Doesn’t work. Description says you can access your Mac, so I downloaded it and opened it. Nothing. Go to settings but nothing. Waste of time.

David. I downloaded the free version and tried it with UBUNTU. It worked great!!! The same night I bought the full version and am very pleased with it. I have an Ad hoc wireless connection setup within ubuntu, so I can use it anywhere, not just where there is wireless internet. I just recently used it at a large conference where I spoke, and I was able to wirelessly control a PDF presentation from the platform via my iPad. I also used it to control music and video playback through a projector and sound system to which I connect my laptop. This is a great app that allows you to remotely do just about anything you could do from in front of your computer. It is definitely worth the price.

Vncviewer is way better and free. Hardly any features compared to vncviewer

Was the best!!. This was the fastest, easiest to use vnc client I’ve used for iOS. Unfortunately, it no longer seems to work since I updated to iOS 12. Thanks apple:-/

Good and free?!!. I followed the instructions and it works great. I must admit it was hard to find the set up instructions which are on their website. I had to hunt them down in the support forum for this app. They should really make it easier to find instructions-like include a read me page in the app. Once I found the directions I got it working in no time. Flash on my iPod! Thinking about updating to the pro version. Don't know if the pro has ads but the free one does.

My Mac app. This app is worthless. As apple iso & the apple OS already supports screen share. So why use or buy an app that jest want to have you download. Casino games that’s all this app is is a unusable app

First update in two years "bugfix" still not iPhone 6 optimized!. After the first update released for this app in more than 2 years, that I had assumed was abandoned, with release notes simply saying "bugfix" I was hopeful that the app was now up to date and iOS 9 optimized. No such luck. It is still not even iPhone 6 screen size optimized, probably my only app that is still distorted from iPhone 5 proportions to fit an iPhone 6. The app looks the same, except I think the banner ad might be new. There is still the constant spammy pop up selling "Pharoh's Treasure" or whatever, despite the fact that I (and probably the vast majority of users of this app) have absolutely no interest in Pharo's treasure slot games. I'm guessing screen sharing users aren't exactly that ad's target audience 🙄. This app is so badly optimized that I haven't even tried using its screen sharing recently, I am waiting for a hopeful update that actually changes something for the better.

A little technical, but well worth it!. The app has never crashed on me while using my computer, but sometimes it crashes when I start it up, especially when it was already connected and I left it for something else (multitasking support?). Really a great program when you just need a random remote for something. I just use it around my house, and setting it up through screen sharing (system preferences > sharing > screen sharing) was simple enough. Setting up a vnc connection over the web just seemed like to much work for now, so it only works at home. Set up time including reading was 15 minutes.

Works just okay. This is just okay. Pro version works fine, but good luck figuring out how to install the already purchased pro version on another device - something the developer claims is a perfectly fine thing to do. Trouble is the non-pro version simply says something like "You've already purchased this in-app purchase, but it hasn't been downloaded" yet it doesn't bother to tell you how to make that happen. VERY frustrating. The "support" forum is practically worthless, with a totally non-functioning search tool. The lone post I could find about installing the pro version problem remains unanswered. Signing up doesn't appear to work either. There is also no email support so I'm declaring this ABANDONWEAR.

good but major security flaw needs to be addressed. Upgrade to pro (you need the mouse and price is reasonable). It will work best on wifi but you can with some effort connect it to your 3G . Remember, the slower the connection, the choppier the image. It will save you network (VPN) password, so you will manually need to delete the password every time you finish. Thus if your iPhone is stolen, the thief will have access to your computer!!! Two more stars from me if the developers add a startup password option! Update... They have password on start up now.... Flawless for what it is!

Works Perfectly. Better than AirDisplay, that's for sure, considering I paid $10 for AirDisplay only to find out that MacBook Pros from '08-10 aren't compatible. Oh, you mean a majority of MacBook Pros in people's possession? If this app doesn't work for you, you're just incompetent & that's not the publisher's fault. For free, it's nice. But for real functionality, like control, alt, and shift keys - you'll need the full version. Which is priced reasonably at $5.00. I would recommend this. Especially over AirDisplay. Seriously, don't buy that.

shows dark screen. doesnt work, shows dark screen when connected to mac pro.

