It's an okay game. I really like this game. The trophies are easy to get and you spend mostly coins instead of actual money. The downside is the controls are little hard to navigate. In the overall I would install 👍🎮

Please read. Bring back colossatron it was one of my favorite games maybe it wasn’t bringing in money as much as jetpack but if you could just give it a second chance I would be happy and I’m pretty sure other people will be too

Needs work and is infuriating. I like it but it infuriates me because enemies are spawning next to me making it almost impossible to not take damage and I feel like everything is way to expensive in the game.

The new update is 👎. I downloaded this game because I wanted to get some memories of when I used to play this as a little kid, but it seems like a lot of those memories are gone because of the update. A lot of the features I used to love seeing have gone to the garbage, and now they have expensive skins that I’m not willing to buy.

So dissapointed :(. I used to LOVE this game years ago I played it like all day everyday and I was so sad when it got taken away so much so that I would randomly come back and check to see if maybe they’d bring it back one day. Finally today I see they did and it is so different in the worst way. First of all the graphics are so ugly the old design was way cooler and more of an arcade feel now it looks cheap if that makes sense. Another thing too is that it moves ridiculously fast. Too fast to the point where you can’t even enjoy the monster environments and it’s almost impossible to even play because of how fast you move there’s no time to even shoot the monsters. This was one of those times where the past should’ve stayed in the past. :/ wish they’d go back to the original

No. It’s fun but it kicks me out every 30 seconds and I don’t like and if the game doesn’t fix it I won’t play and half brick games again

Why did you have to ruin this game the old graphics were fine this game was my childhood it was the best game ever but now you had to ruin something you couldn’t have oh I dunno kept the graphics as it used to be or you could’ve added an opinion to switch in between the graphics or something why...you did not have to do this.

Game is Awesome, I love it.. This game is by far the best, the only reason why i give it a 4 Stars is because since the graphics have gotten better, its not the nostalgia old graphics i wanted from when i was younger, & The Ghostbusters Level mashup was amazing and was one of the main reasons i came back to this game. Other than that, this game is great!

I love the game and it brings back memories but there is a problem. I love the game but the art style is kinda bad because it used to be pixilated and now it is ruined and it keeps crashing so can ya fix it.

Was great. Want the great back.. I remember this was legit my favorite game. Then a big update came out, and literally stripped away every element I played the initial version for. I played for the music, and the art style, and a bunch of the mechanics that has since been altered/changed. Deleted it right after. It’s not a bad game in itself, I just was burned by whatever choices the developers made with an update. Like if you’re gonna change that much, make a separate version. There’s a reason why things like Temple Run have multiple games in a series.

Everything is fine but the Graphics. I loved this game when I was younger and I am glad to see it back but I would like to see the older version of graphics of the game because Barry in my opinion looks weird with this new model

It’s fun but.... I like this game, I really do. But I think it has a few issues. It reminds me of Jetpack joyride which I love, and is really fun. I also LOVE Dan the man. Like LOVE. it would be awesome to be able to be Dan the man in the game but plz don’t make us pay. And some times enemies spawn too close to me which is annoying because it’s impossible to shoot them fast enough. And if you pick up a heart at full health you should have an extra heart. And with Jetpack, the speed increase is way more sutble than this game. Your running slow than at full speed in seconds. You should also add more content like the AK47 or something. Overall I like the game but if you change a few things it would be much better

Sad. This was my favorite game before it was taken down a few years ago. Was thrilled when it was brought back to the App Store and with a Refreshed look! But my progress in the old game did not transfer over and I have connection problems to my Game Center. Also instead of earning stuff with gold, like magnetic Berry, extended mags for guns and such. It looks like you need to purchase them all separately with real currency, (or watch a 40 second ad, before EVERY game) I don’t want to buy my character I want to build a character. Still holding onto hope that it gets better, but just seems like a cheap cash grab unfortunately ☹️ Also the spawning and pace of the game is way to fast. Sometimes monster pop up right beneath me and take a heart. Also the downward heavy landing move isn’t reliable. It sometimes activates after my second jump and I land in traps or in pits. No forgiveness on landings either, jumping a pit perfectly takes a heart. Meaning you need to land further behind a pit instead of asap. As I keep playing it gets impossible to pass different stages even with bronze. I am so sad that this game blows. Holding onto hope that it gets a third chance

