Perfect news app. I purchased the Times app and subscription 3 years ago and have not been disappointed. I like the easy-to-use format and especially enjoy the football coverage. Highly recommended.

Excellent, but just a bit pricey for foreign subscribers.. A fantastic app, but as a foreigner, and not something I look at everyday, the subscription is a bit pricey. I’m currently on a special deal, but not sure I’ll renew if the subs got back to what they were.

Post like articles together please. Update: Improved app, but please post all the same sports together. Right now you have to scan through the entire sports section to read all the (say) rugby articles. Very inefficient and frustrating. Nice way to read the times. However, the app and especially its interaction with the online version is very buggy. I experience numerous issues saving articles and fetching online links from within the app. Also, deleting saved articles often takes multiple attempts.

Impossible to download app. Have been a Subscriber through the App for years. Suddenly the App stopped working so deleted App and tried to reinstall, but now it is impossible to reinstall. Keep getting a bogus message about my Internet speed.

All about Perspective. As a traveling American, I view The Times as providing consistently substantive news and commentaries, that best reflect the thoughts and trends of the UK society. This app has been a welcome addition to my desktop and other Apple utensils. Especially, when I want to prioritize what is “really” happening in the world.

The best newspaper in the world. I have never had such an amazing experience reading an online version of a newspaper

A Foreign Perspective. In the 70s I spent 6 months in London doing doctoral research and read the Times every day. Now, back in the States I am delighted to read it again and get external perspectives on the U.S., our politics and our current issues. The Times also aids me in staying informed about the U.K. and Europe. Thanks for excellent reporting, great writing and a different look at the news. I remain a consistent fan.

Fabulous App. Can’t do without the The Times App. Fast download and great content. Crashes occasionally but is frequent enough not to cause an issue. Use it every day of the week.

Cannot download content - still. Have been using this app for several years. It suddenly stopped working and despite reloading app it still won’t load any content. I have been in touch with The Times support and all they advise is - we are aware of an issue with a recent update please reload the app this will sort the problem. It doesn’t. So after several years have cancelled my subscription.

User Interface. Besides the world class content, I find the user interface for the Times to be the best of all the app’s that I utilize

Excellent app. This specific version of the app is perfect for news reading on the iPad. Bravo The Times, now please leave the app alone. :-)

Complete failure. Latest update is an utter fiasco….a current Apple subscription cannot be accessed and all prior editions and saved articles are lost. News Corp./The Times should be ashamed of this app. Stay away until fixed!!!!

Recipes. I throughly enjoy reading the Times online but wish it were possible to share the recipes.

Great app. Really works smoothly and is user friendly

App won’t let new subscriber in. Just paid for a subscription, downloaded the app, logged in. It started downloading 30 days of editions, but then tells me, my subscription doesn’t entitle me to access anything, takes me back to the recent edition, which is blank. Time to get a refund I guess.

App on iPad. No the iPad new app woRks great. No problems with the New 13 downloaded app. Same on desk top and laptop no problems.

Please leave well alone.. The makers have supposedly made changes after extensive research, although it looks suspiciously like the ‘Live’ version. The sport section used to be sub-categorised so that you could select e.g., Football or Tennis and read each of those articles back to back. Now you need to scroll through as the order may be football, rugby back to football, then F1, then back to football etc. The crossword now has an annoying timer which though can be turned off has to be done everyday. If like me you like to start and then return later to the crossword later in the day, hard luck as now your previous answers aren’t held but disappear. I appreciate real first world problems but frustrating all the same.

I love this newspaper. I love The Times and all the editions. I live in America and wish I lived in England. Apparently. The app is superb. I recommend it.

Could not predict Brexit. I am reading the Times while my colleague reads The Telegraph. He was predicting britons to vote for Brexit in June 2016 as I was ridiculing him on the basis what the Times was reporting. The rest you know.

This is what good journalism is like. This is a bargain. Long, well-written articles instead of two paragraphs. The magazine itself is worth the price of admission. The app is great, beautiful pictures, video, easy to navigate.

Can’t get app to work as intended. I trying to load this app on an iPad gen 9. The app downloads and then I login. The app then downloads a few past weeks editions, it then asks if I want to upgrade my subscription or go back to the homepage. I select go back and the homepage now shows “checking for current edition “… at this point it just hangs. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app multiple times with no luck, just hangs at the same point. Help!

Easily the best.... They have streamlined news access. It is a joy to use. Features like asking about downloads and allowing deletion of old issues, while not new are readily seen and used. Downloaded puzzle pages can be saved for use on your ipad or print to take with you. They have thought through what parts of the app they can make user friendly. Content does not overly favor the slant you see too much of stateside-just the news. Journalism is about reporting, not bias. Idealistic and perhaps, naive, yes, probably. Thank you!

It allows me to stay in touch. It is a joy to read the Times and the app is extremely easy to use. What I like is that it allows me to stay in touch with events in the UK as well as provides relatively unbiased international reporting. It remains a leading news source even in today’s fake news environment on the internet.

Professional news coverage. The articles are very well written and are not so biased as the papers in the US who seem to have an agenda to sell. I really enjoy reading the articles- politics, human interest, news on the royals.

The only way to begin the day. Can’t imagine what I do without access to this app.

Ace app for iPad. I very much enjoy reading the Times an the iPad because it looks just like the print version. Well done!

App has worked well through 2 iPads. I appreciate the excellent journalism of the paper, and the design of the app. When I have needed troubleshooting, I have found the support team and instructions worked perfectly. I recommend this digital version of the paper.

Value. It does the job. No messing about. From a man who hates computers what more could I want

Great value. I enjoy the Times news and reports as a trusted source of information. The app works very well

Great interface. Am enjoying the Times so much! Lighting-fast interface, great content.

Where is Irish news section?. I purchased a Times subscription because I value their jounalism but this app doesn’t seem to have an Ireland category as the website does.

Blimey takes all. This American reads The Times every day, i love the coverage, the op eds, the photos-I think you are the best.

Great deal. Six bucks a month for this great paper!

Great App...when it works!. When the App is working it is great, very nice newspaper like layout. Very easy to read. However at least 3 times a week the paper and supplements refuse to download (every day for the last three days) Tried all the usual delete app, reboot etc. no help. Very frustrating... IpadAir, location Florida USA, IOS14.0.1

Best digital newspaper. First off journalistic content is superb, print or digital. I subscribe to two other national/ international newspapers of renown both with impeccable credentials. What they lack, however, is the ease and utility of presentation that the Times has found for its digital news. It seems the Times was made for my iPad Pro. I truly love spending glorious time on the weekends with all the magazine sections. Good job, keep at it.