Does the job. I have experienced non crashing. Am able to work off my Mac from iPad without having to go into home office. Can check emails, view flash websites, manage files, etc. For those functions I can't do on iPad or iPhone. I would not nor have I tried to do any adobe app functions, but that's something I would do anyway. But I can send files, FTP, etc without getting out of bed! Would like to be bake to figured out how to access from outside home network, but that is an airport/dns issue.

Very cool but it keeps quitting. It's very cool to be able to open programs like InDesign from your iPhone. The pro version is a must if you want to do anything other than look through your folders. Other than the fact that it keeps quitting(which might be because I only get 3G around here) my only real issue is the fact that you can't wake your computer remotely.

Somewhat useful. It's nice when I want to do something quick that my iPad won't do, like flash. I bought the full version to get the added convenience of the touchpad and function buttons. My support experience was very slow, but it could have been because of the holidays. A least they resolved my issue in a single email. The app is worth it, free or paid version.

Best app ever. With it being free, you cant beat it. After I got it and played around with it, I am getting the pro for a small amount of like 5$ when some Mac controllers are between 15 and 30$! Completely easy to use, and I love it. I use it to control my Mac, and also my pc that I use for lighting at my church, so I can control the dmx apps wi my iPad! Simply put, amazing.

Great App/set-up instructions. This app works great, it does what is says. The set up is easy. 1 System prefs 2 Sharing 3 Enable apple remote desktop (it will tell your IP address below which you will need for the App settings) then access the privileges for remote desktop and choose your settings 4 select the VNC screen and password option and choose a password 5 in the iphone App select the plus sign 6 enter a name, whatever you want doesn't matter 7 host name is your IP address 8 enter your password you choose to use for your remote desktop privileges 9 click save and you should have access to your Mac

Good enough. This tool does it's job but it could improve on the following to get 5 stars: - Mouse pointer accuracy (there's an offset between where you point on the iPad and where the mouse pointer actually goes on the remote Mac) - Maintaining a connection (after several minutes of connectivity, screen will freeze requiring you to reconnect) - Complexity in using special keys (if you're trying to do such things as using shift or command to select multiple lines of remote text, a lot of jumping around between the menus is needed)

So far so good. I just installed this app so I don't have much experience in using it, but it does what it says. The instructions for getting up and running were easy to follow. Navigating your Mac is not easy and I suspect the upgrade is well worth the cost if you expect to use the app regularly. I am going to get the pro version based on what I have experienced so far with the free version. If the upgrade makes navigation easier I will give this a 5 star. Overall I definitely recommend trying the free version - you have nothing to lose.

Can’t transfer pro version to new iPhone!!. I bought pro awhile ago, now it is trying to get me to purchase it again and showing ads. No way to transfer to new phone. Garbage!!

The best one. I've tried many vnc programs for the iPad, but this is the one I was looking for. Just punch in the ip addresses and you're good to go; direct and fast. No circuitous dns or links with google, etc. that slow things down. If you are at all savvy about connecting to your computer locally, buy this. And go for the pro version. It's worth it.

Works very well. Great app. I use it to control my Mac Mini Server, which we use as the network server for our 3 MacBook Pros and a PC. The app is great and despite users complaining about response time (we all know it depends on connect speed) in my home network it is nearly real time response (Apple Airport Xtreme). I have even used it to access my personal LAN from an airplane WiFi connection, sluggishly, yes but how cool is that?!? I wish only that you could make the mousepad a bit bigger because I have huge digits, freakishly large.

Signed up but no activation email?. It's been over an hour and no activation received in my email as promised. I'm probably going to ask fo a refund.

Excellent. This the first review I have written for any app. I was looking for something cost effective that would allow me to leverage the mobility and power of the iPad with the power of my home network and Macs. This app does just that. $5 well spent. It allows me to remotely connect to my Mac...control it...use all of the software on said Mac...and make use of the near endless memory my network has available to it. My only co plaint and a minor one at that is that within application windows the scrolling is not very smooth, but that is a minor issue. Perhaps a future update will include a scroll wheel of some sort. Thanks for the well written instructions ... Might consider including them with the app as a read me file of some sort.

