NAB Mobile Banking Comments & Reviews 2026

Basic use of fingerprint ID doesn’t work. Added in fingerprint authentication bust still asks for a password. What’s the point?

Again no customer service. Where the customer service? I’m trying to pay the CC from overseas and I can’t! Why?

Change banks first!. History -for credit cards at least- only goes back to March 2014. So you can make payments and see recent transactions but it's useless for actually managing your accounts. Stick to paper.

Keeps crashing when I authorise bill payment. Normally this app is ok but when I authorise a bill payment it keeps crashing. NAB expects me to pay them on time just like other billers.

Account Disappeared. Three stars because the app is normally ok but recently my account just disappeared, try and log in and it says I don't exist. I can log in fine on a web browser. I'm uninstalling and installing again to try again. Weird.

Really really buggy. Works well but only when it connects properly! Often tells me the website isn't available, then kinda connects, sometimes hangs on a white screen with the spinning icon trying to load. Have to reset iPad to make it work. Please fix!

Frustrating. Try logging in says i have to register for on-line banking. Have been on- line banking for years. Cancelled and trying again PS world’s third most frustrating exercise? Trying to reach customer service at NAB! Second, try to phone your back and someone answering! First, bring promised a call back and waitng for it - it never happens!!!

Poor service. NAB in general provides a poor service from a local and global standpoint. The site design is inadequate and the level of communication from NAB is very poor. They take extended periods of time to answer the phone then shift the caller from one department to the next, even for simple tasks. NAB finds it difficult to send emails, that are related to important matters, or make calls to customers on time and on schedule. When I compare my experience with other banks I have business with NAB is by far the lowest performing institution I have ever dealt with.

Used to be better. I'm disappointed in the change of design and location of the app. It was much easier and nicer to use before changing it to using a menu to have all of the features in that location This makes it slow and adds nothing to the app. It also broke the ease and convince of the pin and has no clear instructions on how to remove the pin and have to readd it.

Worst banking app I've ever seen in my life. I think one has to login first in order to rate this app but, on the go and using a 3G connection, this app is a big flop. Since I've downloaded this app I've never been able to login to this app to actually view my business account. This app will make me switch banks as majority of my work is on the go. It just sits there with a white page and doesn't go past that point to actually ask me for my login credentials. Please fix the app before you loose potential customers.

Cust serv. Impossible to close accounts not opened!

Unbelievably bad. Unacceptable quality. When doing a funds transfer, if there is some error, the website would give a popup warning. However in this app it will just log u, without explaining what the error is... So u keep trying repeatedly in vain.. Lame app, fix otherwise better to have no app. Easier to just go to the website

Pretty poor. No access to my NAB credit card statements using this app - makes it pretty worthless. Where's touchID support?

Poor app and online service. I am currently overseas for work and had to buy a new phone. I logged into the app and because it’s a new phone sent a code to my Australian phone number which I don’t have here. Went the the chat line and just couldn’t get through to speak to a human. Like most AI products it just goes in circles. BTW, with limited ability to call Australian numbers maybe you should get a toll free number, you gouge millions out of Australians as it is, maybe try being helpful to customers

Log in info just disappeared. My log in info disappeared and I cannot access bank info via the app any more. They say to log in through the website to fix the problem but that doesn’t work. I’m happy with NAB otherwise, but their app situation really needs some work.

Not user friendly. NAB App is not that user-friendly. It does not allow you to change information on the fly, including bank credit card transactions amount limits, etc. as a lot of other banking apps. You need to investigate the commonwealth bank app.

NO STAR. You do not deserve even one star. Now there's one more tap to get to IB, before the 4 digit passcode screen. I knew I shouldn't have expected anything good from you.

Works for checking balance on the go. With the pin it's quick, and easy access anywhere. Does exactly what I downloaded it for

Signs of improvement but.... For whatever reason, the whole NAB has been stuck in the stones ages on the IT front for a long time. The level of services with their iOS app and web netbank just can not compare with their competitors. Whilst recent and this version of the app has been moving in the right direction, it's still way behind in terms of functionality and usability. The present version is ok and seemed to be stable, there's still a lot more work needed. As for the latest functionality to order PayTag on the app, it's another evidence of NAB's lag. A joke when ApplePay is working well for my Amex and other O/S debit cards.

