Goes to filters I don't choose.... I like what I getwhen I can choose. But when I try to go to the last set of filters, it jumps me back to the first set of filters after putting a filter from the last set on my picture- one I didn't choose. Can't use the last set at all- just jumps out of it. Will see what I can do, but it's frustrating.

One of the best photo apps out there!. Although this app is very specific in its genre, it is one of the most powerful photo apps you can find anywhere! The previews are immediate, adjustments infinite and the choices of overlays, borders, antique, vintage scene and textures are astounding. For filmmakers looking to create authentic reproductions of old photos: this app is unbeatable. Definitely one of my 'go to' apps and in my top three of all time. Get it!

Great Apps.. Most of the apps. I had on my iPod Touch, it really sucked and freeze up a lot. Now that I have a iPhone now, all those same apps. That was slow on my iPod, now are fast on my iPhone. Cool apps.

Looooooove it!. Buy it! You won't regret it!!!!!!! I wish we had an upload to Flickr & more however (I only c FB, mail, or save) Can use on sleazy taken pics!

Vintage Scene. I love this app!! For those that like an authentic hand tinted look to your photos, this is the perfect app. I get all kinds of compliments on the photos I have used this app on. It is truly one of my most used....highly recommend!!

Great retro fx.. Simple to use. Super-fast rendering. Lots of options. Beautiful results in just a few seconds and even better if you take more time to experiment. Some photos work better than others. Clear instructions are provided, but it's an intuitive app. Thanks.

Adjustable vintage effects. At first it appears that the effects are too strong; but you adjust parameters under the different buttons after choosing an initial filter. You can also save your edits as a new preset by clicking home icon then share and then save as preset.... I like the papers and frames and toning. You can get a old vintage or more retro effect by experimenting.

Love this app. I have enjoyed working with this app. I do not have issues with crashing or having to reboot. I take my artwork and change the way it looks...a lot of fun and addicting.

One of my main apps. Full res, too.. I use this app often for vintage looks. Easy to use. They took away one of the textures from the previous version, which was my fave. I hope they offer more subtle, portrait-friendly effects in the future.

Spectacular. I am by no means a photographer nor a computer wiz, but with this app I can appear to be. It is so easy to use even someone with little knowledge of photography and computer programs can make beautiful antiqued images. There is even the ability to tweak the effects and customize them yourself if you are more savvy with that way of doing things than I am. I fully recommend this app for people that want historic looking photos.

Too many glitches and too big of an App for IPhone. Very difficult app to even download as its way too big for IPhone to support even with the new 5 out. You can only download this app through the I Tunes store as its too big to download on the IPhone itself. Getting it to even synch and download on the IPhone after purchacing it in ITunes is extremely difficult. Have never seen an app take this long to download. Been waiting almost 4 hours for the download. Deleting this app perminantly. Quite dissapointed. Can do much better in Photoshop.

Could be five stars. But not yet. It crashes every photo. I think when they get the bugs worked out, this will be a very fine addition to Jixi's line of apps. It's a very promising app, but I'd like to see some things besides the bug fixes – such as, a paintbrush and mask. For instance, I'd like to be able to mask the eyes of my cat, so that they are either unaffected -or have slider so that you can control the amount of the effect you want to apply. This is the one big thing missing from all Jixi apps that I can think of – and my own most of them. You don't have a paint brush/Mask capability, so that you can interact with your photos more. Having said that, Jixi will have another winner in this one when they update the bugs out of it.

Useful. Not only are the effects convincing, but they are subject to almost infinite variation within the larger choices. If you want an antique look, you won't find an app better equipped to let you express yourself.

Highly Recommend this App!. I have a lot of photo apps that I use that are mediocre at best. So happy to have found this one! You can really get creative and step back in time with your photos! Enjoy!

Photoshop Plugin On the Go!. As a Photoshop professional, when I sit down to create the same effects I get with Vintage Scene, I use some pretty expensive plugins. I get the exact same quality of photo manipulation in this app on my iphone, on the go, that I can get sitting at my computer 3X longer. There are so many choices you can make, colors to change, amount of effect, and saving it to my PhotoStream, I have the image at home when I get there. One of the coolest things is taking images on my computer and uploading them on PhotoStream to manipulate when I'm bored waiting in line at the post office. This a great app, and I'm recommending it to all my friends! If I could give it 10 stars I would!!!

Beautiful, Believable Results. Anyone looking to believably stress and age digital photos with a variety of presets as well as manual adjustments cannot go wrong giving this app consideration. Some of the treatments may be suitable for printing, though I have not tried that. To date I’ve not encountered any glitches; the app has, so far, performed flawlessly. An excellent value.

Cannot access my photos. I have used this app a lot but suddenly I cannot access my photos. I’ve reached out to the developers but haven’t received a response. I actively and successfully use other apps by the same developer. I wondered if it was an iPad issue but the app won’t even load onto my iPhone.

Lots of vintage options!. I've been messing with this for a few weeks on and iPhone 6 and been getting exactly what I wanted in terms of old photo looks added easily to my preexisting shots.

Bravo!. This tool produces a truly authentic, vintage look to a photograph. Fine tuning the selected effect is easy and fast, as well. I love using this app, and the results are stunning!

Excellent app!. I have a few different apps that accomplish the same task. This app just seems way easier to use and gives you more control over the final output. Love it! I think I can delete a couple of apps off of my phone and replace it with this one.

