Regret. Instantly regretted paying for this app. Poor design, and function. And extreme lack of options that should be present in an app like this. (Auto fit, face shape detection, sliding option changes while hair layer is still selected)

Great fun!. I've never tried hair apps before, so I was skeptical, but this is a lot of fun. With a good shot and positioning, you can make the hairstyles look realistic! I've already tried it on my friend!

Worth it!. Wanted to try out a number of looks without having to walk out in the street and dramatically change my appearance. Easy-to-use & fun tool to alter photos.

Works for me. Have had long hair for last 25 yrs. It is now thinning and need to go with something shorter. App helped me decide what I DON'T want.

Great app. This is one of my favorite photo FX apps. The effects are very realistic. The interface is well laid out and user friendly. The one thing I dont like about the new version though, is that the color editing seems to be more restricted than the previous version. That aside, I use many different photo editing apps, and this is by far one of the best in this category. Overall 5 stars

Terrible. Didn’t work at all! Waste of money!!!!

Hilarious. I bought the app hoping to test out new hair styles. I ended up goofing around with all the different features. It's a surprisingly decent app. I still haven't picked out a hair style, but have definitely gotten more than $1 worth of laughs.

Insanely fun app. Insanely fun app that actually looks pretty realistic. There are many options for beards, mustaches and as well as 3 different hair type lengths(long, medium and short) This app will bring you many laughs and is well worth the money!

Bad hairstyles. Fun but not useful.. Needs age specific hairstyles. The majority of the ones supplied are useless and practically cartoony.

Useless.. Absolutely useless app. They don’t have a great collection of hairstyles. Save your money don’t buy this app.

Good start. Good start, need a few adjustments. Need a larger color variation, like a slider bar. Aalto need the ability to scale the image under a haircut, so you can find the perfect fit. Other then that a good app, lots of fun.

Can’t crop long hair out of a photo. I wanted to give my boyfriend a short haircut but I could not crop his long hair out of the photo.

one step to 5 star. The only negative point I can mention is the low number of styles,so if in the next few updates there will be an option to download more models & styles this app will be one of the bests if not the best.

really ads?. I purchased this app and am actually very pleased with the functions. Although there are a few things I am annoyed with. First is ads! I purchased this, I gave them money for the app. I don't want to see the stupid ads if I paid for the app!!!!!!!! This may be from this last update because I don't remember ads before. Next is I would like to see more updates on content. I love the app and the hairstyles, and stuff like that, but it could be updated more than it is with new stuff.

Silly, but not so helpful. Doesn't crop current hair or give a face template to help you take a good photo. Can layer hairstyles and facial hair, and adjust size and orientation to fit photo, which works fairly well. Many fashion mag hairstyles but too few straightforward cuts and not a lot of ethnic options, if you have, say, straight black hair. Good photo export. Basically, it's an amusing app to make a silly photo, and is good at that. However, I didn't find it helpful as a serious tool for choosing a hairstyle for an upcoming haircut.

Not a good app. I would love my $1.99 back.. There was no explaining. The hair pieces would not even fit over my existing hair. I could not erase my hair.

So realistic. I am a hairdresser and this has helped me with my male clients so much. It's so realistic and we have lots of fun trying on some crazy looks as well. Great app!

almost perfect. - please add undo and redo options to the app, - add Cancel option to the editor sliders because if I do something wrong I can't get it back like before and I have to restart from the first

This app is really funny .. I seldom post reviews for apps before . But I have to say we really had a lot of fun when playing silly of this app.

A child's toy. The description of this app describes it as 'fun and functional' leading one to believe it's for serious hairstyle comparisons. It's not, the hair, beards etc. are cartoonish and leave you disappointed. If your wanting to put silly hairstyles on photos of friends just to be silly then buy it. If you're planning on trying out serious hairstyles for yourself or others save your money.

Dumb. This app should be free. It is not worth the 99 cents.

Silly. I was skeptical at first but once I got the hang of it I had fun. The only problem I have with the app is the lack of better instructions.

Its alright. I think it's good but definatly can be better. If you already have real hair then putting the game hair on and covering the real hair is close to Impossible. And beard that I want hardly fits! It should be adjustable. Cool but not worth what ever I paid for it.

Next "ALL-TIME FAVORITE APP..!". I'd bet money that this app will be as widely known as ActionFX and other popular "Entertainment" style apps. It works very well and has lots of tweaks you can use to get just the right effect you're going for..!

junk. 1. As far as I can tell, this buy app is exactly the same as the free one I got called Hairstyle Makeover. 2. They're both useless because they have no instructions. Under Tools (the only possible choice for what to do), the only first step I could figure out was to try the eraser. I tried it and got a pop-up that said "choose a tattoo first." What? Tattoo? OK, maybe it's the term they use...for something (no definition). But there is no visible way to choose a tattoo. End of game. Like I said, useless.

Lots of fun. I just wish I could slightly change the hair color to match my own. But other than that this is lots of fun to play with.

Trash. This app is trash. I would highly advise never downloading it. Doesn’t show up in subscriptions and you have to call Apple and wait around until someone answers. Then they’ll transfer you to another department to remove the app and reoccurring payment. This is a scam and the people that made it are trash.

Good, but could use stretching features. If I could stretch the hair either vertically or horizontally I would definitely give the app a 5. As it is a lot of them don't fit my head.

Just what I was waiting for!. Perfect! With this app I can now add some facial hair as well, so I can completely transform myself!

Fun and useful.. I can actually play with different options to explore new hair styles for myself. Would save a lot of time trying to explain to my stylist what I want.

