My feeling. Let’s talk of my personal opinions for user of long turn cooperation individual. I can not critic the influence of this appliance can spread overseas. And recent years Chinese citizens can even use these functions instead of debit cards. Credit of Alipay really worked in some situations, but sometime it a kind of illegal money eaters. Firstly, you feel you want to loan through the strength of their products, the terminal shows how easy you can afford it by next month. Than actually it ask you for your unplanned pocket money. It feels like hypnosis. I feel Alipay just a kidding of credit, do not believe it. These credits actually your next month’s salary. And added more, I means credit just their trumps. They want not only your salary, but also your houses.

Let me create an account and make transactions but locked me out after 2 weeks. Alipay let me submit all my personal information, verify my US passport, accrue a balance, let people send me money, and make transactions without a chinese bank account for about two weeks. After two weeks they locked my account with a remaining balance and told me a chinese bank account is required. No warning that my account would be locked. I’m not able to login at all, transfer the funds out, or make transactions. I’m pretty sure this is actually theft of both my money and my personal information. I now think Alipay is a complete scam for non-Chinese citizens. As a Foreigner, I’m not allowed to open a chinese bank account and without Alipay I’m also not allowed to do basic things like order a Taxi, or eat at restaurants. Does the government give them the right to steal my funds without warning, without giving me the opportunity to withdraw the funds? Awful experience for non-Chinese citizen

It gives a good experience. This app give a good experience and it’s user friendly. I have in china for a month and when I have my phone with Alipay I am feeling safe because my money is safer.

Was able to pay in China. I was able to pay in China with Visa card, had to submit passport info and it processed 24 hours. Thanks

I couldn’t seem to convert my dashboard to full english.. I just could not seem to change my app dashboard over to full English. I tried to do that in the settings, but there were still plenty of apparently Chinese alphabet characters on screen. I would like to accept AliPay payments from my customes, but, until this English language component is substantially improved, I would not feel confident to use it.

Nothing works!. The scan doesn’t work it just stays in processing mode forever. Still not very friendly for Americans as some stuff is still in Chinese. In order to login you have to click help and make a selection then it will automatically place you in a user account. The app is slower than two turtle friend pals waiting to lick kids faces! Please fix this app!

the app only can use in Chinese!. If you don’t use it on Chinese it will be useless.

Foreigner finally able to pay in China. As a foreigner I was able to link finally my Mastercard to Alipay and pay in China after their rule changes in July 2023

Half English / Half Chinese. The app is neatly incomprehensible to set up. After setting up with help from Chinese Friend and entering two US Debit cards, everything looked fine however you can not use US Credit/ Debit card to purchase anything. Worthless if you do not connect to a Chinese bank. Also what moron approves an “English @ app where anything beyond the first screen in written in Mandarin? Don’t bother trying to find a support resource- you won’t find one that works.

Worse app. Doesn’t work, I uploaded all required information just to “open” an account to use it in China, yet in 10min got locked up. If you claim you are allowing international travelers to use this app, at least show some decency. Sorry but you failed again and stop promoting something you did not accomplished. What a waste of time

Unusable. I loaded this app as a suggested way to be able to pay in stores and restaurants in China that no longer accept US credit cards. It failed to allow any US cards to be added, saying “network error try again later.” Many of the selections and menu choices are in Chinese, even when English is selected as the language. Multiple times a White message box would open on the screen with two choices and the message all written in Chinese, forcing you to choose one of the buttons with no way to close the box without making a selection and no idea what you were choosing or potentially agreeing to or giving the app access to. Don’t install this if you can’t read Chinese. It’s worthless to a US traveler. I guess we’re back to the days of needing paper traveler’s checks in order to be able to get cash in Chinese currency. So ridiculous!

STAY AWAY IF YOU DONT HAVE A CHINA BANK. Utterly useless app unless you live in China, or have an account with a bank in China. Which if you are not Chinese is illegal. Why does this crap even show up. Apple needs to block this because the ask for you American bank account info. And then won’t accept it. Also can not be linked to PayPal or any Credit card.