Bring back the old game. I honestly thing this version is worse. Too complicated, enemy’s spawning way too close, too much micro transactions, and i personally like the old graphics better. At the very least i feel like there should be an old graphics option

Please bring back the old version. I used to play this game all the time when i was young and a few days ago i came back to it and it changed a lot and i didnt like the new version the old grqphics were great and they even removed the proton pack like common brick please bring the old version

The old graphics were better. As much as i like the game, the old graphics were better, for the yetis and mummies at least. And for Barry. I think you should revert back to that style and maybe bring back the Ghostbusters thing. For another event thing, do a Stranger Things event with demogorgons

Steakfries is back!!!. Used to play this game all the time in the past, looking forward to your other classics coming. One issue I am having is that game center is not connecting to this game please fix it!!!! Otherwise great job!

Halfbrick memories. I am just so happy to be able to see this game back on the apple store. Halfbrick studios is the best at making the best games for iphones without a doubt. Bring Age of Zombies back with controller support please!!!!

HATE HATE HATE having to login every time. Why force us to login every single time we wanna waste five minutes of our life in a game? It’s not just this app it’s multiple half brick apps. If this isn’t fixed I’m gonna start deleting all the apps by half brick that forces user sign up or login every single time I launch it! It doesn’t even offer cloud saves or anything so what’s the point of logging in aside from tracking purposes???

Great game! Needs one fix though.. Great game but needs a fix, Game Center fails to link account so you can’t get achievements please fix ASAP.

Fun but. This game was the best game ever when I was a kid I love it and when I gave it a try the game was to kid friendly the lobby there use to in the back round boom guns bullet zombies hands in the window and when I play it made me a bit sad I miss the old thing that it was in the game but it a good game

Update seems like more of a downgrade. This game used to be really great and have lots of things. I was really happy when halfbrick updated it. They updated the graphics and added costumes which is good. But they removed the whole system for the collectible gems that gave you small bonuses, they removed rainbow cheeks, they removed the thing where if you fall off after reviving or the bike getting destroyed it puts you back up which is infuriating because on the levels where you have to drive a motorcycle a certain distance the bike keeps running out of fuel and when it explodes it sends me off the edge. And even when I revive it can still send me off the edge which wastes like 30 seconds of my time. I also don’t like the new art style I really wish they did one similar to Jetpack joyride, they also increased the price of the sword and even if you bought it before your money was wasted because you don’t have it anymore. That pretty much sums up what I think about the new update about the game.

Not like it used to be. I was really excited to redownload this since I had a lot of fun playing it when I was a kid. But the new update is just really not good at all. The speed it wack, everything is way too expensive coin wise, and the cliff falling mechanic is trash. Really sad that they turned a fun game into this mess

Cool but. Nice game but I liked the original there so much like the most importan part the soundtrack image me playing and then BOOM Barry is shooting monsters while the intense music plays

I love this game. When I was a kid I used to play the old version of this and it was great until they made it all kid friendly and it was bull crap I literally uninstalled it and was so disappointed that day but now they update its new and it reminds of the old stuff but it’s a bit different I really like it though but I think they should keep adding more stuff for this game but i love how it’s back in a better place and I love this game :)

Hopefully a sign of things to come?. Good to see this come back, and while I’m not as big into the new changes, it’s still the same game in its core. Please rerelease the zombies through time game and Colossatron, but just don’t try to force grindy mechanics into them as well. Please release them again, they were so important to my childhood

Well. I loved this game the very first playing it but it got old very fast it’s literally the same thing you do over and over and you always have the same guns . You should make a way for us to purchase guns

Has some problems. It’s a great game but after you get the bronze and silver medalist costumes it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a gold medal on two of the levels without using 30+. Please fix wipe em out level and snow problem.

