One Medical Comments & Reviews 2026
Feedback on the Care Plan Tab. I’ve noticed that the Care Plan tab currently shows every action item, even when some of them are multi-step tasks. For example, I have three referrals to schedule, but the only option to ‘mark it done’ is after I’ve completed the visit, not when I’ve scheduled the appointment. This leads to pending tasks lingering for months, especially for labs that are scheduled months ahead, which makes the task list feel overwhelming. It would be very helpful if I could mark tasks as ‘scheduled,’ and input the date of the appointment. This way, the badge number on the Care Plan tab could decrease based on how many appointments are scheduled. For labs or other items that can’t be rushed (e.g., a lab due in three months), the same process would work well. This feature would allow me to keep track of upcoming tasks more easily and ensure the Care Plan reflects real-time progress. Thank you for considering this improvement!
Could be a great app, but has very frustrating bugs. In general, the One Medical app is a great way to quickly communicate with my medical provider. But there are two super frustrating bugs I hope the team could fix. One, the app frequently deletes draft messages when you switch to another app. If you’re writing a message with long prescription names answering detailed questions from your medical provider, then lose everything, it’s brutal. Secondly, the app disabled basic copy and paste when you’re writing messages. So don’t bother trying to compose messages in another app to avoid losing your data. You won’t be able to share that information with your medical provider. Please fix these minor bugs, One Medical team, and your otherwise great app will be wonderful for your patients. Thanks!
One Medical is the way medicine should be. This is such a well thought and put together app. I’ve never had an issue. My provider and other members of my care team are so easy to reach and are quick to respond. The iOS version of the app makes it very easy for me to send documents and get those documents back over to other providers or my insurance. I love that I can contact someone if I am concerned about anything via videoconference and every time that I’ve done that, the app works flawlessly I have not had any troubles and it truly helps keep me healthy by reducing my stress and anxiety… How many apps can say that?
Awful when not an employer benefit. I am sure this is great if your employer pays for it. For me, $199/year is not worth it on top of my insurance costs, so I am a “limited member.” As a limited member, I can receive messages from my provider but cannot respond. I also cannot make or change appointments online or in the app, I have to call. After waiting on hold for 15+ minutes, I just have to no-show my appointment since there is no way to contact my provider to reschedule. Building a membership model on avoiding purposeful inconvenience is not making me upgrade, just alienating me as a customer. I don’t believe One Medical has created enough value behind their paywall to justify their membership fee, they have just built an obnoxious wall that they want you to pay to avoid. Goodbye One Medical: I will go back to paying nothing in exchange for having 21st century ways to reach my doctor.
Meh. When I signed up for one medical, there were copious Covid testing sites and next day appointments which was easy and so helpful. Since I paid for membership, many NYC locations have closed or stopped Covid testing altogether. Such a disappointment and I can barely use them for this service anymore. You can never get appointments less than a few days in advance. They were my go-to. The facilities and staff are all nice, however I saw a NP for the same issue 3x. It didn’t improve after the multiple assessments and treatments. When I went to another doc, in seconds they provided the correct diagnosis and it was cured within a week. I was really disappointed that it went over the NP’s head three times as I liked her and wanted to trust her. So now I can’t go regularly for Covid testing due to their company changes, and I don’t feel confident seeing them for General services given my obvious misdiagnosis. So my membership is moot and I won’t be renewing.
The App & Scottsdale Location are amazing!. I’m obsessed with One Med at the Scottsdale Fashion Square location. I love scheduling on the app and messaging providers. Everyone on staff is so kind and friendly. I’ve been in feeling my worst and they always brighten my day. From getting routine bloodwork to diagnosing illnesses, they handle it all! I’m terrified of needles, but the phlebotomist always makes me forget about my worries and always retrieves my bloodwork successfully and comfortably (when I’ve gone to other doctor’s offices, they have struggled with my stubborn veins). She is the best along with the office manager Diana, who both turned my day around during a recent visit. Thank you for offering such a convenient and positive experience always!
Kids & Family Management need to be accessible in one account. I really need to be able to manage all the bills and appointments for my family from one account. You just rolled out onemedical kids in my area, I added/registered them but there is no way to add them to my app, so that I can make appointments and message their providers in one place. The confirmation email suggested my 8yr old download the app so she can make her own appointments. This is unrealistic and entirely shortsighted, minor children do not handle any aspects of their healthcare experience. Having to log into four separate accounts to pay bills with my HSA card is exhausting.
None Medical. Am I rating the app or the company? Either way. Avoid. Thanks to the idiotic HIPPA law, we have to have these supposedly more secure communications portals. Doesn’t actually make it more secure, just more cumbersome. But that not just one med, it’s everywhere. But all I can say about the care is that is all style, no substance. The providers I’ve dealt with are less engaged than the average Walmart associate. Walmart associates actually try to help you solve a problem. One med just seems to want to make me book more appointments so they can bill my insurance more (I have really good insurance). I don’t need wicker baskets to hide my urine sample, I need a doctor who who does his (or her) job. This company was recently busted for letting vips cut the covid line, it is just a matter of time until the feds come knocking for insurance fraud.
