App closes. App closed 4 times when I tried to open the app and once it finally stayed open it shut down when I clicked on a story.

Person55. I updated the app today. Then I tried opening it, it kept snapping shut. Unloaded app and downloaded again with same results... what is going on? Have iPhone.

Opening screen ads now?. As if it wasn’t bad enough that all of your articles are flooded with advertisements, now we have to sit through opening advertisements when we open the app too?

Too hard to use. This app is not user friendly. Not enough news. Too many ads! Can't find Mr. Food recipes anywhere either after they're featured on TV. All food postings seem to feature Everyday Moms news.

Ads are overwhelmingly. Come on 13. Your news are great but your ads are overtaking your reporting. Now there is no way to exit out of getting into app without some shady hunt and peck. BTW Marcos, I don’t want to order any more from you than I already do because your ad sits there forever. Enough 13. Put the ads in your content if you have to.

Missing schools for delays and closings. SENTINEL CAREER & TECHNOLOGY CENTER Is missing from the list of schools to be selected for notifications on delays and closings. It would be very nice if this can be corrected. Thank you in advance.

Why!?. I used to be able to just push the button and see the weather now you want me to download an extension application just to see the weather stupid if people want more give them the app but for those who just want the temperature and maybe some headlines. Dumb move.

Missing notifications. Notification symbol shows on home page but when I open app there is no notification present to read.

Horrible viewing experience. Every segment before commercials cuts off about 5 seconds early, and the app freezes while on a dead screen during commercials. Need to exit and restart the app which forces a new commercial then, by the time the news broadcast is back you have missed most of it. This is a horrible way to watch a local news broadcast - I’m not sure what the developers of this were thinking! I now watch a competitor’s news station, which is available on Fubo live stream.

App evaluation channel 13 Toledo. Annoying pop up ads every time the app is opened. More ads at the bottom of the screen. Still more ads interspersed throughout weather and news articles. I would delete this app, but keep it only for severe weather alerts.

Generally okay. It’s a good app, sometimes it doesn’t loop the radar as well as I would like. The thing that will make me stop using it is the trump advertisement that keeps trying to get you to take a poll. I just wan the weather and local news it

Great news and station - bad app. I’ve watched this news team for years but finally deleted the app. It crashes regularly. There will be lead headline or breaking news notifications, but when you go into the app, the story isn’t there. Bad app. Deleted it today.

Worst in Toledo. This app. Crashes frequently or just doesn’t work. And when it does it cuts out just before they go to commercial so you miss most of what they say and it comes back late from the commercials so you miss news that way also. You would think that a station owned by Disney could afford a better app. Or at least one as good as the other TV stations in Toledo.

So so. This app is okay but there needs to be a location that says snow emergencies and levels. When I am getting ready in the morning I sometimes don't have time to watch the weather and I can never find them on here. Also, why is it the news is never in order. There are only a few stories and usually I see yesterday's first. When I get a notification about something I go to click on it and it is only there half the time. This app needs to be more user friendly

Not a very informative app. There are about as many commercials and advertisements as there are news stories! The web page layout is cumbersome, too.

App shuts down, goes to home screen on iPad.. Had to reopen app three times in five minutes. Jumps to iPad home screen while trying to read any article. Is there some kind of a conflict between the app and the latest iOS version? Shut downs getting worse. Time to completely rebuild this app. It does not appear that anyone is monitoring the articles for updates, multiple postings, accuracies, etc. Not an award winning app.

Crashes and closes immediately. I used to use this app regularly. Now I can’t get it to open for some reason. I have updated it and still no luck. It just crashes and closes as soon as I try to open it. I hope they fix it soon.

Now...matters are worse. I used to like this app. Now it quits regularly and will not allow me to share stories...it quits then too. The video portion of the screen is too huge and requires me to keep scrolling to read the text. Late loading portions of the page make sure that I have to constantly adjust the screen while I’m reading. I get the idea that video is a valuable tool for the story, but often I am not able to play videos while others are present in the space I use and reading is now more of a chore in this app.

Commercials. The problem listed above the Re removing them is not fixed. I finally temporarily deleted ap because could not remove ad from screen. Today news items are covered by ads.

Terrible app. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. The app doesn’t even open anymore. It just keeps closing itself. When a breaking story pops up and you click on it you aren’t even taken to the story. Also it’s really hard to find snow emergency levels. The whole app needs redone. I deleted it and got WTOL.

Doesn’t play nice with Airplay. When I stream through Airplay, the video freezes after a commercial. I have to quit the app, start again, and try to pick the right spot on the progress bar to pick up where I left off. Usually, I can only watch the first segment as the play button goes to pause almost immediately.

Crashing. For the past two days, app keeps crashing when I click the News section.