I thought this was the English version!!!!!!. You say this is an English version but very little of it is in English you really need to make this a full English version. I live in US I speak English I want to send money to friends in China but I can’t because I can’t understand anything. Please fix the problem and make it a full English version. Make all of our life’s easier....

works for only Chinese especially in mainland. do not waste ur time if u didn't have a Chinese bank card

English Please!!!!!!!!. You are a massive company with international ambitions and prowess. Why can’t you make an app that works for English speakers? If you don’t know any, I have many Chinese friends with excellent English whom you could hire. Several of them are in Hangzhou, your HQ. As it is, this app is almost useless. Every button and instruction is unreadable. It’s a joke to call this the English version.

Bad: wish I can give no star. I tried to set up an account to use Tour pass. A function that supposedly allows to use foreign credit card to link to alipay. My internet got disconnected half way through the process. Alipay then locked me out and asked to link a bank card in order to lift the restriction. Because I don’t have a local bank card, I called the customer service. It sent me an email asking me to upload my passport photo to verify my identity. But the link would not accept the photo in a format from the iPhone. I called the customer service back, but it no longer allows me to speak to a live person and loop me through the same voice mail again and again. Also tried to help to set up Tour pass for my friend. Her first credit card doesn’t work and it does not allow to switch to another credit card to try again. Before they make this service works better for foreigners, I do not recommend anyone uses it.

Need more English. The app has some English but then in a the middle of a transaction it turns everything into Chinese and you just have no idea what button to push now. If you don’t have a Chinese local with you it becomes impossible to use. Alipay needs to fix it and make the English version more English for those that live in China and rely on the app but don’t read Chinese.

Stops working randomly. I only give it more than one star because it’s been working very well the past two weeks. But all of a sudden, when I’m trying to buy coffee or do laundry, it does not recognize my Mastercard as a valid payment method. Customer support is kind but doesn’t know how to fix the issue. For foreigners unable to use WeChat and totally dependent on Alipay, this is a nightmare that needs fixing ASAP.

Requires a Chinese mainland bank card + passport. If you’re like me and you cannot apply for a bank card in mainland China, you’re out of luck with using this app. My Taobao account is now locked because I cannot verify my Alipay account. Very disappointed. 😭

Horrible App for Non-Chinese Speaking. Was directed to use this app for breaking up payments for a flight. This app is not usable for a non-Chinese speaking person. This was in the Apple App Store for English users and it is definitely not a functional app for English users. Don’t know why Apple would even approve this app to be used to pay for flights over an extended period of time if you can’t read the directions within the app.

No support for iPhone 10. It has been a week since the release of iPhone 10 and Alipay still does not support face scanning. I have to put in my password every time I want to pay for something. I have started to use Wechat pay, which supported iPhone 10 since the beginning. I never notice how convenient it was to use Wechat pay. I think I will start using Wechat pay from now on. I recommend all iPhone 10 users to use Wechat pay and not wait for Alipay to update. I mean come on! it has been a week almost all other apps have updated to support iPhone 10.

Account didn’t exist anymore. I have been used Alipay account for long time. Today, it suddenly didn’t allow me to log in and said my account didn’t exist. I found that out when I needed to made a transaction. I have to log in on pc and make this transaction with fee. This bug hasn’t been solved at the end of today. It was very disappointed and scared since all the assets that I hold in an Alipay account.

Better and better. I work in an international school in China. I help our foreign staff to set up their Alipay accounts. All of us found it’s excellent to use this App in China at many life aspects.

Doesn’t work for US customers. Setting aside the fact that quite a few prompts, and some complete screens, are not localized to English, this app does not appear to take US credit or debit cards. I have no idea why this is in the US App Store, or why Apple approved it. Most of the functionality doesn’t work in the US and the app isn’t smart enough to hide features that don’t work based on location. Also the UI appears to be a challenge to how many functions can be smashed onto the home screen. Before expanding to the US, the company might want to have a US development team rework the app.

Crash often. I’ve been using Alipay more than 3 years, and for the last few month it’s been crash more than 3x.. the last one is today when I’m making payment it took decade to process and crash, payment error. It’s a shame probably because updates or something.

Language. So I’ve had this app for quite some time now. Unfortunately the entire app is in Chinese. I can’t understand anything. The pictures on here shows English. But on my app, it’s all Chinese and I do not know how to change it. That’s why I have to give this app 1 star. Because since I have downloaded it, I haven’t even been able to use it.

