The Times of London Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

First amongst equals. I subscribe to several global newspapers. Without a doubt the Times app is the best of the best. Easy to use and navigate and regular updates.

Times ads are really distracting. I use the app every day to keep up with British news and have done so for the past couple of years. Lately though I am being driven to distraction by the Times own-brand ads that pop up in every single article. One is for their podcast and one is for a daily email about coronavirus. Sometimes I get both in one article. They take an age to load and are hugely disruptive to the reading experience. I am very close to cancelling as I don’t have time to sit and read this paper on a laptop.

reliable and enjoyable. I have tried several news agencies but none of them have been as enjoyable and reliable as Times

Great App with Great Features. My favorite parts of The Times are the Times2, Saturday Times Magazine, and Sunday Times Magazine sections In addition to the previously mentioned, this is a pretty good app (of a pretty good publication).

I looked at a lot of online newspapers.. I spent a lot of time reviewing various newspapers online. The Times has proved to be too - good news, well presented and the app is easy to use on the phone or ipad. It’s very cost effective too!

Excellent app. It's very user friendly and the journalism is excellent. As an American, it is always interesting to read an alternative take on the news from across the pond.

Plays advertising video on nearly every article. I pay a premium subscription to the Times for this app, yet on nearly every article an advertising video plays. Favouring cash over the customer. Not impressed at all. Please remove and get the app back to a great experience.

Yank Remains Enthralled. As an American, I perhaps have less reason to be engaged with your paper but a few years ago on a visit to London Picked II a copy of the paper to read with breakfast and have been a regular ever since. Your stories seem more balanced than we are accustomed to in the US and your human interest stories are more detailed and intelligent than our often dumbed down content. You are one of the three sources of news content I rely on with regularity. Keep up the good work!

Brilliant app. Makes it quite easy to keep up with news back in Britain, my favourite news source

Dark Mode Please. It’s a decent app. It could be better if I can read the articles in dark mode. I hope the app developer can include this function in the near future. Thank you

An important reality cross-check. Living in the US, the daily news often reads like an alternative history novel. I use The Times as a touch stone - their perception of what’s going on is very helpful.

Excellent journalism, lacking app.. Ability to read up on British news whilst living in the US (I’m British) from a reputable and mostly impartial source is a god send, not to mention coverage of sports and motoring news and opinion. I just wish I got notifications for news stories (all notifications are on for it but I don’t get any…) Solid 4/5✨

Great App!. Obviously reading an online paper doesn’t have the same feel as reading a tangible one but I love this app! It’s a great way for me to get current London news all the way across the pond! The app is easy to navigate and easy to read and I like the updates throughout the day.

Most awful newspaper app. I subscribe to the times and it’s a wonderful paper to read. Whoever the ios and iPad app are horrible way to read. Makes the reader work hard to find articles or sections. Search is not really search. Have one typo and the search ends with nothing. Not even aproxímate results. Oh wait the best part, where is the search button? So now I have the web version instead of the app. Pls review this it’s not cool or productive. Your better than this sorry app.

The Times of London. I read the Times daily (or more often). The perspective from across the Atlantic is illuminating; the articles about politics are fascinating. I also look forward to each of the new articles about WW II on the eve of the 75th Anniversary of D Day. The writers on virtually every subject are well informed, and their exquisite command of the English language is refreshing. Thank You!

Cutright. I’m a Yank and I rely on the Times to give me a reliable, credible perspective on the news here in the US as well as the UK. I also look forward to the Sunday Times magazine. Thank you very much and please keep up the great work.

The Royal Navy of the mind. I rely on The Times through the iPhone and iPad apps for reporting that cuts through the brawling styles and personality cults displayed by many formerly respected newspapers in the socially fragmented, partially woke and yet stupidly wealthy country where I live. The Times iOS apps do a simple job well: Get out of the way, so that the thoughtful, informative work of The Times’ reporters and editors can shine. The subscription price is very fair. The app category list count, design details and typography scale appropriately across larger and smaller screens. The lack of oppressive inline videos and annoying adverts feels like a treasured oasis of Times content, compared to the brain-melting advertising glare at many other news media outlets. These apps extend the reputation and persuasive strength of The Times across the Internet, a bit like a Royal Navy of the mind.