YES ITS BACK. The rebirth was amazing and the new double jump, slam, and revive are amazing! This game was one of my favorite games but once I tried to reinstall the game I couldn’t find it. But now I can play!

Bring back the classic. Loved the game in its prime. Came back to it and can’t really get past these boring new graphics. The visuals were so classic 8-bit, and now it just looks like one of those lazy mobile dedicated to swarming you with ads until you pay. Would be nice to at least have the option to swap in preferences.

Old art was way better. I remember as a kid playing the old game and enjoying it. I was excited to hear about the new update, but when I saw the art I just knew it was too different. Honestly just remove this game and put whatever this is up as a totally different one. Some mechanics changed and the art-style has gotten significantly worse. I would no longer call this the same as what it used to be.

I mean..... Ok so it’s the still good game we all know and love but..... the graphics now make it worse, I liked it better when it first wasn’t deleted

Worst halfbrick game. Halfbrick makes good games but this one is just horrible. The games is incredibly buggy and laggy, the hitboxes are broken and all over the place, the speed becomes too high to play at around 1100m, and the cliffs get bugged and kill you if you even get close to then once you go fast enough.

Okay game, but mostly meh.. Not what the quality that I've come to expect from Halfbrick. Things that need to be fixed: Respawn should make sure there will be a platform under you (I've re spawned before and have immediately died again due to this issue), Possible invincibility frames after a hit from the green gas, Slower pace incline (this is just my opinion), and Enemies not spawning extremely close to you (this happens way too often).

It’s changed too much. I love this game a lot and when they released the ghostbusters update, (while there were aspects of it that I like) it took a very simple arcade style game and made it too complicated for the type of game it was. This update is basically that but taken a lot farther, the new character and monster designs just don’t work as well as the old ones and it just kinda makes me sad. At least they could’ve made Barry look like he does in Jetpack. Or at least put a retro Barry skin in the shop.

RIP Lucky Charms. This game used to rock but then they made an update that got rid of all my progress and ruined the graphics and got rid of my favorite part of the game…lucky charms I loved this game but now it’s just alright I beg of you not to do this horrible thing to Jetpack Joyride.

I kinda prefer the older graphics. Barry looks a bit dumb now in my opinion, I liked the older look of the game better really. The whole game looked better when it looked akin to Jetpack joyride instead of what it is now, still a good game overall though

The best. I was getting a bit bored of this game once my friends could get nowhere near my score. But since the leaderboards I'm totally addicted. Ideas for some levels. Jungle with a big foot or dinosaur. Hell with a devil. Village with Frankenstein Water lever (similar to how your run on water in sonic) with a loch ness monster.

I really do enjoy the game. The Reason that I’m complaining is I prefer the older version of the character model. Because it’s less cartoony and looks better please change it back.

Monster Dash Noob.. I may not be the best player in this game but i say this is one of the games that i respect and will continually play. Buy this and never regret it. Some suggestions would be more weapons that may arouse some interest in the gamer which will make them want even more. Also, more monsters with special features/characteristics which keeps us vigilant. PLEASE attend to monsters and weapons as they are the key to the game that keeps our interest in it. WWII is awesome. I find it rude how people call this game a rip off its a good game who cares if you have to buy stuff and anyway I can understand where you are coming from but seriously does it need to be shared? Maybe I'm wrong but personally I think the newest update is awesome because it adds in the ghostbusters that movie was my favourite and its a great game love it but people have their own opinions but I don't think that you should say it's a rip off or anything like that hope you read my opinion 5 stars all the way half brick oh and one more thing that colostrum game could you make it free by any chance? Insanely Fun. It's a really good game recommending to all my friends (were all fruit ninja addicts :P) just one question though could u make an infinite run of only one level? Instead of it being randomly selected for you then change after 1km you can choose which one you want then see how long you can survive??? I just think it would be a cool idea and thank you Halfbrick for another fun but challenging game and a promising success!! XD

