Amazing. It is a great app, and I'm Greek Orthodox so I know what I'm talking about. Maybe you could add a feature in an update where it's in Greek. And you person who said Greek is not the language of North America, well DUH! But it's for GREEK Orthodox Christians!

Great. This makes it easy to keep up on daily scripture as well as feast and fast days. Thank you for such a great app!

Great For Orthodox Christians. Very easy to use, but would like to see landscape mode capability and icons to match Saint of the day. Orthodox Christianity is the church founded by Christ. It spread to people of may languages, so I would support having as many languages possible available on this app.

Finally!. I've been waiting for an English version of this for a while now. It's wonderful! I only have one recommendation - make a section where you can see a month at a time in order to view blocks of fasting periods, maybe color coded to show strict fast, wine day, fish day, etc. thanks!

Terrific! Download this now!. I'm delighted that the GO Church of America has made this app available. This is perfect for all Orthodox Christians. I previously received the daily readings via email, but this is an ideal and preferred medium. You can even dial up the prayers and Saints of the day for any date. Now I'd love to see the Church release an Orthodox prayer book app.

Great Update, One Small Bug. I love the app! Thanks for the great iPad update. There is one small bug that I noticed. When I clicked the Today button on the calendar, tomorrow's date was highlighted in light blue; however, all of the information beneath the calendar was still right for today's date. It is 10:30 PM here in California. Maybe it has something to do with a time zones?

Orthodox payer app. This application is very useful. It has help me keep my rule of prayer during the day. As the day goes on the appropriate prayer is brought onto the screen. Weatherby morning or midnight. The daily readings were also there. It is very easy to use. This is an excellent application.

Great app. The app is great but every time I install It the app changes picture from the cross to the picture of my NYC way App on clicking the app I go straight to Daily readings it's just the app picture That changes. A Great App For Any Orthodox Christian. This app is a wonderful resource for Orthodox Christians, especially in the USA. The highlights of this app are its daily scripture readings, as well as the Synaxarion (saints of the day). Many of the glitches, such as the updating problem in later versions, have been fixed. In terms of anything wrong or missing from the app, nothing seems to be glaringly obvious. This is a great app, and since it is free, why not get it? Every Orthodox Christian with an iOS device should get this app.

Helps Me Be A Better Greek Orthodox. Having been raised in a devout, strict Greek Orthodox home I left the church for many years until my first daughter was born. I reluctantly began attending services regularly, then gradually matured to appreciate, understand,then love our Lord and church traditions. This app provides me solace, comfort and encouragement to best serve others while expanding my understanding of prayer for life events and daily worship. The app does contain a flaw that is truly bothersome. Each prayer ends with "content is under copyright and used with permission, all rights reserved"...few words to the app developers or those that believe they own any aspect of our church - each word and prayer emanates from a bible that is a gift to all with an open copyright for anyone to copy or share or distribute. Thank you for sharing the Lord's work!

Daily readings. Great for traveling. Love the feature for showing days of fast. Our parish priest sends us the daily readings along with a psalm and thought for the day. But it will be great to use everyday.

New update bug. After downloading the new update the app no longer opens on my iPhone 4S. I restarted the phone, uninstalled the app then reinstalled it, but it still does not open. Please fix!!

The Greek Orthodox Faith. I love to use this app during great lent. I read the gospel and epistle every day. This is a great way to introduce people to the Greek Orthodox faith. ADVICE: This app should be free! You do not have to pay to go to church do you? You do not have to pay to read the bible do you? You do not have to pay to pray. This is why you should not have to pay for the full version of this app.

Wonderful!. I am an Orthodox Christian in Mississippi and I attend an OCA church. This app is helping me keep up with the daily readings better than I was before. Please keep updating the saints. Also i would love to just simply see more orthodox apps! Do you think you could do that?! Many years!

Not working now. This app was great, through yesterday. This morning, it will not load—screen starts to load and then it suddenly clears and returns to main phone screen. I have tried clearing from app-switcher, also restarting my phone, same result. Then I uninstalled it and then tried reinstalling, and it still will not load. Please fix this app so it will load and work.