Dead End. I’m a Chinese citizen with US permanent residency. I have one Chinese bank account that I have used for more than 10 years. I cannot verify ID because using Chinese mainland ID will require Chinese bank account verification. The system do not recognize Chinese passport. Dead end for people like me. No use until I can physically go back and straighten my bank account situation.

Useless. It still doesn’t accept US bank card for identification purposes, so its usage is severely limited, almost useless! Hard to believe it’s from a big international company. Instead WeChat pay allows you use US credit card to verify your identification, which is a huge advantage.

It's only for Chinese. Why are western people downloading and complaining about this app. This app is only for Chinese bank account, it does not apply to the rest of the world because of the regulations of related laws.

Some English UI missed in this version. Some English UI was missed in this version, such as the icon name and pop-up messages. And the Supported Language filed shows only Simplified Chinese as well. Hope this could be fixed in next update.

Does Not support international credit card!. After working with customer service for about 3 hours, I was able to confirm there was no way to use my chase credit card with Alipay. The overall experience was horrible. I used to be a loyal customer but now Alipay totally lost my trust.

Less than 10% in English.. Regardless if you select English as your language and change your Region from China to International, almost everything is still in non-English format. As soon as the app opens the main page is almost entirely non-English, same is true for all the sub-pages too. To make things even worse, the directions, help FAQ, & help chat are 100% non-English. As such there’s literally nothing you can do other than subscribing to Babel or Rosetta Stone, lol.

How can you give one star!. Alipay is a very easy and useful app. When you take a bus or buy something or pay bill. Everything around your life can very easy to finish by it. I can’t believe some people give one star to this app. Can you give me other app better than Alipay ?

Yes you need to submit your personal information. But This app is the best one you should download if you go to China.

Tourist to China. From my understanding, there were changes starting in July 2023 which is when I'm writing this to allow foreigners to use AliPay without a Chinese bank account and phone number. I just downloaded the app, added my credit card, validated ID with passport and all appears to work. Was a bit more automated and easier than WeChat. WeChat seems to have a manual ID review which rejected my initial attempt. I tried again but awaiting approval. I haven't paid for anything yet as I just set it up but assuming no issues, it was relatively easy. Only adjustment required is that some prompts were still in Chinese even in the international version but can fumble around or ask someone to help translate. It's a must in this new cashless society which is different than my visit about 7 years ago. Even trying to use international credit card directly often fails.

Disappointed to see Lock Screen widgets lost. Disappointed to see AliPay’s Lock Screen widgets disappear in this version. They were very convenient, and more reliable than third party shortcuts!

Not able to set up my account. I want to use taobao so I downloaded this app to set up a payment method. However, after I input my phone number and click sign up. It keeps telling me I did it too frequently but I only did it once!

No iPhone X support. I used to love how versatile Alipay was. I used it for everything. I loved that it accepted my fingerprint on my iPhone 7. It made everything so convenient. But now I have an iPhone X and Alipay doesn’t use face recognition for payment the way it did with fingerprint. This is frustrating and inconvenient. WeChat used it and makes everything more convenient because of it. I often have to choose whether to use Alipay or WeChat to pay for things. Before it was no contest and I would choose Alipay. But recently I have been using WeChat more because of convenience.

Not supporting any USA bank account. I am living in USA, and wanted to send up a Alipay account so that I can do business easier with China, as it is used in many ways in China, but it doesn’t support any of my USA bank accounts, so I can’t link my bank to my Alipay account, what is the point that allowing me send up an account outside China but not be able to use it? I hope they work on foreign bank accounts ASAP.

Useless app. Should not be in the US App Store. Unless you are in china with a chinese bank issued card this app will not verify you. It will accept your card though so they are recording the input and storing it. But you won’t get anywhere with it beyond that The user interface is hard to navigate as it’s in mixed Chinese and English. Getting “help” is not helpful.

Make sure your card supports international transactions. International cards seem to add just fine, US only cards may not add properly for some reason. I was able to add my card without any major issues.

Stole my money. Same problem others are having. App worked fine for a while and was super convenient. I had some rmb in my account and was able to use services like bike sharing whenever I was in China. Then Alipay made a change that requires linking to a Chinese bank account (bank accounts outside of China aren't supported). This previously wasn't a requirement. Now I can't even log into my account.

