Great App. I really like using this app with my students. It is easy for them to use. They slide the squares down and they hear and see the numbers. This is really important for my students because they are special needs.

One to One correspondance. This app works on 1:1 correspondence in a very concrete way. It is simple, and I believe will work well to give kids a sense of counting actual objects. Nothing fussy here.

Great counting app. This is a good counting app...my three year old really enjoys it.

Great app. My daughter loves it. She's at Montessori school as well where they practice the same methods of learning counting. She plays this app on the way to & from the school. It's a great app to learn counting. Would highly recommend to all parents!

Recording doesnt work. This app is too basic and simple for it to get any positive reviews if it doesn't perform the basic. I liked the concept of this app for it's ability to record voice for numbers. I was hoping to have my wife's voice for my baby to hear... It does not work. This app deserves no stars. I will be asking for the $1 back in principle.

Very Happy!!!!. I love this app!! Hokiemom22 wrote a wrong comment, they must not know that you have to go to the settings and change 1-10 to 1-20... I use this for my just turned three year old and I control how high I want the game to count so I can focus on the number she gets stuck on. I also like how you can change the play mode to different games to keep it interesting. Great job!!! More apps please... ;)

It's good!. I agree with some of the other reviews. It would be nice to have something other than squares but my daughter would just get distracted and not count. She is developmentally delayed, I love the simplicity and the reinforcement is appropriate since I reinforce too. We've only used it a few times, she really likes getting it right!

Marginal. Bought this for my 23 month old who attends Montessori. Was disappointed in its simplicity. There should be a progression of difficulty to encourage the child to continue engaging in the task. Far too easy for my little one.

read some alfie kohn. Perhaps I shouldn't have expected much from an electronic learning game claiming to be Montessori--we sort of guiltily let our preschooler spend minimal time on the ipad knowing her time would be better spent in play and interacting with people and tangible objects--but I definitely didn't expect a program touting itself as Montessori to meet every response with empty praise like "good job!" and "fantastic!" Ugh.

Beware of update - Here is how to fix the bug. The app is awesome but this update has a big bug. Here is how to fix this easily until the next update is ready. 1) Go to the settings page (click on the button in the top right corner) 2) Change the min. value to display from 1 to 3 (i.e. start counting from 3 and not from 1) I am not sure what went wrong but I have been informed that the update should be ready within a week to fix this problem.

Love this app. My 3 year old son loves this app. It's his favorite! In one day he went from being unsure about several numbers to be able to recognize 1-13. Now, he can recognize them all. Highly recommend!!!

Fun. My 2 year old loves it. I have replaced most of the responses to my voice. My princess loves to hear my voice reinforcing.

Simply perfect!. This app is just right for my daughter who is almost 2. She is able to have success without the frusteration of not being able to make it all work. Just counting, just what we wanted it to do. I will be checking all the apps by this developer and am glad we have this app for her to learn to count!

Engaging but lacking a vital Montessori concept. Any young child who is learning to count from 22 months to 3 years loves this app. My one suggestion is I wish when counting the app would reinforce the correct sequence. I have done a lot a research on the montessori method, and have noticed how important the patterns are. All Montessori work encourages the child to go straight across in neat lines that help reinforce reading skills from the youngest age. Even in the work of cleaning a table the child is encouraged to begin in the top left corner and wipe the table slowly moving to the right, then on to the next row or line. It would be nice if this app also encouraged this concept.

easy to use. Very easy for a little one to play the only thing I wish it had pictures and not just the numbers

joyful. This app will be benifical with preschool and some kindergarten student that have not learned one to one coorespondence and learning to count. Thanks for a great app to work with these children.

Dissatisfied. It only goes up to 21; thought it would go up to 100. And it always begins at 1 instead of being able to customize the starting point.

Good for small children. I got this for my 4 year old who has a speech delay to help him add more words to his vocabulary. After getting to the number 10 he was bored and walked away. This would be a great app for small children who are just learning to count.

Great app. My son and I love this app. He has begun counting along with the application. It's easy to maneuver and we also use it to review colors and work on his hand and eye coordination.

