FoodTrackerPro - Daily Food Eating Log Comments & Reviews 2026
Not enough features to justify the cost. This app is OK for a free download but it does not have the features it should have for the cost. I used it for a couple of days and found it to be very frustrating and limited. Disappointed.
Great app. I've been using this app to help me eat right and remember my supplements throughout my pregnancy. It's simple and easy to use which gives the user much more control. Yes I have to do more outside research to calculate more specifically what and how much I'm eating but that's better for me in the long run anyway. It helps me not get obsessed with the "counting" side of eating and therefore keeps me mentally sane as well! I vote it's great for the person who would stress themselves out with too many numbers or getting carried away in diet specifics. I'm impressed at the usability and functionality of it.
Love the app but few suggestions. This app is great for anyone who just wants to eat healthy. Very simple to use. But I agree with some other posters that going over my limit shouldn't necessarily turn red, for example I'm always thrilled to go over my veggie limit but when the number turns red I feel like I've done something wrong. Also, please make this app work with iCloud, I hate having to upset it on my phone and iPad. Overall though great app!
What a disappointment!. In my opinion this app is only about 20% complete! Purchased today and observed the following: 1. No way of knowing what a serving size is for an item not on the very limited list of foods. 2. No way to distinguish what items of a food group were consumed. For example, if I ate a dairy item for breakfast and ate the same item again at dinner, and am not sure if I remembered to note it at breakfast, there is absolutely no way to tell. 3. No way to add to the limited lists, or too know what a serving size is for items not on the lists. This app has great potential, but is far from complete. For $1.99 it absolutely not worth it. Even $0.99 is too much! Please refund my purchase.
Good basic app for those who want/need to track quickly and go!. Good basic app for those who want/need to track quickly and go! I hope it always stays quick and simple! I have other apps I can use when I want to track more details. I'm soooo glad i found this app for all the other times I simply don't have time for details but I want to stay on track and self-disciplined with tracking.
Love this tracker! Great for a nursing mom :). I love this app because it is simple and easy to use. I am not interested in recording everything I eat in a day or counting calories or carbs, etc., but I AM interested in eating appropriate portions and a well rounded diet. I am nursing a baby, so I have to eat a balanced diet and not cut back too much, but I love that you can set your own goals on this app. I researched to find what amounts of each food group I should be eating while nursing to lose weight healthily and entered those as my goals. I like that you can make your own food groups, as well. I actually added my daily vitamin as a reminder and I added "exercise" and use the 1/4 and 1/2 options to mark off the amount of time (in hours) that I walk each day. It would be nice if the app had an option to track exercise, but you can customize it to work. Overall, if you are looking for a nice simple app that is easy to use and tracks the basics of what you eat, this is it! It ensures that you get a good variety of foods in a day and helps you to easily look ahead and plan out what you need in your next meal to get a good balance of nutrition. Love it!
I feel cheated!. New version is nice. I keep my 1 star rating though for two reasons: 1.because It is over-priced. Ridiculously so. This app is so simple, it should cost the basic $.99 not a penny more. 2. Because 99% of the reviews here are fake. How stupid do you think we all are??? Most of the five starred reviews contain the very same basic themes. My original review: This is an extremely simplistic app. It uses 8 nutritional categories/groups that cannot be modified in any way. No categories can be added or changed. There is nothing there but those categories, no specific food intake data, no calories, no meals, no quantities, nothing but some nice icons for each of these 8 groups. To this simple "analysis", they have added some very basic tracking, some textual info and graphs. If you are on this specific diet, it is a simple, basic, sort of helpful app. If you are counting calories, or tracking your food it is useless. I cannot understand why these guys charge more than the basic 0.99 for this app. This app is so absolutely basic that I feel absolutely cheated!!!!
Love it!. It's simple and does exactly what I want. No nonsense. No inputting of each food item. Easy and quick to track your food intake.
Nicely done... But. This is nice to keep track but to have everything in one app would make it perfect. Can you put "food exchange list" somehow in this system? From restaurant, to packaged foods, to home cooking, then when we look something up and it can actually break the food down. Like so many breads so many proteins so many fats, ect. I love love love this way of eating to me this is the healthiest way, they have books out that do break foods down. Called Food Exchange List.... But to have all that in this app would be fantastic!!! I guess I can't say that enough..... LOL many blessings here's to a healthy way of eating
Other things that could be improved. Since this app tracks protein by ounces, you can be pretty accurate, but the number of proteins you might eat in a day are quite large because of this. For example, a man might be recording 15-20 units a day in just that category. If you make a mistake, you cannot correct it on the screen, you have to hit an icon and use a drop down and erase it by erasing your last entry…so hopefully you catch your mistake right away. Last, the app lets you set goals for each category of food but, it is on a separate page where you set the goals and can view them. As you were doing your food entry, you have to remember what your goal is or wait until doing an entry turns the number a different color. I really wish they would fix all the things I’ve commented on. I am sure they are easy fixes and then it would be a good app.
Best app for my approach to weight loss. I appreciate an app that let's me track nutrition. I have altered the goals and the categories to fit my personal goals. My suggestion would be to provide a way to make comments to myself to help me understand my weaknesses and strengths and use them to improve. (What works, what doesn't, triggers, etc.). Thank you for the best app I've found. I like simplicity rather than complicated formulas.
I've been looking for an app like this for a long time. I'm so excited to have found this app. I've tracked my diet off and on by servings of food groups for years, but on paper. Very few apps track this way and the app makes it so much easier! Thank you! The only things missing would be the ability to sync across multiple devices and some sort of Apple Watch interface.
Exactly what I was looking for. I've been on a nutritionist developed weight loss program before and wanted to start back up but didn't have the logs and tools that I had before when I worked with the nutritionist. This app is perfect for allowing me to restart that program as I can customize it for my particular needs. The only thing I would like to see added is a weight tracker so that I could track my progress as I go. Wonderful app! I definitely recommend it.
Easy to use & a great tracker!. I love this app! It is very helpful & I can easily hold myself accountable for meeting my goals. One improvement that I'd like to see is a way to input specific foods, not just food groups. For instance, if I eat a serving of spinach (which has great health benefits) it should give bonus points instead of just credit for a serving. If there is a way to incentivize certain foods, that would be great encouragement.
