Only portrait view? Really?. Just paid $3.99 for ad free version. Disappointed... it works but not worth the $4. besides a small ad being removed from the bottom of the screen, you get absolutely nothing more by paying. $3.99 is a lot to pay for a very simple app. The map is small, even with ads removed. It's hard to see the info at the top of the screen. THERE IS NO LANDSCAPE MODE. You can't turn your phone sideways to enlarge screen. How do I get my $$ back?? Decent app but developer needs to improve layout greatly. (Only gave four stars so ppl would read and be warned)

Railroad Crossing Survey. This app is great for the work I do when working on railroad grade crossing inventory for submission into the Federal Railroad Addministration grade crossing data base. The longitude and latitude is always right on the money. Great app!

Finds where you are. It does what it says, but nothing special beyond that. Best feature is giving approximate address. I'd like to be able to enter coordinates, or touch the map and show the coordinates elsewhere.

Too small. Great app, but wish i could swipe away the longitude and latitude to get a larger map. Otherwise great. I got this app when I was on a train, that didn’t announce the stops. Was traveling from Florida to New York, and I always knew where I was. Great for that.

Very Useful, Display Enhancement Needed. Very useful and easy app, especially since it includes Elevation data. But the display needs improvements, including making the location data more readable (larger, better contrast), and landscape mode. Those improvement will make this a five-star app for me!

Fire Fighter who does wildland needs accuracy. This app rocks, I always check with topos etc, and this puts me spot on

Surprisingly accurate. I live way out in the country and it can get my location down to the correct address! Worth it

The best. I work in the log and woods and I've used Google earth and everything else this app just works every time

This is the greatest thing since. sliced bread for simply identifying your current location. For long range navigational applications this can be very handy to get you in the direction you need to go. When you get close to your destination you switch to the maps app. This is really kind of a neat app as long as you have GPS capability.

Extremely useful.. More than worth a few ads.

Like app very much. Lithe app very much as I can e- mail or Tex from app wherever I am. Family loves to know and can see from app or google any time👍

Good but?. Comes in handy with my job. I paid 3.99 to remove ads but the bar with the ads were at still remanded. But that’s my only complaint.

Handy when traveling!. Sometimes I just want to know exactly ‘where I’m at’! This app tells me quickly.

Love this app. I was in CO last week looking at areas where I want to relocate from TX. Many times I kept finding myself asking “where am I?”. I googled that statement and found this app. It was awesome. No matter where I was, I clicked the app and it told me. I have to believe it was right.

Great for saving map points. I love it. I use it constantly to copy my coordinates to emails or notepad. Only downside is I got a phone with a small screen and the banner almost covers the copy button.

Can’t Text Location Anymore. I used to be able to text (share) my location with friends showing all the details, but the area that had the share button is now covered by an ad. Must now pay $3.99 to remove the ad. Dirty and dangerous trick, in my opinion.

Extremely Useful!. I am amazed how often I use this app to get a broader perspective view of my location. It just works every time and does exactly what it says it will do. And it is very easy and intuitive to use.

WhereAmIAt? Could be a life saver!. Good to have in an emergency! I like the text and Copy to clipboard features but would like to see direct shortcuts to those on the main interface as opposed to putting them under a nondescript Share button. Interface display options would be nice for my tired eyes, like a high contrast option with bigger fonts. This would be a 5 Star app with an improved interface. As is, it’s still a good app with excellent intentions! Could be a life saver!

Where am I at?. Still trying to find me. Latitude and longitude seem reasonable, address moves around quite a bit. Elevation is not even close running from -7 to 28 feet. Should be around 42 feet.

Okay. This app is okay. It is very helpful, I went on a trip with school and told me the address of where I was. It is very helpful if you don’t know where you are!

TE CH HELP!. I really like using the app. I am visually impaired and I agree with one of the other reviews that said the text is very small and you can’t stretched it to make it larger. What I end up doing is taking a screenshot of it and looking at it in my photos, which is the only way I can read the text without making it larger. is there any way that can be fixed for those of us with poor eyesight? PLEASE!!