THE BEST FOR INTROVERTS. I am definately one of those people that would rather suffer in pain for a week than go through the trouble of making a doctor appointment, getting there, taking forever and then having to drive somewhere else to get my stuff. This app makes it SO easy. Litteraly sent a dm, filled out some questions over text, and then got my medicine for my painful uti the next day delivered TO MY HOUSE. amazing app.
Wonderful Video Visit. Marsha was very kind and patient during the video visit. She listened to everything I had to say regarding my asthma history, and the current exacerbation that I was experiencing with the help of my peak flow measurement diary. I was prescribed my medications and given step by step instructions for all the possible scenarios. She even said that she would check up on me later this afternoon! Above and beyond client services! I always feel well cared for by the providers at One Medical.
Bait and switch, video calls are not free. Video calls with a medical professional are supposed to be included in my plan for free. It says so in the app. After having what I thought was a free call, I am then charged. It turns out that in the app they differ between “booking an video appointment“ and “video chat with a healthcare professional” The part that is actually supposed to be free is buried at the very bottom of the app where as the part that they charge you for (and don’t disclose) is prominent at the very top. Bait and switch Gross misrepresentation of what is actually included in the app under my plan. Very surprised they haven’t gotten away with us up until now. But rest assured I will be reporting this to sequoia.
Love , dislike relationship, and Love wins. We’ve been members of One Medical for 5 years ever since we retired here. We adore Dr Nili Azhar and the Biltmore office. We also enjoy reaching out with questions, concerns and emergencies with the Live Video chat. Unfortunately it’s taking longer to connect on the video chats. In addition office personnel have dropped a few things. And the biggest issue is no direct phone line to the office. We’re seniors and maybe resist all electronic communication. A phone call for us means more.
For the love of god fix family logins. This has been issue I’ve raised for a few years. And was told it would be changing. With our first child we where told that I would need to use a different email address, and log in and out of the app to go between their information and mine. Two separate accounts. Then with the second child three years later, it continues to be unresolved and we have to use a THIRD email address, logging in and out. Add my partners membership and this one App has us logging in and out with FOUR different email addresses in order to access a significant aspect of what we are paying One Medical to be a part of: convenience. Making and changing appointments, video visits , lab results, messaging care providers etc. Permissions and multiple accounts under one login has been solved. It is wild to me as someone who works in Tech that this is still the experience for One Medical. If My Chart and our local hospital systems can figure this out, why is One Medical not making similar changes. HIPPA already addressed child/parent privacy concerns so that cannot be the issue. Please please please fix this. I want to switch profiles within the App without having to log in and out. And remember which email address I used for which person.
Never going back to another doctor. HANDS DOWN the best app/service/doctors/treatment. I’ve been loyal to onemedical for 3 years now. During shelter in place I moved to Fresno where OneMedical doesn’t have an office so I went to a traditional doctor. I will never do that again. I didn’t realize how lucky I was with onemedicals service until I had to wait 3 hours to video chat a doctor, didn’t hear back from them (re: my lab results) for 2 weeks, no one answered the phones during those 2 weeks, and it was obvious I was just another patient to them. OneMedical treats me with so much care. They are responsive and attentive. They are always available and always kind. I’m forever obsessed with OneMedical.
So thankful for video appointments!!!. I have a newborn at home and it was going to be impossible for me to go into a location for an appointment.I was having a cough and needed to see a practitioner. Are use the video chat function and was able to see someone in five minutes. She gave me a prescription and very clear instructions on what to do next. This saved me so much time and headache! I love One medical and I constantly refer friends and family to it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Healthcare Experience!. One Medical has completely transformed my healthcare experience. The app is incredibly user-friendly and makes scheduling appointments, accessing medical records, and communicating with my healthcare providers so easy and convenient. The virtual care option has been a lifesaver, especially during busy times. The providers are professional, compassionate, and always take the time to address all my concerns. I also love the integrated health tips and resources that help me stay on top of my health. Overall, One Medical provides top-notch service, both in-person and through the app. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless and efficient healthcare experience!
Messages to doctors silently fail to send. I hadn't received a response after a few days from my practitioner to a medical question I had messaged through the app. I checked the message thread and saw that the message had never been sent. I never saw a message telling me the message hadn't been sent, it just failed silently. When I tried to resend the message it failed again with no guidance on what was wrong or how to remedy the problem. For a healthcare system, this is extremely irresponsible, and for many time sensitive medical questions could mean life or death. At minimum make sure the user knows nobody is seeing their messages so they can get help elsewhere.
App is Lacking. OneMedical is great as a service. The app, however, is years behind that of other providers. Why is health data from my Apple Watch not yet integrated? Why is it not possible to connect to other apps, such as scales, and fitness apps? My doctor and I always talk about tracking heart rate, weight, activity levels, blood pressure. Why are all these manually input when there are APIs available that can automatically add this data to your OneMedical chart? I’ve been with OneMedical for two years now, and nothing has changed in the app. What are the developers working on? It’s very disappointing to see for a subscription service.
Waste of money. My regular doctor retired so I thought I would try this as a convenient replacement. Needed a refill on a prescription. Filled out the refill request form on the app and got a reply saying I need to see a doctor to get a refill. Ummm...I thought onemedical used real doctors? Evidently they don't use 'real' doctors and just push you off o someone else - all while they charge you a membership fee. If I wanted someone to tell me to go to a doctor to get a refill, I could have just called my mom and asked for advice - and saved the membership fee. What a joke. If you say you're a convenient 24/7 medical provider, act like one.
