The best for trying out wall paint. No idea why this gets poor reviews. It is worth every cent. This was the only app (I tried many!) that accurately coloured my walls and was smart enough to compensate for shadows etc. I also LOVE the colour picker feature- I can snag a colour from a photo, or just type in my RGB values etc. I loved that it was so intuitive- automatically saving my custom photos and allowing me to grab a larger or smaller paint area with ease. Seriously, if your goal is to test paint on your walls, this is the best app for you.

Don't do it!. This is not a good tool to purchase if you are seriously trying to paint your home. You can get the same effect from taking a picture, putting it on your computer and using the paint program. This app is not worth your time or money

Would be great if..... Would be great if I could actually finish a project on it before it crashes every single time. I’ve tried at least a dozen times. What a shame. I’m happy that it wasn’t an expensive app.

Very cool. Very cool app. Would have given a 5 but didn't cuz their color selection couldn't give me brown colors. Will have to play with it when I can tape my color onto wall.

No problems, great idea.. I think this was a great idea for an app. I had no problems with it and found it easy to use. It really gives you a good idea of what a new color would look like on your walls.

Good. It works great. It also crashes frequently, and you can't retrieve your works. They need to fix this problem by adding a last work reload option.

Great app for color challenged. I have such a hard time visualizing what color will look best. This is a great app for people like me.

Quite amazing.. This is quite an amazing little app! My wife is painting in our house and this app can give her an idea of what the paint colors might look like on the walls before buying the paint. Very simple concept, and put together nicely.

Do not buy. Crashes in the middle of work and not way to resume your work even when it doesn't crash.

Terrible colors. This does not come close to reading true colors from a painted wall. OK I guess if you like 50 shades of grey.

Worst app ever. This app crashes and it doesn't save your work. It is a complete waste of money. The free one was better. The masking tape option works way better on the free one then the pay one. I want my money back!!!!

Works great. Does exactly what it says. Not exactly scientific (as so many people seem to expect) but extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Don't buy. It only works if the original color is white, otherwise, the original color shows through the paint color. This's so more like a school project, not ready for prime time.

Very handy. We taped free swatches to the wall, took a photo with the phone, and then used this app to get a preview of what that color would look like all over the wall. Very cool.

Good concept, mediocre execution. This app has a great idea, but is too clumsy to use. The paint tools are somewhat confusing. The biggest problem is that you can't try different colors. I spent 10 minutes "painting" the walls of my living room with a color. Now I'd like to try a different color, BUT YOU CAN'T CHANGE COLORS. You basically have to start over again with a new color! No thanks.

Improvements. It's very very cool and useful. But after I put a color on the wall and then decide to paint a different wall a different color, I can't get back to the first color I picked on the first wall. Maybe a dropper tool would help for the colors I have already put onto a wall.

Quite useful and helpful. This app is actually quite useful, it allows you to test paints on walls before committing.

Simple, Fun, Helpful. This app is actually pretty sweet! Provides a simple and fun way to start visualizing a new look for the rooms in your home, office, etc. Great for people who can be indecisive (and who put home-improvement projects on hold out of fear of committing to a color.)

Nice. It's a great app to see which colors work well on your own walls. The only problem I have had is trying to get the color in the small areas.

Made deciding less of a hassle. 🎨. I'm not sure why all the cruddy reviews? But I have yet to test it out on the tacky 70’S paneling in the hallway & bedrooms. Until then I've got to give it a 4 star rating. It was was worth having for helping me make a firm decision something I don't do well, that alone gives it 3 stars the fourth is just because it's super easy to figure out and and just get it done!

Use it a lot.. I use it for designing uniform concepts...would like it if there were numbers or the ability to click in order to get precise recoloring.

Horrible. Good if you want to add paint all over the photo and sloppy. Will take hours to get a photo to paint properly and it doesn't even carry the lighting over from the original photo. Just puts blobs of color on top of photo.

Great App!. I just purchased this app and I love it. It is very easy to use and takes the guesswork out of selecting a paint color. I previously purchased a different app named wall painter, but it kept crashing and never worked right. This app is definitely worth the money.

This app is made to make life easy!. I use this app to design the outside of homes. It's very impressive!

Pretty good but poor color selections. It's cool how you can see how different colors will look on your walls but there isn't any brown. Also no good shades of green, only shades of lime. Very frustrating if you like colors like browns, grays, neutrals and earth tones.

Better than paint samples. Easy to use and much faster than going to the paint store and trying to choose chips.

Awesome!!. Love this! Using it to try and figure out what color to paint our house. I wish there was stone option. I'm thinking of painting the top and putting a stone veneer on the bottom. If that were here this app would be even more spectacular!

Don't buy this app!. This would be a great app, if it worked. I would spend a long time creating a painted wall and the app just closes. It's very frustrating when you pay for something and it doesn't work, Don't buy this app!

Neat App. This app is really cool. I'm impressed at how well it works when trying new paint colors on my walls. It has helped me eliminate colors I thought would work. And, it has helped me lean towards the right colors for my room. It does take a bit of work to get it just right, but in the end it's worth it. I would recommend this app for anyone contemplating on changing their paint colors in any room or anywhere. Try it out, it's super cool!

Usefull. Not bad at all. If you need fast idea for a room, this will work for you. Its easy to use. Very good.

Good app. This is a pretty good. Take the picture and work with it. I didn't have take a picture with my camera, transfer it to my computer, and then work with on Paint.

Artist/Teacher. For all the artists out there who have struggled with background colors for portraits or other subjects, this app is a must. Saves so much time and paint.

Works well need more options. This is great. Not to sure if you would get the colors exactly, but it will give you a great idea of at least what hue to use. Excellent job

App appears to be working now. Why haven't you updated this app yet . I am really annoyed about wasting $5.00 . Problems are photo won't load at all so hence rendering this app useless. Please fix or I will be wanting refund thank you . I am using the ipad, had to reinstall the app as it froze. I emailed support through the website and it was suggested to do this. It seems to be working now thankyou for such a quick response. So far so good. One suggestion though maybe a smaller paint brush tip or smart paint would be good. thanks again for your quick response.

Good app.. Works well but could use some work. It crashes every 15 - 20 min, so save those big projects and you'll save yourself a lot of frustration. Maybe they should have called it paint crasher. I can't figure out the difference between the free version and the paid one, there is absolutely no difference. Stick to the free version.

Handy but imprecise. More work than one would hope to get edges right. Wish I could drag brush rather than guessing the spot to touch. Cookout matching is always dicey. But still it's handy and works.

Excellent. Works very well to give you a good idea of what the wall would look like with the new paint colour. I took a picture of the colour I wanted on the wall and it matched it perfectly. Easy to use.