Very basic- no food database. Would be more effective if there was a food component
Good simple tracker. This is a good simple tracker for tracking the number of servings you have of a certain food group. I wish they would improve the ability to change/edit servings after you enter them. You cannot selectively delete servings. It deletes them in the reverse order that you entered them. As an example, you could enter a fruit serving, then a milk serving, then a starch serving. Then say you want to remove the fruit serving. To do so, you have to delete the starch serving, then the milk serving, and then you can delete the fruit serving. Then you have re-enter the milk and starch servings again if you want to keep them. It's easy to lose track and sort of defeats the purpose of the app.
Useful but not optimally so. As noted by everyone else, this is an easy to use app that helps you record your consumption and graphically represent this over a good time sample. To my knowledge, there is no way to delete consumption events that were made in error and no way to enter consumption on previous day in the inevitable event that you forget. A nice addition would be prompts to complete the Food Tracker a few times each day. Overall, I am pleased and have recommended it to friends.
Great tool. This matches the method for the Exchange Diet. Easy to use without the complexity of adding individual foods.
Love this app. FoodTracker is so intuitive and easy to use. A simple tap is all that is needed to record what is eaten. It shows me at a glance my eating patterns and how I am trending. Very easy to see from the charts the dates my eating went out of order and then I can note what was going on, like the holidays or a hard day, etc. It is very encouraging to see how well I am doing on most days. As well, it is helping me to up my servings of water and vegetables; both hard to fit in without a clear and easy to see reminder like this app provides. What is also nice is that you can change the target number servings per day of each food group according to what phase of diet you are on. Another great feature is that you can add a custom food group to also track vitamins, minerals and anti oxidant supplements, etc. This app is making it fin to track my eating habits! I only wish for a multiple users feature to make it perfect.
Should be free. There is really no unique functionality that warrants paying for. You select servings per day from 8 very broad food groups and it tracks and graphs how you cover those food groups over time. No specific foods can be entered. Disappointing.
Simple. I love this app because I simply don't count calories. It's simple to use and I like the charting/tracking. Great visuals. Only issue is that I'll occasionally plan to eat something and enter the servings, but something will come up, or I'll change my mind and eat something else or I'll hit the wrong button. Wondering if there is a way to "edit" entries so I don't have to remember when I mess up. The whole point of not calorie counting for me is not obsessing. Otherwise, I love it.
Love it!. I, too, want to count servings, not calories, so this is great. As another reviewer noted, it would be great if you could set a goal as a minimum, with no maxium so you don't get a red (bad) number for going over max, or set as a maxium so red only when you go over it. Also, a daily "Comments/Notes" box would be awesome. I cheated alittle, and created a custom "food" called "10 minutes of excerise", with a goal of 3 units. I can track minutes in 5 min increments with the 1/2 option. :-) To Javier: you CAN go back in history to add foods by using the calendar in the upper left corner and making a different date.
Easy to use. I like it because it’s easy to use. I have mine set up for the equivalent of 1200 calories and I have water and exercise in there too. When it’s time for dinner I how many servings I have left so I won’t over eat
Don’t buy! $4.99 is not worth it.. I can’t even adjust the full page of the suggested food serving size information. What a waste of money, unfortunately.
Almost perfect!!!. This is exactly what I was looking for. A super simple way to track what I'm eating on a day to day basis. Most apps are trying to do way more than I want. I don't have time to look up each specific food and enter the number of grams/ounces/etc. The charts and history are great. Not so many foods on the serving page that it takes forever to use. The only thing I would like added is a numerical average for each category by week/day/month and I would definitely pay for it if it was available. Thanks for a great app!
Great Changes!. Would be great to be able to set ranged for each item... Ie "under 3" or "more than 8"... That way I won't go into the red zone from too much water or veggies. A daily notes field where folks could make more detailed observations would be super too... Suggestion: Let us edit and reorder existing categories? That way vegetarians can opt out of the Ham picture and Vegans can avoid the jug of milk? This is a simple, easy to use tracking system that keeps its simplicity even with it's regular improvements. Nice job guys!
Very helpful app. This app is the perfect level of simplicity. It is customizable enough that it can suit the needs of any lifestyle, but simple enough that it doesn't drive you crazy after 2 days. It is about eating healthy and getting all the nutrition you need, rather than tediously counting calories. Also the serving size guide is a very helpful feature. I recommend this app to anyone looking to really learn to eat healthy, not just look for a quick fix.
Simple and effective. A great app for those who want to keep track of what they eat but don't want to count calories. You can make entries for each of the major food groups, set goals for how much you want to eat, and look at charts to see how you are going. Really impressed with how the authors have been reading the reviews and adding requested features with each update. My request would be to have one or two custom categories, so I can track my chocolate indiscretions…
Great. This is what I wanted. Most Exchanges Apps were for putting in foods and having it tell you what the exchanges would be. I just wanted a simple way to keep track of how many of each groups I ate. Only improvement would be if you could customize by adding often eaten foods. Like I eat protein bars and count them as 1 fruit, 1 protein and 1/2 a bread. Be nice if I could save that formula in a list and only push one button to enter. The person who says you can't delete is wrong. Under Settings, you can Clear but you have to clear the whole day (or week). It would be nice to have a "Clear last entry" option.
Love this app. I was looking for something simple to track my food group portions and that's exactly what this does. People have mentioned the number turning red when you surpass your veggie intake, but all you have to do is up your portion which it does allow you to do. This is NOT a calorie counting app. If that's what you're looking for, don't buy it. Excellent app in my opinion. Totally worth it.
Useful app. I have found this app to be very useful to me. It helps me to keep track of how many servings I have had of each food, and allows me to set goals that are personalized to my dietary needs. It is handy to have on my phone so that it is with me wherever I go. It is not for one who is looking to count calories, watch fat intake, control carb intake, etc. But it serves as a useful reminder of what you have already eaten throughout the day so that you can plan balanced meals and eat from a variety of food groups. Well done.
Absolutely recommend!. I hate calorie counting, but this is so much better. I can now see how many servings of each food group I have eaten. The pictures are great too and I love how easy it is. Everything is great I would give it 5 stars but I wanted to recommend a few things. 1. Food journal. I think there should be a section where you can list all the things you ate, the time, and how you felt. Sometimes I forget what I ate or why. 2. It should track exercise too! Not like a calorie counter but just what you did and how long. Have it on a calendar so you can see what days you exercised. I LOVE THIS APP! You guys did so darn well I love it. Thank you:) P.s. I just changed it from 4 stars to 5, and I love that you can add other things like vitamins! Awesome.
