, show the correct score/winner.🥴 The player stats are also soooo hard to navigate through, this needs to be changed badly and honestly same with flicking through the rounds in the draw. Fix the app please.

Too many ads. Have used this app for as long as I can remember but the fact that a video can’t be watched without an ad at the start now has ruined the app. These ads cause plenty of playback issues where the video will start playing but then the ad plays along with the video audio. Normally have to quit out of app completely to try watch video again and sometimes may have to do this more than once. Was once a good app but now far too much time is wasted having to sit through ads

NRL Pickem free competition. Have tried about a dozen times to sign into this Pickem comp. Will not let me create an account. Very frustrating. I really enjoyed this competition last year. Looks like I will miss ou this time. Have given up trying. Rang the customer service number, no help! Very disappointed.

Massive improvements. Love the new improvements with the APP. The layout when going through a game preview. Plenty of stats and highlights easy to access and also when watching highlights from a game being able to watch full screen when tilting the phone sideways. Love it team. Great job.

No Hide Spoilers Feature. This is a huge problem. Would frequently check the current round for lineup etc. for the week (when I haven’t caught up on all the games yet). Worst thing is accidentally seeing the score of a game you still wanted to watch on replay because you open the NRL app. Please add the *no spoilers* option back into the app. This is the most critical flaw / issue in the newest app update in my opinion. Happy to rate again once this is (hopefully) fixed :)

Create two app sites - Men and Women. This site is too crowded and can take a while to open up even with a fast internet. What the NRL Governing body should consider is a separate site for the women's league more so as it continues to grow. The advantages of having separate NRL apps for men and women is quicker access to your intentions and more importantly is the opportunity to develop a greater and more inclusive generation of income. For instance a separate app site for women would provide the perception that income generated would benefit solely the women's league and allow it to grow in value that in turn would support a more generous salary cap. It would unclutter the men's app site and provide easier scrolling to find what interests you. That same advantage would apply to the women's app site and allow for a greater viewing scope. The NRL should really seriously consider this suggestion if it it hasn't already more so when considering a future expansion.

New Update Fails To Deliver. My family and I used to love this app. It gave us everything we needed about the nrl in an organised fashion and in a way that we could make sense of what we were reading. However, the latest update has completely ruined the app. The information and articles are near impossible to find and the ladder is very hard to read. Not only this, but you can no longer access player stats by clicking on them nor the teams season stats. A review of this app is needed urgently; please fix it back to the way it was!

BEST WAY TO STAY NRL UPDATED. this app is phenomenal - it allows me to get all the NRL updates and notifies me on all the relevant NRL news effectively. allows me to stay updated on both the NRL and NRLW ladders as well as during origin season being able to keep up with the scores from the games. 10/10 experience - would recommend

Why does this app run in the background?. Just deleted this app as it is showing up too often using battery in the background when background processing is turned off! It has no business doing that... I don’t use it for watching the footy so goodbye NRL App. Will use League Live going forward!

Scores revealed after update. Why would you remove the option to hide scores? We live in a world where we don’t all watch games live, so having the scores auto revealed after the latest update was incredibly annoying! And there no instructions to turn it back on, which suggests that feature has been removed. I only ever used the app originally to watch the games, but now that’s through Kayo, no point in this app.

went from average to bad with the inclusion of ads. while the app has always been flakey, not honouring settings at times, with poor play back and a worse ui that barely lets you find what you are after (if i set the app to not tell me scores, then maybe it should not tell me scores because it’s in the title of a video...). that said 2020 it was often getting to the point where i could live with it, but today i loaded it up and there constantly are ads for gambling apps. that’s just garbage, and given there was a live pass membership that costs money or comes with a Telstra account (which is expensive compared to the competition) i’ll be transitioning away from Telstra and the app.

Lack of iPad full screen match viewing is annoying. The app as a whole works well, however, the only reason I use it regularly is to watch matches whilst I’m traveling for work, when I watch the match in “full screen” it barely fills half the screen, the small size of the screen actually makes it hard to watch, it’s easier and better on my iPhone, this needs to be addressed, full screen viewing of the match needs to actually fill an iPad screen.

Updated but still no good. I downloaded the app so my elderly father could watch the games but because we can’t make the screen size any bigger, he has trouble watching the games on the iPhone. What makes it worse is that it doesn't even rotate if the phone is turned on the side so that it makes a bigger screen and I also can not cast it to my tv for him. Why haven’t you fixed these issues in your latest update 4 days ago. Is this your way of pushing us to buy the Kayo app for $25 a month, instead of fixing the issues.

Subscription. I used this app last year as a Telstra subscriber. When attempting to use it again this year using the same method all hell broke loose. I could not access the app using Telstra with the app owners being totally unhelpful. I paid my subscription so as to not loose any more games. I have just now had to update the app and, guess what, my password no longer works. Just starting 2019 season, paid my subscription last week. Went to watch the first game......app wants the updated version to work. App store has no new updates. The app will not work until updated. NRL app has screwed me again. When will it be fixed?

Great app with one minor glitch. If a team has many ins or outs, the app shows all on screen but I can’t seem to get back to the main screen. I’ve had to uninstall the app then reinstall it. Everything else is great, useful and informative. It would be good if there was less betting references or if I could remove them.

Second rate. The same developers that are behind the AFL’s functional, logical app are responsible for this. The inability to simply touch a players name or icon to be taken to their bio is almost unbelievable. The inability to simply swipe or use a drop down box to see a previous years ladder is almost unbelievable. The omission of a simple, basic, modern app must-have of a search function is almost unbelievable. Why would the NRL sign off on this app, surely they did some usage of it prior to its general public release?
