OK for a iPad App. I used to use a spreadsheet so this is an improvement. I like the ability to add rows to lines. Would like to see some type of smart forms...tired of typing Starbucks over and over again...would like to see it recognize prior entries and allow for them to be autopopulated. Otheriwse decent app.

Update for iOS 11 -Create CSV by mail function not working. Updated app same day update was available for iOS 11 Tried creating CSV by mail for any acct- App either does nothing or the app closes. Emailed developer regarding issue with creating CSV in the iPad version of the app. The iPhone version of the app will create CSV with iOS 11 on iPhone and iPad (Pro 9.7) but have to use phone version of the app in portrait mode on iPad to see full screen. Emailed the developer same day I updated the app, haven’t received response yet (10-13-17)

Not working after 1day!. Day 1: entered my info, it kept closing on me, kicking me out of the app; Day 2: it won't even open... I would not recommend this app.

Doesn't work. Can't enter more than one recurring bill. Can't convert a recurring bill to a payment, have to make a new entry. I have 2 bills due on the same date, only one shows in calendar view. Cannot sync iPad app and iPhone app which really renders them both useless. I was so excited to find this app, as I had been using a spreadsheet, but I'm very disappointed that it just doesn't work as it should. So far zero response to emails. :(

Great app. I have used this app for a couple of years now to balance my accounts. I really like its simplicity and user friendly features. I would like to be able to move a transaction from one account to another (in case I create it in the wrong account), print my data, and purge a range of old data-currently have to delete one transaction at a time and adjust my balance (the more transactions entered on an account the slower it is to input and reconcile new transactions). Otherwise, great app!

Enhancements. Would like to see a line that totals monthly bills. Allows for email backup and restore. Good app and has potential. Thanks.

Simple and effective but needs work. It's a simple interface and easy to use. I would have preferred to see a feature that would auto sort transactions by date, and a field to write in a check number. Otherwise it does the job.

Has replaced my checkbook register!. Love it! I'm usually bad at the math portion of my checkbook and this takes care of it all. Would love to see sync between iPad and iPhone, and maybe a way to securely backup just incase of a crash... Like I said, this has replaced my paper checkbook register

Very good, but..... I like this app alot but..... I do not like that I cannot back-date bills that I forget to enter into the bills section. For instance, if I forgot to put an entry in for last months electric bill, and wanted to put it in now and show that it was paid a week ago, I can only date it today or in the future. I do sometimes forget to put them in until after it is actually due but I can't.. Also, why oh why do my entries on the ipad not sync to my iphone??? Are they not compatible? I also had to pay to install it on my iphone when I already had it on my ipad!!! Grrrrr... Please fix and you will get 5 stars!

A simple but effective app. I love this app! its just like using a paper checkbook except you don't have to do any math - it calculates the balance for each transaction. Also in a paper checkbook you can not rearrange the rows but in this app you can rearrange the rows to match the bank statement and that makes reconciling my bank statements sooooo easy and quick. And having all my bills in the same app makes it really convenient to keep track of all my finances. Another great feature is that when a bill payment is marked as paid a transaction can be added automatically in the account used to pay the bill.

Well done. It has a very helpful feature of automatically making a payment entry in the account when marking a bill as paid. So when marking a bill as paid you don't need to manually make a entry in the account you paid it by, its done by the app for you. There are other such well thought out features that make this app a real gem.

Don. Do not get this app. I would give it no stars if I could. The app has no password recovery ability. There is no back up ability. Your information id held hostage by the app. You and your information are at it's mercy. At best this is a beta for what could be a very useful app. At this point, it's not worth your time or money.

Love this update. I just love this app - it just keeps getting better with every update. Thanks for listening and adding the quickfill feature it is a great time saver. The inapp calculator is great new feature! don't need to leave the app to use a calculator. Great for calculating discounts and percentage changes. Hope the print feature will be coming soon.

Do not like the newest update!. I find very annoying that I can no longer enter amounts from the keypad but have to use the tiny calculator on screen. Extreme dislike! I have liked all pervious versions of this app, so this upgrade is a shame.

Excellent supplement. A very good app. Does what it claims, with style and simplicity. No errors nor glitches in the past few weeks of use. The developer seems to be taking Apples' approach to programing, do an excellent job in small steps at a time. Will e-mail a suggestion for app specific saving outside of iTunes backup, though I suspect it's already being planned. A worthy supplement to online banking. Highly recommended.

Needed improvements. Interface is nice. Needs pending balance and option to print, email, or at least export as PDF. Without these it is functional, but very weak. At that point, I can offer better star count.

Great time saver. I was just delighted by this app into writing this review. I have always hated balancing my checkbook but this app really makes getting that chore done very easy. Just enter you transactions and when you get the bank statement just update the entries order to match the order in the bank statement and thats it! the app calculates balance for each row so you can see the balances match up right away. I am so glad I got this app its such time saver.

Report/chart doesn't work. I've entered several bills and each time I click the icon to show a chart/report it kicks me out of the application. Disappointed.

Great App. I have been using this app for about 5 months now. It does everything I need it to do for reconciling my bank account. Easy to use, easy to maintain, no bloated extras. Well done!

Oh Crap!. I love this app and have relied on it for several years to manage multiple bank accounts. Much to my dismay, I’m now locked out following my update to IOS 11. Please update the app so I can recover my data and continue to use this great app!