Crashes too often - Needs update. Good app - when it works. Crashes waaaaay too often. Otherwise it does as it should - i.e. displaying account balances and can perform transfers. However needs to be able to add new transferee account through app. The whole point is to be mobile, and if out with friends and needing to transfer to each other on-the-go, the process needs to be more streamlined. And they need to fix the new pass code login option - it crashes every time.

Does what it says. Works well. So far does exactly what it says. A convenient way to manage my NAB accounts.

Needs work. Touch ID login is needed No way near as good as commbank

Messaging. I find the new messaging system impossible to get an answer from. The automated information is ridiculous to get around.

💰 A universe of opportunities: Payoneer

Getting better and better. The NAB app is getting better and better. It is far more streamlined than what it used to be. Could do well to update how payments appear in list and transfers not appearing as a bunch of numbers. The lag between app notifications needs looking at. This seems to only occur with bank transfers internal or external. Purchases are on the spot. Should be able to rename your account immediately as well as remove accounts from the app. Closing savings accounts etc should be able to be performed inside of the app and not just directed to staff. Also the ability to create recurrent payments through payid and also intelligence that can recognise when you have recurrent payments and calculate these for you. If you look at the UP banking platform they do this week. I hope to see further improvements and tweaks in the next few week.

Annoying message popped out each time when I opened the app. I had submitted online ID verification. And it showed verification was successful, but the message to ask for ID verification still popped out. The most ridiculous thing is that the message describes that visiting the bank in person can be accepted. This afternoon 30th of May 2024, I visited the bank and the clerk verified my bank card and drive license, but he still needed make the phone calls. I have been waiting for 45 minutes, no one answered the phone. It is a bad experience in NAB. I don’t know when the problem can be resolved. The ability to provide quality services is in doubt.

Happy Banker. I’ve been banking with NAB for around 15 years now. Prior to that I’ve had accounts with CBA, ANZ & Westpac & find NAB hands down best of the bunch. If I have had issues with scammers of money withdrawn from my account they are straight on the ball, notifying me before I’ve noticed twice & it’s never taken longer than 3-4 wks for it to be rectified but usually within 2 weeks. Couldn’t be happier. It’s also been a godsend when I lost my identification as the girls knew me in branch & saved me a lot of lost sleep & anxiety

Can’t transfer Funds. I have just recently purchased an iPhone 11. Since setting it up I can’t transfer funds anywhere it says enable payments on this device. I checked on the nab internet login my payments have been enabled and my cash transfer increases is high. I have uninstalled this app 6 times and reinstalled but to no avail, I even went to my local Nab and they couldn’t help me. It is so frustrating as I have to login on the internet banking via google to transfer funds.

In App Live Chat. The person who helped me on the app chat was prompt and answered my question - no complaints with the consultant. However, the live chat is not very user friendly. Why do I need to wait with my app open to keep my spot in the queue? Even if I leave the app open for 10 minutes without touching it I get kicked out for inactivity. It is just really inconvenient and it would make me rather call instead. Overall the service was great but I feel it would be more with the times to be able to exit the app and wait for a notification to let me know someone has replied

Payid. Nice to see this Payid option, just returned from Europe and all family and friends were using Tikkie, which is most likely the same and everybody there loves it, uses it all the time when going out for coffee or lunch etc. I think Payid could have a more catchy name. Tikkie comes from when as a child you played tag, we would say Tikkie when we touched in that game. so here it could be Taggy!? I will use it and tell my friends about it, because we don’t use cash and if you have to pay a friend you always round it off so this is better. But Yes get a catchy name and do some advertising and I am sure Aussies will love it too!

Great way to bank. So many excellent self-serve features - keep up the great work! Simply to provide some feedback: 1. Handling of failed osko transfer was not obvious to me the first time around regardless of the popup message (I had to double check with the receiver to make sure they ended up actually getting paid into their osko incompatible account). 2. Please let me “paste” into the Reference attribute during payment - I can paste into Description ok. This is often used to paste in invoice numbers etc.

