Update is hard to use. This new version of mobile Lexicomp is very hard to use now that I can no longer go straight to the section of the monograph that is needed. It’s really annoying to have to scroll all there at down to PK or the Preparation section because it’s farther down.

Lexicomp cancellation. I couldn’t simply click a button to cancel my recurring subscription, but had to call and talk to someone so they could click a button to cancel. Then they said since I didn’t cancel 5 days before the 30 days was up, that I will be charged again. Shady business tactics. I asked why I would be charged and she said “It is all explained in the terms and conditions you agreed to when you first subscribed. ” Never again. What a joke.

Indispensable, but.... After using the Palm OS version of the software for many years, I switched to an iPod touch. Being able to wirelessly update the databases when I'm home is awesome. Unfortunately, the software has locked up a few times at work. Hopefully it's not a recurring issue. Like the Palm OS version, Lexi-Comp still cannot search within content. You are required to search drug listings beginning with the first letter or number. Once you select a drug monograph, a jump menu lets to move to different sections, but again, there is no search capability within the monograph. Also, the iPhone/iPod touch version of the software does not display your subscription information, and it's not available within your online account either. If you want to know when your subscription is going to expire, you have to call them.

Latest update. Update: The latest update fixed my 2 problems I wish this new update didn’t automatically check for updates when you open the app. I work in a place that doesn’t get reception or WiFi so I’m stuck on that update page for at least a minute until it fails to connect. I can’t navigate away from that update page when I don’t have reception. Also when you search for a drug I wish it would show the drugs that begin with the letters you typed first. For example, if I search for a drug that begins with H, show the H drugs first. Don’t show me every single drug that has the letter H in it.

Update. Excellent information but poor design. Update: let me just say I HATE the new update. My biggest complaint is when selecting “jump” through different monograph shortcuts it automatically makes the “mono” the default selection. As if I’m going to remember Lexicomp’s monograph order to find things. No. I want the option of “alpha” the alphabetical monograph jump section to be my default. I would like the ability to change my default and I cannot. It’s a huge pain. Not only that but the mono menu is also not fully expanded and because of that it’s easy to miss sections if you don’t remember to press expand all EVERY SINGLE TIME. Your update blows. Made the app even worse. The is perhaps one of the best drug references out there (content wise) HOWEVER it is extremely expensive and the software design is weak at best. It takes too long to navigate to find the exact information you want to know (endless scrolling though a ton of text). If it was formatted better it would be my go to app. This app needs a lot of work. Automatic updates for one thing. Please make it better it is 2016 and this app's poor design is lagging. If they used some of their money to hire software engineers that actually know what they are doing this app would be a lot more user friendly.

Ease of use clearly not the goal. This app is pretty nice if it was designed in the early 2000s. When I look up a drug to get basic info like dosing, MoA, adverse effects, I have to scroll through an entire list of the same drug names to find the correct entry. Every time I open the app, I find myself quickly resorting to other references.

Sick of the crashes. Let me start with the good stuff. This is the most comprehensive medicine/pharmacy app available. Great content. But, it crashes constantly. The only way you can get it to work reliably is to put your phone on airplane mode. This is incredibly frustrating because it is impossible to look up something in the database while you are on the telephone. I have had a subscription for over two years, but this will be my last unless this problem is fixed. Update: After I posted this review, I got a telephone call and an email from customer support advising the new update had solved the crashing issue. I followed the steps they suggested and the problem seems to be resolved.

Garbage app. App is absolute trash. The subscription/log-in process is convoluted. Passwords don’t function properly, and the reset only resets the password for the web store but not mobile access. I wish my institution didn’t use this service.

And I’m Done. For the first time in 10 years, I am not renewing my subscription. Lexi needs to update their business model and actually get some decent app developers to fix their garbage app. I am not paying $300+ for an app that constantly crashes and is slow to load. When I need info, I need it NOW, not in the apps leisurely time, if it feels like working. I always have the newest iPhone, so processing power is not an issue. I don’t want to call and speak to someone to transfer my subscription when I buy a new phone every year, I don’t want to pay again if I am working with my tablet and want to access information. I have no other app that has these restrictions. Micromedex and Epocrates may not be as comprehensive, but they are not $300 and they seem to work more consistently.

Keeps crashing. App keeps crashing. It’s completely unusable now

Greed. LexinotsoComp was my favorite app to make decisions, unfortunately there is annual changes to prices compared to data provided. I’m not sure why I’m using it. They offer basic plan for limited databases that I’m already aware of and do not need, and offer the rest of the databases that I need for half of my paycheck. I’ll be waiting for a price cut down at least by half, otherwise I’d rather pay my bills thank you.

