Nice radar and watch boxes. Has great graphics in radar and has NWS weather watch boxes so you know whether the bad weather Is coming toward your location. Gives last time the radar was updated. Great storm tracks that give directions of storm cells and their direction.

Incredibly Useful & Accurate. I use this app daily and absolutely love it. I've found it to be extremely accurate, so much that I can use it to decide when to put the top up on the car. This week while my colleagues were searching for the most recent radar image of the hurricane, all I had to do was pull up this app!

Excellent. I studied to be a pilot and learned to read weather maps which are critical for flying small airplanes. Weather is a show-stopper for small planes. This app from NOAA is very accurate and informative; particularly when tracking weather movements over the previous hour. I no longer fly, but I can precisely predict how much time I have to get home before the downpour hits. Ha. This doesn’t have forecast or other info, but it’s great for anticipating incoming imminent weather.

Get it!. Must have! As a flight instructor accuracy and the ability to select different scan angles is a must. This app has it all. Make it simple or technical. Loads quickly and a gas to tinker with. Every aviator should have 2 radar apps. Get this one!!

Crash when checking Canadian cities. If one inadvertently attempts to pull a forecast for a Canadian city, the application does Crash! Since your application is not intended to provide foreign city forecast a bug fix is recommended. Simply return an error message “the application does not provide forecast for non US locations” rather than crash to the desktop

One word. Accurate.. This app is hands-down the best weather app I have ever used. Whether it's following the path of an impending storm in my local area or to check on weather in another state with friends and family near, I have been able to rely on this app to provide clear, concise and accurate weather information. The cost was minimal for the accurate information I need.

Very useful. Does a nice job with radar down to your neighborhood. The other day it said it was raining, i doubted it, went outside. Sure enough it was raining. The stepwise movement of the radar images gives a nice idea of the direction to expect in near future. Well done.

Best Radar out there. On the golf course, where it’s sometimes critical to know if that rainstorm is going to pass anytime soon, my foursome has learned to put their phones away and trust my NOAA Radar - it’s simply more accurate than the others and it’s graphically better as well. Plus, I’d shrink the screen you can see where rain is anywhere in the country which is kind of cool.

My go to weather radar app!. I have been using this app for several years, and it has never let me down. I can look up weather radar wherever any of my family members are throughout the US. This includes being able to track hurricanes for family members who are down in the southern part of the US. Thank you for such a great app! I only gave it four stars, because I am a believer that an improvement can always be made somewhere. One such improvement would be to allow the user to select the color for the head of a dropped pin which indicates a searched-for location. A green pinhead can be difficult to visually distinguish from a nearby rainstorm. However, when the nearby storm activity becomes severe, then a green pinhead might actually provide the better visual color contrast, so being able to adjust the color at any time would be most helpful.

Great App, but now fixed to landscape mode. I have been using this app for a long time, and it has always been great. However the latest release has forced the landscape view on my iPad. I don’t know if that’s a bug or a design decision. Either way portrait mode needs to return. Until such time I can no longer give this five stars.

Top notch weather radar app!. I use this radar app nearly daily to track inbound rain and/or storms. It’s important to see where my location is related to the storm system coverage. It’s always good when you find yourself on the edge of some heavy weather. Tried other apps but I always rely on this one for my visual reports.

Forecasts. Very accurate and up to date weather maps , much better than others I've tried. Even if you have other weather apps I suggest installing this one as a backup , I'm sure you'll find it very dependable.

Love this app!. This app does exactly what it says it will do, and does it better than any other app I've seen. It is easy to use, it provides more types of weather information than most and clearly explains what they are, and the information is always current. My family participates in lots of outdoor activities (horses, hiking, golf, fishing). Bare bones but fast, well worth $. Update after a year of using frequently: I keep trying to find a better weather radar but the fact is that this is still the simplest fastest most reliable free radar app. No fancy gimmicky bells and whistle‘s. Note the file size on this app only six megs! Also note How this app uses very little cellular data which is very important for anyone on a limited data plan.

Useful, accurate, and easy to understand. I check this every time I check the Apple weather app because I want to be able to prepare for the big picture. Since weather is so variable and I work outdoors, it makes more sense to see storm size, strength, and trajectory to make my own preparations. This app provides all the info i need with clear and comprehensible graphics. Love it.