User friendly. Indeed, it appears that the National Australia Bank (NAB) app is focused on user-friendliness, convenience and smooth navigation. From the dashboard displaying a snapshot of your financial status at a glance, to the easily navigable menus for more detailed actions such as fund transfers and loan applications, the app's design prioritizes simplicity and ease of use. Key features like 'Transfer' or 'Payments' buttons are positioned intuitively, simplifying the process for users to carry out basic banking tasks. More complex tasks are also made manageable with step-by-step assistance. Furthermore, with readily accessible help and support options, users can quickly find solutions to any issues or queries, enhancing the overall user experience. By aligning their app design to common banking app principles, NAB has made its app a tool that is not only secure, but also straightforward and convenient to use.

User friendly easy to navigate app. Not sure why so many ppl have whinged and whined about this app- perhaps it is as simple as hypothesising that most people who provide feedback are generally grumpy folk who are always looking at the glass half empty..? I don’t know”... (pls I have NO intention of offending anyone so sincere apologies if I have failed in this task)” - it works as a banking app should; easy to navigate, user friendly etc. I’ve grown up with the computer age - tail end of Gen X - so I feel that I have a good sense given in my Yr 4 classs aabout such matters (others may beg to differ - not perturbed; I’m a Senior P Syc and in my experience the majority of people who write reviewes tend to be those who hAve nothing good to say and those people are generally - in my professional and personal experience.

Had problems with quick balance but. After leaving one star review, they actually contacted me and suggested a fix or quick balance which actually worked. One thing I can also suggest is making transfers more user friendly. Example. If I'm already viewing transactions for let's say a savings account and I select transfer, you'd think the app would be programmed to assume that since I'm viewing said account, that's where I'm transferring from. Instead you need to select transfer from regardless what screen you're in. Probably just an inconvenience as my previous bank app did it and I just haven't gotten used to this way.

Some improvements needed. It’s a bit of a headache trying to follow where my purchases were made on the correct day, when NAB lists them as the day the money was Taken from my account. eg. Purchase on Sunday is listed as a transaction for Wednesday a few days later. It makes it confusing for quick and accurate record keeping. Please follow ING’s example as they keep transactions clear and simple, including the name of merchant, time of purchase even when the transaction is pending. The date of purchase is not muddled up. Also notifications for when money is deposited would be great, so I don’t have to constantly log in to check. Thank You.

Worst UX of the big 4. UX is unintuitive - easily the worst of the big 4 banks. If you want to change date range to view more than 30 days of transactions no obvious way to do it. Say change “Date range” at the bottom but not link where to change. If go to … More and Search and look for date range gives incorrect answers like “Spending” where you can change the filter but for the spending overview and graph. App wants to dump you out and log you into Internet Banking for simple tasks like viewing essential things like letters NAB send you for communications. Can’t be that hard…

Login functionality not working. Having logged out of the app on my phone, I no longer seem to have the option of setting a pin for the app or using Face ID. Just having to use a Password all the time which is a bit cumbersome. The app itself is great, just frustrating to get into at the moment. Went through steps on the phone to get Face ID working, you have to go into profile on the app and then security settings, then turn it on.

Apple Watch App is extremely buggy and basically broken. Every time I try check my balance on the Apple watch, it takes a couple of minutes to load. Most of the time it fails completely and logs you out of the iPhone app as well. Majority of the time I just have this app uninstalled. It’s completely unreliable to check your balance. I’ve had no issues with the main iPhone app. Just issues with Apple Watch.

Features?. Nabtrade has a nicer, cleaner, bolder appearance than the actual NAB banking app, it has a sleek intro with the loading effects. The NAB app though is a little behind the times. We need: - Auto login - FaceID for payments (opposed to passwords) - PAYID save in address book (Westpac & ANZ Plus support this) - Sleeker UI - Able to rearrange accounts - Able to hide/close accounts in IB - Spending habits on intro screen or at least main screen after login - Dark mode There is so much that could be achieved to better one live the user experience, NAB seems to lack toe motivation to bring “better” to its customers, it’s stuck in its old outdated ways - where is the innovation they like to aspire to? I don’t see it. It’s one thing to promote your values of innovation but when you’re well behind the crowd in the space of innovation, people start to question whether those values are truly upheld.