Update is awful. Update is awful. Difficult to use. Pediatric dosing missing (for example cefdinir).

Now we’re talking!. Glad they are bringing the Lexi-Comp app up to the same excellent standards as their UpToDate app. Also...SPLIT-SCREEN ability with the iPad pro!!! 👍👍👍

Back to 5 stars. **revised** Developer published a fix to the update screen default. Everything is back up to speed and no more waiting for drug info if there is slow or no WiFi access. Thank you! The newest version of the app defaults to the update screen. I can’t tell you how much I HATE this. If there is a poor signal or no WiFi access in a building, it is not possible to navigate away from the update page until the device has failed to make a connection. How embarrassing when a physician stops me in the hallway or calls and I can’t look up the information of concern. It just makes an angry physician who isn’t interested in waiting while I stare at my unresponsive screen. If I could keep the drug data in my head for instant recall, I wouldn’t need Lexicomp in my lab coat pocket at all times. Please change this!

Way too expensive. It's an invaluable tool to have but the cost is just too much

Love this application, it is my go to clinical reference. I’ve been using Lexicomp for the last 15 years going back to their palm os/Windows Mobile software and have had nothing but a great experience. The app just keeps getting better and better and I’m surprised that physicians are complaining about the cost, as this is the holy grail of information. Yes, it will cost lots of money, but most institutions provide a subscription to you. There are some years I paid for this out of pocket, but it’s always been worth it. Keep the app updates coming, even if the development for iOS can be a challenge for Lexicomp.

the best, but buggy interface & $$$. The pediatric drug monographs and lexicalc are top notch. This is the medical reference tool I use most often on my iPhone. worth the subscription fees. Databases should auto-update whenever connected to wifi. Minor annoyance. IV compatability and drug ID keep coming back. i try to delete from my home screen and menu bar and they keep coming back. I will never subscribe to them. I have little use for them. For the money I'm paying for multiple other databases, the app should be able to save my view preferences. major annoyance.

Crashing Fix. I know this is a hassle. It was for me. But the way to fix the crashing issue is to delete the app from your device, re-download the app from the app store, reinstall back on your device, open app, log in (you need to re-enter your info), and update your "products." You should be back in business again.

The best app for detailed drug info-a must for physicians. I always go to Lexicomp for detailed drug info. I use Epocrates quite alot as well, but when I'm in need of very specific info-kinetics, side effect frequencies, drug and dietary interactions, etc. Lexicomp is absolutely unmatched. I've used it for years, starting with my palm tungsten, and for the last few years with my iphone. Very high recommendation from a busy clinical cardiologist!

Bait & Switch. I have an institutional subscription that has to be rE registered annually, did the usual, and the (expletive expletive expletive) app would not stop saying my subscription was expiring until I clicked ‘confirm your subscription in the App store’. I saw something that said ‘$0.0’ and signed OK. Then I see a receipt from Apple for a paid subscription. Lexicomp app engineers who created this ‘bug’, app program managers who approved it, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.

Don’t waste your time.. My job deals with acutely ill patients in a hospital setting. For years the ease of use and detailed information made this favorite resource and I used it almost daily. For the past few years however each update has lessened the ease of access and made it more difficult to justify the price of purchase when compared to similar apps. A few days ago I opened my LexiComp app and found a series of frustrating and confusing steps that needed to be taken before I could access the information I wanted. Attempts to reach customer service were of no use. I have requested a refund due to my inability to access the information I need in a timely manner but have yet to receive a response to my request. Given the price I paid for this app the lack of response was frustrating to say the least. As a hospital based provider I need accurate and quickly accessible information which no longer seems to be available from this developer. Don’t waste your money or your time on this.

Lexi Complete no longer available. It appears that Lexi Complete has been removed as an option. It used to be the go to gold standard for drug information that I have use for the last 14 years. The quality of the interface has decreased the time and now that Lexi comp complete is no longer an option, the quality of the reference material is probably worse than many other free apps that are just as good or better than a subscription. I would no longer recommend this product to anyone as a professional reference. It appears that Lexicomp was bought out by a larger parent company who attempts to monetize the information but the marketing team knows little to nothing about the products they own. If I was the CEO I would start firing people for such poor performance.

Took away 50% of content without explanation!. I have been a monthly (not a cheap subscription) for at least 3 years. Was great. 5 stars. Then, last month, no explanation and no discount or rebate, they took away at least 75% of content. Yes, mid-subscription they did update and just ripped me off without explanation. Not acceptable. Both 5 minute clinical consults vanished. Again, no apology, no explanation, just clicked on update, new terrible format, and content just taken away. Again, I paid for a product, got 75% of it taken away first week of monthly subscription with no explanation and sure as heck didn’t refund 75% of the subscription fee. Not cool.