Good articles BUT.... Why can’t the articles saved to PDF remain intact?! You lose lines above and below the page break. Tried saving to that format, mailing them to myself — everything I can think of and still lose content.

Cannot download London Times app. I have used the London times did it all app for many years. It has completely stopped working and I am not able to restore it. I have contacted Apple support and we spent over an hour on the phone making sure my iPad was properly configured. Still we could not download the newspaper from the app. We then went to the London Times contact site and sent a message to London Times support. London Times has never responded. So, after at least 8 years of reading the London Times everyday, I reluctantly asked Apple to cancel my subscription and refund my money. It is incredible how incompetent the London Times is. I ran a company in the UK for many years. If I had run my company like the London Times runs Grier business, I would have been fired and the company would have been bankrupt.

Love keeping in touch with the World. This app is a great, user friendly way to remain in touch with the latest news, all in one place. Love the interactive sections and thoroughly enjoy the vastly differing pieces of your opinion writers. And on the weekends, when I can’t get out to buy a magazine or the real paper, I love the escapes in your travel section.

Update 5.5.4 is Terrible. What have you done to the Times? The typeface is huge even at its smallest. It no longer looks like a newspaper on a screen, it looks like something you read in an internet browser. Give me back the old format.

Best news app by miles. I have been using this app since two years. Best service ever. Only if they could add the support for the magic keyboard. Submitted on May 2021.

Best paper out there. Love the app!. In a world of heavily biased media and half truths, the Times keeps it real. The app is great, too!

Easy to read. Excellent journalism, presented clearly and easy on the eye. This is in my opinion the best newspaper app available. Relatively unbiased although I could do without the opinions.

Love the London Times. The app works seamlessly and the paper is easy to read, saving and sharing articles is fast and easy. The format is clear the breakdown of the sections is exactly like the real paper. I read the London Times daily (one of 6 papers I download every morning to read on my commute to NYC) and find it very well written, informative, entertaining and well balanced. They have some of the best interviews and profiles of any paper I read.

Along with the WSJ, the best Newspaper App. Enjoy reading every day. Well worth the low cost.

Love the Times. Easy to use and the graphics are wonderful

Still horrendous. Why, oh why did you have do mess around with a perfectly good app? Months on, the new one is still lousy with just too many problems. The experience is still horribly frustrating. I am often tempted to terminate my subscription and start another one with another paper solely because of the app. Please fix that horrendous app asap.

Love the Times. Excellent journalism and outstanding writing. You know it's good writing when you enjoy reading it even if you strongly disagree with the writer's premise. App works well the vast majority of the time. I subscribe directly through the Times, not iTunes.

Please add Bluetooth keyboard support!. I would like if you could add Bluetooth/smart keyboard support to the app so I could use the arrows on my keyboard to flip the pages. This would be handy when reading at the desk or cafe. In a previous review I suggested adding a mechanism for in-app subscribers to access the website and iPhone apps. This was added shortly after my review and works wonderfully! The Times is the best paper anywhere and I can’t think of a better way to spend $6 a month. The news, political, sport, and cultural coverage it outstanding. I really enjoy the soccer coverage from Henry Winter and co. There is no better way to start the day than with a cup of hot coffee and a fresh edition of The Times!

Smooth,it downloads on its own.. This is the one place I always come back to. The London Times. A very happy customer.

Informative, intelligent and always fascinating. As an American, I find the Times offers an interesting perspective on international news. It’s a great newspaper.

Later than usual. Used to be able to access iPad on Times about an hour earlier than I can now, in Australia. Very much enjoy layout, ease of moving around site and puzzles. Consider the Times app good value for money.

Enjoy the paper on iPad. Great app and read it every day on my new iPad. Just great. The thing that annoyed me previously on my old iPad was the fact that I had to regularly delete the app and then reinstall it, because the auto removal of old editions did not work.

Slow and crashes. Very slow to download, needs simplification. Good content but frequent crashes.

Just joined and still learning. I noticed that the articles I saved on my Mac computer Safari do not appear on the iPad’s My articles. What can I do to have the My articles share between my Mac and iPad The Times ? Thanks

Lucky it is cheap. Not overly impressed. Only a small amount of content is updated each day, most of the content is days old. Continual ads are very irritating when reading everyday. Stories are heavily NSW &Vic biased, in politics, general stories and sport. Can't enlarge the page so cartoons and diagrams are often challenging to read. No crosswords, Review or Magazine sections. Really just a half hearted attempt at the app. Lucky it's only $6 for 6 months.

Cf. This is work in progress, should be free until it works, where is the video and the easy find options. Save your money until is cooked.

Update fiasco. Lloaded the update and the app has crashed. Deleted and re downloaded and I can’t refresh purchases, can’t email to report error - just locked out.

Good, but annoying quirks. Obviously the main thing is the content, so no complaints there. The app is annoying in that it insists on downloading the latest edition every time is starts or resumes, so you lose what you're in the middle of reading. Why can't this (optionally) happen in the background. The share feature doesn't work You only have access for a week back. So if you haven't read the Sunday magazine in time, tough.

Disaster - app fails under os 15.6!. The latest version of iOS causes the app to check updates and quit. Very sad. I hope it’s fixed quickly.

New to the Times. Just subscribed to free month an am enjoying news from the other side of the world and the no nonsense “authentic” as opposed to sensational reporting of the news. Great to hear about the UK as well. I have a small gripe. The newspaper I get In ADELAIDE allows me to get a “page view” of the paper as if I bought a paper. It feel as If I am indeed reading the printed paper and I enjoy it for that reason. However I haven’t been able to find the same feature in The Times. I still enjoy the read but reading the paper version would be the I ing on the cake.

Content good, user interface is poor. I really like The Times, but the way content is laid out, and the way you move from article to article or to other sections is so poor. The Times should just copy the New York Times user interface. So much better.

Easier to Cancel your credit card than cancel your subscription. The app is fine, the user experience is terrible. It was easier to cancel my credit card than to cancel my subscription to The Times.

The new edition is horrific. Why have you destroyed one of the best newspaper apps?!

Excellent newspaper app. I subscribe to a number of newspapers on line and TheTimes is the best. Stable with no crashing, easy to navigate and easy to read.

