Terrific App!. I love this app! I don't know why, but iOS doesn't include holidays on their calendar. I downloaded this app, and chose the holidays I wanted on my calendar. I could even choose Christian holidays, which included many I hadn't thought about, but wanted. All the holidays immediately showed up on my ipad AND iPhone calendars! Awesome. Great job! My only concern is what will happen in 2016. Will I need to buy a new app, or will they just do an update? Terrific app!

Fills in the gaps. This app is plugs a hole in the Apple calendar-- when's Memorial Day, Labor Day, St Patty's day, etc. without having to type them on manually. It's be great to have the 1st day of each season but that is pretty minor. Well worth the $$$.

Good app. I didn't double check for accuracy, but seems to have a great selection of secular and religious holidays. I've been wanting something like this for a couple of years and so far it works well. Worth the price.

Yuck. Better off adding your own holidays instead of some of these that clutter up your calendar

Awesome. Did what it's supposed to, awesome app. It's a shame that we have to pay $.99 for this but it's not the devs fault. In my case, it's googles bad for making US calendars subscription read only.

Yes thank you. I could not get anyone to suggest a calendar to me so I dove in.. After a failed subscribe cal piece of disaster I found this... I am very pleased with the format and ease of doing this app. I did get a request to remove any duplicate dates and it did . I had to follow iCloud settings to adjust a change I made , but found no issues thus far. I cloud can be a challenge to most but I feel blessed to know my apple store helps in every way possible, even with iCloud conflict and issues in resolving. Thanks

Get the holidays you want on your calendar!. I was tired of seeing all sorts of holidays that I don’t celebrate on my Apple US holidays calendar and that aren’t federal holidays. (Don’t know why they’d be on the US calendar if they’re not US federal holidays!?!?) With this app you can select the US holidays you want to show on your calendar and purchase additional calendars of other countries or religions holidays if you’d like those holidays displayed. Solved my problem!!

NO mystery holidays. 1) I like to have the official US federal holidays when feds, doctors, and the banks are closed. I don’t need the holidays from other religions, unless I want to be cautious around Ramadan. I like being able to select which holidays I want.

Do not buy!. Crashes. Renders calendar un-useable. iPad won't sync after i attempted to save holidays. No support. Emails returned un-deliverable. Ridiculous! Glad it was only $.99. But then again, it still makes me angry. I consider this theft! It should be illegal to sell apps without any support or any way for customers to receive refunds. They just take your money and if you have a problem, your out of luck!

Must have!!!. Finally an app that does exactly what I need! I was updating my calendar and was annoyed that the holidays were not included. This seemed like such a basic thing. Well I purchased this app and in seconds it populated my calendar will all the US holidays. I don't have to have one calendar with my appointments and birthdays and another with the holidays. It simply added the the holidays to my calendar...Genius!!!

much better!!!. OK, I am not a "reviewer" HOWEVER.. some put notes that aren't up to date & we should clearify... I just downloaded this app, you cal select what holidays you want.. just like the offer says.. you can go into your calender settings & change the dot color to specify what color you want holidays to be... you can see the name of the holiday next to the dot so you dont need to open the event to see the holiday.. does include a ton oc holidays, when you download the app go to the icon & select what holidays you want to show up on your calender.. this app is GREAT!! I cannot find ANY FAULT with this app & I am just a regular guy with 3 iphones, me, wife & 11 yr old, this is WELL WORHT THE $.99 Great job guys!!

Just what I needed. The one thing I missed on my iPod calendar was the major world holidays that were always on my Filofax. I have Christian relatives, Jewish relatives and family living in Japan. This app was the perfect solution for keeping track of them all!

Does the job. Not sure why all the negative reviews. I’ve used this app for a number of years. It is completely customizable. You can view the holidays you want and not see those you don’t. Also many different different calendars to choose from based on Country, religion, etc. I highly recommend.