Dave. Confusing to begin with but; as soon as the light went on and I followed the directions, it works like a champ! At home on the net work it is quick! On 3G make sure your desk top picture is a modest one or it will take forever (blame AT&T) to get a full connection. Once in, your there!! Nice application, nicely done and the price is great, FREE!!!

Confused. Can anyone help me out with my case? I have a Macbook Pro that runs on OS X Lion and I followed all the steps for setup on the developers forum but whenever I typed in the password on my iPad to go onto and see the Mac screen, I always get this message "Authentication Failed" and below it it says that my password is incorrect. Can anyone clarify to me what password we are supposed to use or do we use the one that we log into the computer with. Is there anything else that I could possibly be doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. The looks good on the images and I cant wait to try it out myself but first I have got to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance!!

It just works (pro version). I originally downloaded the lite version and it worked fine connecting to one PC which happens to be a Mac. I upgraded to PRO so I could connect to another Mac and to an Ubuntu client. After setting up desktop sharing aka screen sharing on a Mac it worked fine. I would suggest static IP addresses instead of variable ones as you have to change IP address every time you. Boot up, especially if not the same order. The HELP forums are quite useful.

stop harassing pro users!. I paid for the Pro version yet this stupid app keeps pestering me to leave a rating... I had already left one the first time i got the nuisance pop up. the previous review was praise and 5-stars. now that you're pestering your PAID users, you now get this revised version and a 1-star rating. if this is a bug, now u know and you can fix it. aside from this issue, I like the app, which is why I chose to buy the Pro version. but it's getting to the point where I've begun to use an inferior product just because it doesn't halt my device and demand a review.

Awesome teaching tool!. It is kind of annoying that you have to pay $5 once you download the app, but it is sooooo worth it! I can wander all over the classroom when I'm doing powerpoints, do demos from the other side of the room, etc. Great for teachers! One suggestion I have: put detailed instructions for connecting computers in the app itself--it took me a while to setup because I had to google the instructions. Overall, great app!

It is garbage.. It doesn't connect. So, by definition, it is crap.

Review. No problems with this app. Would be nice if you could wake the Mac up from sleep by moving the mouse around, but not that big a deal. If you don't know how to make it work, go to the website in the help section an follow those instructions on your Mac to make it accessible to your phone.

Richard. It does exactly what I so far want it to do, which is to be able to access my Mac. Great for remote access and presentations showing the app and Mac features, or for accessing files. Had to reset the IP setting after getting a new wireless router, but that was easy to do. Great app! Thank you!

Would like a seperate pro version. I didn't need this app for a long time but when I came back to it I find that it works reasonably well. The pro version price is typical for apps of this type but I would prefer if it was available as a seperate app rather then an in-app purchase.

Great app. I have configured it to both local an 3G. A little slow on 3G, but that is mainly a ATT thing. Yes the instructions are a bit confusing. I have never had it crash. I like to use it when I need to look up something I have stored in my iMac. I would recommend it to anyone.

Awesome .. Very impressed!. I have used this app for several months now and it does absolutely everything without a flaw. This puts every other VNC client to shame; and I have used dozens over the years. It has never crashed on me. Every feature I can imagine is implemented in a very intuitive way. All I can say is "awesome"!

Awsome VNC. This app does exactly what it's supposed to. It works wonderfully for me on my touch to connect to and control my iMac G5. I often use the pro features, like the two button mouse and function shortcuts. though I've heard it has issues with some newer systems and larger format screen resolutions, I would gladly suggest this app to any one.

It works. This app totally works for my OS X Lion. I will agree that setup is a little tricky, how ever I don't give up at the first sign of trouble. It has a slight delay, but that could be my Internet speed. I would have given this 5 stars, but if my Mac is password protected (good idea. I don't care who you are) and if my Mac is logged in first "Connect My Mac" wont let me in passed the password screen. Hopefully this will get fixed so that if my Mac is already running, I can pick up my iPad and just run the computer by remote with out having to log out and log back in. Please consider this option.