Can’t save tables anymore. Should have listed that you can’t save tables anymore in your last update description. Not worth the price with other comparable and much cheaper mobile apps.

Outrageous! Limit access to only 1 device!. I've been using Lexicomp on my IPhone for years. The package is very high priced >$300 for one year. I just purchased an IPad and was looking forward to using a bigger screen for times when I'm not on the go. I was STUNNED when I found out that Lexicomp wants to charge me an additional fee to access information on my 2nd device. I told them that I pay for access to information, not for an Icon on my Iphone! In the future I will subscribe to FactsandComparisons online. Also I will continue to rely on Epocrates. Lexicomp needs to seriously reevaluate the ethics of their business practices. Gratefully I can rate their product from any of my devices at no penalty.

Too many clicks and not optimal search function. Not happy with new update. App defaults to update page instead of home page. Then you have to 'click' four times just to get to the search field. THEN if you search using only the first few letters of a drug name, the search results pulls in ANY drug name that contains those letters, even if those letters are in the middle of the drug name. Why doesn't the drug names that begin with those letters appear at the top of the list?

WoW! If this is just the start .... I LOVE it! Much faster and MUCH less crowded! My sometimes tired eyes would struggle before. It still needs some love here and but I like it so far. Long awaited for sure! Can’t wait to see where it goes next release. 👍🏼

15 years. I have been a loyal user of lexicomp for 15 years. I’ve recommended Lexi to many colleagues over the years. Called yesterday to renew my 3 year subscription. Informed that it’s no longer offered and several topics are no longer included. No more labs or 5 min consult to name some. New company bought them out. There are alternatives, bye bye Lexi Gary Consultant Pharmacist

Getting worse and worse. Where is my pill ID function? Still paying for subscription but everything is offered less!

Don’t even download the free trial.. I downloaded the free trial despite the terrible reviews. In the 30 days I wasn’t able to use it not even once. It’s too slow and crashes constantly. Every time I would open it to look something up, I ended up closing it several minutes later and using a different drug resource. On top of all that, I canceled it 1 month to the day and still got charged a second month. I’ll probably dispute it with my credit card company because I’ve tried to reach out to ANYONE with this company and I never get to a human. In fact it currently has a recorded message that they can’t process anything (purchases, etc) over the phone right now. Stay far away from this. It’s not worth it. Not even a little bit. I wish I hadn’t downloaded it, I clearly didn’t need it.

Emergency Nursing as a Traveler. This has helped considerably as a traveler as each hospital has a different place to hide drugs guides (both physical and online), and different common medications used and prescribed. The database is stored on the phone, so it even works in airplane mode and needs no connection. I bought the $50 Nursing Lexi-Drugs which comes with the calculator and it serves all of my needs nicely. My favorite use is when giving discharge instructions and the patient asks "Should I eat before taking this?" Other nurses might know the answer for this off hand for most medications, but I do not. This app lets me answer them without having to run around and look it up.

Getting worse!. Generic info, lucking specifics. Especially MOA. You can google and find more info and faster! Lexi- comp subscriber since 2004! Tablets identification is pathetic. I was entering pill description and couldn’t get any result. My tech found it on google in 3 min. You ruined a perfect product! Missing my Lexi comp complete.

Price and packages no longer helpful or affordable. Wanted to renew my subscription to Lexi-complete couldn’t find it and customer service told me it’s no longer available. The closest option is $799 per year. And 5 minute clinical consult is no longer available. Complained that this was twice the price of my last subscription and half the amount of time and she then told me Lexi complete was still available directly through Apple for $30 per month. I cannot find it and cannot afford $799 for a new subscription. Wolters kluwer must change this

Great resource in a not so good app.... I think that most will agree that the revsources in this app are unparalleled. I will focus on the problems with this app. 1.) A separate subscription is needed for each device that you want to use it on. 2.) If your Internet connection requires authentication prior to working (e.g. A public network that you need to agree to join by clicking a link), the app will crash after opening about 90% of the time. I have to put my phone on airplane mode to prevent this. 3.) Updates take a while, which is understandable, but a lot of times they just seem to stall and not progress. 4.) Overall the app is a little sluggish and the layout is not efficient. The information is just a single large page with links to different sections.

Issues with 5.0. Agree with most recent review regarding annoyance of app automatically checking for updates every time I open it. Also, the search function is now a filter function in Lexi-Drugs, which is useless and slows me down when trying to pull up individual medications. The update is great otherwise, but these two issues are significant.

Funky update function. I would recommend lexicomp to develop the app that allows users to update the content in the background without having interruptions to searching the drugs. Also, it would be nice to have the update on the content still happening in the background when users switch the screen to use a different app.

