I use this all the time. This app is great for finding craft beer when you are on the road. I only give it four stars because the location finder does not work all the time. You can override with a city and state, but if it's not spelled exactly right it goes into some kind of loop. I would love to see some integration with beermenus and maybe other more popular review sites, but this would only make it better. Still a great app.

Super App when traveling. This App is indispensable if you travel in the US and like craft beer. Found several beer bars in Houston, (my home town) I did not know about. Looked up seveal brew pubs I know of in Oregon and they are on spot with descriptions, directions and reviews. Cost is less that a glass of beer and the App will direct you good beer bars, brew pubs where you can get good craft beer.

Solid App!. Very pleased; have used others of the same genre and Find A Beer is far superior in functionality, performance and features. It does need to accumulate more reviews but that will occur as the numbers of users increases. I'll do my share!

Awesome app; great people. This app is a must have for any craft beer drinker. I've found a number of great breweries, brewpubs, etc...that I never would have w/o this app. I had a very minor issue and emailed them about it. Within 10 minutes I got a response & all is good. App works great now and I'll continue to use it regularly.

Overall, pretty good.. Sometimes the information can be outdated, so it is a good idea to check by calling places first. I do a lot of traveling, and this app helps me have at least a shot of finding a local brew wherever I am. It isn't perfect, but it is pretty good, overall.

Beer Finding is Easy. Love this app for that. Travel lots and it works everywhere so far in US.

Would be better with bookmarks. This app seems to have a pretty extensive listing and it's nice to have two kinds of reviews, plus access to untappd and other ratings sites. A couple things missing though: A way to bookmark a place I want to try. All they have is "flag" which is if there is a problem. Ability to find beer along a route, for road trips. Another app (beer mapping?) does this but doesn't have the reviews.

Usually dependable, always interesting. Though one time we ended up in a cornfield outside Milwaukee across the street where the brewmaster for Horny Goat brewing once lived. Found this out when I called the phone # provided n also directions to more urban brewery. Very good beer and a good story pretty much every time

Way out of date. Obviously not supported anymore. Was great until it wasn’t.

Perfect!!. If you are anything like me and you remember where you've by the food you eat and the beer you drank, this app is perfect! Accurate, pretty darn thorough and fun to us in planning a pub crawl, this app gets immense use every time we am away from home. Best 99 cents ever spent!

Finding Micro Beers. Don't expect to find all the locations in an area, as I was in S.F., with a Pub on every other corner, but they usually find the more fequented and popular locations. That means, many of the dive bars, with tradition and atmosphere are missing. Can't take this App as a complete comprehensive guide, but it will at least provide you with a good start. Good app for .99¢, especially, if you are in a location you are not familiar with. Map feature will show you the way. Next update needs, the abilitiy to select by Craft Beer Type, like find me locations with Pale Ale, Amber, IPA or Hefe etc.

Necessary for beer lovers. If you enjoy craft beer and travel, then you must have this app. I have visited 670 beer making site and in the last year this app has contributed to my count. While I use the beer mapping site directly when a computer is available, while on the go this app is invaluable. Many times I have found an unexpected site when consulting the app. Whenever in a brewery or brewpub, I show this app to others and normally they acquire the app on the spot. The ability to send updates and additions immediately are most helpful to the craft beer community. Thanks for one of my most used apps.

App is missing alot. I bought the app and ran it from my home to see what places would show up. I live a mile from Mellow Mushroom and it's over 50 craft beers, a mile from Tribeca Tavern who has 20 craft beers on draft, and a host of other places. I hope that it is more rich when I travel, as it is not good at all for my local town.

Always in use!. Whenever I travel I am constantly checking it to see if there is someplace to get a beer! It does not always list every place, but I have always liked the places it has listed!

Good. Need to be able to search by beer not just location and should take out just your average bar that only carries a sierra navada pale ale as there craft beer. And needs to have a check in and a way to save places u want to check out. Social networking as well

Please update the app. I love this app, but it needs updating. Please update this app. I paid for this and if you do not update it so it keeps up with IOS I want my money back. I stick by my previous review. This app needs to be updated more often. Too many breweries open and you are not keeping up with them. This app is failing the craft beer scene

Really consistent - very up to date. There are a LOT of sites out there that claim to list brewpubs, bars and breweries. This one is the most accurate, most up to date that I've evern seen. No matter where I am, it's got a great list

Great App. It's a very useful app. Having the maps, contacts and web addresses is great. The ability to write and read other people's reviews is good. Having people other than critics review gives a idea of what places offer. It does need to update it's locations, but overall a very useful app.