Helps paying but that’s all. A must have for tourists because it’s the only way you can use cards to pay taxis in China (besides WeChat). But it’s painful and almost a nightmare because although the front page is English, all of the alerts are in Chinese. So if you don’t read Chinese, you don’t know what’s going on.

slow and ads app. If you want to experience an application that is full of ads and lagging speed, often with icons that are often misplaced are. Congratulations you have found it. Also from the network connection, full of statistical analysis.

Cannot use international credit card.. Terrible app. Poor design and always complain failure of payment when I try to use credit card. The only accepted card for payment is chinese domestic cards, though it allows you to add international card. It’s disappointing to see a giant like Ali has such a poor app. Whoever designed this should be fired.

Locked and limited account. My account has been locked and limited to using because it requires Chinese Bank Account, but as a foreigner, how can I have a Chinese Bank account? And I can’t go back to China to solve this problem at this time, there’s no flight I can take to. I have been used this app for sending and receiving the money with my relatives in china. But now, they locked my account and locked my money……

“Tour Pass” is a lie. Supposedly Alipay can now be used by foreigners traveling in China on a tourist visa. This is just not true. You can’t even make a Alipay account or get into the app without a chinese bank card. “Tour pass” is an option within the app so if you can’t make an account, you can’t get into the app. Its shocking that Alipay hasn’t figured this out and still advertises that “Foreigners can now use it!” because that isn’t true. I don’t recommend this terrible app.

Appalling number of ads. Ads ads ads. Ads everywhere. Constantly having these annoying pop up windows either to make you buy their insurance products, bogus gold products, or make you play some stupid games, wasting your time. There are at least like two dozen different games the development team have come up with and each generates some sort of its own proprietary coins which further complicate things. There’s Tao coin there’s Tao points and there’s Yuebao points and a dozen other kinds of coins and points. Absolutely confusing and pathetic.

Dark mode. When is dark mode gonna be made available? It’s been way too long. No 5 stars without dark mode feature.

Forced Installation. Why do you force people to install this app to see their account balance on PC???

Miss B. Convenient, but extremely hard to recharge if you don’t have bank account in China. Does not accept overseas Visa and Master card to recharge.

Bank card adding?. Unable to add bank card, so cannot attempt ant transaction.

Facial Recognition instead of Face ID. If you are using iPhone X, you cannot use Face ID for Alipay since they have their own facial recognition feature instead of using the API provided by Apple to enable Face ID. Big privacy concerns. Other apps which support Touch ID would support Face ID straight away but not Alipay.

Unbeatable in China. But difficult for foreigner. So convenient in China. But, might be political issues between OZ and CN, cant use over see account. Seems AU government also take this as a threaten ... Need opener mind from both countries! Globalization!

Does not allow sign up with Australian credit card. Not to say that they're discriminating but I can't use it because I don't have a Chinese credit card. Which is almost I can't use it because im not Chinese.

Phishing Rubbish. This app does not support non-mainland China banks but they will phish all of your information including photo ID and credit card details before they tell you that. Apple should remove this app from the App Store for this fraudulent behaviour.

Useless for non-Chinese. Can't be used unless you have a mainland China bank account, so don't waste your time. If you need a non-cash payment method in China, get a Bank of China Great Wall International Debit Card, which is UnionPay co-branded, if Bank of China operates in your country.

This app is unresponsive. Feels like 30fps lol And the system is not well thought out. Asking you to upload passport, then customer service says “oh looks like it’s missing a corner, probably in 3 days it will be rejected, please re upload then...” Good luck with your overseas expansion with this kind of logic and customer service

Limited and base transaction for non China bank people. A number of merchants who ‘cash’ AliPay do not work. Tourpass ‘for internationals’ charges 5% premium for service and total trip restricted to 5000RMB. For any long trips unless student trip not viable. Hi premium limited services. Have unionpay card and use BOC, ICBC or other major atms / banks!

Too many ads. Everything you do in this app will have ads. Someone scans a payment from your QR and then you’ll see an ad on the payment successful page. Pay your electricity and you’ll get an ad. Pay medical services and you’ll get ads. Open the menu at any restaurant and you’ll get a ads. Order food delivery in this app and you’ll get dozens of ads throughout your transaction. Even if you don’t use the app you’ll still get multiple notification ads every day. This app is completely full of ads and it really ruins the experience of using this otherwise revolution payment service and mini-app ecosystem.