Automatic subscription. I apparently unwittingly ordered this, and with automatic renewal I don't know how long I paid for this, but I NEVER USED LEXICOMP. Enough said.

Nice refresh. Home screen much more user friendly. Search results much better organized

Feels like they stopped paying attention to the app. This used to be quite an amazing app. One of my favorite features was the ability to customize it via the “mono” arrangement of drug sections. However, the ability to edit/arrange this has been lost for over a year now and they keep saying “we’re working on it”! A shame-because it feels like such an easy fix to restore a function that was there before. Otherwise, information is good and very useful. Just not as easily available as it could(or used to) be.

Recent Issues. App keeps deleting entire library and have had to redownload 3 times this week alone. Very frustrating

Making the best of a bad situation. Willing to tolerate an outdated app because lexi’s information is so much better than micromedex and uptodate is harder to navigate. Biggest complaint: If it needs an update, you can’t look up ANYTHING before you update. I’ve got a nurse on the phone asking me a compatibility question, and it won’t let me look it up until I do a 3mb update. It’s irritating, because I usually use the app when I’m looking for an answer quickly.

Crashes constantly. Lexicomp is great, but the app crashes every time I try to open it after the most current update. Even before that update it would crash frequently. It has gotten so bad that I am back to using epocrates. The app both on my phone and ipad takes forever to load even when it is working. Update: I haven't been able to open this app for months now on both an iPhone 4S and an ipad mini. It will just show the loading screen and then crash. I no longer use this app, which is unfortunate because it was really good when it worked. Now I use epocrates, which, while not as good, at least boots and functions.

Suggestion for improvement. It would be helpful if we could set the height and weight to default to metric for calculations versus the default height in inches and weight in kg.

Don’t buy this. I have had this app fir over 15 years and each year the price went up and the functionality and offerings have gone down. Finally they took away the useful databases and delete any customized choices. This used to be the best. Like owning an Edsel. Good bye lexicomp.

Gets worse and not better. It seems that over time the information gets more generic. Specifically in areas such as MOA. As pharmacists are a primary customer it would be good to have as much detailed information on the details as possible. New UI is not easy to navigate. Why did you make it use an extra keystroke to search? Previously one started typing and drug names popped up in a given database. Now you have to type and hit search then correct spelling then hit search again, rinse and repeat. Annoying. Beginning to think there are other options that are better although I’ve been using continuously for over 15 years now. 3 stars for content but would only give 1 star for UI.

Databases “expired” as soon as I got charged my subscription. As soon as I got charged for my monthly subscription the app stopped working. I tried deleting and redownloading and the databases say they’re expired. I got charged and now I can’t use this at work. Also it’s definitely not as user friendly as I’d like it to be for quick patient questions. I paid for nothing.

Frustrated student. This app worked flawlessly when I first purchased it. Since the update, it is now a complete and total waste of time. It is the slowest app on my phone and crashes 5 times for every one time that it works. I can leave a patient's room, walk down the hall and find any condition or medication in a text book before this app even opens fully. At the price you charge for an annual subscription this is completely unacceptable. I will not be renewing my subscription and will make a point to share this information with my colleagues and the dean of my program (who required that we purchase your product)

Think twice. I love lexicomp. They are very comprehensive, the information is trustworthy, and my pharmacist career has been nothing but progressed by lexicomp in general. That being said, if you're about to drop the significant amount of money this software costs, DO NOT. This is based solely on the app. The app crashes and has to be deleted and re-installed very frequently, and this issue has me extremely upset about it. This is a lot of money, and definitely not worth the poor performance. At this point, I cannot wait for this subscription to run out so I can try to find something comparable. Imagine, you need to see if two meds are stable together in a med bag, and your app won't allow you to acces IV compatibility. What do I do? Run the 15 flights of stairs and two buildings over that separate me from my textbook references? No. This is why I pay hundreds of dollars for the lexicomp app as a reference. Extremely dissatisfied.....

Glitchy, problems downloading library. Not happy at all with this app. Designed like an app from 10 years ago, can’t seem to load the necessary libraries (dead ends). Back to epocrates.

Modest Improvements / Still No "True" Background Updates. The latest update brought some modest improvements to the update module. While the update now allows you to use the Lexi-Comp app while the app is updating, the reality is the updates often times take well over 10 minutes and if you exit the app, your updates fail. Lexi-Comp needs to work on a TRUE background app update solution that is offered by many applications today. This is no longer a limitation of iOS, don't make it a limitation of your app when your customers are paying $300+/yr.