Check washing. Call police Department make a report, call bank and Post Office. Use Uni-Ball 207 Gel Pen according to PO. Our church in Oregon comprised also. Police said it is rampant in this area.

Too many ads. Forcing you to watch ads, not useful for just a few local stories.

Fix it already …. Okay. You released an update without fully vetting it. Crashes repeatedly upon launch. Shall we hold our breath waiting for a fix?

New ads. Great app, except for the excessive overuse of ads. I find myself closing the videos before I watch them most of the time because the preceding add is so long. When I do wait for the add to finish, the video often won’t play. Causes me to use it far less than I would. I’d say fix it, but they won’t.

What th’?. Well, whatever you did to the news app has totally screwed up the weather link. First I deleted the app then reinstalled it and it was fine. Now, a couple hours later, I have the news but no weather. What th’?

Fix the bugs!. Often get notifications of a news story, accident, traffic concern, weather warning, etc. but when I “swipe to open”, the story is no where to be found. Opens to a page of news from the recent history, but nothing about that notification on the app.

The app won’t load. My wife using an older iPhone opens the app. I called the station about it and it worked for a little while, now it doesn’t load, just spinning trying to load but never does.

Proof read much?. I’m giving the app 2 stars due to the fact that stories are posted with to many spelling errors. Where is the editor? Then today I see that you all did a story with pastor Pitts. Why? Why would you do an interview about Easter/COVID-19 with a PERVERTED MONSTER? He has multiple arrest for flashing women and children at parks, neighborhoods, etc. Why not just ask a prisoner in jail about the peak of the COVID-19 and how he feels being stuck behind infectious walls?

App won’t open. I used to like this app, but within the last week it won’t open. I have deleted and reinstalled, but it still doesn’t work. Please fix!!

Awesome. I really like this app! It shows you everything what is going on and it always gives you notifications about things to! I would really recommend getting this app!

Keep news stories UPDATED. This app is suppose to inform the public of the news, sports, etc... but it seems like no one updates the news stories on it! Old stories linger on the app way too long! If you are putting an app out there for the public to keep updated on CURRENT news stories and breaking news, PLEASE have someone keep up with adding/deleting the content!

Best of the best. They give me the weather and breaking news I need to know I love this app

Slightly below average app.. The app has been broken for three days. The news isn’t updated very often so I end up using the other local new apps to stay up to date. I haven’t given up on you guys yet, don’t let me down.

Not on my new iPad. This app runs ok on my iPhone. It will NOT run on my newer fully updated iPad. I get their opening ad, then nothing will load. I like the app and would give it a better rating if it ran. Fix it, please.

Print size. Allow the print size to be bigger all the time. If available now make it more obvious how to do it.

Used to like. I have had this app on my iPhone for several years, about 2-3 wks ago I began having problems, won’t open. I have over 25 notifications that I have not been able to open. What is the problem?

What happened to your app.. Does not work half the time. The weather app no problem. Shame they don’t fix it.

Happy Birthday Trumpet. Why when I reopen this app for the firs time in forever the first thing I get is a full screen requesting I say happy birthday that includes his picture. I realize this is paid for but his birthday is not representing anything on current events or political views. Dumping this App

New version is sloooooow. New version is slow, does not show current temp anymore and does not offer the option to change font.

App videos bad. App closes for no reason at all frequently. Mine is on an iPad Air2 . When I try to open videos, (mostly imported videos) God only knows what video is going to open up, then I’m looking at a wheel spinning around in circles wondering when it’s going to open. Concerning news, very disappointing as they no longer put in descriptions of suspects involved in crimes that could help us at Citizen’s be safe. safe. Coincidently, recently I noticed that if the suspect is a Caucasian, channel 13 will put the description in.

No Weather. I’ve been using and defending this app for years. Yeah, the news articles may not always be the most up to date, but I like 13abc. I’m going to have to switch to using the WTOL11 app now though. 13abc has created a separate app just for weather and the weather forecasts can no longer be accessed through the regular news app. I do not want to install two 13abc apps on my phone; too much clutter. I would rather have my news and weather in one app.

Needs updated. Precise location sharing/tracking doesn’t work, at least for the weather section that I’ve noticed so far.

Terrible. This app has too many ads and there are frequent misspellings in news stories, the weather shows the wrong time for sunrise and sunset, and mine right now (just updated) shows the wrong graphics for the forecast daily weather conditions. About a week ago I was getting only news stories from somewhere in Minnesota for several days before someone finally noticed and fixed it.. maybe it fixed itself who knows. Always crashes or just stops responding also.

Fix your App!. I couldn’t stand it anymore. I deleted this app from my phone. It is terribly designed. When I click on the alerts, I get an explosion of blue and white junk, ads and nothing pointing to the alert that was sent!!! Ugh… I don’t have time to look for it.

