Baby Shusher White Noise App App Reviews

I love it!. I've wanted the actual Shusher but wanted to give test the app first. It's so effective that I can stick to just the app and save a little money! I just wish they had shush patters too and Bluetooth capability, but still very useful for me and baby girl!!!

Could be better. Though this app is great in terms of soothing baby, it’s disappointing there aren’t different settings. It turns itself off after a certain amount of time, but it would be nice to be able to set this time yourself.

Why is there a timer?!!. The sound is good, relaxing, but one thing I don’t understand: why is there no option to just have it shush until you turn off the app?! Like any white noise app, the sound plays until you shut down the app. This app has multiple options for timer, like 15 mins, an hour etc, but is there no option to just let it run while the app runs? We have it on the 12 hours and the kiddo sleeps better with the shushing sound, and we put it on while starting the bed time routine, so by the time we put him down, it’s already been playing for an hour, and then at 11 hours mark he wakes up. Please add the option to have the sound play while the app is running.

Great alternative to the actual Baby Shusher. Works great for my baby when she is fussy fighting falling asleep. I like that I can still use my phone while it is on, I am usually in the same room as her when she’s napping. I also like the equalizer, it stops every 3 mins and adjusts the volume based on if the baby is crying or not.

I’ll try anything!. COLIC! It’s a dirty five letter word. We are told not to worry that my son will out grow it at three months. Three months of rigid, frantic screaming for 3-4 hours a night, 7 nights a week. I will try anything! Diet changes, 7 different brands of pacifiers, 3 brands of swaddles, rock and play, swing, crib, noise machines.... crazy Shusher app. Alas, this was not our cure or my path back to sanity. So I throw on my gun mufflers, take my Zoloft and move on to the next promised miracle.

Great app but…. Great app. It has saved us so many times over the years but the ad that always shows up when you need the thing on immediately is very annoying.

Note the improvements. Every baby is different, but this app puts my baby to sleep and/or cues that it’s time for bed. I love it! Because it’s under my Apple account, I get to use it on my phone, iPad, and old phone (that I now use just as a Shusher for on the go — when I don’t have my Hatch machine handy). Note the timer had been updated to go up to 12 hours.

Easy app to use. The app is great I just wish it had a live notification timer, I’d like to see how long the shushing has been going, I use it sometimes when I getting the baby to sleep and knowing when the 15mins is up would be great lol

No Bluetooth Capability. I was given the Susher as a gift for my 3rd baby and loved it. We were having some sleep issues with my little one and I was excited to find that there was an app. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Bluetooth which is incredibly disappointing. I cannot leave my phone by my baby, and I really wanted to be able to just pair with the speaker and control the sound that way. Please fix the compatibility issue.

Must Have!. This app is a miracle worker for my fiesty little one! I’ve never been able to soothe her endless I pick her up and rock her. Not only did this app stop her crying in its tracks, but it also puts her right to sleep! When she is fussy and inconsolable this app works it’s magic every time !

Amazing. Works like magic! Our baby is highly sensitive and screams often. We tried a lot of things to calm him down and bought a lot of gadgets. But this app calms him down immediately. He can be in the midst of screaming inconsolably and we turn this on and he stops right away. Very impressed!!!

Lifesaver. I have to say this app is such a lifesaver. It helped my wife and I put our baby girl to rest each time she was irate. My daughter would cry each time we put her in her infant car seat, and i would slide my phone into the cushions and turn the app on, and she would calm down within a few seconds to a short few minutes!! We both recommend this to any parent with newborns- and if you’re not sure how it works, I’d suggest to look into the 4S’s dubbed by Dr Harvey Karp, author of Happiest Baby On The Block.

App doesn’t work any longer. I used this app with my first very colic baby in 2011 but it didn’t help from what I could tell, other than maybe drown out his screams a little. Now trying to use it for my third baby that is just fussy from time to time but it shuts down every time. Useless. There doesn’t appear to be any app updates. I’m assuming they have put their focus on the physical product rather than the app.

App Update. We love our baby susher and the app. However, the recent update was booting me off. I tried deleting and redone loading the app and it works awesome again! Hope that helps some of you other parents with this life saver!

Great! until an update broke it.. 2.2.1 update broke it. It just crashes when you try to start the shushing. Prior to that, loved the app as it doesn’t time out as quickly as their rocket. Update: The app has been fixed and working as it did prior to that update. Even received feedback from developer regarding the issue.