Decent trial. Decent apps, requires long a trial activation when starting apps... email address along with other infomation needed... 30day trails. massive collection of drug info... if you can be bothered to download about 600mb worth.. best over wifi ofcourse. drug are mainly name after the generic name although the product name can sometime show... if you live in australia... its best to use the generic name as sometime it wont show... also be aware it follow US naming protocol... so for example paracetamol is called acetaminophen

App WAS excellent !. Have used this app for over 5 years. Was easy to use good value for cost, updated daily and offered wide range of information besides drugs info. Now , cost for 1 year what I was paying for 3 years. Have limited library options and is more cumbersome to navigate. I suspect this App will be DC’d to force people to move to Up to Date their flagship and very good but expensive unless you obtain under University etc umbrella subscription. Too bad they had a very good product that served Health Professionals very well.

Not bad. App requires constant in app updates. Update fails if you switch out of the app and does not run in the background. Subscription was free through my work so I can’t complain about that but I don’t think I’d buy it personally. IV Ringers is very limited in its studies for compatibility.

Needs update. Please support the iPhone X, thanks.

Lexi drug. Great products. Makes patient care much safer would not be without this product.

Cost. Buyer beware I didnt read the fine print $43.00/mo

Good but app has some issues. I have been using lexi-comp for 3 years. It used to work fine until 8 months ago and the program would crash. With the new update, it works faster but will attempt to use the internet when starting up. If you have a poor wifi signal or no bars (which is my case in the hospital), you are forced to put it into airplane mode to start up the app, which is frustrating. Otherwise the content is constantly updated and easy to navigate. Lexi-Drugs is identical to the published copy and the interact tool is a must have for pharmacists.

Avoid. No support for iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. No background updating of data.

Thumbs up.. Useful and reliable... People are complaining abt the price are fool.... It's an 2 hr wage of any health professional .... Atleast u can afford that!!!!!!

Lexi. C'est une excellente bibliothèque, mais le prix est un peu prohibitif.

Lexi-comp. Excellent app but the annual subscription rate for more than one device is prohibitive and there's a lot of information which one has to subscribe to which one does not need. Furthermore some drugs no longer available in Canada are still listed. For these reasons I cancelled my subscription and have found less expensive apps which are just as good.

Hefty price tag. Great app, always my preferred reference but for the 75$ pricetag EACH year you should be entitled to use it on more than one device. Disapointing.

Multitask feature?. Great product and easy to use. Makes patient care safer. Would it be possible to have the multitask feature in a newer update? Then, I would be able to use this app while looking at two different screens, such as Safari, and it make it an even more ideal app to use while rounding.

Amazing. One of the best apps, if not THE best app, for pharmacists. I have it free currently however, unsure about pricing.

Than you. Very useful application, use it on daily basis. Thank you

Never ending updates. Valuable information but takes forever to download the updates since it stops when you exit the app !?! Then, if it takes too long before you find the time to download it, some functions you might have paid for stop working (like medcalc and IV compatibilities, for example).

Subscriptions and renewals are very difficult. Trying to renew the subscription is extremely difficult. Process is stuck in the stone ages of e-commerce.

Just wow. I had this app last year, my employer paid for the app and I was so excited to have this. It is really good with up to date information. What turned me off on this app is that after one year I had to renew my subscription and pay 75-300$ again! Just wow. I thought I had this app forever. Sorry but I'm not renewing my subscription.

Crashing !!. Why won't this app open I need to use it ASAP !!!

Interaction tab not working!. App crashes every time I tried to add a drug. Please fix asap!!

Interaction tab not working. Having trouble with the interaction tab. Everything i click + to add a drug the app shuts down automatically

Ripoff!!. Who are they kidding? This is a semi-useful app but with a sky-high price. That's right, after one month of using the free app, it locks up and they want 75-300$ for ONE YEAR!! There are more useful apps out there at much lower cost or even free. Don't bother with this one.

Pharmacist. Favorite app! Fastest way to quickly reference a dose when a doc asks for a recommendation. Love that it includes offlabel uses for drugs too. Interaction screening is great, can do drug/herb/food. Lots of ppl are saying it's expensive, which I it is if you get the whole suite. From a pharmacist's perspective, though, all you really need is the drug and interact tools. For 3 yrs, these two is about 70 bucks monthly. I use them multiple times daily so its really worth it. Highly recommended for pharmacists!

crashing. The entire month of july 2012 this app will not open. It crashes each time I try to launch the app on my iphone. I am very unhappy with this service. For the amount I paid for this app, I should not be encountering these problems.

Greedy. Good app but... Way too much money.... You have to pay to renew each year or you can't use it... And have to pay more to use on a different device even though you already paid for it.

Problems with iOS 8. Since iOS8, when i select the text box to search for drug names , it disappears Please fix

le meilleur. c'est par abonnement annuel, ce n'est pas un achat. Pour un abonnement de deux ans, j'ai obtenu une troisième année gratuite. C'est comme une copie du CPS à jour.