User friendly. Brilliant, intuitive interface.

Terrible app. This is a disaster of an app. The paper used to work just fine but not any more. They have released an update in the UK but not for australian users. Disgraceful!

My first choice for news!. Come lunchtime here in Brisbane I can download the Times for the same day. News is topical and well researched. Look forward to seeing the great photos and topical cartoons. A lot not relevant to us but a lot is. Love to be able to go back to the opening pages/preview once I have started to read the paper. It’s a bit of a pain at the moment.

The Times App Review. The Times app is the best of its kind. Easy to use, clear and very responsive. I really enjoy using it.

Subscription failure. Exactly SA per. Last month. Some fundamental flaw in update. It cuts off your subscription and won't recognize your subscription. Disastrous Susieham

Brilliant. Pricey but so worth it. Contains just about everything that the paper copy does with enhancements such as multiple pictures and video. Easy to navigate. I live in Sydney so it's particularly good. Great irk. Now fly over to your sister paper 'The Australian' and help them with their rubbish one! However ... the latest update does not seem to work ...

Great content in easy to use App. Love the balanced and thoughtful content from the Times and the writing standard reminds me of times gone by. All packaged in this easy to navigate App and all for a very reasonable cost.

Enjoying vamped up version but how does the font rescale work?. Very sophisticated and smart interface. Only glitch so far is that I cannot get the font to enlarge using the scaling tool in the bottom right hand corner. Appears as pale grey and not responding. Thanks

The app needs some work. Content and navigation is fine but it would be vastly improved by the capacity to sync ‘my articles’ along with the reading status between devices. Whenever I move between devices I have to start afresh o whatever edition i am reading and when I save an article it is only saved on that device. I tried beta testing the new app but crashed so much I had to remove it. Nevertheless, on balance it is a great app and great value for money.

Good app to join but how do you Quit subscription?. News content, depth of articles and editorial quality are great. Cancelling subscription through the App or account impossible.

The Times App. I live in Australia and love to read international news. The Times App is a visually pleasing presentation and I find it works well.

Ugly and pixelated. This app looks atrocious on the iPad retina display, and no effort has gone into fixing it in the many months since the new iPad's release. Text is pixelated, blurry and hard to read. Videos also often do not load. When will media organisations realise that if they want people to pay money for digital content, they can't just pump out half baked slapdash efforts and expect us to lump it. Do not bother with this very poor app. Read online instead.

dreadful app, pathetic service. Since the upgrade to version 2.8, this app has not worked on my iPad. Get messages that I need to buy a subscription - even though I have paid the (relatively) high subscription already through iTunes. I then get error messages. Net result - no access to my Times sub for a week now. Times support is shockingly bad - it's been days since I contacted them (and re-contacted...) , and had no response. Net result? Money paid, no access. Shameful, Times!

Not working. Works on my iPhone but says I'm expired on the iPad, which is not the case. I've changed my auto renewal to 'off'. Does anyone from the paper actually read these reviews?

Great App. Irish ex-pat living in Australia. Love getting the Sunday Times. Would be amazing if Irish Sport could be included as an option.

Not good. Content is okay but navigation is awful. Bottom menu arrows are very slow to respond. It is difficult if not impossible to access earlier editions and cumbersome if not impossible to navigate from one section to the other. This app does not make use of iPad potential.

Slow and buggy. Kind of useless, takes ages to get going...if you don't mind bugs and slow loading this is the app for you

Love the crosswords. Loving the crosswords, the photography and the news service but the App seemed to crash after a few days light use. Then without any tinkering from me it fixed itself- so a cautious 4 out of 5 Several weeks have now passed. The app is working fine. Most enjoyable. I think it's worth the modest monthly fee.

Excellent, best read of the day. The arrival of the Times is the highlight of my newspaper day. Informative, wide ranging and a valuable source of breaking news, background reading and opinion.

Well worth it.. Not cheap but being able to access the Times online from the antipodes the subscription represents excellent value.

Times of London for iPad Download Issues. As at May 2020 the Times of London App for iPad will not download the current addition or previous additions. Requests to The Times Reader Support team have not been answered. Previously The Times has been the chosen provider of news but is now losing reader credibility.

Where's the sunday edition. For a paper that prides itself on producing probably one of the best sunday papers, awfuly disappointed to find no sunday edition linked in with this app

Ripped off again. What a fricken' joke - it costs the rest of the world GBP10 (A$15) per month to subscribe, but it costs Australians $20 through the app store. Why are we continually gouged? A shame as this is a nice app.

The best.. The Times has the best journalists and best content. I like the very comprehensive coverage.

Worst app ever. What a disgrace! Constantly crashes, slow, does not automatically deliver unlike many of its competitors. They even apologized in the early days of its release yet they still haven't provided an update. My suggestion - don't waste your time with this until they at least provide an acceptable update.

Excellent. Ex-pat Briton now living in Australia and been subscribing for a few months. Thoroughly enjoy reading the Times and catching up with what’s happening in the UK. Well set out, fonts used are very good and reporting is very informative. Graphs etc of, for example, poll results are well done and easy to understand. Congratulations to all involved.

Times = crashing app. App keeps crashing again....and again....and again.

Top Marks. Having purchased or tested over a dozen news readers and magazine readers, this has set the benchmark for me. It's intuitive, feature rich, and quick. It lacks clutter, lacks junk gizmos and offers a true news service. No skimping on quantity or quality. Top marks

Crashes on opening. I have the latest update running on an iPad Pro 11 inch, iOS 12.2. It stays open for a few seconds then crashes. I will revise my star rating when this bug is fixed.

The Times & Sunday Times app. This app allows one to read the news paper in a very smooth and succinct manner. I rather think I prefer using it to reading the actual news paper.

The Times App. Excellent value for an Australian subscriber but the save/ share app does not work.

One Of The Better Newspaper Apps I've Used. Simply put, it works although it'd be nice to be able to get more of the job adverts coming through. Auto download doesn't always work (might be my device being obstinate tho) and the advertising sometimes takes a while to load which is annoying.

Hit and Miss. When it works, it's great. Easy to navigate and read stories. But several times a month it just goes weird and stops working. Usually gets fixed, but means you can't read the paper until much later in the day. Pretty dreadful since we pay for the paper.