No where near as great as it used to be.. Monster Dash used to be a fun endless runner featuring HalfBrick's iconic mascot Barry Steakfries. I remember when it was first released on the App Store. I had downloaded the game and clocked in hours of game play easily making it one of my most favourite endless runners. Then this update happend, turning this once fun and simple game into a money grabbing micro-transaction machine. I'm also fairly sure they have upped the difficulty just so you need to spend more gems for more continues. You can no longer accumulate hearts like you used to and the leveling up system is a joke. This update has ruined a once classic AppStore favorite.

Pretty fun, hasn't aged well though. I used to play this a lot. All the time actually. I purchased it pretty close to the day it was released. Coming back to it after playing Jetpack Joyride you realize how unpolished this game looks. It's a shame they more or less abandoned this game. It could have been just as popular I think if they spent the time on it like they obviously have with Jetpack.

best game. so simple yet so addictive, but one suggestion: could you make an option which keeps the jump and shoot buttons shown permanently? when I don't see them occasionally I miss it and it can really get frustrating, so that would be great. little thing, but it would make a huge difference :)

.... I loved this application, but I can't say the same for my iPad 2. It just seems to be a stretched version of the iPod one, I was thinking of some more flushed graphics. Now graphics isn't everything, although there is a massive flaw in the game play. It's quite jimmy, where it will slow down and sleep up quickly. Also I get moments of like graphics lag. It just doesn't seem to play well on my iPad 2. So this is why I give it the three stars, I love your games but I'm not happy wit this game on the ipad sorry.

Didn't live up to what I was expecting.... I bought this app seeing it was from Half-Brick and all the thumbs-up reviews. I am a little disappointed with it to be honest; it just didn't seem to live up to what I was expecting with all the raving reviews and knowing it was from the same producers that made Fruit Ninja. (I love Fruit Ninja) I was expecting something more, but maybe I'm being a little harsh. The game is okay to play for a while but nothing like the genius of Fruit Ninja. An average game - 3 stars.

Good pass time. Monster dash is a fun game, if you're only playing it for 5 mins. After this it gets quite boring. It isn't worth the price if you expect to spend lots of time on this app. It will get boring. On the positive side, it's well thought out and has fool proof, arcade like controls that allow you to jump and shoot, no more. Other weapons than the standard shotgun are available if you come across them mid-game. Overall, monster dash is good fun for the first couple of runs but soon gets very repetitive and dull.

Da best. The only reson I didn’t give 5 stars is cuz there isn’t any dan here I mean dan would be perfect for this ya know how much bottle he been through he’s ful of action add him now as watch ad only to get pls 3rd boss of dan da man made me rage quit why dose he have to spawn enemy’s can’t we have a robot to so it’s even out pls pls pls pls pls dan is da best fighter in halfbrick ever

Disapointed. I enjoyed the different locations and monsters but I was overall disapointed in this game. I didn't mind the pixelated graphics however my biggest disapointment was with the lack of any drive to play the game, it's just boring! There are no designated levels and the only challenge is to outdo your personal best concerning how far you can run without dying. Though cheap, I believe this game was a waste of my money.

Monster Dash is awesome :). I absolutely love it, great for killing time, simple and easy to use. Its definatly worth a couple of bucks!!! If you like mario you will like this game. There is a guy who runs and jumps from platform to platform and shoots different monsters on the way while avoiding spikes. There are also different power ups like guns, motorbikes, jetpacks and zappers. There are fun stats and it keeps you wanting to beat your high score. There are also different themes like vampires, zombies, mummies etc. This app is currently one of my favourite apps and I could recommend it to anyone and everyone! :)

Was. This game reminds me of the golden years in video game history, one of those awesome cabinets you'd spend hours on in the arcade just cause it was so fun to play with no real story to commit to, pure fun. I love how easy it is to just pick it up and play it on the go. I'd like to see this on the PlayStation Network too. However the new currency is definitely a huge set back. Suddenly Gems are all over the place and potentially useless, I could spend hours on end playing the game desperately scrounging up as many as I can and manage to earn a measly 1,200 coins for it. What it looks like is that you guys saw how successful the game was and decided to harness the it's financial potential, because now everything can be bought for real money and it's depressing.