Disappointed. The NAB app works well for the stuff it is meant to do. However I was disappointed to find out that many other banks show more details about transactions and where they are from thank NAB does, and often when I spent money it is simply shown as “eftpos debit”, then I have to figure out where I spent that money. I have also seen that many other banks have the feature of showing how much money you have spent on food etc. which NAB doesn’t do. I would love if they could incorporate something like this into the app that allowed you to monitor how much money you wanted to be spending on certain things. Overall, the app works pretty well but is missing a few features that other banks incorporate into their apps, which is quite disappointing on NABs part.

Set a spending limit in credit card. Other banks have the ability to set a spending limit in credit cards. This is helpful in preventing fraudsters and scammers from taking large amounts off your credit card as you can set the limit for a certain amount above the current balance. It is most helpful if you are able to freq change the spending limit as you use the credit card. This would be an excellent feature for NAB to consider including in phone banking app.

Hello....is there anyone out there?. You can tell how much NAB really care about their app users by how quickly they respond to the many App Store reviews. In case you can’t tell NAB this is sarcastic. I noticed a news article today about how much NAB is doing to improve the app - hey NAB, how about you listen and respond to users?! I’ve been using the app for 6 months. It’s ok but not on par with CBA or ING. BUT....I’ve been asked to login again ‘for my security’, the message says my Touch ID is correct but I still need to login again. Um what? Has something happened with my account that I need to be worried about my security? If not this seems like overkill NAB as no other bank I’ve ever been with does this. I would appreciate a response to this review or the in app feedback I submitted.

Visa card. Hi, for some unknown reason I did not receive a printed statement of my Visa card for September in the mail and had to go into the app to check my transactions, but only got past the last six transactions and couldn’t look at any more! so I had to go into your chat room and get the girl to tell me what to do. please make sure I get a hard copy in the mail from now on as I don’t have a computer & don’t have the time to go through this for Half an hour every month. Regards Judy Low

Apple Watch App issue. I like the mobile app, it does everything that I’d expect it to do. The Apple Watch app though has never worked for me. I’ve tried it on a Series 2 and a Series 3 Watch, but all I ever see is the “loading balances” screen or a message saying “balances aren’t available, give it a go in a minute.” (I’ve “given it a go in a minute” but no change) I’ve tried uninstalling the app on both my phone and the watch, deactivating and reactivating quick balance, rebooting the phone and watch, tried it on 4G and Wifi, updating iOS and WatchOS and even factory resetting the watch (I’d rather not FR my phone just for the sake of one app). Nothing I do will allow the watch to show me balances. Hoping someone from the devs might be able to help because NAB themselves would just tell me to do the above. Currently using an iPhone X and an Apple Watch Series 3 (all updated of course) and the app on both devices are up to date.

Problem with Quick Balances. Quick Balances won’t work on multiple iOS devices. Works on iPhone and one iPad but won’t word on iPhone and two two iPads. You need to turn quick balances on/off in app settings to get it to function on that iPad; then then the other iPad won’t work (asks you to wait a minute/reload) until you reset that one through the NAB app again - then the first one drops out again. Quite annoying. Hopefully NAB will fix this issue with an update. Otherwise it’s a good app. Update to review. Thanks NAB for your response. Clearing the history and website data and deleting and reloading the app seems to have resolved this annoying issue. Thanks again. 5 stars now.

Disabling touch log in after every update. Why is it that every time you update the app you disable the touch entry??? I then have to go and find my NAB ID and password to log in and reenable touch entry. When I enter password it tells me that my profile cannot be found. So I have to tell the app I have forgotten my password, which then prompts me for my NAB ID and new password. So I enter my password that wasn’t accepted the first time and it tells me that I cannot change my password to the existing password!!!!! WHAT!!!!! Once again it can’t find my profile when I try to login. Delete the app and reload it again seems to fix the problem. But once again I have to go and find NAB ID and password. !!!