Beautiful news app. The Times news app is very pleasingly laid out, easy to navigate and a pleasure to read. Unlike some other newspaper web sites and apps, The Times app shows all new material each time you open it up- much appreciated!

Stellar. Great reporting. Writers present with clarity and balance what I need to know & understand. Keep us informed so we can know the truth that will keep us free!

It’s not fancy, it just works. I’ve had this app for a few months now, and it hasn’t failed me yet. It loads fast. It’s easy to scan the headlines. What more would I need?

Excellent reporting and well built app. The app works well. It is easy to navigate about. I like sliding across to the next article. I do wish I could have the articles as they appear in the paper edition so I could page through each. The separation into News/World/etc. leaves a bit to be desired. That said, good show. A note on reporting. Good work. Good effort to keep the calm, measured tone in the articles and opinion separate. Much preferred to the usual frantic tone used by others to attract train-smash-lookers.

Love the Times. Great app! I’m a reader from the US and very much appreciate the Times’ perspective on US, world, and UK news. As well as editorial content.

Comments section doesn’t work as can’t update personal details in app. Paid Subscriber from the US here…great news content but comments section doesn’t work for me.

Please fix bugs. 1. Images load slowly, if at all (I’m in California so maybe the CDN is better in the UK?) 2. You display ad spaces when there are no ads. 3. When you switch apps, like to send someone a link to an article you’re reading, and switch back to The Times, it restarts the whole app and you lose your place. 4. Articles sometimes show a video play button over the thumbnail in the article list. When you click in there is no video, just an image.

Impossible to cancel the subscription. Be aware that if you are overseas and want to cancel the subscription they make it almost impossible. I tried calling , emailing and now gonna have to call my bank and see how they can call this recurring payment. Worst customer service.

I love this app. I’m a soccer fan in the USA. The Times has great coverage of the EPL with knowledgeable reporters. Definitely worth the minimal cost of an online subscription.

Bad customer service. I am trying to cancel my subscription, and no one has gotten back to me through telephone or email. I refuse to pay another month. Once someone contacts me to help cancel the subscription, I will edit this review. Edit: So my subscription was canceled, and yet, I was billed $6. I was basically robbed, and am appalled. No one will get back to me still. Awful.

Quality Journalism. I read The Times every day either by IPad or Phone. The quality of the articles is superb as is the look and feel. The sadness of not completing the Super Fiendish Sudoko or Oleh’s quiz is always remedied when a Peter B’s cartoon is published.

A newspaper that opens insights. I Iive in New Zealand and the United States wherein I teach law. I like most of all the Times for its down the middle castigation of both left and right. Through acerbity it achieves balance and it’s nobody’s echo chamber.

Great for keeping me up to date on what’s going on in the UK and Europe. I reside in the US, England and France and the Times is superior, to any other publication, when it comes to up to date News in the UK and Europe.

love it, period. BREATH OF FRESH AIR!. If you live in the U.S., and want World Class news coverage and commentary, AND have tired (as had I) of nauseatingly biased reporting by the New York Times (I had read religiously for 60 years!), you now have a superb option with the digital or Kindle versions of the Times of London and the Sunday Times. You can expect voluminous yet insightful coverage of world events, including important events in the U.S., unparalleled writing, humor, and, while being sensitive, a refusal to bow down to slavish political correctness. It’s a regular part of my day and I’m loving it.

Excellent and easy. The app is clean, concise and easy to maneuver. Particularly like how I can go back a week and look at past editions. Well done!

News at your finger tips. Articles are nicely displayed and the mixed content it s great way to get a balanced look at what's happening. Search isn't the best.