Completely RUINED!!!. Was such an easy awesome game great for a pick up and play. Latest updated was a TOTAL sell out and ruined the game. Used to be able to play as much as you wanted now you are expected to pay more for a game you already paid money for, what a rip off! This update just shows how greedy halfbrick has become. Back in the day used to make classic games like fruit ninja and this now everything is $$$$ every game has more and more ways to scam you out of money. Total mess up halfbrick, your taking your games down the wrong path and pushing away your customer base!

Once favourite, now deleted. Agree with all the other reviews, this was once my favourite game on iOS, but I'm now deleting it from my iPhone. Why do I have to sign-up just to play a game? Pity to see a once great Aussie developer stoop so low.

Solid fun. Same principal as doodle jump, only side scrolling. Very fun for it's simplicity. Would be 5 stars If they add dif modes like in fruit ninja. I'm confident the updates will rock. Update: months have past and only a single update. The games replay value is very limited without some new weapons/modes... Get on that halfbrick. no excuse for a half finished experience

Ok, but much too stingy now. I started playing this about a month ago and it was quite a good game, but with the Ghostbuster release, they reduced the power available from 13 to 6, which means you only get 10-20 mins of play before needing to spend gems for more power. Obviously Halfbrick decided that they weren't getting enough cash and had to make it harder to play for free. Well that's me out of here, thanks for nothing Halfbrick

Gooooood. Obviously repetitive, but it IS that kinda game, keeps u entertained and is, in my opinion, better than jetpack joyride, so if u like that game you'll love this one from the same makers, half brick. Would get 5 stars if had some kind of coin collection like jetpack

It has to be good to knock off angry birds!. For an app to finally knock off angry birds as the number 1 application it has to be special... This app is good but not special. I can see myself spending hours of time playing this game, however I don't think it deserved the number 1 rating. Great value for money at $1. Worth getting, but don't get ur hopes up as much as I did :)

Brilliant. Once again halfbrick produce amazing work, you guys are great. Every game I've played that was made by halfbrick (fruit ninja, monster dash, age of zombies) has been brilliant and of amazing quality with good graphics, easy controls, fun gameplay and in age of zombies a hilarious storyline. If you are thinking of buying this take it from me and do so. It is completely worth the money and even if it wasn't you should still buy it. Keep producing great work please!

STUNNING!!!. I know this was released only yesterday, but I cannot wait for updates :O Ive been waiting for so long for something to replace angry birds on the top apps, and this game is so simple (the controls are literally jump= left button, shoot= right button) and yet, ive been constantly coming back to this game. Smooth, addictive, epic graphics.... But im sure what we all want are new weapons, characters, levels and unlockables like that of fruit ninja :) I just cant believe this game has become top app almost overnightly. Amazing work, great potential :)

I Think 5 stars says it all.. I went into this gaming thinking that I would play it once and then forget about it completely.. But no after awhile of playing it just felt wrong not playing. In one word addicted!! A must buy!

Simply addictive.. It a fun game that's easy to play, and there's something about it that just makes you keep playing over and over again! I know people complain that that there is only one character and a few levels, but Halfbrick Studios have proven with Fruit Ninja they release great updates, so Im sure we will see these things in the future. Great job!!!!

Good, not Great. I don't get why everyone thinks that this is the best game at the moment. It's a very cliched concept, one that has been done sooo many times before. The only differences are different shooter, weapons and monsters. The basic runner game can only go so far, and I find myself getting bored of this quite easily some times. But, I will admit, it is a great time spender for a quick 5 minute or so fix. I'm sure the game will improve, just like Fruit Ninja did, with more updates in the future.