Sweet. Suggested a place that has their beer list online and it was listed within a day or two. Room for improvement?, as with everything: yes. But they seem to be on top of it. Very nice.

Anything but bud. This app helps me find good, non corporate, brews Many good. Some, not so much. But Always an adventure.

Not very accurate but still useful.. I was surprised when some of the better and closer Tap Houses didn't show up on the list. Months later, still not there. I went through the process of gathering the information, website, and submitting it a while back. Still not on the map. If you're traveling this could be handy. If you are using the app to try all the local locations it seems to be lacking in accuracy.

Great app!. I’ve used this app for years now and it is wonderful! I’ve found it’s sometimes a good idea to put the address in google maps-especially in Europe-it doesn’t always have the correct place in the maps app.

Perfect for the beer lover!. If you like good beer, this is the app for you. I can find so many options with the touch of a button. If you wanna go out, you can find the right spot. If you wanna stay in, you can find where to buy. I really like the integration this app has with Google Maps, Twitter, and The Beer Mapping Project. You can easily find where to go and how others before you liked it. It's just an easy to use, svelte package for the beer guy/gal on the go.

Great app.. Travel alot. This app has pointed me in the right direction many of times. Discovered some hidden gems!! Just wish they could tell mr what beers the brewery had on tap before I get there so I can decided where to go if I can't hit them all.

Best app I've ever purchased. I live in Mississippi and really didn't expect to find anything in my area. As it turns out, there's a shop 13 miles away that sells Flying Dog, shipyard, blue moon and dozens other craft beers. I've lived here for years and never knew about this place. This app is sweet!

Go to app. This is my go to app for years. I got everything setup and I just push the button and my options pop up.

Easy to use, great search results. The different locations that I have traveled to throughout the US have been represented well using this app. Very rarely have I visited a brewery/brewpub that was not found on this app, and if so, I make sure that the brewery/brewpub is aware of the "Find Craft Beer" app so they can add their establishment to the data base. I have had friends call me to plug in their current location if they are having trouble accessing the Internet to find a new and interesting place to have a quality beer.

Use this all the time.. I travel a lot, and love to be able to find craft beer with this app. Keep up the great work!

Want quality beer? Find it here.. I travel all over the world and am constantly looking for a craft beer at the end of a long day. There's an app for that! I have located breweries, tasting rooms, ale houses and retailers via this app that I never would have found on my own. Having them rated and vetted by beer knurds is priceless. The reviews are pretty accurate (subject to personal tastes), and very helpful when multiple choices abound. To the reviewer who dinged this app for not listing every bar on the street he was walking down - you missed the point! Find Craft Beer will NOT list every lame American Swill watering hole in town. It would be worthless if it did!

The best app to find nearby beer locations. I have been using this app for years to find nearby brewpubs on my travels. It is quick and has a complete directory listing. I have tried other apps, and this one works better and has excellent data. Must have app for beer aficionados.

Internet?. For some reason whenever I'm not at my house connected to wifi and I try to open the app, it says it can not open unless it is connected to the Internet. It is annoying because I want to use this app in areas other than my home. When it does work randomy when I'm out, it is great and directs me to where I want to have a good beer. Just a few minor fixes and this app could be an A+.

My Go-To Travel App. This is a great way to stay current on local microbrew watering holes as well as homebrew stores. Indispensable when traveling and wanting to find great beer and food. I've never had a bad experience with this app.

Love It. Great for traveling, more than worth the price! Add an immediate feedback system to the project from it, and it would be perfect! Those that don't seem to like it appear to not understand how it works: this is a crowd sourcing product, just like Wikipedia. It is up to you to keep the info current! So when you find errors and omissions, send them in ! The more we correct, the better the info for all. Prost!

Cannot find the best bar in town. I live in San Diego, a great place for a wide variety of microbreweries, and one of the best places in town is obriens on convoy. They feature many of the local brews with literally daily beer rotations, and are very well known among us beer snobs. This app does not list them! It's a decent app, very simple and clean looking, and I will definitely use it, but the developers need to expand their database.