Easily tracks food exchanges (think food mover). I love this app. It does exactly what I want. Unfortunately, it appears some people don't understand what this app does and expect way more. This is an app based on the Diabetic Food Exchange System (even non-diabetics benefit from this diet) where you track simple servings of starches, proteins, veggies, fruits, etc. Unfortunately it does not break down how many of each one should eat for a certain number of daily calories; e.g. 1600 calories is 6 starches, 6 lean proteins, 6 veg, 4 fruit, 2 dairy and 3 fats approx. (most people on this type of diet will already have this info from doctor/ dietician) FYI Richard Simmons had a similar diet system called Food Mover. This app will track partial servings to help track those snacks we all love. So if you want to track every calorie, every minute of exercise and each and every nutrient, to micro- manage your day then this is NOT the app for you.
Frustrating. I bought this because a health coach recommended it. I find it a real disappointment. Not all of the icons are clear to me. I was trying to figure out what the bottle was (olive oil? Beer? Something else?). I touched it to get more info. It said I ingested whatever it is. I tried to undo it, but there is no undo. What if the bus hits a pothole while you are entering data? The scope and purpose of the tracking wasn't clear to me before getting it. It isn't calories. It isn't actually foods. It is number of servings per day by food categories. Broad categories. Very broad. For my purposes, this is useless, and worse than useless.
Feature requests.... Great app. I appreciate the simplicity and practicality of it. I think the following features would make it even better and therefore i would greatly appreciate it if you would add the following: 1. Ability to add custom events (eg. headache, anxiety, siezure, etc) that the user can tap a button to indicate the event occurred. 2. Timestamp both the time when the user consumed their foods AND timestamp their custom events. 3. Overlap the recorded events onto the existing graph to show the user when their events of concern occurred, in relation to their food consumption. These features would enable people to better understand how what they eat, and when they eat effects their events (eg. You get headaches when you don't eat for over 5 hours, etc). I believe people would start to then change their eating habits. Thanks for your consideration.
Great purchase!!. I never pay for apps. Like, ever. If it costs money, there's probably a free version. And if there isn't, I must not need the app that badly. But I really wanted an app that allows me to track what I eat so I could be generally more conscious of my nutrition (not by counting calories, simply by following the food pyramid) and this was the only one that had a simple, easy, well designed interface so I thought, "Worst case scenario, I'm out $4 with a lesson learned. Best case, I get exactly what I wanted." Happy to report it was a fantastic purchase, and I'm not only more health conscious and hydrated (without taking on the full time burden of counting calories/ micromanaging my meals), I've lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist in about 3 weeks. I also never bother to review apps, because someone else always seems to take the time to do it, but I'm so happy with this one I had to spread the word. Definitely recommend!
Love it for the most part. I really like this app. It is simple and easy to use. So much better and faster than counting calories. Great for busy moms/ people. The only things that would make it better would be to add a delete servings if you accidentally push one. And to be able to go back in history a day or two to enter info if I missed a day or didn't have my phone on me! Otherwise, I love it!
good but one slight glitch. I started using this app today and so far its pretty good. The ONLY thing I have a problem with as of this moment is that on the "What Have You Eaten Today?' screen the little icons weren't always responsive and in fact I had to push some of them numerous times in order for it to record a serving. PLEASE fix this asap... I really want this app to become part of my daily life but if this isn't fixed I'll most likely ignore/delete it.
I love this app!. I have been looking for an app that will track food groups. I have already been using MyFitnessPal, but I wanted to see where my carbs were coming from (veggies? Grains?) and where my fat was coming from (meat? Oils? Sweets?). I met with a nutritionist who told me how many servings of each food group I should be having, and I really wanted to find an app that would let me keep track. This app is great! I still use MyFitnessPal to log all of my food, but then I add the servings on here to see which type of meal I should have next.
Perfect!!!!. I don't understand people who give a negative review and say 'i was looking for a calorie counter'. This is clearly not that, it is not intended for people who want to count calories. This is a wonderfully simple tool for setting your own food group goals, and tracking them. What i love is you can add your own categories as well, such as 'vitamins', or 'exercise'. I dont care about counting calories, my goal is to eat healthy. I try to stick to whole foods, and i needed a way to make sure i getting a good balance in my day. I try to have 8 servings of fruits and veggies, and that is pretty darn hard to keep track of in your head. I like this app more than others i have tried for the reason that you can add your own categories with this app. I love that it gives healthy examples of what a serving is. This is a great tool for pregnant people or anyone who wants to make sure they are getting te proper balance in their diets.
Buggy,DONT BUY use exchanges in a free calorie tracker instead. TLDR: cannot backfill, cannot undo actions, cannot set flexible goals, cannot create custom foods, cannot get an approximation of total intake / macros. I regret buying this as I can't figure out how to get a refund. Consider this purchase the equivalent of ripping a $5 bill in half. This app has an old and extremely buggy UI. (1) you cannot backfill because of bugs. You'd better remember to log every day because if you don't you can never fix it! (2) you cannot fix a mistake in your current day log, or just adjust an exchange down, instead you have to go into a context menu and wipe the entire log clean and start over! There is no down--Only up and start over. Not bugs, but stupid choices: (3) The ui is designed to make you feel good (green) if you are under your goal servings and bad (red) if you are over. However (1) you cannot set the goal high enough for protein and fat to get to e.g. 130g of protein. (3) all goals go from green to red, so if you under your veg and water goal? Green. Over? Red. Very stupid UI choice. (4) cannot add custom foods. If you eat a lot of mixed type dishes it is annoying to have to enter 1/2 meat + 1/4 starch + 1/2 fat etc for each serving and do that math. Custom foods would solve this problem but isn't available. (5) everything in the ADA book should be available to look up as a good and log as a portion e.g. Look up "hummus" and log 1/3 cup of it correctly as 1 starch + 1 fat. Instead, you have to do all of your own portion math. This app is ONLY for tallying portions, as in seeing 6 starch, 5 fat, etc, which most people can easily do on a sheet of paper for free and less bugs. Instead of this, use loseit! or another free app. Create custom foods called "starch exchange" serving size: one exchange. Do this for all food groups. Log that way. It's harder to see how many exchanges you've had all day, but I create a "food note" that tracks this. At the end of the day you get an estimate of your calories and macros. The best part is that it's free.
Love it!. I love it. It's easy to use. Would love to see a comments field added to each day so I'd be able to comment on eating behaviors. Also would be nice for the date to return to current after changing the date to view previous days data. Right now if I change the date to 1/20 when the current date is the 25th, selecting the date icon in the bottom menu does not return the date to the current date.