Hate the ads on the app I paid for. I bought the app not the physical product so why all the pop up ads for the physical product. Super annoying when I paid for the app and I have to click the X button to get to the feature I paid for

AMAZING!. Keeps my baby asleep. We’re obsessed with this app! It’s given us a lot of long we’ll rested nights. Way better than the physical product. This can stay on all night if you want, the physical product will only stay on for 30 minutes .

12 hour time out is a game changer. My daughter was not interested in the actual Shusher due to the max 30 minute time out which is why I purchased this app offering 12 hours. Since she can’t bare to be without access to using her phone 24/7 she will use her I-Pad. I use the app to rock my grandson to sleep and feel like it relaxes me too.

Thankful for this app!. I have the handheld shusher and use it in the car and away from home. I have paid for the app twice now (once on my old phone and again on my new phone) and very grateful for it. My 7 month old has used it from the day we came home from the hospital. It calms here and often soothes her right to sleep. I can’t say enough about how well it works BUT when I get a call or anything else on my phone makes a noise, the shusher stops making the noise and does not continue after the other noise (phone call, text message noise, other app...). I have to close the app completely every time, restart the app and then turn it back on. Imagine the frustration when this happens in the middle of her nap or while I’m trying to get her to sleep! I understand that the sound will stop while the other noise occurs, but once it’s over, I should be able to press start again and hear the shusher. Nope! Have to restart app every time. Please fix this problem. I am an iPhoneX user and also used the app on my LGV20 and had the same problem. Thanks so much!

A must have. This app is worth the money. My daughter plays it at bedtime for my grandson, it knocks him out. I’ve been on FaceTime with her and the app was on, it made me start falling to sleep. I purchased the app for myself! Works like a charm! A must have!!

Fine but overpriced and better options out there. At this point there are apps that do the same exact thing for cheaper. The audio quality is bad. It crackles in the speaker. The audio also doesn’t work with a Bluetooth speaker, which is kind of ridiculous. It’s a basic concept that works well sometimes, but this app doesn’t compete with newer ones.

Timer or countdown?. Overall I like the app & it works for my 3 month old. I do however think an added feature could be a timer or countdown since I often wonder how much time is left before it turns off.

Skips & crashes every time.. It’s pretty annoying to have my baby almost asleep and then have this app crash on me. I don’t understand how apps with multiple different sounds will never crash, but this one button app does it almost every time. The “Shhh” sound will skip, and then stop playing completely even though I didn’t press the stop button. I have to delete the app, redownload it, and restart my phone each time. It’s EXTREMELY frustrating, and will guarantee my baby starts crying every time. Unfortunately, my shhh isn’t the right pitch for her and she doesn’t like it as much. I don’t know if this is a way of ensuring people buy your $30 portable machine or what, but you need to get this fixed. This is a PAID app, act like it. I honestly don’t recommend this app.

Amazing!. We have both the machine and the app ad have gotten our money's worth 100x over. We have used with all 3 of our kids and each loves it! I have started gifting either the machine or iTunes gift cards so new moms can do themselves a favor!!!

Must for colic. This helped us get through 3 months of a tough baby with colic and was worth every penny. It helped calm her down and return sanity. She’s 8 months old now so we don’t need it anymore. It feels great to be past needing this and deleting it!

Nags you to buy physical version - uses tons of battery and background activity weirdly. The app randomly nags me to buy the irl device. It’s almost like they realize their physical baby Shusher is unnecessary (also we bought it, due to a flaw in the design breaks super easily if it falls off a counter and makes it unusable. Also I found it using a lot of background activity and battery on my phone, super weird.

Amazing. My baby loves this shusher sound. I was going to purchase the shusher device but read the time is 15 to 30 minutes. My little one uses this as a white noise all night long. I have to keep my phone on a shelf in his room for the entire night. I don’t mind it to much as it allows be to have more peace to myself not looking at my phone when I should be resting as much as possible, but when I have to go back to work and need my alarm on my phone that’s an issue unless I go old school and purchase an alarm clock. Ive tried many other shushing white noise that’s out there and my son only likes this one: thanks creators for the much needed sleep for me and my son!