Does exactly what is says it will do, quick & accurate. One of those things which do exactly what they are designed to do, no bells and whistles, just a very effective way to locate yourself.

Amazing. Extremely convenient and fast, shows you City, State, Country, Longitude, Latitude, and Altitude, even your address if you're home or anywhere else

Excellent app. I live in a retirement community and it is so nice to know that I can be located wherever I may be. Thanks for giving me a sense of security when I am out and about.

What have you done????. My work depends on accuracy. Your os 10 version has lost it. The altitude via my os 9 reads,correctly, 55 feet. With version 10 it first said 226 feet and then 9 feet! This is without me moving off of my spot. The address guess was off by half a mile.

Will come handy. Seems like this will be a handy app and it could bed a life saver in an emergency when I need to send my location to someone. I do wish the satellite pics were more up to date and trust the maps are current. I will pay for the paid version to support development.

Bolder Fonts. Very accurate app easy to use Latitude and longitude font is way too small to read and should be Boulder and brighter to be read easier it would be nice to be able to save your location I am using an iPhone 11

Wrong location. The address identified is actually across the street from my location. Close but not accurate.

Best App. Amazed at how accurate this app is. Love the fact that it gives you the altitude. Highly recommend.

Best. Best app ever to find out exactly where you are if you can’t see any address on house or buildings when looking for a address

Needs revision. The free version is worth every penny I didn’t spend on it. I’m more interested in the map locations more than the longitudes and latitudes just as the most people are. That section takes up way too much screen space. The paid version should give a much larger map with the option of seeing L/L’s, imho.

Wish. Wish that it could turn a location into an address location in my contacts.

Praises for the app. It's fast and above all very accurate. Long and lat mean a lot to me as a volunteer rescue worker, paramedic and former 911 director. The views are also very nice. Thanks for a great app.

Small window. The screen is mostly of unusable gps information while the map area is tiny.

Top notch!. Great when traveling. Gives a good perspective and exact location when you kind of lose track.

Works Every Time. I'm an over the road truck driver. When I'm stopped, and I want to know where I am, I tap on Where Am I At. I always know where I am. When my co driver is behind the wheel, I'll bring up the app from the sleeper, and I know where I am instantly. It uses map, satellite image or both. It even gives you latitude and longitude. Want to know your exact location? Where Am I At will tell you.

Was and still is great. I have had this app for quite some time... no address, well where am I will give the coordinates which is great.

No benefit for payment. The visual map area on my iPhone is quite small. A lot of space was taken up as a white block with a suggestion to subscribe to remove ads. After buying, the suggestion text was removed, but the white block remained. So my, small, visible area is the same.

Overall, it is a okay app. But the text is relatively small for my eyes and I can't change the size. I couldn't read them without a reading glasses.

Awful and vague. Very slow especially when comparing to the competition. Doesn't not even get the location right while running the competiton at the same time, they get it right. Uninstalled.

Very useful for UBER & Lyft drivers.. Works nicely after passengers dropped off to ascertain Drivers exact location.

Quick, Correct, Complete. All the info you need to know where you're at and it comes up quickly. Best part is, the app is named something you can easily recall in a second in an emergency. I have other location apps and can't remember there names when I need them. This app is more than worth the paid price.

I like this app. So many places have no number on them. Certainly has saved me enough gas to pay for the app.

Works ok. It works ok. Not great. My chief complaint is that you can’t change your location when the gps gets it wrong. It wont allow me to type in my home address, for example, when the app is incorrect.

Love it. Love the app Use it frequently when traveling. I can keep family updated on exactly where I’m at. Really like the elevation feature. Only thing I wish was different, wish it didn’t have to be manually refreshed. Great app though. Highly recommend!

Yeah- not good.. You pay for no ads and a “bigger map”. Well, the no ads is accurate. Does the map part have to eat so many Big Macs before it gets “bigger”? Still waiting on the bigger map part. Not as advertised.

Make the map bigger. Works well except the map is a small bit of the screen and cannot be made bigger so that you can see surroundings to be able to orient your position. Needs to be a way to switch to full screen and back.