App is crap. I use the app to access the cryptic crosswords. Frequently I will be unable to access anything on the app as it thinks my subscription has been canceled, which it hasn’t. If I use a web browser I can access my subscription. I’m canceling my subscription and switching to the Guardian, a better cryptic, and a better app.

Love Times. This app is very efficient, & easy to use. The articles are spread amongst the app quite cleverly. The app is also well organized. The colors are brilliant too. In all the apps I’ve had the chance to use, this one is the best.,

No search option. I'd have given it five stars - for much of the same reasons as other reviewers - but it has an obvious and annoying flaw: there's no search bar. I have to open the Times website to be able to search. This problem needs to be fixed asap.

Moral Obligation. It should be a moral obligation to subscribe to independent newspapers. The Times I can trust on to deliver me the truth and at to represent both sides of the “argument”. It should be The Times that readers should choose.

No Dark mode, Can’t filter via sport. It’s 2022 & there is still no Dark mode for this app. I signed up for 6 months of the Times but I’m finding it unusable without dark mode. I won’t be renewing my subscription. You also can’t filter by topic, as in if you select sport, you can’t show all the football stories…you must blunder through all sports stories to find the individual sports story that might interest you. A terrible excuse for an app of a major publication.

Good information - when you can find it!. Love the journalism, but finding content is not at all intuitive if you want to see all articles e.g. Rugby in a sub category. They could take a serious lesson from the Telegraph app on that count.

Good news source hampered by annoying ads. Even as an American, this was my go to news source for two years as it allowed me to skip past the annoying day-to-day political annoyances of the U.S. and read news pieces that were not simply clickbait. This changed a few weeks ago when the app introduced annoying ads that require you to drag the text above or below (dragging the ad does not move the article along), a task made more difficult by ads that are nearly the height of my screen. Additionally, even with my ringer turned off, some ads play annoying music that completely destroys my trust in being able to discretely read the news. I’m especially bothered because I’m paying for the subscription; I should not have to contend with annoying ads in a payware app.

US subscriber.... ...for a few yrs...terrific content. Dont always agree with columnist’s thrusts yet thoughtful views causes one to learn, test, grow, and understand other views. Thank you for this publication!

High marks. Relief from repetitive drivel I get from US papers. Much more coverage of the world, especially what the Sovs are up to.

Journalism as it should be!!!!. I absolutely love The Times!!! I live in the California on US. Yet The Times is one of my favorites because of their quality news! I just wish you let your editions update on California time, PST, because I am always having to go to the previous issue over the 8 hour time difference. But definitely worth the bother!!! The Sunday Times is also equally as amazing!!

Comments seemingly not available. How, as an online subscriber, can I access the Comments and how can I make a Comment?

I’m a fan. I love reading The Times and The Sunday Times and all the inserts that go with them. All articles are so well-written and engaging. It’s like reading daily short stories. I’m a fan. The app makes it so easy. It works great. I can get to the stories easily. The app is so easy to maneuver. Straight-forward. I would highly recommend this app and the newspapers to all my friends interested in Great Britain’s view of British and global news.

Wonderful. I initially used it in my first year economics class to read business news and now i read the whole thing.

Objective, high quality journalism. I read the Times for high quality, objective journalism that keeps me informed. It describes in a critical and thought provoking way all sides of the story and issue. No fake news here!

Top rate app keeping us in America reported on news in the rest of the world. Easy navigation. Responsive links. Easy to understand headlines and menus. Plus, content that elucidates. What more can you ask for?

Enjoy the articles but comments section is broken. I’m an American reader and enjoy reading The Times—I love reading newspapers from different regions and countries. The comments section, however, has been broken since I downloaded and subscribed over a month ago.

Very good journos. Shame about the boss.. Like the last reviewer I live in California and appreciate the quality of the Times’ journalism and contributors. I read the comment section pretty much daily. It almost allows me to square the fact that Murdoch operates Fox News. But not quite.