Great simple program. Great simple program to track what you eat. Other reviews that remark that corrections and working on past-days are difficult/impossible are correct, but really don't matter that much anyway. It's not like you can change what you ate yesterday. Just what it looks like on a graph. The graph is the other critique I have. I wish they designed an all-inclusive graph with all food groups to compare foods against each other.
Very basic serving tracker. This works well if you're just looking to eat healthier and have a balanced diet. It would be nice to keep track of nutrients, enter popular foods and/or meals, and more examples of food serving sizes. It would be easy to cheat with this app because you only enter serving size for each food group, so you are deciding what you eat goes into each food group (ie: potato chips should NOT count as a serving of vegetables). This app works well for me because I'm pregnant and trying to increase my servings of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products, and I have discipline not to cheat. I wish the app included daily physical activity and calories burned as well. Otherwise thus is a good app if you need something basic.
Great for portion based plans. The portion based diet plan is by far the easiest to follow. I was introduced to the concept from P90X and it has definitely worked for me. Counting calories just gets way too cumbersome. I don't want to spend an hour a day counting calories. Dieting is really not that complicated. Eat the right foods in the right portions for what you are trying to accomplish and you will see results. This is the best portion based ap I have seen. It's very simple which I sort of like. "Keep it simple" usually works. There are a few things I would change: 1. Change the portion goal to accommodate 1/2 portion increments 2. Provide a selection of various pictures people could use for user created foods, or just create a database of more options for people to choose from. For instance, I added coffee, beans, and snacks. 3. Allow users to remove food groups that they do not track from the main page. 4. Allow users to change the order of the icons on the main page. Not a big deal but it would be cool. 5. Create a "subtract 1/4" button on the main page, so that users can correct mistakes later in the day, after they have made changes.
Great, basic app. Great way to keep track of how much you eat without having to list every detail. Easy to use & understand. It would be nice if you could choose half portions for your daily requirements. Being able to choose the different types of vegetables you eat would be good too (green, orange, starchy, etc.) which I think someone else mentioned. Overall very helpful!
Good if you're not interested in counting calories. I picked this app bc I knew I wouldn't have the patience or take the time to count calories. I'm a healthy person and I was looking more for something that would help me be more aware of the food choices I was making. This app fits the bill. A few things I would love to see...the ability to not only check off the servings you've had of each food group but also record what you ate (a food diary option). Sometimes I can't remember if I included some part of my meal or a snack in my tally and it would be nice to go back and check. Also it would be nice to be able to edit previous days' entries. I've found that I will forget to include dinner or an after dinner snack and there's no way to go back and fix it so my charts are all off. Finally, and this might be way off the wall, but it would be cool if the app let you break the categories down further and maybe by week, how many leafy greens have you eaten this week? how many orange or yellow fruits and vegetables? I tried making my own categories for those things but they don't fit quite well in the format because they are weekly goals rather than daily. Overall it's just what I was looking for.
Don’t waste your money. This app is garbage. You can only click on how many servings you have ate. If you don’t know what category your food falls under it won’t work. Find a different app.
Food Tacker app. This is a great app to quickly keep track of food choices. It is very similar to Richard Simmons’ food tracker. In the pro version, you are able to correct a mistake. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it won’t let you undo a mistake.
Solid.. I keep coming back to this app because of its simplicity. I don’t really like to count calories or grams. With this, I can easily count portions. And no subscription! Worth it.

Easy. This is simple to use. Easy & no hassle. Straight forward for anyone. Recommend
Not bad!!. Great app, good for a simple food diary. But can you please please add a daily notes section? This would make the app 100% perfect, then you could record the reasons for the foods/drinks consumed such as special events or functions.
Ann. Would like to see this app usable by more than one person. The whole family could track their eating habits then. It is a good simple app and it has made me realize how little water I drink, and so has helped me increase my intake.
Perfect. I wanted an app that would let me track whether I was eating healthy, without counting calories. This is perfect. It's easy to use, you don't have to be connected to the Internet, and you can easily customise it. Thank you!
Straightforward Tool. This app is a quick way to track what you're eating without getting bogged down in detailed calorie counting. Allows you to customise your own targets. Unlike some of the other apps, this one allows you to track when you both under or over achieve your target. Would like to see the ability to track weekly targets as well as daily. Could also add weight/waistline tracker and weekly cardio & resistence exercise goals. Keep up the good work.
Portion size. Dietician told me today to have serves per day 4-6 grains 5+vegies 2 fruit 2-3 protein etc This apps tell me 2-3 serve of vegies 5 serves protein
London Obviously. Very simple way to keep track I've even added my exercises to track them as well
Nice and Simple. Nice simple diet tracker, much easier to use than calorie counters. Would like to see an update with an excercise button added too.
Great simple app. Nice good structured app, I like its simple effective nature for helping me track my nutrition and monitor habits of eating and drinking.
Food tracker - great. This has got to be one of the easiest things to use, no counting points or calories, just adjust the limit for each food type and away you go, you can even enter more categories for cups of coffee etc. Fantastic.
Simple. I have tried other apps which focus on counting calories. After about a week, I become slack and stop logging meals etc. they are too complex, too time consuming. This one is great because it just gets you focusing on the quality of your food choices, rather than on counting calories. It is quick and easy to use and so I have been much better at using it consistently.
Auggestion. Good but need to track weight and measurements.
Great app. Easy to use
Handy app. Great for keeping track of food servings each day, would be good if stats had an overall average of all the food types as well individual types and if you could move the food groups around or delete them. I don't drink so alcohol doesn't apply for me. Otherwise very good
Ms. I like that it's simple - no counting and searching lists. Please can you add a notes page for each day? A simple diet diary mechanism would make this the perfect app.
Super simple and very useful. This app works almost perfectly with tracking my portions on the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet (a very popular Australian diet). The diet is based on units of food rather than calories so this app is great for that. I love the big icons on the main screen which makes entering foods eaten super easy.
Great quick & simple tracker. Great app guys! Its simple & quick to use. I can see instantly where I'm at at for the day so I know what kind of foods I need to eat more of or less of. Keep up the great work! Would be good to have more icons such as coffee or vitamins though.
FoodTracker. I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for to track after I quit Jenny Craig - same basic principles!
Very handy. Easy, quick to start, enter serves, and move on with your day. The serving size recommendations are a bit skewed/inconsistent, but generally more useful than nothing.