Very handy. I use it to obtain location an then go back to the office and look at Google Earth to make plans for farm property developments. Even worked in West Africa with no cell coverage.

Where am I at app. The screen Map size is presently less than 30% and renders it useless. The GPS data presentation should be reduced and the Google Ads also minimizes it’s use and should be removed. Most people will never use this app. It was quite useful when the app was first launched and deteriorated since then rendering useless. So Fix the it.

Pointless going pro. It works just fine Paid to remove ads but the bar is still there... annoying I don't consider that expanded maps

Handy. I find this app extremely handy when letterbox dropping to show me where I left the car

Camp sights.. Great app, would like it better if I could press a save button and keep camp sites for later reference.

Crashing on start up. It would have been a great tool, but just as I start up it crashes straight away. Lucky that at least I have about a second or two to quickly tale a screen shot from it, so at least I get the coordinates. Shame really.

Lowerlighter. This was a great app for awhile. Pulled it up recently to check my position. A tiny hard-to-read map came up. And a statement said for a bigger map buy their upgrade. That's possible I thought. Or I could just use another app. I'll get back to you...

Why. I fail to see the value of this app over the Maps app in iOS. The Maps app loads quickly and can tell you your street address and let you copy it to the clipboard.

frustrated. after opening for the first time the lat longs stayed at my original position. Opening the app after this didn't change my location at all and didn't update the lat longs. Waste of time if you don't know where you are. Please fix

Zipperdidodah. Only tells me " Where I'm at" when I'm at home!.....Amazingly I know where I am when at home!!! No wi-fi no worky. Would love to have it up an running, seems it could be great......eventually.

Great App. Provides a rich information for the current location, loved it.

Nearly useful. This is the only app I can find that allows me to copy lats and longs into a spreadsheet. Unfortunately these data are not stored in fixed width fields so it is impossible to save them in a consistent format. Please record 7 mins as 07 mins - that would make a world of difference. It also needs a refresh button to update the last and longs.

Missed one thing. Good App , hopefully all functions here work without need internet

Keeps shutting down. Unstable and too slow. Shuts down before showing map or location. Decides the inappropriate zoom at all times. Basically a very poor app

Good but a problem. This app loads quickly and is very accurate so helpful if lost. However it never finds the address, just sits there saying it is finding it! Not helpful if you need to know the exact address of where you are...

Where am I. FANTASTIC! Especially for the traveller in a foreign country. Especially good because you can zoom in and out from your own street sight to surrounding streets far and wide. Great for working out best way to get to a destination in unfamiliar areas. Used it all the time in Australia and now I am Indonesia I use it almost every day!

Where am I. It's a good application, especially for good eyesighted people. A zoom in that stays on would get 5 stars from me.

This app has been invaluable for me; as someone who does fieldwork and requires coordinates and a map marking to record locations, it's as easy as opening the app and taking a screenshot. Would be extra awesome if you could build this feature in (screenshot with time and date), but otherwise it does exactly what it's meant to, and well! Thanks so much for a great app!

Love it.. What else can I say? I love it. Imagine that you are lost in a remote location and you're life is in real danger. Now imagine how good it would be to have the ability to quote your exact location to Emergency Services. Literally a potential life saver.

Was a great app. This was a great app, now it doesn't work. My car broke down on a dirt back road today and the app wouldn't stay open long enough for me to find where I was to tell RACV lucky they found me. Crashes almost immediately.

Email function. I like the app but the email sharing function does not work all the time. Please fix.

No instructions no way to start from finding location. All I see is what I get on a dozen other apps..no way to so more than scoot around and zoom in to anyplace ...well google earth did that and it has better satellite at a by ar. Now about the ability to reset location as right now it does not have mine and one a not reset it to look again..it is obvious but the app does not have ANY reset?