Great to keep up to date with the News. I live in Australia and enjoy reading the news on The Times App. Easy to use. I miss the great weekend papers of the UK. This is one way to get some of that content!

Keeps me informed. I’ve been subscribing from Australia through Denmark and continue to now living in London... again. Informative and easy to use on iPhone & iPad. I do enjoy reading Readers Comments too (mostly on iMac) ... equally informative, sad, entertaining and twisted... great way to start & end the day... shows you how differently we interpret the news and understand ‘the world at large ‘. It’s about ‘Keeping up with The Times’ I guess !

Good but could be improved. The core app is great, and does exactly what it says on the tin. However, it is a bit behind the times. To enhance the app and user experience further, it should definitely offer the ability to, optionally, receive push notifications on breaking news and/or specific news categories. It’d also be great to be able to comment on articles (with the ability to upvote/downvote other readers comments) & engage with other readers. Many of The Times’ competitors have been offering these features for a long time now.

Dark mode. Please?

Terrible.. Poorly designed app. Layout is confusing. Why does the times and Top stories take up two of four tabs when they both have the same stories? Once you do find the world news tab (good luck) there's no way to further explore a country or topic etc. There's no way to follow a topic ie tabs. You constantly feel like you're not able to view all the stories that are on the website and for a subscription based service this isn't good enough. You can tell the know it's not working because they have a permanent headline explaining how to use it. If you want to see how a app should be done purchase the guardians app.

Horrible update. I used to laud this app, but this version is horribly buggy with continual freezes. Please update asap.

Easy to use. Easy to read thanks to great choice of font. Well set out. Wealth of information. Well done The Times

Andrew Farran. The App is easy to use, well set out, and most informative. It’s the best I’ve seen so far. Well done.

Good app. A chance to read the Times daily in Australia. Good writing, as expected. However, often doesn't update automatically, frustrating!

Landscape view please. App is fine but I’d really appreciate it more if I could view in landscape

No longer works offline. The new app needs an internet connection to work correctly. You can no longer download a complete newspaper to read offline. All images disappear once the internet connection is lost. Whoever decided that was a good idea needs to re-evaluate their position

...but for the ads!. This is a well presented app and easy to navigate. However, considering it’s a subscription online news service, it’s frustrating that ads appear mid article which disrupts flow and spoils the experience.

Not compatible with iTunes subscription of the newspaper. Rubbish. Why doesn't the app let you read the newspaper on iPhone if you have paid for a subscription through iTunes? it seems entirely pointless otherwise

Everything a newspaper app should be. As an expatriate living in Australia, this app enables me to keep in touch with what's happening in the UK and a balanced view of world news.

Want Irish news. I love this app but I do not want Scottish news id rather have Irish news how can we switch?

74% Could do better. Can't comment despite enquiring and having confirmed I hadn't been blocked. Also annoyed that my music disconnects because of the advertisements that intersect my reading. Otherwise I enjoy the content which is the most balanced on divisive issues as I have experienced, including the BBC, although that is a very mediocre and propped up entity. Well priced compared to the Telegraph and probably more balanced. Not keen on reading Matthew Parris or the Red Box (except for about 30%). But it's still my preferred source of UK news. Thank you.

Can’t cancel!. Be aware! I signed up to read a few things but if you’re overseas (like me) then you can’t cancel your subscription in the app! You have to ring them in the uk when it suits them! So now I’ve paid much more than I intended and feel ripped off. Avoid.

The only bad thing about the times is it’s ownership. I love Giles Coren’s articles - very amusing!

My favourite news app by a mile. There's nothing I can say about the Times that hasn't been said, but the app is a standout in functionality. I even like the phone app, which I would never normally say.

Good. differences between apps and internet annoying. The crosswords have different options (and puzzle availability) between the iPhone, iPad and internet. A bit annoying. Still everything works great.