Do not recommend. Tha app itself is ok - nothing special and mimics most patient apps. They charge you a substantial office visit fee - higher than most pcp’s. I was shocked to receive a large bill from them. If you’re going to charge for an office visit then what’s the point? We can all go to pcp’s or other point of service locations for much cheaper and faster service. As it is I had one visit and the dr wouldn’t even follow up until I specifically requested them to. Then I try to pay by phone and go through all the verification only to be told no one is available? What? I was told the advantage is using the app and telegraph visits. You can get that anywhere. I am surprised by the positive reviews. It’s nothing special or worth it. You can definitely find all inclusive providers where you pay a monthly subscription and no surprises.
Best Decision Ever. If you are on the fence with this service, please do not hesitate to sign up. They make everything so easy and you can even video chat with a professional at any time of the day. If you normally have to wait months for a doctors appointment, that is not the case with One Medical. You can go on the app and schedule your own appointments. The office I went to was so pleasant and peaceful and everything is very streamlined. So happy I made this decision!
Growing too fast. I used to love One Medical but they are growing too fast and can’t support their demand in my area. One of the perks used to be same or next day in person appointments and that is never a possibility now. I also feel that the doctors are a bit overworked. They used to have plenty of time to listen and now I am rushed out by a time limit. So sad, this was such a refreshing change to the industry but they aren’t scaling properly and reverting back to the same problems a regular practice would have.
The Best Dr./Patient system. I have had a hard time in the past with communicating with doctors and getting lab results. This system is so efficient I can’t believe that all practices aren’t run like this. You can make your appt. on the app, you can get your test results and talk with your Dr. on it also. Recently, I had to use the video chat service because it was Sunday and the Dr. I spoke with went over my chart, saw my recent test results over a ailment I was dealing with and sent out a prescription which I had in my hands 20 min later! Best service ever! Totally worth the annual membership.
The way dr care should be. Welcome to the 21st century medical care! I’ve been using it since they first arrived on the NY scene and have been making my life easier now for over 10 years. One request: when I schedule a visit/appt/test, please add a function to add the date/time to Google calendar. I don’t use Apple calendar and have once forgot to input manually into my Gcal, and have almost forgot to show up for my appt.
We have 13 children. So when my 21 month old got pink eye 1st of all we had Insurance paperwork issues. So my wife found this amazing site that also got us an appointment today. We have 8 children currently enrolled in 8 different schools daycare-graduate school. So our daily schedule is a little hectic, well this service saved the day. No children late for school and no activities missed owe did I mention medicine is also sent through service. So no extra trips added to my day just relief for my child and no stress for us!
Great tele health and other features in the app.. I’ve been using the One Medical app for a couple of years and I really really like all of the features in it I like the care plan, I like the fact that I can upload my blood pressure, I can talk to my doctors, I can get telehealth you know within a 10 minutes of requesting it, and it’s usually really good and a very responsive. I can book appointments- it’s just a great app and a great service.
Frustrating Experience with Double Billing and Delayed Repayment. My experience with this medical provider has been nothing short of a nightmare. I wouldn't wish this kind of frustration on anyone. From the very beginning, they displayed a complete lack of transparency, double billing me for services rendered. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, they were extremely uncooperative and showed no urgency in addressing the matter. To make matters worse, when it came to repayments for the overcharged amounts, the process was unbearably slow. It took an exorbitant amount of time and persistent follow-ups just to get a partial reimbursement, leaving me feeling utterly ignored and taken advantage of. Their lack of professionalism and unwillingness to rectify their mistakes are inexcusable. I expected better from a medical provider, but they have disappointed me beyond measure. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this establishment and seek a more reputable and reliable healthcare provider. Save yourself the headache and find someone who respects their patients and values their reputation.
App is a bit clunky. The app isn’t bad but it could be better. Logging into the app doesn’t actually happen in the app, it reroutes you to a mobile web browser which creates a very disjointed experience. It also renders the Face ID feature useless. On numerous occasions I’ve found that after I close the app and reopen it, I’m still logged in. This seems like a huge security and HIPPA issue. When I receive a notification that I have an action item or a message, because of the disjointed log on process mentioned above clicking on the notification doesn’t take me to the action item, it lands on the home page. I then have to go searching for whatever needs my attention. I’ve also tried uploading a picture of my insurance card on the app but that feature seems to have an issue too. I took pics of my card through the app. It seemed like it worked but it just sat in a pending status. It wasn’t until an Admin contacted me asking for my insurance info that I realized it hadn’t worked. I had to resubmit the pics.
Love One Medical. While I don’t need medical appointments often, when I do One Medical I’m beyond convenient. I’ve used OM for a handful of reasons in the past but this morning prompted me to write a review. I woke up with the beginnings of a fever blister and didn’t have any medication refills- since it was Sunday morning I didn’t want to have to wait a full day but OM allows for immediate video chats with a NP- I jumped on and will have my medication within the hour. So impressed.