Not quite there..... Installed after a couple or three tries. You must have a password to be authenticated, blank will not do. Once connected, I was impressed with the clarity and crispness of the screen. I could move the mouse pointer but I could never get a tap on the screen to work like a click of the mouse. The keyboard worked, but not the mouse. I tried setting it up with my dyndns address to see if I could access my Mac from outside my home network. No such luck. So, it was a fun little exercise but in the end it has no value to me.

Rock Solid app. As an IT specialist, I was looking for the most stable solution for remotely accessing my iMac. This app was exactly what I was hoping for. Once the remote Mac was configured, the app worked perfectly. I appreciate the clean UI and speedy performance. The app has become indispensable in just a matter of days and I recommend it to all my clients with and iPad.

Amazing app!. This app is amazing and allows me to connect to my mac AND pc at the same time from anywhere! People who are running a version of windows that does not support remote desktop need to download a program called TightVNC. This program will let remote desktop work. That is what I had to do because I am running windows vista home basic.

Works great!. Got it to work perfectly with iPod 4G and iPhone 4S to-LAN and over any Wi-Fi anywhere to my home iMac and Windows PC! TIP: Don't buy Pro version until you get free version to work. Buying Pro version will NOT fix installation problems. Go to Hanamobiles' forum for installation help before buying Pro version. Once you have it working then I highly encourage getting PRO version for its versatility and ability to add multiple Servers. This is definitely a 5-Star app! 1/1/13 It seems like I've used this for a year now. What a great app for computer geeks and trouble-shooters. It continues to work perfectly.

Awesome!!!. First I tried the demo, and I thought it was great, so I decided to download the dull version. This app is awesome! I can literally see my desktop and control my Mac from anywhere in my house, via wi-fi. It's not hard to set up, and if have trouble doing so, they have a step by step guide on there website. This works for both Mac and PC.

This does exactly what it says it does! And it's free!. What's not to love? Outside of having to know some networking basics, it is a snap to set up. For those who need some hand holding, there are great resources online. If you want more than one computer and easier setup and control, step up to the Pro version. Like I am. Great freebie!

App crashes a lot!. Don't bother with this crappy app. If and when you figure out how to sync up and connect to your Mac, which was very frustrating and time consuming, you will only be disappointed upon connecting because this app crashes frequently. And don't even get me started on the dozen or so times it crashed while configuring it - warning, make sure you enter the password correctly because it doesn't like to let you change it later. It crashed every time I went back into the password setting area to try and change the login password. The only work around I found was to Delete the current configuration and start all over. I am now going to remove this app from my iPad and get one that works!

Great as a wireless controller. I use this app to control my cpu while I display it on my T.V. It works great as a wireless keyboard and mouse (general control) while sitting on my couch. It's far cheaper than a wireless keyboard and mouse and works almost as well. I would not use this as an extension (mirror) of my desktop because it is very slow in buffering videos so much so that its basically still shot after still shot. I do highly recommend this as a good wireless controll.

Hate the "update". I want to downgrade.. I don't usually bother to rate apps, but since the pop-up prompted me, I'm going to tell you exactly what I think of your "update." Before the update I used this app every couple of days to arrange upcoming tunes on an old Mac I use as a 24-hour iTunes jukebox. I blindly upgraded when the latest version came out. Now I can barely use the app. I get constant pop up ads for a game I don't want to play, and they completely removed the option to use a mouse. Of course I could pay their $4.99 ransom money to get my features back, but I will NEVER EVER do that because I don't want to support this practice. Fortunately my wife never updates the apps on her iPad, so I can use that whenever I have to. Bad form.

One of the most useful apps I've downloaded. Once you figure out how to set up your Mac properly in the remote settings, this app can really do wonders. I used the free version to browse my mac from bed, or away from home. It makes checking my fantasy football score easy Right before going to sleep for those late games. Sometimes the mobile websites don't allow you to view a page normally. It is especially helpful for viewing pages that require flash. I upgraded to pro, because you can't scroll down on a page using the free version. It does crash more often if I am using duel monitors. Although it wasn't designed for that. It's a little slow sometimes, but nothing a little patience can't handle. Overall, well worth your download and maybe even 5 dollars if you find yourself using it often.