Update to my review! Just installed the update crashes after a few seconds! Please help !. See below for my updated review: As a rural fire/rescue officer, I use this app to quickly get coordinates for dispatch. The google satellite view is a lifesaver. An update position button would be a plus. Well all my apps that used google sat. View are ruined and worthless now that apple has changed the maps feature. What was a very helpful app has no purpose anymore. Apple fix this and go back to google or let us choose!!! Well to add insult to injury.... After having to reset my phone after upgrading to iOS 6 the app crashes constantly. Very close to removing the app.

It's OK. Great concept and nice layout but crashes 50% of the time.. It shows you on a map where you are located but it doesn't always get the physical address right. Most of the time, it freezes while trying to get your physical address. It definitely needs an update to fix the bugs, crashes and for better accuracy.

Wher an I. I think this app is good but it doesn't really tell you where you are most of the time so If you are going to depend on this app it will let you down or even get you last.

Crashes on 3GS. I think the app is great but it crashes after about 10 seconds. No time to write down coordinates.

Fantastic App. I love this app I use it all the time. I take uber and the dumb uber app can never actually find where I am. I saw this app out of the others that didn't work and I tried it and it worked amazingly. Also I was hiking and I got completely lost and it was about 8 pm and I used where am I at and found out I was right next to my house, but on a different side lol.

the ads are EXTREMELY annoying!!. works ok but the ads take up a quarter of the screen and they are constantly changing. it's EXTREMELY distracting and I stopped using this app for that reason alone. get rid of the ads and I would gladly pay for this app.

Good but Need a find me button in the app. 1. Need a locate me button. Once I move the map view, to another country, I cannot find where I am again except to exit and relaunch the app. 2. A drop pin function and provide longitude and latitude of marked pin. 3 Or provide co-ordinate of center of map view would also be useful. Easily find location from lat and long using "Maps" or "Google Map"

Why an Add?. I think this is an excellent app but I don't know why I should have to get an add on a app that I have paid for. What the heck is that all about? Not happy with that.

Impressive. This is incredibly accurate with co-ordinates, and user friendly. The compass on iPhone was so far off with the numbers I had to find another alternative for locating my position and this is the best one. Only downside you gotta pay $2.99 if you wanna get rid of the irritating ads.

Not for me. Installed it and had malware Asking for me to ok it for a free iPhone if I tested an iphone7. Deleted the app and removed from my safari cache. Make your own choice.

I'm here!. So I know where I am...others apps tell me where I am and a lot more.

Needs Option to Display Easting & Northing. Canadian Topo maps are all metric and the grid lines are all 1 km apart and the grid lines are all using datum NAD 83 and old ones in NAD 27. The Lat and Long lines are not on the map, only the edges. Therefore this App has no value. Please add the conversion option. PS Canadian maps are so much easier to use than US ones when navigating by compass in the bush. Only use GPS to confirm that I am where I think I am. Still waiting for the update

Whereamiat. Opened about 10 times and it crashed each time after approx 11 seconds. Deleted and reinstalled. Tried again several times and it crashed after exactly 11 seconds each time. Please fix. it could be too good to abandon.

Free but useless. What's the point? I don't see where this is useful.

Found. Location is great. Altitude is bad. I was at 209 ft high and I walked twenty feet across a floor and I was at 700 ft.

Within 200ft. Shows location within two hundred feet. Good for not knowing where you are but not exactly where you are, but it’s what ya get for free

I fell for free for short time!. The Apple store add said Free. So I though that meant free- oh no you have to pay nearly $4 to remove adds. That was misleading and wrong. FREE MEANS FREE. I will be deleting this I really don’t care how great it is. A company that misrepresented its product does not deserve reinforcement!

Saved me. Locked my keys outta my car. Used the app to quickly find the address for the locksmith!

Great App. Very handy when traveling or out for a Sunday afternoon ride. Next project is to test on large acreage boundaries.

Location is OFF. The location is off ALOT OF THE TIME!For the location of my address is NOT RIGHT ALOT OF THE TIME.

Where am I?. Very good, precise and reliable, the hybrid should be colored or more detailed.

Not fully functional with iOS 11.2.1. The email option has no way to send an email or back out without force closing the app. Dev makes contact and feedback difficult.