Amazing care and service. Having a sick baby can be confusing and stressful with lots of urgent care or even ER visits - it’s been such a game changer to be able to speak with a nurse within 15 minutes to know whether we need to go to urgent care or if it can wait until the morning - or what to do about side effects of medication for example. And that was just this weekend… peace of mind at 9pm, 1am … whenever you need advice … is amazing!
Excellent video care. I just talked with Dr Barbara Trask via video link after suffering a bad fall and landing on my chin (heavily!) while walking our dogs last night. I was worried about concussion because I had experienced some nausea, but Dr Trask checked with me and I seemed to have done everything right. She told me that I would just be observed for concussion symptoms. I had wondered whether I should go to prompt care for an X-ray or scan. I didn’t want to drive anywhere and being able to check via video was extremely helpful, as was Dr Trask.
Tapping on the wrong button could cost $380. During the pandemic, almost everything is virtual. I didn’t realize that scheduling a remote visit and seeking the video chat option were different services since in both instances, I’m speaking to a medical professional and the app doesn’t make the distinction very clear. Make sure you click on the video chat option first if seeking remote help, which is free rather than scheduling a remote visit. Scheduling a remote visit for simple medical device/prescription refill could cost hundreds of dollars, which was the case for me. One medical should make this difference much clearer. It’s the most expensive mistake I’ve made due to a lack of clarity in the product.
No Access. My experience overall has not been good. The app was not accepting may password. When I tried to reset the password the app dialog instructed me to wait for a password reset option to appear in my email. This did not happen. I repeated this process over ten times in the course of a month. When I tried calling the phone number was inactive.I tried again recently and did receive an email reset. This is frustrated to have a subscription and not have access. The text is invisible or colored white on a white background as I write this review. This is probably an error in the app. There will probably be many typos but I can’t see the text to correct it.
Not user friendly. I give this two stars because it’s not user-friendly. The whole entire system is not well explained, labels, and confusing. I guess that’s how they’ll make their money…? Make it too hard to use so you don’t actually have to pay out to a medical professional. My husband signed us all up as a family, paid $27/mo for all 4 of us, but it has been nothing but one confusion after another. That is is no systematic order of operation as far as what I need to do once I get the email invite he sent me. There is a lot of blind guessing and shear luck. If they could improve the sign up method and make it more streamlined and user-friendly, with more explanation and clear in suctions in a step-by-step format it would be great.
Still doesn’t open in the Mini 13. The app crashes anytime I try to open it in my iPhone 13 Mini. Maybe there aren’t enough ppl who use this size phone for the engineers to care bc I’ve raised this issue several times now and all they advise is for me to use the desktop app. I don’t use desktop that much so it’s just a silly idea to expect patients to do this all because they don’t support the Mini anymore. I have forgotten to schedule appointments several times bc of this. It is counter intuitive to their whole product that the software becomes a barrier to care. What am I even paying for at this point?
Threatening me and canceling my appointment. One Medical has been threatening to cut my prescription if I don’t see my doctor. I immediately made an appointment and wrote my doctor. My doctor never answered my email. I took a half day off work to get to the appointment and I had to call to get the address because the app login screen was just a spinning wheel. I arrived at the appointment and they had canceled and given my appointment away. There are severe side effects of going off my prescription without rolling it down gradually. I feel my health is being threatened by this company. Please never use them. They will not take care of you or even act like they care.
Instant help when you feel the worst!. It seems to always be the case that after you get dressed, drive to the drs office and finally get to their room, your symptoms are no longer as annoying and present as they were at home. Making you seem a little dramatic and whiny. But with the Telehealth option you can get connected with a Dr right when you’re having that awful coughing episode so they can truly hear what you’re experiencing and give you the best recommendation. This has saved me so many trips driving to a Drs office and really elevated the attention and acute diagnoses to my illnesses when I have them.
Everything I want out of a medical app and more. Makes it extremely easy to get medical care, and my health has improved because of it. Doctor appointments are such a logistical hassle that I used to put them off as long as possible. I now get care for many more things, much sooner, much quicker, and with much less stress. OneMedical has a range of ultra-convenient options: resources to read, questionnaires to get you quick help on common problems, professionals accessible by video calls with short wait times (apparently 5 minutes was an “unusually long wait time”), and super simple ways to schedule in-person exams and lab work. The app is also beautifully designed and easy to navigate.
Video Chat A+. The provider Erin Love was very attentive and provided a quick, reasonable resolution. I can appreciate her listening skills because that is lacking these days. Erin’s warm chairside manner made the appointment more delightful. Regardless of an actual video chat, it felt like I was in the office. Minus a star for 10+ minute wait to locate a provider. I have used the video chat before COVID and wait times were under 3 minutes. I can't say if I will remain with one medical because same day/ 24hr appts are very hard to come by.
Customer for Years. I was an early adopter of One Medical, way back when they started, as i was commuting from NYC to San Francisco and they had offices conveniently in both cities. Fast forward to 2022, so much has changed and the staff, offices, and availability ebbs and flows. If you’re looking for the same doctor for 100 years, this isn’t your thing. But if you are looking for a modern, friendly, available, flexible and caring medical center that is really forward thinking, i couldn’t recommend one medical enough.