Allen. This is the app I always go to for accurate real time weather conditions. The others are too tedious to use or comprehend, especially when you need such info while traveling across the country. This app is easy to read and very dependable.

Literal life saver. I actually feel guilty that I haven't reviewed this app before considering it is the single best app investment I've ever made. It paid itself off within one hour of purchasing when it helped me decide to leave just in time to NOT die in a terrible storm on the way home from my aunt's house, a three-hour drive away. And then many times over in the months since in similar scenarios. THANK YOU WEATHER APP PEOPLE!

App. Great App,I use it on my boat all the time,Best I have seen. First let me say that the information is right on, I use it for locating sand bars and good bottom for flounder fishing, I also use it for the storms, many of times I would have run back to the ramp if it wasn't for the App, I would def recommend it to any serious fisherman, the details are amazing , Thanks guys for making a great app for the serious fisherman or just the average boat owner, def a 10 out 10 score, Thanks again

Nice and Simple. It does what it says. Nice app. I like being able to check on storm systems occurring at my location, or other locations where friends or family live. The current location function is nice because it pinpoints you through the cover of the rain or clouds. I especially like the hybrid map view. I can actually zoom in to see my place like on google maps. It hasn't frozen on me and I have used it repeatedly all day long during various storm situations. Thumbs up.

This is my preferred Radar app. I like this radar better than the others. It’s clean and simple but accurate. It’s my go to for radar information! And I appreciate the warnings with the expiration time on them. Super helpful during Tornado season.

no help when you need it most. this app is nice when it works but has a tendency to crap out (doesn’t connect to server) when storm conditions are present...IOW, when it’s most needed. i don’t have this problem w other apps so i know it isn’t my device or network. right now there are storms in my area but the app is stuck on images from 2 hrs ago. rebooting & reinstalling the app didn’t help.

Great weather app.... I like the user friendly interface. Never any issues, not loaded with intrusive ads. I downloaded this app years ago... several iPads later... it’s still my go-to for any weather events or just the daily forecast. Thank you!

Great app!. This is my go to app anytime storms are brewing! I live in Texas where big hail and tornadoes seem to happen weekly but most of my family lives in the heart of tornado alley so I use this app a lot! It’s always accurate and seems up to the minute. I love that it shows “warned” areas, what the warning is and when it expires. Helps me keep up with what’s going on around me and family in other states.

You get to see it coming. I love the app and use it just about everyday. In today’s world of exaggerated news including the weather , all I want to do is see the real situation with the information presented without the hype! Put simply , you see the weather in real time without commentary. I analyze what is important to me. What’s not to like?

Most accurate weather radar app. Especially like warnings for flood or storms. An intelligent person can see what is coming their way and plan for outdoor activities. Great app. A must for road trip weather predictions. Worth the small fee I paid.

Go to app for weather. Has helped me for years. Wether deciding to mow, Bbq or just go out it’s been helpful and a must have. Extremely accurate radar and location settings which let me know when it’s time to hide from storms.

Easy to use, reliable information. With a tap of my finger I am able to see the weather in my locality and further through the United States. Color coding of weather conditions makes conditions easy to read. Have used this app for years and it has not disappointed! Highly recommend!

Sweet and Simple. When you want to know when and where that next storm is coming just open Radar US, hit the motion arrow and there it is. I have family in CA and TX and just drag the map to their area and you see what’s going on there. Great App!!

Worth the token price!. This app is perfect for the biker or cruiser turing bike. The display is accurate and fills the iPhone screen for easy discernment of weather WITHOUT the stuff that clutters the screen. Tap screen with one finger here or there changes the desired display easy. Thank you for keeping this powerful app simple to use!

Awesome tool. I use this a number of times a day if we have showers in the area. It is extremely handy. I also have it on my iPad now. I love being able to easily look at a small area to see shower details and then effortlessly to see a multi-state area to get the big picture of storm movement.

Go to radar app for storm chasing. The simple interface and lightning fast updates make this my go to radar app when chasing tornados. There are more advanced ones out there but I find my self going back to this one time and time again!

Super accurate. It may not be as pretty as some of those other radar/weather apps out there. But because I obsess over accurate weather information I have tried dozens of them and this one always comes out on top for radar.

Sorry Tony. I'm finding that this app is a great replacement for the local weather report. My area is rarely discussed or even shown on the local report which focuses usually on Orlando and points east. And I can check the weather radar anytime day or night and decide instantly whether to walk outside or in the gym.