Impressive: work as expected, will buy.... a) Works as expected, especially easy to set up to work on home WiFi Network. b) Awkward to get it going via Internet, finally cracked it, once I figured out and got the Public UDP, TCP, Airport Extreme IP Address, iMac Mac address in the right places.

Brilliant. Brief: Highly recommended. This app connected to my Mac Server (Snow Leopard) on a local network immediately once the correct settings were entered. No additional software required to be installed on my Server. It just works as Apple intended. I have now upgraded to Pro Version. Don't Expect The Following (And you shouldn't Really): Audio. This is a visual only app. Which is fine by me. Jitter Free HD Movie Viewing. And why would you? Feature Request: I would like to have multi-touch gestures on the virtual track pad just like I have on my Mac Book Pro.

Great App. I was connected to my mac within seconds of downloading and setting up was very easy. Upgraded to full version within 5 mins. Great App, I use it everyday.

Still support PPC OS 10.4 Love this!. It is simple app. Working beautifully with my vintage powerbook ppc 10.4! Even i tune dose not support my power book. Minus one star because the installing part seems un professional. The support page is bit also crack software, i bought this though..... Please keep the support discussion board! It is helpful. ^^

Great utility. Let's me drive my Mac mini while the family are watching Telly even though the TV is the display! Luv it!

Good basic utility. This app does the job I want - controlling my iMac from elsewhere in my house, fairly simply and at a more reasonable price than some offerings. Setup was fine for someone with plenty of Mac background, but I wouldn't be asking my mother to do it! Once setup the app works as advertised.

#moneywasted. App does NOT work! Have tried everything to make it work. Have contacted in regard to money reimbursement as all it says is ' 'ABORT' when trying to access the program. Do not bother, honestly just take it to the Mac store and they do it for nothing !

What?. You have got to be kidding me!! Anyone that gives this app a favorable review must be paid by the developers or one of them. I have had this app for months and it's useless. It never worked and never will. If you're saying it's great and it is the best you must be following a different set of instructions than I have for the Last 6 months. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted it to work but no app is worth this headache. Most of these apps promise the world and deliver a grain of sand IF you upgrade to the "full version". One I bought almost worked but the refresh was soooo slow it was pretty much useless too.... I'm starting to think that they're all "proof of concept" but that it really can't be done. So far I think I've spent close to a hundred dollars on this type of app only to be disappointed every time. Save yourself the headache, time, and money until apple makes it part of the iOS it's a lost cause. Congrats If any of "really" did get this to work but you must be developers too.

Decent one but inconvenient. I think it's such a good idea to connect between iphone and mac, and it was not that difficult to figure out how to use but Right Click!!! Still, honestly I don't know how to do it. The instruction says i need to hold and tap but it seems to not work.

Easy to Use. This took me 5 minutes to set up. I just followed the instructions on their website for my version of Mac and then it worked. I like the little program that finds all the info on your computer for use in the app setup. It made it super simple. The app works well and is great for when I'm working away from my home. It is using your computer to complete tasks, so no one would be able to use your computer at the same time. I was thinking it would be great for if you needed a file away from home, you could just access this app and place a file in your dropbox or e-mail it to yourself. Very handy.

Painfull. Went to their painful setup process. Did everything right and it doesn't work AT ALL!!!! This app may not be bad...it's for advanced users and nerds. If you don't want to spend hours screaming your guts out, pay for something else....sometimes, free apps are complicated.

Wicked!. Works well, connects quickly, doesn't freeze and does everything it says it does. What more could you ever ask for in an app! Love it!

Not worth the frustration. Just won't work. Just a black screen and the admin on the help forum doesn't even know how to fix it even though it seems lots of people are having this problem. Not worth the two hours I spent this morning trying to fix it.

Needs a lot of work. Not intuitive at all. Pushes you to other sites that tell you to click on other links to get the instructions to set up your Mac. Too much work to get this setup. Developers need to make this process much easier rather than just adding a button to say remove ads. Don't waste your time.

Excellent!!. Great app, very easy to setup and use. Connects flawlessly to my mini mac setup on my main tv when someone is watching tv so I can still work on what I need to.

Fantastic!. Easy to set up, and works every time I've used it. Highly recommend if the computer is in another room, and you want to see or show something to someone from your phone. Even works when your computer is in sleep mode.