Easy to use. I use this to make sure I take the pills I need and to have a visual account for the food groups. A reminder would be good that you can set for certain times of day, and perhaps a few pages a day to write more details, like your weight or exercise for the day.
Works. This is a simple app, it works and is easy to use. It is visually very basic (boring). There are few steps needed to set yourself up. It would be preferable that you could mark off each meal/snack when entered for those who don't fill it in all in one session, however I have overcome this by adding each of them as a food item with an allowance of 1. Does what it says it does and using it enables you to maintain awareness about daily food.
⌚️⌚️⌚️. Hurry up and do an Apple Watch app
Food tracker pro. Beaut. Don't waste time on other apps. This is exactly what's required.
Disappointed with what you get for the cost. -no option to set a 1/2 serve as a goal -I would expect recipes ideas and links to websites with recipes -tips on how to plan your day would be good -more serving size options please
Lost 3kg already with this app. Great app for reminding you about serve sizes and keeping track. Would love to add the ability to mark exercise, alcohol and coffee on the same page as the other foods or maybe move the icons around. Would also love to be able to add photos of what I eat - I use another app for this currently.
Practical and helpful. Simple and clear food serve information at a glance, I have found if very useful at identifying which food groups I am not having enough of. Would be great to have a way of ticking off times of day or mealtimes as I enter as I go through the day but sometimes forget when I last entered an item.
Food Tracker-Sleek & Simple. Have only used for a short time, but have found it easy to use. Not a believer in calorie counting. I think portion and frequency control is far more effective. Food Tracker uses this idea extremely effectively. Well done!
Dr. Good product but would like to see more graph options.
Food Tracker. Great App, Easy to use, Just Love it!! Would be even better if it could track weight and exercise too. :0)

Great App. Exactly what I need for basic food group monitoring. Just wish we could modify/Edit the Serving list.
Great Way to Track Food Group. I have used for a week and it's exactly what I want: a simple visual tracker and a place to check if I'm reaching my intake goals. Thanks! One note: resetting the day doesn't reset the custom category entries.
Not what I was expecting. I thought I would be able to enter each item and then they be categorized but it's not the case. You basically just indicate how many items from each food group you ate that day
Easy to use. Food tracker is very easy to use and allows you to track daily, weekly and monthly food intake. Worth every penny!
Could do better to help eat well, not just less. Does exactly what it's supposed to and it will help you eat less by setting goals for portions. But it falls down on helping me to improve my diet. For example, one category for "meat" where you are supposed to track everything from hamburger to peanut butter doesn't make any sense. A good diet means cutting down on red meat and boosting fish and nuts, so why track them in the same category? I've set up custom categories to get better granularity, but more built-in categories would be better. I would like to see max and min servings rather than just maximums. I'm not concerned about eating too much fruit but too little. The way it is now if I exceed my fruit target the number turns red. I could also do without the splash screen - I find it gaudy.
Good basic nutrition tracker. I wanted an app that would let me keep track of recommended fruit and vegetable intake, and this was the only one I found that wasn't loaded down with way too much other stuff. I don't need a food diary or calorie counter, just a way to aim for 6-7 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
Good. I like the ease of use. Simple , not time consuming C
Great app!. Great app! But will be better if we can see the portions dissapears by but the number hallow or thing like that. A kind of pie for each categorie. And slide up and down for add or remove "a piece of tart" representating a portion would be better than touch to add and go on setting to remove last entry. Tanks very much for that app!
$$$$$$$. Trop cher pour ce qu'ils offrent!
JoC. Pretty good. Suggestions: More help at start of use would be helpful. To help frame portion size. Enable more than one person per iphone. I'd like to be able to track my kids too.
Awesome. I love this app. It is nice to have the option of tracking foods instead of calories. I would love it if this app also allowed you to track your weight loss along with your goals.
Great way to see what your eating. This is a great app if your not into fad diets. It helps you make sure your getting the variety in the major food groups. My suggestion is the serving sizes should be relatable to people who are not readily having measurements so instead of grams and ounces this app should also give measurements like steak serving size like the size of a hockey puck or fist etc. That way individuals can make an easier distinction when not at home.
Simple app that does what it's supposed to. Customizable. Easy to use.
Simple is sometimes the best. This application is simple and easy to use. The interface is straight forward which makes entering data quickly. Setting goals is also nice.
Great app. I've been really enjoying this app. It's very simple to use and is really helping me keep my eating on track. I love how you can determine your own food group goals (for those of us who think the food guide is bunk) and I find the visual charts great for getting an overall feel for things. I agree with other reviews that I'd be nice to have a section for daily notes. I also notice how the goals and the number color coding is based on the idea that you every day want to meet those goals. Sometimes however, a 'goal' is more of a 'don't consume more than' amount and not necessarily an amount you want to actually eat each day. It'd be nice if the app adjusted for this, or made it so you could turn goals or the color coding numbers off for certain categories or all if it. (For instance, I like tracking when I take multivitamins but I don't have a goal for one day). Also adding an exercise log is a great idea too!
Amazing in its simplicity!. Very easy to use, and it makes tracking what you eat fun. Even provides graphs for you to see your progress for each food group!
Handy App. Great app. I wish that there was a clearer record of my goals. I would also like it if, when I add something I've eaten, it compared it directly to my goal.
Great App for Food exchange diet. Quick and easy! Thanks!
Great for tracking traditional basic food meals. Easy to track each day. I have tried many other apps paid/free and I love the simple design of this food entry app. I thought that there may be more in the way of goal settings that would tie in with present weight and exercise. Please developers would you consider another simple to use tab of being able to just enter the exercise you did that day AND what your weight is, if one weighed that day. A visual reminder more less to keep your focus. I really like this app ,but unfortunately I still have to try to keep track of these other things separately which is a big pain.
Good... Some suggestions. Like this app for tracking with the plan I'm using, however it would be nice to be able to customize the goals by half increments as well as full. Would also be great if you could edit the existing categories, it's great that you can add custom ones, but you should also be able to edit/delete the ones on the main page as not everyone uses all those categories to track.
Alright. Would be much more helpful to sync between devices.
