What a waste of money. Not educational for kids whatsoever. And what's the point of paying when I have to pay to unlock even more features ? No other apps do this.
My kids love this app, and they learn about the world while they play
My four (and a half) year old knows more about geography than i do from playing this app. When we first started playing it together he needed help with reading the names of all the different countries, cities and landmarks but now he can read them all on his own & he has literally mastered this app he not only recognizes what each country looks like but also knows exactly which continent it belongs to and can locate exactly where it belongs in the map. Love it!
me and my kids love this game.. it really helps grasp the concept behind the continents... could really be improved by showing you each time you have to answer a question which continent that country was from, simply through flashing up its world positioning .. then the visual side of the memory learning of countries would become concrete and improve educational side of this game majorly.. like you can click of Siberia a thousand times but never really have any idea where in the world it is if you didn't go and look.. which kids aren't so inclined to do.. there could even be an incorporated game where you have to keep seeing where the different countries are.. but it's fantastic and is addictive... thanks very much..
Best map game out there
Couldn't believe it when my 4yr old could identify every single island in the pacific and my 6yr old could identify every country in Europe after a week's use. Worth every cent.
Really enjoy learning more and improving my spatial awareness by stacking, but it would be better if the height if the line increased with each level to make it more challenging and engaging.
This game has taught me so much. Thankyou for making it!! I love it. 😍
Great way to learn geography. Fun. Good for whole family. Great for car trips!
Highly recommend this app! I bought this app not really sure if my 8 year old son would play it on his ipod - He plays everyday & is learning many interesting facts about different countries all over the world. My 4 year old son also plays it on my iphone & has surprised me with new things he has learnt. I enjoy it too - money well spent.
Great and educational
I first learned of this app through my savvy 6th grade class several years ago. It has since remained a favorite of my students from year to year, and is also a fav with my grandchildren. I enjoy it, too, and am brushing up on my world geography. There is so much I don't know that I thought I knew. I do have a serious question: why isn't Alaska included as part of North America? It's the 49th and largest state in the U.S. Before its statehood status, it was still part of North America. Its omission on the continent is startling to me, not only as a teacher but as one who lived many years in Alaska. I'm surprised my Alaskan students never commented on this, but I can understand better why they had such a hard time with the concept of their belonging to the United States. They rarely if ever leave their state, and when viewing it on a map, it certainly seems like an entity unto itself. Unless a teacher or parent presents geography regularly to children, it's not usually a subject picked up independently (with exceptions, of course. I know a few youngsters who love to spend hours studying a map.) Please add Alaska to North America in the continent section of "Map It." And Greenland.
This game is super addicting, I've been playing this game since I was like 7 and I'm still a pro at it that I can play it in French and Spanish! Also, Map It? I blow my friends away with that game! This game alone is why I enjoy geography! Fun Challenge: When you get a question right, don't move or rotate it, just drop it, it's pretty fun.
I remembered having this game for four years (7-10) and even today it helped me win the class geo bee. I thought of the tiny faces on the countries, thanks. Amazing game.
My 5 year old has mastered Stack the States, but this one is useless as he can't yet read the question. Please add this functionality. He asked for this one but now cannot play it on his own.
I liked this app at first but since then I have had several issues. Whenever I play one of the mini games or if I just look at my countries, Russia is exceeding the boundaries, and the game won't let me tap Greenland or Russia and see its name and all that. Another thing is that i keep getting the same questions asked over again in the same round. The game also makes it seem like Russia is a fully Asian country, and you wouldn't know that it is half European until you look at it in My Countries. It also seems very biased if you look at the questions. There are only about 3 questions on Russia and China and about 10 on Syria. It is obvious that this game was made by democrats.
My kids love this app! My 5 year old has mastered Asia and South America; however, since she can't read yet, she isn't really learning her countries by name, just shape. It would be great if there was some type of audio that would identify each country (or state, in the Stack the States app).
PLZ ADD VATACAN CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My girls love it and so do I 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Normally, boredom hits my face when I hear 'geography', but one tap in and I was hooked! The countries have little smiling faces! Fiji looked very cute! Anyway, it's a quiz game and "Pokémon" combined! Right now, I just earned Norway! If you or a loved one want to learn world geography, get this! I also would recommend Stack The States, the U.S. counterpart of this. NORWAY!!! Wooooo! 🇳🇴