Wrong balance display, blocked from account funds, card replacement.. An account that shows I have funds in balance, suddenly shows no funds when I want to transfer. I have transferred funds previously with no problems but now I don’t have access. Not happy. On occasion, the funds balance shown do not match what has been added or removed. ( this is not due to funds that haven’t cleared.) Previously tried to order a new card. Would not let me because apparently there is another account holder on my account. I presented at local branch for name change with correct documents. I’m assuming they added a name instead of changing it. Not impressed.

Someone stuffed up!. I have used the NAB app since it was first released & have happily used it on a daily basis to keep track of my personal banking. With each new function added the app became more & more suited to my needs. Now though that has changed, for some reason my ability to see my quick balances has been affected because I, apparently, haven’t logged in for over 90 days. The funny thing is that my app usage hasn’t changed, I still check in on an almost daily basis. This error is really starting to frustrate me.

Excluding. I cannot update the app. NAB has CHOSEN not to allow iPhone 6 to continue using the last version. Apple supports use of 6 by all other versions being active, you cannot update for added features. All basic needs are still supported through Apple. NAB has decided not to take that option. Banking needs to be available to all. NAB is excluding customers based on their financial ability to pay for the newest technologies while charging people to use teller services. If this is how NAB insists I do banking then why is do they not offer interest free loans to buy electronic equipment they are forcing people to require? I am a home owner and this is the first app that will not support 6. It is an important app. NAB is using technological privilege to discriminate against those without privilege. I’m a home owner which gives privilege, yet I still am harmed. I cannot imagine how hard and unjust it feels for others. This app move might seem small but knowing the choices they had it feels as if it is showing NAB’s true feelings about their customers that are middle and lower economic status. Or they are that our of touch

Ease of use. The ease & use of this app is awesome the fact that I can control many details & functions is ver good. Otherwise these functions generally aren’t available to change or customise. Very good also helped a lot that one of my important details was on the card as it’s usually not. Meaning I have to call the company to get the details or write it down on something I’ll loose. So 5 out of 5 for me with this app.

“Deposit Made” push notification?. I like this app as it’s simple to use and transferring is easy. I’ve used it domestically and internationally with no hassles whatsoever- it was great! What I miss from when I was with Bankwest was receiving a push notification when a deposit was made into an elected account. I know you can set up Quick Balance, but I don’t like the idea of having my elected balance displayed to anyone who may hold my phone. It would be highly beneficial for the app to send me a push notification when a deposit has been made into my account- for example, this is incredibly handy when I’m waiting on my pay to come through and I wouldn’t have to keep checking my account.

Not bad, one major flaw. The app is pretty good but it really could better integrate the credit card account. It would also be great to have a calculator to see how much I’ve paid off my bill and how much is left when I’m paying from different accounts. EDIT: the developers have helpfully pointed outed that you can find credit card payment information in the app, so my review was wrong. Thanks for highlighting the error. I still think there is room to improve credit card integration - as above, itemizing expenses and perhaps a calculator to help as you see how much of the closing statement is left when paying from multiple accounts. The App Store suggests some of these features may exist, but I’ve been unable to find them.

Account balances not loading. App has been good up until about 1 month ago when the Home Screen stopped loading account balances. I rang customer support and did all the usual things like clear history on Safari then deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. Still no luck. Keeps coming up with a red message in each account saying that account totals can’t load and to refresh to retrieve totals….which doesn’t work. The same message remains. When I select an account the balance and transactions do appear, just not on the summary home page where you want to see an overview of your accounts. Anyone else experiencing this issue recently and are the technical support guys aware of this issue? What else can I do?

User friendly and easy to navigate. The interface is quite good and easy to use, all the main information is on the home screen and can navigate through the menus. Quick balance allows to know themwithout opening the app completely bu logging in. One recently change that i personally don’t like is moving the log out button to the bottom of the screen, previously it was on right top of the window and could easily log out, now it takes a bit longer due to scrolling down to the bottom and log out.