VB. I purchased this a couple of hours ago for my haircut clients. The finished pic froze when I tried to email it to a client. I had to delete it from my iphone and reinstall. It froze again. If they fix this it would be a nice app. The other thing I don't like are some of the hairstyles look like the models head was turned so they don't fit my fwd looking pic. and you can't change the haircolor. lastly there has been no update for almost a year. Need some new styles.:)

Could have been a great app!. I thought there is a color slider but there is only a color tint selection that does not change color accordingly. If I select gray in the color tint selection for example, all it does is add a fringe of the selected color around the beard rather than change the whole color accordingly.

Worthless. It’s great if you look like a hairless mannequin. No options to edit the photo to mask the original hair/beard. That’s why their stock models are all well trimmed. If it wasn’t just $3 I’d be looking for a refund.

Perfect for a Stylist. I found the styles to be very realistic and use this app with my clients (I am a hairdresser). I could pick out many famous styles including 3 of George Clooney's styles. There are styles for the young and old and yes there are some "just for fun styles" as well, really how many "serious" mustaches can one have? I highly recommend this product to anyone interested in mens hairstyles and facial hair! Well worth the .99!

Unless I’m missing something .... Although there are not nearly enough of them, there are some very cool hairstyles presented. However, unless I’m missing something, once you make a mistake, you have to completely start over. There is no back button for erasing the last edit. Why a developer would omit this simple option is unimaginable. Although I’m not a programmer, every other photo editing App I’ve encountered has included this option for years, so it mustn’t be difficult. That leads me to believe this is either very old and requires an update, or it’s deliberately neglected. Strange. So, unless you are a brain surgeon with a perfectly steady hand, a tiny mistake means, “Try try again.” And, I just don’t have the patience or time.

Good fun. Had some fun and worth the cash. Tip - use the opacity and tint settings to get a better effect, this also helps if you are blonde (washes out colours). Quite good overall 😆

Good idea, but needs improvement. Not bad, but the hair styles need to be able to be stretched in more directions than just a constrained square. Also the eraser tool needs an undo button, the color swatches need serious improvement (blond is light brown or black), a color sampler tool to match to the photo would be good, and after using the eraser tool, if you change the hair color, the hair returns to its original size, but un-erased! Also, a "skin" brush tool would be useful to "remove" hair, otherwise this app is only really useful if you have a photo of yourself with a shaved head and no beard. Please update and fix these things and then it'll be a great app.

Cannot edit length and width. An obvious feature that I needed.

Not user friendly. Don't waste your money. You can't quickly change the effects, each time you select an effect the effect bar closes, if you don't like the effect you have to select the hair again, open back up the effect bar and press the reset button and start all over again. Also if you have to increase the size of the hair after using a close up photo the hair looks distorted.

Good for a basic idea. This is so far the best app I've found for trying on men's hairstyles. It's not perfect but it is a whole lot better than some of the other rubbish out there. It's given me ideas for when I manage to grow out my hair of what I can do so thank you

Have to resize and more hairstyle everytime. Rather than be able to flick easily between styles, they reset everytime you select a new one. Completely useless, sorry.

Not worth .99 cents. Downloaded for fun but unless your head is the size of a pea not many styles to fit your photo. I guess that is where you have to go to the store to buy more. This should be free with in-app purchases.

2.99 for this?. Not anything special, was hoping to try out some different hair styles, but when you have longer hair, it doesn’t have any detection and auto-adjust features to override extra hair or to even auto size according to head shape!

No good. Lack of ability to customize height and width of each style makes this app essentially useless. More of a toy than a useful aid.

Slight Distortion But Not Bad. I’ve just compared a BEFORE vs AFTER shot of my man & realised there’s a slight slimming of the face - which makes the outcome falsely appealing. 😂 Other than that, it actually fooled my friend who is a mature hairdresser, so I guess that says something.

Fun but not really useful for serious hair style experimenting. Would be better if you could scale the haircuts to your photo. Instead you have to retake and rescale photos until your face is the perfect size. Adjusting the hair tint didn't seem to do much.

Amateur photoshop. Despite attractive layout and streamlined interface, styles are extremely limited, and the ones available are extremely poor quality. An first time photoshop user could surpass the quality and options available. Not worth any money, though a nice time killer for a solid 2 minutes if it were free.

Save your dollar!. If you're looking to try on new hairstyles before going to a stylist, stay away from this app. The hair looks fake, it's impossible to position, and the colors are far from practical.

Very disappointing. You have no way of getting rid of your original hair in the photos, so you just have this virtual wig plopped on your hair. There are no instructions and mysterious comments pop up about removing tattoos. Not to mention, they have absolutely no hairstyles for black or interracial people!

Ok, but too soon.. Couple of things need to change. Let me adjust the hight and width instead of just the size. Let me change the color of the hair and beard. The color change option is useless.

Make Yourself Look Stupid. Making Yourself Look Stupid is about all this app is good for or if you want to revisit the punk era. Why don't the designers find some realistic hair examples to offer rather than silly bed-head and spiky looking mops?

Could have been cute . . .. . . . but it isn't. The hair is so badly drawn that it's stupid at best. It wouldn't have been difficult to make the hair more realistic or even real. This is just a lazy effort.

Does Not Work On iPhone 5. Piece of crap. Trying to use "Any Tool" crashes the app. Adjustments poor. Just throw a dollar out an open window and get more satisfaction than you will with this poorly designed "app". (Using the term loosely ).

No functional value. I got this to try out facial hair looks but the application of the hair to your face is off. It's too big for my head in most cases even after taking different pictures, and it just looks silly. Fun maybe to play around with but I got it for functional purposes so I have to give it a 1.