Can’t play sound through car or any other speaker. For some reason, this app cannot play sound through my car speakers, headphones or anything else, only through my phone speaker which isn’t quite loud enough. I’ve messed with the settings on my phone and tried uninstalling/reinstalling but no luck

Had to delete app and then reinstall. This fixed the crashing issue and now works perfectly

Update causes crash. Updated my iPhone 7 to iOS 10.2.1 and received an alert in the App Store that there was now a more recent version of the app. I updated it according but now every time I go to start the shush noise it crashes. Very disappointed that I spent money on an app I can no longer use! It's a shame because I loved the previous version. If you're reading this review and considering updating... DON'T!

Doesn’t work. The latest version just crashes whenever I hit start. Really disappointing since I desperately need it right now. Please rollback this update. Update: app now works like normal. Thank you for fixing it!

Perfect for newborn photographers. I use this app all the time as I photograph newborns, it instantly calms them and keeps me from having to get all up in their ear shushing them. Moms always ask me what it is and are amazed! I wasn't about to spend the $$ on the actual Shusher, especially since you have to worry about having batteries on hand, or losing it. My phone I wouldn't lose :)

New Update Works Great!. This thing is a baby sleep ninja. I swear by it and recommend to all my new mom friends!! New update works great. Seriously, if you’re on the baby struggle bus - get this app.

Great concept bad App functionality. We use baby shusher every evening to calm our daughter and put her to sleep. I have to say the noise really does wonders but the app functionality is not the best. It crashes all the time, the sound will often stop for no reason and you have to constantly close the application to go back and get the sound to start again. It’s a game of patience when you already have so much going on!

Working great after latest update. Great to have on the go and wherever I need around the house! Working great again after updates.

No Bluetooth!. Yet another disappointing baby white noise app. It’s nice that it will continue to play in the background when you close the screen unlike the last stupid app I purchased. What makes this app a disappointment is that it will only play through the speakers on your phone, so forget about using it with a Bluetooth speaker in your child’s room like an intelligent person would. What I viewed as common sense, clearly isn’t an option for this app.

We play this app all night long. We play it all night long 12 hours. It helps to keep my little one asleep. We use the portable one in the car, stroller and in different parts of the house. Love this invention!!!

If you have a baby, it’s a lifesaver.. We bought the physical product first, and loved it. I bought the app for when we don’t have the physical Shusher with us. At first, it was great. It had some issues with a new update, so I left a poor review. Much to my surprise, they quickly fixed it and responded to my review. Blown away. Thank you.

Would be perfect with one improvement. Worked great, but would be awesome if for the timed feature the shushing volume had a fade out (got quieter over time), because the the stopping is sort of sudden.

Wow. Okay, I'll admit it, I was skeptical about the Baby Shusher. I mean, really? A device that just shushes? But let me tell you, I'm eating my words now. This thing is like a little miracle worker, just like it says on the product itself. My baby went from a screaming banshee to a peaceful angel in minutes. I never knew the power of a simple shush until now. Consider me a believer!

Annoying ad. I love this product. I bought the physical shusher and loved it so much I bought the app as well. And it’s been great. But for months now, whenever you open the app there is a full screen popup promoting the physical version. Such a cheap marketing choice and frustrating every time I open the app.

If it crashes, delete and reinstall. Mine crashed after the update months ago too. On a whim I decided to delete and reinstall the app and now it works properly!

Needs a little bit of work but the sound is a lifesaver. For almost $5 this app shouldn’t be crashing every time I use it. With literally one button “start” “stop” I don’t understand why it crashes. We also have the actual shusher(which I LOVE). If the bugs were fixed it would definitely be a five star app all day!

Worth its price. We learned about the shoosher while in hospital with 3rd child, ITS FANTASTIC! I wish I would have known about this years ago, but happy to have found this app!

4 Month Old -Just Buy the App. I have a 4 month old and I really wish I heard of this much sooner. It hasn’t put my baby to sleep like others (yet) BUT it does calm him down when he gets upset. We were out and about and stretched his patience a little too far and on the way home our bug got upset. I put the Shusher on and he instantly stopped crying. That alone is worth the $5 bucks…or however much money it is now. People complain about how the app will stop working if they receive a call or other notification…all you have to do is put your phone or device on ‘do not disturb’. Presto! No more disturbances. Can’t blame an app for your phone settings. Just sayin’. My advice: Just spend the $5 (or whatever it is now). This app is definitely worth it. Remember, all babies are different and just because it was a miracle worker for one baby, doesn’t mean it’ll work for yours. And if your baby could care less, than you’re only out $5 (or whatever it is now). Just try it. Use an old phone or device you have laying around, that way, you don’t have to give up your main phone. Praying for rest and sleep for you and your baby! Happy sleeping!