Simple objective, well achieved. This is a perfectly simple app that does what it says it does - helps a child learn to count. And, for its price, it does it well. 1:1 correspondence, counting up, counting down, numbers 1-20 or any in between - fully customizable. Yes, it's simple. But it doesn't misrepresent itself. Nicely done.

No bells and whistles. Pretty basic. I think counting different things in addition to the squares would hold more interest. Count fruit, shapes, cars, flowers, whatever. Better variety. Good for just starting out.

Perfect!!. Simple. Basic. Perfect. Will be purchasing for my classroom set. Works on number recognition, counting with one to one correspondence and counting backwards.

Classic Montessori. Simplicity is good; that's how children learn to self-correct. This isn't the number one source of entertainment for my child, who has played it from about 2 to now 3 years of age, but it has helped him learn counting and numerals.

Basic Number. Child must choose the correct sequence of the number to continue. My toddler likes this app but gets bored quick. Good quality.

Neat and easy. A nice app for simple counting! Daughter likes to simply touch the items on the screen waiting for her to count out loud as well!!

Good if working 1:1. I like this app. My biggest problem was that my student would press several boxes at once and they all spoke at the same time. Younger kids may have difficulty understanding what is being said. There is also no right to left or left to right standard counting. You can begin anywhere.

Nice app. I like this app to work on counting up and down. I would like to see other images as well as the ability to count by twos and fives. That would be really helpful for my kiddos.

Perfect app. What a wonderful app for my child who is non verbal and autistic. The number items should go more than twenty and maybe until a hundred. And if the shape of the item to be counted can be changed in the setting for other shape like a circle or a triangle. This is a highly recommended app for the neuro typical kids as well.

Love!. My 18 month old loves this app. He counts to three all the time. Just something to pass the time while we're waiting for appointments to start.

Great teaching tool. This app was a quick favorite with my child. The only suggestion I have is that they fix it so your child can only touch and hear one number at a time. My daughter would hit more than one block at a time and get confused when the app says "1" "2" and "3" at the same time.

Very useful for special Ed. This is a really cute app. It's perfect for my 3 year old but it didn't keep her attention very long. I have a student with fine motor difficulties and issues with counting using one-to-one correspondence and this is the perfect app for that. It's simple, they cards are easy to touch, and the feedback is immediate. I'll definitely add this to his daily list of apps to choose from during his fine motor time. I only gave 4 stars because the window of when this app is appropriate for a normally developing child would be pretty small and both of my typically developing children were bored quickly. However, the educational uses in a special Ed setting or an early preschool setting make it a really useful app. My suggestions for next time they create an app would be for them to give more feedback, a clapping sound or a ding instead of a lady's voice. Overall though, good app!

Not working. When we try to start the app it flashes from the homepage screen to a black screen and just stays there. It doesn't do anything. We're really disappointed. Please fix it.

Needs images. I love the idea but counting plain squares over and over is not very engaging. I wish this app had images so kids could build number sense, rather than just numbers. I like Counting Bears better.

Absolutely helpful for learning how to count. Very practical app, definitely helped to improve my kids counting skill.

Learn to count. My son just played this for 20 mins! Teaches counting to 20 adjustable difficulty simple controls usable from very young til they can count! Repetition and progression.

Montessori counting board. This game is too repetitive for all but the youngest children. It counts only block shapes.

Learn to count both up and down.... This game is a simple way of teaching your child to count. It's very repetitive to help children to learn. My 2 year old loves it. He is constantly asking to play the game.

Counting board. Nice but wish they will update the sequence page to show the numerals one they have been correctly touched and are moved to the bottom of the page to reinforce correct numeral order.

? Montessori ?. I can't see why they call this "Montessori".

Check out the various settings. At first glance, I was underwhelmed; I like this company's counting bears better, as they use different objects to count. However, when I explored the settings, I saw that you can require the child to drag the object to the bottom bar, which I think demonstrates what counting is better. I still wish it wasn't just squares, though.

Montessori counting board.. This counting board is simple and easy to use. Children enjoy using it and like the different simple challenges it presents in the different settings. I use it with early intervention and the use is quick and easy to set up.

Not worth it. Wish I could get a refund. This game does not engage kids and there are way better counting games that are more engaging and encouraging.

I wanted an app that was simple and staright to the point without all the silly graphics and all thosethings.