Cancel!!!. Cancel this program I don't want it

Great info - frustrating app. I realize how much I depend on this app because it frequently crashes to the point where it won't load and I need I do a fresh install - which means loading my libraries again. Slower update speeds too. Flip side, when it works, is an invaluable resource and highly recommend.

Great app!. As a pharmacist, I use it everyday. Provides thorough and in depth information. Like the links within monographs to guidelines and other helpful websites. The calculator and other tools are awesome! One thing however is it keeps crashing when I click on my Favorites. Please fix.

Interact not working. I love this app but lately, the Interact part isn't working... when I try to add a drug, the app closes... tried reinstalling but it doesn't work :(

Excellent App!. I am a new user and am very impressed with the wealth of information contained within. I expect this will be a huge asset to me in my daily work environment.

Helpful. This product is helpful, easy to use. For those thinking its a rip-off, it is, however, I was able to get this app through my work since my work subscribes to lexicomp for patient care and so it was free for me to get on my iPhone. I would never get this otherwise.

App needs work. 1) I should be able to remove Dental Lexi-Drugs, Nursing Lexi-Drugs, and other non-essential references from the app (if I have purchased Lexi-Complete). 2) I should have the option of the APP opening directly to Lexi-Drugs  Drugs index since that’s what I use 95% of the time. Why do I have to open the APP, select Lexi-Drugs, select Drugs, and then search for medication I’m interested in is beyond me.

Please fix!. I have been using this app for years and I love it, but the new update causes it to crash and makes it unusable!! Please fix ASAP because I use this everyday on my job!

Direct payment method. The app is awesome but it would be great if we had a direct payment method by using the apple ID account on our iphones, it would be more easy to purchase the services

good pocket reference. however, I think the buttons on the interaction screen need to be switched. it's intuitive to confirm something with a button at the top right screen and to clear something on the left side. this is consistent. with pretty much any other iPhone application. getting a little frustrated with accidentally clearing out my list of drugs to screen.

Crashes!!. here lately, i can't even access the app! every single time i try to open the app, it crashes and won't pull up the database.. i would normally rate this 4-5 stars, but not happy with it right now since i can't even use the application that i've paid to use. i even reinstalled but that didn't help the issue. please try to fix!!

Great app but...... Love this app it has everything for a pharm student! It is 10 times better that micromedex. Two down sides $300 dollars PER YEAR!!!!! PER YEAR!!!! At the very least it should be a lifetime subscription. Also it has over 50 updates per day. Everytime I check there is an update. Do one set of updates per day

Perfect. The Lexicomp software is substantially faster the iPhone 5 than it was on my 4. The new iOS 6 update also adds fullscreen. This app is quite literally a lifesaver in the ICU.

Freezes constantly. I would give this 5 stars if it didn't take forever to load and crashed/froze my iphone 5 every time I used it without exiting the app (ie if I don't exit and just click on another app- it freezes guaranteed- have to reboot the phone for it to work again). otherwise I use it daily at work as a pharmacist. Please fix the freezing/crashing! This thing is 170 bucks a year, I know you can.

Horrible. They charge you for their service and can't fix the bug that crashes, so you can't check drug-drug interactions. Even free Apps have fixed their bugs and crashes with the new IOS update, and they sent an email to their subscription users that they are waiting for apple to approve their fix. Yeah sure you are!!! Horrible!!!!

Easy to use Interact. Excellent job on creating a quick, accessible drug interaction resourse. I don't know if I'll ever pick up a paper version again.

GNP ACHPN. I wish I had not updated. Not only did I lose Harrison's which I use, the substitute 5 Minute Clinical Consult did not load and all of the Natural Products are missing even though my subscription and Update functions insist these are loaded onto my device. Unfortunately, I am paid up until 2014 and should have been able to keep Harrison's until the end of my paid subscription. This is what made Lexicomp different from Epocrates.

The "Gold Standard" of Mobile Databases. This app is very easy to navigate through and is a nice, quick source when you need to look up the necessary medication info. I appreciate how often it is updated, often 2 or 3 times daily.

Not working in iOS 8 Beta 1. This is my favorite mobile drug reference, but it freezes upon opening in iOS 8 Beta 1.

Perfect for quick reference or for research projects. Love having this app to use while at work when I have a question, or to use as a reference when working on presentations.

Crashes constantly. Constantly crashes.. Please fix soon this is ridiculous. I use this at work to run interaction checks and right when I have the 10+ meds selected it crashes. Horrible. Crashes even when simply looking up drugs. For the previous post- Harrison's practice is now 5-minute consult, they sent an email out about the change. I am also not happy with this because Harrison's had much more useful and detailed information.