Very nice!. Very nice app - Exactly what I need since I don't go by calories but by portion according the Food Guide. Love the fact that we can select quarters or half portion and basically, the portion we select are based on whatever we want to make them. It does not limit us to pre-decided weight and portions. Love it. I have 3 suggestions to make it perfect (for me at least!). Add a place for us to enter our weight - either every day or once a week and we can then use this app to see week over week the trend. I would also like to be able to enter some reference food in the categories - for instance, I can never remember what my cottage cheese is worth in milk portions..3 or 4? If I could specify it in the Serving category, I could go and check for sure before I make an entry. It would be like entering customized servings based on what we usually eat. That would be my number 1 addition. Last suggestion would be a simple daily comment section where we can add personnal notes - just a few words. Would be helpful for people like me, trying to understand what food has made me sick or for other people, what gives them migraines or makes them gain weight, etc... That would be the 5 stars application for me ;)
Great for diabetic food exchange program. I needed an app that works with the diabetic food exchange program. This is it. Simple to use too. 5 stars.
Finally - the diet tracker app I've been waiting for!. Beautiful in its simplicity, this app lets users customize how many servings of each food group they want to eat each day. Throughout the day, with one tap, each full, half, or quarter serving eaten can be recorded. Then, graphs and a history page track progress toward meeting diet and nutrition goals. Counting servings is so much easier than counting calories, and this app makes it even easier. It's just the thing to help ensure a balanced diet and to limit unhealthy food choices. Three additions would make this app perfect: 1. An icon for alcoholic beverages and another for caffienated beverages. For those trying to limit consumption, setting a maximum allowable amount per day and recording the actual amount consumed can really help. 2. For those food groups you want to eat less of (sweets, fats, alcohol, caffiene), the icon should turn red when you reach or exceed the maximum daily servings. 3. An icon for exercise so you can set a daily goal and work towards it (a full "serving" of exercise could be 1 hour, a quarter "serving" could be 15 minutes). Thank you for bringing this kind of serving tracker app to iPhone!
Best food tracker around.. This app is awesome, I was hesitant about actually paying for a food tracking app but I love it - well worth the money. It's easy to use and it makes it easy to follow your changes each week. A+!
Great app but could use some tweaking... Been using this for over a week and really liking it so far, makes it easy to keep track of servings according to the Canada Food Guide. The only downfall is not having a space for notes, would love to be able to keep track of exactly what i am eating, an exercise log wouldn't hurt either :)
Best there is, but room to improve. It's really just a fancy tick box. I like the food lists though, but wish it would auto calculate my foods into groups
Great app!. Very happy with this app. Easy to use and very useful.
Lovely. Nice and simple to use. Application would be amazing if we could have more than one person tracked (family). I bet I could get my kids to eat more vegies if they could see the portions that they ate. Please update with family option. Thanks
Brilliant food tracker. Easy and effective! It allows me to keep track without being perfectionistic, obsessive or judgmental. This is the only way of keeping track of my intake. Thank you infinity. I even added exercise like a food.
Great Tracking Tool. The app is handy when tracking daily food intake. Visuals are also useful tools.
Easy to track. Easy to track what you eat according to food groups. Would get a better rating if I could also track weight (weekly).
Easy to use. I like being able to track everything in one place
Does the job. This app is great for calculating the basic caloric intake and accounting for how many portions of each food group have been eaten. Overall a great app for starting a healthy lifestyle.
Almost perfect. This is a great food tracker for monitoring what you put in your mouth every day. Very simple to use and you can customize it to your own needs. It really helps me control my portion intake because I can see how many servings of something I've had already and know how many more I can or can't have. The only issue that they need to SERIOUSLY fix is the serving sizes are wrong. One serving of meat is NOT 1 ounce; it's 3 ounces. This isn't the only issue with the serving sizes. If this was a free app I could understand this blunder and not expect much else. However, it's a paid app, so I expect more and for them to do the research and fix it in an update.
Arlene. I like this app because it keeps me thinking about my health as I have to enter in my food consumption and I think it is helping me make better choices.
Simple and useful. This app is easy to configure and use. It works well on both iPad and iPhone but cannot sync between them.
Great app. This is exactly what I've been looking for! I want to make sure I'm getting the variety and nutrition that I need, not just calorie counting. I would like the ability to arrange the food group icons. I don't eat sweets or dairy but have added some custom foods. I'd like to see my groups on the first page and move the categories that I don't use to the second page. Thank you so much for helping me focus on healthy eating instead of just calories!
Sweet and simple. Really like this app. It's simple, no need to go in 5 different menus to track what you're eating. Also it fits better with diets where you count portions, not calories. Just like it.
Useful. I'd love see a section for other drinks besides water. Where do I put in my coffee? And please add a portion in dairy for eggs. Thanks.
Amazing!!. After years of counting calories, fat, points, carbs and everything else under the sun I started seeing a dietician to lose weight in a healthy way that's maintainable. She taught me about servings in the six major groups that this app tracks and I've lost 25 pounds already by eating healthily. I've been searching for an app like this where I can set my own goals and track it simply without all the counting. Worth every penny and more!!
Stuck on June 12. Lovely app - I agree with most of the reviews. I cannot get the Today view for June13. Suggestion: to make it OK to skip a day.
Love it!!. Great app for keeping track of what you're eating. Awesome way to eat healthier.
Easy. The best one I've tried. Not perfect but easy to use, easy to customize. Not for health nuts but good for someone who wants to keep on track.
Food tracker review. I love it. Would not change a thing.
Great app. If you're looking for an app to help you understand and track portions - not calories - then this app is for you! Customizing option is a nice bonus. Really like this!!
April. Great app, a significant improvement from the last version. The customizable food categories are great, and I really like the ability to generate charts with the data. This has really helped me improve my nutrition The ability to transfer the data off in a .csv file in future versions would be most appreciated. I recently lost my phone and all historical data on this app
Almost what I'm looking for. Good app. I find I am more healthy and mindful when I track what I'm eating so I'd really like to see a daily notes section or meal journal where I could also write exactly what it was I'd eaten to go with the food group. It would help when the chart lets me see my success so I can replicate it in the future.
Easy to count portions and not calories. I have been trying to find something like this for years. Eating healthy for me is more about eating healthy and not counting calories. I can customize daily my goal to me need. Definitely 5 stars!
Great ap. Really great app for the money. Simple and easy to use. I like the fact that you can set your own goals. Good app to use in combination with my calorie counter.
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Simple tracking. Being pregnant my food intake should be slightly different. I like how it allows me to change my goals, like protein and water. Also I've added my own high in iron category and one for prenatals. Food tracker helps me remember what I have eaten and what I still need to eat to meet my goals for the day. Simple enough without a bunch of extras. Thanks!
