Not Refreshing. Was good but currently hasn’t refreshed since 5/5/19

Shame but will have to find another app. SAFires just will not work. Tried removing and reinstalling no joy. Used to be a great app. Can't even get any help. Can't even write a proper review will only let me edit someone else's review....update...Will not go past the loading screen. Please update this app. There is no way to get help. No alert SA app so this is all there is now.

My go to fire advice app. Best app for all your fire advice needs. Don’t make any one source be all you check though. CFS website and your local ABC radio station should be your other sources

A must for bushfire season. Provides important fire information close to our property, so we can act upon our bushfire plan if necessary.

Fast & efficient. Fastest way to look up the current fires and map them. Has a permanent home on my iPhone.

Needs updating and bug fixes. Just downloaded. Hasn’t been updated for 12 months . I can’t set a watch zone apparently the server is unable to be updated. Fire danger season has started please update

SA fires app needs improvement. Has minimal information. Look to Victoria for much needed improvements eg fire size, number of units. Description also often misleading

I Got Answers I Needed Desperately!. So yesterday, being one of the hottest days in history, there were massive bushfires where I grew up in the Adelaide Hills. Family trying to save their homes or evacuated made it impossible to contact many... it was terrifying to sit and wait in Adelaide, helpless! This app is the only one that gave me accurate and up to date information that I was able to pass on to numerous family and friends who were worried about loved ones. I went to the App Store for answers and found this. FINALLY an app that seemed to have what I needed. I wasn’t disappointed.... I was so relieved! Well worth the $1.50 for the answers I couldn’t get anywhere else! I can’t thank you enough for this app! It’s truly been a lifesaver; stopped a heart attack waiting to happen, helped reduce anxiety, and gave us peace of mind... of sorts. Thank you again!

Great app. Fantastic app keeps me up to date with everything what’s going on in my area. Unfortunately at the moment it’s playing up and not refreshing. Other then that a great app

Rude. Pretty rude that you have to buy this for each state. Pretty rude you have to buy it at all. This is for everyone safety. It should be free for all

Best App ever used. I have had several different emergency fire apps over the years and none come close to being as reliable and precise. 👍

UI needs redesigning. Poorly designed user interface. I receive doubled notifications and can’t work out how to turn one off and the notification badge hardly ever updates.

Poor updating. Trying to keep track of the KI fires impossible when the last update on the Ravine fires is over a week old. If it’s not possible to update why have the app, let alone asking people to pay for it?

Very nice. Presents information neatly, simply and fast. Very nice. Love the watch area notifications system.

Everyone should have this.. This is an app everyone in SA should have. It’s accurate and very easy to use. Setting up watch zones is a breeze and alerts come through very quickly. After the failure that was AlertSA, it’s reassuring to finally have a reliable fire watch app on my phone. Take note, SA Government!

App not working. This was a gr8 app until a week ago. No longer updates incidents.

Glitchy and doesn’t let you set alerts properly but up to date info. Gives up to date info but won’t let me set location alerts using my address. It gives me a random address over 5km away and won’t let me change it. Also won’t let me delete old location alerts. Pretty useless if I have to physically open the app to hear of a fire.

Watch zone does not work. This app was good for a while, now my watch zone does not show the radius, nor does it send alerts.

SaFires app. Awesome thanks! Best available- brings together all the good functions of multiple websites into one awesome app. Don’t seem to be able to get the windspeed off of knots though! Not very helpful for us nn-aeronautical/mariner types!

Not Working. It was working great since I got it about a month or so ago, but now is not displaying the map or updating the info, sometimes it just won’t even open!! Even after switching new iPhone on and off several times

Fire fighter cfs. In the cfs can’t wait to see how quick and accurate this app is to real time. I use a lot off different apps to help keep us up to date before and after

Different Icons. Personally different icons like for tree down a tree instead of a fire icon

Vital information. During the Kangaroo Island fire emergency we relied on the local ABC radio and this app. Everyone should have it on their phone and tablet and refer to it constantly.

Sense of preparedness instead of helplessness. I would like to compliment the CFS on this wonderful App, which brings complete peace of mind, in relation to where fires are, how severe they are & how close they are to my house. Of course, one can never be at peace when the threat from fires is constantly on your mind! But at least you can feel informed, instead of floundering. I refer to it almost every 15 mins, or more, & am able to make the correct choices regarding when to leave or stay. It beats the old way, of going outside & seeing if you can smell smoke, & if you could, you had absolutely no way of telling was the smoke from the fires in Victoria, drifting into our state, or was there actually a fire nearby? Current fire text size font. Hi great app. I am in the cfs and use this app several times a day. I find the font size in red of the current fire is a little too large and it covers the number of appliances that are on scene . Or maybe the field could be shortened so as not to cover the number of appliances. Regards bob wake

Doesn’t work. This app no longer works on my iPad no matter what I try.

Life saver. Much better than the stupid AlertSA was, this one actually alerts you when there is a CFS related incident in your watch zone.

Life & property saver. We had a fire go through our property in December last year & if I didn’t have this app we would’ve lost a lot more as “local radio” people were on holidays, the mobile service in this area is practically nil & the landline warning was sent to our MessageBank an hour after fire went through... & we didn’t get any warning except from this app so Thankyou.

Great app. Great app but would be nice to restrict notifications to fires only and not include things such as RTA’s.

Brian. Essential app. Gives alerts for reported fires etc within a radius that i can set. I have elderly parents in the Adelaide Hills who can’t drive. This helps me be know if I need to go and get them.

More useful than Alert SA. I downloaded this app as I wanted more info on our recent fires. I’m happy to say that this app, only works on apple devices, has provided excellent alerts and information. I’m really happy that I purchased it. It’s actually given me better alerts than Alert SA. Thanks for developing and keep up the great work ☺️

Good yesterday. Good yesterday when I loaded the app. Up the creek today with the wrong state shown and little response!

Good, but requires fixes. The app is quite good, however, the ‘watch zone’ function does not work (it will delete the watch zone you enter off its list within minutes. Additionally, you cannot search for a location by entering an address, you have to search for a location in the map which is cumbersome).

Easy to use with everything you need. Love this app, it’s very easy to use and shows you all the info you need in a simple way which makes looking up fires in a hurry easy as there’s no unnecessary information to sift through or decipher

Please fix this app. I love this app, but it has stopped working and just crashes. Can you please fix this as it is a great app.