Postpartum Doula-approved!. I am a postpartum doula and maternity coach, and I recommend this app to all my clients. Disclaimer: I always remind them to be mindful of the phone’s volume and proximity to the infant’s ears. Do not put the phone next to your infant’s head - baby ear drums are fragile.

Mind blowing amazing. I’m a busy mother of 4, I’m constantly driving my older kids around so unfortunately my new born gets to ride along. As we all know infants get fussy but when I’m driving it’s so hard to get my newborn to stop crying in the backseat. I turn on this app snd with in 60 seconds he is completely calm!!!! This by far is the best $5 I’ve spent!!! Highly would recommend this to any mom on the go!!!! This app is a sanity saver. I read Dr. Karp’s book 9 years ago and used his methods with my second child who REFUSED to sleep, and it was the only thing that eventually calmed her to sleep. Nine years ago this app or the Shusher didn’t exist so my husband and I had to use our own breath to constantly shush her (she still gets sleepy when we shush in her ear). Fast forward to now. I have a 7 week old and I looked into getting the Shusher machine because I knew the 4s worked. However, before I spent the $$ on the actual machine I decided to see if there was an app and lo and behold I found this little miracle. For $5 I have turned an iPod I had lying around into my own Shusher machine. Even better, this one will pause and listen to the baby every 3 min to adjust the volume! It also has a longer timer, and since the baby is in our room it acts as a sound machine for my husband and me as well. We are getting the best nights sleep we have ever gotten with a 7 week old! As an added bonus I can connect my phone to my car’s auxiliary port when he’s fussy in his car seat and play the sound over the speakers! Spend the $5. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic and convenient. I purchased this app as I had heard so much about the Baby Shusher. I was very much a skeptic to start with but after using the app only once and it assisted in my bubs to self settle instead of being held to sleep I am a sold that this product works. I even purchased a shusher to have in the cot at home and have the app for when we are out and about

Not happy. I loved this app and was using it every day... but since the update it will no longer work on my phone or iPad... not impressed!

Fix the app ASAP. Since the update the app doesn’t work. I use to use it regularly with both my kids. Please fix it, it just crashes as soon as you try open the app.

Disappointing waste of $$. What a disappointing waste of $8! The app says it will play consistently for as long as you want but it turns off anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours into playing regardless of how long you ask it to play for. A shame as it would work well for my little one if it did what it said it does! Save your money and get a free one - at least they don't deceive about how long they last.

AWESOMENESS!!!!!. I have an extremely hard baby to settle and I've tried every back breaking thing over the past 4 months to try and settle my baby. THIS works every single time and he falls asleep with this on loud while I'm rocking him in under 2 Minutes!! Fantastic!!!!

Can’t use app with a Bluetooth speaker. I have the original baby Shusher and love it, so I wanted one to take with me everywhere, so I bought the app. I love that the app plays for much longer than the original too, however I don’t want to have to keep an iPhone/iPad in the baby’s room all night. I organised a Bluetooth speaker thinking it’d be a perfect solution, but the app isn’t compatible with Bluetooth speakers. I saw a review complaining about this 4 years ago and still nothing has been done about it. If I could play the app through a Bluetooth speaker I’d definitely give it 5 stars. But for the convenience alone of always having it on my phone I give it 3 stars.

No longer works!. I was using this app and loving it until it just stopped working two months ago. I keep expecting there'll be an app upgrade to fix it, but there hasn't and my patience is wearing thin!

Needs work. I use this app several times a day when putting my little one to sleep. While I find the shusher effective the app often freezes and it irritates me that after spending $8 to purchase the app I am still subject to advertising.

Worked for us. Love this app, really helped to get bubs sleeping in her cot and me walking away. Hasn't frozen for me at all and have no issues with it being only on the phone. The shhhhh can get really loud so the phone can be just in the room not right next to their head.

worth it.. seriously awesome. was able to settle baby in her cot, without picking her up, for the first time in her four months of life! shushes louder and longer than I ever could.