What happened to being able to see your money tracking on the app. So what happened today to NABs “new and improved” money tracking feature being accessible from within the app?? (not sure who told NAB that it was improved, but it’s not - now you don’t get a pie graph visually showing you where you’ve spent your money for the month and can’t as accurately categorise items. In fact it even told me my husband spent $260 at a liquor store recently, when it was actually Woolworths...) Glad I can still move between accounts and to other accounts with the app. Also very glad I can now save my sellers details for the next time I want to transfer to them.

Unblock. I like how it’s keeping my current balance in check, how is telling me my purchase, deposits, withdrawal etc. but my problem is the block account switch! I was testing out the block card option and the when I decided to unblock it after a few minutes it continues to appear blocked! It notified me saying my account is unblocked and I can make purchases again but the screen tells me otherwise. The switch is still on block mode and no matter how many time I switch it, it’s still saying I can make purchases all while showing me it’s on block. What is this a bug!?

No Apple Pay Pay? Not happy!. I never bother to rate apps but this was an exception! Very unsatisfied customer due to lack of Apple Pay Integration all whilst nab’s New Zealand based subsidiary (bnz) introduced it quite a few months ago. Perhaps after nab complete their branch shutting program (already received two letters detailing closures) & have scoured the world to find 2,000 digital workers (good luck), inducted them & had their first scrum, perhaps then they may consider the customer experience benefits associated with Apple Pay integration! Although I hope by then Apple have pivoted deeper into financial services/payments which will allow me to roll up my collar, put on the voice of famous French soccer player Eric Cantona, and say a big and fond “au revoir!”, just as the sun sets over the French Riviera! 👋

Stupid people demanding Apple Pay. Just read a review where an irate person is leaving NAB to have Apple pay at ANZ. ANZ was the worst bank I have ever dealt with and I refuse to go anywhere near them again. They even refused to honour some Travellers Cheques I tried to cash a few years back even though the Cheques were underwritten by ANZ themselves. So hope you enjoy your time with them and that you see what they are really like. I have accounts at the three biggest banks and have had great customer service at my local NAB. Best of the big 4 overall and best interest rates without having to lock in your money for a long term although the CBA has the best App.

Front page too busy. The recent update made the front page to busy with no real use. There’s a logo then a personal greeting, I don’t need my banking app to have hello taking up space it’s an app not my mate. The majority of the front page is empty white space and information I don’t need at a glance. Then there’s poor use of available space and information NOT NEEDED on the front page. Account & balance is all I want to see at a glance, further information I will open the relevant account for. As it is I have to scroll to see account balances and information that was available at a glance before.

Transfer funds between accounts. You have no idea how annoying it is to get hit with transfer fees when I transfer funds between accounts but you’ve always been rip-off merchants & perhaps you should look at altering that for the disadvantaged in society like myself. I survive on a disability pension & do you really need to be grinding money out of the vulnerable in the community. So this is why you’ll never get any more than one star review out of me & if you even did your reviewing properly then we should be able to give you no stars, if indeed that’s how we felt. So if 3 stars on average satisfies you then I think you should be disgusted with that result because some like me would give you none & therefore at best your around 2 1/2 stars on average.

I like it when it works. It is a convenient app most of the time, but inexplicably every so often log in fails with a message that the profile can’t be found and no solution is offered or found. It took a trip the bank itself to be told to delete the profile and start over, which is ok if you remember the password. This is frustrating when wanting only to check balance before attempting to use the debit card. As said, when all is working it’s good for my needs.

Dates inaccurate. Mostly good but as time has gone on, the dates of purchases have gone out of whack.. which is a problem if I need to dispute a purchase or know the date I transferred money. I buy something, it comes up as normal. Then next day it says it it was purchased that day when in reality it was the day previous (eg purchased on a wednesday, on thursday it says it was purchased thursday, or even a few days previous). The purchases were not at 12am or later. Very annoying so I’ve had to re-download the app and hope it sorts itself out.