This app is Only for residents in China. They don’t tell you about it, but when you try to create an account and do ID verification, you will be blocked: you need a bank account opened inside China. Very bad user experience!

Cannot transfer money. Useless app. I cannot transfer money because I didn't verify my identification. And I can not verify my identification because I don't have a China bank card and there's no other way to verify using passport or drivers license.

Can’t you deny it !?. Even you give it tons 1 star comments. You still have to use in China and all some convenience transitions outside China. It’s powerful and essential when you get into it. This is only the best app in cashless. If you want to use some business tricks, you should have it.

No English. What’s the point to give it this app to Americans where there is no English if general, language, English still 50% of the language is English that means I can’t understand nothing.

Problems. - Doesn’t instruct the users to go to a foreign App Store to download the version where they don’t need a Chinese citizen card. Hence a lot of the negative reviews here. - only works with domestic Chinese bank cards. I have those but it is kind of stupid to have an app in the friggin Canadian Apple App Store when none of my Canadian cards work !!!! PayPal is the best solution for now - Not everything is translated. But it’s ok because the important things are translated. - in summary , this version of the app is just a workaround for foreigners living in China.

need it in mainland. Every time I use cash and card in Canada reminds me of Alipay’s convenience in China Mainland. Pity it’s not very possible to be used globally.

Not working for the foreigner. As a foreigner, I am so frustrated with Ali pay. I got a local mobile phone number and a Chinese bank account. When I try to bond Ali pay with my Chinese bank account. It asked me my bank for verification. I give all correct information and it failed always. I tried to register my self from Ali pay web site and it refer my back to this app. This is such A STUPID app. It never considered the foreigner users. All the instructions are useless because it lead you nowhere even you follow them step by step. Sad thing is you need Ali pay or WeChat pay almost everywhere.

Super useful app. I fell in love with this app. This app makes my life so much easier. I’m loving it!

Worked great with my foreign credit card.. Bonded my foreign card to it before leaving for China. Worked great everywhere we went. Extremely convenient for shopping, taking the metro, taxi etc. Only problem was in Beijing where the metro card didn't work with a foreign phone number. Had to get a physical Beijing metro card which we could pay for using Alipay.

unidimensional world. this app has the same problem that Taobao has. they don’t know the X axis exist, they only use Y axis for their programs ( and coming from computer engineers, that is very worrying. This is specially notable on Ipad or tablets in general

Too complicated and annoyed if you use passport. Airpay is forced people to use them through a lot of marketing campain, meanwhile their process too complicated and annoying. If you use passport in order to citizen ID to open bank account, they required you provide your personal information (passport picture, your selfie with passport,…) through third-patry (mail) because their app doesnt accept passport. Email (in my case is gmail) is not enough protection for those information. And who responsible for my information stolen? When I download the financial app, I just want to work in the app and call your telephone switchboard. That’s it. Because you will responsible for all my personal information.

Not for Americans. Nothing about this works for Americans. It doesn’t accept US credit cards. Most of the pages are in Chinese. It wouldn’t let me input my mobile number to receive a text. It simply doesn’t work. It should not be in the APP store!!

Can’t register with a passport of P. R. China. I uploaded pictures of my passport ID page 3 times. They rejected 3 times, without any details of why or what’s not conforming. No customer service in US.

Unable to link cards. I used to be able to use AliPay International with my overseas credit card to pay. But now the apps refused to let me bind my credit / debit card to my account. I no longer can use AliPay International to do payment… really inconvenient!

Doesn’t support rotation when I rotate my iPad. please fix this bug as it’s quite annoying

Personal info. Look, I understand linking a bank card up, but I’m tired of this app ALWAYS asking for more and more of my personal info. Now you want me to link my passport to my account? You guys are the worst.

Too much ads and useless functions. This app have too much unusable ads, still has lots of Chinese words aren’t be translated in UI. Lot’s of functions can’t be used in America. And the complex UI looks like a pile of s*it.

Allow US Credit Cards. Come on Alipay! Give us American travelers the ability to bind a USA card to the account.

Downloaded the app and deleted it after 1 minute. I downloaded the app and after I put my number in, everything was in Chinese so I deleted it.

Prejudice against foreigners. Several services aren’t available for foreign citizens living in China and working in China. Why can’t Alipay offer foreigners the same service as the services for locals? Why is it against foreign expats to use Alipay?