Slow. The new app is very slow to download and includes all the content which I don’t want. I never read sport but have to have it. Nowhere near as good as the previous app version

Best world news. I love the world focus, quality of the journalism, the photographs and the magazine style sections on fashion and home. Living in Australia I often get better coverage of what’s happening in Australia than I do from local papers as some of the bias is taken out. I couldn’t imagine getting my news anywhere else.

News from Worldwide Sources!. What a great App. The News is always current and accurate. A pleasure to read, the stories are free-flowing and are of interesting topics. I find the "Times" a source of relaxation, as well as a good source of general knowledge. Many Thanks

Thorough and Enjoyable. Love starting my day reading this paper. Always has something for whatever I'm In the mood to read. App is easy to navigate

Doesn't work anymore..... Since OS upgrade on iPad navigation buttons don't work anymore; can't access other issues or move from section to section or use index....have reinstalled, resigned in etc. have got no response from help desk in two weeks. Am canceling until this is fixed....

Dreadful. I don't understand how hard it can be to make this app to work. Despite giving me the option to purchase the edition within the app, it then tells me that "in app" purchases are not allowed. Launching the App Store simply takes me back to the ST app so creating an impossible circle. Deleting and reinstalling the app makes no difference. I have given up on the ST.

Maybe someday. The previous App was maybe 6 out of 10. The recent "upgrade" has been a disaster. Wait six months for the problems to be resolved? If I could rate this lower than zero I would.

Cancel Subscription??. How do i do this as the app is poor!!

Top Site Bar None. This is the standard against which all newspaper sites should be judged.

Great Newspaper. Great App. Still suffering bugs with downloading from time to time

Great app. Very nice, clean and easy to use app. I especially like the ability to download the paper so I can read it on the train.

Really Good. Keeps me up to date on what’s going on. Like the layout, speed, format and uh, the puzzles!

Take TheTimes out of Newstand!. The new delivery method is slow to download, cumbersome to use and seems to be missing sections of the paper- where are all the fashion and lifestyle pages. Old app was great, easy to read and navigate. This new method is terrible and will likely cancel my subscription.

When will the 2.8 update be available. This is the problem with the navigation tools not working after the IOs 6.0 update, pls advise this is very annoying and I to will cancel until it's fixed. Great now I have the upgrade AND I CAN'T SUBSCRIBE. WHAT'S GOING ON? Great fixed for one month, now same story, I can't renew my subscription. Pls repair this quickly, I can't be the only one with this issue. This time I will NOT renew. Bob Vogt

Great way to read the paper as it was intended to be read. The iPad app is a great way to read the paper as it was intended to be read. The only shortcoming to me is that the app doesn’t appear to provide access to recent/breaking news that was not in the paper. The iPhone app does, however.

EXTREMELY POOR. Great journalism, appalling app. Menu stopped working after a couple of days, which meant I couldn't jump to sections or see past issues downloaded. Forced to read page by page. Have wasted loads of time trying to sort it out. Come on guys, as the newspaper pioneering paid-for digital journalism, surely you can do better than this!

Bad subscription terms. The interactive interface and organization of articles is the best I have seen for a newspaper iPad app. Unfortunately the App Store subscription terms are not. I subscribed for 1 month. Within the subscription period I could only look at the past 8 days of back issues. Today my online subscription expired. I hadn't read the past 3 days which are still within my subscription period. The app wouldn't let me download and read any of them. The subscription is for using the app for 30 days not for 30 days worth of newspapers.

The Best. Unrivalled, brilliant.

The Times. I have subscribed to the Times of London for a few years. Very informative and good reading.

The times new app. Disastrous. Not only that but I have to PHONE FROM CANADA to cancel. Spend more on cancelling than the subscription itself.

Excellent. One of the only newspaper apps that still gives you a bit of a feel like you are reading an actual physical paper, with the text presented in columns and the ability to flip pages, rather than scroll down.

Expat in Canada. Yes love it , cost me a lot though as I had to upgrade my 8 year old IPAD which was glacial slow to a 2019 model , now very happy lol

A totally disastrous update. I thought the previous times app was bad but this one is almost unusable, on average I have to delete the app and reload 2 or3 times per edition!! The Sunday Times which used to be good is now just as bad, jerky and freezes, hence having to reload. Admittedly I have an original iPad but it is running iOS 5.1.1 so it should be ok. I am paying $20+ a month to read these papers and I can't it really is not good enough fro one of the worlds premier news corporations

Problems since upgrade. I have had problems with the app since the recent upgrade to IOS 6. I cannot access back issues and the commands for navigating through the sections do not respond any more. Please can these be fixed a.s.a.p. as otherwise it is a brilliant app.

Great app but..... This is a superb app.....but sometimes communication about your account can be a little bizarre. I got a message the other day to say that the app was being updated, so I clicked on the relevant link which took me to the App Store, it said the app was open.....so what was I supposed to do next?

Delete an issue. There is no way to delete an issue, this being a huge stockage problem.

Dire. What a massive disappointment. I have subscribed to what was an excellent app for years and now it is no longer fit for purpose. Some one at The Times has made a huge mess of this and antagonized a lot of loyal customers in the process.

best source of news fromUK.. i’ve taken this paper for many years. my wife takes the Telegraph. the content similarity is striking. from time to time “the news in pictures” contains blurred pictures but who do you report this issue to. The times main site apparently has nothing to do with the times app. it’s a good read and we like the puzzles.

Only want Sunday edition. I used to buy just the Sunday edition, but this new app is forcing me to pay for daily subscription. Forget it - you've lost me as a customer completely.

Balanced reporting. As a reader from Canada, I appreciate the interesting, well written articles and balanced reporting. Sadly, we have to reach out to the media in other countries because our media in Canada are mostly hard wired PC left, especially the publicly funded CBC and our largest national newspaper, The Globe and Mail. Thank you for reporting on and respecting all points of view!

Always an informative, good read. The London Times is one of the few papers left where I can find well written articles that still seem to adhere to journalistic principles. Being able to view all the articles plus photos *and* add my own comments (plus see responses to them) *and* be able to do the puzzles all make this my go-to source of news (even if I am in Canada). A little less ignoring of Canada might be nice but there’s always The Globe and Mail.

If only it actually worked.. This app is exceptionally unstable, It randomly exits when reading and very frequently hard crashes the iPad locking it up totally and forcing you to reset it. Overall this product should have been through some decent QA before releasing. Disappointing.

Keeps crashing. Can't get passed the second page without the app crashing

Good writing, B- app. If The Times is going to develop an app for the iPad, it should at least support landscape mode. Vertical scrolling appears only in portrait mode - very frustrating. Otherwise, well implemented and excellent content.