Low internet issues. I use this ap on an iPhone SE and 13.. both connected to the same country “fixed wireless” NBN… the nbn it’s self fluctuates wildly with the weather… but more and more I’m finding with many aps “updates” I’m loosing functionality…. With the NAB ap- I can’t use the SEARCH function! On iPhone 13 (but on SE I can) .. I get an error message “something’s gone wrong” And the “support” tab- also doesn’t work- on my newer phone. What’s the point of updates if they’re useless with low/slow/patchy internet And yes- I’ve turned it off an on again. I even deleted and reinstalled the ap- zero difference made. People wonder why I have two phones… THIS is why.

No Date & Time a Transaction Took Place. The app is very well designed and intuitive, and looks appealing. Has the ability to do most things in the app, though some things are only available on internet banking instead. The main issue I have is that transactions move around. They first get the date the transaction took place, then suddenly when it settles, the date changes. Why? In a time where money moves so fast and it’s all digital, why are we still interested in the post date? So I’m asking, please label transactions with the date and time the transaction took place; that will make this app 5 stars easily.

Wifi. How come since last night I can’t open my NAB mobile banking on my home wifi? I keep getting told that no internet is detected and to try later Every other internet app - Facebook , Comsec, AFL etc - on my phone works in my wifi but NAB doesn’t . I have completely switched off the phone and rebooted as advised by NAB internet banking support , it but it still won’t get NAB on wifi . As soon as I turn wifi off the App works in 4G network . When I stay in wifi and go to the App Store to download the NAB App again , it just tells me there is no internet access - straight turns in an IT circle When you rate this site with one star it won’t let you submit the review and says the nickname is already taken . I put in Wfedwded as a nickname and got the reply that it was already taken !!!!!

Mr J. I’m no web wizard but their security through the app is top class, I find myself bothered by their seemingly incessant security checks sometimes and that tells me they’re doing it right haha have used other banks and banking apps but I know if someone steals my phone they won’t be able to do any banking. Although In the case of theft, one could definitely go on a spree with Apple Pay and using the digital card if the phone was unlocked or the said thief had the passcode. Anyway. App good. Me happy.

Quick Balance Issue. Mine also won’t show the quick balance, tells me I haven’t logged in for 90 days - which is absolutely inaccurate lol - and tells me to login which does nothing to fix the issue. This just started happening today for me, I have made no changes to my phone (iPhone 8). Just noticed this app did update today though. EDIT: For anyone else reading reviews for help the developer replied to another to turn off quick balance in settings, save and then turn back on. This worked for me.

ZERO says it all :(. Using the NAB app controls I wanted to access a $1000 cash advance from the CC, which it didn’t allow. Thinking I had a daily credit limit I used the app to change it to $1500 only to find out I reduced my CC limit to $1500 from its original limit which the APP changed instantly… Trying to reverse this error the NAB app runs you through a new application to increase my CC limit back up to my original limit. Ring them to fix it but NO can’t do that you have to apply for a new credit limit despite NAB already having my information and approved amount for 3 years. So now to get back to my original approved credit limit from years ago, I have to apply again for the same limit under a NEW APPLICATION which in turn will affect my credit report. Im annoyed that in 2023 NAB can’t fix a simple misunderstanding of the NAB APP function which the app can change in an instant but can’t reverse it in an instant. The other is my credit report is going to be affected… My simple solution Is because NAB doesn’t allow an easy fix and that I have to apply for a new increase, I’m better off applying with another bank that probably has better systems in place.

Great app, couple of suggestions. Hey team great app for banking, a couple of suggestions: 1 For cc repayments would be good to know if you have paid off the statement closing balance and not just the minimum monthly 2 Any way I can imitate a closure of account online? Thanks team! *Update* Thanks yea I know there are those three options. At the moment it gives you a green tick when you have met your minimum monthly, my suggestion is to do the same when you have met your statement closing balance.