Awesome. All the articles just pop up. Very impressive. Very easy to navigate around.

Good app with some quirks. Good, accessible app with lots of content. Strange that you can’t click on any hyperlinks in the text though. And no news alert function either. Still worth paying for though.

A solid, dependable app. Articles pop up as soon as you click. Everything is organised in a neat and tidy way. It feels clean and organic. Much better than most other news apps on my phone.

Being a bit picky here. Obviously use it for the content but the app could do with improving. Just use the New York Times app as the benchmark

Overall very good. Overall it’s very functional, clean and of course content is top notch. Some suggested improvements include making it easier to find things (e.g. book reviews) and stories that are written for the print edition can be a bit too short. I wouldn’t mind some push notifications about significant stories or interesting opinion pieces.

Be aware of the trial !!. I subscribed for the one month trial but didn’t like the fact that even as a subscriber the articles are populated with adverts. I cancelled the trial but Times took two months of subscription payments anyway, then refused to refund. You have to cancel the subscription in the App Store AND on your PayPal account (which they don’t tell you). Had to go to PayPal Resolution Centre to get the refunds. Be warned!

Why aren’t comments working on mobile?. ?

Amazon Empress. If it’s free ( GET )!why do we have to pay for it ?

Searching for book reviews. All I really want is a search facility on the phone app. Mainly for reviews of books. Do that and I’ll be happy

Knackerrd since latest update. iPhone 6. Cannot download today's edition. Can download yesterday's edition but stories only viewable until the first add (so first para) then they cut off. Crossword won't load due to an "App transport security policy" requiring a secure connection. Useless.

Clear and professional. Print or pdf article allowance please?. An elegant, clear and user friendly interface . Easy to navigate, intelligent use of fonts and colour in the design. I subscribe to a number of newspapers. The Financial Times allows subscribers to share a certain number of full articles with non-subscribers per month. This would be very helpful. I also think that it would win new subscribers to the TOL. Invariably, after I have shared the link with a non-subscriber that is busy, I will receive a text message back saying; “Paywall straight away, no time to faff with that”. A taste, prior to them requiring to enter an email and password and verify, a full article, would quite possibly tempt them in. Could we possibly be allowed a print function with the usual copyright caveats? For our own use? I’m old. I like to file interesting paper articles away in real folders for my own research 😉 👴.

Application is ok but wait until you to try and cancel the subscription. Applications works fine. Could use a dark mode. Company makes it awkward to cancel subscription. You have to phone their HQ, sit on hold for 15 mins, then refuse the four additional discount offers before they finally relent and cancel. Would be simpler to allow activation and deactivation of subscriptions through the app.

Amazing world coverage. I live in Canada, where world news is better than the junk from the US, but The Times beats all. Such a joy to read every day

Great App!. Living in Canada, I love catching up with UK news. Excellent coverage and comment!

Good app. A nice news app, clear and easy to use.... Gets five stars for not having horrible ads.

App run by Kafka. Times, which has great content, sends you daily email summaries. Even if you have the app and a subscription, when you click on one of those summaries to read further, it will ask you EVERY TIME to register. Though there is a “remember me” feature, it doesn’t seem to work. If you then go to the app to find the article, there appears to be NO SEARCH FEATURE. So you are left knowing there is twrrific content you are interested in, but no way to find it without completing a laborious registration effort each day. Get your departments working together!! Reviewed from an iPhone X

Awful app. This app is awful. Unable to download current or recent editions. I have deleted and reloaded the app twice without any change or improvement. I seem to remember another episode maybe nine months ago where the same thing happened on this app.

Does not work. Boots to first page ( no content) then crashes. Same crash before and after the latest IOS update. iPhone 11pro.

App not working?. On an iPhone 11 max pro! Opens and then freezes on first page. Can’t scroll, Cant make selections. Help.

VG. Great format, quality journalism, reasonable price. what’s not to like.

Great newspaper!. Always enjoy reading The Times, especially Sunday Times!