Stopped working. This app worked great for me until I upgraded to iOS 6.01. It doesn't seem to work anymore. Please provide an update.

User of iPod touch.. I totally agree with the first comment. It might take a little effort but the app does exactly what it says it will do. Cannot ask for much more from a free app. Kudos.

Crashes a Lot (current version). Connects to my multiple screen MacPro fine, but zooming in or out crashes the app a LOT. No way to open apps on the Macpro or use various actions like right mouse click. Great potential though.

Works fine, but. I found the setup perfectly understandable for my home setup, on my own LAN. It didn't work though at work where the admin. seems to be paranoid about this kind of inter-connectivity. So, it is great at home. Period. I don't try to push it further; especially to the extent of paying money for more frustration. I do have one suggestion though. I'd like to see click-and-drag or double-click-and-drag ability. I can't seem to find that feature indicated anywhere. Just keep upgrading it please.

I get both sides. LIsten here's the thing.... This following review is neither a good or bad one for this app. I COMPLETELY!!! Understand how some users out there can easily be frustrated with this app. It comes with extremely poor instructions, it's soooo not user friendly, and yes the support site does come off as insulting to the clients. However I happen to be one of the lucky ones who did get this app to work for free. It was not easy and certainly not headache free. Once I did get it working I must say it did do the trick. I haven't had much experience with other similar apps but for an app that promises to remotely control my desktop it did just that. Yes the whole point of an apple product is to make life easy and yes it should be effortless and user friendly but every once in a while you come a cross certain apps that require mind splitting effort or zen like patience to get started. That being said I paid nothing,,, I spent 5min intervals working on setting it up so not to completely waste my time and now it works. Do I recommend this app???? Maybe to those who understand that not everything can be easy or perfect all the time every first shot. Does it need improvement????? HELL YESS!!!!! Is the price worth it????? Listen free is free is free is free ... If you don't get it going after an hour max of trying just delete it and move on don't go spending money to fix a free problem. But in the words of my main man Denzel washington " what do I know I'm just a factory worker for god sakes "

No stars if i could. I don't want to jump through hoops to get this up and running and without in-app instructions, I'm not going to bother. It shows a laziness on the developers's part to simply insert a link to a forum page. No respect for me, then none for you. There are similar apps that achieve the same thing with minimal effort on the user's part...that's the point of Apple products. Easy. Get it???

So Far, The Best!. I tried some of the BIG names in App Store, NO ONE, NO ONE of them started Right and Connect on the first trial. And the speed, is just amazing. I realy like the mouse/scratch pad for it's precision. The learning curve was about 10minutes and I was able to walk around my Mac wireless. Thank you

Works very well. This app works. You have to go through a quick five minute setup, then you click a button and your Mac is on your iPhone! The instructions require you to open on a Mac I think. I got it working with relative ease. It works.

Easy to Setup & use. Setup was super easy following the online directions accessible from the help button. I can now access my Mac from my ipad without need to pay the outrageous annual fee that parallels access charges.

Simple to use and install. I typically use logmein, teamviewer and vnc for work and this works almost as well. The only problem is it does lag even though even when your on your own lan. I say for the price it works awesome

Works well compares to Mocha Lite. I had been using Mocha Lite VNC, but noticed that the shifted keyboard wasn't working correctly. My Mac has this fixed! I am excited and will be considering the full version for purchase. Great job!

App crashes every time I connect. I paid for the full version and literally in the first second of showing my computer screen the app crashes every time. I am very unhappy with this app and would recommend this app to no one. It does not matter that the paid app has more features if the app itself will not function.

It works .... I looked for a non VNC way to share my OSX screen and this is the only app I could find. Configuration is easy and works like a champ. The interface is awkward for things like trying to drag and drop files. The app need work to make it more useful; unfortunately the app is not updated often enough.

Not professionally built. Got it to work (installed and setup correctly) on Lion OSX. It crashes after about 30 seconds every time I use it. could never get it to control my MAC, only view what was showing already. The interface is like someone just slapped it together… UI is bad! The only thing I can say that is good is that it was a free trial. If it worked it would have been nice, I say this because I have 3 monitors hooked up and I could scroll between them all (view only).