Doesn’t only show holidays you want. I selected just the specific holidays I wanted to show in my calendar. Every time I would reload the calendar, it would automatically have reselected to show all holidays. It was a pain and not worth the download.

Don’t bother. I downloaded the app simply to have a calendar of US federal holidays. It’d be nice to have them on my phone and not just in my office I mean, it’s a calendar app right? My bad for thinking it’d be free I’m not paying for info readily available

NOT WHAT IT SEEMS!. At first when I BOUGHT this app, I really thought highly of it, and actually didn’t mind PAYING for the yearly updated version, even though it says no subscription. It’s true, there is no yearly subscription, but you do have to pay a nominal fee for a new year. That aside, what’s really bothering me is, I’m realizing I can no longer eliminate certain holidays I have no interest in. They are all attributed to the US calendar, but are either Islamic or Muslim in nature and CANNOT be deleted!!! They are not even listed on ANY calendar for selection! All other holidays can be, but not these select few! So, guess what?! Gone from my phone folks... Even though I was interested at one point in their observances, losing my right to choose turned me off cold!

Best Calendar :-). I was looking for a US calendar and Islamic calendar as well for a long time till I found this great app ! All in one , just perfect and for just 0.99$ . I Just love it :-)

worth the money. This calendar works great with my i pad. I just select the holidays I want and they were added into my i pad calendar. It does include Mother's day, Father's day and all other holidays that are not on wall calendars. You can remove any holidays you don't want. It also let's you repeat them for the next 2 years without having to redo every year. I enjoy it.

NOT free!!. This app states it is free for 1 calendar. However, the only option available is to purchase it. This is false advertising!

It's Free- I couldn't expect more for the price.. I like the way you can pick and choose the holidays and religious events and add them to your calendar.

Holidays US. Can’t get this app open. It says it needs access to your calendar’s go to privacy settings went to settings privacy calendar that didn’t work. went to the Calendar app on my phone opened up add calendar that didn’t work. Looked on support page useless.

Great App But Election Day wrong. I like this app. It quickly and easily does what it says it will. But you have the 2011 US election day wrong. It is the Tuesday after the first Monday of November, which would be the 8th not the 1st. Otherwise, I really like.

Works Good for Me. I loaded this App and it works exactly as promised. I plan club events and had to be reminded of certain major holidays when long range planning. This App works perfectly, and I can keep or remove holidays as required. All in all, IT WORKS, which was all I was looking for.

If all APPS were this simple!. I have a lot of apps on my devices & with a push of a button it was on both in seconds using iCloud. What I like most of all is I don't have to use a separate app it went directly onto the calendar I use everyday. Yay! No more missed holidays. As a hairdresser we only notice the major ones.

Great. It's app fills a hole in the Apple calendar app, since it does not allow for repeating events that do not fall on the same date every year. Please do not complain about dupes or downgrade this app because of dupes. If you have duplicate entries, it's because you need to resolve issues with your own calendars. In a few minutes, I was able to get this set up with most of the dates that are important to me and no dupes. In fact, if you try to include duplicated dates from more than one of the app's calendars - US holidays and Christian holidays both contain Christmas, for example - it will alert you to the duplication. There are a few things the developers should add such as the dates when the seasons start and moon phases. But those are minor quibbles. It's is a fine app.

Waste of $2. The app gives you a “choice” of US holidays to opt out of but it doesn’t really remove any. And you get “holidays” for all kinds of things that you probably don’t want and can’t remove.

“D Day” has been omitted from this calendar?. Why has “D Day” June 6th been omitted from this calendar?

Simple timesaver. That "little dot" offhandedly referred to by another review is critical when trying to schedule around holidays or remembering important dates (I almost forget "Father's Day" every year). I use my iPhone as an agenda, and it has always taken hours to preset those dates a year at a time. This app is quick and accurate. I am hoping an update will be available for years beyond 2014.