Best app I own!. I travel a fair amount and this app can always locate a nearby brewpub - an effort that used to take a lot of asking around and exploring. It all adds up to more time at the bar to drink great brew! Life's too short for bad beer, friends.

Impressive!!. I've been looking for something like this for over a year. My Wife & I were in San Francisco for the Giants-Dodgers series and used it to find several new watering holes. I plan on using it a lot more in the future.

Great App from a Great Site. I used to link directly to the web site from my phone. Glad to have an easy to navigate app. This app/site will always help you out in a true "beer emergency".

Bad info is worse than no info. Used the locator and went over to one of the suggested locations. I drove around in circles and couldn't find a brew pub anywhere. I called their phone number and it was disconnected. Apparently this data isn't necessarily up to date. Its probably a good idea to call before wasting time traveling to one of these locations. For a purchased app, That seems unacceptable.

Beer Retail. Needs updated. There are many (10+) local micro/craft beer retail shops/bars/eateries that are not listed in Northern In. and the one listed has closed 2 yrs ago. Great concept for an app. tho. Please update. My $.99 has been wasted so far.

If only I would have had this years ago..... If only I would have had this years ago when I was on the road constantly I wouldn't have had to spend futile hours searching for bars, asking clueless hotel staff, or locals for all the beer places around town only to be sent to a place with 30 BMC taps. Works great!

Great App. Some may say the data base is weak. However, when you don't have any options on where to go, this is great. Even while on vacation in The Netherlands it help us to find good beer. No bugs or any problems. If you like Craft Beers you MUST have this.

My Favorite Travel Companion. I travel a lot for a living and I'm a self proclaimed beer snob. I hate being in a city I'm unfamiliar with and taking a potluck chance at getting a good craft beer. Dandy app to have in the ATX!. With so many good local beers here in Austin, we are very aware of what's what and who's who. However, with the continuing explosion if beer houses, brew pubs, micro this's and that's it's good to have something which helps to pinpoint ones options at any given moment at any given locale. Highly recommended. If only they would come up with a "Find Local Loose Women" app...

Nice app needs some technical fixing. This is a very nice app, but it often won't work unless you restarting the phone first. I imagine an update would fix this, but I've had the app a while. O doubt one is coming.

Great bier app. I use this app when I travel or even take little trips away from home. I find it is always best to find good beer and allow good food to follow.

Convenient. In my busy travels it's nice to pull up the app.. Then just pick what interests you. Some I would have never new existed! Which have been equally enjoyable on a different level.

Best... So far.. This is the best beer mapping app that I have found, thus far. I still find breweries that don't exist anymore or beer bars that are less of a beer bar than one not listed. The worst part of this app is the ability to edit, correct, add, and delete.

Excellent App. We use this to find local beer places wherever we travel. Although the first line is the standard start for a review, it also has the strength of being true! Where ever I travel, the first thing I do is check the surrounding area for beer using this app. Another trick I do is when I visit a place, I check to see if the app knows where I am. It hasn't failed yet!

Needs better database. Database lacking. None of my regular spots are listed and even my local Bevmo doesn't show up. Interface ok, but they should have some way for user updates of locations .

Check your facts. First brewery recommended went out of business three years ago. I'll keep the app and see where it takes me, but you need to check up on closings.

Love this app. I've used this app from Alaska to San Diego and I love it! Always gives me good info. One down side I did notice is that if there are no places close by, it tends to crash. Not frequently though, so still 5 stars!

Mostly great. Just needs a serious update for some bugs. Could also use an update on newer beer establishments in areas (that don't even appear on the apps lists), that have been around for at least a year.

Good app but places missing. I like the app but it has so many places that serve craft beers missing. I was at a Plaza yesterday where I knew a minimum of 3 locations that have craft beers. I looked on the app & only one is mentioned.

Beer where i need it. Not all craft beer locations are always listed but I have never been disappointed with the ones on the list. It's nice to find a great beer in unfamiliar territory.

A MUST for craft beer lovers!. This is THE app to find craft beer bars or breweries. We travel a lot, and we've been able to discover some great gems thanks to "find craft beer". Never plan a trip without it!