Love the new search option. Allows easier navigation through this massive database.

Yes, you have to pay for it!. This is the best database out there. Yes, it is expensive. Having drug facts, interactions and pretty much every current article, journal, case study related to that drug is priceless. It does take some getting used to but after using Micromedix and Epocretes, this is a night and day difference.

Great app, one issue. I like LexiComp and I use it in addition to Epocrates and Medscape but my main issue with LexiComp is that it doesn't have a unified search field. I would love to be able to search all of LexiComp from one search field instead of having to first find the correct database and then navigate to the search field. Other than that a great app and I would rate it 5 stars if they corrected this issue

Best medical app but expensive. This is by far the best medical app in the App Store. The information is thorough, well laid-out and continuously updated. Customer support is very good. However, it is expensive when compared to free apps such as Medscape or Micromedex. It's worth it if you can afford the yearly subscription.

BEWARE: Requires an additional subscription fee to have it on your tablet!. I am a medical student. I have my phone on me for rounds, and study from my iPad. Was a definite deal breaker when Lexicomp wanted to charge me 2 separate subscriptions to have it on both of my devices. Requires $285/yr subscription, plus addition subscription to have it on a second device. Not cool! Physicians and medical students especially have both smart phones and tablets, and require medical references on both. Will stick with EPOCRATES and MEDSCAPE (which are free).

Love it. 1st. Go to their website and buy it from there. MUCH cheaper than thru the App Store!! I have not had any problems with crashing and I also have not had problems with updates (I am able to bypass this if I need to access information immediately). Not sure if those are older reviews I was reading, but the app has been working great for me! Indispensable!!

Add "Lexi-Drugs" to the homepage menu. Please add a shortcut of Lexi-Drugs (Drugs) to the homepage menu for quick access. It wastes so much time and too many clicks just to get to the page to actually look up drug info. Healthcare professionals often have to look up critical drug information in a split of a second. App developer should understand that.

Indispensable. Lexi-Comp? Mo' like Sexi-Comp! This sleek, elegant app gives the good stuff and just keeps on giving. I love this app so much I want to take it behind the high school and get it pregnant. Thanks for the great work Lexi-Pimps!!

I love this app!. I used this all the time for work and loved it so much, I bought my own subscription! If you're upgrading from a previous version, uninstall then reinstall. My favorite professional app!

LexiComp 1.7. I had a problem with crashes. But I called tech support and they responded promptly and provided me with a fix; which was to delete the app and reinstall app. Works great. Great tech support keep up the good work.

I use it but...!. I'm a pharmacist and I use it a lot! I think it's very helpful and I like the fact that it's always up to date. I would have rated it as 5 star if it wasn't for the fact that you could only use it on ONE DEVICE! If I'm paying to buy an app I should be able to use it on both my iPad and my iPhone and not on only 1 device!

Good, but not perfect. Last update of Lexicomp is awsome, but there is an annoying bug - when typing in Search box, if I make a mistake, the app is crushing (iOS 4.2.1, iPod touch 2G). Otherwise, the same old good app, with plenty of information, fast and reliable.

Big update coming soon?. I have updated to ios9 also and updating Lexi books is inconsistent at best. Some take multiple tries. Others outright fail over and over. It would also be nice to be able to choose an auto-update for the books used most often.

Tnx 4 hearing Us 🙏. I am a pharmacist and Lexicomp is my main reference. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thanks for fixing the bug which was responsibile for disabling the interaction checker. But I am not agree with the "what's new in version 2.3.2". Because as I had said in my last review, I had iPad Air 2 with iOS 8.1.3 and meanwhile I had encountered with the crashings of interaction checker. Anyway, you are awsome! And I love you. Now I see that my Lexi-interaction came back to life. Now I can rely on you and I will certainly repurchase my subscription on May 2015. Thank you very much Best Regards.

Great software; beware of licensing. Lexi-comp is a great piece of software, but without the ability to use your subscription on multiple devices (iPad, iPhone, etc), there may be other products that fill this need better. I shouldn't have to buy a subscription for both my iPad and iPhone! App crashes every time I hit the library button.

Keeps on crashing. I have iPhone 4s, I have been using Lexi for past 5 years on iPhones but this time it keeps on crashing on me:( . If I search drug and close app by pressing home button on iPhone , it will crash every time I reopen the app. I use to like Lexi but now it is becoming a problem for me. Can it be fixed please

Nursing student. Excellent app! I used the trial version until it expired during my clinical rotation in Mott Children Hospital where LexiComp is the official drug manual. I was able to do safe drug calculations away from the hospital and maximize patient care. :)

Excellent Resource. I have to say what impresses me most about this application is the cross-referencing that is available. Very pricey, especially for a NP, but the knowledge base and referencing allows a one-time link to the issue being researched and the answers needed. Current information and accurate as well. Highly recommended.