Greek???. Someone said it must be in Greek language? It's put out by the GO Archdiocese of AMERICA! Greek is not the language of America- North or South. There is no reason for it to be in Greek. Sorry buddy.

Awesome app!. I think this application is awesome. Not only does it give you the scripture and epistle for the day, but it also gives you information about fasting and saints of the day. Totally cool! The format is simple and easy to use! The colors and graphics are also pleasant. You can look ahead or back to days you've missed using the cool calendar option too! Fantastic. I really love this app and the way it makes reading the scripture convenient in my busy life. I would recommend this to any Orthodox Christian.

Very useful app!. I find this app very helpful in my daily walk with God. I enjoy having the Scripture readings and Saints availble so handily. However, since the last update it does not automatically forward to the current date.

EPIC!!!. It's so easy to use and gives you do much information that is often forgotten due to the time it used to take to find. The only thing I'd like to see added to this is the option to search for feast days. I love this app!

Not functioning well. This app doesn't work very well. I'm stuck on March 1st, 2010 and cannot get any of the daily information.

So?. Am Orthodox but not Greek, so if I was both, would the app work? Matter of fact both this and the paid app do not work! Luckily I have the OSB. But I sure would like these two to work as well.

Great Daily Church Reading App. This app of daily church readings and prayers is a great accompaniment for Bible study or when you’re on the go. I use it often.

Good, but..... Good resource but would be great if user could "share" and send links to all readings via email , text, or other tool. This improvement needed to share the Good News!

Crashes. Love this app. Was working perfect for a few months and now today 31/12/23 it just crashes when trying to open it. It just keeps closing. I went and paid for the full version and the same thing happens. Please fix if this is an iOS issue.

Use of the word " lite" upon the holy orthodox icon of the cross is atrocious and should stop immediately..I have emailed the developers, but to no avail...I have uninstalled this application...I'm hoping they will change their minds at some future date...a beautiful program has been diluted and now tattooed with something which goes against the orthodox faith...0 stars

Was working well. Not anymore. This app was working well. I was using it daily on my iPhone 13. It does not work anymore (since yesterday).

More Saints’ Lives!. I like this app and use it every day but I would really appreciate if there was more saints stories and icons included. Most of them just have the name and then are blank. If there is more saints lives in the paid version I would get that, but I don’t see anything about that.

Take. This app allows me attend to my spiritual life at any time of the day or night and in any location. It is wonderful.

Orthodoxy Lives Via Technology. I must say I like this app. I used to use it daily and stopped using it for awhile. I am interested in the "paid" version and will get it. I would suggest/advise not to charge for it. Think about today's youth. They will most likely not pay for a .99 theological app. We should make this free to everyone. The Archdiocese gets plenty of money from all of the churches in North America. I would also highly recommend putting a church search option by a user entering a zip code so they can see what "Greek Orthodox Church" is closest to them while traveling, whether it is a business trip or not. Also somewhere on the app I would consider a stewardship section so that people, especially the youth, can get better acquainted on how this may benefit and preserve Orthodoxy.

Fantastic App for Orthodox Christians. This is a wonderful app and a much appreciated service given to us by the Greek Archdiocese. Many, many thanks for providing such a useful resource in today's increasingly electronic world. With that said, if I may make two suggestions to consider for future updates, should the Department of Internet Ministries proceed to work on an update: (1) the ability to append notes to the readings and (2) images of icons when available. Thank you!

Finally, what I've been looking for!. UPDATE: I'd like to request one error correction to the app. When changing the date using the scrolling months and number "wheels", the date you select is always off by one day, when you return to the main screen. This forces you to select the wrong day to get the correct day. It's pretty obvious and is likely just a minor coding error. This free app packs a lot of Orthodox Christian information into one unassuming package. The nice thing is that if you just click on the Bible verse, it pops right up in the app itself. No need to go hunting it down elsewhere. Same thing for the lives of the Saints. Just click on their name, and their life pops up in the app. This is wonderful for those on the go, traveling, etc, or where taking the Bible along with you is not an option or inconvenient. Thank you for all the work you've put into this wonderful app!