Waste of money. App is terrible. Doesn't send the sound to Bluetooth devices, so you have to keep your phone near your babies head instead.. Obviously less than ideal and pretty much useless. A refund would be great.

Best investment. Best investment ever for my children. Purchased the shusher brand in-store 4 years ago in 2021 for my daughter, unfortunately whilst using it with my son now 2025 it has broken and i can’t seem to fix it😭😭 I have downloaded it on my phone until finances allow me to purchase a new one.

So disappointed. I already have the baby shusher, but wanted something that I could play for longer over night. So so disappointed that this app won't connect to my Bluetooth speaker. A total wast of $7.95. Really poor form from the Baby Shusher company.

Works great. Works great, baby loves it. I use it when she is especially upset and inconsolable. The shusher with some cuddles works a treat. I do HATE that when you start up the app it advertises the baby shusher machine. Yes, I have one now, because it's more portable for anyone in the family to use. Not because it was advertised on the app. I just spend $6.49 on this app, I don't need an up sell. Please get rid of this annoying intro page. Put an option on the regular page if you want, but it's just plain annoying to have to click past it to the actual reason I bought the app.

Paid 8 bucks and have to dodge an ad before use. Solid app but it forces you to click through an ad for another one of their products before you can even start up the 'shush' noise. Given I shelled out 8 bucks for this already I think it's a disgrace that I can't use it as and when I'd like. When you have a screaming baby even a single additional click through is less than ideal. Quit being greedy and give us direct access to an app we've paid good money for

Amazing. I got the free version 1st, kinda thought of it as a joke, who can't shush their own baby, right? My 9 mth old has been very fussy lately, & I play with my iPhone a lot while I'm calming her. The first time I tried this app, I was amazed, she was asleep in minutes rather than the usual 30-50 mins. Tried other similar apps, no good. THIS IS THE 1 that works.

No support, crashes. The app used to be great but I see they haven’t provided updates in over a year and here I am with a paid app that crashes and doesn’t work. DO NOT GET THIS APP.

Sound is fine but app stopped working. Worked for a a few days and and now app closes on opening. Waste of money. And reaching out to developer only takes you to the main website for the Shusher.

Amazing app. Amazing customer service. We have been using this app since 2015 with our 1st daughter and now our second. We use it multiple times per day/night every day/might. It calms our babies right down. And the customer service is amazing...I had feedback in 2015 and they returned my email within the hour. I had more feedback in Jan 2017 and again, prompt quick response and service! Well worth the money. Highly recommend this.

Dreamyland for my baby. I was very impressed with this app, i mean as a parent you want to so everything for your littleone, like getting them asleep but sometimes you run out of breath lol but i tried the free version first and OH MY! I couldnt believe it! So i bought the full version and is of great help on those fussy days. Thanks

Used to work. All it does is crash now. I would've recommended the old version but can only give one star to this version.

More humane than tranqulizer darts. This app saved us from buying a tranquilizer gun to dart our little grunty screamy angel into slumber. Which is good, because I suspect that calibrating the knock-out dosage of tranquilizer serum for an infant is probably tricky.

Excellent option!!. I was as skeptical as a person could be but was also at my wits end and ready to try anything. After 10 minutes she was asleep peacefully in her back which has NEVER happened in the entire eight months of her life.

I can’t believe you have to pay for this. Faulty app. Turns off when a text or call comes in. Sometimes just shuts off on its own for no reason. Sound on iphonex is much higher pitch than the actual baby shusher device. The only good thing is that there is a timer option so you can keep it going all night. The actual shusher product only has up to a 30 min timer which sucks.

Faulty app. Faulty app needs to stop shutting off after a couple mins when I’ve put the timer on for 1 hour

It has a loop. It shushes for a while but then there’s a ten second loop pause which can be detrimental to baby’s nap and parent’s mental health

Help!. Bought this app because of reading all the benefits of shushing a baby but when I went to watch the video of an actual baby being calmed by the app I can longer use the app - I just have a blank screen. I've tried closing and reopening the app but it goes straight to the blank screen HELP!

No longer can change timer while shusher on. The shusher has worked very well. The new update unfortunately does not allow the timer setting to be changed while the shusher is on. This causes the shusher to have to be turned off in order to extend the timer which is not ideal.

Terrible. The old version worked great, after updating all it does is crash and close. Every single time.