Fix the bug. Since the last software update my program shuts down every time I misspell a drug name. I also recommend using micromedex free app. It gives you everything you need for 300 times less money.

Best drug app. I'm a recent graduate and used this app. frequently throughout clinical rotations. The app. would be 5 stars if not for the cost and the fact it can only be put on one device. You get what you pay for (it's a great app and can be worth it if you plan on using it a lot)...but sure is pricey.

My go-to guide.. I use this quite frequently to access drug information and it gives you everything you'd ever need to know about a medication!

iPhone X. Still no iPhone X update. For the price we pay it should have been ready to go on day one. Also let’s add iCloud backup for my notes then I could actually use the note option. I can afford to use note section with the risk of loosing my information. Please get this app up to date.

Very expensive with terrible customer support. Had it for years but now expires yearly. I can easily afford it, but it is very overpriced. Upgraded my iPhone and the software would not work. Customer support almost impossible to access and not very helpful. Giving up. Would rather give my money to a better run company. Sorry guys....used you daily for years, but this was the last straw.

Crashes fixed when redownloading. There were a done of crashes! After downloading it again, it works. Great app for pharmacy. I use it every day.

Annoyed. Have been using lexi on my iPhone for almost 3 years and the last couple of months have been the most frustrating! Harrison's practice, which i loved, is gone. And I have to turn my phone to airplane mode all day at work to ensure lexi will be available when I need it! (It's so unprofessional to have a doctor or nurse waiting on the phone while I wait for lexicomp to load...it's usually much faster to just use micromedex instead). Questioning if I'll be renewing later this year...

Good, could be better.... Lots of good info, as a nurse in a busy urban hospital, having used this app for a day or two I have some suggestions: -A pregnancy wheel/trimester & due date calc. -normal hcg ranges -rule of 9's chart or other for calculating bsa of burns -fluid resuscitation calc for burns -cpp, map, icp calculator -rsi & acls protocol drug charts with dose, onset of action, duration grouped together -tabs for easily flipping through sections broken down into symptoms, labs, complications, treatments etc. To avoid reading through lengthy text. Some of these may be in here & I just cannot find them. Thanks!

A7979. Great app but what brings this app down to 2 stars is that the IV compatibility portion of the app has to be updated frequently sometimes more than once a day! For such a great app at a great expense, this should of have been fixed already.

Great info, buggy app. Lexicomp is my go-to for drug and other info. Unfortunately every time I try to change the defaults to have sections closed on the monographs, the app crashes. Been a problem for a long time

Too expensive. Enjoyed it for the past 8 years. The last three years I paid $75 yearly which I think is fair. I was going to renew it, and to my surprise the subscription significantly went up. So, no i will not subscribe it, I’m done with it. But Let me know when the price drops.

Awesome resource to have!. I love these app and all the benefits that it brings to the table every single day in my practice. I enjoy it is very easy to use. I would like this app to automatically update itself due to the frequent updates that are issued. Nonetheless it is a must-have for any modern dentist I think.

Apple + Lexicomp = mess. I use Lexi every day as a clinical pharmacist. I got a new phone and NO ONE at wolters kluwer nor apple can fix my problem. iTunes is just going to start billing me $30 for no service and no one can see it or fix it. 10 Years of Lexicomp use and now I’m just going to download epocrites or Micromedex. 3 hours on the phone with people apologizing, condescending yet no one fixing. Good luck, everyone. I’m done. Apple and Lexi just don’t work and play well together

Great app. Lexicomp app is very easy to use. Not only is it a great drug reference, but also compatibility checker. The other clinical tools are great: 5-minute clinical decision tool, pediatric reference, herbals, home meds, patient education. There is so much info! Great app! I am and FNP student and it is a boon for my rotations. Very handy! highly recommend!

Not worth the money to me. I purchased this app for grad school and it was such a waste of money. Not only was it required, but the app is not user friendly and you ALWAYS have to perform updates ( takes forever)!!! I would rather use Epocrates, much nicer, very informative and easy to navigate while seeing patients. My only complaint is the cost :0(... Almost 200 per year, but it’s so good for a new practitioner...

Thank You for correcting Interact!. This is a great product. Unfortunately interact stopped working after the last iOS update. Maybe next time I won't be so quick to update my iOS devices!!

Great resource. Use this app a lot. Please fix the disappearing search bar. In landscape mode, the search bar disappears when the keyboard pops up. I cannot see what I am typing. This is very annoying. Thank you.

Please wait! Lexicomp app comments loading...