I don't want religious holidays on my calendar!!!. I don't want other people's religious holidays on my calendar!!! How hard is it to offer an option for different religions.

Why didn't I lo for this sooner?. Works with ios5 and iCloud! I have a PC, iPad and iPhone and I see the holidays I selected on all. I never even thought of looking for an app for holidays, I just painstakingly imputed them myself. Took just a couple minutes to install the time was all in deciding wich holidays I wanted. Wish I would have done this 2 years ago when I got my iPhone!

Best source to get holidays into your calendar. I’ve been using this for several years. Sure you can spend hours searching for free online calendars that are usually incomplete and may or may not be there tomorrow. This is quick, easy, and I can customize what I want to pull in. I would like to see a calendar of celestial events, not just midsummer and midwinter.

Need Help to Remove Some Holidays. I like this app and while it’s wonderful to see a bunch of random and unfamiliar holidays, I cannot figure out how to delete unwanted holidays. I really do not care that today is National Blueberry Popover Day, for example. I would really like to remove all holidays except for the US Federal Holidays. The description implies this can be done, but I cannot figure out how to do this. I also could not find any way to contact someone for support other than by writing this review. If someone can tell me how to remove unwanted holidays from my calendar, I would really appreciate the help! Using iPhone and iPad.

Does exactly what it says.. This app does exactly what it says it will do. US holidays were added to my IPad and iPhone very easily. They are created as "all day" events. Multiple choices exist for specific country and religious choices for you to upload. You merely select or deselect the ones you want. Seems to be exactly what I was looking for.

Great!. Easy to use. So far I haven't seen any of the problems I had using Outlook holiday calendars. I run mine through iCloud. I love the ability to edit what days I want to display.

Full access. Why does it need full access to my calendar - to add hundreds of events I don’t want?

Great. Gets the holidays in the calendar, great app. Doesn't require paid subscriptions like some other apps. Gives you more control over which holidays are imported.

Awesome app. This is is amazing it has everything you can think of, I have some German holidays, Christian, and of course the American holidays too! Well worth the money and very easy to apply. You can color coordinate different holidays as long as you make separate calendars. LOVE it!

How about a lunar calendar?. Just what I've been looking for. Suggest adding a lunar calendar (moon phases) to make it perfect!

Yuk!. Since the last update ... Too many duplicates!!!!!

One MAJOR flaw!. The program has all the Holidays, but it marks your Outlook schedule "busy" for the entire day on the holiday. You need to change it manually. If you use Outlook, I'd avoid this app.

Okay App. If you want to remove an item you have to do it for every year. It should have an option to apply the action to every year.

US Holidays 2011. Seriously need an upgrade of the Christian calendar to include Pentecost. Otherwise, terrific. Seamlessly integrated into my iPad calendar.

Where are 2014 & 2015 Holidays?. I only got the 2013 holidays. Beautifully done, no dupes, but where are the rest? Am I missing something? Three stars until I get the rest of my purchase.

No state holidays?. I live in Hawaii and we have a rich history with Kings and Queens. We have state holidays like King Kamehameha Day and Prince Kuhio Day. We even have parades on those holidays and it should be noted in your app. Just my opinion.

Works great. Syncs with icalendar easily and you can choose the holidays you want to show up.

Calendar. Not worth the trouble. I put it on my iPhone all it does is put a dot on the date, the same type of dot that it puts on when you make an appointment It is kind of a hassle because you have to tap on the date to find out what the dot is for.

Remarkable. What a super app. Elegant and effortless. Saved me hours of work. Worth every penny and a must have for anyone doing business internationally. Bravo!

Great. Best!!!!!. This a very good app to add holidays and federal holidays so you know what days the banks are closed. No problem with duplicates. It asks you to remove duplicates when adding different calendars.

Lousy app. The old version had a lot of useful information and links to more info on the internet. This one simply fills your calendar with dates, whether you want them or not. Lousy and not worth it. And often a nuisance.
