Love this app but desperately needs update.. Technology is moving fast. Missing a lot of critical fixtures but still good for some older stuff. Please update!!

Great features, needs updating. Love the information and accessibility, just wishing for it to have more current info on products, as well as to update the catalogue of manuals so as to reflect current software versions.

So Far So Good. This app looks pretty good so far. Still needs a bit of work though. I would like to see a few more features. One, the option to switch to English measurement if your country is too lazy to switch to metric. Two, pictures of instruments if you're unsure if you've correctly identified them. Three, designer tools - it would be nice to have a handy reference of approximate beam size at given distances. Four, drafting reference - I'd like to see USITT standard drafting symbols.

Such a scam. Be careful with the premium library right after you pay for it the app locks up and you don’t get anything and there is no customer service to help or even get your money back.

Good as far as it goes. It's nice to have one place to go to get most lighting info you need. Sometimes it doesn't have what I need though. It seems to do an ok job of updates and staying pretty current with new gear.

Lx handbook. This app is a must have for all lighting designers and techs and any touring company can't cant tell you how many times I used this one. love this app

You need to update!. If you are going to charge for app features you should at least update and find ways to make the app better.

Limited use. I find it handy to use this to download the manuals for the equipment in my theatre and to keep it handy with me if I am up in the grid and need to reference something. However, it is pricey and a lot of its reference data is limited or missing.

Awesome. Been waiting for a app like this to add to my tool box. More conventional fixtures would be nice. The link for the manual is very handy.

Great in the field. Great app. Use it at least once a day!

Very handy. I'm liking what I see so far. It will save me the time and hassle of having to look up manuals when working with unfamiliar fixtures. Would like the see the actual lamp model(s) added to the info page and would appreciate it if you could add the SGM Giotto moving fixtures to the list.

Great app for students. I use this app all the time when working. I require my lighting students to download it as well. What a great resource.

Awesome App!. I can't tell you how many times I reach for this thing to double check wattages or modes. Absolutely love having it with me on the job!

Needs to be updated. This app is very useful but it soon won't work at all and really needs to be updated.

Please Add More!. Please consider adding hippotizer media servers. I use there equipment on a lot of my shows. and Martin media servers as well as there LC and EC LED panels. It would also be nice to add Lycian follow spots as well as considering adding a section for trusses, chain motors, other rigging gear, and possibly fabrics (such as voile, spandex shapes and other fabrics.) as well as adding base hazer to the list of manufacturers. a well known hazer manufacturer known for their water based hazers. Also consider adding direct links to pdf's of catalogues of popular manufacturers. Thanks for all of the work you have put into this app. I love everything you've done with it so far.

I like how you can save manuals in it. Whenever I find a manufacturers manual I can actually open it in this app and it asks for a custom name for it and now I am saving an archive of manuals on my phone. Pretty cool. Also you can download GrandMA2's FULL Manual! Now if this app could only switch to horizontal mode so you could make the font bigger without scrolling back and forth

Best Lighting App Ever. Being able to save the manuals you need is very helpful. This app is chock full of goodness. I can't imagine how it could be improved.

Continues to get better. I downloaded this app over a year ago and I'm really impressed with how with each update not only does the amount of equipment covered grow, but so does the functionality. It's always been able to download manuals to my device for off line viewing. However now I can do a search to quickly find the information I'm looking for combined with a hyperlinked table of contents. No longer am I furiously swiping my phone trying to find the information I'm looking for. In someways this app is better than having the actual manuel with you. Unfortunately an app like this is always going to be behind the curve when it comes to new technology coming into the field and I think the developer does a reasonable job keeping up. I use this app just about everyday on the job.

AMAZING APP FOR ANY TECH. I use this app every day in work, as a tech on cruise ships. I would recommend this app for anyone that works in the lighting world, has very valuable information at your finger tips all the time. THIS IS A MUST HAVE

Disappointed. Disappointed! You have to pay for anything useful given I'm in the field. You have pay for calculators, formulas and others, if you want the select the latest manufacturer lights, guess what you pay for that as well. Manuals are user manuals not service manuals. Very very basic info, the app should have been free with info offered or lack of. I feel I waisted my money and was ripped off.

O.K. ladders, really?. Having the ladder information as a main option seems a little weak. I find a lot of bad links to manufacturers sites, and outdated or missing product lines (elation does make controllers for instance ). It is a handy way to find and store most manuals I have looked for. I'd like to be able to import manuals I get from manufacturers unavailable through the current links.

Worthless app. Incredibly limited is putting it lightly. Barely any manufactures that are actually used are in this app. Missing major manufactures. No info on foot-candle measurements or luminance. Worst five dollar app ever

Don't buy. Not worth it. You're better off calling your electrician amigo.

Useful but outdated and buggy. Trying to switch between menus like from the manual back to the library the app crashes. Also some things are not current.

This is fantastic!. Can't tell you how many times I search the net for manuals. Great to have a first step, looks like a ton of manuals on this, also other useful tools.

Gus. An invaluable tool for lighting tech, have been working in the field for over 16 years and for an old lighting roadie like me it's the ducks nutz.

LX handbook. Guys you have designed a great app Nothing is out there quite like it, it's helped me in those crazy situations many times all with a tap of the button. If anyone is a lighting guy or anyone for that matter, I recommend it's definitely worth getting. Just so many great tools. Thanks again guys

Best reference. There are just too many lights these days, all with their own quirks. Having every manual and quick reference at hand just makes sense. Why memorize dmx channelling on a light you may only see once a year? Amperage? All there for you...

LX Handbook is an extremely valuable tool.. I use this app frequently to help prepare my lighting plots and paperwork. It is great to have easy access to a large inventory of fixtures.

A MUST. You work with lights, whether you program them or just hang them, you need this app. Period.