Problems turning pages. Continue to be disappointed the Times has not fixed the navigational issues with this App. The screen continually locks when trying to turn a page. Subscription is way too high for these issues not to be addressed.

Comments. Great paper. Originally subscribed for the puzzles but enjoy the whole paper daily. Only one thing that would improve the iPad app is to add a link to the readers comments just like in the iPhone app. Not sure why it’s offered on one but not the other.

Few better news apps than this. Brilliantly simple and comprehensive. This is a gorgeous and user-friendly app that lets you do much with the navigation and news reading experience easily.

Great global coverage. I look forward to reading every day. Excellent news source, super journalism, something sadly lacking in North American newspapers

Beware. There seems to be an auto renew that you need to be aware of. App itself is awkward.

The website is superior. The user experience of the app pales in comparison to the website. Also the app doesn’t provide access to all articles that can be found on the website.

Excellent journalism. One of the few papers left worth reading.

This app is terrible!. The Times Digital team has succeeded in making an app that was clunky, slow and irritating even worse. I can't understand how a leading newspaper could allow this 'update', which has made it impossible to read the paper without having the app freeze or shut down entirely several times a session. To make matters worse, although you can subscribe to the Times using online services, to cancel you need to call their number in the UK- which is doubly frustrating if you live overseas as many digital readers do. Zero stars!

OS6 issue. Well done. The app for international users now after a long wait updated to 2.8. The 5 star rating is well deserved. Please try to avoid a similar issue with next OS upgrade. You seriously tested the patience of many, but to your credit, did keep users informed. Alf.

How could they get it so wrong?. An absolute disaster! They took two very solid separate applications (The Times and the Sunday Times) and combined them in a very ineffective manner. Don’t they realize that we read the Sunday paper quite differently from the daily one? A daily newspaper needs to download fast and be very easy to use. The Sunday paper needs more structure and different navigation. In adopting this new application, you give up the ability that the old Sunday Times had to keep parts of particular interest to you. Now, you can only keep up to 4 editions of the Sunday Times -- and to do so you must also keep a month of the daily newspaper –- all in a single level navigation panel. The application itself is very unreliable. It takes a very long time to load or does not load at all, image downloading is a problem. It frequently crashes. It freezes during navigation. Menu layouts are less attractive and less efficient than the all. It seems as though they have totally ignored the needs of the actual reader of the newspaper. Hard to believe this got through the user tests they claim to have done. Even harder to believe their failure to respond to the problems, the App has not been improved for almost a month. I am a very long-term subscriber (both in print and digital). Unless this improves they will have lost another reader.

Very poor app. First, there´s an additional cost for getting the Sunday Version, even though the webpage offers both for the same price. Buying it trough the Appstore, you don´t get the Sunday Times version.... Secondly its still quite buggy, and frequently jerky. Overpriced and a dissappointment

Not Very Happy. This app could be good but it is not so now. It's slow but also not well thought out. I subscribed to the online edition but have no way of letting the iPad app know of my subscription. Does the Times expect me to pay twice, once for the digital online edition and once again for the digital ipad edition? Grrrrrr! I expect far more from the Times.

New app is VERY frustrating. Since being forced onto Newsstand the app has become terribly erratic and unreliable. Such a great app ruined by a seemingly pointless upgrade. It siezes up and drops out for no apparent reason the swipe no longer works properly and after closing it for a couple of hours it will no longer re-start. The only way to deal with this is to delete the app and reload it, doing this several times a day is a totally nugatory activity and it really cannot continue. I am using an ipad 1 which seems to have more problems than my wife's ipad 2 but hers is just as bad in terms of freezing failing to page on swipes and dropping out. her only benefit is not having to reload the app all the time. My subscription is buying me a big headache and I will have to find a different paper to read if it does not improve very soon Please fix these problems quickly.

Best newspaper app bar none. The ease of use, interactivity, formatting make this the best newspaper app bar none.

excellent. I read 7xweek from my home in Canadian Prairies. This is the only U K paper worth reading now. Thank you

Well designed app.. The app is easy to use and my intellect can be devoted to the content rather than trying to change screens.

Crashes. I have come to rely on the iPad edition but I've had endless crashes now with latest version. Now it does not allow me to subscribe and get the latest edition - the app just is getting worse!

Can't get my newspaper anymore since it went to news stand.. I used to love getting my morning London Times every day. Up until they forced me to move to Newsstand. The Newsstand app is slow, crashes a lot, and generally doesn't update my paper, so that most days I have to delete and reload the app in order to get the newest paper. Don't get this app til they fix it! London Times, go back to your wonderful original custom app, that worked, or I'm going to have to cancel my subscription. Stop ignoring people's feedback - this is horrible.

Great news App. Rely on this news source as my prime source of objective reporting

Bug in latest update - please fix. In today's edition Friday 17th June, got to the article about Blyton to find that the app keeps launching the app store. Every time I go into the app same thing happens. Running an iPad 2. Have tried closing and restarting. Clearing the cache gets me back to the app, but same thing happens on that page. Oh and ditto the other reviewer, don't really see what the update has brought in way of improvements. Update to my review - It seems the "Animation-rich interactive graphics" are being used to push slow loading adverts at us. Wonderful... I realise that adverts fund some of the paper and I'm sure the new interactive ones can command more revenue. What annoys me is that this update is being sold to us as some amazing new user experience. Which at the moment it is clearly not.

Very good but no search function. Nice display. But like a search function.

Absolute rubbish do not purchase until bugs are fixed. The previous apps worked brilliantly on my iPad 3 (64gb memory) for both the Times and the Sunday Times, now with the new app on newsstand I have to spend ages trying to download what is meant to be an automatic download. Once loaded the pages freeze, there are far too many blank spaces in the paper and much of the previous functionality is missing. A disgrace, I will be cancelling my subscription if this is not sorted soon.

Recommend The Times of London - Best Source of World News. Thanks for providing insights into world news that is unique for this USA reader. I enjoy the entertainment news and the comments too. The Times of London allows for critical thinking as politicians take actions that will impact our daily lives.

Good Presentation but Deteriorating Content. I have been getting the Times electronically for over a year now as I live in the US. I used to have the Kindle version and now the new IPad version. There is no doubt the iPad provides a far superior interface for newspapers though I still prefer to read books on the Kindle. Unfortunately, the Times has become noticeably more right wing and opinionated in its reporting and particularly in its sometimes misinformed coverage of the recent 'Occupy' coverage. I am going to cancel my subscription as I do not need a British newspaper equivalent of Fox News. Why would I expect anything different when they are both owned by Murdoch. Shame - as the format is good - just don't expect too much impartial content.