Excellent care. A friend of mine referred me to this service that I did not know it existed after not being able to get a PCP visit on time. This is cheaper than the virtual urgent care that my insurance offers because that’s 75 dollars for each visit. Sign up, app download was easy, and I got to see a provider in a timely manner. The provider was able to help, listened carefully and delivered excellent care. Thank you
One Medical and me. It is crazy to think that in over 35 years my medical care professionals have not looked after my health or treated my symptoms. I have been left to advocate for myself in every single issue. That changed at One Medical! I started seeing Douglas Gregg and he immediately he outlined my issues and within a month stabilized my health and now we are working on medium and long range goals. Douglas personally takes my health seriously and is navigating me through the maze of specialists and test results while explaining the issues I have and how to address them. NEVER have I heard of anyones health issues being addressed as holistically and as aggressive as Douglas has. His energy and motivation has transferred to me and now I am improving my health. I cannot say enough of how I appreciate Douglas and One Medical.
This app is just bad. It works, but so many things are wrong. Example: hours of offices and labs are never up to date. You show up and it’s closed or people tell you that labs are closed and say you should call first. What’s the point of an app if I have to call? Then you book an appointment and after it’s booked there is no way to see the upcoming appointment and address within the app. Not even talking about privacy aspects: you think you are talking privately to your doctor and then random people from the “medical staff” jump in the conversation and start replying…. How many people actually have access to my conversation where i send very personal details??
Just the best service. So convenient! I just love that I can get help and advice for an ailment through the app quickly and conveniently any time day or night. I am a busy professional and seem to fall ill at the most inconvenient times, like on a business trip or on weekends. The best part of being a member of One Medical is being able to reach a a care professional through the app at anytime day or night on my schedule. There is always someone available to me to answer my questions, treat my current symptoms and give me advice until I can see a doctor in person. I can even schedule my appointments. This service and the medical advice I’ve received has been invaluable in getting and keeping me healthy.
Worth the extra money. I have heard some people say the extra annual fee at One Med puts them off. I have always found One Med to be a great Healthcare resource. As they have grown, there definitely have been more mixups with information and getting everything right the first time. The staff has consistently been lovely to work with, no matter what. Never a harsh word even if I’m aggravated. I have had the same primary doc for the entire more than 10 years I have been supported through several heavy-duty medical procedures. I could create this as an infomercial—but I’ll leave by saying One Medical Group is a fabulous medical resource!
Would be great if it worked. Two problems right off the bat. First I tried to schedule a yearly wellness exam with the app, but it only lets you schedule virtual exams with the app. Have to use the web browser to schedule them in person. How are you going to do the physical checks virtually? How does the blood tests work virtually? Anyway, I used the web browser. They send me a questionnaire for the appointment about my health so I fill it out. Day before the appointment I get a cancellation notice with no reason given. I reschedule. Have to fill out the questionnaire again. Day before the appointment, it’s cancelled with no reason given. Now my free trial is about up and all they’ve delivered is frustration. Who would pay for this garbage?
Update made app useless for an iPhone 7. I have had One Medical for several years & have liked the service & the app. But now I cannot open the app because it works only with iOS 16. I have an iPhone 7 which won’t upgrade to iOS 16. This is REALLY disappointing as it makes the app useless. The app tells me to upgrade but when I hit “upgrade” it takes me to App Store where I’m told to open the app. When I hit “open” I’m back at the app telling me to upgrade. Update: since writing above I’ve been locked out of my account on my computer & told to change password but it doesn’t send the password reset. I wrote to tech support at One Medical & have not gotten a response. Also, I originally submitted this review a day ago & it has not shown up on the App Store. What’s with that? I’ve been really happy with One Medical up til now & recommended it to others. But all these tech problems are frustrating.
Used to love it but becoming useless. Overall the one medical app works ok which is why I’m giving the 3 stars. I used to love One Medical, but now between the cost and often useless advice, I am canceling my membership. Lately I have had a separate lab bill for anytime that I have needed testing in addition to the copay paid, which is also in addition to the annual membership fee. I was even charged fees for my annual physical which should be included with my insurance. Then, when I used to be able to get useful health advice and care, that has stopped as well. Just a bunch of messages saying watch your symptoms.
Amazing Care and Completely Worth the Yearly Membership Fee. I’ve been a member at one Medical for at least three years. It’s so easy to find someone to see when you need medical help at any of their locations around the city. Everything goes into my chart so any doctor I speak to has all my informal and can pick up where we last left off. That’s the best and most important offering to me. I am confident I’m getting the best care and my interests are most important, not just billing enough patients in a day. Highly recommend them!
Amazing!!!. I cannot believe how easy this is! At a time where everything seems so difficult this has been a change that has brought a lot of relief. I signed up at the beginning of the pandemic and I have used One Medical a lot! It almost seems like magic. I use to dread calling the Dr’s office for an appointment. Now, I pop on my phone and talk to a live Dr in less than 5 mins!!!! I have been able to get Covid tests, an antibody test, and antibiotics for a sinus infection with ease. Thank you One Medical! You’re the BEST!! I have been telling all my friends to join.