Annoying logout bug but otherwise great. I'm having problems with the NAB app since updating my iPhone XR to iOS 14. Since the most recent iOS releases and patches the NAB app will randomly log me out. It basically signs me out and 'forgets' my login details and all my customised settings (passcode, FaceID, notifications, quick balance, widget...) and I'm not doing this myself. It will take me to the initial set up screen when you first downloaded the app with the options to "log in" or "join NAB". I have to then manually enter my NAB ID & password and go through and turn on remembering my NAB ID, enable passcode, FaceID, turn on notifications, location services, increase device limit etc. No other apps on my device are affected. I've deleted and reinstalled the NAB app and restored my iPhone to factory settings, then re-installed the NAB app again and it's still happening. It's not all the time, and it hasn't happened before the latest iOS/NAB app releases. When it happens it's always been at a personally inconvenient time. ASIDE FROM THAT THE APP IS GREAT AND FEATURE PACKED AND I LOVE IT. But it would be really great if this could be fixed!! Thanks!

NEW MAY 2022 update login error. Most recent update won’t login via app, Face ID logs in, then states “For your security we have logged you out of your account’ please log in again. IT KEEPS DOING THAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Only new advise given was to uninstall and reinstall app again. 🤬I should not have to re registered my device (security) and so on because of your app glitch. And yes “I have gone through all the other advise of iPhone security settings, hard reboot phone, wifi & data, clear Caches and so on. I normally don’t complain about temporary glitches in apps, it can happen sometimes, as long as it’s eventually rectified, I don’t bother in making a negative review. however seeing this app I use for business and the data itself (Banking) is extremely sensitive, I feel especially banking apps should get it right the 1st time.

Customer remediation service issues. A while ago I asked a question about payments not being processed on public holidays and weekends. Truthfully I didn’t feel like I got much out of it and the preceding complaint. Recently I was contacted to be told there has been an issue. The problem is said issue came with zero details and apparently been a problem since 2022. What I don’t understand is the contact email doesn’t actually do anything due to security concerns. Basically, I don’t get any answers, I cannot call within service times between 10am and 5pm. And I’ve just been told to follow the complaint process, which is basically full circle. Just letting everyone know, who happens to pass this review, how tedious the whole NAB process is.

Quick balance will not turn on. Got the new iPad Pro 2020 release, nab app and the iPad are both updated with the latest software. When I turn quick balance on I press agree, select the accounts I want to display and the top choice to display the balance on the screen is selected. I press save, it says saved and updated or whatever. But then in the menu quick balance is still off. And later when I select quick balance without logging in it instead prompts me to turn quick balance on. I know how to turn this feature on, ive done it literally 20 times before. For some unknown reason which isn’t software or a device that’s out of date it won’t work

Be Careful. If you have this app on both your iphone and ipad don't expect security notifications to go to both devices. It only goes to one. Then you have to rely on SMS notifications if you don't have the correct device with you. If the bank decides that a phishing attempt has been attempted, they will disable intenet banking AND app access. The problem is that they will not re-enable access without you being able to remember a recent transaction; Date, recipient, amount. If you cannot be precise you are screwed because you no longer have account access to find one. Also they cannot/will not do is tell you any details about the phishing attempt. Instead all they do is send a boilerplate letter about generic security precautions. None of which were applicable to the phishing attempt against me. What sort of financial institution still relies on SMS athentication? Why is there no real 2FA authentication? I have sent multiple emails/messages to the NAB about this. All are ignored. Don't bother with the help in the app. It is just a waste of time. It just scans your question for keywords. No intelligence what so ever.

Annoying. Why does this app work only 10% of the time. This is the most frustrating app on my phone. I actually should switch to another bank so I don’t have to deal with the “try again” message on the login screen. Seriously it’s 2018 sort it out!!!

Worst bank ever. Totally useless and helpless! I have money in this bank but the account is locked. You cannot email them. You cannot get help from the chat box, there is only a virtual assistant cannot understand what your problem is. They keep asking you to approach a banker via the online banking or this app, regardless you are unable to log in for a few months already! I lost all my money in this bank, please go to other with banker and services that care about your issues.

You broke the app. Just updated the app. Now i can’t log in to my bank account. Please fix this.