App works well to provide daily news updates. In an effort to keep a balanced worldview, I subscribe to many different newspapers online. The Times app works well, updates regularly & is easy to search. The different sections are easily identified through colour coding and overall the app presents the paper with simplicity and style.

Not letting me log in. I let my subscription expire a few weeks ago and I’ve recently repurchased my subscription, but the app doesn’t let me log in saying that my account was cancelled, despite already paying my subscription. I’ve tried logging in, restoring my purchase, restarting my phone and re-download the app, but nothing seems to work.

Excellent app. Living in Canada and I love the app-wish I could watch the videos and highlights of premier league but apart from that very good

Canadian/Scot. Great way to get the news at start of day... crosswords, sudoku ... it has it all

International subscribers underserved. This is another repeat: Very good app with the exception that free ebooks and some video cannot be accessed by international subscribers. No progress on this for years despite repeated messages and excuses from the Times. Reduce cost to adjust. No response from the Times. Perhaps times to unsubscribe.

doesn’t help the insomnia tho’. I’m in Canada, so the new edition arrives each day in the early part of the night. It’s such a compelling read that on those frequent nights when I wake up (such as now) at around 0300, I find it hard to put down my phone. The Times doesn’t always reflect my political POV, but who cares when the writing and reporting is so bloody excellent. And the app is brilliant and reliable.

A Daily Pleasure. One of the only news papers worth paying for. Top notch writing and a view that’s not fully converged to the liberal narrative. Shout out to Rod, Melanie and Giles. And of course you get Jeremy Clarkson. What’s not to love?

Great App. This app should be what other newspaper apps are like easy to navigate and few in your face advertising that keep on moving the text.

WCM. As a Canadian user I find this very well organized and updated. Contains far more content than most North American publications.

Latest update just crashes upon opening. The latest update of this app just crashes upon opening it. It is supposed to work on all devices running IOS 12.4 or later, a requirement my device meets. Please fix this. Addendum 2022.09.01 Latest update has corrected the problems. Thank you. I missed reading The Times!

Looks Nice; Could Be More Functional. Attractive, intuitive UI. No search tool? Also, would be nice to have the ability to email articles from within the app.

Not iphone 5 compatible. No iPhone 5 support! Outrageous for the subscription cost

Stopped working. Keeps crashing since Saturday. I have the latest version installed

App Upgrade terrible. With the apparent “upgrade”, unless you are constantly online, none of the images load. The old version would effectively download the edition. This is just amateur hour.

还没注册 就要登陆。登陆不上啊 郁闷. 怎么注册

App fails!. The Times is unquestionably the best news source in the world. However the app is a failure. I literally just downloaded the app and it said my free trial had expired. No free trial here! When I can afford the $13.99 per month subscription I'll consider it, but I cannot recommend the app.

Brilliantly Clear. I use The Times app to check on UK and world news. I complements the BBC news, but has significant cultural roundness with the magazine sections.

No 4" screen support on iPhone5. Please fix!

Great app. Not to mention it's free for now, finally a trustworthy news source in my iPhone!

Update from 10 Dec. Your update on 10 Dec has not fixed the bugs. My Times app now crashes as soon as I open it on my iPhone 12pro, iOS 14.2. Please update.

Useless. Paywall subscription required. Use one of the many other apps or the web. Why bother with this?

Ads galore. I am a paid subscriber yet I keep seeing video ads on the Times iPhone app. What is the point of paying for the subscription if I am bombarded with video ads every time I read an article?

Doesn't Work Anymore. Login screen pops up immediately upon opening and login info isn't recognized. Selecting restore purchase or new purchase gives an alert that reads "Product info not loaded. Try again later." I've deleted and reinstalled many times to no avail.

Poor app. The first time you use it you will like it. Then you pay for it and thereafter it asks for an email account and password which wasn't asked for when you purchased the app. Then you can't use it. Pathetic.