Urgent 5 minute video call. I just spoke with Angelica to get an overseas prescription refilled. She was caring, efficient and helpful and understood my situation immediately. She refilled my prescription, thank you. I also exchanged text messages with Caleb a couple of days ago, who was also extremely helpful. I’m very impressed with One Medical’s service. Thank you

Help at any time with any issue. The app’s “Treat Me Now” feature is extremely convenient and helpful. I have been getting help with medical issues that I have been putting off for years because I never considered them important enough to go to a doctor. With the One Medical app, I can get help immediately at any time. I just got help with a skin issue at 11pm. Fantastic, speedy service from professionals.

Virtual Helath. I have worked remotely and often find it challenging to have access to quality primary care services. I had been through multiple virtual health apps but non of em is as usher friendly and efficient as One medical. They’ve simplified primary care services without eliminating the option to see a provider in person.
Quick, professional help when needed. Found myself out of town and having symptoms of a GI infection I’d dealt with previously. Got swift response to my request for an urgent video chat, and antibiotics were prescribed in time to pick up the next morning, which saved my trip. Thank you, One Medical!
What a pleasant experience!. We had some irritation from skin cream and were able to immediately get a diagnosis and treatment recommendations. It was especially concerning because it was around the eyes, and the PA easily explained what was happening and assured us that it was not something worse. Thank you for calming our fears and making sure that we connected.
Review. Toni the nurse that I spoke to was wonderful. Prior to her coming in I had submitted a nad review because since Friday it has been impossible to get anyone. I had gone to the emergency room and needed to check in and could get no one. The service is uneven. Not sure I would do this again. But when I get a practitioner they are always wonderful. The support service is not b
Consistently amazing care!. I absolutely love one medical! Every time I have anything wrong and I need to use the treatment now feature or the video feature for a quick appointment. It’s incredibly fast efficient and helpful. I love that I can get my medication same day and that the doctors and RNs that help are incredibly kind and thorough and evaluating my issues.
Can’t imagine my life without OneMedical. Never again need to take off time to go in to the doctor for quick little questions, the staff are incredible and there is no wait time when you do have an in person appointment!! Would leave six stars if I could - thank you OneMedical!
A Great Place to Be. Professional, knowledgeable staff, specialty care options, multiple locations in major metropolitan areas, extended hours in some locations, last minute appointments, video and in- office appointments, and even Saturday appointments available! This is just the short list of the things that make One Medical such a great medical practice.
20th century technology. The NP’s , PA’s and Physicians are amazing and a personal advocate. The technology is horrible to half to do half of your activities online only and the other half on the app but they require the app!!!! Y they don’t allow you to inquire with questions on the app about the app or administrative info. You can’t pay your bill from the app or use ApplePay. Since you can’t ask questions or get answers online you have to call but they won’t help you with tech questions.
Constantly blown away. I have been with OneMedical for a few years and I am constantly impressed by their customer service and efficiency. Being with OneMedical has made my life infinitely easier and everyone I work with from my primary care to the video chat nurses are kind, empathetic, and so knowledgeable. I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with this company.
Well Worth It. I’ve had One Medical for about 3 years now. 2 years ago we moved away from their physical locations so we’ve been using their virtual only services as a supplement to our local PCP. It’s been EXTREMELY convenient and well worth the money. I just had a positive flu test and within 20 minutes had spoken with a provider and had my tamiflu Rx sent in. The shortest wait I could find at a local urgent care was 4 hours! I’m so glad we decided to give the virtual services a shot. It’s nice to have 24/7 access to care and they’ve come in handy for bridge prescription refills when I can’t get into my PCP and when I’m sick I don’t have to wait hours or days to be seen. 10/10 would recommend.
Will miss this!. Have been a devoted customer for over a decade. Never had a bad experience. Appointments on time, direct email access to my doctor, personal relationship with her, option for instant video appointments, I mean One Medical has it all. We are moving to Italy in August and will miss the quality of care (combined with total convenience) immensely!
So AMAZING!. I was very hesitant of signing up, it’s not the cost it was the “what if” the provider I was assigned AMAZING! Great bedside (er, chairside) manner much better than that I get from my doctors in person! And the price - did I mention the price? Hands down so much more affordable than our local virtual clinic or even a telemedicine phone call with doctor! Will recommend to anyone I can!!
Excellent care - they just keep getting better!. I have been with one medical since 2011 - I’ve had a few hiccups, but every time they have addressed the issue and made things better. I stay with them because I continue to be impressed by the level of care. Today I tried the video appointments that are available 24/7 and I was very impressed with the easy access to support and care! Thank you!
amazing service. I had a semi-urgent question and was given the option to video chat someone right away. After a short wait I was connected to a friendly, professional provider who quickly clarified my question. I really appreciate the efficiency and professionalism of the staff here, as well as how personable they are. Truly amazing service!
Would rate 0 if I could.. I reached out for assistance and according to the app I would have received a response within 4 hours. It took them almost 8 hours to respond. The response? A copy pasted explanation of different types of illnesses and mostly holistic ways to treat them, as well as a over the counter medication recommendations which I had already said in my initial request that I had taken and they weren’t working. The only reason I used this service instead of an actual in person doctor is because I don’t have insurance. And trust me, I won’t do use it again.