???. What is that snowland place in the screenshots??? 7000m is a lot but wat's that rocket launcher as well? This game is pretty cool but would have been better if there were more weapons and more places to travel to and maybe they can have like a zen mode where you have heaps of lives and no gaps to jump. Fruit Ninja has zen mode

Awsome. This game is super cool and I love how you teleport to new places. You should have lots of new maps with a boss or something. Maybe you could have gladiators? Or super villains from spiderman or superman? You should be able to customize your dude and buy suits for him. Any way super cool game and I really like It. You should have the weapons upgradable on levels when you get the same one or another one.

Beautiful, but not overly fun. There's something about this gnaw. It. Should be better than canabalt, but it's just not. Something about the weight of the character, or the lack of ability to slow down. Whatever it is, I still recommend it for anyone looking for a fun little distraction. It's cute and has a fun script if nothing else.

Could be better. Look, I like this game, but you guys got to think more about how others would feel while playing the game. I know how difficult that can be for game creators but put a little effort yeah, like when you start the game and you have to do the first few missions, you don't let us get another go to try and get gold or silver or even pass it. That's one thing you must change because I just deleted this game when that happened. I am redox loading it now but I'm gonna still wait till you change this and when you do I'm gonna tell all my friends at school to play this game because they know when I suggest a gam it's a good game, I am giving you a chance to make a great game. Thank you halfbrick for this awesome game and for fruit ninja you are my favourite developers but I am wondering if this game will be updated like fruit ninja and maybe with new weapons you could buy using kills from the monsters. Also new skins or people to play as. That is what I would like to see in the future please. Thank you halfbrick.

Monster murdering marathon fun. If you don't buy and love this game there's something wrong with you. It is everything that is best in iPhone gaming. Fast fun cheap and able to be played for a quick blast to kill a few minutes, or get seriously addicted to.

Probably the best thing to ever happen to my life.. This app is addictive and fantastic. Presentation is brilliant, the sound effects great - makes canabalt look like the simpleton it is! All it needs now are addons and unlockables. If the developers keep adding new levels then I will continue to be a happy customer!

Great game with plenty of room for improvement. You could use some more levels with a few different monsters. Such as a level with werewolves for example. Each level should be seperated with a break and as said earlier have multiple characters to choose from. Other than that great game with good simple controls and it is just great fun!

One of the best of its class!. Easily the most entertaining platformer-runner I've seen on the App Store. Great sound, beautiful imagery and a brilliant way to kill time. There are a few rough edges yet to be smoothened, but knowing Halfbrick they'll be pumping out awesome updates polishing it up with each one. Great game, highly recommended!

Why do this, Halfbrick?. Halfbrick was one of my fave devs in the mobile gaming industry, Monster Dash was a great, simple, game which you had to go as far as you could as if it were Jetpack Joyride, but this is rather disappointing having Monster Dash turned into a more cash factory just so Halfbrick can be greedy, if you still have the old version of Monster Dash, I recommend that you DO NOT update to this version, expect microtransactions and needing to be connected to the Internet in order to actually play it. Sorry Halfbrick, but I'd hate to give this a 1 star after how great it was, until now.

Good game, interesting challenges. Like the gameplay for its time-wasting entertainment. Challenges are fun, especially free jewels. Hate the fact that 4 different prompts show up on my screen when I open the game, even if I leave it in the middle of a run. Why does it require Internet to play? It doesn't. Why doesn't it pause the game when you leave it mid-run? It should. Don't understand the reviews about it being a cash cow, I've maxed out levels and all the guns and haven't had to pay a single cent. Maybe I just got in after they fixed all the complaints :) Anyway, if you're looking for something to keep you occupied, this is good. Just don't play it on the bus.