Perfect, but needs update. Literally a perfect app, but the version I have is for the iPhone. I just bought the iPad 10.5, the iPad version of the app however needs to be updated so it will work with future versions. Sonmbol LLC, PLEASE update your app. I use it every week for my financial balancing. UPDATE: One of the most important features you can have on an app like this is to have it attached to the iCloud, or to be able to transfer data to a new device somehow. This *does* have the latter feature, but it’s broken for the iPad. I literally have years of data to transfer, but can’t. Despite this app being possibly the most simplistic ledger, which makes it wonderful, the developers are terrible with upkeep. Lowering rating until it’s fixed.

Like it!. like the app but needs to have a balance column showing deductions of pending checks......I was looking to use this to replace a paper check register.....without that column, it doesn't. hoping the app designer puts in a fix so I can give it 5 stars!!

Everything in one place. This app is great for keeping my accounts and for listing my bills. Only missing an export feature - would be helpful if I could send to email.

Very useful app. I've been using this app almost from when it came out and ever since then, all my accounts balance without an hour of figuring where I went wrong. Of all the checkbook apps I've tried, and I've wasted more money than I care to count on them, this one is the best. Save your money and get this one first. Also, it's really nice that they respond to questions and requests for improvements rapidly.

Mr. OCD. Been using this app for some time now. I was very happy with it until the most recent update. Now you can't change the current date on new entries. You have to complete the entry then go back in and edit in order to change the date. It wasn't like that before the recent update. PLEASE PLEASE fix this and I will gladly give it more stars.

Update to ios 11. I lost my account information when I updated.

Almost perfect. This Apps "Accounts" section is great. Easy to use and fast. However, the "Bills" section is another story. If the following concerns could be addressed this would be my go to accounting App and a 5 star. 1 - No back up feature, this is fatal. 2 - Bills section is clumsy, somewhat confusing, and entering re-occurring bills is odd.

One of my favorite ipad apps, updated for ios 11. This is one of my favorite ipad apps. Simple to use and helps me keep a log of all my bank and credit card transactions. When I updated my ipad to ios 11, I was disappointed that it doesn't work anymore. I sent an email to the developer and they promised to update it for ios 11. And now the update is here.

Good app. I think this app definatly has room for improvement. I like having bills and accounts on the same app. I would like to see a way to orginize account by type or custom say like kids accounts, savings.... and such. this app definatly does its job. oh and a way to see pending taken out of the total. my bank counts the pending as part of he balance which throws that balance in the app off. also an awesome feature would be to add an option for future payments. say you pay rent but it hasnt posted on the account but you want to add it to see if your covered (math mistakes do happen) but not added to the main balance. I will change it to 5 stars if these features are added. otherwise it is a great app. and I am happy with it. the feature to move payments p and down to match the account is worth it alone. love that feature.

No customer support. Really disappointment. This is very basic and too much work to use it.Tried to get a response from customer support and they don't response. I recommend Account2 checkbook.

Wonderful app!. I was happily surprised at the simplicity and ease of use this app. It has a clean and uncluttered look and also highly functional. Changing from using my paper checkbook to using this app took no time at all and was very natural. Bill tracking in the same app is a real bonus. I really like the way bills can be sorted by due date and also the total amount due at the top. The bills displayed on the calender helps me to plan out my payments (thanks).

Sbm5. Have used this app for quite a while. Love it and find it very useful. But a simple calculator would definitely make it a five star. I always have to leave app to do my calculations. Also, I too have a problem with the 'Bills' portion of app.

Good start. This app is a good start for simple check register entry. Most frustrating part is not being able to enter bills directly into the check register as you pay them. You shouldn't have to enter it into the bills section and then re-enter it in the check register. What is the point of the bills section if you can't automatically enter into the register?

Taken away. I purchased this app with my first generation iPad. I take care of my things and have found absolutely no reason to have to buy another iPad. My iPad is not broken. The screen isn't scratched. It works perfectly fine. Now, the developers of this app have made it impossible for me to use their app, which I purchased, on my iPad. I wanted to give them one star, but I know that the app is good. It just doesn't do me any good if I can't access it anymore.

Better off using a paper register. Not at all what I was looking for. It is simply a checkbook register that keeps track of the balance. It doesn't really help you reconcile your checkbook and there is no way to import your bills to your accounts.

Sync?. I love the app but it lacks sync capability between IPhone and IPad. I will give it 5 stars if this capability is integrated into the next update

Ok.. But needs work. I bought this to replace a rather antiquated app which helps me keep track of account balances and determine if I have entered them into my budget. This app is ok, but it lacks some very basic functionality. You can't amend an accounts name once it's been entered. There is no way of marking an account as savings or credit card. The transactions only list from earliest to latest.. I want to see the other way around.. And lastly.. The biggest thing missing is an ability to add a note on the transaction.. Seriously it's useless without this. I misread the description which said you can add notes to mean on the transactions, buts that's only notes on the accounts. I need to be able to mark a transaction with a note so I know what it was for to enter it into a budget later. I regret the money spent on this, and will head back to my old app for the foreseeable future.

Good App. Been using this App for around three years and found it performed well for basic day to day tracking of funds. The only negative is that data is not tracked across all devices so that only the input device is useable.