Not for international users. I’ve tried using but although there’s an english language option, there are lots of Chinese menus and alerts.

This app is NOT translated. It says that it’s available in English but it’s only in chinese. Please fix this and you will get a better review but for now one cannot use this app if you don’t speak Chinese.

Invading my other apps with Taobao ads. Started seeing ads in Chrome on business websites where I had never seen ads before. Look, it’s great you have a big promo sale, but I’m going to move back to WeChat Pay for everything else if this intrusive behavior keeps up

Great app. actually it is best for shopping at Taobao, and I can pay my taobao with my US card.

It’s getting bigger. Original size is around 200MB, now it’s 700. Cache is only 6MB. I have to delete it and then reinstall it. Why not make it smaller??

IT DOESN’T WORK IF YOU USE VISA/AMEX CARD. So I was trying to top-up my phone in China, this app doesn’t allow me to do so without a Chinese bank issued debit or credit card. It’s so annoying and inconvenient. I tried different credit cards (Mastercard, Amex, visa), none of them works. Such an useless app.

Useless. Why even bother to put the app on the US store or gives the appearance that we can use a non-China mobile number to sign up when one can’t do anything with it by using a US credit card. Called the help line and it was totally useless as well.

Really need to provide Face ID support for iPhone X. WeChat was able to immediately update their app to support Face ID. Seems Alipay is not up to date with the times...

A total scam. It lets me download the app and sets an account, but it won’t verify my identity after I sent in my documents. This app is a total scam, it shouldn’t be on the Apple Store in North America if it’s not capable to hand this kind of issue.

Useless. Useless without a Chinese bank account. Its sole purpose is to harvest passport numbers, face scans, and (even foreign) credit card numbers before at the very end telling you that your foreign card is just for verification—you need a Chinese bank account to actually use it.

Convenient. I like using it. It’s like playing a game. Like Who is the luckiest one. To scan red pockets it’s really fun :)

Can not verify real name. The AliPay real name verification can not be completed even with a Chinese mainland bank card. The customer care service is also just a waste of time.

Stealing personal information. Do not download this apps, once you register you will receive a lot of harassment sms. They will sell your information.

Only Zig you have a Chinese bank card. Totally political affiliated. Only a handful merchants take visa/master, they force you using cash but the western world take all Chinese bank cards?

Doesn’t work. In Shenzhen now, tried to pay the dinner bill and it go through. Switched to WeChat and it worked flawlessly.

Worked for some but it does not work for all vendors. I am in China. When I used it for the 1st time, it worked. It did not work on the second vendor. Got a strange message about turning off VPN. I don’t not have VPN.

Unfriendly to non-Chinese citizens. Very unfriendly to non-mainland-Chinese users who do not have a mainland Chinese account.

Useless if you don’t have a Chinese bank account. Title sums it up. Doesn’t accept foreign cards even though the entire process leads you to believe it does. Quite frustrating.

Review. Customer service is excellent

Taking my photo without authentication. Right after login, Alipay triggered the front camera and took a picture of mine without any permission. I'm kind worried the photo could be uploaded to its server before people authorizing it.

Ask for face scanning. Refuse to log me in with my password, ask for camera permission to scan my face. This is the worst company. Don’t use it! Or your money get trapped inside it and you have to hand over your face to get your money back.

RIDICULOUS AGREEMENT. The app tries to fool user in EVERY way to agree a RIDICULOUS AGREEMENT which shares ALL PRIVACY to all third parties, and CANNOT UNDO. Since I still have to use this stupid app and bear all the junk massages due to privacy leak, one star is a fairly high rate. FOR OTHER USERS: be careful everywhere not to agree ANY agreement it sends you.

Stay away from it. This app requires way too much personal information. Why does it have to? How can App Store allow such an phishing-like-app in here?

Unable to use US credit card. I’m working and traveling in China, downloaded this app and it won’t take my US credit card. Lame! DiDi takes my US credit card no problems.

Malicious spyware. This app collects personal information from the world for the Chinese government. Stay away! Don’t install this spyware on your phone. China will know everything about you!

Language barrier. The home page converts to English no trouble but every page after that will not translate to English. Fix the issue to help business travelers with transit, and food purchases.

Please add English language!. It would be much easier to navigate if there was an English language setting available. Please consider adding it in future updates!