Good but needs full iPad support to be great.. I love the app on my phone, but it becomes useless on the iPad since there is no native iPad support. When I use my iPad Pro with the keyboard to write a longer message, the app stays in a small phone-like screen and does not rotate. Also, like another reviewer mentioned, you lose any text you’ve typed into a text box when switching apps, which is frustrating for drafting messages.
Pet peeve. App works mostly well…But when setting up a video chat, why does the app limit problem descriptions to like 100 characters? It seems like a basic courtesy to allow more room then we commonly get for a tweet. Seems like a case of the software developers never actually using the app that they make.
Great doctors, poor app. Love the doctors and staff of One Medical. The app experience however could be improved. For starters, uploading a medical card would be great instead of just taking an image. My card is virtual so I can’t snap a pic of it. Also biometric login or if the app could simply remember your login would be great. I’m frequently locked out of the app which is annoying when trying to find your test results on the go.
New member, first virtual appointment. Chatted with Brieana tonight - connected with her in about 2 minutes (7pm on a Saturday). I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. She walked me through some points of One Medical that were good to know and then got to the bottom of my video request to help exactly what I needed. Thank you for the great experience!!
Awesome video appointment. It's the weekend and often our urgent care isn't open due to staff shortages so I called my 24-7 doctor's office and ended up with this video appointment on a Sunday. The clinician I spoke with was absolutely awesome and very informative. I could not be happier with how this worked out. Thank you to all involved that makes this happen for people.
Awesome! Could be better as well.. The app has been amazing so far. It is important for a medical services app to not be buggy and be smooth, and it is the One Medical app checks those boxes! My suggestion for improvement is to enable the app to check my phone’s health app to check my vitals and trends instead of me logging them. This would help very much. Thank you!
This app has gotten so bad. This app has gotten so hard to use. It’s practically impossible to find an appointment with the practitioner you want and it only shows you one or two practitioners on the day you’re looking for. The only way I can make an appointment with the practitioner I want is by calling One Medical. It shouldn’t be this hard to use. It is the app that is the issue, not provider availability, because when I called, I was able to get in within a week to see her. The app wasn’t showing these appointments and needs to be fixed.
Perfect on day one.. So great so far. I needed advice on a terrible skin issue and I was seen in 2 minutes over video and the NP was compassionate and kind and concerned while not scaring me, but made it undoubtedly clear I needed IV antibiotics immediately. She said an hour to prepare was fine, but to absolutely go tonight. She also agreed to send me a document backing up the urgency of the situation and need for IV antibiotics immediately.
Log in is cumbersome. The app makes me log in and verify via text every single time even though I check the box to remember my device and it’s really frustrating. It makes it a burden to communicate via the app even though that’s supposed to be a more convenient option. I hope this can get fixed in the next update
Fantastic response time. This was my first time using the 24-7video chat for my child - absolutely wonderful and so reassuring to actual talk to someone at this hour and have them at least see us. I’m so impressed. My only complaint is is wish her login for the app was the same as mine, but other than that, excellent
Love this service!. Allecia was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I waited about 15 minutes to see someone for an infected cut on my leg. She offered me a couple of different treatment options and answered my questions and then sent in a prescription for an ointment while I waited. It was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend One Medical!!!!!
Fast food of healthcare!. They charge you $200 upfront for ease of medical service. I do not recommend. Half the time the people do not respond. They charge for virtual medical visits rather than just call for to discuss test results. They will send you emails and texts and you can’t change it to be just one. The doctors take poor notes and ask you repeat questions after multiple visits and record on paper with highlighter. You have to pay for parking too. The medicine list is always wrong on app. The billing dept has never responded to me via the app so now I have to call.
Great option for medical testing and treatment!. OneMedical is an excellent option for testing and for treatment! I have utilized it for Covid testing and others. The service is absolutely 10 star! The team seems to truly care and go out of their way to accommodate. Their is not a long waiting time before seeing a medical professional. Dana, a PA, was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend One Medical.
Keeps logging me out since this latest “new refresh” of the app layout. Ever since this app received a refresh of the layout I am consistently logged out every time I go away from the app for longer than 20 min. I have selected the “remember this device” options during signin and 2FA authentication, but this has not worked. I’ve already reinstalled the app 3 times with no improvement. Please fix this.
Transformational Care. For me, One Medical has been transformational. The attentiveness and rapid response times of the staff combined with easy access to walk-in appointments and 24-hour video chats provides such peace of mind in emergency or high-touch medical situations. I can’t say enough about how easy this has made my move to another region and new insurance either - everything is seamless.
Billing issues take 3+ months to resolve.. I overpaid for a visit and One Medical hasn't gotten back to me about the issue, which I raised 3(!) months ago. I called again today and the representative's only response was "Idk when they're going to get back to you" - then what is the point of having a support representative for the billing team? Are they actually resolving cases? I have no visibility into the progress of the support case. No representative I've spoken to (3 of them now) has the power to move my case along.
Fast and easy. The staff is very empathetic and understanding, and definitely knowledgeable. This was so much easier than having to sit in a building, feeling miserable, waiting to see someone and then having to drive home. The next time that I or a family member is sick, I will be using this service again!