The best way to read news digitally. I've just started the 30 day free trial - bravo for even offering it and it is accomplishing what I'm sure you set out to : I'm being converted to a subscriber I think! So much more relaxing reading a digital newspaper as opposed to some web 2.0 embedded video hyperlinked Frankenstein attempt at being 'nu meeja'. Navigation is great and I can see why it won an award. Please encourage your Sunday colleagues to offer the same free trial and you may just gain a customer! UPDATE sept 5th 2011--------------------- I just subscribed...they offer a 30 day $4 option for new subscribers which includes the Sunday Times! You got me!

Nothing But Problems. I purchased this app a few days ago and since then have had nothing but problems getting it to run properly and display content. The response so far from Apple has been pathetic: they just tell me to delete the app and then reload it, and if that fails, and it usually does, to troll around some self-help site that's about as much use as a rubber crutch. Apple shouldn't take its customers for granted, as Samsung and Microsoft both make products that are cheaper and that actually work.

The Sunday Times. Best news on the planet, period!

Paper downloads in full glory (but software poor). The download of the paper is a great, all the content is there to scroll through super fast including glossy pictures. Now I really enjoy reading The Times on my iPad. The daily download ebook approach is much better than the Financial Times App, which is more web site like and does not so effectively replace the printed experience. However, the interface is still very poor. There are two ways to read the paper: (a) keep moving to the right by swiping the page left (b) click on links which appear on various summary pages. Unfortunately (b) works very badly and is very easy to get lost inside. So users should navigate by method (a) alone. Unfortunately I guess a lot of people will never discover navigation by method (a), and will get very angry with the app. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: I know you have lots of bugs to fix but why have you still not fixed the behaviour of the back button with this release?! Click on an article link, then click back, and you are in a new place. This is absurd and makes navigation by (b) impossible.

Getting better but still not as good as original. Works pretty well on my wife's ipad3. On my ipad1 will work well for a few days, then it freezes when trying to open. It seems to be trying to open a new edition but does nothing. Tried various things to get it to unfreeze - switching off, switching off wifi, opening other things to read. Only thing that works is uninstall and reinstall.

Primitive program - Read it in Safari. Beware: this app truly takes an incredibly long time to download each day's paper, which you have to wait for, before accessing it. Even at broadband WiFi. It's like something from 20 years ago, dial up at 12.5 kps. Ridiculous, I couldnt believe it when I first tried it. Dont waste the time on it, just read it online with your WiFi but, of course, Murdoch wants your money for that, too! It's your choice, pay him all he wants, which is way too much, or better, just read the other British papers online - ALL free I might add...and far faster, BUT if you do pay for the online subscription to the Times ( which my wife does, she's English) then you get the iPad app access FREE. They just announced this.

Not the Times I remember. The navigation is odd, but manageable and can certainly stand some scrutiny from the staff. The quality of the articles has deteriorated quite substantially since the pre-Murdoch days and the paper is more salacious than not. This is very unfortunate. I will tlikely end my subscription after then first month. The fee is monthly and there is no Sunday edition. I would add that there are problems in landscape mode, with pages that scroll to the bottom placing text out of view and navigation that runs off the side and bottom, inaccessible. The app is also subject to frequent crashes.

Update from hell. Today’s update has made app unusable. Will not open up sections of paper.

The most mature e-paper platform I use. I've used been a Times e-paper subscriber for a number of years and seen it evolve over the years to a mature platform that is easy to navigate, share and save articles. I subscribe to a number of e-paper platforms and The Times currently has the best usability.

Still waiting for ios6 compatibility. UPDATE OCT 19, 2012 - while the problem is still not fixed, I really appreciate the explanatory note that the tech team has now posted. They sound as frustrated with the US Apple Store as we are. Thank you, and best wishes for a speedy resolution. .................. It's quite annoying having multiple admonitions in each day's issue, reminding us to get the latest version of The Times app, since we have no access to it here in the US. The lack of navigation tools since ios6 is frustrating. Since other parts of the world have access to the latest version, it would be nice for the developers to at least let us know the reason for the delay. Also, since ios6, I'm being slammed each day with multiple Times emails I don't wish to receive. I'm told that to manage them, I must log into my acct, but the website denies me access.

The best. App is great. The Times is an international treasure and trusted source for news.

Takes a bit of getting used to. Being able to read the Times whilst living in the U.S is fabulous. It's well worth the subscription money but does take a bit of getting used to, it's not that user friendly, especially for my mum, in her 70's and only just bought herself an iPad. But, all in all, I cherish this app!

User interface ok; lack of Sunday Times not ok. The user interface is ok, but not as good and as intuitive as the Wall Street Journal interface. They are both owned by the same company, so, why reinvent a new interface that is not as good. The exclusion of the Sunday Times is very disappointing and makes the cost of this app/service much more expensive than it should be.

Good content - when it works. I like the format although it could be easier to navigate. My two biggest problems are the amount of content and the fact that it has been telling me i am not connected to the internet. I have tried uninstalling the app and reloading it to no avail.

Expires My Auto- renew subscription. I was thrilled to get the update for my subscription as I was tired of having to scroll through all the articles to get to the section I wanted. The section icon now works, but now the app has expired my subscription! As I have the Times on a monthly auto-renewal, I find this extremely frustrating. I cannot access any of the articles at this time. May have to cancel my subscription.

How can this still be messed up?. What is going on? I can't see the content I'm paying for. It keeps telling me I need to subscribe but even when I tried to subscribe again it fails. This has been going on for over a week now. How do they not have it resolved?

Exactly what the IPad was made for. UPDATED ****Downgraded from 5 stars to 4 stars, no mention that Sunday Times would not be included originally, is now WAY too expensive without in-app Sunday Times supported. Very disappointed.**** This is exactly why I bought the IPad, having a real newspaper on the go with the added benefits of being 'interactive'. I have wanted to have the Times of London delivered to me electronically for some time. The Kindle version is fine but lacks the benefit of the large screen and has no pictures. Downsides; it is a little too expensive at $17 a month. It also could be much better than it is, in particulate being more interactive, but it is still the first real killer newspaper app available. Future updates will no doubt improve it further. Overall, very happy to see this finally arrive in a really great form. Surely the future of news media!