GPS does not work.. Even though I have GPS enabled it says I do not therefore I cannot get specific weather for my town

Just updated. Now won’t open. When I try to open it, all that happens is I get to see the full page walllpaper with your logo. I can see it looks for my location by the symbol at top of my phone screen. But then nothing changes. Completely freezes. So your new update has stopped it from working

Ads overlapping stories in articles. PLEASE PLEASE fix the app so that ads stop overlapping text in your articles. I would like to read the whole article and there is always a part where the ads are over the text and that part of the story can’t be viewed.

This app is hazardous. Pop ups, malware and fake news stories made to look like the real news stories in the feed. This app is a cornucopia of malware delivery. Too bad, I like local news.

Love this app!!!. This is my go-to app. I am on it consistently throughout the day. I don't often have a chance to sit down and catch the news, and this has it all wrapped up user-friendly in one bundle. Love you guys!

New app channel 13. I am sorry but really do not like your new app design. . It's really to bad you changed the app it worked great and was my go to weather app. Sometime change is not good.😢l It is one of the worst apps I have used. It freezes, you are no longer able to just get weather videos. I am so disappointed in the app. I use to use it all the time. Now I have deleted it and been searching for a new weather app.

Lots of nice features! Must have been updated since the poor reviews.... Bad weather alerts, road closings due to bad weather/down power lines, lottery, gas prices, top news stories, etc! Really like this apps features!

Very useful app. I love using the 13ABC app. It is especially helpful when we are on vacation. I am able to watch Channel 13 weather reports and news while even hundreds of miles away from home. The school closing link is quite handy, too. It's nice to be able to get instant access to the status of my school district without having to wait for it to scroll by.

Great App!. Well done 13ABC. Covers everything one needs to know. You can scroll through news stories or watch live during specified broadcast times, choose to scroll through weather or watch the latest aired video, and check out closings/delays very quickly and easily with just a tap. No more watching the scroll at the bottom of the TV screen and waiting. There are numerous other options of things to view as well. I use this app daily and have never experienced any issues with it. Well worth it to download this app!

Needs more. The app opens slowly and does not have a category for entertainment, shows, festivals, bands, events.

liberal garbage. i used to love this app and get on and check the weather and read all of the stories but now it literally is liberal garbage. seriously. what am i reading? news? or a story about how much these people hate our president. get it together i thought it was adults writing these articles. deleting the app!

Love the app, hate the ads!. What's up with the multiple huge ads showing up lately? I understand they help pay for the app, and I can handle one, maybe two, small ones that I can scroll through, but these huge ones that move and pop up every time I scroll are driving me nuts! Since we don't do TV, this app is my source for news and weather, but I'd rather buy an app without ads than mess with this! Please fix!

Awful weather update. I never, ever rate apps, but the recent update that completely altered the functionality of the weather section warranted this. It's now far too busy, providing less information despite taking up more space. Scrolling repeatedly in all directions is now necessary to access info that was previously accessible immediately. The update over-complicated what should be a simple, user-friendly interface.

Excellent source of pertinent info. I love this app. Having children, I cannot sit down to watch the news when it's on. This app allows me access to the news I want, when I want it. I have already told family & friends, who a also downloaded the app & they thanked me for sharing such a great resource. Especially with the weather & snow days we had this winter!! Political trash. Users are forced to watch political advertisement before app will open

Very helpful!. When I need to see what the weather is going to be like, I can check the live Doppler radar and I can watch the latest weather broadcast video. Very helpful for planning the day!

13 tee shirts. Always had in past trying to find things like the tee shirts, this website is the worst

Very poor app of late. Hangs up on startup. Probably outsourced development but definitely reflects very badly on the station. Delete!

Won’t load on iPhone. Doesn’t even work. I’m deleting and will just use internet to get in website for school delays and closings.

Best in area. This is the best of the 3 Toledo stations for getting local news and weather on my phone. It is easy to find information I am looking for and does not overwhelm me with stuff I don't need

Update killed live stream. After update app no longer plays the live stream. Went back to safari Much better then the app. They obviously made the app because everyone else was making apps. I like the looks but not the function. Live stream freezes so much it's barley worth running on. Then why do I have to go thorough so many steps to watch live stream. Touch live stream tile/ then watch video/ then arrows at bottom right to get rid of white header/ then touch the screen again to get rid of bottom control menus. I'm thinking one click instead of 5 would be a little better. Live stream and if it's not time then show the time listing for live stream.

Disappointing. There are WAAAAY to many advertisements. Recently, I can't even get the news to come up. Did I mention waaaaay to many advertisements??