Connect my Mac. It's free!!!! What more can you ask for. If this doesn't have enough features for you than buy a program with more features. Solid program, I recommend it

I have found it to be really flaky trying to connect to my Mac.. Until I see it perform as advertised, it will continue as the free version or another program will take it's place. I am giving it 2 stars for the easy access to setup and the Faq's offered on their website.

Wonderful. Works great. Easier to set up than others and works well from outside network over 3G. Also, no need to run any software on the desktop which I appreciate.

Find something else!. This app is terrible. The support is even worse. I followed the developers website directions to a t. Would not work at all. Contacted support, who got back to me 2 days later. I replied because they wanted me to change my computer settings. They never got back to me after about 3-4 emails I sent. So I will be looking at other options. I suggest anyone considering this app do the same.

Perfect!. Does exactly what I needed, I can now remotely manage my Mac from my iPhone. Hard to believe it's free! I'll have to check out what the pro version adds since it is priced so low. I have no idea what the bad reviews are about, this app just plain works!

Buggy & slow, but works. Got it configured. It works. Slow to load and navigating on a tiny iPhone is less than desirable, but it does work. A suggestion would be to allow a connection to the hard drive file structure, rather than viewing /driving the host Mac. Often times all I need is to copy a file remotely. That would overcome the screen size limitations.

Remote control. It works beautifully for my simple needs. The convenience of having control of my work computer from a handheld is rather enjoyable. Just don't expect to play video games or edit video and you will enjoy this app thoroughly.

Works great. Following the directions, especially step 2-- turn on remote desktop-- and the app works fine. I can control my Mac desktop from anywhere in the house, and it lets me pinch to zoom in or out.

Love this app it has done everything I need it to. Takes the use of my iPad and my Mac book that I now use as a server to a new Level love the app had to upgrade to pro for best use! Enjoy

Simple is good. If a little guesswork comes into play when you are trying to get your computers to talk, this app is not too confusing for you. Takes 5s and it works.

Handy and stable. Compared to some of my past experience with Macintosh based remote software, this one is fairly reliable. It also is reasonably priced.

Works well on iPad but.... I like this app. It does what it is supposed to do. I even upgraded to the paid version. Question for the developers... Is there any way to prevent my Mac from logging out whenever I close this app or turn off the iPad screen?

Awesome. This app is awesome and so fast. I used a similar one a while back but had trouble with it running very slow and crashing. I use my Ipad a lot because of shoulder issues and this app lets me work on my computer comfortably with my Ipad. Thanks!

used to be good. I used to use this all the time for remote controlling my son's Mac. However, since the last update, I can no longer use it on my iPad2. Many of the controls are off screen, making this app all but useless to me. Great app before the update though. Fix it and it and I'd change from 2 star to 4 star.

Awesome. One of the coolest apps I have used in a long time. Great and easy to use software but even better is that it is a great alternative to working from my living room on my computer in the office.

Awesome. Set up took all of 3 minutes and works as described. It's a little slow, but for being free I can't complain. My computer is running dual displays and it shows the second screen. Got it to work over 3G using a free domain and DNS updater.

Crashtastic. On previous iPhones (and iOS versions), this was definitely a "4-star" application; it worked well for me most of the time. Unfortunately, the experience with my current device (iPhone 6+ / iOS 8.1.3) hasn't been good. Now, the application crashes more often than not, especially if I try to do anything more than "observe" my iMac remotely. It's pretty much rendered any attempt to control or access files on the iMac useless. While I can't say definite that the poor performance is due to the change in devices / iOS versions, it sure looks that way. I guess it's a good thing I'm not "out" any money by using the free version! (Or...is it that the paid version would work without crashing?)

Works fine for me.... People who can't get it to work probably have firewalls/security on their macs... It works fine for me, does more than I could ask it to... I was so pleased, I upgraded!

Awesome. Worked so well I bought it. A bit of trouble waking up an iMac but this app is cool and worth five bucks. Excellent start! I wish the low rating morons would read the instructions, if you can't set this up, you should not be using computers.