Poor navigation controls, no regular content updates and a RIP OFF!. I've had my iPad over a month now and every day I read the Wall Street Journal iPad edition and the New York Times free Editor's Choice app which gives me something to compare this to. It fails both in terms of delivering an authentic newspaper reading experience and in its pricing model. Another Murdoch owned paper, The Wall Street Journal, has a beautiful app (launched on day 1 of the iPad) which feels just like reading the print edition. It has great gesture based navigation allowing you to pinch to go back a section, swipe down to go to the next section, and swipe left and right to turn pages - this is infinitely better than the ugly and cumbersome menu bar based controls in The Times app. Also, unlike WSJ, The Times doesn't update its content throughout the day so you're better off going to Tge Times website. The Wall Street Journal app is $17 per month to non-subscribers and is currently free to subscribers of either the online edition (about $100 per year) or print editions, unlike The Times app which requires even print subscribers to pay a huge £9.99 ($17) per month for a 6 day a week paper. So memo to staff at The Times - pick up the phone to your News Corp brethren at the WSJ and get them to redesign and relaunch your app. Otherwise you're going to see 80% of your subscribers disappear after month 1 (like me).

Fix for navigation buttons: download from UK. As a previous poster has said, the version of the Times app for iOS6 that can be downloaded from the UK App Store works just fine. I had to create a second Apple account for the UK store to do this. I live in both countries and since downloading iOS6, I've had to set up the second account anyway. None of my apps would update because the shipping address was in the UK and the billing address was in the US. Yet another reason to be unhappy with iOS6; maybe Apple Maps has actually discovered that the US and the UK are in different places on the planet!

Good Times. This is a colorful app. Looks great. But——-a replica or “e” edition would make this a 5-star review.

Never Able to Access. The app would never recognize my iTunes trial subscription.

Terrible App. Terrible app. Continuously freezes, and unable to download on 3G - seems to need wireless which is pointless when travelling. Previous app was buggy but nothing like this. Already had a run in with their 'customer service', as they doubled my subscription after my credit card ran out, and had a 'couldn't care less' attitude about it. Buyer beware.

Shockingly Bad. I have been an avid reader of the Sunday Times for years, and switched from paper to the original electronic computer edition (exact duplicate of print) when first developed, then subsequently to the iPad app once it became available. This latest version, however, is utterly pathetic compared to the one it replaced. I have been unable to identify a single characteristic which represents an improvement. To the contrary, every aspect if this 'updated' app has been substantially worsened. Stability issues aside, the aesthetic design, interface, navigation and usability have all taken massive steps backwards. Despite claims of improved functionality, it has been castrated. How possibly could this most disappointing piece of work have passed the thousands of hours of user testing as suggested, or anyone in their right mind at The Times have concluded this remotely any sort of improvement? It is simply incomprehensible, and would seem to suggest The Times needs to consider some serious house cleaning of staff.

Perhaps not. I like the idea of a daily paper, as a child we always had one and it's great to get away from surfing and really read something. However, the app is quite unpredictable. When you press on the headline story it doesn't move to the headline story. Also no Sunday edition, what is it with that? Fortunately, it's a monthly purchase, which I probably won't make again but look to the other free online alternatives. Want people to pay then it has to be perfect.

Outstanding. The appearance, UI, navigability, reliability - all set standards for online periodicals.

full content app!. excellent organization, easy to navigate, chock full of content compared to web site

Worst App Ever. The is by far the worst app I have ever used on iOS. I have struggled with many versions from the original launch. Even today the most basic bugs have returned like changing the day of the edition presumably based on the kids writing this garbage not understanding that we do not all live in London or te UK time zone. I had pointed a bug like this at the first launch. I guess they do not believe in quality control or testing. I thought the Times obesssion with the "home counties" ended half a century ago. New editions frequently refuse to download or wait forever before starting. It appears that the Times is not paying for an international CDN to cache the content making downloads outside of London painfully slow. Another frustration is that after painfully downloading additions, they will be obliterated by a “new edition available” notice that trashed the previous down loads without asking! All in all the Time should be ashamed of this broken technology. It is not just the sloppy programing that they should be ashamed off. Whoever manages this whole project for the Times needs replaced. There are plenty of teenagers looking for work who could run rings around this pathetic effort.

Rip off. Bought subscription by app in iTunes. Won’t give me content or any articles at all. Waste of money.

good,but.... On my ipad, the Times looks simply amazing. I am willing to pay for quality content, but also think that the papers' pricing policy is slightly over the top (especially if we keep in mind that we are talking about digital content that is available for free elsewhere). Furthermore, single copies should be provided as well for customers and not just monthly subscriptions that not every potential customer can afford (given that he or she already pays for several newspapers subscriptionsn that are delivered to the door of his or her household)

Fails to load. On the 1 in 4 occasions where the actually app loads, I have a very good experience. The Times is a brilliant newspaper and the app does a good job of capturing content and media in a digital format. ...But, I am getting increasingly frustrated with the amount of time and number of attempts it takes to actually load the app. This is possibly the 4th updated version I have dowloaded, yet the problem persists. Moreover, on some occassions the new edition opens to the same section that I was reading in a previous edition, rather than on the Front Page, as I would like.

Good if you can get it .... Persistent problems renewing my subscription. It says I’ve paid for it then can’t download. As good as it is - not worth the frustration.

Decent but latest update was a backwards step. I love reading the times and Sunday times and it's great having the ability to do so on a well put together, easy to use app like this one. Although occasionally the navigation isn't the most user friendly, it doesn't take much time to figure out the little quirks. Unfortunately they recently released an update that has made it slower and more buggy, often I now find text and images totally unaligned and positioned in strange places, ie half off the page I'm reading. Im running an ipad2, as a web, UX designer myself, it seems amazing to me that they allowed this update to go ahead without full testing.

Horrible Mess. This new app does not work, is highly unstable and when I called the London office they told me the app was designed for IPAD2. I told them that not everyone has an IPAD2 nor should be expected to spend more money to use this new app. All other major apps work on my originally issued IPAD. To date the app problems related to extreme instability have not been resolved despite several attempts to reinstall the app.

Difficult to Cancel. Make sure you get a subscription through Apple, so you have a way to cancel. If you subscribe directly through the Times there is no obvious way to cancel. A web search suggested you need to give them several days notice, and your best bet may be to contact your bank and block payments. I have searched all the account pages for "cancel" and nothing comes up. If you search "cancel" for the entire site you get completely unrelated articles. Very sketchy!