Go to radar app. I have many various weather apps as I spend a considerable amount of time out on the big waters of Lake Superior. This is my "go to" radar app when I need to know what's going on with approaching weather. Also, I'm a real estate broker and spend considerable time way back in the woods of the upper peninsula. Whenever I'm heading into the backwoods, I set this app to the satellite image mode for pinpoint accuracy of my location. This is one of my top 5 apps out of more than 100 on my device to choose from!

Best radar map. This is my go-to app for storm info. You can zoom in or out to see exactly where severe storms are headed and when they will arrive at your location. We get tornadoes in our area and having a good radar source is very important.

Just Works. Amazing app, have tried so many that try to do too much, this app shows with great accuracy the current rain/snow/thunderstorms with an easy to read map. Love it!! Still the best, easy to see info, no junk, refresh is fast...still the best 2020

The app. Works very well and the up grades have been good' I'll go with what is pre-wrote but I and some of the motorcycle fellow's that depend on my direct weather updates to were a storm is and how far it is behind or in front of us is right to the minute and second and the app is right on..we as a group depend on it for safe rides.. Great weather app!!. RadarUS gives you amazingly accurate storm track information wherever you are. Essential for living or traveling in hazardous weather areas. We use it almost daily on our iPhones and iPad and wouldn't want to live without it!

Love this!. I use this app every day and would be lost weather wise without it! It shows exactly where the weather is in my area, what the weather is like and helps me to even know when to take my dog out between the rain drops. Can’t live without it. I like it’s simplicity and accuracy. Would recommend this app!!!!!

Removed feature. Your last update seems to have removed the locations that I had saved so I could quickly go to those to check and it seems that you removed the ability to save locations at all. I travel a lot and I liked the ability to quickly see the radar at home and also check the locations where my children live. I don’t like your app so much now that this feature is gone.

Accurate. I actually like the app better than the NWS radar loop. Location seems to be very close, if not spot on. I also like the fact that it’s usually less than 3-5 minutes old, when opening and updates more often than the NWS.

Radar US is 'jam up.'. Using this app has given me confidence on my watercraft. I get up-to-the-minute looks that provides safety for me and my family. Recently, a line of strong storms threatened river travel, but with Radar US, we never had to leave the water.

Perfect App. This app is great! I used it to check the weeks upcoming weather when I was taking a trip to drive across the states. I was able to see what we would be up against during the next 5 days or so, loved it! Love that you can check the weather anywhere.

Good product.... Really like this app. Crisp display, timely, and focused on just what is needed. Would be nice to be able to select time lapse duration (30 min, 1 hr, etc) in settings. Like that you can step image by image through a loop, something that is still absent from a popular expensive paid radar app.

Ok I get it now!. Radar refreshes every 5-6 minutes. A lot can change in that time during an intense T-storm so I wish this had a manual refresh button. Otherwise, the app is very accurate. I dislike that there's no alert functionality. I do use this often but the improvements I mentioned would put it over-the-top!

Great Radar App. I use this app all the time and it works great. I love that it also shows snow in the radar not just rain. It has many different radar types to choose from. Shows your location as a blue dot so you know if the storm is about to hit you.

II spend a lot of time outdoors, and this App has kept me from getting wet on numerous occasions. I. I use this App daily and prefer it to all my other weather Apps It is especially useful in tracking all of the tornadoes we have-depend on it as to whether or not to take shelter.

Outstanding! Get this app!!. It always works. Always. Accurate and intuitive. Simple to use and understand for anyone. Yet you can lift the hood and make choices (show cloud cover, base reflectivity, cloud tops, etc.) for those who know what they want.

Very useful. I have used this app on a number of occasions. Has kept me from getting soaked several times by seeing there was a break in the rain just a few minutes away so I could plan my departure accordingly.

Great app!. I went thru numerous radar apps and a few dollars looking for the perfect radar app. I wanted something accurate with clarity to the map and zoom capabilities and THIS IS THE APP. You don't see all the junk in the sky only the rain clouds and living in Florida it is nice to be able to move away from the rain when you are out in your boat fishing. I do highly recommend this app.

Was a GREAT app but doesn't do Canada anymore.... Used to be right up to date in southern Ontario but now it shows nothing but temperatures. You could tell exactly when a storm was coming. Now it is just blank.