Good but haven't some important functions. I was using VNC viewer until discovered this app. I like it for controls you have during remote session and mouse control too. But it works great until you have to use international layout. Yes, it works but doesn't support international keyboard layouts. It's simply don't transfer symbols remotely. Also, you can't send or receive clipboard.

Works great. Does everything I need.. I only needed a simple remote desktop to check on progress of my batches job from time to time and this one fits perfectly.

Could use some improvements. The app is nice however the screen refresh rate is much too slow. The track pad is a great feature but it should be much bigger or at least resizeable. Also the right click should be customizeable.

I be lazy. Awesome app for the lazy. If I leave my computer on, I turn on my iPad and switch my Mac right off remotely from its sleep mode. The future is upon us! It's lag stinks a bit but hell it's cheap and works. (even slower on my iPhone)

Perfect. Most of the features come free. Just pay $4.99 and get you get all the features others charge $30 for. Amazing. Only thing that needs improvement is connectivity over 3G, and to be a little faster.

Very cool. This is very handy, it allows you to access your mac or pc on the fly. If you have dual monitors it shows both of them when you connect to computer

Connect My Mac. This works well for remote control but help setting it up is poor. Finally figured it out. I want the screen to reflect the slide I am viewing in PowerPoint. Other than that it does what it's supposed to do.

Great but not amazing. This app is pretty awesome. Setup is surprisingly easy if you sit down and read it carefully. It's pretty fun to be in a different room and still control my comp. Wish the playback wasn't so choppy though and there's no sound transfer. Be awesome if you could watch a video off your comp with audio.

Simply The Best!. I have had this app for awhile now. Reviews are made after several months and lots of testing. This app is by far, hands down, THE BEST! It's not hard to setup and very user friendly.

Must Enable VNC in Sharing. Works great for me. One must go into system preferences on the Mac you want to connect to, Sharing, Screen sharing, click on Computer settings and enable VNC with a password. Wish there were a way to send command keystrokes. Have only used for a few minutes and no troubles.

My Mac. Have just downloaded. So far so good. When vendors ask for reviews just as soon as one downloads their apps, it's unfair to both the vendor and the customer, since there's been no time to really explore and get a feel for the app. Will review again in a month or so.

Perfect!. I've had no problems with this app connecting even to my ancient PowerMac running Tiger. The interface is a bit strange, considering you're using a touch screen device to work with a mouse-and-keyboard device, but it performs far better than any generic VNC client I've seen for the iPad.

Couldn't be my wife tech support without it!. Visualization can take you only so far - sometimes you need to see what she's seeing. This app brings her iMac to me wherever I am. Be prepared to do a little port-forwarding setup (no problem via Airport Utility).

Great app!!!. This app does what it says. Just follow the instructions. There are links below that give you instructions step by step. Simply amazing. But what I would like to see is being able to connect with 3G connectivity. Other than that I  this app.

Can't Maintain a connection for more than a few seconds. I gave them the benefit of the doubt about all the 1 star reviews, thinking it was people who couldn't manage their networks. However it seems that this app is just plain buggy. It lets me scroll a bit and then quits/crashes. IT could be that I have a dual monitor setup and that it can't handle that. Guys, if that's true that is a very serious oversight in your testing.

Doesn't work properly. Using an iPhone 4s. It worked the 1st day then it quit working. Password doesn't allow for letters. I had to trick the app by going out if it, then typing my password elsewhere, copy, then paste it. After getting in, it no longer sees my Mac. It was ok the 1st time I used it but wasn't that great. It was still hard to maneuver because the touch screen function acted sticky.

Works for me. This app works as described for me. I use it to control my Mac mini that is in my home theater set up. I guess the sad part is that my "magical" iPad has been transformed into a $600+ remote control... All kidding aside it's very handy to have access to my Mac from my iPad.

Great App!. An awesome alternative to some of those other apps out there that do the same thing. Easy to set up as long as you follow the guide/directions...which it looks like some people don't know how to do.

stop updates not for my device. the app works good now that I played with it long enough to learn how to use it. I wish there was a way to stop the updates that don't apply to my device

Pretty good. Good app...it lags a little bit though. Only complaint with the pro version: no way to press the function key. That's kind of irritating. Maybe include it in an update? Overall pretty useful and cool! Keep it up.