Just right. I was looking for an app to turn a picture of myself into a picture from the Civil War. I'm going to be a Civil War reenactor for Gettysburg's 150th anniversary and this was perfect!

Love it!. This really adds that old vintage feel to any photo. I have a lot of photo apps but none like this. Nice! It's a great app and love it!

Wonderful. My preferred app for applying vintage effects to my photos. Wish the rendering time was a little faster, but the final effects are worth the wait.

Nice app-needs a bit of tweaking. I find that it does have a lot of variety it just needs an option that lets you reduce the size of the borders of the effects as most effects don’t work well if the image comes to close to the border of the picture as it blurs out the faces. As it stands now the photo’s have to be taken zoomed out otherwise things don’t look as good

Fantastic. Lots of great filters that have additional adjustments- just what I was looking for and at a great $3 price tag (and no subscription).

Awesome photo app!!!. Within seconds, you can instantly alter your photos to look almost as old as a weathered Civil War photo or any 100+ year old photo that has not been carefully stored. You can edit each filter individually or have fun with the random filter selection (my favorite for on-the-fly effects.) Try with interesting architecture or historic landmarks. You can adjust the amount of effects too.

Loaded with effects. This app is generous with options and produces pictures you would swear were found in your great-grandmother's attic.

Awesome app. I’ve always loved vintage photography. This app gives you a chance to turn your favorite picture into a work of art. Simple to use and yes ver addictive 👍🏼

Nice Effects, But Kills Quality.. Like so many of these cool looking photo FX applications, Vintage Scene, drastically reduces an imported image's quality. I just loaded an image to edit in the app that started off as 3.3mb in overall file size. When I was done editing and had saved my photo, the overall file size was reduced to a very small 400kb and something. That instantly lets me know that somewhere during rendering and saving the app is really stripping away a ton of qualIty from my original image. If anything, it should be doing the opposite in my opinion and increasing the file size. I just cannot understand why so many developers of these types of applications engineer their saving process so that it kills image quality. I just don't get the need to make the program want to do that. So, I recommend this application if losing image quality isn't a big deal and you like having cool vintage filters to play around with. But, I really would hope and ask the developer to please fix this app so that it doesn't reduce quality when exporting please, thank you.

AMAZING!!!. I just bought this app a few minutes ago and can't believe how well it works! This is has top-of-the-line effects, is simple to use, and produces fantastic results. I honestly can't believe how inexpensive it is for the quality it creates!

Great App. After going thru so many so-so apps, this one rings my bell. Very intuitive, effects are well marked for ease of use..... and it's fun!! It's the best money I've spent in the app store in a long time.

Fun way to be creative. Takes the hard work out of darkroom trickery and digital artistry, but hey... For on-the-fly photo fun that looks truly vintage in that old, eerie, found in a cobwebby attic footlocker kinda way this is a must-have app. Highly recommended.

Vintage scene. I just purchased this!!! Auuuuggg it shuts dwn and doesn’t upload any of my photos. 😡 I’d like a refund.

Cool effects but crashes 4 out of 5 saves. I like the effects but after spending all the time getting it just right it can't even save or share the photo. I finally got one to save without a crash but I keep losing everything I work on. iPhone 5 with plenty of memory but constantly crashes and loses my work.

Great. One of my favorite apps I use it as much or more then the camera app that came with the phone. Ok, I use it more because I take all those normal images and run them through Vintage.

One of my favorite apps!. This app is lots of fun. Great for making the photo you took today on your iPhone look like it was taken 100 years ago.

Simply the Best. A truly fantastic app with a huge array of adjustable vintage filters. I've been using it for a year and I've still been unable to find a similar app that doesn't suffer by comparison.

Useful app.. Canned filters that can be modified ad infinitum to create original effects or develop a unique personal style. If I could get this level of functionality out of my Mac Pro… Recommended.

A joy to use. I'm a BIG FAN of all things JixiPix and it's surprising that no one has taken the time to applaud their efforts! This is one of my all time go to apps when I need that final tweak to a piece of work. Thanks for all the work that goes into all your apps...I will continue to be a devoted fan!

Possibly the best of it's kind. This is by far one if the best apps of its kind, but for some reason isn't as well known as others. Complete creative control over the results. The results are brilliant and beautiful. Excellent!

You should prompt people about the iPad version!. I bought this app for my iPhone without realizing that there was a separate -- and more expensive -- iPad version available. In my opinion, you should either make one app that's compatible with both or specifically prompt people to choose which version they want. I've wasted $1.99 on this and can't exchange it for the version I want now.

Fun App!. I have used this app for a few years now and love playing with it! However, for some reason have never printed the pictures out! I am going to print them out into a book. I hope they print well!

Lots. Lots of filters, lots of variations, lots of ability to adjust the results. And -- at least with photos that originated in your phone -- it doesn't shrink them. (I haven't tried it yet with the huge photos from my DSLR)

Love this app. I bought this app a couple of years ago, but haven't used it in a while. The changes in the user interface don't seem quite as intuitive as I remember and I had trouble maintaining my paper selection. It seemed to be picking a random paper whenever I rendered. I finally got it, but not sure exactly what I did! Still, it offers a lot of options to age your photos. I have several photo apps and I return to this one most often.

Old photo not old scene. What I expected and wanted from this app was to get a vintage looking scene, but instead I get an emulation of a faded looking photo of a vintage scene. I would like more of the vintage scene and less of the print defects.