The best doctor experience I could hope for. I am so grateful for the entire team at One Medical for going above and beyond to make going to the doctors a streamlined, simple, and extremely well supported process. The app is easy to navigate and highly intuitive as well, making is easy to keep your records at your finger tips. I will be a customer of theirs for the rest if my life and couldn’t recommend them enough!
Great Service!. I really appreciate the fact that I can consult with a medical professional by phone or video chat, and they have access to my entire medical history. I receive sound medical advice that I can trust, and it’s quick and efficient. All providers with whom I have spoken are polite, caring, and professional. OneMedical has a great business model that fits my needs perfectly.
Jennifer PA. I just finished an amazing session with a lovely physician assistant who walked me through recent test results five of which really concern me. She was very thorough took me through the whole thing put my mind it is and I will have my first good nights sleep in a long time. Jennifer and One Medical are Lifesavers thank you so much for all that you do for your patients.
Some of the best healthcare I’ve experienced. I find the quality of the practitioners specifically on video chat to be extraordinary. In two instances an NP has helped me diagnose, understand, and resolve a years-long medical issue that had puzzled or been dismissed by other doctors. They are kind, efficient, and supportive. Everyone should have access to this kind of care.
Great app plus quality medical care. I have nothing but praise for every experience I’ve had with One Medical, including the iPhone app. I love being able to chat to my doctor on video plus communicate with them through the app and schedule appointments. The app is very well designed and easy to use.
Providers come and go too frequently. Providers come and go too frequently, with some of mine leaving medicine entirely after one medical. If your PCP burns out and takes some time away, the providers that fill in will only point you back to your missing doctor, because they don’t have the bandwidth to actually help. If you actually need your health care, they’re I’ll equipped to provide it. The best they can do is make it easy to get labs and rudimentary services that don’t involve you getting any drugs. And billing has been broken, and I wasn’t even able to pay the bill in the office.
Video chat. Excellent advice and comforting words even when I improperly dosed myself with too much Aleve she didn’t make me feel bad about it. She told me why it is risky to my kidney and told me what to do instead. The time waiting for the call was less than 5 minutes which is worthwhile to me considering other places offer much longer wait times or don’t call back. This was a positive experience.
Awesome Organization. This is the best personal care provider I have had during my adult life. Any provider I have seen at One Medical has been very detailed with their examination and questions. Never hesitate to execute a referral to a specialist or or an exam, or try to medicate you immediately versus waiting for a second trip before choosing the medication route.
Way Oversold. One Medical has oversold their subscriptions. In the past month, I’ve had a few experiences where they’ve failed to respond to my messages in the app within their specified response periods. While I used to be able to book an appointment within the next few days, now the availability at locations near me can be weeks. I was told by a One Medical physician that I could drop by any location for a quick lab draw, but in reality the wait was estimated at 40 minutes on a Tuesday morning before 9am.
Video call with a provider was excellent. I just had a video call with a provider for travelers diarrhea and it was such a relief to talk to her and get a plan for what to do. The value of a call like that was so high for me and being able to talk to her today instead of a few days feom now makes this process so much better!
How Healthcare should be!. For the past few years, we have had fast, flexible, thorough, and effective care with One Medical. I always go in and leave with the utmost confidence in any of the health providers I see. My only wish - is that they had more presence countrywide!! I am in Florida now, and sadly have to choose another provider in network.
Amazing fast way to get great and informed medical help. This was Jennifer my first time to use this service and it was delightfully amazing. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable NP. I felt very comfortable with my consult and I recommend this service to anyone needing reliable and fast medical help and guidance. NP walker appreciate your help, thank you very much. Keep up the good work.
One Medical is exceptional responsive.. Whenever I have a medical concern, One Medical is accessible by video or in person allowing us to work together to address it timely. The doctors are very thorough and invested in my wellness. They are very knowledgeable and informative. I have convince my wife to join. She also is impressed with the service.
So convenient. I am battling with seasoning depression and anxiety and decided enough was enough after 10m I was seen and given the medication I need to help me feel normal again. This was quicker than waiting 7-8 weeks to get into the office. I felt seen and heard. This platform is going to make healthcare so much more affordable and obtainable for so many people. The provider who seen me was fantastic.
Always Exceptional Care and Customer Service. I was with a concierge service before I discovered One Medical a few years ago. I have had great experiences at all the facilities in Austin, New York, Marin Countu CA and Los Angeles. It’s the perfect complement to my health insurance. Great physicians and PAs and I’m almost always able to get an appointment within a couple of days. Highly recommend joining!
Best way to get quick medical advice. Super easy and effective way to medical advice. My wait times have been under 10 minutes every time. Feels reassuring as they will say things like ‘rest it 3 more days and see how it feels’ or ‘that is something you want to check out in person, can I schedule something for you?’ Better than searching the internet for information.
Good practical help from both video chats. I’m grateful to both Birgitta and Donna N for bringing some calm during Covid times. Since o haven’t had the virus I was sure that I had this last time. A quick professional look at my symptoms was what I needed. Thanks for making this medical model efficient even during busy hours.
Put my mind to rest. I had an accident and bruised my ribs but it became more painful as the days went on and I was worried that maybe there was something more than just bruised ribs I had a video chat and he had me do several things to make sure that it wasn’t more serious and now I feel much better I know this will hurt but it will heal. He was great thank you Alex.