Dreadful. The transition to being an App within Newstand has been truly dreadful. 1) The app crashes repeatedly 2) It hangs infinitely when moving between pages 3) The date showing above each edition in the "Edition" tab is wrong - my Saturday edition is shown as being from Friday, and so on 4) Once an updated version of an edition is available, you can't read the previously downloaded version - which is really ridiculous when you're offline and didn't download the update before you left connectivity. This leaves you with multiple unreadable editions. 5) The automatic download only downloads part of the paper, meaning that rather than having to just do one download each morning before you head for the train, you have to go through and do multiple individual downloads 6) The multiple pages of thumbnails after the front page, highlighting key stories in each section, have been reduced to one 7) In sections where you have to scroll down to read the whole story, you often have to jam your finger on the screen to keep it scrolled down far enough to finish reading - otherwise it bounces back up 8) When I sent feedback mail to the Times, I received a patronising pro-forma E-mail suggesting I restart my iPad. This is a TERRIBLE upgrade. I have a 4th generation iPad, so the hardware should not be the source of the problem. I'm extremely disappointed.

Grrrrrr. Please go back to the original app. It worked! Could store as many weeks as I wanted, for a long read on a vacation - now the settings keep reverting to a week. Some weeks I don't have to chance to get past the first few pages of the ST, so I just lose everything? I paid for the subscription, why can't I decide when I want to read it? And why not the option to download everything - as before! Price has doubled for less, unless this is fixed soon I am deleting.

Disappointing. Two updates ago the crossword was fine. Now it hangs frequently. But far less tolerable is that functionality, specifically to check the solutions on double click when the grid is completed has gone. Ian utterly baffled that two updates on this STILL hasn't been fixed, I know I'm not alone in lready giving feedback on this. I'm giving it one more update then I will cancel my subsricription. The Guardian crossword is available on ipad by using the iswifter app.

Works well for me. I was prompted last night to remove my Sunday Times App and replace it with the new Times combined App. Other than finding a search of the IStore found nothing using the Times advised App search term (I eventually used Times of London which worked), the new App has installed and run perfectly. So far not encountered any of the issues reported by others

London Times App. Please save yourself time, money, and a whole lot of frustration: don't buy this app. It doesn't work and is nothing but problems. If you want to read the Times, subscribe via the Times website directly. That actually works. I tried this thinking it would be easy and more convenient, but was I ever wrong. The website subscription works, the iTunes app does not! I gave this app one star, but only because zero stars wasn't an option.

Love it. The description text of the newspaper mentions no Sunday Times is included. I bought it anyway, and I have already gone through the paper. Love the iPad and the newspapers. Got the WSJ, the Financial Times and now the London Times. I am beyond thrilled with the content I can get at any time. Keep it coming.

Can you rate something less than 1 star? This is below zero. September 2023 - Oh, my, they really screwed up something that was working fairly dependably. The recent update is slow to load, sometimes doesn’t load the current edition, is quirky to navigate and, basically, screws up something that didn’t need changing. The Times doesn’t have a good track record of updates. Really unhappy!!! The new app is crap! Now on my third day of attempting to use this. When it works, it is very slow. More often than not it crashes, over and over and over. What used to be a pleasure is now a huge chore. I want my Times back! The new app takes forever to load, crash frequently (every few pages), requires 5, 10, 15 or more attempts to reload when it does crash, freezes, is difficult to move from page to page ( you try to flick to the next page and either nothing happens or it page gets stuck half way), and many more problems. I hate that you have to go to Contents to get to the next section (e.g. - to get to Scotland from News) rather than just paging to the next section at the end of the previous one. In the Scotland section today the was no Contents or Editions tab so now I'm stuck in that section and can't seem to get anywhere else. I hate having to separately download "special" sections like Magazine or Times2. After being a subscriber almost from the beginning of the iPad edition, this is the first time that I really can't use my subscription because the current version is so bad. Also, nothing I wanted was added and all the new "features" are either worse than the previous alternative or are unnecessary or unhelpful. You've really screwed this one up!!! Update from 28 Feb - today's tally - 10+ crashes and 4 re-installs and I haven't gone beyond the News section. Crashes occur most often on the "In Pictures" page, which I love but can't view anymore as well as on ad pages. Also had a failure to load today, not uncommon. This app is just junk. Sent from my iPad

Terrible customer support. So, the quality of the content is first rate, and actually the app is basically well designed and easy to navigate. So why only 1 star? Because the app is rarely updated for new hardware/iOS versions. After 6 months there is still no support for retina display - the text renders horribly and is very uncomfortable to read. The app is also not compatible with iOS6 - navigation buttons no longer work. An updated app was released in the UK nearly 2 weeks ago but without explanation, is not being released in the US store. I also had ongoing problems with the login on my account, and tech support often didn't respond to requests for assistance, and when they did respond were slow and offered advice for irrelevant issues. To sum up, the worst customer service and app maintenance of any iOS app I have ever downloaded - apart from maybe the Sunday Times!

Could be brilliant- if faults are fixed. I love love love reading the times on this app, but please make the subscribing/ renewing more sophisticated. Also, you used to be able to highlight/define/copy text but you are no longer able to do this... I really liked that feature. Another recent issue, is that you used to be able to click on front page photo/picture and it would take you to the article. It no longer does this.

Good but restrictive. This is definitely one of the better broadsheet apps out there with good content and a well designed interface (my favourite today is The New York Times). It drives me crazy however that I cannot share any articles on Facebook or even email and that my monthly subscription does not give access to the website content. Missing a trick here?

Major Issues still need fixing. I love the Times newspaper and really enjoyed the app - until it went on the bookcase. There have been 2 upgrades to the software since then, but no significant improvement. Issues are: - the app ALWAYS searches for an update and takes 3-5 minutes doing so - newspapers previously downloaded and then updated will require updating (imagine Sunday's newspaper having a new version the following Wednesday and you cannot read the mags. Is this Stalinistic re-writes of future predictions???) - nice option to skip stories has disappeared (existed in pre-bookshelf version). Now means you have to go page by page OR head to contents and select. - loading times are awful - graphics disappear when loading newest edition. My suggestions - take it off the bookshelf. Nothing gained. A far inferior product to the one that existed 1 year ago. The newspaper is great Nd deserves better app.