Too Basic - Don't Waste Your Money. For $4.99, I expected this app to do a lot more. Everyone says this app is so great, but I don't know how it can be because it basically does nothing. You can set goals for how much of each food group you should be eating, but the app doesn't allow you to enter your age, height or weight to determine it. You have to figure it out for yourself, which is something I expected to be supplied with since I was paying for an app that has an overall 4-star rating. I wish I had never bought this app. I don't recommend it to anyone.
So simple and great. I like to track food, but find I only do it at times. I get frustrated when what I eat can't be found, or it's a "mixed" food. With this, I don't need all that, but I can see if I'm eating correctly. It sets up easily, gives you the amounts to be eaten to count as a portion. Out of simplicity, it serves a purpose. I love the app.
Great app. This app has been really helpful for me. It gives you good ideas to eat healthy and help me keep track of how much food i take in day. The graphs are also a great way to track your progress. The feature that allows you to set your own goals is great too. I recommend it to anyone who is serious about tracking what they eat everyday.
Satisfied User. I've tried to track my food consumption for years and found it too time consuming and cumbersome. With Food Tracker it's simple and easy to set goals and keep score. Thanks for providing such an easy to use tool!
Great for Ornish. This app was a great find for me! I'm in a workshop learning to follow the Ornish Spectrum. One of the requirements is that we keep track of the number of daily servings in the various food groups. With a couple of simple additions, I was able to tailor this to the plan. It saves me having to carry around a sheet of paper every day. Much appreciated!
Great app for keeping balanced.. This is a great app for keeping track of daily nutrition. However people need to read the description, because it's not for counting calories. The only suggestion I have is to include a feature that suggests category values based on height, weight, age and activity levels.
Need Food Entry and Database. This app works well for those looking to count the servings of food groups consumed and for those who need examples of a serving i.e. 1 cup of yogurt is 1 serving of dairy. I would love to see a food database added. For example, you can search for eggs. So then, I could record that I consumed 2 eggs for breakfast, and the food group for protein would automatically mark if as 2 servings. Please consider making this revision. Thanks
Adore it!. I absolutely love this app! I use it every day along with a calorie counter to make sure I'm being healthy. I really love that you can set amounts as well. I would like it if you could set halves. The serving sizes for fruits and vegetables are wrong in the guide, which sort of bothered me. Other than that, I don't have any issues with it.
what i was looking for. This app is simple and customizable and makes following an exchange plan very easy. I love that I can enter in my own goals and do 1/2 servings as well. However, the new version doesn't automatically clear the history for each new day, you have to manualy change the date which is a hassle.
Does the trick.. This app is exactly what I was looking for. Easily and quickly keeps track of the types of food I eat. I was also able to add custom foods. Wish I could log my weight/body fat %. Would also be nice if it displayed my custom foods in the same view as the default foods. Does occasionally drop the water icon in the vertical view. Good app though.
Excellent Simple App. I was looking for something very simple that I would actually use to be more concious about what I was eating. No way I was going to take the trouble to count calories. This fits the bill perfectly. Because it's so simple, it can be hard to figure out what category things should go in. (My wife said I couldn't count potato chips as a vegetable.)
Suites my needs. I like the simplicity since I just want to keep track of my food groups rather than calories. However, I wish I could set a min/max on the food groups. I don't want it to show red when i eat extra veggies and fruit - I'd rather show red for not eating enough of them. Overall it's the best app I've seen, and I'm very happy with it.
Great app - just what I needed. I was getting beat down with other apps and having to track every last detail about what I eat....I know how many food categories I need to eat each day and this helps me stay on track without getting so detailed...love it!!!!
Okay.... The app is okay but I wish the edit options were simpler. It is also difficult to edit past entries. I think the app should also recommend how many servings you should get for a certain calorie intake number and somehow show you how many servings you still need to eat out of a certain group. Needs more work to be an app that you pay for.
Helpful nutrition tracker. I was looking for a straightforward app that could help me determine if I was eating a balanced diet everyday. I didn't want to track calories or get too involved, just see the big picture. This app is perfect. I do wonder if the numbers can stay green if I'm still in the appropriate range for that food group each day.
Simple and efficient. I'm glad I paid money for this although I wish it was free. But it was exactly what I was looking for without worrying about calories and weight loss. I just wanted an app that would help me monitor my daily intake of food and this is the perfect app for that.
Very useful. I've enjoyed using this app. It's easy to use and allows you to keep up with portions of what you've eaten. This has helped me to decide what to eat at meals so that I'm getting more of a balanced diet. It also let's me know what not to eat because I've already had enough of that food group for the day. Try it out.
Food Tracker. Simple to use! Maybe a water category could be added to track how much one is drinking during the day. Also, some diets split the oils and the sweets. I don't know how many people would benefit from that but some diets require small portions of healthy fats and allow for small portion of sweets each day. It would be easier if they were separate! Sometimes if you make a mistake with tapping a serving you can't go back and remove that serving..you have to type the days servings all over. It needs some sort of "delete" or "back" button. The app is also switching the quantities for the fruit and protein groups in the history tab. Overall, the app is simple to use and straight-forward!
Simple and easy to use. This app gives you the basic functions of setting goals and tracking food group consumption by manually adding counts. A suggestion for improvement would be adding the ability to enter food you have eaten and then the app automatically calculates the serving size and updates food group count based on a database.
Great! East to use, missing one thing.. I really like this app. It's easy to use and I like that you can customize how many servings of each food group you want to reach. However I wish they had a data base so that you could track the different types off of you eat and log meals. It would make it a lot easier and also would just be nice to be able to look back and see your days meals comprised.
Great app. Easy app to customize. Very clean interface. For those that call it "useless" I can only recommend reading the app description in the future. It does what it claims really well and straight forward. One improvement would be to make it easier to edit the daily allowances for each group. I still have to search for it every time.
Fantastic app!. I recently worked with a nutritionist to develop an eating plan. This app is a perfect complement to that plan. It allows me to easily track everything I eat as I eat it, and know instantly if I'm on plan or not. Some enhancements I'd like to see: 1. The ability to delete an entry. 2. My plan calls for a varying number of calories and portions each day. I'd like to enter different goals for each day of the week. 3. I like the red/green/blue convention for knowing if I'm over or under my goals. I'd also like to see a number to tell me how many servings I have left to meet my goal.
Very Easy. This is very easy if you are using Diabetic Exchanges to track your food. Everything is done by tapping with no typing of food items or quantity. The serving size and portion reference is accurate. Downside it that there is no way to share either by email or syncing to the cloud.