Great!. Liked it. But I got for free. No idea the price.

An American. Love all the excellent reporting!!

Great coverage. Love getting the Tines for the breadth of articles.

Only one drawback. Great content with only one drawback: the noisy ads that suddenly start playing and startle me as I’m reading in peace and quiet.

App is quitting when opened. Please fix

Clean iPhone app with great reporting underneath. The iPhone app is much, much better than its iPad counterpart. Clean navigation and lots of ways to slice and dice content based on interest.

Sub. App store won't allow purchase

Crapiest of crap. Practically inpossible to download corrent edition. It tells you "your edition is up to date" when you staring at articles a week old. Its really worst.

Search?. Search function please!

Comments broken. Comments haven’t worked for over a year — they briefly load and then vanish.

Useless search function. It would be nice to have a magnifying glass icon somewhere obvious. That’s how search works everywhere else.

Times of London. Loved having the Times to read so much that after the 30 day free trial I decided to subscribe. My app purchase went well until the next month. My payment went through but the Times has refused access. Their help line has been anything but helpful so guess that was money wasted.

Great app, needs better icon. The icon is low-res. Please adjust. Otherwise, the app itself is superb and has one of the best UI's in the business.

It just works. No bugs

Was great but now puzzles won't work. I've been using the app for some time and rated it highly but now the puzzles won't work. Answers cannot be typed in. Love the app for the news coverage.

Email articles. Please fix in sign in issue that everyone is talking about. But also - please include the ability to email links to articles and select text within articles. Thank you.

My number one news source. Love the app love the paper, worth every penny

Excellent Brexit Coverage. I am an American and live in the USA. I rely on the Times for thorough Brexit coverage. They are my go to source.

Easy way to follow the news. I enjoy reading the Times online on my iPhone. It feels like leafing through the print version, which I like. Good puzzles, too!

Extremely buggy app. Can’t subscribe to (or unsubscribe from) newsletters, registration appears to fail (but actually doesn’t), support chat doesn’t work… not a great experience for a new subscriber.

Best British newspaper app.. Remarkable speed and an ability to view news offline. Sadly costs money. I blame Mr Murdoch.

informative. i enjoy this app. i live in the usa and it’s one of the few apps that provide british news. i read daily. i find the articles are informative and well written. i look forward to each edition

Latest update crashes on iPhone 12. And now it doesn’t load. Deleted. Reinstalled. No more Times

It's useless. It's like the guardian news.. Except it's not free, even if you're an American. Hilarious, you don't even get to preview it to see if it's worth paying for it.

Excellent. I read it daily. A good source of evenhanded reporting.

Effectively Useless. I have to log in each time I use the app now which is an unnecessary pain and something I'm less willing to do each time. Will be reconsidering my subscription unless this is fixed.

Impressive User and Reader Experience. Seamless news and Seamless interfaces 👏

Not worth the new subscription price. The Times app was decent during the free trial. Now they want $14 a month to view content. It's not worth the price. I could see a nominal fee but the price seems way too hight for news you can get elsewhere for free. Don't bother.

Dark mode. Great app but isn’t time to enable dark mode in the app?

London times. Can't log on - support app info is just opportunity to subscribe. Very disappointing.

Give me my money back. This app was perfect for the first 30 days. Now I've paid for another 30-day subscription, but cannot access any content. Money down the drain, feh.

Different Perspectives. Are necessary to get a full picture of the news and the Times of London assists with this POV

Fix the sign-in issue!. Excellent app with great content and functionality, but having to sign in every day is extremely tiresome indeed, and I am becoming less willing to use it... Please fix this ASAP!

Great app!. I enjoy reading the news reported in the app and will be sorry when you start charging. Would be great to have coverage during the Olympics and the Jubilee. Maybe you can create a special app just for those events. From a US reader.

Doesn't quite work. I for one will not be renewing my subscription at this point but I sincerely hope more careful attention is paid to quality of this mobile application.