DO NOT UPDATE. It’s the first update in 3 years and now anytime I press start the app just crashes. What a waste of money.

Works amazing!. This Shusher is perfect for any newborn! I started using it when our daughter was a month old and soothed her immediately when trying to relax her to sleep. 😀 would recommend it to anyone!

Bright white background is annoying at night. Why not make this a dark app with a black background? I despise turning this on at 2 am and having a bright white light shone into my eyes and allowing the baby to see my face glowing in the dark as I fumble around.

Crashing always!. This app is no longer working on my phone, and many others. For 5 bucks or what ever it was I would expect the one very simple task it was required to do to be consistent.

I want the old version back. This worked awesome for over a year. My blutooth speaker picked it up. Now with the updates it no longer works on blutooth. I was told it’s not compatible, yet it was before the updates. I wish I wouldn’t have updated it!

Kind of buggy. The start/stop button gets out of sync easily. Also, the audio will not go over Bluetooth to an external speaker, which is really what I wanted this app for.

Update is horrible!. We use the app every night for bed and have for a couple years. Since the recent update it shuts down when I push the start button and doesn’t work at all.

Doesn’t work with speaker??!. Somehow whenever I press start the app plays the shush over the phone and not the speaker. It’s not my phone, I can play any other app through the speaker. There is no “play through speaker” option. I wish I hadn’t purchased!

Used to be a great app. Used to be a great app, and saved our lives through the first couple of months but now with the new updates it stopes working after 1 minute. I’ve tried adjusting time but it doesn’t work.

STOP ASKING ME TO BUY PRODUCT. I already have the physical shusher, but after a while it skips. So my phone is the best option but EVERYTIME it asks me to continue to store to buy the physical item!! I just want to use the app. It’s annoying having it pop up when I just want to start the shusher for my crying baby.

Garbage!. This app is a scam! I opened it once and it made a long continuous shush sound. After that from that day forward every time I open the app and hit start it kicks you out of the app. It also continues to prompt you to but the baby shusher product instead.

Glitchy, closes immediately. Used to work fine, now it closes when pushing the start button.

Hate the update. We love the baby shusher but ever since the update, the app closes out all the time. It does go longer that 10 minutes. Not impressed. Don’t change something that didn’t need fixing.

Baby giggles. Did not make my baby go to sleep at all. But I am giving the app 3 stars because it made my 5 month old son crack up laughing. Always love to see him smile and laugh even if it is at 12am.

Frequent glitches. While this app works for helping my little one to fall asleep it frequently glitches and shuts off (timer is set to 12 hours) Now after the app update when you press start the app crashes and won’t work at all. I wouldn’t be upset if I hadn’t paid for it.

“Auto-Volume Adjustment” Bug. Turn off Auto-Volume Adjustment in order to get the app working after the update. This app had been working as expected until a recent update. Since then the app crashes when opening and will not work. I paid for this app so now it’s kind of useless.

Used to be amazing... won’t play now. This app has been a godsend ... however, it just got an update and now is too glitchy to play . When I hit “start” nothing happens & the app just keeps closing. This is upsetting since I bought the physical product & after 2 months that stopped working so I paid for the app and now that stopped working.

Waste. I just bought this app because it had different lengths of time for shushing. It keeps timing out after a minute or so, no matter what timer length I have it set on.

Doesn’t work with Bluetooth speaker 👎. Wish I could get my money back. Have a Bluetooth speaker placed under the crib, so I got this app for that purpose. I would rather have that on than a phone by my baby’s head all night.

NO BLUETOOTH CAPABILITY!. I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why my wireless speaker wasn't shushing. So frustrating I'd rather not leave my phone next to babies. No where in the description does it state no Bluetooth capabilities. $4.99 is a lot for an app that only does one thing and takes your phone hostage. I'm disappointed. I'm a newborn photographer and I need the white noise.

Won’t open anymore. Loved this app when my kids were falling asleep. I denied microphone access and now it won’t open the app anymore. Immediately crashes.

Terrible update. What’s with this update?? The app used to work just fine for me and since the update, it just crashes as soon as I hit start every time. Super irritating to discover at bedtime when I need it to work.

Didn’t work. I tried the baby Shusher for my 1 week old baby and it didn’t work what so ever. She continued to cry and was wide awake. I wasted $5 on this app because I later found out there is a Shusher song in Apple Music.