.. Great ap for those who want to track food intake without counting calories You can mark 1/4, 1/2 and whole servings. You can individualize each food category setting. You can't delete servings or erase history, but you can reset current day. Adding a section for water tracking and seperating oils and sweets would help.
Wish I could sync devices. App is well designed. Just what I was looking for in a simple water and diet tracker. Custom fields allow me to add fitness tracking too. Only thing missing is syncing data between iPhone and iPad. A premium ($$) version that could sync devices would make this a 5-star app.
Simpler way of watching what I eat. Just what I was looking for. I set how many servings from each food group I want to eat daily (based on daily calories needed) and the app tracks everything for me. Also, this is less time consuming than tracking calories, while achieving the same goal.
Just what I needed. This app allows me to track the exchanges in my meal plan without getting caught up in calories or specifics. My wish list: * An option (turn on/off) to add notes to each day * A way to export the history to email or Dropbox * a way to see the entire day's exchanges charted against the entire day's goals - rather than by food group * a way to change the goals for the future without changing the goals for the past. For instance, if I set 2 dairy as a goal last month, I want to see that I made my goal last month, even though this month I upped my goal to 3 dairy... Thanks!
Good basic food tracking. Great way to keep track of what you eat. I would prefer if there was an option to see in more detail your history of what you ate, perhaps on a weekly basis. A good way to maintain that you are eating healthy and what you need!
Just what I needed. I don't like (read: am to lazy) to look up each food item. I prefer to just check off a box for when I have eaten that good type. This app is perfect for that. The only complaint is I can't move the icons around. I have to scroll to next page to access custom items when I would prefer to just replace one of the default ones.
Simple and easy. This is just what I was looking for to replace my paper Fitbook. I don't agree with all of the serving sizes but it is a simple and clean way to keep track of your food throughout the day. If only it had a couple buttons for exercise I wouldn't need anything else!
Tracking. Love using this tracking method but do wish I had the ability to write exactly what I ate as well. Will continue to use it, it is very helpful. Like being able to add categories so I put in tracking my exercise as well.
Love It!!!!!. I always use this App. It's a good tracker and easy to use. Good visual. I really keep track of my water intake, carbs and desert. I stopped using it once thinking I could control my eating without it, but I was wrong. I started using it again and now I can't stop. I highly recommend it and the best feature is it's easy to use.
Great but could use a better UI. Love it! Maybe make it easier to edit the food on a date, specifically deduct a serving. Also needs better serving suggestion guidelines. Like what the heck is bulgur? And also how to categorize foods with multiple categories like pizza...
Exactly what I was looking for!. The Food Tracker app is exactly what I was looking for - a simple convenient way to track my food group eating. It really couldn't be any easier to use. I have been very pleased with it!
You wouldn't find anything better!. This app was exactly what I was looking for, an application were I easily track how many servings I was eating daily. At first I was weary on the price but I am happy I bought it. Its lists of example serving sizes, attractive design and simplicity of use made sure that no money was wasted. 5 stars!
Good tool to track nutrition. I like the simplicity of this app. I am not interested in tracking each calorie but want to focus on eating the right foods. This tool allows you to adjust servings and add custom foods. It is similar to the daily dozen. My only request is to make it easier to change your entries for the day in case you entered them in wrong. Maybe swipe left and right functionality for each food group.
Great app that helps me monitor portions and plan meals. This app is very simple. It tracks your portions and that's it. I use along with a food journal. Helps me determine what I have left to eat so I can plan my meals. It's what I needed. Yes you can see count down if you press the trophy on top right. It shows goals with daily totals. Downside is some of the serving sizes are a little off on the examples page.
Love the simplicity. Very easy to use. Not complicated at all. I like just keeping track of my food groups with out having to look up foods and or calories. I really like that you can add your own groups as well. it also gives you serving portions which is very helpful
Suggestion. It would be awesome if you could search a food that you ate in order to determine the correct portion size and food group. For example I had a granola bar, and I wasn't sure if that counted as a grain or nut or both. Also I had raisins. Are they a fruit? A search option to find the info for the food would be great!!
Easy To Use. I bought this to help me make sure I'm getting all the nutrition and vitamins I need considering I'm very active in sports and health is extremely important to me :) the thing I'm bad at is keeping track of servings but you can just click the tab to see what serving 3 slices if turkey is! It's so easy and I couldnt do it without this tool :)
Best so far. I absolutely love this app. Simple to use. Only app I could find to track food group servings and not calories. I love that you can add customized items, track progress and set goals. Please update it to make it Apple Watch compatible!
Cannot customize goals. Overall this app is good. It makes it easy to track your food while on the go so you do not have to carry around papers. The one downside is that you can not put your goals as one-half. So if you need two and a half servings of something you have to pick two or three so you will be under or over for the day.
Fast Fix for Small Bug. I made a comment about a bug in the most recent upgrade and it was fixed in 2 weeks. They deserve a gold star for customer service. Simple way to track water and food intake. Keep it simple and stay on track.
Great. The only thing I would like is to be able to add additional items in the categories to remember what you ate. Like a notes section. Otherwise, I will be using this app daily and definately recommend it!
Pregnant and balanced. I love the food tracker, it is so handy!! I am pregnant so this helps me to keep better track of all my nutrients. I feel much more balanced since I've started. And less bothered by the topic! :-) only minus: I'd appreciate more "serving examples" especially for protein. Dairy like buttermilk is not even mentioned.
Terrible !. I love food diaries. I have lost over 90lbs and keeping track of what I eat helps to keep it off. This app is AWFUL ! It is impossible to work with and make very little sense it needs a lot of work. I would wait for a later version. Even then the style is not to my liking at all. If think it's a wast of money.
So easy to use. Really like this app. Don't want to get bogged down with calories or points and this app makes it very easy to see what I need to do each day. Would really like a space to write daily where I went wrong or what I did right. Only would need 2 or 3 lines for each day.
Disappointment. This is so simplistic, you might as well just be keeping track on paper. There's no detailed information about what you're eating--just large food groups, and all you do is click a button for each serving of food type. Exactly like making hash marks on paper. I was looking for something that would tell me how much protein I'm getting, and would let me track every item I eat. This is NOT that app! (If there is such an app, I'd like to know about it!)
Great app. Used fitness pal for years and tired of tracking exact foods. Love the easy way to track number of portions without having to track specific foods. Great for ornish. An undo button would make the app perfect! For those who want to track food, calories etc. please get fitness pal instead of asking developers to change this ap. :)