Horrible. Only had like one dollar in iTunes credit left, like jet pack joyride, was like why not, bought it. this is not like it at all its horrible. Where's the customisation at! No half brick that does not mean money hungry customisation where all the cool stuff is at an unbelievable price and the only way to get it is by spending monies. Overall pretty bad game, wouldn't even get it if it was free and is in desperate need of customisation or something to take out the monotony of the game, oh u died? Want to run again? For the millionth time! Over and over again! Also the setting does not help at all, it's so unclear! Jet pack joyride is a thousand times better and this is obviously just a game made to milk a half decent game for all they can as its obviously just a game super similar but in all the wrong ways!

Simple but fun. This game is quite cool. It's very simple, but easy to pick up and fun to play. I don't find myself coming back to this game as much as I would like to, partly because the randomness of the generated tracks creates some unfairness, some of the time. But overall, it's got great music, cute graphics and good variety in the weapons and tracks. I highly recommend it for the price.

More than a dash of fun..... This game is great! The ability to shoot monsters really breathes new life into the old "run and jump" platformer. I also like that if you have full health you can add to your pool of hearts (i.e. 3-4 hearts worth of health). The graphics are great and the framerate and gameplay is super smooth! This game is a steal at 0.99! Get it already! The Update just made this game even better!

unfortunate. Halfbrick, you were one of my favourite developers on the App Store. And the classic monster dash was already amazing as it was, but unfortunately, like many developers nowadays, you went down the horrible path of microtransactions and stamina. Utterly horrible, way too greedy.

Halfbrick. You guys should’ve kept the game the way it was before. Pixels, weapons, Barry, and monsters. Now you dun goofed up by giving the good game a hated makeover, microtransactions, a stamina counter for whatever reason. Requires Internet. The new art style and visuals are decent but I do honestly prefer the older ones, if only as that’s why I was used to as a child. It would be strongly appreciated, though, if it didn’t require internet. It didn’t require it prior to the new visuals, and it’s just not as nice when it does require Internet.

Stop stealing my coins!. Right when u start a level, the game says that you can get a weapon upgrade (double clip, double charge speed...) for 300 coins or for "free". If u click it when it says "free," the game still takes 300of your coins🤔😡😤. This is confusing and frustrating.

Fun...But No Depth. Needs more content, more purpose to play. Knowing Halfbrick though, there will be MANY updates in the coming weeks :) So I'm not worried. Rated it 3 stars because of no option to switch JUMP/SHOOT buttons. Currently, I can't play the game at all. I NEED the jump button on the right, it's just how my thumbs work!!! Otherwise, great graphics and animations. Gameplay just needs a few tweaks to make it more accessible and deep :)

Another game down the drain.... I played the original monster dash and it was SO MUCH BETTER. The art style was the classic 8-bit stuff we all know and love, the levels were challenging but fun as hell, there was no stamina system, and there weren’t NEARLY as many ads as there is today. I was really excited when I saw this game that I thought was lost forever come back, but then I realized that Halfbrick completely bastardized it. Halfbrick went from a company that made genuinely fun mobile games into a lazy, money-hungry company, and I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Good but not anymore. This game was a huge part of my childhood I played I so much and I loved the game. but the new update is honestly horrible. The new visual style is hard to look at and makes everything feel so slow and heavy. The lack of weapons is a confusing choice. And a stamina bar is worse. To make it worse they didn’t just make a bad sequel like Jetpack Joyride 2 and Fruit Ninja 2, this is an update and the old version is now inaccessible.

Can't connect to Facebook. I had this game on my old phone and connected to Facebook so I downloaded it on this phone and tried connecting. It crashes every time I try connecting.

Don’t update. The old system was much better and way less pay to win. Now they offer ads for everything from gadgets per run, weapons per run, after a game for no reason and even revives. Game dead.

Old version good, new version super ad happy. The old version was great and appropriately injected ads, however the update is clearly only trying to show ads. Don’t download unless you want to spend more time watching ads than playing the game. Loved the old version.