One sided. ANC can post there one sided agenda and not allow for any comments on outrageous reports. They know what there doing by not allowing any comments. I give this app a zero if I could.

Not worth it. The live stream is nonexistent and needs constant buffering just to get a message that says try another time.

ADS, ADS, ADS!!!. I usually watch this in the morning after the alarm goes off; during normal commercial breaks, the same stupid bumpers, fillers, and station promos are shown over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again! (The one promo about 13abc Good Morning, with the bedraggled-looking couple I've named "Rumpled Raincoats," where the guy is wearing a polo shirt about eight sizes too big, is especially annoying, especially when it is shown three times in succession!!) According to the news producer, normal commercials aren't authorized for online consumption! If we log in with a Buckeye or Spectrum subscription, does that change?! (I'd throw you folks a couple bucks a year to be rid of the ProMedica junk, and to simply have a "Commercial Braeak--Programming will return shortly" message, instead of the piffle you show online now!) To access the live broadcast, you have to sit through an ad, which vary between Directions Credit Union, and various ProMedica ads. Annoyingly, some of the ProMedica ads take up to a *** minute *** to load, after which, you've likely missed Ross' or Jay's weather forecast!! At least, until iOS 11, I could navigate away from the app in order to avoid have to see Mr & Mrs. Rumpled Raincoat five times between the first news segment and the second segment with the weather! Now, after iOS11, when I come back to the app and hit the Play icon, the network activity icon disappears after a couple seconds, and the only way to get it back is to return to the menu screen, and go back into the broadcast--maybe you'll get the Directions Credit Union ad which loads in ten seconds, maybe you'll wait a minute or more to be regaled about the benefits of some stupid Call-A-Doc from the Green House of Oostra! Either way, you're going to miss the weather, and sports, and perhaps the entire newscast as well, while waiting for the stupid ads to load! Fix this thing so that one can go between the live broadcast and other apps, and not have to either stay in the app and watch those stupid, lame, insipid promos, fillers, bumpers (and Mr. Rumpled Raincoat at the end of that promo cocking his finger in his belt loop with five inches of sleeve hanging below his elbow, looking about as cool as month-old bread--or a bucket of fecal material) in order to avoid having to watch yet anotherr Oostra ad, or figure out how to get those ads loaded in a couple of seconds, instead of a minute or more, by which time, most rational people will have moved on from this CRapp to your competitors!

App efficiency. App goes out & blacks my phone out then phone comes back on app in the back ground! It is terrible! No other app on my phone does that!

Error. That’s all I get! Tells me to retry but still nothing! As soon as I can I’m going to delete it for good!

Stuck. The app hands up on the splash screen most of the time. Unfortunately I've had to go to the WTOL app for news because of this.

Great for news & weather. I really like the update; things are more organized and easy to find. I especially like that I can watch the most recent weather forecasts from TV.

Poor. This is poor. There is no weather video! Just read an article that had spelling errors and no punctuation, it was like reading a 4th grade essay. If you tap closings, it says updating try back later...it says that all the time, leading you to believe there might be delays or cancellations. Trying to get a local score of an athletic contest is awful, there are rarley any scores, and thats if you can find your team. Just putting all scores on and allowing viewer to scroll through them would be helpful. I know when this first came out it was better. Its like no one takes care of the app at channel 13. I personally am going with Ft. Wayne channel 15, there app is alot better!'

Love this app. I love this app, it's so helpful. I can get the news and the weather on the go. Also, I can see a live stream anytime I'm not home and can't catch the news. I also love the fact that I can watch the weather forecast.

Commercials. I resent you only showing president trump begging for votes everytime I open the app. You are supposed to be biased and give equal time to all candidates.

More concerned about advertisement. Just give us the news...

Mrs. MBJ. The app is fine as far as news apps go, but I cannot get over the grammatical and spelling errors that are in just about every story I read. I've read articles with incomplete sentences, atrocious spelling errors, and incorrect word usage (like there instead of their or who's instead of whose). I'm sure I sound nitpicky, but I would expect a journalist to be able to spot and correct these errors before publishing. It looks sloppy and unprofessional.

Best local app!. This is the best local news app! I love how the user can watch the video or read the news. School closing tab was very helpful and extremely quick this winter. I recommend!

Bad. The screen shots above are missing a permanent banner ad at the top for ProMedica (ProMedica in general totally annoys me) and one at the bottom for other various advertisements. There is not much room left for news. Like maybe 1 and a 1/2 inch. There's really not that much news or other content anyways. Every once in a while I find something decent. I guess maybe it's worth 2 stars.

Same news for days on here. Very buggy! Would be nice if news channel knew how to inform u of new news. Some pages are days old. Very bad spelling. And lots of crashes.