Not worth the money. I get better radar view from the "weather network" App and the accuweather app. Don't waste your money on this one...

Awesome app..!!. As a motorcyclist and construction worker, I rely on this app on a daily basis to know what kind of weather is coming my way. It has never failed me. It's simple to use and doesn't offer a bunch of options you don't need. It even works in Canadian regions close to the border. Keep up the good work.

Great to have detailed look at weather and decide yourself if it's going to rain. I still used a text based weather forecast app, but this tells a much better story when bad weather is around

Radar Summary. An easy way to see impending weather to your area and its possible severity. No nonsense associated with it. As we live in Canada, I wish they would extend coverage (Toronto is close enough to the US border states that we are included).

Great, but not enough.. Great satellite imagery, but not a great app if you're looking for Radar data that offers a higher resolution, and longer elapsed time than those found on weather station apps; typically 2-3 hours of data. Would like to see radar data from the previous 6-12 hours.

Great App. I've been using this app for several years and have been very happy. Good coverage and I especially like how the precipitation type (snow) is differently colored.

Please Update. This was the very best radar app. Because it has not been updated for a long time, snow and ice are now only visible as green-colored precipitation. If it would be updated, not only would it get five stars from everyone, but also many people would pay for the app.

Remarkable. This is my weather app now. Vivid radar images of atmospheric conditions superimposed on satellite or road map anywhere in the continental US. Zoomable, customizable. Press for forecast in a particular spot. Data appears to be accurate. Good value.

Review. App loads quickly, can be focused to a small area or all of the US, and can actively what is expected in the next 6 hours. Colors are bright and easy to interpret for predicted precipitation. Excellent purchase.

Fast, Reliable, Informative.. This app has a great combination of features and agility. I love that it includes watches and warnings in the maps, local weather forecasts are there at a touch, *and* it loads quickly.

My go-to radar app. This is a great app. The info shown here is very reliable and you can select different views for the kind of weather you want to see.

The Real Time Picture. Provides basic information on weather events without special effects, splashy graphics or frequent reminders to stay tuned. This is my trusty eye on rapidly changing MidWest weather.

Must have go to app for severe weather. This is my go to app for severe weather on my iPad. I believe I check this almost twice or thrice day, especially when I am setting out. A very simple app that works reasonably fast.

Great Radar App. This App is fast and accurate which makes it more useful than its peers. The only drawback that prevents this radar app from getting 5 stars is it is missing the radar-satellite combination view. Other that that it is the best radar app I have used since WU cancelled their Storm App.

What happened to snow and ice?. My spouse and I have been using this app for several years, but last week snow/ice disappeared. We both started having the same problem at the same time, on different ipads.

Accurate and Reliable. Can't tell you how many times I've used this to gauge how much time I had to finish an outdoor chore and head for shelter, or get out and get a chore done before the storm hit. Always accurate in real time. Great tool.

Used to be so much better. This app used to have high res radar and show where it was snowing. Now it does neither of those things. The radar loop is also very short compared to other apps like weather underground and weather channel.

Excellent!. An extremely useful app. Much better at times than the local tv news weather. Particularly in tornado season when the news guys start focusing on the Great Red Spot 100 miles away and ignore local stuff.

Great app, no fluff. This is a great and easy to use radar app. It doesn't bombard you with adds or social media or anything like that, it just displays weather radar. I wish more apps were like this.

App does not show areas of snow and ice. Yep does not seem to be able to display areas of snow and ice despite checking that radar option. I have tried everything. Seems it only will show areas of liquid precipitation.

RadarUS. I've been using it for years. Always reliable and accurate. As good as it gets. Excellent weather app. Great detail and options.

Excellent Graphics. Simple. Click. Zoom or pinch to area you want to see. Excellent, fast color graphics. Easy to interpret, intuitive, non-technical. Use this and NOAA text forecasts, and you need to fancy commercial media.

Sweet. View recent moisture motion over the last hour or the prediction over the next five hours and zoom in and out. It works really well to know what is about to happen.

Go to weather app!. I have used, and discussed many weather programs. This is my current default program. Here in Arizona, USA, even the lightest drizzle is important so I like the sensivity settings

Use this daily. I really like this app. I use it daily, wherever I am in the US. The image is very recent, you can play a loop of the most recent hour to get a feel of precip direction and speed. Zoom in to your location. Very useful.
